The Position
CallRail is looking for a
lead engagement platform: we show businesses which marketing drives their calls, forms, and chats, and we help them answer, qualify, and route those leads around the clock. We're looking for a Vertical Marketing Manager to own a portfolio of our emerging markets, with automotive at the center. Think of the role as general manager for that portfolio: you set the strategy, you own the number, and you're the company's go-to on these markets.
You'll build the personas, positioning, and messaging for these verticals, verticalizing our go-to-market narrative for each audience. From there you'll partner with demand generation, customer marketing, and content on how it comes to life, and work closely with sales, product, and leadership on what we build and say. Expect roughly equal parts strategy and execution.
Automotive is the priority. It's one of our fastest-growing segments, and the aftermarket — repair and service businesses, tire and quick-service shops, collision centers, and the parts suppliers and retailers who serve them — is where you'll go deepest. Alongside it, you'll own a portfolio of our emerging small business verticals. They sit at different stages and require different levels of investment, and determining where to focus is a core part of the role. What connects them is the customer: small businesses that win or lose on the leads they capture.
What You'll Do
You act like an owner.
These markets are your line of business. You know their performance, their risks, and their opportunities inside and out, and you carry the accountability that comes with it.
You bring an informed point of view.
You represent home services in cross-functional and leadership conversations, and your perspective carries weight because it's grounded in real expertise — what customers are telling you, what the data shows, what competitors are doing.
You advocate for what your markets need.
You don't wait for a door to open; you open it. When you see something we need in order to win, you build the case for it, bring the rationale and the numbers, and champion it until it gets a real decision.
You go deep.
You're genuinely curious about this industry, its buyers, and the forces shaping it. You want to keep learning, testing, and refining what works.
What You'll Own
Portfolio strategy and business performance
Own the go-to-market strategy across your automotive & other SMB verticals: how we position and message to each audience, and the plan to hit our acquisition and revenue goals
Decide where your time and our investment go. These markets won't all need the same thing, and setting that balance — then making the case for it — is yours to own
Live in the numbers that define the health of the business: customers, new MRR, churn, ARPU, conversion rate, and product adoption. You'll spot emerging trends and issues early, work cross-functionally to understand what's driving them, and bring a plan when one is needed.
Report on performance to leadership with the insight and executive presence to explain what's changing, what it means, and what you're doing about it
Automotive market and competitive expertise
Be CallRail's subject matter expert on the automotive aftermarket: the buyers, the workflows, the operational realities, the vendor landscape, and the economics of how these businesses grow
Own the automotive buyer personas and the value propositions, positioning, and messaging built on them — the work that differentiates CallRail in an increasingly crowded lead engagement and AI voice market
Build the proof that makes our case credible: customer stories, benchmarks, and ROI framing grounded in how these businesses actually operate
Track the competitive set continuously: who's winning, who's new, where they beat us, where we beat them, and what we should do about it. Feed that intelligence to product, sales, and leadership
Regularly surface the headwinds and tailwinds shaping the market and translate them into implications for our strategy
Validate market requirements through customer interviews, surveys, win/loss analysis, sales insight, and usage data
Be the face of CallRail in the automotive market: trade shows, industry speaking engagements, webinars, panels, podcasts, etc.
Your broader vertical portfolio
Own the positioning and messaging for the other emerging small business verticals, scaling the depth to the opportunity.
Keep a live read on each: where we're winning, where we're losing, and which ones are showing early signs of becoming a bigger bet
Size and pressure-test opportunities, in these markets and in ones we haven't entered: how big, how winnable, what it would take, and what we would have to be right about
Bring recommendations with a clear case for investing or passing. Knowing which markets to walk away from matters as much as knowing which to chase
Run early, lightweight tests where the signal looks promising — positioning, messaging, and proof — and build a repeatable approach the team can use the next time we look at a new vertical
Cross-functional leadership
Serve as the hub between sales, product marketing, customer marketing, demand generation, and product development, feeding market insight into each function and making sure everyone is marching in the same direction
Serve as the messaging authority for your verticals: consulting across marketing for campaign and content development
Pressure-test the work happening across teams against a simple bar: does it solve a real customer pain point, strengthen our competitive position, resonate with the segment we're targeting, and drive measurable results?
Partner with product development teams as the voice of your customers, bringing market insight that shapes the roadmap
Enable sales and support: train them on the problems we solve for these buyers, and work with sales enablement to build the internal tools and external collateral they need
What You'll Need
BS/BA and 4–6 years of experience in a strategic marketing role focused on small business buyers, including direct experience marketing to automotive businesses
A track record of owning a strategy end to end and being accountable for the results, not just executing someone else's plan
Experience entering or evaluating a new market: sizing the opportunity, building the case, and standing up positioning where none existed
Strong analytical instincts and genuine comfort with data — you can get to the story behind the metric and build a case around it
Excellent written and verbal communication, and the confidence and presence to represent your point of view to senior leaders and to external audiences
Demonstrated ability to influence and align cross-functional partners without formal authority
Comfort operating in a fast-moving environment where you'll prioritize, make tradeoffs, and shift between strategic thinking and hands-on execution in the same day
If you do not meet all the requirements listed, we still encourage you to apply! No job description is perfect, and we may also have another opportunity that aligns with your skills and experience.

- Build and execute launch plans for major dedicated inference and serving platform capabilities, from early internal enablement through external announcement.
- Decide what deserves a full launch versus what should ship through docs, sales enablement, customer-specific materials, or targeted enterprise outreach.

- Turn ambiguous customer and market signals into clear recommendations for Product, Sales, and Marketing.
- Develop competitive messaging against inference providers, cloud platforms, and internal DIY alternatives
Cross-Functional Partnership
- Partner with Engineering to ensure technical claims are accurate, defensible, and supported by real product behavior.
- Work with Sales and Solutions teams to understand deal blockers, buyer objections, and enablement gaps.
- Collaborate with Demand Gen and Customer Marketing to build campaigns, customer stories, and field programs
REQUIREMENTS
- 6+ years in product marketing, technical marketing, developer marketing, or a related GTM role, ideally at an infrastructure, developer tools, cloud, data, or AI company.

- Excellent storytelling skills, with the ability to make technical infrastructure feel concrete, credible, and commercially urgent.
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience with AI/ML infrastructure, inference, model serving, cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, observability, DevOps, or distributed systems.
- Experience marketing products to ML engineers, platform engineers, infrastructure leaders, security/compliance teams, or technical executives.
- Experience building competitive positioning against cloud providers, inference providers, model API companies, or internal platforms.

ABOUT LANGFUSE
Langfuse is the open-source LLM engineering platform that helps teams build useful AI applications through tracing, evaluation, prompt management, datasets, and metrics. We are now part of ClickHouse. Like ClickHouse, Langfuse is open source, and we work in public: our product, docs, changelog, roadmap, and community discussions are visible to the developers and teams who use us. Langfuse is already one of the most widely adopted platforms in the category: trusted by 19 of the Fortune 50 and 63 of the Fortune 500, with 50M+ SDK installs per month, 6M+ Docker pulls, and 30k+ GitHub stars.
We are hiring a Head of Marketing for Langfuse.
This is a hands-on marketing leadership role for someone with deep experience in product marketing, developer marketing, and technical content. You will own how Langfuse shows up in the market, manage the Langfuse marketing team, and turn our current founder-led, product-led motion into a holistic marketing ecosystem.
The core of the role is still product marketing and developer trust: positioning, launches, category narrative, developer content, website, customer proof, lifecycle, funnel, sales enablement, and the way we explain Langfuse to technical users and technical buyers. At the same time, Langfuse now has access to ClickHouse's global go-to-market engine. You will be the person who makes those resources work for Langfuse without diluting the Langfuse voice.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Own Langfuse marketing strategy and execution globally, with product marketing and developer content as the center of gravity.
- Manage and develop the Langfuse marketing team, including Product Marketing Engineering, Developer Advocacy, and Product Marketing content and resources.
- Define the operating model for Langfuse marketing: what sits in the Langfuse pod, what runs through ClickHouse shared teams, who owns what, and how we measure whether it is working.
- Build the marketing plan across positioning, launches, website narrative including product pages and conversion paths, customer proof, onboarding, lifecycle, funnel, sales collateral, campaigns, and events.
- Own the Langfuse category narrative: LLM observability, evals, prompt management, datasets, agent observability, self-hosting, and the broader LLM engineering workflow.
- Keep the developer motion strong: useful technical content, examples, cookbooks, docs-adjacent education, changelog, town halls, open-source communication, and high-trust product launches.
- Partner with ClickHouse demand generation and field marketing to make enterprise marketing systematic rather than ad hoc: webinars, workshops, regional events, conferences, paid campaigns, retargeting, and follow-up motions.
- Create the canonical Langfuse sales narrative and enablement system so ClickHouse AEs, SAs, field teams, and leadership can confidently explain Langfuse.
- Lead customer marketing and proof: case studies, technical stories, customer references, logo strategy, community stories, enterprise migration stories, and reusable sales narratives.
- Use data to run the function: unique visitors, signups, activation, revenue, product usage signals, campaign performance, attribution, event ROI, pipeline creation, pipeline acceleration, and qualitative user feedback.
WHAT YOU BRING ALONG:
- You have led product marketing, developer marketing, DevRel, growth, or demand gen marketing for a technical SaaS product.
- You have marketed to developers, infrastructure teams, AI teams, data teams, security teams, observability teams, or another highly technical audience.
- You are a strong product marketer at the core: positioning, narrative, launch strategy, competitive thinking, customer proof, sales enablement, and technical buyer messaging are natural territory for you.
- You write exceptionally well. You can make complex technical ideas clear without making them shallow.
- You are technical enough to use the product, understand the market, earn credibility with engineers, and spot vague or misleading marketing.
- You understand product-led growth and open-source funnels: activation, onboarding, conversion, lifecycle, self-serve adoption, usage signals, and sales-assisted expansion.
- You understand enterprise marketing enough to work with demand gen, field marketing, sales, solutions, and regional teams. You do not need to personally run every event or paid campaign, but you need to know what good looks like and how to make the system work.
- You can manage a small, high-talent team while remaining hands-on where the work needs senior judgment.
- You are comfortable building the function while the company is changing around you. Some work will be cleanly owned. Some work will require influence, coordination, and judgment across a larger organization.
- You already create content: blog posts, talks, product explainers, social posts, newsletters, videos, docs, demos, or open-source examples.
PERKS
- Flexible work environment - ClickHouse is a globally distributed company and remote-friendly. We currently operate in over 25 countries.
- Healthcare - Employer contributions towards your healthcare.
- Equity in the company - Every new team member who joins our company receives stock options.
- Time off - Flexible time off in the US, generous entitlement in other countries.
- A USD$500 Home office setup if you’re a remote employee.

We hire people with high agency and high urgency. We look for slope over intercept. We care less about where you trained and more about what you’ve built. At Ramp, everyone is a builder who owns problems end to end and makes consequential decisions that shape the outcome.
The median Ramp customer saves 7.5% and grows revenue 16% in their first year – far in excess of businesses operating without Ramp. We believe every ambitious company deserves the same.
If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it.
About the Role
You will serve as a front-line manager for a team of Sales Development Representatives, responsible for outbound prospecting and pipeline generation across Ramp’s SMB segment.
You will lead and evolve the SMB sales development motion by providing 1:1 coaching, onboarding, training, and mentorship; setting team strategy; and partnering closely with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Executive Leadership to drive pipeline and business outcomes.
As a member of the Sales Leadership team, you will play a critical role in developing SDR talent, scaling effective outbound practices, and continuously refining Ramp’s SMB go-to-market motion.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Build and scale the SMB SDR function by evolving team operating rhythms, playbooks, coaching standards, and processes for an open-territory outbound motion.
- Set and maintain a high-performing culture by overseeing daily SDR activity, pipeline generation, and quota performance to ensure key performance metrics are met.
- Hire, onboard, and train new SDRs on Ramp’s products, buyer personas, competitive landscape, prospecting strategy, and tools through hands-on methods including role-plays.
- Develop and execute career-growth and leadership plans for direct reports, including daily 1:1 mentorship and coaching on time management, objection handling, prospecting tactics, active listening, and pipeline creation.
- Coach SDRs on effective multichannel outbound prospecting, including account research, relevant messaging, call execution, and using AI tools to improve efficiency and quality.
- Partner with AEs and Sales and Marketing counterparts on pipeline-generation, territory, and prospecting initiatives that support SMB business objectives.
- Report on team performance, pipeline health, and forecasts to senior leadership.
- Improve team output and efficiency over time by identifying opportunities to optimize systems, processes, enablement, and AI-supported workflows.
- Establish and maintain a library of prospecting resources, best practices, and training materials for the SMB SDR team.
- Represent the SMB Sales Development team cross-functionally with leaders across Sales, Marketing, Product, and other departments.
WHAT YOU NEED
- Minimum of 2 years of quota-carrying sales experience as an individual contributor, with a proven, consistent track record exceeding goals
- Minimum of 2 years of experience building and leading sales development teams with a proven track record of exceeding goal
- Prior demonstrated success in fast-paced, results-oriented GTM environments, ideally at SaaS companies, and history of consistently performing above quota in an outbound sales environment
- A passion and excitement for hiring, with a thoughtful approach to team planning and development
- Ability to articulate contractual, technical, and financial value points to customers, including executive leaders
- Proficiency in data analytics tools (ie. Salesforce, Looker, and Excel) and familiarity with email and call automation platforms
- High proficiency with AI tools (Claude, OpenAI, etc.), with the ability to incorporate tooling into prospecting, coaching, team workflows, and process improvement to drive greater SDR productivity
- Ability to leverage data to drive decisions, create systems, and identify process improvements to improve efficiency
- Strong collaboration and influencing skills, demonstrated through excellent communication and presentation skills

We build production AI systems for enterprises. Financial services, healthcare companies, PE-backed operators. We are a Select-tier partner in Anthropic's Claude Partner Network, among the first integrators selected.
Every one of those systems has two stories. What we built, and why it changed the economics of the business that bought it. Most technical marketing tells the first and bores the buyer.
We want one person who can tell both, and build things themselves. Not a marketer who uses AI tools. Not an engineer who writes copy. Someone who moves between the two without noticing the border.
What you will do:
Tell both halves of the story. Sit close to the teams shipping these systems, understand what was actually hard, and translate it into video, writing, and demos that travel. Then go a level up: what the system changed for the operator, what it cost, what it replaced, why the CFO signed.
Shape how Provectus is positioned. Not just the case studies but the argument above them. What we stand for, which problems we claim, where we say no. You will have a real hand in that, not a style guide to follow.
Build the tools that make the marketing work. A scraper that watches what our market is saying. An agent that drafts case studies from delivery artifacts. A microsite for a launch. A dashboard showing which stories moved pipeline. You write the code. You do not file a ticket and wait.
Own channels outright. Write, publish, and measure across LinkedIn, YouTube, X, and whatever channel matters six months from now that does not matter today.
Run experiments and kill the ones that lose. Real budget, real autonomy, in exchange for showing your numbers.
What we are looking for:
You have shipped things people used. A side project, a channel with an audience, a tool, a launch. We care more about what you made than where you worked.
You write well, and you have a point of view. You can hold attention for 90 seconds on video and 900 words on a page.
You are curious about how companies make money. You can read a business case and find the part that actually matters. You can sit with a CFO or a PE operator and not reach for features.
You code. Python or TypeScript, comfortably. You use Claude Code, Cursor, or equivalent every day and you have opinions about them. You have built something agentic that does actual work.
You are interested in AI for real. You read the papers, or the people who read the papers, and you have changed your mind about something in the last six months.
You are anywhere from your first job to your tenth year. Three levels, one bar: what have you made. If you are early, show us an internship where the bar was high and a portfolio with range. If you are senior, tell us what you built with your own hands in the last 90 days.
You are in New York or San Francisco, or you will be.
What we offer:
Base salary of $80,000 to $180,000 depending on level and location, plus a performance bonus.
Direct access to the people building the systems and the executives selling them. Small team, no layers between you and the work.
A budget for tools, models, and experiments, with no approval chain under a threshold.
Promotion tied to output, not tenure.
401(k) profit sharing plan after probation period
Unlimited PTO policy
Medical, Visual and Dental insurance
How to apply:
No cover letter. Send three links: something you wrote, something you built, and something you posted that got a reaction. One paragraph on why the third one worked.
Then, two sentences on a company whose positioning you think is wrong and what you would change.
Base salary depends on level and location, plus a performance bonus.

👋 A LITTLE ABOUT US
We’re building the best platform for authoring, publishing, and maintaining world-class docs. Close to 40,000 sign-ups per month, over 100k Monthly Active Users, used by 2M+ people and thousands of teams like Zoom, FedEx, Nvidia, Snyk, and Google. We’re profitable, backed by P9 Capital, Notion Capital, and Fly VC, and our amazing team is spread across 15 countries in North America, Europe, and Asia.
Our enterprise motion is growing, and the way we reach those buyers is changing. Docs are bought by engineering leaders, platform teams, and developer experience owners, people who don't answer cold emails but do show up at conferences, dinners, hackathons, and community meetups. Field marketing is how we get in front of them.
Today our event activity is opportunistic: a booth here, a sponsored dinner there, a webinar when someone has time. There's no tiering model, no consistent follow-up motion, and no reliable way to say which events created the (right) pipeline. This role owns all of it.
This is a new function at GitBook. You'd be the first person to own it.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Own the global event calendar: Decide which industry tradeshows and conferences we show up at, at what level, and why and then run them end to end: sponsorship negotiation, booth, staffing, messaging, budget, and on-site execution.
- Build activation around the big moments: The booth is rarely where the deals happen. You'll design the side-events that surround a conference such as curated dinners, executive roundtables, breakfast briefings, happy hours, and build the guest lists around accounts we actually want in the room.
- Create GitBook's own events: Design and run owned formats that people want to attend because of what they are, not because we sponsored them. Roadshows, customer summits, docs-focused meetups, launch moments. You'll define the format, the content arc, and the experience.
- Experiment with community activation: Work with our DevRel colleagues on hackathons, docs sprints, and community events. Some will work and some won't; you'll run them as experiments with a clear read on what happened.
- Own online events: Webinars, virtual roundtables, and livestreams, you’ll be either running them yourself or coordinating the team members who do.
- Build the tiering model: Define what a Tier 1, 2, and 3 event looks like at GitBook: spend bands, staffing, pre- and post-event motion, and the bar an event has to clear to earn each tier.
- Report on pipeline, not attendance: Build the measurement model for events: cost per opportunity, event-sourced and event-influenced pipeline, target-account attendance, and conversion through to closed won.
- Make the sales follow-up motion work: Build a lightweight SLA for pre-event target lists with AEs, brief the team on what to do at the event, and build the follow-up structure that turns a badge scan into a conversation.
- Act as ABM sparring partner: Our enterprise motion runs on account-based plays. You'll be the person Sales and Marketing think out loud with on account selection, buying-committee mapping, and how field programs plug into 1:1 and 1:few plays
HOW WE'LL MEASURE SUCCESS
In your first 90 days: a tiered event calendar for the next four quarters, a working measurement model in our CRM, and a follow-up motion Sales has actually agreed to.
After that: event-sourced and event-influenced pipeline, cost per opportunity by tier, target-account penetration at Tier 1 events, and speed of follow-up.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 7–10 years in B2B SaaS marketing: you need to have a meaningful stretch of that in field marketing, event marketing, or integrated demand generation. You've run international programs, including and especially in the USA.
- A ROI mindset: You talk in opportunities and cost per opportunity, not impressions and badge scans. You've defended an event budget with numbers and you've killed events that didn't earn their place.
- Real operational range: You can negotiate a sponsorship contract, argue about booth carpet, write a good invite email, and build a Hubspot dashboard or report (or know who to ask to build it for you).
- Sales credibility: AEs will trust you or route around you. You can walk into a pipeline review, take a hard question about last quarter's spend, and answer it without getting defensive.
- Taste: Most B2B events are forgettable. We'd rather run fewer things that people remember. You should have opinions about what makes an event worth attending.
- Comfort with a technical audience: Our buyers are engineers and the people who lead them. You don't need to write code, but you need to know why developer-audience marketing fails when it's too polished.
- Ownership mindset: There's no playbook here. You'll write it: defining process, flagging problems early, and not waiting to be told what to build next.
Also, you might be coming from a field marketing role at a SaaS company that got heavier on events, an event marketing role where you started owning the pipeline number, a demand gen role with a large in-person component, or a community or DevRel role that grew a commercial edge. We care less about the label than about what you can actually do. Some travel is expected, roughly a week or two a quarter, with a potential for a week a month in the conference season peak.
WHAT THIS ROLE IS NOT
This isn't a role where you'll manage a team from day one, and it isn't purely strategic. You'll be on the floor at the show and in the spreadsheet the week after.
It's also not brand marketing or product marketing. You'll draw on both, and you'll partner closely with them, but you're accountable for the pipeline.
If you do this well, the function grows in scope, budget, and eventually headcount. But we're hiring for someone who wants to build it from scratch, not for the version of this role that exists in two years.

THE ROLE
We’re hiring a Founding Sales Leader in EMEA to build our business in the region from the ground up. We already have EMEA customers and real demand — today it’s served from the US. You’ll be our first person on the ground in London, and your job is to localize that business and turn it into a region.
This is a founding-leader role, not inheriting a machine. You’ll be in deals directly while making your first hires, with a mandate to scale the EMEA team to 20+ people this year across front-line leaders and sellers.
The right person for this role is a player-coach who has managed managers, sold to technical buyers, and hired quickly — and who wants to run a region before a bigger company would hand them one. If you’re energized by ambiguity, an unformed market, and building with what’s in front of you, this is one of the most consequential GTM roles at Baseten.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own EMEA: all segments, all markets, top to bottom.
- Build the team. Recruit, hire, and onboard 20+ people this year, including the front-line leaders who will run it with you.
- Carry the number. Build pipeline, run deals, and close business yourself while the team is coming together.
- Establish our presence in the region — the London footprint, our reputation with EMEA buyers, and the local playbook for how enterprise buying works here.
- Adapt the motion. Take what works in AMER and tune it to how technical buyers in EMEA actually evaluate and purchase infrastructure.
- Partner closely with a US-based org across Sales, Marketing, Revenue Operations, Solutions, and Recruiting, with significant US timezone overlap.
- Set the bar for execution, forecasting rigor, and speed as the region scales.
REQUIREMENTS
- A proven hiring track record. You’ve built teams quickly and hired leaders, not just ICs, and you can point to the people you’ve developed.
- Second-line leadership experience. You’ve managed managers and owned a multi-team org.
- Enterprise selling experience against a technical line of business. You can hold your own with engineering and infrastructure buyers and want to go deeper on inference.
- Scrappiness. You’re comfortable being the only Baseten person in the region on day one — building pipeline, closing deals, and recruiting at the same time, without the bells and whistles.
- EMEA fluency. You know the regional markets and how enterprise buying differs from the US.
- Comfort in a fast-moving, high-intensity environment. Here, that means you Slack faster than you talk.
- A builder’s mentality. You own problems and their solutions, and you’re at your best in high-change, unstructured environments.
BENEFITS
- Competitive compensation, including meaningful equity
- (U.S. only) 100% coverage of medical, dental, and vision insurance for employee and dependents
- Flexible PTO policy including company wide Winter Break (our offices are closed from Christmas Eve to New Year's Day!)
- Paid parental leave
- Fertility and family-building stipend through Carrot
- (U.S. only) Company-facilitated 401(k)
- Exposure to a variety of ML startups, offering unparalleled learning and networking opportunities.
Apply now to embark on a rewarding journey in shaping the future of AI! If you are a motivated individual with a passion for machine learning and a desire to be part of a collaborative and forward-thinking team, we would love to hear from you.
At Baseten, we are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace. We provide equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants without regard to race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, genetic information, disability, or veteran status.
We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable law (by example, the requirements of the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance, where applicable).

About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role
We're looking for a product marketer to join the Claude Platform Product Marketing team. You'll drive go-to-market for launches across the platform, from new API features and developer tools to the capabilities that ship with new models.
In this role, you'll partner with Product to bring new capabilities to market, write the positioning and messaging that explain what each one does and who it's for, and give Sales the narratives and materials they need to win technical deals. If you've run launches for developer platforms, API products, or technical infrastructure and want to launch new capabilities every week, this role is for you.
Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end go-to-market planning and execution for new platform products, features, and capabilities
Develop compelling product messaging, positioning, and value propositions aligned with technical audience needs
Drive product launches that generate market momentum, from flagship releases to incremental feature updates
Design and implement developer marketing campaigns to drive API adoption and platform usage
Support sales enablement initiatives that equip our teams to win: battlecards, pitch materials, customer stories, and objection handling
Partner with Product to shape roadmap priorities based on competitive intel, customer research, and field feedback
Work closely with Developer Relations, Comms, Creative, Marketing, and Sales to effectively bring new products to market
Minimum requirements
Have a proven track record of developing and executing go-to-market strategies for API products or developer tools, including successful product launches
Have a strong technical background with the ability to understand and communicate complex AI features to both technical and non-technical audiences
Excel at cross-functional collaboration, particularly in aligning Product, Sales, and Marketing strategies
Possess strong storytelling skills with a demonstrated ability to create diverse marketing content, including blogs, presentations, sales collateral, website copy, and customer case studies
Have exceptional writing skills with a demonstrated ability to adapt tone, style, and complexity for diverse audiences (executives, technical users, end customers) and formats (long-form content, product briefs, email campaigns, social media)
Preferred requirements
Have 10+ years of product marketing experience and at least 5 years focused on developer platforms, APIs, or technical products
Experience in highly competitive markets requiring sharp differentiation
A background in marketing AI/ML products or developer tools to enterprise buyers
Experience working closely with Sales teams on strategic, technical deals

How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.
