We’re bringing that mission to life with HMND‑01 - our rapidly developed humanoid platform being deployed in real industrial environments - and we’re growing the team to take it even further.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As our Inventory Specialist, you'll make sure our engineers always have the right parts, in the right place, at the right time. You will run day-to-day receiving, storage, stock control, cycle counting and kitting for the hardware side of a small, fast-moving team of around 40 engineers building cutting-edge humanoid robots. site, keeping material flowing accurately into prototype builds. This is a senior individual-contributor role: we need someone competent and self-directed who can run the site’s stores with minimal supervision.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Boston Site Focus
- Be the first dedicated hands-on warehouse resource in Boston, setting up and organising the stores area, location structure and labelling, and supporting the site’s prototype builds with accurate receiving, storage and kitting.
- Get the site’s prototype material ready for builds, working with the SCM Lead Boston and the local Senior Buyer on inbound material and priorities, including long lead-time items, so shortages are flagged early.

- Maintain location structure, labelling and storage layout, and apply 5S principles.
- Support the site asset register by tagging, locating and verifying tools, fixtures and equipment held in stores, and keeping custody and location records up to date. Ownership of the master asset list sits outside this role.
- Suggest and help implement practical improvements to receiving, storage, kitting and counting processes, and follow global warehouse and inventory SOPs.
- Cover the site’s warehouse needs independently, and escalate issues that need SCM Lead or global WILP support in good time.
Expectations
- Work with a high degree of autonomy, setting your own daily priorities with minimal supervision.
- Act as the site’s subject-matter expert for receiving, stock control and kitting, and a go-to person for colleagues in engineering, production and procurement.
- Train, coach and support colleagues and temporary or contract staff on warehouse processes and inventory tracking.
- Help build, document and improve the site’s warehouse processes as the team grows.

Here at Humanoid, we believe in a future where robots amplify human potential. That’s why we’ve set out on a mission to build the world’s most capable, commercially-scalable, and safe humanoid robots. We’re bringing that mission to life with HMND‑01 - our rapidly developed humanoid platform being deployed in real industrial environments - and we’re growing the team to take it even further.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Scaling humanoid robots from hundreds to tens of thousands of units takes several hundred million dollars of new capital, and much of it will come from partners, not just funds. Our biggest investors are also our supplier, manufacturer and customer. That makes capital formation and strategic partnerships one job.
You will be the senior operator who connects them. You will lead our next equity rounds alongside the CFO, open doors to the strategic and institutional investors who can carry Humanoid to a public exit, and turn partnerships with industrial, compute and supply-chain leaders into capital, contracts and access. Few roles offer this mix of venture, growth equity, corporate development and deal-making at a company of this ambition.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Capital formation (with the CFO and CBO)
1. Co-lead equity rounds from Series B onward: investor targeting, sequencing, process management, term sheet negotiation and closing.
2. Build and run a single investor CRM and pipeline across VC, growth equity, private equity, crossover funds, sovereign wealth, family offices and corporate venture arms.
3. Cultivate a core group of long-term foundational investors ahead of each round, with a regular cadence of updates and meetings.
4. Shape the equity story with the CFO and CEO: deck, data room, model narrative and answers to diligence.
5. Structure non-dilutive and hybrid capital with the CFO, including strategic investments, venture debt, equipment and fleet financing for RaaS, and customer-funded capacity.
6. Help lay the groundwork for a public exit: investor base quality, crossover readiness and relationships with banks and long- only funds.
Strategic partnerships (with the CFO and CBO)
1. Originate, structure and close strategic alliances with industrial OEMs, logistics operators, compute and AI platforms, and supply-chain partners.
2. Design deal structures that combine commercial and capital terms: strategic equity, joint ventures, co-development, volume commitments, compute-for-equity and regional partnerships.
3. Own the partner relationship at executive level after signing, so each alliance delivers its commercial, technical and capital commitments.
4. Map the strategic landscape: who is investing in robotics and embodied AI, how, and where Humanoid fits.
Across both
1. Run one pipeline that links investor conversations to partnership opportunities, avoiding conflicts with competitor holdings.
2. Gate access to the CEO and founders so leadership time goes to the highest-value conversations.
3. Report pipeline, forecast and deal status to the CFO, CBO and board.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
You have sat on both sides of the table: investing at a top-tier venture firm, then raising capital and closing strategic deals for a high-growth company.
Required
- Top-tier VC experience: 4+ years as an investor (Principal, Partner or equivalent) at a leading venture or growth firm, ideally with exposure to deep tech, robotics, AI or industrial technology.
- Fundraising track record across all three capital sources: led or co-led raises from venture capital, private equity or growth equity, and strategic or corporate investors. Be ready to walk us through specific rounds, sizes, investors and your role.
- Strong relationships at strategic partners: trusted, senior-level contacts at industrial OEMs, automotive and manufacturing groups, logistics operators, semiconductor and compute companies, or their corporate venture arms.
- Deal structuring: hands-on negotiation of term sheets, strategic investments, joint ventures or commercial agreements with capital attached.

WHAT WE OFFER
- Competitive equity: stock options with meaningful upside as we scale.
- 30+ paid days off, including 23 days of annual leave, all UK bank holidays, and additional company closure days (including Christmas–New Year shutdown).
- Private healthcare, including virtual and in-person care.
- Pension scheme with 8% total contribution (5% employee, 3% employer) on full earnings.
- Free daily breakfast, catered lunch, and snacks in-office.
- Work at the frontier - collaborate daily with world-class engineers, researchers, and product experts building the next generation of AI and humanoid robotics.

We're hiring a Strategic Finance lead to be the CFO's right hand on the decisions that shape Humanoid's path from pilots to mass production and, ultimately, the public markets. You'll own the models behind how we price, build, fund and grow, and turn them into clear recommendations for the leadership team and the board.
Reports to: Chief Financial Officer Location: London (One Triton Square, Regent's Place), with travel to our labs in Boston, San Diego and Vancouver and to customer and manufacturing sites.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Unit economics
- Build and own the unit economics model per robot: BOM, landed cost, deployment,
service, uptime and cost per effective hour versus human labour.
- Track the cost-down path across product generations and tie engineering and supply-
chain decisions to margin impact.
- Model customer payback and lifetime value by segment, use case and contract
structure.
Pricing and packaging
- Design pricing for Robot-as-a-Service (RaaS) and outright purchase, including volume
tiers, multi-year step-downs, service levels and software add-ons.
- Build deal models for large enterprise contracts and support commercial teams
through negotiation.
- Partner with Legal and Accounting on revenue recognition implications of contract
structures (e.g. lease versus service).
M&A and strategic transactions
- Run financial analysis on acquisitions, joint ventures, strategic partnerships and
supplier investments: valuation, synergies, structuring and accretion/dilution.
- Support diligence, build board materials and track post-deal performance against the
case.
Debt and capital modeling
- Model venture debt, term loans, equipment and fleet financing, and working-capital
facilities, including covenants, amortisation and headroom.
- Build the integrated capital plan linking equity rounds, debt and runway, and support
fundraising with investor-grade models and data rooms.
Budgeting and forecasting
- Own the annual budget and rolling forecast, with a driver-based, three-statement
model that ties production ramp, headcount, capex and cash.
- Run monthly business reviews with budget owners, explain variances and keep burn
and runway visible to leadership and the board.
- Lead scenario planning on production volumes, component costs, pricing and timing of
capital.
Manufacturing finance
- Partner with Operations, Supply Chain and our contract manufacturers on capacity
plans, capex, inventory, standard costing and supplier terms.
- Build make-versus-buy, should-cost and capacity investment cases as we scale toward
mass production
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 7+ years in strategic finance, FP&A, corporate development or investment banking,
with at least 3 years in a high-growth, venture-backed company.
- Hands-on experience scaling a startup through rapid growth: you've built finance
processes from scratch while the business doubled around you.
- Manufacturing or hardware experience: you understand BOMs, standard costing,
capex, inventory and contract manufacturing, ideally in robotics, automotive, EV,
aerospace or industrial technology.
- Proven track record on unit economics and pricing, including recurring or usage-based
models.
- Direct experience with M&A or strategic transaction analysis, from valuation through
to board approval.
- Strong debt modeling: you've modeled and helped negotiate venture debt, term loans
or asset-backed facilities, including covenants.
- Ownership of budgeting and forecasting cycles, with a driver-based three-statement
model you built yourself.
- Expert Excel / Google Sheets modeling; comfort with ERP and planning tools.
- Clear communicator who turns complex analysis into crisp recommendations for
founders, boards and investors.
- Thrives at high pace and with ambiguity: you move fast, prioritise ruthlessly and stay
accurate under pressure
- Real ownership - direct access to founding leadership, meaningful input on product direction, and the ability to drive key initiatives from day one.
