BUILDING THE FUTURE OF OPEN FINANCE
Payward - the parent company behind Kraken, NinjaTrader, Breakout, xStocks, Payward Services and CF Benchmarks - has spent the last 15 years building one of the most modern and globally accessible financial infrastructure platforms in the industry, built to advance an open, global financial system.
THE TEAM
Founded in 2011, Kraken is one of the world's longest-standing crypto platforms, trusted by over 10 million individuals and institutions across the globe. It offers spot trading, margin, futures, staking, and OTC services, with products built for both individual investors and institutional clients.
Consumer Trading is a full-stack team behind the Consumer experience in Kraken mobile and web applications. Our flagship product allows our clients to instantly buy, sell, convert any combination of stocks, cryptocurrencies and cash. We are constantly working on extending the product suite with new features and improvements.
THE OPPORTUNITY
- Own the connective tissue between marketing and product at Kraken Consumer — a remit with real scope to shape how millions of people discover and return to our products.
- Build something from the ground up: the roadmap, the intake model and the standards for how marketing and product work together are all yours to define.
- Sit at the centre of the acquisition funnel, where small improvements in conversion compound into meaningful growth.
- Unlock new acquisition channels by building the product surfaces they depend on — paid social, search, affiliates and offline campaigns.
- Shape a fast-growing mobile acquisition motion, including in-product social, creator partnerships, community and friend-referral mechanics.
- Own both halves of the lifecycle: bringing new users in, and giving existing users compelling reasons to come back.
- Work in one of the most competitive corners of consumer fintech, where conversion craft and product quality genuinely decide who wins.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Own the marketing product roadmap end to end, and build the process that turns campaign ideas into shipped product work.
- Design and launch tailored campaign experiences — the in-app and web journeys users land in from push, email, social and paid.
- Raise the bar on lifecycle messaging so push and email feel useful rather than noisy, and convert accordingly.
- Own the incentives layer for new and returning users: offers, referral mechanics, recurring deposits and earn-led campaigns.
- Apply user psychology and sharp UX thinking to find where the funnel leaks, then run the experiments that close the gaps.
- Improve landing page and search performance, and build the product foundations that make paid and offline channels measurable and worth the spend.
- Partner with marketing, design, engineering and data as the single point of ownership for growth enablement.
- Define the acquisition and reactivation metrics that matter, and report on them honestly — including when an experiment doesn't land.
Unless a specific application deadline is stated in the job posting, applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.

From Fivetran’s founding until now, our mission has remained the same: to make access to data as simple and reliable as electricity. With Fivetran, customer data arrives in their warehouses, canonical and ready to query, with no engineering or maintenance required. We’re proud that more organizations continue to leverage our technology every day to become truly data-driven.
About Us
Fivetran and dbt Labs are bringing together two industry-leading companies with a shared mission: helping organizations unlock the full value of their data.
Together, we're delivering the data infrastructure layer that helps organizations move, transform, and trust their data — from the moment data moves, through every transformation, to the context teams and AI systems rely on.
Fivetran helps organizations automate data movement across the systems, clouds, engines, and tools they rely on. dbt Labs pioneered analytics engineering, helping teams transform data into reliable, governed insights. Together, we support thousands of organizations as they build a trusted foundation for analytics, AI, and better business decisions.
As we bring our teams and technology together, we're building on the strengths of both companies while continuing to deliver the products and experiences our customers know and trust. It's an exciting time to join us: we're creating a company with the scale, talent, and technology to help more organizations put their data to work with greater speed, confidence, and impact.
About the Role
Fivetran and dbt Labs are building data pipelines to power the modern data stack for thousands of companies.
We're looking for a senior software engineer to join our Orchestration team, which owns the control plane layer of the dbt platform — the scheduler, execution harness, and results processing.
You'll own the design and delivery of features end to end, working across high-throughput APIs and data models to make them faster, more reliable, and more capable. You'll write and review designs, raise the quality bar in code review, use the latest AI tools, and collaborate closely with product and QE to deliver work that scales.
Technologies You'll Use
Python, Rust, GraphQL, Postgres, Snowflake, Kafka, Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, GCP, Datadog
What You'll Do
Design and implement features and performance improvements across the Orchestration team's services — the scheduler, execution harness, and results processing
Develop, maintain, and test high-quality, maintainable code, and optimize critical paths for performance
Write technical designs for feature-level work, actively seek feedback, and clearly explain the trade-offs of your decisions
Participate in and review technical designs and pull requests, providing constructive feedback to the team
Improve test coverage with comprehensive unit tests and refactor code to drive down tech debt
Troubleshoot and debug production issues, and follow up on incidents with post-mortems and mitigation plans
Break features into tasks, structure and execute your own project plans, and contribute to sprint and feature planning
Collaborate with product managers, QE, customer support, and peers to deliver the best product with high quality, performance, and scalability
Participate periodically in the on-call rotation, and be mindful of security throughout your work
Use AI tooling — IDE assistants like GitHub Copilot, coding agents like Claude Code, and conversational AI — to accelerate development and to author and review SDLC artifacts such as TDDs, PRDs, post-mortems, and test plans
Skills We're Looking For
5+ years of experience in the software industry with a passion for solving complex software engineering problems, including designing and building backend services and reusable components from the ground up
Experience working with distributed systems and cloud computing concepts
Demonstrated ability to write well-structured, performant, and well-tested code
Ability to independently lead feature-level software and design work that satisfies project requirements, and to clearly explain design trade-offs
Can identify design flaws in existing systems and propose improvements
Experience with code reviews, design, troubleshooting, and testing
Proficiency in a modern backend or systems language such as Python, Java, C++, or C#
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
Experience with continuous integration tooling such as BuildKite, and familiarity with observability tools like Datadog or Grafana is a plus
Fluent in using AI code assistants and coding agents to generate and investigate code, and conversational AI (e.g. Claude, ChatGPT) to research, author, review, and synthesize SDLC artifacts
Bonus Skills
Experience in data processing (ETL, ELT) and/or cloud-based data platforms
Experience building or working with metadata, catalog, lineage, or discovery/search systems
Experience with GraphQL APIs and high-throughput, multi-tenant data services
Familiarity with the analytics engineering workflow and the dbt ecosystem

From Fivetran’s founding until now, our mission has remained the same: to make access to data as simple and reliable as electricity. With Fivetran, customer data arrives in their warehouses, canonical and ready to query, with no engineering or maintenance required. About Us
Fivetran and dbt Labs are bringing together two industry-leading companies with a shared mission: helping organizations unlock the full value of their data.
Together, we’re delivering the data infrastructure layer that helps organizations move, transform, and trust their data — from the moment data moves, through every transformation, to the context teams and AI systems rely on.
As we bring our teams and technology together, we’re building on the strengths of both companies while continuing to deliver the products and experiences our customers know and trust. About the Security team
The Security team at WorkOS is responsible for keeping the data and identities of hundreds of millions of users secure. Security is fundamental to our products, and customer trust is the foundation of our success.
We are a highly collaborative group with a strong engineering mindset. Our security program is shaped by hands-on experience attacking and defending systems, and applying lessons from across the industry. We embrace the latest advancements in practices and tooling that make modern security teams effective.
We are comfortable in code and collaborate often with engineering to create products that are secure by default.
Who we’re looking for

- Excited about AI. You're embracing AI and automation to scale security and reduce toil.
- Curious and humble. You ask the basic questions, enjoy untangling complex systems, and bring others along with you.
Responsibilities
- Lead secure design efforts. Partner with engineering teams on secure design and code reviews. Identify and prioritize risks early in the product lifecycle.
- Build secure by default systems. Develop paved paths that systemically reduce risk and make secure development the easiest path for engineers.
- Perform offensive security testing. Conduct penetration tests and code audits on new and existing products from an adversarial lens.
- Improve our security tooling. Integrate and improve our static analysis, supply chain security, and vulnerability management capabilities across engineering pipelines.
- Operate our responsible disclosure program. Run and improve our program by furthering automation, validating submissions, and coordinating remediation.
- Improve our products. Write and ship code to remediate vulnerabilities in production systems and improve the security posture of WorkOS products.
- Work directly with customers. Help build our customers' trust by directly engaging with their security-related questions and concerns.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in a security engineering or security-focused software engineering role.
- Ability to execute across a wide range of security functions such as security assessments, penetration testing, responsible disclosure, security tooling integration, etc.
- Familiarity with and experience using common industry tooling.
- Proven ability to identify vulnerabilities in software, demonstrated through CVEs, bug bounty, blog posts, or prior work experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly in partnering with engineering teams.
- Comfortable reading and writing code, and able to effectively leverage AI during the process.
- Bonus: Experience in the authentication and identity domain.
- Bonus: Experience writing production level code, especially developing security features.

We're growing quickly and recently raised our $1.5B Series F https://www.baseten.co/blog/announcing-our-series-f/, led by Altimeter Capital, Conviction Partners, and Spark Capital. Join us and help build the platform engineers turn to ship AI products.
THE ROLE
We’re looking for a Corporate Accounting Manager to support the general ledger, the close, and our accounting processes and controls as Baseten scales. This is a hands-on, individual-contributor role for someone who wants full ownership of the core accounting function at a company where the entity structure, transaction volume, and reporting requirements are growing quickly.
You’ll join the corporate accounting team and take on the general ledger, vendor contract review, the close calendar, and our internal control environment as the business grows. We are focused on tightening close procedures, strengthening controls, and building reporting rigor to support the scale ahead. You’ll partner closely with FP&A, Data, and cross-functional partners to make sure the books close on time and accurately every cycle.
Baseten is building the infrastructure layer for AI-native companies, and we're scaling quickly - in headcount, entity structure, transaction volume, and contract complexity and volume and vendor size. If you want real ownership over a growing function on a lean team, this role offers real scope.
RESPONSIBILITIES
General Ledger and Financial Reporting
- Own day-to-day execution of general ledger journal entries, account reconciliations, and monthly financial statement preparation as the entity structure grows
- Own recurring close areas, including accruals, prepaids, fixed assets, and equity compensation
- Lead month-end and year-end close, setting the calendar and holding FP&A, Data, and cross-functional partners so the books close on time every cycle
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements and flux analysis for accounting and finance leadership
- Identify and automate the manual, error-prone steps that slow the close down
Controls and Audit
- Partner directly with cross-functional teams and external auditors to keep internal controls tight and the company audit-ready
- Own audit deliverables, including technical accounting memos, schedules, and sample testing support
Systems and Cross-Functional Partnership
- Support day-to-day administration and maintenance of our accounting systems stack, including NetSuite and our spend management platform, and push for automation over manual workarounds
- Partner with FP&A on reporting, forecasting inputs, and variance analysis
- Support FP&A, Legal, and Procurement on the accounting implications of new entities, contracts, and programs
REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 3+ years focused specifically on corporate accounting, general ledger, and close management
- Deep working knowledge of US GAAP across core corporate accounting areas, including accruals, prepaids, fixed assets, debt and leases
- Hands-on experience owning account reconciliations and preparing monthly financial statements
- Experience owning the close calendar directly, not just contributing to a close run by someone else
- Public company or audit-ready private company experience (Big 4 or industry, with audit exposure)
- Builder mentality with a bias toward execution; comfortable operating on a lean team relative to company scale
- Experience with NetSuite (or comparable ERP) and a modern spend management platform
- Based in San Francisco or New York, with the ability to work in-person 3+ days per week
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience at a high-growth, venture-backed infrastructure or cloud company
- Experience supporting multi-entity or international consolidations
- Integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact
- CPA
- Exposure to SOX or SOX-readiness controls work
BENEFITS
- Competitive compensation, including meaningful equity
- (U.S. only) 100% coverage of medical, dental, and vision insurance for employee and dependents
- Flexible PTO policy including company wide Winter Break (our offices are closed from Christmas Eve to New Year's Day!)
- Paid parental leave
- Fertility and family-building stipend through Carrot

BUILDING THE FUTURE OF OPEN FINANCE
Payward - the parent company behind Kraken, NinjaTrader, Breakout, xStocks, Payward Services and CF Benchmarks - has spent the last 15 years building one of the most modern and globally accessible financial infrastructure platforms in the industry, built to advance an open, global financial system.
THE TEAM
Founded in 2011, Kraken is one of the world's longest-standing crypto platforms, trusted by over 10 million individuals and institutions across the globe. Offering spot trading, margin, futures, staking, and OTC services, with products built for both individual investors and institutional clients.
Kraken Pro is where serious traders work. Tight spreads, deep books, an API people actually build on. The people who use it are demanding, opinionated, and allergic to marketing.
We want someone who belongs in that room. Not a brand account with a person behind it, but a trader's trader who happens to be very good at building community.
Come here to build and grow this Community for us.
THE OPPORTUNITY
- Live in the trenches. Discord, Telegram, X, TradingView, Reddit, the group chats you're already in at 3am. You're not "monitoring channels". You're a participant, with standing.
- Be the fastest voice in the room. When a chain halts, a listing drops, or the market goes vertical, you're posting before the screenshots start circulating. Speed with accuracy, not vibes.
- Build the inner circle. Stand up an ambassador and power-user program: the market makers, quant desks, and high-volume traders who'll tell you the truth about the product. Give them a reason to stay loud.
- Run the room in public. AMAs, live trading sessions, feature launches, competitions, post-mortems when we get something wrong. Own the format, don't just attend it.
- Close the loop with Product. You'll be the first to hear that the order entry flow is broken. Your job is to get it to the PM with receipts, then go back and tell the community what happened.
- Write things people screenshot. Threads on microstructure, teardowns of new features, release notes that don't read like release notes.
- Prove it worked. Sentiment, share of voice, community-sourced signups, retention of the accounts that matter. You bring the numbers to the table before anyone asks.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- You trade. Actual positions, actual scars. You can hold a conversation about funding rates, maker/taker economics, slippage, and latency without reaching for a glossary.
- 3+ years running community or social for a product with a technical, skeptical audience. Crypto, fintech, gaming, or dev tools all count.
- You write fast and well. Short-form that lands, long-form that holds up under scrutiny from people smarter than the average follower.
- You have thick skin and good instincts. Crypto community management means getting yelled at with an audience watching. You de-escalate without going corporate and you know when to push back.
- You've built something from a standing start, not just maintained an existing account.
- You operate without a brief. Markets don't wait for approval chains, and neither should you… because you know where the line is and you don't need a committee to find it.
- You're comfortable with the ambiguity of a company that ships constantly and reorganizes around opportunity.
Unless a specific application deadline is stated in the job posting, applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.
Please note, applicants are permitted to redact or remove information on their resume that identifies age, date of birth, or dates of attendance at or graduation from an educational institution.
