An overview of this role
Reports to: Manager, Renewals
This is an individual-contributor, tactical role focused on timely, accurate execution rather than strategic decision-making. The Associate Renewals Manager works under the general direction of Senior Renewals Managers and their manager, following specific instructions and frameworks in day-to-day work. Solutions and outputs are reviewed by more senior team members and/or the direct manager.
What You’ll Do
Manage an assigned portfolio of customer renewals tracking key dates and driving them to on-time closure.
Have real, consultative conversations with customers throughout the renewal cycle to understand how they're actually using the product and where they're headed next.
Identify and surface expansion opportunities — additional seats, tiers, or modules — that come out of those conversations.
Probe for new use cases and unmet needs within existing accounts, connecting what customers describe to relevant GitLab capabilities they aren't yet using.
Prepare and send renewal quotes, order forms, and related documentation accurately and on schedule, structuring them to reflect any expansion identified.
Prepare and send renewal quotes, order forms, and related documentation accurately and on schedule.
Analyze moderately complex renewal situations (usage trends, contract terms, pricing) by reviewing existing account factors, escalating anything unusual to a senior team member or manager and helping to mitigate any risk identified.
Explain moderately complex renewal terms and issues to customers and internal stakeholders, working to build alignment.
Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, and Finance to help identify expansion opportunities, resolve blockers and keep renewals moving.
Communicate proactively and transparently with customers and internal stakeholders, adapting to GitLab's communication framework.
Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in the CRM/renewals system for forecasting and reporting.
Prioritize tasks with guidance from more senior team members to drive quality, timely results.
Contribute to team goals by working collaboratively with peer RM’s.
What You’ll Bring
Can execute basic renewal processes independently ("basic knots") and has been introduced to more advanced scenarios ("complex knots") such as multi-year deals, upsell-attached renewals, or non-standard terms.
Developing understanding of GitLab's way of working, values, and high-performance culture.
Awareness of GitLab's remote work best practices.
Growth mindset and sense of ownership — proactively seeks out ways to learn and improve, and takes action rather than waiting for direction.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills; comfortable managing many renewals at once.
Clear written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to follow defined processes and frameworks while flagging exceptions appropriately.
Collaborative mindset and openness to feedback and coaching from senior teammates and manager.
The ability to travel for events such as trainings, team offsites, customer meetings, etc.
About the team
The Renewals team focuses on protecting and growing GitLab's recurring revenue by managing the full contract lifecycle for our subscription customers. As a Renewal Manager, you'll be part of a quota-carrying team that works closely with Sales, Customer Success, Finance, and Legal to ensure timely, accurate renewals and strong customer retention across regions in an all-remote, asynchronous environment. The team is responsible for forecasting renewal outcomes, identifying and addressing churn risk, and uncovering opportunities to expand GitLab adoption, while continuously improving processes and best practices that support predictable, sustainable growth.

How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

Our mission is to change this world by making blockchain accessible to everyone in everyday life. WhiteBIT is a global team of over 1,200 professionals united by one mission — to shape the new world order in the Web3 era. Each of our employees is fully engaged in this transformative journey.
We work on our blockchain platform, providing maximum transparency and security for more than 8 million users worldwide. Our breakthrough solutions, incredible speed of adaptation to market challenges, and technological superiority are the strengths that take us beyond ordinary companies. Our official partners include the National Football Team of Ukraine, FC Barcelona, Lifecell, FACEIT and VISA.
The future of Web3 starts with you: join us as a !
Requirements
We're looking for a Senio/Staff-level engineer with an open mind and a builder's instinct - someone who goes beyond executing tasks and is ready to own the High-Performance practice end-to-end: establish engineering processes, drive R&D, evaluate and champion new technologies, and lead their adoption in production.
The ideal candidate can bridge the gap between business requirements for low latency and high throughput and the realities of existing infrastructure - translating "we need to be faster" into an actionable technical roadmap. You bring a fresh perspective, know how to organize the work, and are equally comfortable optimizing a hardware parameter and presenting a strategy to stakeholders.
We expect 5+ years of hands-on experience as a DevOps/SRE/Systems Engineer in performance-critical environments - and the maturity to grow yourself and grow a team around you.
Linux:
Advanced administration and OS-level tuning — real-time OS configurations, cgroups, CPU isolation, memory management, and low-level network stack configuration.
Hardware Internals:
Deep understanding of CPU power and performance states (C/P-states), Hyper-Threading / SMT trade-offs, TX/RX ring configuration, and the full data path from NIC through PCIe to memory and CPU. Ability to reason about and tune each stage of that path under production load.
Networking & TCP Internals:
Deep knowledge of TCP/IP — congestion control, ACK behavior, buffer tuning, and protocol-level latency sources. Strong Linux networking fundamentals: low-latency NIC configuration, bypass networking technologies (DPDK, RDMA), and market connectivity (multicast feeds, co-location networks, VPNs).
Performance Engineering:
Practical experience profiling latency-sensitive systems; familiarity with tools such as perf, flamegraph, strace, tcpdump, eBPF, and hardware performance counters.
Containerization:
Deep knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes, including low-overhead deployment patterns and performance trade-offs of containerized workloads.
IaC:
Proven track record with Ansible, Terraform, and Helm in production environments.
Monitoring:
Hands-on experience with the Prometheus / Grafana stack; ability to build latency-aware dashboards and alerting (P99, jitter, throughput KPIs).
Scripting:
Solid scripting in Bash and Python; Golang is a strong plus given its role in systems tooling.
CI/CD & Secret Management:
Strong grasp of CI/CD pipelines with experience integrating performance validation stages; familiarity with Vault for secrets management.
Security:
Understanding of DevSecOps principles and Kubernetes security policies.
Key Performance Metrics You'll Work With
Latency Distribution
- P99 / P99.9 across the tick-to-trade path, using hardware-level timestamps (NIC/PTP).
Jitter
- variance between min/max latency, measured over large sample sets in live market conditions.
Throughput
- messages per second (orders + cancels) under exchange burst scenarios.
System Reliability
- сontinuous monitoring of uptime
Extra Credit / Big Pluses
Hands-on experience with kernel-level optimization: syscall reduction, network stack bypass (DPDK, RDMA, Solarflare OpenOnload).
Background in HFT, algorithmic trading, or other ultra-low-latency production environments.
Experience with hardware timestamping, PTP/IEEE 1588, and precision time synchronization.
Familiarity with colocation operations and exchange connectivity (cross-connects, proximity hosting).
Proven SRE track record with formal SLO/error budget frameworks in latency-sensitive contexts.
DevSecOps: vulnerability scanning, Zero Trust, RBAC, and secure delivery pipelines.
Understanding of business processes in FinTech, crypto, or electronic trading.
Responsibilities
Low-Latency Infrastructure Ownership:
Design, deploy, and continuously optimize infrastructure for latency-sensitive trading systems — market data handlers, order/deal gateways, and risk check engines. Own the full stack from bare metal to application delivery. Define and maintain a reference architecture for low-latency connectivity when onboarding new trading venues, including reproducible configuration baselines, validation procedures, and performance acceptance criteria — so every new venue goes live on a proven, optimized stack.
Cloud & Hybrid Network Connectivity:
Design, implement, and maintain complex low-latency network solutions for cloud provider interconnects - including cross-connects and Direct Connect / ExpressRoute links between cloud regions, hybrid on-premise/cloud topologies, and high-throughput inter-server fabrics. Ensure both latency minimization and fault tolerance at every layer: physical redundancy, failover routing, and path diversity across providers and regions.
Hardware & OS Stack Tuning:
Go deep on the full hardware and OS stack - CPU pinning, C/P-states, HT/SMT configuration, NUMA topology, IRQ affinity, TX/RX ring sizing, NIC offloading, and network stack bypass (DPDK/RDMA where applicable). Understand the complete data path from NIC through PCIe to memory and CPU - and optimize every hop.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
Automate provisioning and configuration of high-performance environments using Ansible, Terraform, and Helm - with performance reproducibility as a first-class requirement.
Latency Profiling & Benchmarking:
Systematically profile and debug latency hotspots across the full execution path. Establish and maintain SLA/SLO targets; track P99/P99.9 distributions, jitter, and throughput - not just averages.
CI/CD for Performance:
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines that include automated latency regression testing, so performance degradations are caught before they hit production.
Monitoring & Observability:
Design and operate comprehensive latency monitoring and alerting systems (Prometheus, VictoriaMetrics, Grafana) - including hardware timestamping (NIC/PTP) and fine-grained performance telemetry.
Colocation & Network Placement:
Research, evaluate, and manage optimal server placements - colocations, cross-connects, proximity hosting. Work closely with network and infrastructure teams to minimize physical and logical distance to exchanges.
High Availability & DRP:
Design systems that maintain stability and reliability under peak load while continuously pushing latency lower - zero regressions, always.
Cross-Team Collaboration:
Work alongside algo developers, quant teams, and network engineers to ensure trading strategies execute with minimal infrastructure overhead.

Requirements
We're looking for candidates with 5+ years of hands-on experience as a DevOps / SRE and deep expertise in the following technologies:
Linux:
Advanced administration and OS-level tuning — real-time kernels, process scheduling, memory management, cgroups, CPU isolation, and I/O optimization.
Cloud platforms:
Understanding of and experience in building complex systems focused on high availability (HA), low latency and high-performance computing (HPC)
Networking:
Deep understanding of TCP/IP, UDP, multicast, Ethernet, VLANs, and PTP at the wire level. Experience with low-latency network configurations and familiarity with kernel bypass technologies (DPDK, RDMA) is a strong plus.
Containerization:
Deep-dive knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes, including performance trade-offs of containerized workloads and low-overhead deployment patterns.
IaC:
Proven experience with Ansible, Terraform, and Helm in production environments.
Hardware Performance:
Working knowledge of how CPUs, NIC queues, memory, and storage behave under pressure. Hands-on experience with hardware tuning (BIOS configs, CPU isolation strategies, NIC queue management).
Monitoring:
Practical experience with the Prometheus / Grafana stack; ability to build latency-aware dashboards and fire meaningful alerts rather than noise.
Scripting:
Proven track record writing production scripts in Bash and Python. Golang is a significant plus.
CI/CD:
Strong grasp of core CI/CD tools and experience with secret management using Vault.
Security: Understanding of DevSecOps principles and hands-on experience configuring security policies in Kubernetes (Zero Trust, RBAC, secure code delivery).
Databases:
Solid working knowledge of SQL and/or NoSQL databases under operational conditions.
On-Call & Incident Response:
High sense of ownership for production systems — willing to participate in on-call rotations and available to respond to critical incidents outside business hours when the situation demands.
Extra Credit / Big Pluses
Linux: Deep-dive into kernel-level optimization — from syscalls and network card tuning to DPDK or FPGA-based networking.
Proven experience operating High Availability / Ultra-Low Latency solutions in live trading environments.
Experience with hybrid infrastructures (on-premise + cloud) — colocations, cross-connects, and proximity hosting.
Background in building and operating Big Data and Data Analytics platforms.
Understanding of business processes in the FinTech / Banking / Crypto / HFT sector.
Proven track record as an SRE with formal SLO / error budget frameworks.
DevSecOps: Vulnerability detection, enforcing security best practices, and experience with scanning tools (Trivy or Snyk).
Blockchain / crypto-native background is a bonus.
Responsibilities
Hybrid Infrastructure (Baremetal and Clouds):
Administer Linux servers (Ubuntu, CentOS, RHEL), drive incident resolution, and take end-to-end ownership of system reliability.
Low-Latency Systems Operations:
Proactively monitor, troubleshoot, and tune latency-sensitive trading systems and exchange connections across multiple asset classes. You treat P99 latency as a first-class metric.
OS & Hardware Tuning:
Go deep on the Linux stack — CPU pinning, NUMA topology, IRQ affinity, kernel parameter tuning, NIC offloading, and BIOS-level configurations. If it affects the tick-to-trade path, you own it.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
Automate deployment and configuration using Ansible, Terraform, and Helm with performance reproducibility as a hard requirement.
CI/CD:
Build and maintain rock-solid CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins, ArgoCD) including automated performance regression checks.
Monitoring & Observability:
Design and operate comprehensive monitoring and logging stacks (Prometheus, VictoriaMetrics, Grafana, ELK). Build latency-aware dashboards and alerting — P99/P99.9, jitter, throughput, and error rates.
High Availability & DRP:
Design and implement architectures adhering to HA, scalability, and Disaster Recovery principles — zero regressions while continuously reducing latency.
Cross-Team Collaboration:
Partner with quant, trading, and network engineering teams to squeeze every drop of performance from the full stack — from hardware up to application logic.

HEALTH CAN’T WAIT.
Not for symptoms to get worse. Not for a six‑month appointment. Not for a system to catch up. But that’s exactly how healthcare works today. You wait, until you can’t.
Alan exists to end the wait.
Health is a universal right, and we believe this right can only become real when it’s coupled with prevention. We need to stop treating health as something we repair and start treating it as something we build, every day. It’s not solely a question of willpower. It’s the healthcare system itself that needs to work for everyone, in a sustainable way.
So we are building the new standard in prevention insurance. Alan is the first company that integrates insurance, prevention, and care into a single, acclaimed user experience.
We are on an incredible journey to build a global leading company, with a unique culture https://alan.com/en/careers. We already partner with 40K+ companies of all sizes, serving more than 1M+ members, and have reached €800M+ in ARR.
Prevention as the new norm. That's what we're building with our team of 1000+ people. If it speaks to you: we're hiring across France, Spain, Belgium, and Canada. And beyond.
🤹 OPERATIONS AT ALAN
Behind Alan's performance lies an Operations team that is anything but back-office. At Alan, Ops is a strategic function: we define the vision, build the systems, and own the outcomes that make our insurance and healthcare products work at scale.
As a Ops & Product Builder, you will own some of the most critical and ambiguous challenges in the company. You will shape strategy, drive cross-functional alignment, and build solutions with lasting impact on Alan's P&L and member experience.
You’ll be joining 80+ talented, committed, passionate Ops team members working globally on all our services. You’ll be among the team mates structuring this community.
Our health services in Belgium is where you can make a difference
- In Belgium, our ambition is to build the most integrated care journey in the country. Prevention, care and insurance should work as one, so that every member has a health partner before they get sick, not just after.
- We particularly you start by bringing the full ecosystem of our health services to life for our Belgian customers
⭐️ THE CHALLENGE
We are looking for entrepreneurs in the mindset with a strong operational background to disrupt (and not only upgrade) the way we traditionally think about insurance or healthcare, and deeply re-engineer the experience we offer to our members .
We move fast and are proud to tackle big problems! One of our core value is ownership : we expect you to tackle Alan's problems from end to end with a long-term focus, acting on the behalf of the entire Company, never saying “it’s not my job” and being accountable for your actions.
Specifically here: Belgian healthcare is built to react. You get sick, then you get care. Prevention is the exception, and people are left to find their way between GPs, specialists, mutualities and insurers.
In France, we’ve shown it can work differently. Mo, our AI medical assistant, answers health questions 24/7. The Shop delivers health products at zero out-of-pocket. Alan Precision makes advanced prevention accessible through blood tests and health plans. Occupational health brings prevention into working life. It all lives in one app.
Now we’re building it in Belgium, and you’re the one who makes it happen.
Here are some examples of missions that you could lead:
- Launch Mo in Belgium Bring our AI medical assistant to Belgium in French and Dutch, with Belgian doctors shaping its answers and taking over when a human is needed.
- Advanced prevention for everyone: Generalise advanced blood tests paired with AI health plans into a service every member can easily access. That means building the network of clinical labs, pharmacies and care providers behind Alan Precision.
- Prevention programmes for unmet health needs: Spot the gaps in today’s care (weight loss, sleep, women’s health etc) and turn them, with health professionals and product teams, into programmes members love.
- A health partner for every workplace: Reinvent occupational health and Health At Work, a channel that reaches a huge share of Belgian workers but struggle to deliver the right impact on prevention. Design the model and take it from idea to launch.
This is a 0-to-1 role. You’ll have the autonomy of a founder and the backing of a €800M+ ARR company. What you build will change how hundreds of thousands of people in Belgium look after their health.
⭐️ IF YOU HAVE SOME OF THE FOLLOWING, YOU MAY BE A GREAT FIT ⭐️
- 6+ years in operations, product or entrepreneurship, ideally including launching new services
- Fluent in English and French or Dutch (both is a strong plus)
- You have a high level of structure and strong analytical skills (including Sql fluency for data analysis)
- You’ve taken a product or service from zero to scale and owned high-ambiguity, high-impact initiatives
- You set clear vision and roadmaps, lead product reviews and drive make-or-buy decisions
- You build and run key partnerships autonomously (providers, pharmacies, labs, health-tech)
- You’re strong on AI and automation
- You’re a strong mentor who makes the people around you better
- You know, or will quickly learn, how Belgian healthcare works: mutualities, practitioners, reimbursement, regulation
For this role we are looking to hire within the D–F level range, based in Brussels.
🎯 IMPORTANT NOTE: WE HIRE PEOPLE, NOT ROLES.
If you’re excited about this opportunity but don’t check every box, we’d love to hear from you. Everyone, no matter how underrepresented, should feel free to apply, as it can only bring learnings or success.
If you identify yourself as a woman: Did you know that research shows women often apply only when meeting 100% of requirements?
Remember, this is just a guide, not a checklist. We’ll be thrilled to receive your application!

And beyond.
ABOUT THE GROWTH TEAM
Growth Marketing at Alan covers a broad range of opportunities, including acquisition, segment and market growth, partnerships, content, experimentation, and international expansion.
We are looking for adaptable marketers who can take ownership of a defined growth problem, learn quickly, and evolve as our priorities change.
YOUR MISSION
As a Growth Marketer, you will independently own an ambiguous but defined Growth problem from diagnosis through execution. You will prioritise the highest-impact actions, coordinate the relevant stakeholders, and connect your work to measurable business outcomes.
Concretely, our team works on missions such as:
- Developing our channels: scaling paid acquisition, growing visibility in AI search and LLMs like ChatGPT, or growing our strategic partnerships
- Crafting the go-to-market strategy for our different segments (e.g. retirees, freelancers, companies,...)
- Producing performance creatives with AI workflows to create assets at scale
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Independently own an ambiguous but defined Growth problem from diagnosis through execution.
- Prioritise high-impact opportunities and make clear trade-offs.
- Design and run experiments, campaigns, or programmes end to end.
- Coordinate the relevant stakeholders and move initiatives forward with limited direction.
- Use business and performance data to make decisions and establish a clear learning loop.
- Adapt your approach based on results, customer insight, and feedback.
- Connect your work to measurable business outcomes.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Experience owning a meaningful Growth, acquisition, segment, market, or related Marketing scope.
- Strong problem-framing, prioritisation, and experimentation skills.
- Ability to make decisions based on evidence and business impact.
- Hands-on execution combined with an understanding of adjacent teams and activities.
- Ability to work with limited direction in an ambiguous environment.
- Clear communication and constructive stakeholder management.
- Curiosity, adaptability, and willingness to expand your scope over time.
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills in English
For this opportunity, we are aiming to hire within the B1-C1 level range https://app.notion.com/p/alaninsurance/Compensation-Alan-9a9fcf8b0cdf497a9c0ac89a11f048a3.
🎯 IMPORTANT NOTE: WE HIRE PEOPLE, NOT ROLES.

An overview of this role
As a Senior Solutions Architect you'll be a trusted advisor to GitLab prospects and customers, helping them understand how GitLab's AI-powered DevSecOps platform addresses both technical requirements and business objectives across the entire software development lifecycle. You'll guide organizations through their digital transformation journeys, from planning through monitoring, using your technical expertise, understanding of cloud and modern software development practices, and strong customer empathy.
Reporting to a regional Solutions Architect Manager and partnering closely with Account Executives and cross-functional teams, you'll own technical evaluations, including proofs of value and workshops, shape solution architectures, and serve as the voice of the customer back to Product Management. You'll focus on driving successful platform adoption, influencing revenue growth through solution selling, and building long-term, trust-based relationships that showcase GitLab's differentiated position in an AI-driven DevSecOps landscape.
What you’ll do
Lead technical discovery, demos, and validation to show how GitLab's AI-powered DevSecOps platform meets customers' technical and business needs across the full lifecycle.

Collaborate with Account Executives and regional sales teams across Italy to shape and execute account strategies that support new customer acquisition and expansion.
Build and deepen relationships with technical practitioners and business leaders, guiding them through GitLab-driven transformation and enabling them to become GitLab advocates.
Advise customers on modern software development, continuous integration, continuous deployment, security, and cloud practices, challenging existing approaches to improve return on investment.
Serve as the voice of the customer with Product Management, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing by sharing feedback, use cases, and competitive insights that inform roadmap and positioning.
Maintain and extend your technical expertise in GitLab, DevSecOps, AI, and related cloud technologies, creating reusable examples, best practice guidance, and technical collateral for customers and partners.
Invest in your own growth and development through ongoing learning, mentorship, and knowledge sharing to continuously improve the impact of the Solutions Architect team.
What you’ll bring
Experience engaging with customers in technical pre-sales, consulting, or similar roles, guiding them through solution design and evaluation.
Proficiency with the end-to-end software development lifecycle, including modern DevSecOps practices and continuous integration and continuous deployment workflows.
Hands-on experience with GitLab or comparable source control, continuous integration and continuous deployment, and collaboration platforms, and the ability to map platform capabilities to customer use cases.
Practical knowledge of cloud computing concepts and related technologies, with the ability to discuss deployment, security, and operations options with technical teams.
Ability to lead technical evaluations such as proofs of concept or proofs of value, contribute to tenders or audits, and design and run workshops or value stream assessments.
Clear technical communication and presentation skills, with the ability to adapt messages for practitioners through to senior business and technical decision makers.
Skill in building trusted relationships, listening with empathy, and acting as a customer advocate to internal teams such as Product, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing.
Motivation to continuously develop professionally, including learning new technologies, deepening GitLab platform expertise, and applying transferable experience from related fields.
