ABOUT RAMP
Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, embedded in the transaction flow of every dollar a business spends. We automate how over $200B in annualized spend flows in and out of 70,000+ companies: authorizing payments, flagging risk, categorizing spend, and closing books.
The problems are high-stakes, data-dense, and unforgiving.
We hire people with high agency and high urgency. We look for slope over intercept. We care less about where you trained and more about what you’ve built. At Ramp, everyone is a builder who owns problems end to end and makes consequential decisions that shape the outcome.
The median Ramp customer saves 5% and grows revenue 16% in their first year – far in excess of businesses operating without Ramp. We believe every ambitious company deserves the same.
If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it.

ABOUT DOCKER
Docker has been one of the most loved brands in developer tooling, trusted by more than 20 million monthly users and over 20 billion container image pulls. From solo founders to the world's largest companies, developers rely on Docker to build, share, and run their applications across our suite of products including Docker Desktop, Docker Hub, and Docker Scout.
We are a globally distributed, remote-first team building the tools that define how software gets built and delivered. As AI agents redefine software development, Docker is at the center of that shift, providing the sandboxed environments, verified images, and secure infrastructure that make autonomous workflows trustworthy by default.
_______________________________________________________________________
THE OPPORTUNITY
Docker is seeking a Senior Principal Engineer to serve as the technical visionary and architect for how software gets built, verified, and trusted.
Every day, millions of developers pull images, install dependencies, and ship builds to production. Each of those steps is a place where something can go wrong, or be made to go wrong. Compromised base images, malicious packages, tampered build steps, unsigned artifacts moving through pipelines nobody is watching. The industry calls this the software supply chain, and it has become one of the most consequential unsolved problems in software engineering.
This role sits in Docker and Ecosystems, the group that owns Docker’s most well known products and our emerging content and SDLC business. You will own the technical strategy for secure software delivery across all of it, defining what verifiable, tamper-resistant software delivery looks like at Docker's scale, then driving the architecture that makes it real for every developer and every enterprise customer using our products.
You will set multi-year technical direction, make architectural decisions that shape Docker's product portfolio, and work directly with the SVP of Engineering and executive team on strategy. You will not manage people. You will change what the industry considers table stakes.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
TECHNICAL VISION AND STRATEGY
- Lead multi-year technical vision for build security and supply chain across Docker Desktop, Hub, Hardened Images, Verified Publishing, and monetization platforms.
- Define and sequence "trusted by default" architecture for 20M developers.
- Partner with the SVP of Engineering to convert commercial strategy into multi-year technical roadmaps.
- Establish company-wide architectural principles and security standards.
- Identify high-leverage platform investments that enhance security across all Docker products.
- Proactively position architecture ahead of evolving supply chain threats and regulatory demands.
BUILD SECURITY ARCHITECTURE
Architect systems to detect and prevent build-process threats like compromised dependencies, malicious steps, tampered artifacts, and untrusted images.
- Design provenance and attestation infrastructure ensuring Docker artifacts carry verifiable build history.
- Define artifact signing, verification, and policy enforcement across local workflows and CI/CD pipelines.
- Architect SBOM generation, dependency analysis, and vulnerability intelligence for complete software visibility.
- Align with and help shape emerging supply chain security standards.
- Ensure security controls remain fast and unobtrusive so developers keep them enabled.
SDLC AND DEVELOPER WORKFLOW INTEGRATION
- Architect how Docker's security capabilities integrate across the full software development lifecycle, from local development through CI/CD to production deployment
- Design the interfaces and contracts that let Docker's tooling embed into the pipelines, registries, and platforms customers already run, rather than asking them to rebuild around us
- Define the developer experience for security tooling, where the secure path is the fast path and the default path
- Architect policy and enforcement models that satisfy enterprise security and compliance requirements without fragmenting the developer workflow
- Drive convergence of security capabilities across Docker products, replacing product-specific implementations with shared platform primitives
TECHNICAL EXCELLENCE AND INFLUENCE
- Work with leaders across engineering to drive strategy and execution
- Mentor and develop Staff and Principal engineers, raising the technical bar across the organization
- Represent Docker's security architecture externally through blog posts, conference talks, standards bodies, and technical community engagement
- Participate in executive-level discussions, providing architectural perspective on business decisions
- Take part in on-call rotation for your team, respond to incidents, debug production issues, and drive continuous improvement of system reliability
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- 12+ years of software engineering experience specializing in build security, software supply chain security, or SDLC tooling
- Deep understanding of build process threat models across dependencies, environments, artifacts, and pipelines, along with effective mitigations
- Architectural experience in artifact signing, attestations, SBOMs, dependency security, CI/CD security, base image trust, or vulnerability intelligence
- Practical knowledge of supply chain security frameworks and standards
- Expertise in API design, service architecture, and scalable system integration
- Proven record delivering large-scale distributed systems for millions of users and enterprise customers
- Experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and modern infrastructure
- Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
STRATEGIC AND BUSINESS IMPACT
- Proven track record creating strategic technical plans that enable revenue, expansion, or enterprise deals
- Experience converting business strategy into technical architectures and roadmaps
- Understanding of SaaS business models, enterprise sales, and how security impacts commercial outcomes
- Experience leading build-vs-buy decisions for core platform components
LEADERSHIP AND INFLUENCE
- Ability to lead large, cross-company technical initiatives across multiple engineering teams
- Experience partnering with VPs and executives to define and execute technical strategy
- Proven ability to influence technical direction and build consensus without direct authority
- Strong communication skills for presenting to executives and driving organization-wide alignment
- Experience mentoring senior engineers and developing technical leaders
ENTERPRISE CONTEXT
- Experience building products that serve enterprise customers with complex security and compliance requirements
- Knowledge of enterprise security requirements and compliance frameworks such as SOC 2 and ISO 27001, and their architectural implications
- Understanding of how enterprise security teams evaluate, procure, and operate tooling
PREFERRED
- Scale experience at a security, developer tools, or infrastructure software company
- Experience with containers (Docker, Kubernetes) or developer platforms
- Experience with complex enterprise billing, contracts, usage pricing, and revenue recognition
- Proven ability to migrate legacy systems without disrupting business operations
- Contributions to open-source security tools or supply chain security standards
- Recognized technical leader via speaking, publishing, or open-source work
- Advanced degree in CS, Engineering, or a related field
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
Security Posture
- Artifacts produced through Docker carry verifiable provenance by default, not by opt-in configuration
- Build-time threat classes are addressed architecturally rather than through detection after the fact
- Developers keep security controls enabled because the controls are fast and unobtrusive
Business Enablement
- Security and governance capabilities directly unblock enterprise revenue
- New product SKUs launch in weeks instead of months through the billing platform
- Usage-based billing supports monetization of new security and AI product lines
Platform Leverage
- Product teams ship enterprise-ready, secure-by-default features in under two weeks rather than months
- Shared security primitives replace fragmented per-product implementations
- Platform systems achieve 99.9%+ uptime for business-critical workflows
Organizational Impact
- Recognized across Docker as the definitive technical authority on build and supply chain security
- Multiple Staff and Principal engineers developed who can own major domains
- Docker's voice carries weight in the external supply chain security conversation
Docker considers visa sponsorship on a case-by-case basis based on business needs.

SENIOR PEOPLE & TALENT OPERATIONS PARTNER
⚡ This one's moving fast. We've already received a lot of interest. Applications and assessments close October 18, with interviews happening over the two weeks after that. Apply quickly to avoid disappointment!
📍 Where do we hire from? Almost everywhere. Check that your country appears on this page https://docs.google.com/document/d/1bzBZ38P6zt02s96S9OsF8MnM1tq1JccB-g75gcnKpPw/edit?usp=sharing. For this role, you'll have at least 4 hours daily overlap with your UK-based manager.
Hi there, I'm Olive Turon, Head of People & Culture at TestGorilla. I'm excited to share more about the Senior People & Talent Operations Partner role and our team.
ABOUT TESTGORILLA
At TestGorilla, we're on a mission to place 1 billion people in their dream jobs. To democratize opportunity, we're building the world's leading skills-based talent discovery platform - one that replaces reliance on resumes with scientific validation of what people can truly do.
Founded as a 100% remote company in 2020, our global team is united by high standards, a lot of heart, and a relentless drive to conquer new technological frontiers. We're all AI-fluent builders who care deeply about replacing bias with fairness.
After empowering thousands of companies to hire smarter and faster, we're now unlocking the next phase of our scale-up journey - where you'll play an instrumental role in creating a world where skills matter most!
ABOUT THE ROLE
As our Senior People & Talent Operations Partner, you'll own People Ops as a product: the systems, compliance, and self-serve workflows that let most of People & Culture run itself day to day, plus the tooling behind how we hire. You'll join a lean, two-person team, working directly with me, with proper and lasting ownership from day one.
Payroll, compliance, and HR systems across every (35, currently!) country we operate in are foundational elements of this role. Just as critically, you'll build and own the AI/automation and self-serve layer that keeps our People function lean, bringing a product mindset to everything you touch. Let’s face it: we’re a scale-up, so you’ll also need to be happy wearing other People hats when the moment requires.
We're looking for someone autonomous, opinionated and candid, who'll tell me when I've got it wrong. You'll be dealing with real people and real problems, so you'll need to stay empathic but boundaried, structured and organized even when the pace picks up.
I’m biased, but I think it’s a dream job: this is an HR role in an HRTech company changing the world of work for the better, we’ll have immense amounts of fun, there’s plenty of uncharted territory for you to make your own, and I’m committed to helping you to do the best work of your life.
A quick check: if you've never built objectively clever automations (not just used one someone else built), please don't apply. Automation is just that central to the job.
RESPONSIBILITIES
In this role, your responsibilities will include:
- Upholding TestGorilla's behaviors and fostering an inclusive, supportive culture.
- Designing, building and maintaining a smart, automated and AI-enabled people journey - from pre-boarding to off-boarding - that frees up capacity for bespoke, white-glove treatment where it matters
- Being the technical owner and orchestrator of our HR tech stack: evaluating and enhancing it, ensuring these tools are not siloed but unified and integrated.
- Owning the non-Finance side of payroll, invoicing, contract administration, and compliance end to end, across every country we operate in.
- Owning data privacy and recordkeeping, and the day-to-day relationship with our EOR vendor.
- Owning configuration and troubleshooting of our hiring tooling, so hiring managers can run their own searches independently.
- Owning the documentation that makes self-serve actually work in practice, ensuring that it’s structured in a way that is easily accessible to both humans and P&C AI agents.
- Working with me to maintain a clean line between what's self-serve and what needs a person. We do not aspire to automate our entire People journey here.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
We're looking for someone who:
- Is passionate about TestGorilla's mission to help one billion people find their dream jobs.
- Has excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Has built and owned sophisticated automations (Zapier, n8n, Make.com http://Make.com, and the like) as a core part of an integrated HR tech stack, not just used AI tools day to day. Arguably the most important thing on this list.
- Has managed payroll, compliance, or HR operations across multiple countries, ideally through an Employer of Record or a mix of EOR and direct entities.
- Has deep, hands-on HRIS experience. HiBob experience is a big plus, and so is experience assessing or migrating HR systems.
- Brings a product mindset: builds for the people who use them (employees and managers), listens to their feedback, and iterates rather than building in isolation.
- Thrives in a high-autonomy, async-first, remote-only environment, and has worked in these kinds of teams and working cultures before.
- Marries operational rigor with genuine empathy and a real interest in people. You'll be dealing directly with team members, sometimes on sensitive matters.
- Is opinionated and candid, with excellent feedback and stakeholder management skills.
Most people in this role will have acquired these skills over five years of relevant experience. That being said, we care far more about what you've owned, your impact and how you've progressed, than the exact number of years.
We seek diversity and encourage applications from everyone, even if your experience doesn't exactly match the description. Studies show that women and underrepresented groups can be hesitant to apply unless they meet every requirement - let's buck that trend!
BONUS SKILLS
While these skills aren't a requirement, we'd be very interested to hear from you if you have any of the following:
- Experience with an ATS or hiring platform such as Ashby, Greenhouse, or Lever.
- Experience with an EOR provider such as Remote, Deel, or Oyster.
- HRIS implementation or migration project experience.

We’re in a defining moment of an incredible journey. Come and build with us.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Your goal will be to build DACH into n8n's most predictable Enterprise sales region - developing a team of high-performing Enterprise AEs, instilling forecast and pipeline discipline, and creating a repeatable operating model that wins complex, multi-stakeholder deals
To make that happen, you'll be hands-on in coaching, deal inspection, and team development day-to-day, while staying close enough to strategic deals and customer executives to raise the bar on how we qualify, forecast, and win.
What you’ll be doing
DEVELOPING A HIGH-PERFORMING, PREDICTABLE DACH TEAM
- Coach and develop a team of Enterprise AEs through structured 1:1s, field coaching, and deal reviews – raising both the floor and the ceiling on individual performance
- Build a rigorous forecasting and pipeline management cadence that makes DACH's numbers predictable quarter over quarter, not dependent on late-quarter heroics
- Create a repeatable operating model – clear playbooks, MEDDIC/MEDDPICC-based deal inspection, and coaching rhythms – DACH's execution shouldn’t rely on you personally driving every strategic deal
- Hire, onboard, and scale the team over time, establishing career paths and succession plans as the region grows
SETTING THE STRATEGY FOR THE DACH TERRITORY
- Prioritize and run the DACH Enterprise territory with focus – balancing new logo pursuits with expansion plays where community signals are strong
- Set the strategy for the team's most complex enterprise cycles, from discovery to close, staying close enough to coach without taking the pen
- Elevate sales methodology adoption (MEDDIC/MEDDPICC), ensuring meticulous qualification, mutual action plans, and disciplined inspection of technical + business wins
BUILDING A STRATEGIC, MULTI-THREADED SELLING MOTION
- Build a strategic selling culture that shifts the team from “running opportunities” to multi-threaded, value-led enterprise execution
- Orchestrate executive engagement across DACH accounts – aligning economic buyers, champions, and technical evaluators to keep momentum and unblock deals
- Run high-quality deal reviews and QBRs that sharpen strategy, elevate coaching moments, and improve win rates, cycle time, and forecast accuracy
PARTNERING ACROSS THE BUSINESS
- Collaborate cross-functionally (Solutions Engineering, Customer Success, Marketing, RevOps, Product) to refine messaging for technical buyers, strengthen the enterprise playbook, and remove friction in the sales process
REQUIREMENTS
MUST HAVES
- 🏆 Enterprise sales leadership: 5+ years in frontline sales management, leading ICs through complex, multi-threaded enterprise deals
- 🔎 MEDDIC/MEDDPICC mastery: Deep, practical command of MEDDIC/MEDDPICC and a track record coaching teams to adopt it with real inspection
- 📈 Forecast & pipeline rigor: Track record running a disciplined forecasting and pipeline management cadence that makes revenue predictable, not reactive
- 🧠 Strategic deal management: You’re fluent in qualification, mutual action plans, champion building, and executive alignment in longer-cycle deals
- 🎙️ Executive presence: You confidently engage senior stakeholders, run tight meetings, and set a high bar for clarity, urgency, and outcomes
- 🧑🏫 Coaching & talent development: You level up AEs through structured coaching, field observation, and actionable feedback
- 🧩 Multi-stakeholder navigation: You’re skilled at aligning technical and economic buyers, de-escalating conflict, and maintaining deal momentum
- 🇩🇪 DE location: You’re based in Germany and happy being on-site with customers
- 🔧 Technical-buyer credibility: Experience selling into technical stakeholders and navigating evaluation-heavy sales motions
NICE-TO-HAVES
- 🖥️ Open-source / PLG experience: You understand how community and bottoms-up adoption influence enterprise outcomes and how to partner with that motion
- 🌉 Developer / infra SaaS background: Experience in DevOps, SecOps, IT Ops, data, infrastructure, or adjacent categories
- 💡 Scrappy startup mindset: You’ve scaled in environments where playbooks are evolving and you enjoy building structure without slowing teams down
- 📊 Operational excellence: Strong instincts for clean forecasting, pipeline hygiene, and turning data into coaching and better execution

We’re in a defining moment of an incredible journey. Come and build with us.
🎯 Your main goal will be to turn n8n's pricing and packaging into a deliberate, data-informed growth lever - one that scales revenue and adoption across our entire go-to-market, from our 1.5 million-strong community to global Enterprise accounts.
To do so, here's what you'll own:
BUILD THE ANALYTICAL FOUNDATION FOR PRICING
- Build and own the model connecting unit economics, agent run cost, willingness-to-pay, gross margin, and customer value.
- Maintain competitive and market intelligence so our pricing keeps pace with a category that's shifting fast.
- Run pricing experiments and turn the results into documented, reusable learnings.
DESIGN OUR PRICING & PACKAGING ARCHITECTURE
- Shape plan design and packaging across our community, self-serve, and Enterprise tiers, plus add-ons like our startup and charity plans.
- Design pricing for new SKUs and consumption-based models as our product and cost-to-serve evolve around AI Assistant and n8n Connect.
- Build packaging frameworks and decision tools that product teams use directly to launch new features.
DRIVE AND ROLL OUT PRICING DECISIONS
- Lead cross-functional pricing decision-making and secure buy-in across Product, Sales, Marketing, Finance, RevOps, and Data.
- Own the rollout of major pricing changes end-to-end, from decision to launch to measured impact.
- Build and own our pricing frameworks: list pricing, discount guardrails, decision rubrics, grandfathering rules, and usage-based billing decisions.
Requirements
Must-have
- 📈 Pricing leadership in B2B SaaS: You have 6+ years in pricing, monetisation, or commercial strategy, including at least one full cycle leading a major pricing model transition — subscription to consumption, seat-based to usage-based, or a platform repricing.
- ⚡ Hands-on with modern pricing models: You've personally designed and rolled out consumption-based, outcome-based, or AI-native pricing at a company past $100M ARR.
- 🔀 Both self-serve and Enterprise motions: You've owned pricing on both sides of the funnel — self-serve/PLG (activation, conversion, tier design, funnel experimentation) and Enterprise, sales-led (packaging for large accounts, deal economics, discount governance). n8n monetises both, so fluency in one motion only isn't enough.
- 🧮 Deep analytical rigour: You build the financial model yourself and reason fluently about unit economics, cost-to-serve, gross margin, willingness-to-pay, and elasticity.
- 🔌 Billing fluency, technical and operational: You understand event metering, rating, entitlements, proration, overage, and revenue recognition well enough to design pricing that's actually operable — and you've partnered with a Billing function on invoicing, dunning, true-ups, and disputes.
- 🛠️ Empathy for technical users and buyers: You understand where, how, and why developers and technical buyers assign value across a product experience.
- 🧩 Frameworks over bottlenecks: You've built packaging frameworks and decision tools that product teams use independently, rather than routing every pricing decision through you.
- 🤝 Cross-functional influence: You bring Product, Finance, Sales, Customer Success, Engineering, and Billing into alignment on contentious commercial decisions.
- 🧭 Motivated by scope, not headcount: You're energised by owning a global, high-stakes topic as an individual contributor, with analytical support from Data and RevOps and rollout support from Program Management.
Nice-to-have
- 🎓 Formal pricing training: You've been trained at Simon-Kucher or the pricing practice of another consultancy, and you bring that rigour with you.
- 🧑💻 Developer tools experience: You've priced products sold to engineers and technical teams.
- 🌍 Open source or freemium background: You know how to design pricing that converts a free community into paying customers without breaking trust.
WHY JOIN US?
At n8n, pricing won't be an afterthought argued about in the margins of someone else's roadmap - it'll be your function to build. You'll be our first dedicated pricing hire, which means low-hanging fruit everywhere and real scope to shape how a $5.2bn company monetises across community, self-serve, and Enterprise, in 100+ countries and across both cloud and self-hosted. You'll work directly with leaders in Product, Sales, Finance, and RevOps, and you'll see your decisions land in our ARR in months, not years. You'll join a supportive, remote-first team that values autonomy, experimentation, and continuous learning.
Sound like a challenge you're excited to take on?
