We are building AI to simulate the world through merging art and science.
We believe that world models are at the frontier of progress in artificial intelligence. Language models alone won’t solve the world’s hardest problems – robotics, disease, scientific discovery. Real progress requires models that experience the world and learn from their mistakes, the same way that humans do. And this kind of trial and error can be massively accelerated when done in simulation, rather than in the real world.
World models offer the most clear path to general-purpose simulation, changing how stories are told, how scientific progress is made and how the next frontiers of humanity are reached.
Our team consists of creative, open minded, caring and ambitious people who are determined to change the world. We aspire to continuously build impossible things and our ability to do so relies on building an incredible team. If you are driven to do the same, we'd love to hear from you.
*Titles posted to our careers page are updated regularly to best advertise the role and expected seniority, but internally we have a flat titling system with two types of titles: one for individual contributors and one for people managers.
ABOUT THE ROLE
*Open to hiring remote across the US — we also have offices in New York, San Francisco, Seattle, London, Paris, and Tel Aviv.
We're looking for a Designer, Growth (Product Marketing) to sit at the intersection of brand, performance marketing, and generative media. This is not a brand systems or campaign concepting role — it's a high-volume, output-driven design role. You'll own the visual execution of paid and performance marketing across video, motion, and static formats, producing assets that are on-brand, well art directed and built to convert. You'll report to the Creative Director of Product Marketing.
Your work will directly shape how people first encounter and engage with Runway's products. That means producing scroll-stopping video ads, designing static and animated assets for paid social and display, and using generative tools — including Runway's own — as a core part of how you work. You'll partner closely with product marketing, growth, and creative teams, and you'll be measured on craft, throughput, and performance.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Design and produce high volumes of performance marketing assets across video, motion, and static formats — paid social, display, YouTube and beyond
- Use Runway to ideate, create and iterate on video and image assets that are on-brand and well art directed — not just technically functional
- Own the visual execution of ad creative from concept through final delivery, working from briefs or generating your own directions when needed
- Produce motion graphics and animated ads that communicate product value quickly and compellingly
- Partner with the Product Marketing and growth team to develop integrated ad concepts where copy and design work together
- Build and iterate on creative variants for A/B and multivariate testing — adapting formats, hooks and visual treatments based on performance data
- Maintain a consistent visual language across all performance touchpoints without letting assets feel templated or stale
- Collaborate with product marketing on go-to-market launches, translating new product capabilities into visual stories that resonate with target audiences
- Hands-on experience designing for the major paid channels (Meta, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc) with fluency in each platform's native specs, aspect ratios and ad formats, and a real point of view on what works where.
- Own updates to GTM assets and templates, keeping them current and on-brand across campaigns. Bring hands-on experience building and automating deck design systems, so our presentations stay consistent without manual rework each time.
- Contribute to a growing library of on-brand design components, motion templates and generative prompting strategies that raise the team's overall output velocity
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- 4+ years of experience in performance marketing design, motion design, or a related role at a tech or consumer company
- A portfolio that shows range across video ads, motion graphics and static performance creative — with clear evidence of craft and art direction judgment, not just execution
- Strong motion design skills — you're fluent in After Effects, Premiere, or equivalent, and can produce polished animated and video assets independently
- Solid graphic design fundamentals — typography, layout, color — applied to high-converting ad formats, not just editorial or brand work
- Hands-on experience using AI image and video generation tools with an art director's eye — you know how to prompt, iterate and finish work that looks intentional
- Comfort with performance data — you can look at creative metrics and know what visual changes to make next
- Ability to operate at high velocity across multiple simultaneous campaigns without sacrificing quality
- Experience working closely with growth marketers and product teams in a fast-moving environment
- Experience in AI, creative tools or developer-adjacent products is a strong plus

As a subsidiary of Sony Group Corporation, we’re part of a proud legacy of innovation and excellence. SIE is a dynamic technology company, delivering cutting-edge hardware and network services to more than 100 million people and an entertainment leader, home to some of the most beloved and recognizable intellectual properties (IP) in the world. Our role at SIE is to create and nurture the experiences under the PlayStation brand, a name synonymous with entertainment excellence and creativity.
Product Manager
Waterloo, ON
Build what’s next for players.
We’re a startup inside Sony PlayStation: fast-moving, experimental, and highly ambitious, while backed by the scale, resources, and trust of Sony Interactive Entertainment.
We’re building new mobile and web experiences that help gamers connect, discover, and play together in better ways. This is a rare opportunity to build at startup speed and drive meaningful impact inside one of the world’s most recognized gaming companies.
We are seeking a hands-on Product Manager to own product discovery, strategy, prioritization, and execution for new mobile and web experiences.
In this role, you will identify new product opportunities, speak directly with users, analyze product behaviour, define new features and initiatives, and manage the product opportunity pipeline from early exploration through launch and iteration.
You will work closely with Design, Engineering, and Marketing to turn ambiguous ideas into clear product direction. You will represent the voice of the user, establish what success looks like, and help the team decide what to build, why it matters, and how we will know whether it worked.
Responsibilities
Define and evolve the product vision, strategy, roadmap, and opportunity pipeline for new mobile and web experiences.
Identify and validate new product opportunities through user interviews, surveys, behavioural data, market research, competitive analysis, and rapid experimentation.
Develop a deep understanding of user needs, motivations, behaviours, and pain points, and represent the voice of the user throughout product development.
Translate user insights, business opportunities, and technical possibilities into clear product initiatives, feature concepts, product briefs, requirements, and success criteria.
Evaluate and prioritize opportunities based on user value, strategic alignment, expected impact, confidence, development effort, technical risk, and speed to learning.
Own product planning and the development pipeline, including roadmap prioritization, task creation, sprint planning, progress tracking, and maintaining alignment across the team.
Partner closely with Design and Engineering to take products and features from early concept through prototyping, development, launch, measurement, and continuous improvement, balancing short-term learning with long-term product quality.
Define product goals, key performance indicators, measurement frameworks, and analytics requirements before features are launched.
Live directly in the data to analyze acquisition, onboarding, activation, engagement, retention, conversion, and other key user behaviours.
Develop hypotheses and lead structured experiments, including prototypes, concept tests, usability studies, A/B tests, and staged product releases.
Use quantitative and qualitative insights to evaluate product performance, identify opportunities, and recommend whether to iterate, scale, reposition, or stop an initiative.
Partner with Growth Marketing to connect audience insights, acquisition performance, onboarding, engagement, and retention into a cohesive product-growth strategy.
Lead cross-functional product discussions, resolve trade-offs, identify dependencies and risks, and maintain alignment across internal and external stakeholders.
Communicate product strategy, priorities, decisions, progress, results, and recommendations clearly to engineers, design, marketing and leadership.
Establish scalable product-development practices, including discovery methods, opportunity assessment, prioritization frameworks, planning rhythms, decision records, and post-launch reviews.
Requirements
5+ years of product management experience, including significant ownership of consumer-facing mobile, web, social, gaming, marketplace, or other digital product experiences.
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent practical experience.
Proven track record of taking new products, features, or major initiatives from early discovery and validation through launch and iteration.
Strong product-discovery skills, including experience planning and conducting user interviews, synthesizing qualitative research, testing concepts, and identifying unmet customer needs.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with hands-on experience using product analytics and business-intelligence tools to analyze funnels, cohorts, engagement, retention, and product performance.
Ability to work directly with data using SQL or an equivalent analytical workflow, with enough fluency to independently investigate questions and validate hypotheses.
Experience defining product goals, KPIs, instrumentation requirements, experiment plans, and success criteria.
Demonstrated ability to translate ambiguous opportunities into clear product strategies, roadmaps, requirements, and actionable plans.
Strong prioritization and decision-making skills, including the ability to evaluate trade-offs between user value, business impact, speed, technical complexity, and long-term maintainability.
Experience working closely with designers and engineers to deliver high-quality products in an iterative development environment.
Strong understanding of modern consumer product development, including user-centred design, experimentation, agile delivery, and metrics-informed iteration.
Strong written, verbal, facilitation, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex product decisions clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
Ability to operate independently, create structure, and maintain momentum in an ambiguous, technically complex, and fast-moving zero-to-one environment.
Strong user and customer focus, with the judgement to balance experimentation and speed with trust, privacy, usability, accessibility, and long-term product quality.
Bonus
Experience building social, community, communications, or network-driven consumer products.
Experience in gaming, mobile games, entertainment, or another highly engaged digital consumer category.
Deep knowledge of player behaviours, gaming culture, online communities, and industry trends.
Experience as a founding, first, or sole product manager on an early-stage product team.
Experience with real-time or social product capabilities such as messaging, presence, notifications, activity feeds, groups, identity, discovery, or recommendations.
Experience developing product-led growth loops involving invitations, referrals, sharing, re-engagement, community participation, or network effects.
Advanced experience with SQL, experimentation platforms, data visualization, statistical analysis, or product analytics tools.
Experience building scalable and localized consumer experiences for diverse international markets.
Experience working on trust and safety, privacy, moderation, parental controls, or other sensitive consumer-platform considerations.
Experience launching a new consumer product through private testing, beta, soft launch, and broader market release.
At SIE, we consider several factors when setting each role’s base pay range, including the competitive benchmarking data for the market and geographic location.
Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.

Arcadia is dedicated to happier, healthier days for all. We believe that there is a better healthcare world – one powered by data. Our platform transforms complex, diverse data into a unified foundation for health, helping organizations deliver better care, boost revenue, and lower costs.
We’re a team of fiercely driven individuals committed to making healthcare more sustainable—and we’re looking for passionate people to help us get there.
For more information, visit arcadia.io.
Why This Role Is Important to Arcadia
Analytics sits at the center of how Arcadia turns complex healthcare data into better outcomes and smarter decisions.
On the product side, that means building and owning the productized analytics engines — risk, medical economics, episodes-of-care, and more — that power Arcadia's platform company-wide, built once and delivered at scale across our entire customer base.
On the Customer Insights side, that means going deep on a specific customer's specific problem: custom data models, bespoke dashboards, advisory work, and long-running embedded programs that don't fit a one-size-fits-all product. We describe Customer Insights' work as sitting between a platform and a plan — more customized and hands-on than an off-the-shelf reporting product, more flexible and embedded in the customer's actual decisions than a traditional outsourced consulting engagement.
We're currently hiring for several closely related analyst roles across this broader Analytics organization — spanning ownership of one of Arcadia's core analytics engines, program-specific analytical development for a major state Medicaid risk-stratification initiative, a ground-up registry build for a national quality organization, versatile project and retainer delivery across our health system and payer customers, and dedicated analytics support for a major national health plan's Medicaid program. All of these roles sit at the Senior Analyst or Lead Analyst level, combine technical excellence with real influence over analytic strategy and (for some placements) product direction, and shape how Arcadia and its customers use data to improve population health outcomes, reduce costs, and enable smarter healthcare decisions.
The skills and experience below are characteristic across these roles as a set — not every requirement applies to every specific seat, and we don't expect any one candidate to bring all of it. We'll work with you during the interview process to identify which role is the best fit for your background and interests.
What Success Looks Like
In 3 months
Ramp into your specific engagement's data model, technical stack, and stakeholder relationships — most Customer Insights engagement has real history and context to build into, not a blank slate
Learn Arcadia's core analytics platform and toolset (QuickSight, Foundry, dbt, the AWS ecosystem) as used in your engagement
Deliver your first piece of analytical work that demonstrates clear value to your engagement's stakeholders
In 6 months
Own meaningful pieces of delivery independently — whether that's a program's analytical development, a portfolio of retainer/project work, or a dedicated account's dashboarding and reporting
Be a credible, independent presence in front of the customers or partners tied to your engagement
Contribute to at least one reusable analytical asset, framework, or automation that extends beyond your immediate engagement
Begin taking on the ongoing health of your area, not just its delivery — standing up a backlog/tech-debt process, or growing into a broader backup role alongside your engagement's primary owner, depending on placement
In 12 months
Be a recognized expert in your engagement area, trusted with its most complex or ambiguous work
Actively identify and pursue opportunities for automation, scalability, and reuse across your work
Have grown into deeper ownership than where you started — full backup or co-owner on an account, sole steward of a program's tech-debt and backlog, or, for analytics-engine placements, the architect shaping that engine's roadmap toward being market-leading
What You'll Be Doing
Technical Analytical Delivery
Translate ambiguous or partially-scoped business and clinical questions into a concrete, buildable data plan, then build the underlying data model, code, and analysis on top of it
Develop and maintain analytical pipelines and reusable data assets using SQL, dbt, and Arcadia's core data platform (Foundry, AWS data lake environments)
For analytics-engine placements: serve as the lead analytics strategist for at least one of Arcadia's productized analytics engines (e.g., risk, medical economics, episodes-of-care), owning it end-to-end while contributing to others
For engagements involving predictive or risk models: design and build the models, partnering with a dedicated Data Science team on training and validation — a consultative relationship, not a daily modeling partnership
Build dashboards, provider scorecards, registries,
self-service reporting tools, benchmarking views,
and other analytical deliverables (QuickSight and beyond) on top of that modeling work, as the engagement calls for it
Maintain the analytical integrity and quality of your work, flagging issues before they reach a customer or partner; for senior placements, oversee analytic quality standards and rigor across engagements more broadly, not just your own
Program and Project Management
Manage delivery — whether that's a single program's delivery calendar and decision log, or a portfolio of concurrent projects across multiple customers — surfacing risks and tradeoffs before they become blocking issues
Create client-facing materials — status decks, decision memos, technical explainers — tailored to a range of stakeholders, from highly technical counterparts to policy or business stakeholders with limited technical background
Delegate routine or repeatable work to junior analysts as your engagement grows, and help cross-train others for coverage
Lead cross-functional analytic initiatives that span multiple teams or engagements
Customer and Cross-Functional Partnership
Serve as a primary or supporting day-to-day contact for your engagement's customers or delivery partners, navigating scope and timeline conversations directly
Partner with Customer Management, Growth, Product,
Technical Operations,
and/or Engineering — depending on placement — on account strategy, product direction, or analytics roadmap; for analytics-engine placements, partner closely with product and engineering to deliver Arcadia's analytics roadmap and contribute directly to product innovation
Hold real authority at the boundaries where your work meets someone else's — able to require rework or hold a handoff that isn't ready (e.g., with a partner Data Science team), or push back on what's actually worth building with Customer Management, Growth, or Product
,
rather than defaulting to whatever's asked
Act as an internal thought leader on your area of expertise, contributing to Arcadia's broader analytics strategy and reusable methodology — and, for some placements, an external one, representing Arcadia's analytic capabilities at customer meetings, industry conferences, and in publications
Team Contribution
Mentor and develop junior analysts, building organizational capacity beyond your own individual delivery
Take ownership of your area's long-term health, not just its immediate delivery — a backlog/tech-debt log, a growing backup role on an account, or a roadmap for an analytics engine, depending on placement
Apply AI tooling as a standard part of your workflow — analysis, QA, documentation — not an occasional accelerant
Identify opportunities for automation, scalability, and reusability in analytical delivery, and help build those improvements out
What You'll Bring
Strong SQL and data modeling expertise — able to translate ambiguous business or clinical requirements into a concrete data plan, then build the underlying code and analysis on top of it
Healthcare data experience — claims and/or clinical data, with value-based care familiarity
Direct customer- or partner-facing experience — comfortable scoping and presenting without close oversight
Comfortable adopting AI tooling as a standard part of an analytical workflow
For Lead-level placement: demonstrated experience leading analytical work independently, managing multiple stakeholders, and mentoring less experienced analysts
Note: our experience bar across these roles generally skews toward Lead-level expectations, even for some Senior Analyst placements — but not every skill listed here or below applies to every specific seat.
Would Love For You To Have
Experience with dbt-based analytics engine development (e.g., risk, medical economics, episodes-of-care) and partnering with product/engineering on roadmap
Dashboarding experience — QuickSight or a comparable BI tool
Enough quantitative/ML fluency to build models and hand them to a Data Science team for training
Experience with medical economics, risk algorithms, quality data, and/or episodes-of-care analytics
Statistical or biostatistics fluency — risk-adjustment, odds-ratio, or observed-to-expected benchmarking, etc.
Direct experience with clinical quality or accreditation registries
Prior experience with state Medicaid programs or similar large government health programs
Prior experience in a project-based/retainer delivery model spanning multiple customers, rather than a single dedicated account
Experience working within a prime contractor or partner structure on shared delivery
Experience presenting analytic capabilities externally — customer meetings, industry conferences, publications
Python for analysis and QA; familiarity with the AWS ecosystem, Jira, and Confluence
Experience with data governance or data-product/monetization considerations
Note: this list spans skills relevant to several different roles across the Analytics organization — we don't expect any given candidate to have all of them. Bring what you have; we'll talk through the rest during the interview process.
What You'll Get
Become a member of the talented, energized, diverse and purpose-driven Arcadian Community with decades of collective experience in population health, product development, and data science
Employee driven programs and initiatives for personal and professional development
A flexible, remote-friendly company with personality and heart
Competitive compensation and strong benefits, including Flexible Time Off
The opportunity to:
Own real, high-stakes analytical work across some of Arcadia's most complex customer relationships and highest-visibility internal analytics products
Work across a genuinely varied set of problems — deep technical program ownership, versatile multi-account delivery, or company-wide analytics engines, depending on placement
Build models and analytical assets that directly shape care and coverage decisions for the members and patients they serve
Senior Analyst:
$125,000 – $145,000 a year
Lead Analyst:
$145,000 – $170,000 a year

How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

An overview of this role
As an AI Transformation Owner at GitLab, you'll shape your function's AI strategy and build the solutions that deliver it. You are the person responsible for identifying where AI can fundamentally change how your org operates, partnering with your Executive Sponsor to align on the biggest challenges, and driving measurable outcomes against them.
Think of this as a product management role where the product is your org's way of working. You'll manage the full lifecycle: understanding how work flows today, deciding where AI should reshape it, prioritizing what gets built and in what order, and ensuring what ships actually gets adopted. You'll also prototype solutions, configure agents, and prove what's possible before pulling in engineering support to scale it.
You will work closely with an AI Engineer who sits within the Enterprise AI team. Together you form a partnership: you bring the business context, process intelligence, and strategic prioritization. They bring the technical depth, production-grade delivery, and architecture decisions. You'll build working solutions at the no-code and low-code layer, and partner with the AI Engineer on the right approach, tooling, and structure.
What you'll do
Strategy & Prioritization
Own your function's AI strategy,
aligned with your Executive Sponsor and business priorities. Understand which metrics matter to the org, identify what will move the needle, define how you'll measure impact, and track progress over time.
Map how work flows
across your function end-to-end, including the handoffs upstream and downstream to other orgs. Identify where the real constraints are, not just the ones your team can see. Focus on the 100x problems: where could leveraging AI in a workflow let your org execute it orders of magnitude faster, or at 100x more volume than before?
Manage intake
of AI requests, ideas, and pain points from across the function, including via your Champion network. Ensure every team member has a clear route to surface what they need, rather than building independently.
Prioritize strategically
against business outcomes and executive guidance. Hold the line on priorities - we cannot change direction every two weeks - and ensure the AI Engineer's time is spent on the highest-impact work.
Adoption & Change Management
Reimagine, not just automate.
Challenge your org to think beyond injecting AI into existing workflows. Work with Enterprise AI to spot opportunities to fundamentally rethink how work gets done.
Drive adoption and change management
together with the AI Engineer. The best AI solution is worthless if nobody uses it. Create the channels, rituals, and feedback loops that make AI visible in your function: shared spaces for teams to show what they've built, regular office hours, onboarding for new hires, and celebration of wins. Own the rollout and iteration needed to make AI initiatives stick.
Coordinate with Enterprise AI
to ensure your function benefits from patterns, tools, and learnings emerging across other parts of the business.
Build and bridge the Champion network in your function.
Champions are the peer community that extends your reach beyond what you and the AI Engineer can deliver directly. From early in the role, identify and recruit Champions across sub-teams (5-10% time, formally agreed with their manager), run a regular Champion sync, host demos to the wider function, and act as their bridge to Enterprise AI. Champions are not your reports: you coordinate them, you don't manage them. Without this network, your reach is capped.
Hands-On Building & Agent Operations
Build AI agents
using no-code and low-code platforms (e.g. Glean, Workato, similar tools). Go from idea to working prototype without waiting for engineering.
Author and iterate on skills files
that define how AI agents behave. Refine instructions based on real usage and share reusable skills across the function.
Configure MCP servers and tools,
giving agents access to the business systems they need. Partner with the AI Engineer on what to connect and how to do it securely.
Own your function's fleet of agents.
Some agents will be used directly by people in your org. Those that aren't, you own. Either way, you're accountable for their performance: tracking KPIs, running evaluations after model or data changes, and iterating based on what you learn.
Expect to rebuild.
AI tools and models evolve fast. The agent you built last month may need to be replaced, not patched. You should be comfortable sunsetting your own work when a better approach emerges, and helping your org stay current rather than attached to what exists today.
What you'll bring
Business & Strategic
Deep knowledge of your function's operations.
You understand how work moves through your org, where it gets stuck, and why. You can trace a process end-to-end and explain how it connects to the teams around it.
Strategic prioritization skills.
You've managed competing demands before and can make hard calls about what matters most. You think in terms of business outcomes, not activity.
A product management mindset.
You naturally think about intake, backlog, iteration, and adoption. You're comfortable defining success metrics and holding yourself accountable to them.
Strong communication and influence.
You'll be the person saying "not yet" to some teams and "think bigger" to others. You need the credibility and interpersonal skills to make both of those conversations land.
Cross-functional instincts.
You default to understanding how your org's processes affect and are affected by the teams around you - not just optimising in isolation.
Experience building peer networks or communities of practice.
You've recruited and sustained volunteer contributors before, whether as a guild lead, champion program owner, or community organizer. You know how to motivate people whose time you don't directly own.
Hands-On & Technical
Comfortable building with AI tools.
You don't need to write production code, but you should be able to build a working agent, configure a skill, connect an MCP server, and troubleshoot when something isn't working. Think: power user, not software engineer.
Ready to learn fast.
Experience with or willingness to quickly pick up no-code/low-code AI platforms, prompt engineering, and agent configuration. You'll be trained on GitLab's specific tooling, but you should arrive ready to get your hands dirty.
Strong conceptual understanding of AI capabilities
- summarization, classification, generation, automation, agentic workflows - and a commitment to staying current. The landscape shifts constantly. The tools you use today may be obsolete in weeks. You stay on top of new developments so that your org's AI strategy reflects what's actually possible, not what was possible six months ago.
Ability to map data flows
- structured and unstructured. Understand where agents need context, and figure out where humans should interface with automated workflows and at what steps.
About the team
You will partner closely with Enterprise AI within the Enterprise Technology & AI organization, while remaining embedded in your own function. Enterprise AI provides the technical delivery capability, platforms, and patterns. You provide the business context, prioritization, building at the no-code layer, and adoption muscle. Together, you form the core of your function's AI transformation.

About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role
Training and serving frontier AI models requires compute infrastructure at a scale and density that pushes past what conventional data center designs were built to handle. Anthropic’s Data Center team is responsible for delivering that physical infrastructure — partnering with build partners, equipment manufacturers, and utilities to stand up facilities that can reliably power some of the largest accelerator clusters in the industry.
As a Data Center Electrical Engineer based in the US, you’ll lead the electrical design of our facilities across our rapidly expanding US portfolio — owning the architecture from the utility service entrance through to the rack. You’ll develop and maintain the reference designs and specifications our build partners work against, review their engineering submittals, and run the analysis needed to make confident decisions on topology, redundancy, and equipment selection. You’ll ensure the electrical architecture keeps pace with rapidly increasing rack densities and the unique load characteristics of large-scale ML training.
A central part of this role is speed-to-capacity through prefabrication and modular construction. You’ll help drive Anthropic’s offsite-manufactured electrical strategy — modular skids, e-houses, and prefabricated power assemblies — that compress schedules and reduce onsite labor. You’ll bring deep familiarity with US electrical codes and the local network and regulatory environment, and act as Anthropic’s on-the-ground electrical subject-matter expert with local utilities and interconnection/transmission operators (e.g., ISOs/RTOs), agencies having jurisdiction, vendors, and contractors. This is also a highly cross-functional role: you’ll work with our hardware and compute teams to translate accelerator requirements into electrical design criteria, and with supply chain to qualify regional equipment vendors and create optionality in a constrained market.
Responsibilities
Electrical design & engineering
Lead the electrical design of critical data center equipment across the US portfolio, including utility interface and substation, site-wide medium-/high-voltage infrastructure, generators, uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), switchgear, transformers, and grounding systems.
Develop and maintain Anthropic’s electrical basis of design, reference architectures, and technical specifications for critical power distribution — covering switchgear, UPS systems, PDUs, busway, and rack power delivery — producing designs that meet or exceed our quality requirements while staying within budgetary targets.
Perform and validate engineering studies including short-circuit, protection coordination, arc flash, load flow, and power quality analysis; use findings to steer design decisions and equipment selection.
Read, interpret, and validate data center floor plans and technical drawings, and design and plan DC hall layouts for newly allocated spaces — including rack positioning, structured cabling, power distribution, and coordination with the cooling design.
Prefabrication & modular delivery
Drive Anthropic’s prefabricated and modular electrical strategy — developing modular skids, e-houses, and prefabricated power assemblies, and partnering with external engineering and manufacturing teams to evaluate DC construction efficiency opportunities and a productization roadmap that accelerates deployment and reduces onsite labor.
Design for offsite manufacture and onsite assembly: coordinate the interface between prefabricated components and onsite installation, and manage temporary power sequencing tied to commissioning milestones.
Drive standardization of modular electrical designs across sites to accelerate deployment timelines while preserving flexibility for site-specific constraints and evolving hardware generations.
Partner, vendor & utility coordination
Review and approve electrical design packages, submittals, and shop drawings from build partners and MEP consultants, ensuring designs meet capacity, reliability, and maintainability requirements; review proposed technologies and clarify design justifications.
Work with regional vendors and manufacturers to specify the appropriate electrical equipment, and partner with supply chain to build a diversified vendor base that mitigates lead-time and single-source risk.
Work with local utilities and interconnection/transmission operators (e.g., ISOs/RTOs) to understand and define site utility and network connection requirements, and with local agencies having jurisdiction to ensure compliance with the National Electrical Code (NFPA 70/NEC), NFPA, IEEE, and ANSI requirements, and other jurisdictional requirements.
Present findings and proposals to internal stakeholders and DCO teams through clear reports and presentations, and defend design positions when challenged.
Delivery, construction & commissioning
Define project scope and provide technical support for information requests prior to and during construction; coordinate and oversee the implementation of data center infrastructure with vendors, contractors, and internal teams, ensuring work follows approved designs and complies with safety, regulatory, and operational standards.
Work with commissioning teams to test and validate the installation, operation, and performance of electrical systems; resolve field engineering issues and review test results against design intent.
Manage concurrent projects across multiple geographies, and travel to sites for design review, electrical systems audits, engineering evaluations, and startup support alongside onsite field engineers.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of Anthropic’s internal electrical design standards and delivery practices, and act as a leader within the global engineering group and across the internal and external teams that support our data centers.
You may be a good fit if you
Have 10+ years of electrical engineering experience in mission-critical facilities, with substantial time spent on data center or other high-availability electrical distribution design across the project lifecycle — from concept design through construction, commissioning, and handover.
Have deep familiarity with US electrical codes and standards — including the National Electrical Code (NFPA 70/NEC), NFPA 70E (electrical safety), IEEE standards (e.g., 1584 for arc flash), and UL/ANSI equipment standards (e.g., UL 891, UL 1558 for switchgear) — and with local utility interconnection and regulatory requirements (utility interconnection processes, ISO/RTO market rules).
Have hands-on experience with prefabricated and modular data center electrical infrastructure — design for offsite manufacture, modular skids/e-houses, and the coordination between prefabricated components and onsite assembly.
Hold a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field; RPEQ or CPEng registration (or eligibility) is valued but not required.
Have hands-on experience producing and reviewing electrical construction documents, single-line diagrams, and equipment specifications, and can interpret data center schematics and technical layouts with confidence.
Have strong knowledge of rack layout, structured cabling, power distribution, and cooling infrastructure in high-availability data center environments.
Are fluent in power systems analysis and comfortable running or critically reviewing studies in tools such as SKM, ETAP, or EasyPower.
Understand critical power topologies (2N, N+1, distributed redundant, block redundant) and can articulate the trade-offs between them for different reliability and cost targets.
Have worked directly with electrical equipment manufacturers, vendors, and contractors, and can evaluate products on technical merit, not just datasheet claims.
Communicate clearly with both technical peers and non-specialist stakeholders, and are results-oriented, with a bias toward practical solutions and a willingness to pick up work outside your core remit when the team needs it.
Strong candidates may also have
Direct project experience delivering data centers in multiple US markets (e.g., Virginia, Texas, Arizona, Ohio, Oregon) and deep familiarity with the National Electrical Code (NFPA 70), NFPA 70E, and the IEEE color book series alongside the US standards above.
A track record building modular prefabricated products in electrical or mechanical areas of the data center, and driving designs toward offsite manufacturing.
Background in medium-/high-voltage distribution, on-site generation, or energy storage integration, including battery energy storage systems (BESS) and renewable generation sources.
Exposure to liquid-cooled infrastructure and its implications for electrical room layout and load distribution.
Prior work at a hyperscaler, colocation provider, or MEP consultancy serving large data center clients.
Experience driving reference designs or standards adopted across multiple sites or by external partners.

Are able to travel up to ~30% to data center sites across the region.
Strong candidates may also have
15+ years of experience designing building mechanical systems for data centers or mission-critical facilities.
Direct project experience delivering data centers in multiple U.S. markets (e.g., Virginia, Ohio, Texas, Arizona, Oregon).
Experience with thermal-hydraulic modeling software (AFT Fathom, Cadence 6SigmaET, ANSYS, or similar), CFD modeling, and energy analysis.
Familiarity with controls/BAS systems and sequences of operation for cooling plants.
Experience preparing SOWs, facility audits, and TCO analyses.
A track record building modular prefabricated products in mechanical or electrical areas of the data center, and driving designs toward offsite manufacturing.
Proficiency with Revit MEP or AutoCAD MEP.

About GiveDirectly
What if the most effective way to fight poverty was also the simplest: give people money and trust them to decide what they need?
Since 2011, GiveDirectly has proven that idea at scale. We’ve delivered more than $1B in cash directly to 2+ million people living in poverty and crisis across 15 countries, and rigorous research shows the results: healthier kids, stronger businesses, sturdier homes, and more resilient families and local economies. Cash is now widely recognized as one of the most scalable, cost-effective, and dignified forms of aid.
Our ambition goes beyond our own programs. We want cash to become the benchmark for aid, much as the index fund became the benchmark for investing, so that every aid dollar is held to one question:
is this doing more good than giving the money directly to people living in poverty?
We’re growing fast, and this is a rare and important moment to join.
We expect to hit $1B in revenue in 2026 with significant growth forecast for 2027. At the same time we are building a new technology stack and operating model designed for a roughly 10x change in scale, and we are actively pursuing partnerships with major funders to move even more money in bigger ways, to people who need it. We are known for our extensive integration of technology into field processes; our quantitative approach to performance measurement; and our commitment to rigorous, independent, experimental evaluation of our impact, with multiple Randomized Control Trials completed and others in progress.
How we work
Our team spans 20+ countries and 69 languages. Our culture is candid, analytical, and non-hierarchical. We expect high ownership and give people real responsibility early. Our values are central to how we hire, work, and grow, and they are deliberately opinionated:
Recipients first.
Recipients’ preferences come before those of donors or ourselves.
Team next.
We optimize for organizational success, not individual success.
Be proactively candid.
We say what we believe and share information openly.
Create positive energy.
We aim to be a source of energy for colleagues, not a drain.
Think rigorously; act quickly.
We reason from first principles, then act rather than debate.
Know yourself and grow.
We own our imperfections and seek feedback to grow.
Accept reality. Propose solutions.
We focus on what can change and bring solutions, not just problems.
Be productively ambitious.
We take risks for step-change impact, not incremental progress.
If they describe how you like to work and they energize you, this could be a great fit.

Priority application deadline:
Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis. Early applications are heavily encouraged.
We’re growing at incredible speed, and expect to hit $1B in revenue in 2026 with significant growth forecast for 2027. We’re hiring a
Chief Technology Officer
to lead the building and rebuilding of the technology, systems and ways of working that will enable a sustained $5B+ p/a operation.
You will build software that safely and securely moves billions of dollars to millions of vulnerable people in some of the poorest and highest need parts of the world. This will require applying excellent engineering, team building and organizational judgment to complex, high-stakes operations: identity and fraud management, machine learning on large but imperfect datasets (cell phone data, satellite imagery, government registries), mobile money integrations, low-connectivity environments, rapidly evolving requirements all in diverse regulatory environments and country contexts. You’ll need to keep our legacy technology stack stable and performant, while in parallel building new systems from the ground up for our next level of scale.
You will lead engineering, data, security and enterprise technology – with a small, mighty and rapidly growing engineering team of ~15, and the expectation that this can at least double to ~30 in the next 12 months if you want it to. You’ll report to a CEO with deep experience running technology companies, and partner with our VP Product.
This role is remote, with working hours between US Eastern Time and East African Time, and some preference for candidates in our office hubs of New York, London, or Nairobi.
What we’re looking for:
An exceptional hirer, manager and organizer of technical talent.
Proven record identifying, hiring, developing and retaining excellent engineers and engineering leaders, and creating team processes that consistently deliver software with quality and velocity.
Deep technical judgment, applied close to the work.
You can evaluate major designs, pressure-test architecture and build-vs-buy decisions, and recognize when a team is heading the wrong way, without becoming the primary implementer. Low-ego: you’ll investigate a problem yourself when that’s what the situation requires.
Business judgment and decisiveness under ambiguity.
You’re not just a technical leader, you’re also a business executive. You understand the business, are a strong cross-functional partner, and have a history of good judgment when navigating tradeoffs of long vs. short term, speed, reliability, security, flexibility, cost, technical quality, and user impact.
AI first.
You have a point of view on where AI meaningfully changes engineering productivity and organizational capability, and you’ve moved a team from experimentation to real, measured use. You can set the tools, culture, goals, and guardrails that leverage the opportunities and mitigate the risks of an AI first engineering culture.
Embody and set an example for GD values.
We take
our values
incredibly seriously, and expect our leaders to embody, nurture, and promote them in the way they work and the teams they build.
Advantages, not requirements.
Experience in an operationally complex or regulated domain (fintech, payments, humanitarian response, global development); systems involving financial controls, fraud risk, identity, or sensitive recipient data; operating across multiple countries, particularly lower-income or infrastructure-constrained ones; leading both modern product engineering and enterprise technology.
What you’ll do
Define our technology vision and target stack.
Own the technical strategy for technology-first delivery at $5B+/year: architecture, platforms, build-vs-buy, and what we retire. Work with executive, product, finance, risk, and data leaders to turn program and product strategy into a sequenced, credible portfolio of technical investments.
Balance a demanding portfolio.
You'll manage six workstreams that all matter and won't all move at once: (1) building our new cash delivery stack (remote-first verification, fraud prevention, massive volume) (2) stabilizing our legacy stack until switchover, then managing the migration; (3) donor-facing fundraising products; (4) our global emergency cash system (and eventual white-labelling of that product); (5) enterprise technology; (6) internal tooling, platform, and cybersecurity. Deciding sequencing and staffing across these (and saying "not yet" credibly) is the job.
Build and grow an exceptional technology organization.
Recruit outstanding engineering and technology talent, design the org GiveDirectly needs at its next stage of scale (engineering, product, data, security, infrastructure, enterprise systems), and create the accountability, decision rights, and career paths to sustain high talent density. Grow the engineering team from 15 to ~30 with a lean but durable management structure.
Own the technical direction and quality bar.
Guide consequential decisions on integrations, data, security, reliability, and technical debt. Ensure our systems can safely support a major increase in transaction volume, geographic reach, and organizational dependence on technology. Set a pragmatic quality bar appropriate to high-stakes financial delivery while preserving speed.
Lead across organizational boundaries.
Serve as a member of GiveDirectly’s executive team, reporting to the CEO and bringing technology into major strategic and operating decisions. Help non-technical leaders understand technical constraints and costs, build credibility with country and functional leaders by understanding their realities, and force clarity when priorities, ownership, or tradeoffs are ambiguous.
Travel.
Approximately 4–6 trips per year, including visits to GiveDirectly countries of operation.
Compensation
At GiveDirectly, we strive to pay our employees generously and equitably. We use an accredited third party salary aggregator to calculate what we believe to be competitive pay based on role, location, and cost of living. We also have a no negotiation policy so pay is consistent across comparable roles.
Total Compensation (US) of $366,000 – $518,000
comprised of:
Base Salary: $300,000 – $375,000
Bonus: $45,000-$112,000 (bonus is % based and decided based on org-wide performance, we will share full methodology during the hiring process)
Annual Benefits Stipend: ~$21,000

Annual Benefits Stipend: $8,453
If you are not based in one of the countries listed above, we will share an estimated salary benchmark for the country you are based in during the hiring process.

Why This Role Is Important to Arcadia
At Arcadia, the Enterprise Implementation Manager (EIM) is the customer's primary point of accountability from contract signature through the life of the relationship. The EIM manages a portfolio of enterprise accounts, leading each customer through onboarding and the technical work required to bring them live — including project managing new data connector builds — but the role exists to protect and grow the value the customer realizes from Arcadia's platform. EIMs proactively build the client relationship, drive adoption, resolve risk before it threatens retention, and act as the customer's trusted advisor long after go-live, ensuring customer value is clearly tracked & regularly reviewed.
The ideal candidate is a relationship-first operator: someone who can run a technical delivery workstream competently, but who is just as comfortable owning a client conversation, coaching a teammate, or spotting an account risk before it becomes a retention problem.
What Success Looks Like
In 3 months
Complete onboarding and current product and enablement certifications; build a working understanding of the platform, data model, and Arcadia's customer success playbooks. The optional Arcadia Certified Professional program is available for continued growth. Shadow tactical client touchpoints and status conversations to learn how EIMs build trust and manage expectations across a client relationship
Take ownership of a defined workstream — for example, project managing a new data connector build — with support from your manager and technical partners
In 6 months
Independently manage cross-team workflows (data integration, configuration, connector builds) while keeping priorities visible and surfacing risk early
Lead tactical client conversations and standing touchpoints, delivering clear, timely updates that keep stakeholders aligned and confident
Proactively identify and escalate delivery or account risk, applying established playbooks to resolve issues efficiently and maintain momentum
Begin building trusted relationships with client stakeholders, understanding their unique technical and business priorities
Contribute to Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), Executive Business Reviews (EBRs), or steering committees for your accounts, and become fluent in maintaining account health scores in Planhat
Build fluency with Arcadia's customer feedback channels, including the Customer Satisfaction Score (CSAT), as part of engaging your accounts
In 12 months
Own a portfolio of enterprise accounts as the primary point of contact — coordinating delivery, connector project management, and ongoing value acceleration & account health under one roof
Drive accountability for on-time, high-quality delivery of commitments, from new data connector implementations to platform adoption milestones
Independently lead recurring QBRs, EBRs, or steering committees, and own the Planhat health score and NPS trajectory for your portfolio, working toward a consistently green status
Partner effectively with the Customer Growth and Retention (CGR) team on renewal and expansion conversations, providing account context and continuity while CGR owns the commercial process
Identify and document process or value improvements, contributing refinements that strengthen delivery consistency and customer outcomes
Share lessons learned and best practices with peers, informally mentoring newer EIMs and Project Associates
What You'll Be Doing
Customer Relationship & Trust
Own a portfolio of enterprise accounts, serving as the customer's primary point of contact throughout the engagement.
Lead tactical status conversations and standing project meetings, delivering clear, timely updates on progress, risk, and next steps.
Facilitate regular touchpoints to align priorities, answer client questions, and maintain stakeholder trust.
Prepare accurate, client-ready documentation and materials that support transparent communication.
Account Health & Governance
Serve as the customer's primary point of accountability for delivery outcomes and overall account health across your portfolio.
Lead recurring QBRs, EBRs, or steering committees with client leadership, tying progress to shared goals, ROI, and next steps.
Maintain each account's health score in Planhat, incorporating usage, engagement, and other signals; own the goal of moving accounts toward a consistently green status. Contribute to your segment's (Core, Enterprise, or National) Net Promoter Score (NPS), which factors into incentive compensation at the segment level rather than by individual account.
Build fluency with Arcadia's customer feedback channels — including CSAT — as part of the company's growing Voice-of-Customer program.
Partner with the CGR team on renewal and expansion conversations, providing account context, continuity, and delivery insight; CGR owns the commercial renewal and upsell process.
Proactively identify and escalate delivery and account risk; apply established playbooks to resolve issues efficiently.
Maintain project and account momentum through consistent follow-through and clear ownership of open items.
Drive accountability for commitments by managing dependencies and communicating progress across all workstreams.
Implementation & Data Connector Project Management
Project-manage new data connector builds and platform configuration workstreams from kickoff through validation and go-live.
Ensure smooth data orchestration through configuration validation, and maintain detailed documentation of process flows and integrations.
Partner cross-functionally with Data & Health Platform (DHP) teams and engineering to resolve data alignment issues and strengthen reporting reliability.
Cross-Functional Coordination
Manage workflows to maintain alignment and efficiency across internal teams, third parties, and the client.
Coordinate delivery activities and track interdependencies so priorities stay visible and risks surface early.
Ensure project team collaboration and escalate promptly if a workstream is tracking behind.
Value Realization & Continuous Improvement
Identify and document process or workflow enhancements that improve customer outcomes and internal efficiency.
Contribute to continuous improvement by sharing refinements and strengthening knowledge capture across projects.
Connect delivery and account activities to the customer's broader adoption and value-realization goals.
Coaching & Knowledge Sharing
Share lessons learned and best practices from client engagements with peers and newer team members.
Apply feedback to continuously refine your own skills and performance, modeling a growth mindset for the team.
AI & Technology Fluency
Thoughtfully leverage AI and emerging technologies to improve outcomes, increase efficiency, and enhance decision-making across your portfolio — for example, in health-score analysis, QBR preparation, and account documentation.
Apply sound judgment around risk, privacy, security, and quality when using AI tools, and continuously build fluency in evolving practices.
What You'll Bring
Bachelor's degree in a related field.
At least 3 years leading account implementation and customer success processes in software/technology, ideally in healthcare, with claims and clinical data integration experience.
In-depth knowledge of project management & customer success principles, tools, and methods; ability to identify and mitigate project- and account-level risk.
Extensive healthcare industry experience, including population health and value-based care; ability to master Arcadia's solutions, client strategic context, and industry trends well enough to advise clients as a trusted partner.
Demonstrated ability to own a portfolio of client relationships over time — not just a project — including retention-oriented communication and stakeholder management.
Willingness and ability to travel to client sites, executive business reviews, and industry conferences — typically quarterly, with increased frequency depending on client activity and event schedules.
Would Love for You to Have
Excellent presentation and communication skills, including the ability to build client-ready materials in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word, and lead meetings with executive, operational, clinical, and technical stakeholders.
Experience with customer health/success platforms (e.g., Planhat) and account health-scoring methodologies.
Experience partnering with a growth, renewal, or account management team on commercial conversations without owning the commercial process directly.
Strong problem-solving, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
A team-first attitude and the ability to foster collaboration within and across project teams, including remote teams.
Experience coaching or informally mentoring less experienced teammates.
What You'll Get
Competitive compensation and strong benefits, including Flexible Time Off
Employee-driven programs and initiatives for personal and professional development.
Membership in the talented, energized, diverse, and purpose-driven Arcadian Community

Go To Market ("GTM") Systems builds and runs the platform that Sales and contracting operate on, a production Salesforce org plus a growing portfolio of custom internal applications and agents. These systems process revenue-impacting transactions, guide critical business processes, and produce data the rest of the company runs on. Today the path from request, development, test, and pull request to production push is manual and slows the team down rather than speeding it up.
We are hiring a DevOps / AgentOps engineer to build and run that path. You will stand up and maintain an AI-first CI/CD pipeline covering both Salesforce and custom application code. This release pipeline will support three modes: fully agentic, human-in-the-loop, and AI-assisted. Anthropic is an unusual place to do this. Our own frontier models are part of the toolkit and the question we want you to answer is what a delivery system looks like when you design it for agents and humans working side by side rather than retrofitting agents into a pipeline built for humans alone.
You will work closely with a team of business systems analysts, software engineers, and integration engineers to develop the solution to accelerate their everyday work. The pipeline you build is the one path to production for a system under audit, so the guardrails, approvals, and audit trail are part of the product, not an afterthought.
Key responsibilities
Design, build, and operate the CI/CD pipeline for a production Salesforce org and a portfolio of custom internal applications, from branching and validation through deploy and rollback
Define how a change is classified and routed into an agentic, human-in-the-loop, or AI-assisted lane, what gates each lane passes through, and how a change escalates between lanes when validation fails or risk changes
Build the agent operations layer: what agents are scoped to do in the pipeline, what tools and permissions they hold, how they are sandboxed differently for Salesforce and custom-app work, and what they are not trusted to do unsupervised
Implement approval workflows that keep PR review and business sign-off as distinct gates, with clear rules for which changes need which, who is asked, and what evidence they see
Own environment strategy, secrets handling, deploy observability, and kill-switch and rollback mechanics across all three lanes
Produce the audit trail and evidence a SOX-scoped platform needs
Measure and report on the pipeline itself: lead time, failure rate, share of work moving through each lane, and where humans are still doing work an agent should be doing
Pair with engineers on the team as they move onto the pipeline, and turn what you learn from them into better defaults
Minimum qualifications
Have built and run a CI/CD pipeline for a team, including the branching model, merge gating, and rollback path, and can explain the choices you made and what you would change
Have hands-on experience with Salesforce deployment mechanics (metadata API, source-tracked development, org-to-org promotion) or a comparable enterprise platform
Work fluently with AI coding tools and agentic workflows, and have opinions about which kinds of engineering work belong in the hands of an agent, which need a human review, and where the boundaries are
Design for the failure case: you think about blast radius, sandboxing, permissions, and what happens when an automated change is wrong before you think about the happy path
Are comfortable working across GitHub Actions or a comparable CI system, infrastructure as code, and the scripting needed to glue platforms together
Write clear design documents and can defend a design to engineers, business approvers, and auditors in language each of them will accept
Preferred qualifications
Have shipped agents or automation that operate inside a production system of record, and have dealt with what happens when they misbehave
Have operated a platform under SOX or a similar audit regime and know what evidence a change-management control actually requires
Have experience with Salesforce DevOps tooling (Gearset, Copado, sfdx-based pipelines) and know where those tools stop and custom work begins
Have run a migration from ad hoc or manual deploys to a governed pipeline and can talk about how you kept a team shipping while you did it
Have built approval or notification workflows in Slack or a comparable tool that people actually used
The annual compensation range for this role is listed below.
For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role.
Annual Salary:
$320,000
—
$405,000 USD
Logistics
Minimum education:
Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
Required field of study:
A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience
Minimum years of experience:
Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position
Location-based hybrid policy:
Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices.
Visa sponsorship:
We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this.
We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification.
Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed. Research shows that people who identify as being from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy, so we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to submit an application if you're interested in this work. We think AI systems like the ones we're building have enormous social and ethical implications. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team.
Your safety matters to us.
To protect yourself from potential scams, remember that Anthropic recruiters only contact you from @anthropic.com email addresses. In some cases, we may partner with vetted recruiting agencies who will identify themselves as working on behalf of Anthropic. Be cautious of emails from other domains.

Anthropic is building AI systems that will shape the trajectory of one of the most consequential technologies in human history. That work requires physical infrastructure at significant scale, and building that infrastructure the right way means being a real, long-term partner to the communities where we operate.
We are looking for a Community Engagement Manager in Australia to join our Public Policy team and serve as Anthropic's on-the-ground presence in the communities where our data centres are sited, built, and operated. This is not a communications role or a government affairs role, though you will do elements of both. It is a relationship role: your job is to make Anthropic a trusted, visible, and valued neighbour, from the earliest stages of site selection through construction and long-term operations.
You will be the connective tissue between Anthropic's Policy and Infrastructure teams and the local officials, community organisations, economic development partners, and residents who have a stake in what we build. You will surface concerns before they escalate, translate our technical and operational plans into clear local benefits, and build the coalitions that allow us to move quickly and responsibly. Because Anthropic's infrastructure footprint is still early in its growth, you will also help write the playbook: the processes you build in your first markets are the ones we will use as we expand.
You will travel regularly within your region, up to 50% of the time, and occasionally to other Anthropic data centre markets.
Key responsibilities
Build and maintain trusted, sustained relationships with local councils, state government ministers and agencies, regional development organisations, community groups, civic leaders, educational institutions, and workforce partners in the data centre markets you cover
Develop and execute a community engagement strategy for each of your markets, spanning site selection, pre-development, construction, and ongoing operations
Build external coalitions, host education and listening sessions, and design local solutions that deliver real benefits to the communities where we operate
Represent Anthropic in public forums, town halls, planning hearings, community events, and local media
Monitor community sentiment and local political dynamics, and advise internal teams on risks, opportunities, and the right pace and posture for engagement
Partner with the Real Estate and Infrastructure team to bring community input into how projects are planned, communicated, and delivered, not just how they are announced
Work with the Communications team to develop proactive, locally relevant messaging
Coordinate charitable donations, community investment, and economic development commitments in your markets, including managing not for profit partner relationships
Partner with the Energy and Sustainability team to explain our approach to environmental stewardship and respond to questions about power, water, and land use
Build a community engagement playbook and repeatable processes that scale as Anthropic's infrastructure footprint grows
Minimum qualifications
Experience in community affairs, public affairs, economic development, government relations, local council or state government, or a closely related field
Direct experience working for or engaging with local councils, both elected councillors and council staff, and state governments on behalf of large infrastructure, construction, energy, or technology projects, with a working understanding of how local politics and community dynamics actually play out
A skilled relationship and coalition builder who earns trust with a diverse group of stakeholders, and who maintains relationships through difficult conversations
The ability to represent a company credibly in public settings — town halls, hearings, press interviews
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to turn a complex operational plan into plain language that a local official or reporter can understand and respond to
The ability to work independently, get up to speed quickly on complex policy issues, and manage multiple concurrent engagements across different markets without losing track of any of them
Based in Australia or willing to relocate there, and prepared to travel regularly across the region
Preferred qualifications
7+ years of experience in community engagement specifically on data centre, utility, energy, or large-scale industrial infrastructure projects, or in local government
Familiarity with land use, zoning, and planning approval processes at the local and regional level
Experience managing corporate social responsibility programs
Established relationships with economic development, workforce, or civic organisations in the markets this role covers
Experience working with real estate, legal, communications, and policy teams at the same time
A genuine interest in the communities where you work, not just the projects you are managing

How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts.
Governments do some of the most consequential work there is: deciding benefits claims, getting veterans to care, investigating financial misconduct, running unemployment insurance, and producing the analysis that world leaders act on. Anthropic's public sector team exists to put Claude in the production path of that work. In the US and some allied governments, Claude is already in daily use across major agencies and US states.
The next steps need a particular kind of product manager: someone who can walk into an institution they have never worked with, sit with the people doing the work and find, alongside them, the workflow that matters. The best government products we know of started as an idea that came out of the room rather than a requirements document.
The scope is large: a product portfolio here is a set of governments rather than a feature area. A year in, success looks like agencies delivering services more effectively because public servants are doing core parts of their job with Claude in the loop, and at least one thing that you learn from them shipping to every Anthropic enterprise. That is a lot of surface; you will have to choose where to go deep, and we will back the choice.
We are hiring across civilian, state and local, govtech, and national security portfolios and will match you to one on background and interest. Some portfolios require eligibility for a US security clearance, though most do not. You would be among the first product managers on the team, working with a dedicated engineering and research team and with the policy, go-to-market, customer success, and applied AI leads who already spend their days inside these agencies.
In this role, you will:
Alongside GTM, run discovery inside government institutions to find where Claude belongs in the production path of their work, then shape the product around what you find
Own product decisions for our government models and product offerings and the agency workflows built on top of them
Spot the government needs worth generalizing and carry them into Anthropic's broader roadmap. Many of Anthropic’s commercial features started as public-sector customer problems
Help Anthropic navigate government compliance regimes
Partner with our cloud and integration partners
You may be a good fit if you:
Have shipped successful products end-to-end. We weigh product judgment above any domain credential
Can point to something you built that was your idea: it came from watching people work rather than from a requirements document
Get things done through teams that don't report to you. In addition to the dedicated team, this role runs through a variety of partner teams inside Anthropic and many offices inside each agency.
Move on your own clock. You have shipped in an organization with a fast cadence, or you set the pace in an environment that didn't
Have built domain intuition fast in large enterprises that do not resemble each other
Are a US person. We have agreements with the US Government that mandate this for these roles.
Strong candidates may also have:

About the Role
We’re looking for a strong communications contractor to support OpenAI’s vertical communications work across health, education, and personal finance. These are deeply personal, high-impact areas where trust, clarity, and responsible storytelling are especially important. This person will help communicate how OpenAI’s models and ChatGPT capabilities can be useful to people in real-world moments, while helping ensure our narratives are credible, thoughtful, and aligned with OpenAI’s mission.
This role is ideal for someone who can move quickly from strategy to execution, bring strong editorial judgment, and partner well across product, policy, legal, marketing, research, and communications teams.
In this role, you will:
- Support launch execution for priority vertical moments, from messaging development and launch planning to media strategy, stakeholder coordination, and post-launch follow-through.
- Own ongoing proactive campaigns across verticals, partnering cross-functionally to identify strong storylines, build campaign calendars, and move work from idea to execution.
- Translate complex technical product work and broader OpenAI progress into clear, audience-specific narratives tailored to health, education, personal finance, and other priority audiences.
- Draft and refine high-quality communications materials, including messaging, pitches, briefing docs, talking points, FAQs, launch plans, media strategies, and executive-ready summaries.
- Keep a strong pulse on external sentiment, media narratives, and emerging risks, helping manage brand considerations while unblocking dependencies and keeping campaigns moving.
- Build trusted relationships with cross-functional partners and help create clarity across fast-moving, sometimes ambiguous workstreams.
You might thrive in this role if you:
- Are a strong writer and editor who can make complex or technical topics feel clear, grounded, and human.
- Have sound judgment around sensitive, trust-heavy topics and know how to balance opportunity, risk, and nuance.
- Are highly organized and comfortable managing multiple launches, campaigns, stakeholders, deadlines, and approvals at once.
- Can operate independently, move quickly, and bring structure to ambiguous work without needing heavy oversight.
