About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role
Anthropic is looking for a Communications Lead to own external communications for the Claude Platform, our API. The Claude Platform is how many of our customers put Claude to work, and this role shapes how that work is understood beyond Anthropic: from flagship product launches to the steady cadence of capability releases and developer-facing news.
You'll sit on the Product Communications team and work day to day with the Platform product and engineering teams, Product Marketing, and Developer Relations.
You should understand how developers and enterprises actually build with APIs and be comfortable engaging with developer tools and hold a clear point of view on what makes a product land.
Key responsibilities
Own communications for the Claude Platform end to end: capability releases, product updates, and the steady cadence of developer-facing news
Build and maintain strong relationships with the journalists, newsletter writers, and creators covering AI platforms, enterprise software, and the API economy
Prepare Platform leaders to be effective spokespeople for press, podcasts, panels, and the smaller moments in between
Partner with Product and Engineering to align external narratives with how these products are sold and supported, and surface customer feedback back to the teams who can act on it
Work across press, social, owned, and community channels, with the judgment to know which one carries a given moment and when to coordinate more than one at once
Minimum qualifications
Experience in communications, PR, or product marketing, including meaningful time on platform, API, developer, or enterprise products
An understanding of both developer culture and enterprise buying, and the judgment to read timing and tone when the conversation around AI gets noisy
Strong instincts for which product moments deserve the spotlight and which don't, and genuine curiosity about what makes a launch land
A demonstrated ability to operate with high agency and low ego, with a bias to action
Preferred qualifications
8-10 years of experience in communications, PR, or product marketing
Communications experience at a developer platform, API-first, or enterprise software company
Existing relationships with reporters and analysts covering AI platforms, enterprise tech, or the developer ecosystem
Experience managing communications for AI or ML products
Are very online: you follow the right channels, know what's moving through Hacker News and developer social chatter, and catch things early
The annual compensation range for this role is listed below.
For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role.
Annual Salary:
$265,000
—
$295,000 USD
Logistics
Minimum education:
Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
Required field of study:
A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience
Minimum years of experience:
Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position
Location-based hybrid policy:
Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices.
Visa sponsorship:
We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this.
We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification.
Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed. Research shows that people who identify as being from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy, so we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to submit an application if you're interested in this work. We think AI systems like the ones we're building have enormous social and ethical implications. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team.
Your safety matters to us.
To protect yourself from potential scams, remember that Anthropic recruiters only contact you from @anthropic.com email addresses. How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

We are primarily an in-person company based in San Francisco, with growing offices across North America, Europe, and Asia.
We are guided by a set of values that are at the core of our actions and define our culture: Trust, Customer Obsession, Craftsmanship, Intensity, and a commitment to balancing Family along the way. Our co-founders are Bret Taylor https://www.linkedin.com/in/brettaylor/ and Clay Bavor https://www.linkedin.com/in/claybavor/. Bret currently serves as Board Chair of OpenAI. Before founding Sierra, Clay spent 18 years at Google, where he most recently led Google Labs. Earlier, he started and led Google’s AR/VR effort, Project Starline, and Google Lens. Before that, Clay led the product and design teams for Google Workspace.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
- 5+ years of Executive Assistant or similar experience.
- Ability to build relationships and partner effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.

We build trust with each other by showing up for each other professionally and personally, creating an environment that enables all of us to do our best work.
- Customer Obsession: We deeply understand our customers’ business goals and relentlessly focus on driving outcomes, not just technical milestones. Everyone at the company knows and spends time with our customers. When our customer is having an issue, we drop everything and fix it.
- Craftsmanship: We get the details right, from the words on the page to the system architecture. We have good taste. When we notice something isn’t right, we take the time to fix it. We are proud of the products we produce. We continuously self-reflect to continuously self-improve.

We're hiring a Legal Response Specialist on Perplexity's Support team to handle legal and other sensitive tickets. You'll help Legal answer routine requests for information and support Governance, Risk & Compliance, or GRC, on privacy and security requests.
You'll review cases, write responses, and follow up until the work is done. Support Engineering owns the routing and safeguards that keep these tickets from being missed, answered by AI, or automatically closed.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitor designated Support and Legal channels, assess urgency, and route requests for human review. Promptly escalate government, court, law enforcement, and legal-threat requests according to approved procedures.
- Respond to routine requests using Legal-approved templates and guidance. Escalate matters requiring legal interpretation or disclosure of user information.
- Answer routine requests for information under Legal's guidance. Gather account history and draft responses for matters that need review.
- Help GRC process data subject requests and meet deadlines. Follow approved identity-verification and data-handling procedures.
- Coordinate security questionnaires and data protection agreements, with Legal and GRC responsible for substantive review and approval.
- Track each case through completion, including after handoffs. Record decisions, follow up on deadlines, and confirm the work is done before closing.
- Work with Support Engineering to test routing, AI bypass rules, auto-close protections, and alerts. Investigate missed cases and verify fixes.
- Keep approved replies and handoff instructions current with Legal and GRC. Arrange backup coverage so cases keep moving when you're out.
- Handle other sensitive support escalations. Report backlog, response times, overdue cases, and recurring problems to Support, Legal, and GRC.

ABOUT MISTRAL
Mistral provides full-stack AI solutions: from frontier models to developer tools, applications, and compute. We partner with enterprises tackling the hardest problems across high-stakes industries like finance, manufacturing, defense, healthcare, and the public sector, co-creating customized AI systems that they can run on their terms.
We are a dynamic, collaborative team passionate about AI and its potential to transform society. Our diverse workforce thrives in competitive environments and is committed to driving innovation. Our teams are distributed between Europe, North America, Asia and the Middle East. We are creative, low-ego and team-spirited.
The Role
As an IP Rights Manager on the IP & Licensing team, you will own the operational backbone of how Mistral manages rights, obligations, and restrictions across the datasets we license. This role sits at the intersection of copyright, data protection, and AI, and exists because the volume and complexity of our data agreements have outgrown manual processes. You will work closely with the colleagues who negotiate our agreements commercially and legally, translating their work into systems, workflows, and databases that keep us compliant and scalable.
The IP & Licensing team is responsible for all content and data licensing at Mistral. Your work will directly determine whether we can use the data we acquire, how we track what we are allowed to do with it, and whether our clients and partners stay within the rights we grant them. You will build the infrastructure that makes legal analysis repeatable, not just advisory.
Your scope spans the full lifecycle of data-related agreements: clearing inbound data usage requests, codifying contract terms into structured metadata, tracking ongoing compliance obligations, and automating reporting. You will also design and run AI-powered workflows that handle contract review assistance, obligation extraction, and renewal alerts, turning legal judgment into scalable operations.
What You Will Do
- Clear inbound data usage requests by researching rights status, scope, obligations, and restrictions before data enters Mistral systems.
- Review data-related agreements and codify their key terms into structured metadata, maintaining the team's template library and playbook alongside Legal.
- Determine whether specific AI use cases are covered by third-party agreements, identify gaps, and recommend contract amendments.
- Build and maintain a central database as the single source of truth for every signed data-related agreement, covering permitted uses, confidentiality, and re-use permissions.
- Track ongoing compliance obligations and automate reporting, including renewal alerts and master licensing partnership administration.
- Develop and run AI workflows for contract review assistance, obligation extraction, and compliance monitoring.
- Verify provenance, ownership, and consents for acquired data, flagging obligations that must be tracked.
- Monitor that Mistral clients and partners operate within granted rights, administering the approval system that enforces legal restrictions.
What We're Looking For
- A bachelor's degree in law, publishing, information science, business, or a related field.
- 2 to 5 years of experience in copyright, permissions, licensing, legal operations, or contract administration, ideally in an AI, tech, or data-driven environment.
- Solid working knowledge of EU and US copyright law and contract administration, with demonstrated ability to interpret contracts independently.
- Strong attention to detail and discretion when handling confidential agreements.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain legal constraints to non-lawyers.
- A legal-ops mindset: you take initiative, anticipate needs through ambiguity, and think about how to operationalize legal analysis at scale.
- Comfort building agentic AI workflows in a complex enterprise environment; you are an AI power user, not just a consumer.
- Fluency in French, German, Spanish, or another European language is a plus, as is experience with CLM tools like Ironclad, prior work setting up AI workflows in a legal team, or contracting experience with publishing houses.
WHAT WE OFFER
We offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your well-being, growth, and work-life balance. Benefits vary by country and may include healthcare coverage, parental leave, retirement plans, relocation support, wellness programs, meal and transportation allowances, and other location-specific perks.

Come join us and help shape a safer, simpler digital future.
We’re looking for a Senior Data Analyst to be a key analytical partner to our Customer Success organization and our product-led, digital customer journey. You’ll shape how the business understands what drives adoption, retention, and expansion, analyzing how customers move from sign-up to activation, engagement, conversion, expansion, and renewal, and turning that into clear, actionable insight on the growth levers leadership can act on. Sitting within our centralized analytics function, you’ll work closely with Customer Success, Product, Growth, RevOps, and Data Engineering, bringing strategic thinking, deep PLG expertise, and the ability to turn complex data into clear recommendations that move the business forward. You’ll help define how digital and scaled success programs are measured, size opportunities, show where to invest next, and help shape the data foundations that underpin our AI and automation capabilities.
How we’re using AI today
On the Analytics team, we're thoughtfully embedding AI into how we work with data. That looks like using AI to accelerate SQL development, pressure-test interpretations, turn complex datasets into clear executive narratives, and increasingly, building Generative BI applications that let stakeholders explore and interrogate data on their own. We approach AI the same way we approach data quality: with clear standards, human accountability at every consequential decision, and a commitment to getting it right before it influences the business. Beyond our own workflows, our role is evolving to ensure 1Password has the data foundations, governance, and structure its broader AI transformation depends on.
This is a remote opportunity within Canada and the US.
What we're looking for:
- 5+ years in analytics within complex B2B SaaS environments, ideally in a product-led or self-serve motion. B2C or hybrid B2B/B2C experience is a plus
- Strong PLG and customer lifecycle expertise, including activation, PQLs, cohort analysis, retention, churn, expansion, and growth modeling
- Experience partnering with Customer Success, Product, and Growth stakeholders and translating open-ended business questions into analytical frameworks
- Ability to synthesize complex analysis into clear recommendations and communicate them to senior leaders, influencing decisions and priorities
- Experience with experimentation (A/B testing), statistical modeling, or predictive techniques (e.g., churn or propensity modeling) in a business context
- Advanced SQL and strong experience with large-scale analytical datasets, including product usage and event data
- Hands-on experience with modern AI/BI tools (Hex, Omni, Claude, Dust, or similar)
- Comfort in modern cloud data ecosystems: Snowflake, Databricks, dbt
- Experience working with GTM and customer platforms such as Salesforce and a CS platform (Gainsight, or similar). Familiarity with product analytics tools (Amplitude, Segment, or similar) is a plus
What you can expect:
- The opportunity to do meaningful analytics work across adoption, retention, expansion, and digital success in a fast-moving, product-led SaaS environment
- Close partnership with Customer Success stakeholders and a direct line to leadership on the growth levers that matter most, contributing to how the organization measures performance and makes day-to-day decisions
- Involvement in building the data foundations and analytical standards that Customer Success and 1Password’s broader AI capabilities will depend on
- Exposure to how AI gets applied in customer analytics, including Generative BI and AI-assisted workflows across forecasting, anomaly detection, and insight generation
- Cross-functional collaboration across Customer Success, Product, Growth, Marketing, Finance, RevOps, and Data teams
- An environment where there’s a lot to build and your contributions will have real impact, ideal for someone who is eager to grow, take ownership, and make their mark

Our Strategic Deals team originates, structures, negotiates, and closes the deals that secure the compute Anthropic uses to train and serve frontier AI systems. We work closely with engineering, infrastructure, finance, legal, product, and go-to-market teams to expand Anthropic's access to cloud capacity, silicon, networking, and the financing behind them.
We are hiring several Strategic Deals Leads focused on compute and infrastructure. In this role, you will source opportunities, design partnerships, and negotiate high-value agreements with some of the world's largest technology companies, and you will connect deal terms to structured finance solutions. Your work will directly shape how quickly and reliably Anthropic can bring new compute online.
Each hire will bring deep expertise in one or more of these areas while working across the broader infrastructure stack:
Cloud compute:
building and running a pipeline of capacity across established and emerging cloud providers, and structuring the financing that connects capacity commitments to their economics.
Compute infrastructure:
going deep into the silicon supply chain, structuring co-development and early-access deals with semiconductor and emerging hardware companies, and securing networking, backbone, and memory supply.
Compute partnerships:
owning multi-year partnerships with the largest cloud providers, where compute commitments, financing structures, model availability on partner platforms, marketplace and co-sell arrangements, and pricing and revenue-share constructs are negotiated together.
Key responsibilities
Own deals end to end in your focus area, from opportunity identification and term sheet development through diligence, negotiation, internal approval, close, and post-close execution
Lead negotiations for complex, high-value agreements with hyperscalers and other cloud providers, semiconductor and hardware suppliers, networking and memory vendors, data center operators, and emerging infrastructure companies
Bring capital markets and financing thinking to every transaction, including vendor financing, equipment leasing, capacity prepayments, project finance, and credit and residual value guarantees
Build financial models, term analyses, and commercial frameworks that compare supply options and give leadership a clear view of value, tradeoffs, and risk-adjusted outcomes
Partner with engineering and infrastructure teams to understand future workload requirements and translate them into long-term supply strategies and commercially viable deal terms
Build and own senior relationships with commercial, finance, product, and legal counterparts across the AI infrastructure ecosystem
Drive internal alignment with legal, finance, engineering, product, and go-to-market teams on deal terms, risk parameters, and the approval path for large commitments
Track market, technology, competitive, and financing developments across AI infrastructure, including supply constraints, and turn them into clear recommendations for senior leadership
Represent Anthropic externally with corporate executives, investment banks, and infrastructure investors involved in our transactions
Minimum qualifications
A track record of originating, structuring, negotiating, and closing complex, high-value technology, infrastructure, or capacity transactions as the principal and lead negotiator (not in a supporting or advisory capacity) and the ability to operate independently from day one
Transactional experience in at least one focus area: cloud capacity or data center transactions, semiconductor and hardware supply (accelerators, CPU, memory, or networking, including backbone), or hyperscaler and cloud partnerships
Working knowledge of how large infrastructure commitments are financed, such as vendor financing, take-or-pay obligations, equipment leasing, or project finance, and the ability to shape financing terms alongside commercial terms
Financial modeling skills to build and pressure-test the economics of large infrastructure transactions
Experience developing term sheets and negotiating definitive agreements alongside legal counsel
Ability to work with technical teams and translate engineering requirements into deal structures, contract terms, and strategic business recommendations
Experience negotiating agreements that combine infrastructure or capacity terms with commercial, product, or go-to-market terms, and an understanding of how those components interact
Experience building partnerships and influencing senior stakeholders across internal and external organizations, including executive leadership
Preferred qualifications
8–10+ years of experience in strategic deals, corporate development, partnerships, investment banking, or business development at technology companies, hyperscalers, cloud providers, or financial institutions, with direct transactional ownership
Direct experience working with or inside a hyperscaler on AI or cloud partnerships, including familiarity with model gardens, marketplaces, co-sell programs, and partner economics
Experience managing multiple high-value transactions simultaneously at different stages of maturity and commercial development
Comfort operating in fast-moving, ambiguous environments where market structures, provider economics, and partnership norms are still evolving
A genuine interest in the future of AI infrastructure and in Anthropic's mission of building safe, beneficial AI

About the role:
As an Applied AI Security Architect, you will serve as Anthropic's trusted security expert for our most demanding enterprise customers. You'll engage directly with CISOs, security architects, compliance officers, and technical leaders at some of the largest healthcare and life sciences organizations to address their most critical questions about deploying Claude safely and securely.
This is a pre-sales technical role focused on security, compliance, networking, and data architecture. Your job is to walk into a room full of security professionals and demonstrate deep expertise in enterprise security, regulatory compliance, and data protection. You'll help customers understand Claude's security architecture, data handling practices, and deployment options, and partner with them to design solutions that meet their specific regulatory and organizational requirements.
You'll bring significant experience in enterprise security, cloud architecture, and technical pre-sales within regulated industries. Whether you've been a Security Architect, Solutions Architect, Field CTO, or senior pre-sales engineer at a cloud or security vendor, what matters is that you understand how large institutions evaluate and adopt technology, especially in healthcare and life sciences, and can speak credibly to their security and compliance concerns.
We are looking for someone excited to help define how enterprises should think about security and compliance in the age of AI. How do MCP, autonomous agents, and RBAC work together? If working at the intersection of AI adoption and regulated industries excites you, this is the role for you.
Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary security and compliance expert during customer engagements, addressing technical questions about Claude's architecture, data flows, encryption, access controls, and deployment models.
Partner with CISOs, security architects, and compliance teams at healthcare and life sciences organizations to understand their security requirements and design solutions that meet regulatory standards (HIPAA, GxP, HITECH, SOC 2, PCI-DSS, GDPR, federal mandates, etc)
Lead technical deep-dives on network architecture, data residency, API security, authentication/authorization, audit logging, and integration patterns for regulated environments.
Support enterprise security reviews, vendor assessments, and due diligence processes by providing detailed technical documentation and expert guidance.
Collaborate with GTM and Applied AI teams before and after customer engagements to align on strategy, prepare for security discussions, and ensure continuity from initial conversations through deployment.
Partner closely with Anthropic’s product and engineering teams to deeply understand Claude's security capabilities, provide real-time customer feedback on feature gaps and priorities, help assess technical feasibility of customer-specific security requirements, and influence roadmap priorities.
Develop and maintain security-focused collateral, reference architectures, and best practices documentation for regulated industries.
Lead enablement and create content for GTM and Applied AI Teams that helps them inform customers upstream about key security requirements and considerations.
Travel regularly to customer sites for security workshops, architecture reviews, and strategic account meetings.
You may be a good fit if you have:
8+ years of experience in enterprise security, cloud architecture, or technical pre-sales, with significant exposure to regulated industries (healthcare and life sciences).
Deep technical knowledge of enterprise security concepts: network security, identity and access management, encryption (at rest and in transit), API security, and audit/logging requirements.
Experience navigating compliance frameworks relevant to healthcare and life sciences organizations (HIPAA, GxP, HITECH, SOC 2, PCI-DSS, and GDPR).
A track record of engaging with CISOs, security teams, and compliance officers at large enterprises.
Strong understanding of cloud architecture and deployment models (AWS, Azure, GCP), including VPCs, private endpoints, and hybrid connectivity.
Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain complex security topics clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
The ability to navigate ambiguity and move fast in a rapidly evolving market.
A collaborative mindset: sales at Anthropic is a team sport.
Excitement about AI's potential to transform highly regulated industries, and a genuine desire to help customers adopt it safely and responsibly.

STAFF PRODUCT MANAGER, PRODUCT DISCOVERY ENGINE
ABOUT US
Constructor powers product search and discovery for some of the largest retailers in the world. We serve billions of requests every week, and you’ve probably seen our results somewhere and used our product without knowing it. We differentiate ourselves by focusing on metrics over features, and reinventing search and discovery from the ground up as a machine learning challenge with the specific goal of improving metrics like revenue. We’re approximately doubling year over year despite the market slowing down and have customers in every eCommerce vertical. We’re a passionate team of technologists who love solving problems and want to make our customers’ and coworkers’ lives better. We value empathy, openness, curiosity, continuous improvement, and are excited by metrics that matter. We believe that empowering everyone in a company to do what they think is best can lead to great things.
JOB SUMMARY
We’re looking for a systems-minded Staff Product Manager to take Constructor’s search and discovery to the state of the art — and keep it there — across every retail industry we serve. This is a highly technical, high-leverage role at the core of our Product Discovery Engine chapter: the teams responsible for how we retrieve, understand, and rank the right products for every shopper, on every query, for every customer.
Your job is to raise discovery quality and, through it, our customers’ business metrics. You won’t be measured on features shipped — you’ll be measured on relevance and business outcomes, like conversion, revenue per visit, and search-attributed GMV, moving up.
You’ll start embedded with our Search Quality team, owning its strategy and roadmap and getting deep into the systems that decide what shoppers actually see. Over time, your mandate grows to setting direction for the entire Product Discovery Engine chapter — deciding where we’re heading and why across recall, ranking, query understanding, personalization, and the ML infrastructure underneath. This is a Staff role today with a clear path to Director as you take on chapter-wide leadership.
Search at Constructor is fundamentally a machine learning problem, so this role lives and breathes ML. You’ll partner closely with ML, data science, and engineering to turn the latest research into production wins, keep us ahead of both commercial competitors and academic state of the art, and be the connective tissue that aligns multiple teams — ML Recall, ML Infra, and, over time, teams like CORE, SABR, and Catalog Management — behind a single, coherent vision for great discovery.
If you’re excited about driving innovation across dozens of the world’s largest retailers, being held to relevance and business outcomes, and pushing an already best-in-class product further ahead, this role is for you.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Own business impact, not features. Drive measurable lift in search-attributed conversion, revenue per visit, and GMV alongside relevance across our customer base.
- Deliver across every retail industry. Move quality and business metrics across all the verticals we serve, accounting for the differences in catalog, language, and shopper intent.
- Keep us at the state of the art. Continuously translate the latest ML / IR research and competitive moves into production wins, and ship SOTA ML / LLM-assisted capabilities that beat our previous best on relevance.
- Set chapter vision and strategy. Define the multi-quarter direction for the Product Discovery Engine — where we’re heading and why — tie it directly to customer business outcomes, and rally teams behind it.
- Lead Search Quality first. Own its strategy and roadmap, driving measurable improvements in the relevance and correctness of results.
- Orchestrate across the pipeline. Unify recall, ranking, query understanding, and personalization behind one definition of quality and one set of business metrics, so improvements compound instead of colliding.
- Turn ML research into production wins. Partner deeply with ML and data science to take models — from candidate generation and recall to LLM-assisted interpretation — from idea to production, balancing accuracy, latency, and cost.
- Make quality measurable and explainable. Build the metrics, evaluation frameworks, and tooling the whole chapter uses to measure, attribute, and explain discovery quality and its business impact.
- Own quality under pressure. Lead investigation and triage when issues arise, and design durable, systemic fixes rather than one-off patches.
- Grow the mandate. Expand into chapter-wide leadership spanning ML Recall, ML Infra, and — over time — teams like CORE, SABR, and Catalog Management.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
Within your first year, you will have:
- Driven measurable lift in search-attributed conversion and revenue per visit — moving business metrics, not just quality metrics.
- Driven measurable business-metric lift (conversion, revenue per visit, GMV) and relevance lift across every major retail vertical we serve.
- Shipped at least one state-of-the-art ML / LLM-assisted capability into production that beats our previous best on relevance.
- Won head-to-head quality benchmarks against every major competitor in the verticals we compete in, with a repeatable, defensible methodology.
- Taken core quality metrics to best-in-class levels and kept them improving quarter over quarter.
- Stood up an evaluation framework and tooling that ties model and system investments directly to customer business outcomes.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Extensive product management experience (typically 8+ years) in search, discovery, ML, or NLP-heavy products, including time operating at a senior or staff level.
- A track record of moving business metrics at scale — conversion, revenue, engagement — not just shipping features, and of setting strategy across multiple teams.
- Deep understanding of the end-to-end search pipeline: query interpretation → recall / candidate generation → ranking → reranking → personalization → delivery.
- Strong ML product depth — owning production models and reasoning about tradeoffs between high-capacity (LLM / batch) and low-latency (real-time) approaches — and a habit of staying current with state-of-the-art research.
- Fluency with retrieval and recall, query understanding (tokenization, synonyms, spelling correction, multilingual support), and search evaluation frameworks.
- A rigorous, measurement-first mindset that ties every quality investment back to business outcomes.
- Excellent cross-functional leadership — able to align teams with different goals behind a shared definition of quality and a shared set of business metrics, working shoulder-to-shoulder with engineering, data science, and ML Ops.
- Comfort operating with ambiguity, setting direction where none exists yet, and leading through clarity and credibility rather than the org chart.
BENEFITS
- Unlimited vacation time — we strongly encourage all of our employees to take at least 3 weeks per year.
- A competitive compensation package including stock options.
- Company-sponsored US health coverage (100% paid for employee).
- Fully remote team — choose where you live.
- Work-from-home stipend! We want you to have the resources you need to set up your home office.
- Apple laptops provided for new employees.
- Training and development budget for every employee, refreshed each year.
- Parental leave for qualified employees.
- Work with smart people who will help you grow and make a meaningful impact.
This position is fully remote — Constructor.io http://Constructor.io is a remote-first company.

We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification.

We think AI systems like the ones we're building have enormous social and ethical implications. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team.
