* Location: Espoo, Finland
* Department: Security
* Reports to: Head of Physical Security and Safety

WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS:
As a Protective Services Lead, you'll be the operational security lead keeping ICEYE's people safe wherever they work or travel. You'll protect our executives and travelling employees, lead our response when things go wrong, and build the security practices a fast-growing global company needs. This is a hands-on, senior role where your impact comes from scope and ownership rather than team size.
WHO WE ARE
ICEYE is the world leader in sovereign intelligence from space. We deliver persistent monitoring capabilities to detect and respond to changes in any location on Earth. ICEYE owns the world's largest and most advanced SAR (synthetic aperture radar) satellite constellation. To our customers we provide intelligence with unmatched quality, latency and revisit times, in any weather, day or night. To governments who choose to operate their own constellation we provide this proven capability as a sovereign system. ICEYE-built constellations serve customers in defence and intelligence, environmental monitoring, insurance and emergency management. We enable fast decisions that contribute to a safer future. Founded and headquartered in Finland, ICEYE operates globally with over 1000 employees across Europe, North America, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific.
YOUR DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:
— Run travel risk management for employees: pre-travel risk assessments, real-time monitoring, and on-the-ground assistance across all destinations.
— Lead ICEYE's response to security crises, coordinating internal teams and external partners to resolve situations quickly and limit the impact on people and operations.
— Plan and deliver executive protection for senior leaders, including threat assessments, route planning, and coordination of protective details.
— Act as the first point of contact for security incidents and alarm activations, triaging, escalating, and responding on site or remotely.
— Plan and oversee security for company events, from risk assessment and access control to coordination with venues and security providers.
— Manage external security vendors (protective services, travel risk, and event security), holding them to agreed service levels.
— Write and maintain security procedures, run crisis exercises and drills, and deliver security training for employees.
— Support business lines running specialised or fast-moving programmes with tailored security planning.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
Must haves:
— Around 8 years of security experience in an international setting, covering crisis management, executive protection, or travel security across multiple sites and regions.
— Hands-on experience managing external security vendors, including performance and service level management.
— A track record of leading security for executive travel programmes or high-profile company events.
— Experience planning and running crisis exercises, incident response drills, and security training.
— Strong written documentation skills: procedures, incident and after-action reports, and travel risk assessments.
— Calm, structured decision-making under pressure, including during simultaneous incidents across sites.
— Confidence working with authorities, law enforcement, and external providers, and explaining security requirements clearly to non-specialists.
Nice to haves:

ABOUT THE ROLE
We're hiring a Growth Engagement Specialist to play a critical role in Wealthsimple's proactive client communication initiatives. This role is both technical and creative, where you'll work on the planning and execution of end-to-end growth marketing campaigns across Wealthsimple's brand and product ecosystem, using AI-assisted tooling to do it faster and better than ever before.
The ideal candidate is one who can think "client-first," who can balance multiple projects simultaneously without sacrificing on quality, and who understands the interconnected technical and creative elements of consumer performance marketing programs — including where AI can meaningfully accelerate or improve that work. You'll be joining our multidisciplinary Growth organization where you'll work with stakeholders from Product, Engineering, Design, Data Science, and other growth and lifecycle marketers like yourself.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Own day-to-day execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns (esp. in-app content, email and mobile push), including segmenting target audiences, orchestrating multi-channel journeys, building templates, QA & deploying campaigns, and reporting on performance
- Use AI tools (e.g. Claude, Braze's AI features, or similar) to improve QA, content generation, campaign briefs, and reporting, and help build repeatable AI-powered workflows for the broader lifecycle & growth teams
- Ideate & experiment on growth engagement strategies/tactics, including personalization and content variation, to drive client acquisition, activation, retention and engagement
- Split your time roughly 50/50 between partnerships (integrating and marketing new partner offers, growing perk usage/redemptions, and supporting sponsorship activations) and referral growth (running monthly campaigns and experiments to increase acquisition through referrals)
- Analyze campaign and program performance; proactively report on campaign impact, client behaviours, and experimental results/learnings, using AI tools to accelerate analysis and synthesis where useful
WHAT YOU BRING
- 2-5 years hands-on experience using marketing automation platforms (Braze or Iterable preferred); demonstrated ability to rapidly adapt to new tools and processes
- 1+ year experience coding for email, or equivalent HTML/CSS skill required; SQL experience a plus
- Genuine enthusiasm for using AI tools (e.g. Claude or similar) in day-to-day marketing execution, comfort experimenting with prompts, workflows, and AI-assisted QA, not just traditional tooling
- Strong understanding of audience segmentation across channels, campaigns, and more required
- Understanding of marketing technology best practices, including responsive design, inboxing/deliverability, and audience segmentation
- Campaign performance analysis & reporting, A/B testing experience required; demonstrated experimental design ability a strong plus
- Familiarity with key elements of lifecycle marketing acquisition, activation, engagement, and retention strategies & tactics (esp. automated customer journeys, triggered comms, and multi-channel campaigns)
- Experience with mobile marketing (e.g. push notifications, in-app messaging) is a plus
- Proven success in working with cross-functional teams (e.g. Marketing, Product, Creative, Engineering, Data, etc.) to set and execute against data-informed growth targets/OKRs

✨ ONE PLATFORM, A WHOLE WORLD OF OPPORTUNITY
The best jobs have always clustered in a handful of the world's wealthiest cities. But talent is everywhere. Oyster set out to close that gap - building a global employment platform that lets companies hire, pay, and care for brilliant people anywhere.
We're proof that a high-performing culture doesn't need an office. Distributed across 60+ countries since 2020, we've built something the industry keeps noticing:
- Ranked #10 of 250 on TIME and Statista's 2026 list of America's Top WorkTech Companies https://www.oysterhr.com/library/oyster-hr-named-10-of-americas-top-worktech-companies-of-2026-by-time
- Named one of America's Greatest Startup Workplaces 2026 https://www.oysterhr.com/library/oyster-2026-newsweek-award by Newsweek
- A G2 Spring 2026 Leader https://www.oysterhr.com/library/oyster-named-best-roi-for-any-global-employment-platform-for-g2-spring-2026 across Employer of Record, Global Employment, Multi-country Payroll, and HR Compliance
- The only B Corp-certified global employment platform ~ independently verified since 2023
Two of those rankings measured our business impact from the outside. One measured how our own people feel about working here. They landed in the same place ~ because at Oyster, culture and performance aren't separate conversations. They're the same one.
And we're just getting started. If you want to do the best work of your career alongside people who care as much as you do, we'd love for you to apply.
The Role
Location: While this position is posted in a specific location, all of Oyster’s positions are fully remote and you can work from home. Forever. To create the best experience for our new hire, this role requires you to be based within +4 / -4 UTC.
We are looking for a hands-on Senior Accountant to own day-to-day accounting, monthly reporting, and ERP activities for Oyster entities around the world, with a focus on EMEA coverage. You will combine rigorous accounting judgment with proactive stakeholder management, lead close and audit activities, investigate complex discrepancies, and improve the systems and processes that keep a distributed finance function accurate and scalable.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting and intercompany transactions for global subsidiaries.
- Prepare and review financial statements and balance-sheet reconciliations across multiple entities.
- Lead month-end and year-end close activities, maintaining clear checklists and documentation.
- Coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual local statutory filings and provide complete support packages.
- Oversee local statutory audits and resolve auditor questions and adjustments.
- Reconcile local statutory records to the ERP
- Conduct financial analysis, identify trends or discrepancies, and present decision-useful insights.
- Own assigned ERP activities and improve accounting standards, controls, documentation, and automation.
- Proactively coordinate dependencies across Finance, Payroll, Tax, Legal, and external partners.
- Execute ad hoc financial projects and support junior teammates with practical guidance.
Core Requirements
- At least 5 years of accounting experience, including at least 1 year operating at senior-accountant scope.
- CPA (or part-qualified) or an equivalent professional accounting qualification.
- Strong knowledge of multi-entity accounting, intercompany transactions, financial reporting, reconciliations, close, and audit support.
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and manipulation of large datasets.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a logical, evidence-based approach to problem solving.
- Ability to prioritize competing deadlines and maintain quality across several entities.
- Strong written and spoken English, with effective stakeholder management in an asynchronous environment.
- Proactive follow-through, sound judgment, and a continuous-improvement and automation mindset.
Bonus / Nice-to-Have Experience
- NetSuite or a comparable ERP.
- Payroll accounting or SaaS experience.
- High-growth startup or rapidly changing international environment.
- Accounting across EMEA jurisdictions, including local statutory reporting and local-to-group reconciliation.
This might not be right for you if...
- You prefer a narrowly scoped, single-entity role with limited stakeholder contact.
- You are uncomfortable investigating ambiguous discrepancies or making evidence-based accounting recommendations.
- You need close supervision to manage deadlines, follow up with stakeholders, or keep work documented.
- You prefer manual routines and have little interest in improving controls, systems, or automation.
You'll also need
- A reliable home internet connection and fluency in both written and spoken English.

Support Hong Kong office moves, expansions, build-outs, and other local technology initiatives, coordinating with global IT teams, Facilities, vendors, and other stakeholders as needed.
Participate in disaster recovery and business continuity planning and testing for the Hong Kong office, including readiness for local disruptions such as typhoons, power outages, and ISP or connectivity failures.
Support local mobile and communications requirements, including carrier management and relevant compliance tooling where applicable.
Partner closely with global Desktop Support and Helpdesk teams to align on standards, documentation, processes, tooling, and escalation paths.
Maintain clear local documentation, runbooks, support procedures, and knowledge articles so common issues can be resolved consistently and efficiently.
Identify opportunities to improve support workflows and reduce repetitive work through scripting, automation, self-service, or better tooling.
Communicate clearly with local office leadership and key stakeholders during incidents, major changes, office initiatives, and recurring problem areas.
Participate in the global IT Support 24/7 emergency on-call rotation, including nights, weekends, and holidays, responding to critical incidents and urgent support needs by phone or remote access as required, as well as planned maintenance or project work.

5+ years of experience in technical support, including significant deskside support experience in a professional, financial services, trading, or similarly high-performance environment.
Demonstrated experience acting as a senior escalation point, local IT owner, team lead, or equivalent role with responsibility beyond individual ticket resolution.
Proven ability to deliver white-glove support to executives and responsive support to business-critical users in fast-paced environments.
Strong working knowledge of both macOS and Windows operating systems at an administrative level, with hands-on experience supporting iOS/mobile devices.
Hands-on experience with MDM platforms such as Microsoft Intune and Jamf, including device management, configuration profiles, policy enforcement, compliance, and provisioning.
