CloudLinux
is a global remote-first company. We are driven by our principles: do the right thing, employees first, we are remote first, and we deliver high-volume, low-cost Linux infrastructure and security products that help companies to increase the efficiency of their operations. Every person on our team supports each other and does what we can to ensure we all are successful.

Imunify360
is CloudLinux's security suite for Linux web servers: real-time and background malware scanning, automated cleanup, a WAF, runtime PHP protection (Proactive Defense), a database malware scanner, and IP reputation. It runs on hosting providers' shared, VPS, and dedicated servers, so new web-malware campaigns land on our fleet early.
We sit on one of the largest labeled corpora of live web-server malware in the industry: files, verdicts, cleanup outcomes, and analyst decisions collected from production hosting servers every day. It already drives our signatures, heuristics, and ML models, and there is far more to get out of it. We are looking for a
Senior ML Engineer
who will turn that data into detection that ships — classifiers, LLM-assisted triage and generated signatures — and keep exploring new ML/LLM methods against it, measured by the product's false-negative and false-positive rates, not by notebook accuracy.
Our dataset focuses on web malware — PHP, JavaScript, HTML phishing kits, infected WordPress and Joomla plugins and themes, database injections — with the context around each file.
What you'll work with:
Malware samples from production servers, with verdicts and analyst decisions
Years of signatures and detection rules
Customer-reported false negatives and false positives
Runtime behavior of code on live sites
Web-attack traffic
File metadata and how files spread across servers
Cleanup outcomes, including what came back
What you will do:
The goal is 10x more malware detected at the same or lower false-positive rate. Hand-written rules and faster pipelines will not get there; models trained on our data might.
Decide which files on a server deserve a closer look, within tight CPU and memory budgets
Tell malicious code from benign at fleet scale and a sensible cost per file
Generate detection signatures automatically from new campaigns
Catch malware that only looks malicious in context, such as phishing pages and script injections
Route each file to the right detection engine
Make cleanup precise so sites stay clean afterwards
Prove each model improves detection before it ships
How we work:
You get an experimentation track, GPUs, and a direct line to leadership; in return, you bring numbers, not opinions.
Remote-first, async
across UTC−5 to UTC+8. Decisions are written down (ADR-Lite) and public by default.
Hardware follows evidence:
Each training direction starts with dedicated GPUs on our own bare metal; leadership has committed to fund more when the case is made with data.
Agentic engineering:
Claude and Codex are the default tools, wired to GitLab, Jenkins, Redash, Jira, and Slite through MCP servers. We look at how engineers work with agents — context, specificity, review quality — not only at output.
Close to ground truth:
You work daily with malware analysts, detection and infrastructure engineers, and the rest of our ML team.
Ship gates:
No model or build goes out if it raises false positives or false negatives on our past-error sets. Blameless post-mortems within 24 hours.
What you'll deliver:
You own the path from raw samples to a model in production, and the numbers that prove it helped.
First month:
A first model trained on production data and measured against today's engines — suspicious-file triage or a metadata model. The evaluation harness in place: splits by time and campaign so families don't leak, and a regression set from past FPs and FNs.
By month 3:
Several models in production: some in shadow mode building evidence, some live and producing real detections, all gated on the past-error regression set. A training setup that keeps its GPUs busy. A written proposal (ADR) for the detection cascade, with cost per file and hardware needs.
By month 12:
Models are a main source of new detections, reported as share of new detections and FN-rate trend. Retraining on fresh analyst and FN labels on a fixed cadence. Generated signatures inside the analyst workflow. Two or three parallel training directions that other engineers can run with your tooling.
Requirements
What you bring:
5+ years building ML systems
that ran in production, including
2+ in an adversarial domain:
security, abuse, fraud, or spam.
Y
ou have trained and fine-tuned transformer models yourself
— data preparation, tokenizing code, LoRA/QLoRA or full fine-tunes, distillation, quantization — not only called hosted APIs.
Classic ML depth:
gradient boosting, linear models on sparse features, calibration, class imbalance, and judgement on when these beat an LLM.
Evaluation discipline:
leakage-free splits by time and family, precision at a fixed false-positive budget, regression sets, and an honest account of why production will differ from offline.
Inference cost engineering:
you have measured throughput and latency and made a model fit a CPU or memory budget (ONNX, llama.cpp, vLLM, int8/int4).
Strong Python, PyTorch and the Hugging Face stack; SQL
on large analytical tables (ClickHouse or similar).
Familiarity with PHP or JavaScript
, or willingness to pick it up working with our malware analysts.
You use AI coding agents
daily and can show how.
English at upper-Intermediate (B2) level or higher
, with particularly strong written communication for async work.
It is a strong plus if you have:
Web malware, webshells, phishing kits or WordPress security experience.
Models over code: AST or token features, code LLMs, graph models on program structure.
Malware clustering and similarity analysis.
Multi-GPU training on your own bare metal; MLflow or Weights & Biases; dataset versioning.
Go or Rust, for on-server inference.
Published work or talks on ML for security.
Benefits
What's in it for you?
A focus on professional development.
Interesting and challenging projects.
Fully remote work with flexible working hours, that allows you to schedule your day and work from any location worldwide.
Paid 24 days of vacation per year, 10 days of national holidays, and unlimited sick leaves.
Compensation for private medical insurance.
Co-working and gym/sports reimbursement.
Budget for education.
The opportunity to receive a reward for the most innovative idea that the company can patent.
By applying for this position, you consent to the processing of your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy (

), which provides detailed information on how we maintain and handle your data.

Location: San Francisco
Perplexity is AI for people who expect more. This role brings that same standard to how our data team works, with AI at the center of everything we do.
We're looking for someone who's been a great data scientist, analytics engineer, or data engineer: the kind of person who knows which metric actually matters, can design an A/B test that answers the real question, has gone deep on a data model because something didn't add up, and has decided that the highest-leverage thing they can do next is build AI systems that fundamentally change how data science gets done.
You'll build AI agents and internal systems that can increasingly handle end-to-end analysis workflows: forming hypotheses, writing and running queries, interpreting results, and drafting recommendations with the right evaluation, review, and guardrails. You'll build the retrieval infrastructure and evaluation loops that let AI systems query the warehouse reliably. You'll create workflows that detect, diagnose, and help fix data issues before they become company-wide problems. You'll build the infrastructure that multiplies what a small data team can ship.
You'll join a data team that's already using AI across its work. The next step is turning those individual workflows into scalable systems, shared tools, and an AI-native operating model that becomes a benchmark for how modern data teams work.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Build AI agents that do data science - not just SQL copilots, but systems that can safely explore data, form hypotheses, run queries, interpret results, and generate actionable recommendations with clear evaluation and human review loops.
- Make AI systems query the warehouse reliably - build the retrieval infrastructure and evaluation loops that let agents use our semantic context and metadata accurately.
- Accelerate the AI-native data workflow - turn the best existing AI-assisted workflows into repeatable systems, reusable tools, and patterns the whole data team can adopt.
- Automate the data lifecycle - build self-healing pipelines, automated dbt model generation and validation, data quality agents, and diagnosis workflows that reduce manual firefighting.
- Ship AI-powered experiment analysis - build agents that interpret A/B test results, flag statistical issues, identify likely drivers, and draft ship/no-ship recommendations.
- Turn the data team into a product team - build internal data products that stakeholders use every day, replacing ad hoc requests with self-serve AI interfaces.
- Own the full lifecycle - identify high-leverage problems, prototype with LLMs, evaluate accuracy, design the UX, ship to production, and monitor quality over time.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 6+ years in data science, analytics engineering, data engineering, or a related role. You've been close enough to real data work to know what should and should not be automated.
- Deep SQL and analytics judgment - you can reason through metrics, experiments, data models, and messy warehouse reality without relying on a tool to think for you.
- Strong product sense - you understand what stakeholders actually need, what makes a workflow adoptable, and how to turn a prototype into a product people use.
- Hands-on LLM experience - you've built with frontier models, agents, RAG systems, evals, or AI-powered workflows and have opinions about where they work and where they fail.
- Pipeline and modeling fluency - you've worked with dbt, warehouse schemas, data quality issues, and the practical tradeoffs behind durable data systems.
- Builder mentality - you see a manual process and immediately think about how to systematize it. You ship fast, measure quality, and iterate.
- Autonomy - this is a new function. You'll help define the roadmap as much as execute it.
BONUS
- Experience building production AI agents or agent evaluation systems.
- Experience with Snowflake, semantic layers, or metadata systems.
- Experience building internal tools, Slack bots, CLIs, or developer productivity products that people actually used.
- Strong experimentation background, including metric design and statistical interpretation.
- Experience with BI tools and the judgment to know what should be automated versus kept human-reviewed.
- Early-stage startup experience.
WHY THIS ROLE
- Set the standard for the industry - Perplexity's data team is already using AI across its work. You'll turn that into something other data teams look to as the benchmark.
- Build AI with AI - Perplexity builds AI for people who expect more. You'll bring that same level of ambition to how the company works with data.
- Frontier models, day one - you're at an AI company with access to frontier infrastructure and people who deeply understand what's possible.
- Massive leverage - the systems you build will multiply the output of every data team member and every stakeholder who needs data.
- Direct impact - small team, no layers of approval. Idea to shipped system in days, not quarters.

From Fivetran’s founding until now, our mission has remained the same: to make access to data as simple and reliable as electricity. With Fivetran, customer data arrives in their warehouses, canonical and ready to query, with no engineering or maintenance required. We’re proud that more organizations continue to leverage our technology every day to become truly data-driven.
About the role
The Principal of Marketing Insights sits at the intersection of growth strategy, investment planning, and performance analytics. You’ll partner with the office of CMO, marketing leadership, and cross-functional analytics teams to determine where we invest, how we improve performance, and what it will take to achieve our growth targets. You’ll translate business goals and performance insights into clear priorities, resource decisions, and coordinated action across Marketing. This includes shaping pipeline strategy, evaluating investment tradeoffs, and identifying opportunities to improve conversion, velocity, and efficiency across regions, segments, and growth motions. This is a high-visibility leadership role during a period of significant organizational change. We’re looking for someone who brings structure to ambiguity, challenges assumptions with sound business judgment, and drives decisions through to measurable results. You’ll work closely with marketing leaders, Finance, GTM Operations, Technical Marketing Ops, and Central Analytics to connect strategy, investment, and execution.
What you’ll do
Growth strategy & planning: Translate company growth targets into marketing plans with clear priorities, investment requirements, and performance assumptions. Lead the analytical foundation for annual and quarterly planning, developing scenarios that evaluate growth opportunities, resource needs, and tradeoffs. Own marketing’s pipeline planning models and assumptions, coordinating inputs across regions, segments, channels, and motions. Identify the highest-impact opportunities to improve pipeline generation, conversion, and velocity; partner with functional leaders to turn those opportunities into action.
Investment strategy & efficiency: Shape recommendations for allocating resources across programs, channels, regions, and segments based on expected business impact. Evaluate tradeoffs between headcount and program investment, partnering with Finance and marketing leaders to improve resource productivity. Identify where to scale, reduce, or reallocate spend, and measure whether those decisions improve pipeline yield and marketing efficiency. Develop models that connect marketing investment to pipeline and revenue outcomes, making assumptions and uncertainties clear.
Program management & accountability: Lead weekly and monthly marketing performance reviews, focusing leadership on the decisions and actions needed to achieve targets. Proactively identify performance risks, diagnose root causes, and align leaders on corrective actions, owners, and timelines. Track actions and assess their impact, adjusting the approach when results fall short. Lead cross-functional initiatives across Marketing, XDR, Sales, Finance, and Analytics, resolving dependencies and escalating decisions when needed.
Insights & measurement: Set the strategic analysis agenda around the business questions most consequential to marketing growth and efficiency. Define the metrics, scorecards, and decision tools marketing leaders need to manage performance. Partner with Analytics to deliver scalable reporting and with Marketing Ops to ensure consistent definitions, reliable tracking, and data quality. Translate complex analysis into clear executive narratives that explain what is happening, why it matters, and what action to take.

ABOUT XERO
At Xero, we’re here to supercharge small businesses. By making small businesses more efficient every day, connecting them with big business technology, and empowering a community behind them, their potential is limitless.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Xero is looking for a GM/VP of Growth Content to lead the next chapter of our global growth content function.
We have redefined how growth content is delivered at Xero from the ground up. Our growth content team uses an AI-powered approach to deliver high performing and always on-brand content at scale. We are looking for an individual who will lead a global team (including design, creative optimization and content automation) tasked with turning data-driven insights into a high-velocity, compounding content engine with automation at its core. This leader will develop and own our global content strategy across the funnel, they will champion a strict "test-and-learn" creative framework across all global growth channels, deeply analyzing audience signals and performance metrics to architect native content experiences that drive growth across paid advertising, lifecycle marketing, web, and sales assets.
The successful candidate will oversee the deployment of tailored, native content across all core channels—from high-impact visual hooks for paid ads to search-optimized web assets and high-converting lifecycle and sales collateral. This leader will need to constantly strike the right balance between delivering high performing content at scale and maintaining and elevating our brand consistency, in partnership with our internal agency ‘the foundry’.
This role requires someone who can operate at multiple altitudes. You need to be able to set direction at enterprise scale, work effectively in a complex global matrix, influence without always being the final decision-maker, and go deep into the executional details when the work demands it.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
UNITE, DESIGN & BUILD THE CONTENT OPERATING MODEL FOR AN AI-NATIVE FUTURE
- Deliver the end-to-end content system, from inputs and briefs through creation, review, distribution, reuse, and performance optimization to unite siloed work streams.
- Build an AI-native operating model that improves speed, quality and scalability, not just efficiency on the current workflow. This will include the automation of atomization of flagship content across channels/funnel/audiences to scale distribution and expand impact.
- Simplify decision-making and review flows so the right people are involved at the right moments, with less drag and more accountability to exponentially improve output speed while raising the bar on content quality.
- Create repeatable ways to turn strategic inputs such as claims, positioning, customer insight, proprietary data, product truth, and channel learnings into effective content outputs.
- Maintain total brand consistency across all content touchpoints, aligned with our core principles and ambitions.
- Be hands on tools to lead the evolution and expansion of our content system, training the team and cross-functional partners on how to use most effectively.
RAISE THE BAR ON BUSINESS IMPACT AND MEASUREMENT
- Build a measurement approach that connects content performance to real business outcomes, not just activity or engagement metrics.
- Partner with analytics, product, performance marketing, regional marketing, and customer teams to understand what content is actually driving impact.
- Use data to shape investment decisions, optimization, channel mix, and content priorities.
- Create visibility for senior leaders into what is working, what is not, and where we should change course & how to get there.
- Build a culture that seeks the truth on content effectiveness and continuously improves from it.
IMPROVE CONTENT QUALITY, JUDGMENT, AND CHANNEL FIT
- Raise the standard of what great content and processes looks like at Xero and create calibration mechanisms so teams apply that standard consistently.
- Improve how we match message, format, and depth to audience need and channel context.
- Partner closely with Product Marketing, Communications, Performance Marketing, SEO, regional teams, and Sales Enablement to create more effective content across the funnel.
LEAD THE ORGANIZATION AND BUILD CAPABILITY
- Lead, coach, and develop a global content organization spanning multiple disciplines, markets, and seniority levels.
- Raise the bar on capability, performance, and leadership across the team and ensure the structure supports the organizational needs and is built for the future.
- Build a team culture that values clarity, quality, learning, strong judgment, and accountability for outcomes.
- Know when to stay at the strategic level and when to get into the details to unblock, improve, or accelerate the work.
OPERATE EFFECTIVELY IN A COMPLEX GLOBAL MATRIX
- Build strong partnerships across global, regional, and functional teams to scale impact through influence.
- Work effectively in an environment where ownership is shared, decisions are distributed, and progress depends on alignment as much as authority.
- Balance global consistency with regional relevance, especially in markets with different levels of maturity, capability, and need.
- Help cross-functional teams make better content decisions by bringing clarity, structure, and strong point of view.
SUCCESS IN THE ROLE LOOKS LIKE
- The content operating model has been materially redesigned for an AI-native future, with simpler workflows, stronger systems, and better use of human judgment.
- Content is on brand and inline with our brand principles and guidelines.
- There is an effective and continuous “test and learn” system and culture.
- Content performance is measured in a rigorous way, with strong links to business outcomes, adoption, utilization, and expansion.
- The quality bar is visibly higher, and teams have clearer standards for what good looks like.
- The team is stronger, with sharper talent, clearer roles, and a structure better suited to where the business is going.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
CORE REQUIREMENTS
- SaaS & Fintech Expertise: Deep leadership experience in SaaS, fintech, or complex B2B/B2B2C subscription ecosystem environments.
- Operating Model Transformation: Proven track record of redesigning operating models, not just optimizing existing workflows.
- AI Operational Integration: Demonstrated success using AI to rethink content systems, workflows, governance, and production economics at scale.
- Cross-Functional Alignment: Strong partnership experience with Product Marketing, Communications, Performance Marketing, SEO, and Sales Enablement.
- Business Impact & Measurement: Strong evidence of driving measurable business impact through content across multiple stages of the funnel and customer lifecycle.
- Global Matrix Leadership: Experience working in a large global matrix, with the ability to influence across teams and functions without relying on formal authority alone.
- Strategic & Operational Agility: Ability to move between strategy and execution, including comfort getting into the operational details when needed.
- People Leadership: Experience leading and upgrading teams through change, including talent assessment, coaching, organizational design, and raising standards.
- Navigating Ambiguity: High comfort with ambiguity, complexity, and building structure where it does not yet exist.
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience serving small business and partner audiences such as accountants, bookkeepers, or channel ecosystems.
- Experience building growth content systems that use proprietary data, customer insight, and research as differentiated inputs.
- Strong judgment on channel strategy, editorial and design quality, audience needs, and content effectiveness.
Compensation & Total Rewards
At Xero, we value the impact and skills you bring to the team. We don’t just hire for a role; we invest in people. We believe in a Total Package philosophy - which means your value isn't just a single number on a paycheck. While base salary is a core component, we look at your compensation through a holistic lens that includes equity, performance incentives, and world-class benefits.
The expected base salary range for this role in:
- California and Washington: $229,300 to $315,300 USD
- Oregon: $208,800 to $287,800 USD
- Individual pay is determined by various factors, including geography, level of experience, and the specific skills you bring to the role.
In addition to base pay, Xero’s roles are eligible for the following forms of variable compensation:
- Variable Pay: Permanent employees are eligible to participate in our annual bonus and equity (RSU) programs. You may also be eligible for performance-based cash or equity (RSUs) incentives depending on your role level, and company performance.
- Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match, and 21 days PTO, 10 days of Wellbeing leave, 5 days of Xtra Leave, 1 volunteer day, 12 paid holidays, paid parental leave. Further information included on our Xero Perks https://careers.xero.com/inside-xero/benefits-wellbeing/ page.
Xero uses AI to help screen applications based on job-related qualifications. These tools assist our recruiters but do not make automated hiring decisions. A human recruiter reviews all candidates before any hiring action is taken.

ABOUT RAMP
Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, embedded in the transaction flow of every dollar a business spends. We automate how over $275B in annualized spend flows in and out of 85,000+ companies: authorizing payments, flagging risk, categorizing spend, and closing books.
The problems are high-stakes, data-dense, and unforgiving.
We hire people with high agency and high urgency. We look for slope over intercept. We care less about where you trained and more about what you’ve built. At Ramp, everyone is a builder who owns problems end to end and makes consequential decisions that shape the outcome.
The median Ramp customer saves 7.5% and grows revenue 16% in their first year – far in excess of businesses operating without Ramp. We believe every ambitious company deserves the same.
If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it.
ABOUT THE ROLE
You will be a front-line manager to a group of 6-8 CSMs, who each manage ~60 Activations at a given time in Ramp’s Mid Market portfolio. You will be responsible for developing and standardizing implementation best practices, 1:1 coaching and mentoring, building a repeatable and scalable customer activation motion that enables growth without proportional increases in team size, and working closely with leaders across Sales, Marketing, Operations, Risk, and Product to drive positive outcomes for this segment. As a key member of the Mid Market CSM leadership team, you will have the opportunity to help build and refine Ramp’s customer success and onboarding motion.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Set and maintain a high-performing culture and morale by managing a group of exceptional CSMs to drive thorough and efficient onboarding and product activation for Ramp’s medium/large customers
- Oversee the daily activities and quota performance management of individual CSMs to ensure team exceeds product onboarding and spend activation goals, while maintaining strong CSAT
- Refine best practice playbooks for the CSM team, and improve team output and efficiency over time by optimizing systems and processes
- Develop and execute career development and leadership plans for direct reports; inclusive of but not limited to daily 1:1 mentoring, coaching on sales skills, enhancing product knowledge, providing call feedback, and running enablement sessions
- Act as a voice of the customer and key contributor retaining and expanding Ramp’s Mid Market segment
- Build and leverage internal AI tools and Salesforce dashboards to monitor the success of our customers and the performance of the team
- Report on team performance and forecast to senior leadership
- Represent the CSM team cross-functionally with leaders of other departments
WHAT YOU NEED
- 5+ years of implementation, CSM or AM experience as an individual contributor, with a proven, consistent track record exceeding goals
- 3+ years of experience building and leading implementation or CSM teams with a proven track record of exceeding goals
- Prior demonstrated success in fast-paced, results-oriented GTM environments, ideally at SaaS companies
- Ability to identify trends, translate company strategy into team-level priorities, and drive initiatives that improve team metrics and organizational outcomes
- Proven ability to coach teams on selling the full platform, not just individual products; experience driving multi-product adoption, cross-sell, and upsell across a book of business
- Track record of pushing pace on input metrics, building repeatable playbooks, and optimizing systems and processes to improve team output
- Strong collaboration and influencing skills across Sales, Product, Operations, and other GTM teams; demonstrated ability to represent Customer Success at a leadership level
- Comfort with and curiosity about AI tools and their application to CS workflows; ability to lead a team through AI-driven process transformation and evaluate how AI can augment CSM productivity and customer outcomes
- Strong understanding of customer financial workflows, including AP/AR, spend controls, and month-end close processes; ability to coach CSMs on ROI-grounded conversations with controllers and finance leaders
- Proficiency in data analytics tools (Salesforce, Looker, and Excel) with the ability to leverage data to drive decisions, create systems, and identify process improvements.
NICE TO HAVES
- CPA or equivalent accounting certification, or deep working knowledge of accounting software (e.g. NetSuite, QuickBooks, Xero, Sage)
- Experience with financial services sales or selling into finance and accounting personas
- Experience at a high-growth startup in an enterprise or mid-market customer success environment
- Familiarity with contribution profit models or usage-based revenue metrics
- Experience leading teams through AI adoption or workflow automation initiatives
BENEFITS AVAILABLE TO ALL FULL-TIME RAMP EMPLOYEES (GLOBAL)

BUILD SOMETHING PEOPLE LOVE
Wealthsimple is Canada’s leading financial innovator. The company offers a full suite of simple, sophisticated financial products across managed investing, do-it-yourself trading, cryptocurrency, tax filing, spending and saving. Wealthsimple currently serves more than 4 million Canadians and holds over $155 billion in assets under administration. The company was founded in 2014 by a team of financial experts and technology entrepreneurs, and is headquartered in Toronto, Canada.
We're proud of what we've built — and we're just getting started. Read our Culture Manual https://www.wealthsimple.com/en-ca/culture and learn more about how we work https://www.wealthsimple.com/en-ca/careers.
About the team
Over 30,000 Canadian businesses already trust Wealthsimple Business to spend, invest, and help their employees save, all in one place. But most Canadian SMBs still don't know we offer business banking at all. Our team owns the growth engine that closes that gap: getting Wealthsimple Business in front of the millions of small businesses in Canada who haven't heard of it yet, and building the pipeline that lets us compete directly for a market that isn't ours yet. We work closely with the broader Marketing org but stay focused on this segment specifically. This isn't general brand awareness — it's demand for a product category most SMBs haven't considered us for.
ABOUT THE ROLE
You'll own net-new customer acquisition for the SMB segment: running the paid and experimental channels that create demand where none currently exists. This is a build-from-scratch role in a real sense. The acquisition engine for this segment doesn't exist yet, so you'll be defining it, testing what moves the needle, and scaling what works, rather than optimizing something already in motion.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Own SMB-specific acquisition: explore and test across channel types, paid media, partnerships, content, community, and anything else that could move the needle. No one's handing you a channel mix. Figuring that out is the job
- Run the team's growth experimentation cadence: CAC/LTV analysis and funnel experiments that turn into repeatable, scalable campaigns, not one-off tests, measured through to pipeline handed to Sales
- Test positioning and messaging that gets this segment to notice us for the first time
- Own growth-motivated webinars and other programs aimed at reaching new audiences, not nurturing ones we already have
- Partner with the Demand Gen Specialist so acquisition experiments feed nurture, and nurture insights inform where acquisition effort goes next
- Embed AI into your day-to-day, creative and copy iteration, audience research, campaign experimentation, to move faster and test more
WHAT YOU BRING
- 4–6+ years in growth or performance marketing, with a track record of generating demand and measuring it through to downstream pipeline value
- Experience building and running growth experiments: channel tests, funnel optimization, CAC/LTV analysis. You don't just execute a media plan someone else designed
- Comfort operating in a segment or product with limited brand awareness. You understand how messaging, channel mix, and creative have to work differently when you're introducing a category to someone who doesn't know it exists yet, not comparing features for someone who already does
- Experience running net-new-audience programs (webinars, partnerships, co-marketing) aimed at reaching new audiences, not nurturing existing ones
- An analytical mindset: you use data to diagnose funnel problems, prioritize opportunities, and recommend what to do next, not just report on results
- Clear written communication: able to translate test results and positioning ideas into something a cross-functional team can act on
- A demonstrated habit of using AI to accelerate your work: building lead enrichment workflows, generating and testing creative at scale, or surfacing insights from data faster. You treat AI as a core part of how you work
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience running go-to-market for a product or benefit launch across paid, lifecycle, and product surfaces.
- Experience in consumer fintech, investing, brokerage, trading, or crypto platforms.
- Experience marketing specifically to small and medium-sized businesses, understanding how SMB buyers discover, evaluate, and choose financial products
WHO YOU ARE
- You're motivated by ambiguity and building from scratch, not maintaining an existing channel
- You think like an owner. You don't wait to be told which experiment to run next
- You're comfortable being judged on outcomes you can't fully control yet, because the category itself is new
- You partner well. You know acquisition and nurture only work if the handoff between them is good
- You're competitive in a healthy way. "Let's go win this" is a mindset, not just a talking point
- You're as comfortable in the numbers as you are in the creative. This role needs both

We're proud of what we've built — and we're just getting started. Read our Culture Manual https://www.wealthsimple.com/en-ca/culture and learn more about how we work https://www.wealthsimple.com/en-ca/careers.
About the team:
At Wealthsimple, we aren't just managing portfolios; we're rewriting the rules of how Canadians interact with credit. The Credit Analytics team own’s Wealthsimple's lending ecosystem, operating at the intersection of high-growth tech and data-driven underwriting.
We believe that being “credit-worthy” should mean more than just a traditional score. Our mission is to challenge the status quo, building inclusive products that empower millions of Canadians and the businesses they run to lead better financial lives. We’re growing fast, moving from small data to massive scale through iteration and experimentation.
We are extending our consumer credit expertise into business lending built for Canadian small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs). This is a true green-field build — new adjudication policy, new underwriting signals, and new risk infrastructure, informed by everything we've learned scaling our consumer card portfolio.
About the role:
We are looking for a Senior Associate to own credit policy for our business lending products, starting with a business credit card — from adjudication through the full account lifecycle. You will design and implement the underwriting framework that determines who qualifies and at what limit, build the line management strategies that govern how those limits evolve, and partner closely with collections to manage risk once accounts are on book.
Small business cards can be underwritten on the owner, or on the business as it grows. You’ll be working with cash flow, seasonality, industry, and business bureau data, which is usually thinner and messier than consumer bureau data. We need someone who has worked across that range and can turn it into automated policy instead of file-by-file decisions.
You will collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, Data Science, Fraud, and Client Experience to translate policy into shippable adjudication and monitoring systems, and you will have significant ownership over how this portfolio’s risk appetite is defined from day one.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Build a new lending program from the ground up with the breadth to see every part of it, from policy to funding, and the runway to grow into leading a lending line of business.
- Design and own the adjudication policy for a new business credit card, including entity-level underwriting criteria, principal/guarantor assessment, joint-liability, initial limit-setting, and approval decisioning.
- Own line management strategy for business credit products: credit limit increases and decreases, pricing, authorization rules, and active exposure management driven by cash-flow and balance monitoring.
- Partner with the collections team to design risk-managed treatment strategies specific to business accounts, and to build lifecycle monitoring that catches emerging risk early.
- Evaluate the performance of the business lending portfolio and your policies, using vintage analysis, cohort tracking, and champion/challenger testing to validate and refine underwriting decisions.
- Propose policy enhancements that improve marginal profitability while keeping risk within appetite, informed by rigorous root-cause analysis rather than surface-level metrics.
- Help define the data and underwriting infrastructure needed for SMB lending — including how to source, validate, and weigh business financial data alongside traditional bureau signals.
- Influence roadmaps across partner teams (Engineering, Product, Data Science, Fraud, and Client Experience) and implement policy that drives measurable impact.
We're looking for someone who:
- Has direct experience underwriting or setting credit policy for small and medium-sized businesses, this is a must-have for this role. Card experience isn't required; we'd love to hear from you if your background is in instalment loans or lines of credit.
- Writes SQL hands-on to self-serve data and build monitoring and analytics.
- Brings credit discipline to a ship-and-iterate environment, and is comfortable shaping policy while the product itself is still being defined.
- Can turn analysis into a clear recommendation for technical and non-technical audiences, weigh incomplete or noisy information and still reach well-grounded decisions.
- Is intellectually curious, passionate about their work, and wants ownership over their projects.
Preferred qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in small business lending
- Knowledge of Canadian consumer credit bureau data (Equifax, TransUnion)
- Working knowledge of how business credit risk differs from consumer credit risk: entity vs. personal guarantor assessment, business bureau data (e.g., business credit bureaus), cash-flow-based underwriting, industry/sector risk, and revenue seasonality.
- Experience across the credit lifecycle: adjudication policy, line management, pricing, and collections strategy.
- Experience with statistical/quantitative analysis: experimental design, champion/challenger (or A/B) testing, model accuracy validation, constrained optimization, decision trees, discounted cash flows, financial modeling.
- Experience with Python, and GitHub. Airflow, AWS Redshift, and dbt are a plus.
