ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re looking for a sharp, user-focused UX Researcher to help shape and improve the overall player experience. You’ll act as the voice of the user by conducting research, uncovering behavioral insights, and turning those findings into clear, actionable product decisions.
You’ll work closely with Product, Design, and Data teams, ensuring that product decisions are driven by real user needs and behaviors rather than assumptions. This is a high-impact opportunity for someone who enjoys working with ambiguity, finding meaningful insights, and turning research into measurable product outcomes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- User Research Operations — Plan and execute qualitative and quantitative research studies including user interviews, surveys, usability tests, and diary studies across the full player journey.

- Competitor & Market Research — Conduct structured competitive analysis of sweepstakes casino products to benchmark our UX against industry standards and identify gaps.
- Wireframing & Prototyping — Use Figma or Visily to translate research insights into wireframes, user flows, and low-to-mid fidelity prototypes that guide product and design decisions.
- User Personas & Journey Mapping — Develop and maintain player personas, customer journey maps, and mental models that inform product strategy and prioritization.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration — Work directly with Product Managers, Designers, and Developers to embed user insights into the product lifecycle from ideation through launch.
- Stakeholder Reporting — Document and present research findings clearly to stakeholders, making complex insights accessible and actionable.
- UX Standards — Champion user-centered design principles, accessibility standards, and usability best practices across all product initiatives.
- Continuous Discovery — Proactively identify new research questions, monitor industry UX trends, and propose process improvements to keep our research function sharp.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in UX research, with a portfolio or case studies demonstrating research-to-product impact.
- Proficiency in Figma and/or Visily for wireframing, prototyping, and user flow design.
- Proven experience conducting user interviews, usability testing, and surveys — both moderated and unmoderated.
- Familiarity with analytics and behavioral tools such as Mixpanel, Hotjar, FullStory, or Google Analytics.
- Strong analytical mindset — ability to synthesize qualitative and quantitative data into clear, prioritized insights.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to present research clearly to non-research audiences.
- Advanced AI user — comfortable leveraging AI tools to accelerate research synthesis, generate interview guides, and surface patterns at scale.
- English fluency required.
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience in sweepstakes casino, online gaming, fintech, or consumer subscription products.
- Experience working in fast-paced startup or scale-up environments.
- Exposure to game mechanics, reward loops, or player psychology research.

We are seeking a sharp, highly data-oriented, and tenacious Fraud Specialist to join our team. You will be part of a company that is the category leader in Communications Platform as a Service (CPaaS), an organization working with the largest customers and partners, and a team of operators and former consultants that have delivered exceptional impact. If you have an extreme owner / founder mindset and a desire to solve big challenges, you’ll find yourself at home.
Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll:
Advise account managers, accounting, and management on best practices to handle billing disputes
Negotiate with customers and carriers with an understanding of resolution levers available as per contractual terms and industry norms
Identify, analyze, and handle fraudulent misuse (such as Artificially Inflated Traffic) and billing errors (such as rate differences) with both vendors and customers
Own the end-to-end lifecycle of customer and vendor disputes from intake of disputes to initiating disputes, tracking progress, and ensuring timely, documented resolution
Uncover and resolve discrepancies, overcharges, and unpaid balances with carriers and customers due to quantities, rates, currency, and other root causes
Dig into call and messaging data to identify why bills don’t match or find evidence of fraud
Build dashboards that communicate key metrics related to the lifecycle of disputes
Read contracts and interpret what should be the invoice versus what it is
Act as the primary point of contact to negotiate dispute resolutions, settlements, and payment terms in accordance with company practices
Partner closely with data analytics, engineering, and accounting to reconcile accounts
Qualifications
Twilio values diverse experiences from all kinds of industries, and we encourage everyone who meets the required qualifications to apply. If your career is just starting or hasn't followed a traditional path, don't let that stop you from considering Twilio. We are always looking for people who will bring something new to the table!

Experience in project management.
Experience wrangling data with Excel / Google Sheets, Looker or SQL.
Desired:
Understanding of the A2P SMS ecosystem, international traffic routing, international revenue share fraud (IRSF), artificially inflated traffic (AIT) and the ecosystem profit chains.
Understanding of industry standards with respect to AIT and fraud handling such as frameworks from i3forum, GSMA, MEF or ITW Global Leaders’ Forum.

The Role
As part of Checkout.com’s #NextGen Early Careers Program, we are looking for an ambitious Finance Analyst Apprentice to join our fast-paced EU Finance department. Reporting directly to the Regional Finance Director, you will work alongside experienced professionals, gain hands-on experience, and join a global community with technical training, mentorship, and regular networking opportunities to accelerate your growth.
Through a structured three-year program, you will balance real team deliverables with study towards your ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) qualification, dedicating 20% of your time (around six hours per week) to your professional studies. Each placement will be supported by a dedicated Rotation Manager alongside guidance from senior Finance leadership.
You will gain broad exposure across six core finance pillars: Financial Control and Revenue & Billing in year one; Tax and Treasury in year two; and Strategic Finance and Finance Transformation in year three. Depending on business and ACCA requirements, you may also gain exposure to adjacent areas such as Product Control, Procurement, or Internal Audit.
How You’ll Make An Impact
- Support accurate, timely finance operations across your rotations, contributing to processes such as month-end close, reconciliations, journals and variance analysis.

- Prepare and review information carefully, including supporting audit, compliance and management reporting requirements.
- Work with colleagues across Finance to respond to queries, share information and deliver tasks to agreed deadlines.
- Look for practical ways to improve processes, documentation and the use of finance systems and data.
- Apply what you learn through ACCA study to real finance work, building technical, analytical and communication skills over time.

This role is offered as a government-funded Level 7 ACCA apprenticeship. Appointment is conditional on the successful candidate meeting the government’s apprenticeship funding and eligibility requirements at the start of training, as confirmed by our approved training provider. Under current England funding rules, Level 7 funding is generally available to applicants aged 16–21, with limited exceptions for eligible applicants aged 22–24 who have an EHCP or have been, or are, in care.
This role is offered as an early-careers opportunity and we are not able to offer this role on a privately funded basis. Further information about the Apprenticeship funding can be found here.

- Analytical Mindset: You have a natural comfort with numbers and a high attention to detail.
- Resilience: The ability to work toward tight deadlines in a fast-paced, high-growth work environment.
- Tech Savvy: Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets. Any prior exposure to accounting systems (like Workday) is a huge plus, but not a dealbreaker—we will train you!

How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.
