An overview of this role
As a Fullstack Engineer on the Duo Client SDK team at GitLab, you'll build the shared foundation for every GitLab Duo client. Today, the logic that powers Duo in editors lives inside the GitLab Language Server. We're extracting it into a true software development kit (SDK): a set of well-versioned TypeScript packages that editor extensions, our web-based Duo Chat on GitLab.com, and eventually external applications can use.
You'll work in TypeScript across frontend and backend systems. You'll design the SDK's Node.js core and public application programming interface (API), and work in the clients that use it. The work rewards care about interfaces, versioning, and backward compatibility as much as features because other engineers will depend on what you build.
You'll have senior and staff engineers alongside you to help with design. You'll own the implementation of scoped packages and ship improvements with minimal guidance while collaborating with the team on larger architectural changes.
Some examples of our projects:
The Duo Client SDK, extracting versioned, publishable packages from the GitLab Language Server
The GitLab Language Server, rebuilt on top of the SDK as our polyglot surface
Duo Chat on the web, as one of the SDK's first consumers
What you'll do
Develop secure, well-tested, and performant TypeScript features that solve technical problems of moderate scope and complexity.
Ship small features and improvements with minimal guidance, writing tests with every merge request and contributing to code reviews and design discussions.
Extract and publish TypeScript packages from the GitLab Language Server, migrating consumers incrementally so no parallel implementation is left to drift.
Design durable public APIs with clear interfaces, semantic versioning, changelogs, and deprecation paths for external consumers.
Build isomorphic core packages that isolate platform-specific behavior in adapters at the edges.
Build and improve SDK client surfaces, including Vue 3 components in Duo Chat on the web, in collaboration with product, design, and engineering teams.
Strengthen credential handling across hosts, including bearer tokens, session cookies, and CSRF protection.
Optimize bundle size, startup cost, and dependency weight for browser consumers, and support a Tier 2 on-call rotation for urgent engineering issues.
What you'll bring
Strong proficiency with TypeScript across frontend and backend systems, including experience building and maintaining Node.js services.
Experience with modern build and packaging tools, including monorepos, multi-module builds, ECMAScript modules (ESM), and dependency management.
Experience with Vue 3 and the Composition API, or comparable component-based frontend experience and a willingness to learn Vue.
Experience designing APIs that other people use, with the ability to explain what you'd do differently.
Understanding of the differences between running code in Node.js and in the browser, and how to write code that works in both.
A security-minded development approach, including careful credential handling and performance optimization.
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in writing about technical problems, propose iterative solutions, and work effectively in an agile environment.
Self-motivation, strong organizational skills, and the judgment to ask for help when needed while thriving in a fully remote organization aligned with GitLab's values.
About the team
The Duo Client SDK team sits in GitLab's AI Clients stage and works closely with teams building GitLab Duo experiences. We collaborate across client surfaces to make thoughtful technical decisions as the platform evolves. We work fully remotely and asynchronously across regions, in the open, following GitLab's values of transparency and open communication.

We are looking for a Russian-speaking
B2C Growth Marketing Manager
who can combine structured marketing leadership with hands-on execution of high-leverage work.
This is a full-time, fully remote role for someone who can work closely with the founder, turn many marketing ideas into a clear growth plan, identify the strongest lead generation opportunities, discard distractions, execute with discipline, and own the numbers for B2C growth, lead generation, and revenue.
About Transparent Hiring
Transparent Hiring changes people’s lives by helping them find jobs and relocate to countries with a high quality of life, making the process as smooth and predictable as possible.
We are an IT recruiting and relocation company specializing in helping English-speaking IT professionals find jobs in Germany and Europe. We support candidates through the full journey: job search, positioning, applications, interviews, job offer, visa, relocation, and settling into a new country.
Our headquarters are in Bavaria, Germany, and our distributed team works remotely across Europe and Central Asia. We operate 100% remotely and accept candidates from anywhere, as long as your working hours sufficiently overlap with ours.
About The Role
This role is a mix of
marketing strategy, funnel ownership, hands-on execution, and coordination of a small marketing team
.
You will work directly with the founder, who brings many ideas, hypotheses, and business priorities. Part of your job is to help turn these inputs into a focused marketing plan. More importantly, we expect you to bring your own growth marketing expertise: identify high-impact approaches we have not tried yet, and turn the strongest opportunities into practical campaigns, experiments, and funnel improvements.
You will own the plan, prioritize strategies, channels, and campaigns, define what success looks like, track results, understand what worked and what did not, and adjust the strategy based on data. This is not a role for simply organizing other people's ideas; we are looking for someone who can shape the growth agenda and make strong recommendations based on experience, data, and customer insight.
Our B2C marketing funnel includes social (Telegram/Instagram/LinkedIn), paid acquisition, lead magnets, webinars, lifecycle communication, and consultation-based conversion.
You will work with internal and external contributors across content, paid acquisition, operations, and analytics.
You may add freelancers or other external specialists when needed. As the function grows, success in this role should also create the case for hiring more marketing specialists and delegating more hands-on work.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and prioritize key lead gen opportunities (strategies, channels, campaigns) and discard the rest.
Proactively suggest and test high-impact growth marketing approaches that could improve lead quality, funnel conversion, and revenue.
Plan marketing activities, then execute the plan together with the internal marketing team and external specialists.
Set and achieve growth, lead gen and revenue KPIs.
Measure, understand and report on what worked and what not.
Own and improve the B2C funnel from awareness to lead and purchase, including ad campaigns, lead magnets, landing pages, email sequences, and marketing materials.
What Success Looks Like
In this role, success means that marketing becomes more structured, measurable, and connected to business outcomes.
You will be successful if:
You deliver a clear and focused marketing plan that achieves monthly goals with given resources.
Marketing activities are executed according to the plan and deliver results.
Marketing ideas are captured, prioritized, and either executed or intentionally declined.
Growth, lead generation, and revenue KPIs are clearly defined, measured and achieved.
Marketing reports explain what worked, what did not, and what we will do differently.
Requirements
Fluent Russian language.
Fluent English at C1 level.
Experience working in a startup-like environment: limited resources, fast pace, and short feedback loops.
Experience coordinating marketers, agencies or freelancers.
Hands-on funnel owner: you can set direction, brief and manage contributors, and personally execute high-leverage work when needed.
Ability to design core marketing systems: funnel structure, automation, tracking, and reporting.
Strong analytical skills - you are good with numbers.
Structured thinking.
Clear communication in spoken and written form (towards stakeholders as well as marketing audiences).
Strong self-organization.
Attention to detail.
Nice To Have
Any of the following can be applied in our marketing, so it will be a plus but is not required:
Experience in EdTech, career, recruiting, relocation, immigration, or professional services.
Marketing workflow automation: n8n / Zapier / Make / Gumloop, or similar tools.
Experience planning and setting up email sequences and lifecycle campaigns.
Experience with chatbot automations in Instagram/Telegram/WhatsApp.
Performance marketing: Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, or similar paid social channels.
Experience with webinars or online events.
Experience with Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.
SEO experience with tools such as Ahrefs, Semrush, Google Search Console, or similar.
Landing page creation and CMS experience, such as WordPress.
Conditions And Benefits
KPI-based performance bonus will be a significant part of your total comp.
Direct work with the founder and short feedback loops.
High ownership and visible impact from the first weeks.
Supportive international team.
Opportunity to shape the B2C marketing system, not just execute tasks.
Full-time role.
Fully remote work.
We are deeply dedicated to our mission and expect the same level of focus from you. This role requires full attention and a deep dive into our business, audience, offers, and numbers. It cannot be combined with client work, employment, or projects that reduce availability, focus, or create conflicts of interest.
How To Apply
Send us your CV and a short note explaining:
Your greatest achievement in a similar role.
Which KPIs you owned.
How you usually prioritize marketing ideas when there are more ideas than time.

What the Role Is
This is a new role that owns integrated go-to-market strategy for every Wishlist moment: feature launches, seasonal pushes, and campaign activity tied to Registry/Wishlist. You’ll own user research, market sizing, and journey mapping, becoming the expert on the wishlist user. You'll direct the editorial and content work needed to bring each plan to life. You report to the Director, Customer Marketing, and hand finished plans straight to Brand & Creative, Growth channels, and Corporate Communications for execution, reporting on progress, and iterating to drive wishlist adoption and growth. This role exists because Wishlist is a core feature driving LTV growth, and needs a single owner focused on the user journey, threading strategy through to execution. This role will create a single point of partnership across product and marketing to enable faster and more cohesive go to market ways of working.
Who You Are
You have worked in an Integrated Marketing role in a Senior role, leading through influence with proven success. - this is an IC role, requiring deep cross functional partnership to succeed.
User focused: Have taken UX, analytics and custom research and built a marketing strategy for a product that appeals to this specific customer.
Consumer marketing experience at scale: you've built plans that work across email, push, SMS, paid, and site at once, not owned a single channel.
Product marketing background: you can turn a feature roadmap into a customer story and a sequencing plan without much hand-holding
A specific track record of driving business growth through cross-functional partnership- you can point to what you built and what it moved
Comfortable directing editorial and content work without owning the creative function; you know what story needs telling and can brief it clearly
Genuinely energized by ambiguity and lead with curiosity. There's no formal brief in this model, you build the plan from what you learn inside the squad
You naturally reach for AI in your work. At Babylist, every team uses AI daily. You're already using it to move faster and improve your output, and you stay curious about what's coming next.
You can lead through influence.
How You Will Make An Impact
You will become the expert on the Babylist Wishlist user, understand motivations, needs, and wants inside and out of the product.
Build the integrated GTM strategy for every Wishlist moment, in lockstep with the product squad's roadmap
Direct editorial and content needs for Wishlist, briefing Brand & Creative and Content/Social directly
Demonstrate a level of competency on what good creative looks like and how to measure its success.
Create the internal playbook for this user and product, including competitive analysis, market opportunity and sizing and what good will look like in our marketing.
Hand finished GTM plans straight to execution centers; Brand & Creative, Growth channels, Corporate Communications, and keep each moving in parallel
Own the customer marketing value proposition for Wishlist across every channel it touches
Drive measurable growth in Wishlist adoption, you're accountable for the number, not just the campaign activity around it
Report progress and blockers directly to the Sr. Director, Customer Marketing
Why This Role
You're one of the first two hires into a brand-new model. Integrated Marketing didn't exist here before, so you're defining what good looks like, not inheriting a process.
Wishlist is one of Babylist's highest-leverage customer journeys, and this is a huge opportunity to shape the growth of this product.
You'll work inside the product squad itself, not downstream of it and your plan shapes the roadmap instead of reacting to it.
About Compensation
We use a market-based approach to compensation. The starting salary range for this role is:
$143,800 to $191,700 + target 20% annual bonus and competitive equity
Your starting salary will be based on your location, experience, and qualifications, with increases over time tied to performance, role growth, and internal pay equity.

An overview of this role
As an AI Transformation Owner at GitLab, you'll shape your function's AI strategy and build the solutions that deliver it. You are the person responsible for identifying where AI can fundamentally change how your org operates, partnering with your Executive Sponsor to align on the biggest challenges, and driving measurable outcomes against them.
Think of this as a product management role where the product is your org's way of working. You'll manage the full lifecycle: understanding how work flows today, deciding where AI should reshape it, prioritizing what gets built and in what order, and ensuring what ships actually gets adopted. You'll also prototype solutions, configure agents, and prove what's possible before pulling in engineering support to scale it.
You will work closely with an AI Engineer who sits within the Enterprise AI team. Together you form a partnership: you bring the business context, process intelligence, and strategic prioritization. They bring the technical depth, production-grade delivery, and architecture decisions. You'll build working solutions at the no-code and low-code layer, and partner with the AI Engineer on the right approach, tooling, and structure.
What you'll do
Strategy & Prioritization
Own your function's AI strategy,
aligned with your Executive Sponsor and business priorities. Understand which metrics matter to the org, identify what will move the needle, define how you'll measure impact, and track progress over time.
Map how work flows
across your function end-to-end, including the handoffs upstream and downstream to other orgs. Identify where the real constraints are, not just the ones your team can see. Focus on the 100x problems: where could leveraging AI in a workflow let your org execute it orders of magnitude faster, or at 100x more volume than before?
Manage intake
of AI requests, ideas, and pain points from across the function, including via your Champion network. Ensure every team member has a clear route to surface what they need, rather than building independently.
Prioritize strategically
against business outcomes and executive guidance. Hold the line on priorities - we cannot change direction every two weeks - and ensure the AI Engineer's time is spent on the highest-impact work.
Adoption & Change Management
Reimagine, not just automate.
Challenge your org to think beyond injecting AI into existing workflows. Work with Enterprise AI to spot opportunities to fundamentally rethink how work gets done.
Drive adoption and change management
together with the AI Engineer. The best AI solution is worthless if nobody uses it. Create the channels, rituals, and feedback loops that make AI visible in your function: shared spaces for teams to show what they've built, regular office hours, onboarding for new hires, and celebration of wins. Own the rollout and iteration needed to make AI initiatives stick.
Coordinate with Enterprise AI
to ensure your function benefits from patterns, tools, and learnings emerging across other parts of the business.
Build and bridge the Champion network in your function.
Champions are the peer community that extends your reach beyond what you and the AI Engineer can deliver directly. From early in the role, identify and recruit Champions across sub-teams (5-10% time, formally agreed with their manager), run a regular Champion sync, host demos to the wider function, and act as their bridge to Enterprise AI. Champions are not your reports: you coordinate them, you don't manage them. Without this network, your reach is capped.
Hands-On Building & Agent Operations
Build AI agents
using no-code and low-code platforms (e.g. Glean, Workato, similar tools). Go from idea to working prototype without waiting for engineering.
Author and iterate on skills files
that define how AI agents behave. Refine instructions based on real usage and share reusable skills across the function.
Configure MCP servers and tools,
giving agents access to the business systems they need. Partner with the AI Engineer on what to connect and how to do it securely.
Own your function's fleet of agents.
Some agents will be used directly by people in your org. Those that aren't, you own. Either way, you're accountable for their performance: tracking KPIs, running evaluations after model or data changes, and iterating based on what you learn.
Expect to rebuild.
AI tools and models evolve fast. The agent you built last month may need to be replaced, not patched. You should be comfortable sunsetting your own work when a better approach emerges, and helping your org stay current rather than attached to what exists today.
What you'll bring
Business & Strategic
Deep knowledge of your function's operations.
You understand how work moves through your org, where it gets stuck, and why. You can trace a process end-to-end and explain how it connects to the teams around it.
Strategic prioritization skills.
You've managed competing demands before and can make hard calls about what matters most. You think in terms of business outcomes, not activity.
A product management mindset.
You naturally think about intake, backlog, iteration, and adoption. You're comfortable defining success metrics and holding yourself accountable to them.
Strong communication and influence.
You'll be the person saying "not yet" to some teams and "think bigger" to others. You need the credibility and interpersonal skills to make both of those conversations land.
Cross-functional instincts.
You default to understanding how your org's processes affect and are affected by the teams around you - not just optimising in isolation.
Experience building peer networks or communities of practice.
You've recruited and sustained volunteer contributors before, whether as a guild lead, champion program owner, or community organizer. You know how to motivate people whose time you don't directly own.
Hands-On & Technical
Comfortable building with AI tools.
You don't need to write production code, but you should be able to build a working agent, configure a skill, connect an MCP server, and troubleshoot when something isn't working. Think: power user, not software engineer.
Ready to learn fast.
Experience with or willingness to quickly pick up no-code/low-code AI platforms, prompt engineering, and agent configuration. You'll be trained on GitLab's specific tooling, but you should arrive ready to get your hands dirty.
Strong conceptual understanding of AI capabilities
- summarization, classification, generation, automation, agentic workflows - and a commitment to staying current. The landscape shifts constantly. The tools you use today may be obsolete in weeks. You stay on top of new developments so that your org's AI strategy reflects what's actually possible, not what was possible six months ago.
Ability to map data flows
- structured and unstructured. Understand where agents need context, and figure out where humans should interface with automated workflows and at what steps.
About the team
You will partner closely with Enterprise AI within the Enterprise Technology & AI organization, while remaining embedded in your own function. Enterprise AI provides the technical delivery capability, platforms, and patterns. You provide the business context, prioritization, building at the no-code layer, and adoption muscle. Together, you form the core of your function's AI transformation.

An overview of this role
As an Intermediate Backend Engineer (Python) in GitLab's Agent Foundations stage, you'll go beyond using AI tools. You'll help build the foundations for GitLab's agentic AI experiences: the platform that lets AI agents work across the whole software delivery lifecycle, not just write code. That covers the reusable building blocks agents and flows are made from as well as our core harness, Duo Developer.
Most of your work will be backend engineering in Python, using libraries such as LangGraph to build secure, reliable and scalable features in our AI Gateway. You'll also work across the stack where needed. You'll work closely with engineers across the stage and other AI Engineering teams. This is a high-visibility area where GitLab's core platform meets its AI strategy.
What you'll do
Develop, ship and maintain features for the Duo Agent Platform in the Duo Workflow Service, the AI Gateway and, where needed, the GitLab monolith. Keep them secure, well-tested and performant.
Build and improve agentic flows and their reusable parts with LangChain and LangGraph, including the Flow Registry.
Work with Product Management, UX, frontend, backend and AI specialists to refine requirements and ship improvements in small iterations.
Design, implement and review APIs (including GraphQL and REST) and the backend logic behind them, with reliable, scalable and clear contracts for clients such as the GitLab monolith, IDE extensions and Duo CLI.
Improve and extend automated testing (pytest and other frameworks), including evaluations of agent and flow behavior, to strengthen quality and give developers faster feedback.
Share standards, patterns and learnings with other engineers to raise the bar for responsible AI integration and evidence-driven engineering.
Join Tier 2
on-call rotations
to troubleshoot production issues, contribute to root cause analysis, and improve observability and resiliency.
Keep an eye on the competitive landscape to help keep GitLab's agent platform best-in-class as more work becomes agentic.
What you'll bring
Experience building and maintaining production Python backend applications, including APIs, asynchronous or background processing, and data models.
Experience with LLM application frameworks such as LangGraph, or designing and shipping AI-powered backend features or harnesses.
Skill in designing or extending APIs (REST, GraphQL or gRPC) with attention to scalability, maintainability and backward compatibility.
Comfort working across the stack in a mature codebase. Familiarity with Ruby on Rails and/or JavaScript and Vue is a plus.
Experience finding and fixing performance bottlenecks in applications.
Clear written and verbal communication, including technical proposals and documentation, in a remote, async, cross-functional team.
Openness to learning and to applying skills from related technologies or fields.
About the team
The
Agent Foundations stage
builds the foundations for GitLab's agentic AI experiences. We provide the platform, catalog and execution features that help teams deliver resilient agents and flows to customers. The stage has three groups: Agent Developer, AI Catalog and Agent Execution. Between them, they own the GitLab Duo Developer foundational flow and the Flow Registry; the AI Catalog, including custom agents, custom flows and external agent integrations; and agent execution, agent tools and agent observability.
Our engineers work async-first across EMEA, AMER, and India timezones. We work with teams across AI engineering and the rest of GitLab so the Duo Agent Platform can power many of GitLab's AI features.

Composed of experienced services, consulting, and delivery professionals distributed across multiple regions, we operate asynchronously to support field teams, shape implementation strategies, and guide customers through their services journey. We focus on creating scalable engagement models, fostering open communication with internal stakeholders, and adapting our services offerings to the evolving needs of a rapidly maturing organization and its customers.
