And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.

ABOUT THE ROLE
The AI Acceleration team’s mission is to make Perplexity the best place to build and ship software with AI agents. We build the infrastructure that engineers and agents rely on, and develop new ways for agents to write, test, review, and ship code. Our work helps teams move from an idea to production faster, without compromising quality or reliability.
We own the end-to-end development experience at Perplexity, from the environment where code is written to the systems that ship it to production. That includes local and cloud coding environments, build and test infrastructure, code review, and release management. We’re also building autonomous software development systems, where agents take on increasingly complex engineering work with explicit evaluation, verification, and safety controls. We own both the infrastructure these systems depend on and the workflows that make them useful.
As an AI Acceleration Engineer, you’ll turn emerging agent capabilities into dependable systems used across Perplexity. You’ll work directly with engineers to understand where development slows down, experiment with new approaches, and take promising ideas through to production. This role combines systems engineering, developer experience, and hands-on agent development, with a direct measure of success: helping teams spend less time on delivery overhead and more time building products.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify, prioritize, and deliver the highest-impact opportunities to accelerate how Perplexity builds and ships software with AI.
- Work directly with engineering and business teams to understand their workflows, constraints, and bottlenecks, and build solutions that address how they actually work.
- Build and operate the infrastructure that engineers and agents depend on, including development environments, build and test systems, code review, and release tooling.
- Make our codebases, systems, and internal knowledge easier for agents to navigate, understand, and use through better tooling, interfaces, documentation, and context.
- Take agent-driven workflows from prototype to production, building the evaluations, verification, and controls needed to delegate increasingly complex engineering work safely.
- Improve delivery speed and software quality together. Measure the impact of your work on development time, review effort, and production reliability, and use those results to guide what comes next.
- Evaluate emerging models, tools, and approaches through hands-on experimentation. Turn the evidence into clear technical decisions, and drive adoption of the technologies that prove useful.
- Use AI extensively in your own engineering work, share what works, and help colleagues adopt effective practices. Partner with engineering leadership and recruiting to strengthen how we hire and develop engineers who work effectively with AI.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of software engineering experience, ideally with substantial work in infrastructure, platform engineering, or developer productivity in technically complex environments.
- Daily, hands-on use of AI models and coding tools, with practical judgment about where they perform well, where they fail, and how to verify their output.
- Strong proficiency in one of the languages – Python, Go or Rust, along with the willingness to learn other languages as the work requires.
- Broad familiarity with the systems used by AI product and applied research teams, including cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, data pipelines, and ML tooling. You don’t need deep expertise in every layer, but you should understand how they fit together.
- An ability to understand how engineers and researchers across disciplines work, paired with curiosity about the needs of business and operations teams. You build tools around users’ actual workflows and constraints.
- A drive to make codebases, systems, and processes easier to understand, operate, and change. You look for ways to replace brittle workflows and implicit knowledge with clear interfaces and reliable automation.
- Sound technical judgment about when to experiment, when to commit, and when to ship a pragmatic solution. You can balance immediate delivery with investments that make future work faster and more reliable.

Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role
Anthropic is seeking a Regulatory Counsel to lead our legal work on AI regulation in the United States and to support our global AI regulatory posture.
In this role, you will be an in-house regulatory lawyer for Anthropic's US AI regulation and a key contributor to our global frontier AI compliance strategy. You will provide regulatory-readiness counseling as new laws are developed, day-to-day advice once they are in force, and legal support for Anthropic's non-contentious engagement with US regulators and standards bodies. While the role is US-focused, AI regulation is inherently global: you will help ensure a consistent worldwide compliance posture, coordinate closely with colleagues leading our EU and international workstreams, and contribute to EU AI Act and other international work where it overlaps with your areas. You will work at the intersection of novel legal questions, fast-moving product development, and a high-profile regulatory environment, cross-functionally with Legal, Compliance, Safeguards, Security, Policy, Research, and product teams.
Key responsibilities
Serve as one of Anthropic's lead in-house regulatory counsel for US AI regulation, covering applicability analysis, readiness, day-to-day advice, and compliance-program design
Own US regulatory compliance deliverables end to end, such as published safety and transparency frameworks, model documentation obligations, and incident-reporting requirements
Track legislative, regulatory, and standards developments across US federal and state jurisdictions (and internationally where relevant), assess applicability and impact on Anthropic's business and products, and design compliance approaches well in advance of obligations taking effect
Counsel legal, compliance, safety, security, and business teams on day-to-day regulatory questions once laws are in force, translating complex and often ambiguous requirements into practical guidance and scalable compliance programs
Support Anthropic's engagement with US AI regulators, enforcement agencies, and standards bodies — including notifications, information requests, reporting obligations, and voluntary framework and standards processes — in close partnership with Policy
Partner with Anthropic's Policy and Policy Legal teams on pre-legislative and rulemaking engagement, including comment letters and regulatory submissions, translating policy positions into legally-grounded regulatory positions
Partner with Anthropic's Litigation and Regulatory Investigations Legal teams on litigation and regulatory enforcement concerning AI regulation
Contribute to Anthropic's global frontier AI regulatory work where it intersects with US obligations
Minimum qualifications
JD from an accredited law school and active membership in at least one US state bar
Hands-on experience advising a technology business (in-house or at a leading law firm) on emerging regulatory regimes, including taking questions from first read of a statute through to a documented compliance position and a shipped artifact
Experience engaging with regulators, enforcement agencies, or standards bodies in a non-contentious supervisory capacity
Experience drafting regulatory compliance deliverables, such as compliance policies, regulatory submissions, or published compliance frameworks
Ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly to technical, policy, product, and business audiences
Preferred qualifications
8–12 years of regulatory legal experience, with substantive depth in technology regulation and hands-on exposure to AI-specific frameworks
Direct experience with frontier AI regulatory regimes — California SB 53, the Colorado AI Act, or comparable state laws; or the EU AI Act and GPAI Code of Practice
Experience at a frontier AI company, large technology platform, or other hyper-scaling technology business operating under novel regulatory regimes
Familiarity with adjacent laws that intersect with AI regulation — e.g., privacy and data protection, consumer protection, product safety, and export controls
Familiarity with model evaluation, capability testing, or AI safety concepts
A background that combines private practice and in-house experience
Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to develop novel compliance approaches in areas without established precedent
Strong organizational skills to run several workstreams in parallel and keep compliance artifacts current without prompting
Excellence at cross-functional collaboration
Passion for responsible AI development and getting the balance right between innovation and appropriate safeguards
Understanding of how to build constructive long-term relationships with regulators and standards bodies
Role-specific policy: For this role, we expect all staff to be able to work from our San Francisco or New York office at least 3 days a week, though we encourage you to apply even if you might need some flexibility for an interim period of time.

Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the Role
A large and growing share of Claude usage reaches customers through our cloud partners — Amazon Bedrock, Google Cloud's Agent Platform, and Microsoft Foundry. These surfaces require bespoke solutions so our approaches have to be designed for third-party distribution from the start. In this role you will own how Anthropic's model safeguards, fraud defenses, and compliance posture show up on every cloud.
Responsibilities:
Model Safety Across Clouds
Own the multi-cloud strategy and roadmap for our safeguards — data retention, automated review, human review, and enforcement — designed to fit each partner's operating model
Design product experiences and operations paths for managing eligibility criteria, verification paths, and the controls attached to differentiated capabilities for higher-trust organizations
Build threat-intelligence sharing with AWS, Google, and Microsoft so misuse is detected and acted on consistently across surfaces
Drive our transparency commitments to customers and partners on data access, review, and enforcement
Fraud & Abuse
Own fraud and abuse defenses for partner-sold offerings: bot and mass-registration abuse, pre- and post-sale risk controls, and chargebacks where the partner owns billing
Define the fraud signals we exchange with each cloud partner and turn them into product requirements that influence growth initiatives
Cross-functional Leadership
Engage directly with enterprise security, risk, and compliance leaders to understand their requirements and turn them into roadmap priorities
Be Anthropic's product counterpart to trust & safety, security, and compliance teams at AWS, Google, and Microsoft
Work with Safeguards, Inference, Policy, Security, Legal, and multi-cloud engineering to ship one coherent set of controls across three clouds
Partner with sales and partnerships to support enterprise evaluations where data-handling and safety requirements are decisive
Work with marketing and partner teams on how we position our safeguards externally
Minimum requirements:
Have 10+ years of experience.
Have 5+ years of product experience in platform product roles on high-scale, enterprise- or developer-facing software.
Operate with high autonomy in ambiguous, fast-moving environments, with a track record of executing across teams and organizations.
Are an excellent written communicator and able to drive clarity out of complexity.
Are equally fluent in policy nuance and systems detail, and can explain the tradeoff between them to lawyers, engineers, go to market teams, and partner executives alike.

Prior product experience in trust & safety, security, privacy, or compliance.
Have built or shipped products with a hyper-scaler as a partner — you know how to align strategic goals and deliver impact over multiple quarters in partnership with an external third party
Have owned a top line revenue target while being held to counter-risk outcome — a fraud-loss number, an abuse rate, a compliance authorization, an enforcement program — not just a product roadmap.

How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts.

Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re hiring a GTM Engineer to build the data, systems, and growth infrastructure behind Avoca’s next stage of growth.
Our ambition is to build a world-class GTM engine. We’re looking for someone excited to build AI-powered systems that give a small team enormous leverage and have an outsized impact on revenue.
You’ll build the engine behind our outbound motion: mapping and enriching our target market, finding the signals that indicate which accounts are most likely to buy, and turning those signals into relevant outreach and timely action for our Sales team. You’ll also build and scale our autonomous outbound email program from the ground up, using AI-powered workflows to run personalized campaigns to thousands of accounts, while maintaining strong sending infrastructure and deliverability.
Beyond outbound, you’ll build the data pipelines, integrations, automations, and internal tools that make our Growth and Sales teams more effective. This is a builder-operator role: you’ll put the systems you create into practice, learn from their performance, and keep improving them. We’re looking for someone with the technical ability to build complex systems and the commercial judgment to focus that work on qualified pipeline and revenue.
You’ll report directly to the Head of Growth and work closely with Sales and RevOps to turn better data, signals and workflows into pipeline.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Build, run, and scale our autonomous outbound email engine end-to-end: from campaign strategy and execution to sending infrastructure, deliverability, measurement, and optimization — turning it into a major source of qualified pipeline
- Build and ship AI agents and GTM workflows for prospect research, account prioritization, personalization, content development and other repeatable work; continuously identify new opportunities to automate and expect to launch new agents regularly
- Map and enrich Avoca’s total addressable market, building the reliable account and contact data that powers our campaigns and outbound SDR motion
- Identify, test, and activate buying signals that surface the right accounts at the right time and trigger relevant outreach or rep action
- Build the integrations, automations, and internal tools that connect our data sources, CRM, enrichment providers, outbound platforms, and Sales workflows
- Partner closely with SDRs, Sales, and RevOps to improve targeting, lead routing, rep productivity, and the conversion of signals into pipeline
- Evaluate our GTM technology stack and decide what to buy, build or automate
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- 3+ years of experience in GTM engineering, growth ops, outbound, or another technical GTM role in a B2B environment
- A track record of building and operating large-scale outbound email programs that generated qualified pipeline
- Deep knowledge of outbound infrastructure and deliverability, including domain and inbox provisioning, authentication, warm-up, rotation, bounce management, and sender reputation
- Demonstrated expertise building AI-powered workflows for research, segmentation, personalization or campaign execution
- Hands-on experience building sophisticated workflows in tools such as Clay, Claude Code, n8n, Make, Zapier, Smartlead, or similar platforms
- Strong technical foundations and comfort working with APIs, webhooks, data integrations, and conditional logic; working knowledge of SQL, Python, or JavaScript
- Experience building, enriching, and maintaining large account and contact datasets using multiple data providers and enrichment waterfalls
- Strong commercial judgment and the ability to turn customer, market, and behavioral data into repeatable growth systems that create pipeline
WHO YOU ARE
- You’re a builder who wants to own both the system and the business outcome
- You combine technical depth with commercial instinct and can move comfortably between building AI-powered workflows, campaign strategy, and pipeline review
- You’re deeply curious and enjoy uncovering unconventional data, signals, and workflows that create alpha
- You move quickly, test pragmatically, and make good decisions without waiting for perfect data or an established playbook
- You’re rigorous about the details
- You build for the people using your systems and work closely with Growth, Sales, and RevOps to understand what they actually need
- You’re high-agency, resourceful, and excited to work in person in NYC with an ambitious team that moves quickly and holds a high bar
BONUS POINTS
- Experience building signal-based outbound for a mid-market sales motion
- Experience supporting or working closely with a scaled SDR organization
- Experience in vertical SaaS, home services, or another market with a large, identifiable universe of target businesses
- Experience building agentic workflows, AI-powered internal tools, or autonomous GTM systems from scratch
BENEFITS
- Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance
- Company-sponsored 401(k) through Vestwell
- Flexible PTO plus U.S. federal holidays
- Company-wide off-sites
- Monthly wellness stipend
- Daily in-office lunch through Parkday
- Dinner covered when working late
- Commuter benefits and late-night rideshare
- Standing desks and workspace accommodations available on request
- All core tools and software provided
Compensation: The expected on target earnings for this role is $160,000-$210,000 with final compensation based on experience, skills, and qualifications determined during the interview process. Avoca’s total compensation package includes base salary, bonus, equity, and a comprehensive suite of benefits and perks. Our Recruiting team will share the full details as you progress through our hiring process.

What You'll Get
Arcadia brings a rare advantage to Life Sciences: a
market-leading, scaled payer and provider platform
as its foundation
For more than a decade, Arcadia has been the trusted data and analytics partner to health systems, physician groups, and payers nationwide. That core business provides deep, longitudinal clinical and claims data, embedded clinical workflows, and durable relationships across the healthcare ecosystem
Building on this foundation, Arcadia has assembled a large, de-identified real-world dataset combining claims and clinically rich EHR data sourced directly from provider systems. The result is a longitudinal, research-grade asset with depth and clinical context that is difficult to replicate through aggregation alone
Life Sciences is a strategic pillar built on this foundation. Arcadia has made a deliberate, multi-year investment in:
Purpose-built real-world data assets
Clinically connected solutions that link insight back into provider workflows
A growing research and collaboration ecosystem to expand data use rights
Dedicated leadership, product, data, and operational resources
The opportunity is to sell—and help shape—solutions that connect
data, analytics, and real-world clinical activation
across the pharma development lifecycle, backed by enterprise credibility and executive commitment
This role is a
founding, hands-on commercial leadership role, accountable for building the direct Life Sciences revenue engine, and deeply involved in shaping deals, messaging, and market positioning
This role is not a
channel-only or account maintenance role, a narrowly scoped quota-carrying role with a fixed playbook, and insulated from product, delivery, or execution realities
