ABOUT SENTRY
Software runs the world and the pace is faster than ever. Sentry helps developers fix errors and performance issues before users notice, so teams can spend less time firefighting and more time building.
Trusted by 200,000+ organizations, Sentry is today’s application monitoring standard and our team is building its AI-native future.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Security Team is responsible for securing all things Sentry: our customers, our code, and everything in between. We are a small but growing team with broad scope, high trust, and the autonomy to tackle hard security problems with creativity and an engineering mindset. We work at a company with a strong developer culture, building a product that millions of developers genuinely love and rely on. That context shapes everything about how we operate.
As a Security Engineer on this team, you'll work across application and platform security domains. You'll contribute to the practices that keep Sentry secure as we grow: security reviews, threat modeling, vulnerability management, and embedding secure coding practices into an engineering organization that cares about doing things right. You'll partner closely with product and engineering teams to influence how features are designed and built from the start. You will work as a technical collaborator who helps make the secure path the obvious one. As Sentry expands our agentic product capabilities and development practices, you'll also find yourself at the frontier of a new set of security challenges.
IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL
- Support and help mature Sentry's security review program. From secure code review, to architecture review, and threat modeling. You'll help build the processes, tooling, and culture which make security a natural part of how we ship and operate.
- Contribute to mature vulnerability management practices. Intake, triage, prioritization, remediation tracking, and support of our bug bounty and responsible disclosure program.
- Advocate for secure-by-design principles. Partner with engineering and product teams to embed security early in the development lifecycle and integrate security tooling into developer and CI/CD workflows.
- Validate and reproduce application and infrastructure security findings. Scanning, manual testing, and supporting penetration testing and vulnerability validation across Sentry's application, SDKs and cloud-based platform.
- Help evaluate and respond to emerging threats relevant to application security at Sentry. We build and operate a complex application and cloud environment, including the novel attack surface introduced by Sentry's agentic product features and AI-assisted engineering practices.
YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU
- Enjoy operating cross-functionally, building relationships, and influencing with technical expertise as you grow into shaping how security gets done across a fast-moving engineering organization.
- Get excited when something new lands on your desk, be it an interesting vulnerability, a sweet exploit, a novel agentic architecture, an unfamiliar cloud primitive, or a bug class you haven't seen before.
- Love working in a developer-forward culture where your colleagues are builders who care deeply about code quality and customer satisfaction.
- Reach for automation first, you'd rather build a scalable, systematic solution to a security problem than solve it manually a hundred times.
- Thrive with ownership and want more of it, you prefer to drive work end-to-end, and you're energized by the autonomy — and the mentorship — that comes with being on a small, high-trust team.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 2-5 years of industry experience designing, building, or securing complex applications and cloud systems
- Degree in Computer Science or a related field, equivalent training, or professional experience
- Hands-on experience with several of the following: security reviews, SDLC practices, secure CI/CD, architecture reviews, threat modeling, vulnerability management, bug bounty and responsible disclosure programs
- Experienced and comfortable programming in at least one language, and able to read and reason about code in Python, Typescript, Go, or Rust
- Familiarity with using distributed cloud technology (AWS, GCP, Azure, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, etc.) and an understanding of how those technologies are secured (cloud networking, IAM, etc.)
- A collaborative approach to problem solving paired with strong written and verbal communication
Not sure if you meet 100% of the qualifications? We encourage you to apply anyway. We're interested in people are excited about this opportunity and eager to grow.

WHO WE ARE
Notion is the collaborative AI workspace where teams and agents think together https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vkpYpWfEK5s. We're building one place where your knowledge, projects, meetings, and AI tools live side by side, so work is faster, clearer, and less fragmented. Millions of individuals, small teams, and large companies run their work on Notion.
Notinos (our employees) are customer zero in bringing this future of work to life. We care about craft, building things that last, and the belief that great work is still fundamentally human. Our goal isn’t to ship the next feature. Each and every team of Notinos is working to set the standard for how humans work together in the AI era. From building a business’s system of record to making and managing AI agents to automating away the busy work, we care deeply about giving our customers more time for their life’s work.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
As a Forward Deployed Architect on Notion’s Services team, you will help customers turn AI ambition into operational reality and unlock the full potential of our platform. You will partner directly with customers to design, build, and launch AI-native workflows that drive adoption, usage, and measurable business outcomes.
This role sits at the center of Notion’s workflow-led GTM motion. You will partner directly with customers to understand their business goals, operating processes, technical environment, governance needs, and adoption barriers, then translate that context into scalable Notion architectures that drive measurable value.
You will be hands-on across discovery, solution design, workspace architecture, workflow build, AI implementation, launch planning, adoption and handoff. You will work deeply with customers to define what Notion should own, where it should integrate with existing systems, and how Notion can become a durable operating layer for their teams.
The best candidates combine strong consultative discovery, systems thinking, technical fluency, AI-native workflow design, implementation judgment and exceptional customer presence. You should be comfortable reasoning through technical tradeoffs, designing scalable solutions, and partnering closely with Forward Deployed Engineering when deeper engineering support is required.
This role can be based in either San Francisco or New York City. We work from our offices on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays (our Anchor Days) because we do our best thinking and building together in person. We’re looking for someone who’s excited to work alongside the team during those days.
WHAT YOU'LL ACHIEVE:
- Partner with customers on forward deployed engagements from discovery through launch, translating business goals and workflow requirements into scalable clear solution design and Notion solutions that drive durable adoption.
- Design scalable Notion architectures that translate customer workflows, permission and governance needs, integrations and AI use cases into optimal workspaces that are easy to adopt, manage and scale.
- Design and deploy AI-native workflows using Notion AI, custom agents, automations, Workers, Developer Platform capabilities and adjacent AI tools, partnering with Forward Deployed Engineering when advanced technical depth is needed for migrations, API constraints, security architecture or frontier implementation.
- Help customers navigate change by designing adoption plans, enablement materials and launch approaches that drive sustained usage and measurable business value.
- Identify repeatable patterns across customer engagements and convert them into packaged solutions, templates, reference architectures, run books, enablement assets and product feedback.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to customers, simplifying complex technical requirements, making practical tradeoff recommendations and helping stakeholders align around a clear implementation path.
- Partner cross-functionally with GTM, Product, Engineering, PMM, Services leadership and the partner ecosystem to scale what works beyond individual customer engagements.
- Create clear implementation plans, handoff materials and success measures that align customers and internal teams on the path to value.
SKILLS YOU'LL NEED TO BRING:
- 5+ years of experience in tech services/consulting, solutions architecture, implementation, customer engineering, or a similar customer-facing role.
- Proven ability to translate ambiguous customer goals into clear workflows, implementation plans, solution architectures, and measurable success criteria.
- Strong consultative discovery skills, including the ability to map current-state workflows, identify customer pain, understand operating models, surface technical constraints, and define practical future-state solutions.
- Hands-on AI builder mindset, with experience using AI tools to design, prototype, automate, or improve real business workflows.
- Technical fluency with APIs, integrations, data models, automation, enterprise systems, developer workflows and implementation tradeoffs. You do not need to write production code but you should be able to reason through technical constraints and troubleshoot effectively.
- Strong experience delivering implementations that drive adoption, change management and long-term customer value.
- Strong project and engagement management skills, including ownership of scope, timeline, deliverables, stakeholder alignment, risks, decisions, dependencies and launch readiness.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for business, technical, and executive audiences.
- Strong executive presence and customer judgment, with the ability to build trust, frame tradeoffs clearly, and move ambiguous decisions forward.
- Bias toward action, high learning velocity, and comfort building in fast-changing AI-native product environments.
NICE TO HAVES:
- Experience designing or deploying Agents, automations or AI-powered workflows with Customers.
- Experience with Notion, APIs, MCPs, Workers, coding agents or developer platform workflows.
- Experience developing discovery methodologies, reusable delivery assets, internal tooling, packaged services or reference architectures from the ground up.
- Experience partnering with Product and Engineering teams to turn field learnings into roadmap signal, reusable architecture patterns or scalable product improvements.
- Previous experience in a fast-paced, high-growth technology environment.

A NOTE ON AI
You don’t need deep AI expertise for every role, but we do expect every Notino to be intellectually curious, drawn to tinkering and discovery, and excited to use AI as a real collaborator in their work. For some roles, AI fluency is a core requirement — when that’s the case, we'll say so explicitly in the qualifications. People who thrive here don’t treat AI as a novelty. They use it to think better, and make their work easier for others to build on.

Synthesia is the world’s leading AI video platform for business, used by over 90% of the Fortune 100. Founded in 2017, the company is headquartered in London, with offices and teams across Europe and the US.
As AI continues to shape the way we live and work, Synthesia develops products to enhance visual communication and enterprise skill development, helping people work better and stay at the center of successful organizations.
Following our recent Series E funding round, where we raised $200 million, our valuation stands at $4 billion. Our total funding exceeds $530 million from premier investors including Accel, NVentures (Nvidia's VC arm), Kleiner Perkins, GV, and Evantic Capital, alongside the founders and operators of Stripe, Datadog, Miro, and Webflow.
THE ROLE
Synthesia is the #1 Enterprise AI video generation since 2016, and today we work with 90% of the Fortune 100. Our core product, Studio, lets anyone turn a script into a polished video with an AI avatar, no camera or crew required.
Now we're entering a new chapter, and the API is at the center of it. Our Interactive Avatar API lets any company build real-time, conversational avatars directly into their own products.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
You're the first product marketing hire dedicated to the API, and you'll build the GTM motion from scratch.
There's no playbook here yet. You'll set the foundational positioning, write the developer-facing messaging, stand up the launch process, and figure out how we reach developers and win them.
WE’D LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU HAVE
- You get energy from building from scratch, and have a hacker mentality.
- You use gen AI video tools and created content with them. You're in every new model the week it drops.
- You've built with APIs yourself: called endpoints, read the code samples, wired up a webhook, shipped something small. You know how developers actually integrate and ship.
- You've done product marketing, growth, or developer marketing for enterprise audiences.
- You're an excellent communicator, written and spoken. You have experience managing senior stakeholders and complex program management.
COMPENSATION
The base salary range for this position is £100,000 - £130,000.
We also offer equity and a comprehensive benefits package. Individual compensation will depend on experience, skills, and location.

Now we're entering a new chapter. We're making those avatars interactive. Instead of watching a video, people can have a real conversation with one: ask it questions, practice a sales pitch, run through a training scenario, get answers back in real time.
That shift needs a story, and you own it. As Head of Product Marketing, you lead the function that decides how the whole product line is positioned, messaged, and launched. Video, interactive avatars, the API, and whatever comes next.
You'll set the platform narrative and keep it sharp as the product evolves. You'll run launches across the portfolio, own competitive strategy and buyer research, and set the messaging that sales, web, and campaigns all run on.
You'll lead a team of five PMMs, hire into it, and raise the bar for what good looks like.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- You build and deploy agents. You've automated real parts of your own PMM work with them, whether that's competitive tracking, research synthesis, or launch ops.
- You've led a portfolio of products and built or grown the team behind it.
- You set positioning and narrative at the company level, the top-line story everything else ladders up to.
- You're an excellent communicator, written and spoken. Your have experience managing senior stakeholders and complex program management.
- You partner closely sales enablement, and can support complex enterprise GTM motions.

ABOUT RAMP
Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, embedded in the transaction flow of every dollar a business spends. We automate how over $275B in annualized spend flows in and out of 85,000+ companies: authorizing payments, flagging risk, categorizing spend, and closing books.
The problems are high-stakes, data-dense, and unforgiving.
We hire people with high agency and high urgency. We look for slope over intercept. We care less about where you trained and more about what you’ve built. At Ramp, everyone is a builder who owns problems end to end and makes consequential decisions that shape the outcome.
The median Ramp customer saves 7.5% and grows revenue 16% in their first year – far in excess of businesses operating without Ramp. We believe every ambitious company deserves the same.
If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Ramp builds software that moves real money, from bill payments and corporate cards to reimbursements, accounting integrations, and travel. Our customers rely on us to keep their operations running: invoices get paid, books get closed, and finance leaders can trust the data behind every decision.
In this role, you will be the person who spots where customers are getting stuck and drives issues to a clear resolution. You will learn a complex product deeply enough to troubleshoot across payments, bank linking, accounting syncs, and card programs, then partner with teams across Engineering, Risk, Product, and Partnerships to get problems solved. This is not script-based support. You will triage, investigate, and make high-signal judgment calls throughout the day.
You will thrive in this role if you are a systems thinker and deeply customer obsessed. Support is the baseline. How you think about improving processes, tools, and outcomes is what sets you apart.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Be the voice of Ramp's Customer Support. You'll spend your day engaging with customers, primarily via live calls, email, and chat.
- Diagnose across a broad product surface. Ramp isn't one product — it's payments, cards, travel, accounting integrations, and more. You'll need to understand how they connect and where they break.
- Operate with an ownership mindset, managing escalations end-to-end. You take full accountability for every ticket you handle. When an issue crosses team boundaries — risk, engineering, product, partnerships — you route it correctly, follow up, and make sure the customer isn't left waiting. You'll work across Zendesk, internal tooling, and Slack-based escalation workflows.
- Build and shape AI tools, not just use them. Ramp is building AI into CX operations. You'll use AI-powered research tools and proprietary tools like Glass daily, provide direct feedback on what's working, and play an active role in how these tools evolve. You're not just a user — you're a builder. We are all builders at Ramp.
- Ship improvements, not just flag them. When you notice a process gap, a missing SOP, or a knowledge base article that's sending associates down the wrong path, you don't just raise it — you have the autonomy to roll up your sleeves and fix it. Leverage AI to solve problems, build automations, and improve the systems around you. The best people in this role make the whole team better.
- Communicate with precision and empathy. Our customers are financially sophisticated. You need to explain what's happening, what you're doing about it, and what they should expect — clearly and without filler.
WHAT YOU NEED
- You're a systems thinker: you don't just solve the ticket in front of you, you ask why the problem exists and how to prevent it from happening again.
- You actively use AI tools — Claude, Notion AI, research and workflow tools — and can demonstrate how you've applied them to get real work done. This is a hard requirement.
- You're fast-moving while holding yourself to a high bar for execution: you balance speed, accuracy, and thoroughness in every interaction.
- You can hold a technical conversation about how systems connect (APIs, bank integrations, accounting software) even if you're not writing code.
- You manage competing priorities without dropping things. When you have 15 open issues across 4 internal teams, nothing falls through.
- You write clearly and concisely. You can explain a payment reconciliation issue to a CFO without jargon.
- You're comfortable on the phone. Many interactions start there.
- You have a demonstrated track record of exceeding key performance standards, including CSAT, QA, and speed-of-service metrics.
NICE TO HAVES
- Experience building workflows or automations using AI tools, not just prompting
- Familiarity with accounting workflows (AP/AR, GL, reconciliation) or ERP integrations (NetSuite, QuickBooks, Sage)
- Background in payments infrastructure (ACH, wire transfers, card networks)
- Track record of working somewhere that shipped product fast and expected CX to keep up
WHY BE A CX ASSOCIATE AT RAMP
- Cross-functional exposure from day one. You work directly with Product, Engineering, and GTM teams — not siloed into a support queue.
- AI tools and unlimited access. Unlimited tokens, proprietary AI tools like Glass, and a culture that expects you to use them to move faster and build smarter.
- Career growth that you own. Grow within CX, explore other functions internally, or carve out a path that doesn't exist yet. If you're invested, we're invested.
- Culture that's different from a call center. Team events, in-person offsites, and a genuine commitment to building a team people want to be part of.

-Advance ongoing modernization efforts, deepening adoption of event-driven architectures and cloud-native technologies
-Drive adoption of best practices in data governance, observability, and performance tuning for data workloads
-Embed data quality in processing pipelines by defining schema contracts, implementing transformation tests and data assertions, enforcing backward-compatible schema evolution, and automating checks for freshness, completeness, and accuracy across batch and streaming paths before production deployment
-Establish robust observability for data pipelines by implementing metrics, logging, and distributed tracing for streaming jobs, defining SLAs and SLOs for latency and throughput, and integrating alerting and dashboards to enable proactive monitoring and rapid incident response
-Foster a culture of quality through peer reviews, providing constructive feedback and seeking input on your own work

About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the Role
Anthropic's billing surface is growing fast. New products, new regions, and new channels all need to be metered, priced, invoiced, and reconciled, and the work to make that happen crosses billing engineering, GTM systems, finance, and support teams. Today much of it runs on escalations rather than programs.
We're hiring a Technical Program Manager to own the cross-functional programs in this space. You'll partner closely with billing engineering, GTM systems, finance and treasury, product, and support, and give leadership a single clear view of priorities, dependencies, and progress.
Responsibilities
Drive the cross-team programs that build billing platform foundations, from scoping and tradeoff decisions through delivery
Standardize how new commercial work enters billing: a framework driven intake, clear owners, and sequenced dependencies across billing teams and their stakeholders
Own the promotions program end to end: one repeatable path from proposal to configuration to reconciliation, for both self-serve and sales-led programs
Own commercialization and launch readiness for billing: no new product or SKU launches without pricing, metering, invoicing, and reporting in place
Own the change process for the charge pipeline
Run payments operations programs in partnership with finance and treasury, including currency and FX
You may be a good fit if you
Have 6+ years of technical program management experience, with a track record of owning cross-functional programs end to end
Can reason about metering, invoicing, and payment flows, and the data pipelines behind them
Have run launch readiness programs where a new product needed its commercial and billing path in place before it shipped
Can build trust with engineers, finance and treasury partners, GTM systems, product, and support teams, and translate between them
Are comfortable driving outcomes across teams that don't report to you
Would rather build a repeatable process than keep fixing the same problem by hand
Strong candidates may also have
Experience with promotions or credit programs or enterprise billing platforms
Familiarity with FX, treasury, month end close, or reconciliation
Background in payments operations, billing platform, or quote-to-cash product management
Familiarity with chargeback and refund operations
The annual compensation range for this role is listed below.
For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role.
Annual Salary:
$290,000
—
$365,000 USD
Logistics
Minimum education:
Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
Required field of study:
A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience
Minimum years of experience:
Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position
Location-based hybrid policy:
Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices.
Visa sponsorship:
We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this.
We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification.
Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed. Research shows that people who identify as being from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy, so we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to submit an application if you're interested in this work. We think AI systems like the ones we're building have enormous social and ethical implications. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team.
Your safety matters to us.
To protect yourself from potential scams, remember that Anthropic recruiters only contact you from @anthropic.com email addresses. In some cases, we may partner with vetted recruiting agencies who will identify themselves as working on behalf of Anthropic. Be cautious of emails from other domains. Legitimate Anthropic recruiters will never ask for money, fees, or banking information before your first day. If you're ever unsure about a communication, don't click any links—visit

directly for confirmed position openings.
How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

- Own full-cycle recruitment across all GTM functions: AEs (Enterprise, Mid-Market, SMB), SDRs, Solutions/Sales Engineers, Partner Managers, CS leaders, and RevOps
- Advise hiring managers on market mapping, leveling, comp positioning, and competitive landscape for US GTM talent

Candidate Experience & Selling Mistral
- Guide candidates through the hiring process with clear communication and a compelling narrative about Mistral's mission, culture, and trajectory.
- Articulate Mistral's positioning in the AI landscape — frontier models, open-weight philosophy, and enterprise credibility — to differentiate us against better-known competitors
- Provide candidates with real insight into our GTM motion, growth plans, and the specific impact of their role
- Deliver a high-quality, respectful candidate experience at every stage, regardless of outcome
Recruiting Operations & Data-Driven Improvement
- Develop and refine GTM recruiting processes, tools, and documentation to improve outcomes and efficiency.

- Build and maintain market maps, competitive intel, and talent pools for key US GTM segments
- Standardize GTM interview rubrics, scorecards, and debrief practices across US GTM hiring teams
Raising the Bar
- Collaborate with GTM leadership and the broader Talent team to continuously elevate our hiring standards.

- Partner on employer-brand and outbound sourcing initiatives that position Mistral as a destination for top GTM talent
What We're Looking For
- 6+ years of recruiting experience, including 2+ years in a startup or high-growth B2B SaaS/infrastructure company, with a focus on Sales and GTM roles
- Demonstrated ability to independently hire across the full GTM stack — from SDRs to senior AEs, Solutions Engineers, and GTM leadership
- Deep network and sourcing expertise in US GTM talent markets, particularly in AI/ML, open-source, developer tools, or enterprise software
- Track record of hiring in competitive, candidate-scarce markets where GTM candidates have multiple offers
- Experience working across multiple US markets
- Willingness to work on other roles as needs come up
- Comfort navigating ambiguity and switching between strategic planning and hands-on execution
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence peers and senior GTM stakeholders without direct authority
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to juggle shifting priorities across a high-volume hiring slate
- Professional experience with modern recruiting tools such as Ashby
- Familiarity with the AI/ML landscape and the ability to credibly discuss frontier model capabilities with technical GTM candidates

We are seeking a
Staff Full Stack Engineer
to set the technical direction for and scale Mattermost’s core web platform for teams operating in defense and critical infrastructure sectors. You’ll drive architecture and technical strategy across our Go backend and React/TypeScript web frontend — partnering across teams to ship features that hold up under strict security, compliance, and reliability requirements
.
Our engineering culture is AI-forward. We expect engineers to work fluently with AI coding agents such as Claude Code day-to-day — for scaffolding, refactors, code review, and test generation — and treat that as core craft rather than a shortcut. We would rather hire smart people who get stuff done than chase an exact tech-stack match. If you have a track record of shipping and owning complex software end-to-end, we want to hear from you.
What You Will Do
Define and drive the technical architecture and roadmap for Mattermost’s core web platform across multiple engineering teams, spanning Go, React, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, and Redis
Set org-wide standards and best practices for AI-agentic engineering workflows — going beyond personal fluency with tools like Claude Code and Cursor to shape how the broader engineering org adopts them, while retaining accountability for correctness, security, and design decisions
Lead the internal tooling and testing infrastructure strategy that speeds up delivery for the broader engineering org, not just your immediate team
Own the testing strategy and quality bar across frontend and backend systems, and hold other engineers accountable to it through design reviews and mentorship
Drive architectural decisions for REST and WebSocket API design, grounded in deep networking fundamentals
Partner directly with security, compliance, and product leadership on strategic technical bets tied to our government and enterprise customer requirements
Mentor senior engineers and act as a technical multiplier across the org
Contribute to and help shape technical direction for Mattermost’s open-source codebase
What We Are Looking For
Required:
Senior full-stack development experience in Go and React (or a comparable stack), with a track record of owning complex systems end-to-end
Proven experience designing and owning distributed systems or high-availability service architecture at scale
Experience designing and consuming REST and WebSocket APIs with solid networking fundamentals
Relational database experience including PostgreSQL, schema design, and query optimization
Hands-on daily fluency directing AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Copilot for scaffolding, refactors, code review, and test generation — with the judgment to know when to trust the output and when to take the wheel yourself
Demonstrated ability to influence technical direction across multiple teams without relying on formal authority
Experience mentoring senior engineers and raising the technical bar for a broader team
Comfortable operating in regulated or high-compliance environments (e.g., enterprise security, government, or critical infrastructure requirements)
Nice to Have:
Prior experience operating as a staff, principal, or technical lead engineer at another company
Experience maintaining (not just contributing to) an open-source project
Program-level familiarity with compliance frameworks relevant to defense or government customers (e.g., FedRAMP, ITAR)
Experience helping scale engineering practices or standards across a growing organization
Background in defense, intelligence, or critical infrastructure products
Experience building tools, skills, or workflows on top of AI coding agents including MCP servers, agent skills, or CI-integrated agents
How Success Is Measured
First 90 Days: Build cross-team credibility by shipping a meaningful full-stack feature on the core platform, while assessing the technical landscape and identifying the highest-leverage architectural or process improvements to pursue.
Why Mattermost
Mission-driven work: Your contributions directly support the organizations and missions that depend on secure, reliable collaboration including the U.S. Department of War and critical infrastructure operators worldwide
Remote-first culture: Work from anywhere with a globally distributed, high-trust team built for autonomy and ownership

End-to-end ownership: Ship and own complex software across the full stack with real accountability for what you build
Open source at the core: Be part of a vibrant developer community shaping the future of secure collaboration

Canonical is a leading provider of open source software and operating systems to the global enterprise and technology markets. Our platform, Ubuntu, is very widely used in breakthrough enterprise initiatives such as public cloud, data science, AI, engineering innovation and IoT. Our customers include the world's leading public cloud and silicon providers, and industry leaders in many sectors. The company is a pioneer of global distributed collaboration, with 1200+ colleagues in 75+ countries and very few office based roles. Teams meet two to four times yearly in person, in interesting locations around the world, to align on strategy and execution.
The company is founder led, profitable and growing.
Canonical builds the open-source software that runs the world’s clouds, devices and AI, and we hold our managers to a high standard. Our Talent Development team exists to make leaders and managers at Canonical genuinely excellent. We define what great management looks like here, and we put that standard into the hands of managers and leaders across the company.
The Organisational Development Associate is where our most driven early-career people begin. From day one you work with real teams and take on real change, coached hard by senior practitioners on a fast path toward running this work yourself. This is not a support or back-office role, and it is not generalist HR. We hire for potential, drive and coachability over a polished CV, and we back the people we hire to move fast.
Applying to this role will enter you into our People Track for consideration across roles in the function.
Location
: These are remote based positions, available across EMEA and the Americas.
The role entails
Being embedded inside a real team: see how it works day to day, and surface what is and isn't working.
Running the diagnostics on a team's health and management effectiveness (engagement, 360, direct feedback), and turning the evidence into a clear, honest read.
Owning an improvement end to end: a concrete change to how a team works that you design, drive and land, with a senior practitioner alongside you.
Supporting managers in delivering effective 360 performance feedback to individuals and helping them turn it into two or three real commitments they follow through on.
Helping build the playbook: the standards, tools and shared language the whole function runs on. You are building the system others use, not producing filler.
Learning coaching and organisational development directly from senior practitioners, on a fast, visible path to running this work yourself.
What we are looking for in you
A track record of leading and organising early. You have run things, built things, won people over and made change happen, in a startup, a student society, the military, a team, anywhere. People around you already see you as a driver.
A deliberate pull toward developing people and organisations. You chose this field on purpose, with a real grounding in organisational or industrial psychology, behavioural science or a comparable basis. It is not a fallback.
Drive and eagerness to learn. You have your own ideas and the confidence to challenge, and you are hungry to be coached and to grow fast.
The presence to sit across from experienced people and talk about change with confidence.
An exceptional academic track record from high school and university.
Up to around two years of experience since graduating.
Business level written and spoken English.
Organised, accurate, confident, authentic, results-oriented, and enthusiastic.
Sincere personal motivation aligned with our mission.
Willingness to travel up to 4 times a year for internal events.
In addition we expect that you will match our values, by being:
Precise, taking care to deliver correctness and clarity.
Reliable, delivering high quality work that builds trust and confidence.
Accessible, collaborating to build products and systems that are usable.
Adroit, blending enthusiasm, knowledge, adaptability, style and character.
Nice-to-have skills
Any exposure to people, organisational, coaching or consulting work, through study, an internship or a first job.
A genuine interest in the craft of management and organisations, not just the subject matter.
Comfort working with data.
What we offer colleagues
We consider geographical location, experience, and performance in shaping compensation worldwide. We revisit compensation annually (and more often for graduates and associates) to ensure we recognise outstanding performance. In addition to base pay, we offer a performance-driven annual bonus. We provide all team members with additional benefits, which reflect our values and ideals. We balance our programs to meet local needs and ensure fairness globally.
Distributed work environment with twice-yearly team sprints in person.
Personal learning and development budget of USD 2,000 per year.
Annual compensation review.
Recognition rewards.
Annual holiday leave.
Maternity and paternity leave.
Employee Assistance Programme.
Opportunity to travel to new locations to meet colleagues.
Priority Pass, and travel upgrades for long haul company events.
