ABOUT SENTRY
Software runs the world and the pace is faster than ever. Sentry helps developers fix errors and performance issues before users notice, so teams can spend less time firefighting and more time building.
Trusted by 200,000+ organizations, Sentry is today’s application monitoring standard and our team is building its AI-native future.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Issue Workflow is Sentry's primary product surface. Our issue platform processes billions events daily and turns them into actionable insights that help millions of developers fix bugs faster.
As a Staff Software Engineer on the Issues team, you'll architect the systems that power this experience. You'll work at the intersection of high-scale distributed systems and product engineering, building real-time data pipelines, search backends, and analysis systems that surface signal from noise. This is product engineering at massive scale—where every architectural decision impacts millions of debugging sessions.
You'll be the technical leader who shapes how Sentry groups issues, how we make search lightning-fast, how we enable sophisticated agentic workflows, and how we ensure that the product is performant even at billions-of-events scale. Your work will define what's possible for the most trafficked part of Sentry's platform.
IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL
- Drive technical strategy and roadmap. Partner with engineering leadership, product, and design to shape the multi-quarter technical vision for Issue Workflow platform. Make strategic calls about architectural direction, technology choices, and technical debt. Ensure the team is building a strong foundation to scale with Sentry's growth.
- Solve complex performance and scalability challenges.
- Champion product quality and user experience. Build features that don't just work—they delight. You understand that milliseconds matter in the developer experience. You sweat the details of interfaces, error messages, loading states, and edge cases. You instrument everything so the team can measure and improve.
- Mentor and elevate others. You've helped engineers grow their skills. You celebrate wins and learn from failures alongside your teammates.
YOU’LL LOVE THIS JOB IF YOU
- Are a distributed systems engineer who understands the realities of high-scale architectures. You know about eventual consistency, partitioning strategies, caching layers, and query optimization. You've debugged enough systems at scale that you now know to design for failure and build systems that degrade gracefully.
- Are product-minded and understand that great engineering serves users. You collaborate effectively with Product and Design, offering technical perspectives that shape better products. You can explain technical constraints in user-centric terms. You get excited about making developers' lives better, not just solving technical puzzles.
- Have strong full-stack instincts. While this role is backend-heavy, you understand the entire system from data ingestion to what renders in the browser. You know enough about frontend performance, API design, and user experience to make good architectural decisions that consider the whole picture.
- Include and uplift others. You've helped engineers grow their skills in systems design, coding practices, and product thinking. You're generous with knowledge and patient in explaining complex concepts. You celebrate wins and learn from failures alongside your teammates.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 10+ years in full-stack software engineering, ideally Python and Typescript
- Expertise in domain modeling, distributed systems, data stores, message queues
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, and Kafka is preferred
EQUAL OPPORTUNITY AT SENTRY
Sentry is committed to providing equal employment opportunities to its employees and candidates for employment regardless of race, color, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, gender identity, veteran status, or other legally-protected characteristic. This commitment includes the provision of reasonable accommodations to employees and candidates for employment with physical or mental disabilities who require such accommodations in order to (a) perform the essential functions of their jobs, or (b) seek employment with Sentry. We strive to build a diverse team, with an inclusive culture where every teammate can thrive. The team here brings sharp judgement, real craft, and the drive to do exceptional work. We're obsessed about the details and energized by the frontier.
If you want to do the best work of your career, this is the right place.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Our Engineering team tackles the toughest challenges, so our users never have to. Real-time infrastructure, AI-native architecture, and a frontend that feels effortless - all powered by a team that moves fast, thinks rigorously, and holds an exceptionally high bar for quality.
We’re looking for Staff Product Engineers that can solve our hardest technical problems, both individually and through technical leadership. You’ll design and build software that creates delightful, groundbreaking user experiences. You’ll play a key role in growing the talent in our engineering organization through mentoring, coaching and hiring, and you’ll resolve our most tricky product issues through an understanding of what’s important to our users and business.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Provide technical leadership for a critical part of Attio’s engineering organization. You’ll work across teams to design significant parts of our infrastructure, aligning with Attio’s overall technical strategy. You’ll hold a high bar for the output of the teams you work with, ensuring that Attio executes both quickly and with quality.

You’ll be keen to teach, and to learn from the experience of others. You’ll relish the challenge of working in an area that’s new to you, and enjoy the discomfort that leads to personal growth.

Assistant Vice President, Cyber Cloud Security Engineer
to join the Security Engineering team, within the Information Security organization. This role will establish and manage cloud security programs, build new security architecture, drive automation, and continuously identify and address security gaps across iCapital's technology landscape. The ideal candidate is a deeply technical individual contributor who can research, design, and implement security technologies, and collaborate effectively across teams and functions.
Responsibilities
Build and manage Cloud Security Programs across AWS, Azure, and GCP infrastructure
Design, implement, and validate secure cloud infrastructure architectures, ensuring new capabilities meet established security standards and requirements.
Apply Zero Trust architecture principles and best practices across cloud infrastructure design and access models.
Drive continuous detection, remediation, and resolution of cloud vulnerabilities and security misconfigurations, leveraging CSPM tooling (e.g., AWS Security Hub, Wiz, or equivalent) and automation to continuously improve and maintain cloud security posture.
Build automation capabilities for continuous monitoring and alerting across cloud infrastructure.
Partner with engineering teams to drive the adoption of security standards and best practices, embedding security early across the development lifecycle and supporting a shift-left security culture.
Collaborate with the SOC to develop and strengthen cloud detection engineering capabilities.
Assist the Risk and Governance teams with the development and implementation of cloud-related policies, procedures, and standards.
Engage with Platform, DevOps, and Software Engineering teams to deliver security initiatives and provide security guidance to projects across the organization.
Qualifications
6–9 years of experience in cloud environments, with AWS as the primary platform, including proven hands-on expertise in cloud security architecture and infrastructure design.
Relevant cloud or security certifications are a plus (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Security – Specialty, CISSP, or CCSP).
Proficiency with AWS-native security services, including IAM, Config, KMS, Secrets Manager, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and GuardDuty.
Experience with cloud identity and access architecture, including federation (e.g., Okta), RBAC, ABAC, and service-to-service authentication models.
Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tooling such as AWS CDK, CloudFormation, or Terraform.
We believe the best ideas and innovation happen when we are together. Employees in this role will work in the office four days, with the flexibility to work remotely one day (Friday).

Who We Are
At OKX, we believe that the future will be reshaped by crypto, and ultimately contribute to every individual's freedom.
OKX is a leading crypto exchange, and the developer of OKX Wallet, giving millions access to crypto trading and decentralized crypto applications (dApps). OKX is also a trusted brand by hundreds of large institutions seeking access to crypto markets. We are safe and reliable, backed by our Proof of Reserves.
Across our multiple offices globally, we are united by our core principles:
We Before Me
,
Do the Right Thing
, and
Get Things Done
. These shared values drive our culture, shape our processes, and foster a friendly, rewarding, and diverse environment for every OK-er.
About the Opportunity
We are seeking a VP of AI Strategy & Transformation — a hands-on technical leader who combines deep AI expertise with the strategic vision and executive influence to drive AI adoption across every business unit. This is not a research role or a traditional engineering management position. We need someone who has personally built and shipped production AI systems, understands the frontier of foundation models and agentic AI, and can translate that expertise into company-wide transformation.
The ideal candidate is, first and foremost, a deeply technical AI practitioner — someone who has architected and deployed AI systems at scale, and who can channel that credibility into driving AI adoption across every function of the organization. Not a theorist, not a people-manager-only — a builder-leader who ships and who makes others ship.
What You’ll Be Doing
1. Company AI Strategy & Transformation
Own the company’s AI roadmap end-to-end — from foundation model selection to business-unit-specific deployment plans:
Define and continuously refine the enterprise AI strategy, aligning it to revenue goals, product differentiation, and operational efficiency targets.
Conduct rigorous build-vs-buy-vs-partner analysis for foundation models, AI tooling, inference infrastructure, and data platforms.
Establish an AI governance framework covering model risk, data privacy, bias mitigation, and regulatory compliance across jurisdictions.
Serve as the primary AI advisor to the CEO and executive leadership team; translate frontier AI developments into actionable business implications.
Build and maintain a rolling 6/12/24-month AI transformation roadmap with clear milestones, investment thresholds, and go/no-go decision points.
Identify and evaluate strategic AI acquisition, investment, and partnership opportunities.
2. System Building & Technical Execution
Architect and deliver production-grade AI systems that create measurable business impact — not just prototypes:
Lead the architecture of LLM-powered applications including RAG systems, agentic workflows, fine-tuning pipelines, and prompt engineering frameworks at enterprise scale.
Design and implement AI-native infrastructure: model serving, automated evaluation, A/B testing frameworks, version control for prompts and models, and continuous monitoring for quality and drift.
Build and optimize AI agent systems, multi-model orchestration, tool-use chains, and autonomous workflow engines that solve real business problems end-to-end.
Build robust evaluation and benchmarking systems for AI outputs — measuring hallucination rates, task completion accuracy, latency, safety, and end-user satisfaction.
Personally prototype and review critical AI system designs; maintain hands-on technical credibility with the engineering team.
3. Organizational AI Enablement & Adoption
Drive AI adoption across every business unit — making AI a core competency for the entire organization, not just the engineering team:
Design and execute a company-wide AI literacy program segmented by role: executive leadership, product managers, engineers, operations, customer-facing teams, and support functions.
Create internal AI tooling, templates, and playbooks that make it radically easy for every business unit to leverage AI capabilities (prompt libraries, no-code/low-code AI interfaces, internal copilots, AI-assisted workflows).
Establish an AI Center of Excellence that serves as the hub for best practices, reusable components, and cross-functional AI project incubation.
Implement a structured AI use-case intake and prioritization process: partner with each business unit to identify high-ROI AI opportunities, scope them properly, and execute with embedded AI support.
Build an AI talent strategy: define hiring profiles for AI engineers and applied AI roles, design technical interview processes, and develop retention programs for top AI talent.
Foster a culture of responsible AI experimentation: psychological safety to try and fail fast, coupled with rigorous post-mortems and knowledge sharing across BUs.
What We Look For In You
10+ years in AI / deep learning, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role (Director+ or equivalent at a top-tier tech company, high-growth startup, or leading AI lab).
Demonstrated track record of shipping production AI systems that directly impacted business outcomes at scale (revenue, engagement, efficiency).
Deep expertise across the modern AI stack: large language models, transformer architectures, RAG, fine-tuning, RLHF/DPO, prompt engineering, and agentic AI frameworks.
Strong publication record, open-source contributions, or recognized thought leadership in the AI community (conference talks, technical blog posts, courses, or widely-adopted tools).
Exceptional communication skills: ability to present complex technical concepts to board-level audiences and translate business needs into technical specifications.
Advanced degree (MS or PhD) in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
Nice to Haves
Experience in fintech, crypto/blockchain, or regulated industries with complex compliance requirements.
Hands-on experience building AI-native products in consumer-facing, high-throughput environments (millions of daily active users).
Track record of driving company-wide AI adoption initiatives — not just team-level, but organization-wide cultural and process transformation.
Experience building or contributing to open-source AI tools, frameworks, or educational content adopted by the broader community.
Familiarity with AI regulatory landscapes across multiple jurisdictions (US, EU AI Act, APAC frameworks).
Published author or recognized educator in AI (books, widely-read technical blogs, MOOCs, or workshops).
Perks &
Benefits
Competitive total compensation package
L&D programs and Education subsidy for employees' growth and development
Various team building programs and company events
Wellness and meal allowances
Comprehensive healthcare schemes for employees and dependants
More that we love to tell you along the process!
