ABOUT US
Sierra is the leading platform for customer-facing AI agents, working with many of the world's biggest brands — including The GAP, Rocket Mortgage, SoFi, Sutter Health, and SoftBank — to transform how they serve customers and grow their businesses. We are primarily an in-person company based in San Francisco, with growing offices across North America, Europe, and Asia.
We are guided by a set of values that are at the core of our actions and define our culture: Trust, Customer Obsession, Craftsmanship, Intensity, and a commitment to balancing Family along the way. These values are the foundation of our work, and we are committed to upholding them in everything we do.
Our co-founders are Bret Taylor https://www.linkedin.com/in/brettaylor/ and Clay Bavor https://www.linkedin.com/in/claybavor/. Bret currently serves as Board Chair of OpenAI. Previously, he was co-CEO of Salesforce (which had acquired the company he founded, Quip) and CTO of Facebook. Bret was also one of Google's earliest product managers and co-creator of Google Maps. Before founding Sierra, Clay spent 18 years at Google, where he most recently led Google Labs. Earlier, he started and led Google’s AR/VR effort, Project Starline, and Google Lens. Before that, Clay led the product and design teams for Google Workspace.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- GTM technical expert: Design and demo Sierra’s incredible Agent product, offering technical solutions to solve for our customer’s needs, and answering technical questions about our solutions.
- Cross-functional work: You will work directly with our Sales, Product and Agent Engineering teams to both drive our GTM function, as well as continuously improve our Agents through our customer-driven product development philosophy.
- Lead & support our customers: As a GTM and technical leader in the earliest conversations with our future customers, you will both understand and anticipate their needs to continue our industry-leading AI solution.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- 5-7+ years experience in Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering or customer-facing technical sales.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities. Professional fluency in both Spanish and English.
- Past experience in demo building, and presenting, and working with customers or clients in the GTM function.
- Experience in relationship-building with potential customers, including executives and technical leaders.
- Experience in leading the sales process with Enterprise customers.
- Ability to connect a prospect’s specific business problems and Sierra’s solutions and explain them to both a technical and non-technical audience
- Bachelor's Degree or above; bonus if in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
EVEN BETTER...
- AI-related experience (or experience in a similarly modern and highly technical industry).
- Experience translating code, technical logic and user requirements to product and engineering requirements.
OUR VALUES
- Trust: We build trust with our customers with our accountability, empathy, quality, and responsiveness. We build trust in AI by making it more accessible, safe, and useful. We build trust with each other by showing up for each other professionally and personally, creating an environment that enables all of us to do our best work.
- Customer Obsession: We deeply understand our customers’ business goals and relentlessly focus on driving outcomes, not just technical milestones. Everyone at the company knows and spends time with our customers. When our customer is having an issue, we drop everything and fix it.
- Craftsmanship: We get the details right, from the words on the page to the system architecture. We have good taste. When we notice something isn’t right, we take the time to fix it. We are proud of the products we produce. We continuously self-reflect to continuously self-improve.
- Intensity: We know we don’t have the luxury of patience. We play to win. We care about our product being the best, and when it isn’t, we fix it. When we fail, we talk about it openly and without blame so we succeed the next time.
- Family: We know that balance and intensity are compatible, and we model it in our actions and processes. We are the best technology company for parents. We support and respect each other and celebrate each other’s personal and professional achievements.

We encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't precisely match the job description. We strive to evaluate all applicants consistently without regard to race, color, religion, gender, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, pregnancy, gender expression or identity, sexual orientation, citizenship, or any other legally protected class.

About Vercel:
Vercel is the agentic infrastructure company, freeing people and agents to ship what's next. For more than a decade we've helped builders move from idea to production with speed, security, and exceptional developer experience.
Now we're scaling our products for both agents and people to ship and run software, built in the open and trusted by OpenAI, PayPal, Ramp, Supreme, and millions of developers worldwide.
About the role
We’re looking for a Senior Finance Manager, Sales to join our Finance team. You will be a key partner to Sales and RevOps leadership, helping shape metrics-driven decision making across Sales budget and headcount, commissions, SLG bookings, quota planning, capacity, and productivity. This role will have high cross-functional visibility and will be central to building the financial discipline, operating cadence, and scalable reporting needed to support Vercel’s next stage of growth.
What you'll do
Serve as the trusted Finance partner for the CRO by delivering actionable insights through forecasting, scenario analysis, business reviews, and resource allocation recommendations
Own Sales budget and headcount planning, including bottoms-up workforce models that connect hiring plans, ramp timing, productivity assumptions, commissions, and compensation costs to bookings and revenue goals
Support SLG bookings and quota planning by partnering with Sales and RevOps on quota capacity, ramp, attainment, coverage, territory design inputs, and productivity assumptions
Support commissions planning, forecasting, and reporting in partnership with Accounting, RevOps, and Sales leadership, including commission expense, accruals, plan changes, and performance insights
Lead Sales BvA reviews and operating cadences, translating financial results into clear variance narratives, risks, opportunities, and recommendations
Improve Sales Finance reporting and tooling by building scalable dashboards, templates, and processes that reduce manual work, improve forecast accuracy, and surface key risks earlier
What you need
Commercially sharp and analytically rigorous
– You understand how Sales and RevOps teams operate and can connect SLG bookings, quota planning, pipeline, capacity, attainment, productivity, commissions, headcount, and spend to the company’s financial plan.
Anti-bureaucracy, pro-speed
– You streamline workflows, remove drag, and make decisions with clarity. You believe a 3-bullet Slack post with a clear recommendation is better than a 20-slide deck.
Tech-forward operator
– You go beyond Excel. You use AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot) to automate, clean, and generate insights. You treat Finance like a product—always shipping improvements.
Detail-obsessed
– You know that a single error in quota capacity, ramp timing, commission logic, or start dates can swing the forecast by millions. You sweat the details so the CFO and Sales leaders don’t have to.
Strong cross-functional partner
– You can build trust with Sales leadership while maintaining financial discipline, communicating tradeoffs clearly, and driving decisions with data.
Benefits & Compensation:
Competitive compensation package, including equity.
Inclusive Healthcare Package.
Learn and Grow - we provide mentorship and send you to events that help you build your network and skills.

About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role
As Anthropic's Public Sector Sales Lead for France, you will be the face of Anthropic to the French State. This is a founding, zero-to-one role: there is no public sector team in France today, and you will build our strategy, our routes to market and our first strategic relationships from the ground up. Reporting to our EMEA South leadership, you will lead the adoption of safe, frontier AI across central government, starting with the largest ministries. You will work hand in hand with our Public Policy lead in Paris, because in few companies is policy as central to the mission as it is at Anthropic, and with Partnerships, Legal, Security and Product to put in place the commercial and compliance frameworks the State needs in order to work with us at scale.
This is a senior individual contributor role. We expect you to have run a public sector business and led teams, and to be energised by stepping back into a hands-on seat where you build it yourself and where the size of your team says nothing about the size of your scope. In the first year, success is measured less by a large number and more by putting Anthropic on the map with the French State: a clear strategy, the right foundations and our first strategic agreements.
Responsibilities
Define and own Anthropic's public sector go-to-market strategy for France: where we play first, how we win, and what we need to build to get there
Be the senior face of Anthropic to the French State, building trusted relationships with ministerial cabinets, senior officials and digital and technology leaders across the largest ministries, including defence, finance and justice
Own the full sales cycle on our first strategic public sector opportunities, from first engagement through procurement route, close, deployment and expansion
Work with Partnerships, Legal and Finance to put in place the routes to market the State needs, including resale and partner channels, framework agreements and central purchasing bodies such as UGAP
Partner day to day with our Public Policy lead in France so that commercial and policy engagement reinforce each other, and stay aligned with French and European AI strategy and regulation
Lead the conversation with customers on data sovereignty, security and compliance (for example SecNumCloud and the State's cloud doctrine), and work with Security, Legal and Product on how we meet those requirements
Prove value with customers alongside a shared Applied AI architect, cloud providers and systems integrators, doing much of the groundwork yourself in the early stages
Learn from and contribute to our UK and US public sector teams, bringing what works to France and sharing what you learn
Create the playbooks, references and operating rhythm that will let us scale a public sector team in France over time
You may be a good fit if you have
15+ years in enterprise technology sales, including significant time running a public sector business unit or leading sales teams that sell to French central government
The appetite to move from a leadership role into a hands-on senior individual contributor role with no team at the outset
Evidence that you thrive building from zero: a new market, a new business line or an early-stage company, where systems, processes and support were not yet in place
A track record of landing large, complex and genuinely transformative agreements with major ministries, as the person leading the deal
A deep, senior network across central government, and the credibility to engage at director and cabinet level as well as with technical teams
Practical command of French public procurement, including tenders, framework agreements, central purchasing bodies and partner or resale routes
Real expertise in data sovereignty, security and compliance requirements in the French State, and experience leading those conversations with customers
Experience of, or a clear aptitude for, working closely with public policy or government affairs colleagues
Ownership and resilience: you treat what is missing as something to build, and you bring colleagues with you to build it
The technical curiosity to learn our products in depth and hold credible conversations with both engineering leaders and senior officials
Fluent French and English, with excellent written and spoken communication in both
Willingness to go through French security clearance (habilitation) should specific accounts require it
A genuine commitment to safe and beneficial AI, and the ability to articulate why it matters for public institutions

We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team.

How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

Summary
We're a growing B2B SaaS company. We want an operator to build a team of high performers, especially in sales and marketing. This is not a traditional HR role.
PLEASE DON'T APPLY IF:
You haven't hired sales or marketing people at a B2B SaaS company.
Your main work has been policies, benefits, compliance or HR administration.
You wait for problems to come to you.
You've never personally run the exit of an underperformer.
WHAT YOU'LL OWN
Performance. Set clear, measurable standards for every role. Spot underperformers early, coach them fast, and exit them within 60–90 days if they don't improve. You will run and deliver terminations yourself, with the CEO signing off.
Hiring. Build a hiring engine for account executives, SDRs, marketers and their leaders. You'll track time-to-hire, ramp time and quota attainment.
Culture. Build a culture where top performers are rewarded publicly and everyone knows the bar.
Managers. Hold managers accountable for their teams, and back them when they make tough calls.
Initiative. Bring problems and fixes to the CEO before you're asked.
Requirements
YOU ARE
An operator first, with a background in sales, RevOps, recruiting or ops leadership at B2B SaaS companies.
Someone who talks in revenue per employee, quota attainment and regretted attrition, not "engagement."
High energy, fast-moving, and willing to push back on the CEO.
Available 15–25 hours a week, US-based, and open to going full-time.
HOW IT WORKS
Paid 30-day trial. We'll judge you by what you ship: scorecards, a sales hiring scorecard and a performance review cadence.
We'll convert to a longer engagement based on results.

About Flosum
Flosum builds a Salesforce native DevOps and release management platform. Enterprise teams use us to manage deployments, data migration, backup and compliance entirely inside Salesforce, without moving metadata or data outside the platform. We work with large, often highly regulated organisations that hold Salesforce to a serious standard.
We are scaling our commercial organisation across the US and Europe, and we are bringing on a group of independent recruiters to help us do it.
How you will work with us
You will meet with our CEO at least twice a week
You will join a weekly staff meeting where you can raise questions directly and get answers in the room
You will be briefed on what to look for, what to avoid, and where not to source from, rather than being handed a requisition and left alone
Performance is visible weekly. If placements are not working out, you will see that early and so will we
What you would do
Source and build pipeline for assigned sales, account management and marketing roles
Screen candidates against our criteria and present a qualified shortlist
Manage candidate communication and scheduling through to offer
Give us direct market feedback on compensation and availability in your region
Keep candidate records current in Workable
Requirements
What we are looking for
You recruit sales roles as your primary specialism. Marketing recruiting experience alongside it is valuable, but most of this work is sales
Capacity to commit 30+ hours per week on a consulting or contracting basis
An active candidate network in the United States or Europe
Comfortable working at pace. We move quickly on decisions and expect the same
We prefer to engage individual recruiters rather than agencies
Helpful, not required
Experience recruiting into the Salesforce ecosystem: ISVs, AppExchange partners or Salesforce consultancies
Familiarity with DevOps, release management or developer tooling as a category
Experience hiring across both US and European markets in a single engagement
