Alan exists to end the wait.
Health is a universal right, and we believe this right can only become real when it’s coupled with prevention. It’s the healthcare system itself that needs to work for everyone, in a sustainable way.
So we are building the new standard in prevention insurance. Alan is the first company that integrates insurance, prevention, and care into a single, acclaimed user experience.
We are on an incredible journey to build a global leading company, with a unique culture https://alan.com/en/careers. We already partner with 40K+ companies of all sizes, serving more than 1M+ members, and have reached €800M+ in ARR.

You are expected to make this experience pleasant, instructive and delightful by leveraging the most relevant messaging and materials (Smart) and by defining the high-touch strategy that suits best each prospect (Soft).
We also expect you to look at the big picture and help us grow and improve as a company. For that, you’ll have to be real team players even beyond your role. You’ll be expected to challenge us to improve our product(s), our methods, and our strategy, and get involved in other projects and initiatives relevant to growing our customer base.
What does make this role exciting :
- You will close deals every single day of the year, which is very stimulating!

- You will contribute to making our products even better by sharing feedback and improving the self-serve experience for our members
- You will become an insurance expert and learn to master our products in order to confidently answer questions & objections from prospects
- We invest heavily in AI to transform the Sales practice. You'll have the opportunity to become one of the most modern Sales professionals in the market!

Paris, France; Bordeaux, France; Lyon, France; Marseille, France; Nantes, France
Location: New York, New York; San Francisco Bay Area, California
Workplace: onsite
We build production AI systems for enterprises. We are an AI-first systems integrator and a Select-tier partner in Anthropic's Claude Partner Network, among the first integrators selected. The work is good. Most people have never heard of it.
That is the job.
We are looking for a marketer, first and foremost, who can tell the story of what we build in a way that actually travels, and who is comfortable enough with code to build simple tools that make that storytelling faster and sharper. Not an engineer who writes copy on the side.
What you will do:
Turn real engineering work into stories people share.
Sit close to the teams shipping AI systems for banks, healthcare companies, and PE-backed operators, and translate what they built into video, writing, and demos that travel
Own channels outright.
Write, publish, and measure across LinkedIn, YouTube, X, and whatever channel matters six months from now that does not matter today
Run experiments and kill the ones that lose.
Real budget and real autonomy, in exchange for showing your numbers
Build simple tools when it is faster than waiting on someone else.
A scraper that watches what our market is saying. A dashboard that shows which stories moved pipeline. A microsite for a launch
What we are looking for:
You have shipped things people used.
A campaign, a channel with a real audience, a launch, a tool. We care more about what you made than where you interned
You write well and you have a point of view.
You can hold attention for 90 seconds on video and 900 words on a page
You are genuinely interested in AI, not performatively.
You read the papers or you read the people who read the papers, and you have changed your mind about something in the last six months
You are comfortable around code.
Python or TypeScript at a working level. You use Claude Code, Cursor, or equivalent day to day, enough to build a simple tool yourself rather than wait on engineering
You are anywhere from your first job to a few years in.
If you are early, show us an internship where the bar was high and a portfolio with range
You are in New York or San Francisco,
or you will be
What we offer:
Base salary of $80,000 to $180,000 depending on level and location, plus performance bonus
401(k) profit sharing plan after probation period
Unlimited PTO policy
Medical, vision, and dental insurance
Direct access to the people building the systems and to the executives selling them. Small team, no layers between you and the work
A budget for tools, models, and experiments, with no approval chain under a threshold
Promotion tied to output, not tenure
How to apply:
Do not send a cover letter. Send three links: something you wrote, something you built, and something you posted that got a reaction. One paragraph on why the third one worked.
Then, two sentences on a company whose positioning you think is wrong and what you would change.
What you'll do:
Own the full sales cycle with new advertisers globally — from lead qualification to signed contract and first integration.
Deliver quarterly and annual targets on revenue and number of onboarded advertisers.
Build and defend commercial terms: commission rates, tech fees, minimum budgets, in line with margin goals.
Maintain a transparent pipeline and reliable forecast for leadership.
Partner with account management, publisher, legal and finance teams to launch client programs fast, and feed market and competitor insights to product.
What we expect:
5+ years in B2B sales within affiliate/performance marketing, AdTech, or MarTech, with a proven track record of closing deals with international brands and e-commerce enterprise clients.
Deep understanding of CPA/CPS models, attribution, and tracking — fully fluent in key metrics including ROAS, CAC, and incrementality.
Proven full-cycle hunting experience, including self-generated pipelines, direct access to Head of Performance / CMO-level decision-makers, and managing long sales cycles.
Fluent English (C1+) for high-level negotiations; a second language relevant to target regions is a strong plus.
Disciplined approach to CRM management and accurate forecasting, with a readiness to travel and represent the company at key industry events.
We offer:
Work in the international company.
Hybrid working format (office/home office).
Corporate education — courses and trainings, meetups and conferences.
Voluntary health insurance after probation period.
We promote healthy lifestyle and encourage employees by special fitness reimbursement policy.
Effective onboarding program for a better start.
Corporate events and team buildings.

That’s the company we’ve built. Now we’d love to see what you can build. If you’re applying, try n8n out - whether you’re technical or not - and share a screenshot of your first workflow with us. The easiest place to start is here: app.n8n.cloud/register http://app.n8n.cloud/register.
We’re in a defining moment of an incredible journey. Come and build with us.
This role is fully remote from the states of Massachusetts, Virginia, NY, NJ or Florida.
We’re now looking for a Sales Enablement Manager to make sure our GTM team scales just as fast - and just as effectively.
🎯 Your main goal will be to enable GTM teams to close more deals faster by providing the knowledge, resources, and training they need to succeed at every stage of the buyer journey.
You’ll be helping us build on early-stage existing foundations (onboarding, certifications, tooling) and take it to the next level as we scale. This is a high-impact, hands-on role with a direct line to revenue outcomes.
🚀 BUILD ONBOARDING THAT SHORTENS RAMP TIME AND BOOSTS IMPACT
- Design and deliver world-class onboarding for new GTM team members across Sales, Customer Success, and Solutions Engineering.
- Track and continuously improve ramp time through tailored strategies and performance feedback loops.
- Collaborate with leadership to define what “great” looks like across roles and build onboarding paths accordingly.
📚 CREATE SCALABLE ENABLEMENT PROGRAMS THAT DRIVE REVENUE
- Translate product updates, GTM strategies, and technical concepts into clear, actionable content.
- Identify knowledge gaps and build role-specific enablement initiatives to address them.
- Design certifications and training frameworks (e.g. demo, discovery, technical proficiency) to ensure consistency and quality across the field.
🎤 RUN HIGH-IMPACT ENABLEMENT EVENTS AND INTERNAL COMMS
- Support the planning and execution of team-wide enablement moments like SKOs, regional kickoffs, and quarterly readiness sessions, partnering closely with sales and revenue leadership on strategy and messaging.
- Act as the voice of enablement for GTM teams, making sure they have the right information at the right time, through the right channels.
- Partner closely with Product, Product Marketing, and RevOps to sync launches, messaging, and process changes.
📊 MEASURE WHAT MATTERS AND MAKE ENABLEMENT A GROWTH DRIVER
- Define and track KPIs to demonstrate enablement’s impact on sales productivity, pipeline velocity, and deal size.
- Build a competency scorecard with GTM managers to support coaching and performance management.
- Use insights from sales calls, Gong data, and product usage to continuously refine your programs.
REQUIREMENTS
MUST-HAVES

- 🧠 Sales enablement experience in PLG SaaS: You have 4+ years of enablement experience at fast-growing SaaS companies, ideally building enablement from scratch in a PLG environment.
- 💼 Deal complexity experience: You've enabled teams selling mid-market to enterprise deals (6 to low-7 figures).
- 🧑💻 Technical buyer fluency: You understand how to sell to technical personas (CTOs, engineering managers) and can translate that into training that resonates with a technical AE audience.
- 📚 Learning program design: You’ve built high-quality, scalable training programs tailored to different GTM roles and seniority levels.
- 🗣️ Strong communicator: You excel at turning complex technical concepts into clear, compelling, and actionable content for sales teams.
- 🧘 Organized and proactive: You’re structured, self-directed, and take ownership without needing hand-holding.
- 🤝 Customer-first mindset: You focus on enabling the team to better articulate our value and deliver better buyer experiences.
NICE-TO-HAVES
- 🤖 Passion for automation and AI: You’re excited by the space we’re building in — and it shows.
- 🔧 Familiarity with n8n: You’ve used the product (or are eager to start).
WHY JOIN US?
This is your chance to build something from the ground up: a high-leverage enablement function in a high-growth company, with a direct line to revenue impact. You'll be joining a supportive, fast-moving, and collaborative team where enablement is viewed as a strategic lever, not a support function. Help us scale our product, our message, and our people.

🤖 THE OFFER AREA
We’re the engine that decides what Alan sells, at what price, and on what terms.
Every Alan member, from a 3-person startup to a public administration body with 200K+ collaborators is covered by an offer that our area designed, priced, contracted and renews every year.
We own the whole offer lifecycle for several kind of services (health insurance, life & disability insurance, employee benefits) across 4 countries. We manage an incredible business complexity and diversity in a scalable way, and most importantly, we empower others to act autonomously on it:
- Offer creation: Enabling Sales to build compliant and relevant offers themselves in minutes, with a real-time pricer and AI assistance, without waiting days for an actuary.
- Contract Lifecycle: Not only signing a contract in one go and writing the settings that become the source of truth for the rest of Alan, but also providing Business Ops with the tools they need to pilot over the years a portfolio of 100K+ contracts
- Enabling growth: We’re at the root of Alan’s Insurance stack. Our technical decisions have a long reach: Claims, Billing and many other teams depends on us. We are key to lift blockers and enable the opening of new segments or markets.
🚀 WHAT YOU'LL BUILD AND WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH
- 🌍 One insurance stack for every country. We're replacing country-by-country code with a shared "Core Stack": one set of shared rules, with room for local differences. Spain already runs on it, and we’re now tackling France. The architecture decisions you make will shape how Alan sells insurance for the next 10 years. (How we made our offer builder global https://medium.com/alan/how-we-refactored-one-of-our-most-used-data-models-33cadaf31313)
- 🤖 AI-native underwriting. Insurance is complex, and most insurers need actuaries on every quote. We empower our Sales to build compliant and relevant offers themselves in minutes. AI-assisted smart alternatives, price explanations, pitching and more are already in the Sales hands, and there’s much more to build.
- 🛡️ Life & Disability as a first-class product: We’re bringing this historically smaller product at Alan to the same level of maturity as Health, with first class member XP, Ops and enabling access to a much wider population.
- 🧑🚀 A growing team. You'll hire it, shape it, and decide what it works on. Talent density, onboarding, feedback, and the mix of skills the area needs are yours to own.
- 🛡️ Technical direction and operational excellence. Architecture calls, quality standards and shaping the organization and incident response as we scale to more countries. And you stay hands-on: at Alan, engineering leaders are expected to build.
⚡ WHY THIS ROLE IS SPECIAL
- Dual impact: Shape both technical excellence and team growth, engineers become better while building better products
- Leadership growth: Influence engineering culture, mentor future leaders, and drive technical strategy that shapes the future of healthcare delivery
- Your users sit next to you: Hundred of Alaners use what your team ships every day. The feedback loop between building and impact is very short, which allows you to iterate and move quickly.
- Complex domain, simple software: Regulated domain, many countries, many segments… The job is to model a messy real world into a stack that stays simple and easy to extend.
- Direct business impact. We own pricing, contract lifecycle and Sales tooling. We have a direct impact on Alan’s margin and growth.
🔍 WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We're looking for an engineering leader who gets excited about building state-of-the-art AI systems and applying them to real-world, high-stakes problems in healthcare.
LEADERSHIP EXPERIENCE
- 3+ years leading engineering teams, with a track record of building high performers.
- You partner with other product functions as a true equal: you shape the roadmap, name trade-offs honestly, and help the team commit to what it can actually deliver.
TECHNICAL FOUNDATIONS
- Experience establishing engineering excellence standards, with the ability to guide architectural decisions.
- First-hand experience shipping AI or LLM products to production is a big plus.
- You're excited and eager to keep writing code. You still review it, and you still ship some yourself.
- Comfortable with modern development practices and AI-assisted development tools.
WHAT WE VALUE
- Curious, self-starting, humble, collaborative, and eager to grow.
- You develop people as much as you develop products.
- Ex-founders are typically a great fit in our team.
MISSION ALIGNMENT
- Healthcare technology and innovation excite you
- You understand that great engineering teams are built on psychological safety and continuous learning
But above all, we are looking for high potential and curiosity: make sure to show us this when you apply!
🎯 IMPORTANT NOTE: WE HIRE PEOPLE, NOT ROLES.
If you're excited about this opportunity but don't check every box, we'd love to hear from you. Everyone, no matter how underrepresented, should feel free to apply, as it can only bring learnings or success.
If you identify yourself as a woman: Did you know that research shows women often apply only when meeting 100% of requirements?
Remember, this is just a guide, not a checklist. We'll be thrilled to receive your application!

About the Job:
We’re looking for an Engineering Manager to lead LaunchDarkly’s Cloud Engineering team, the team responsible for the foundational infrastructure our products and engineering teams depend on.
Cloud Engineering owns LaunchDarkly’s AWS accounts and networking, multi-region Kubernetes infrastructure, Terraform and GitOps workflows, CockroachDB operations, disaster-recovery capabilities, and FedRAMP infrastructure posture. The team is small, senior, and recently rebuilt. This is a frontline leadership role for a manager who treats operational health as a top priority, leads calmly through incidents, and creates leverage through software, automation, and reliable paved paths.
In your first year, you’ll lead a marquee infrastructure insourcing program from planning through completion. The program’s cost savings will help fund additional team growth, giving you the opportunity to deliver meaningful business impact while strengthening the infrastructure behind LaunchDarkly’s next stage of scale.
This role combines people leadership, operational ownership, and technical judgment. You do not need to be the most senior individual contributor in the room, but you should be comfortable partnering with experienced engineers, guiding tradeoffs, and creating an environment where the team can do its best work.
Responsibilities:
Lead and develop a senior Cloud Engineering team, providing clear expectations, coaching, feedback, performance management, and career-development support.
Own the operational health of LaunchDarkly’s cloud infrastructure, including incident response, on-call health, service-level objectives, resilience, and disaster recovery.
Launch and deliver a multi-quarter infrastructure insourcing program, including sequencing work, managing dependencies, communicating milestones, and ensuring a successful transition.
Guide technical priorities and tradeoffs across AWS infrastructure, networking, multi-region Kubernetes, infrastructure as code, GitOps, datastore operations, and compliance-related infrastructure.
Build leverage through software, automation, and paved paths that help product engineering teams use infrastructure safely and independently.
Support migrations by providing guidance, patterns, and enablement while maintaining clear ownership boundaries with partner teams.
Establish team norms for effective AI-assisted engineering and identify opportunities to reduce operational toil through AI and automation.
Maintain team health and continuity through change, fostering an inclusive, collaborative, and accountable environment.
Partner with Service Frameworks, Core Platform, Revenue Platform, Data Platform, and product engineering teams on shared infrastructure priorities and cross-team dependencies.
Communicate roadmaps, operational risks, investment needs, and progress clearly to engineering leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
Participate in hiring and team planning as the organization grows.
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience managing an infrastructure, platform engineering, or site reliability engineering team at a product company, including people management of an on-call team.
Demonstrated ownership of incident response, on-call health, and service-level objective frameworks for critical production systems.
Experience leading at least one multi-quarter infrastructure migration or insourcing program from planning through completion.
Technical fluency with AWS, Kubernetes, and infrastructure-as-code practices, with the judgment to guide discussions and tradeoffs with senior engineers.
Experience taking over an established team and maintaining engagement, performance, and retention through a leadership transition.
A clear point of view on team norms and practices for AI-assisted engineering.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical and operational priorities to a range of audiences.
A thoughtful, calm, and accountable leadership approach, particularly during incidents and periods of change.
Nice to Haves
Experience with vendor negotiations or cloud cost management.
Experience supporting FedRAMP or other compliance-related infrastructure and operations.
Experience operating large-scale datastores or OLAP systems.
Experience growing a team through funded expansion.

Replit is the agentic software creation platform that enables anyone to build applications using natural language. With millions of users worldwide, Replit is democratizing software development by removing traditional barriers to application creation.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Replit enables people to build software with AI. The infrastructure underneath that experience must make it straightforward to launch services, isolate workloads, and run reliable systems at scale.
We're hiring a hands-on Engineering Manager to lead Cloud Infrastructure: the shared infrastructure as code (IaC), networking, storage, compute, and service mesh platforms that Replit's product and platform teams depend on. You'll lead and grow an existing engineering team building and operating these foundations, including Kubernetes, shared edge networking, service mesh and workload identity.
This is a platform-building role with production accountability. You should be comfortable going deep on a design or incident while developing a team that does not depend on you for every decision.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Own the cloud-platform roadmap. Lead the team's IaC, networking, storage, compute, and service mesh platforms. Translate product, platform, reliability, and security needs into sequenced outcomes, balancing foundational investment, lifecycle work, and delivery commitments against the team's capacity.
- Make infrastructure repeatable and self-service. Build maintained IaC interfaces for services, cells, connectivity, identities, and shared resources. Enable internal customer teams to provision infrastructure without bespoke coordination or dependence on individual experts.
- Operate what the team builds. Own platform availability, upgrades, isolation, recovery, and incident remediation. Maintain clear SLOs, sustainable on-call coverage, and primary and backup owners for critical systems.
- Stay technically engaged. Review designs and production changes, debug difficult failure modes, and use AI coding tools—including Replit—to prototype and automate. Apply rigorous review and verification to AI-generated infrastructure changes.
- Build and grow a high-ownership engineering team. Coach engineers, develop technical leaders, set clear expectations, manage performance, and hire against agreed needs. Delegate meaningful ownership as the team grows.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- Demonstrated engineering management. You have led and developed engineers, made prioritization and performance decisions, hired thoughtfully, and delivered through a team—not only acted as its strongest individual contributor.
- Software-oriented infrastructure depth. You have built and operated cloud platforms or distributed systems and can reason across infrastructure code, Kubernetes, networking, service identity, and stateful dependencies.
- Safe-change and production judgment. You have owned consequential migrations and incidents, can explain failure modes and rollback limits, and know when simplifying a system is better than adding another platform.
- Platform-product and engineering judgment. You understand internal customers, create interfaces other teams adopt, and make clear tradeoffs among reliability, developer autonomy, engineering effort, and workload efficiency.
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience with multi-tenant, cellular, regional, or dedicated enterprise infrastructure.
- Familiarity with GCP/GKE, Terraform or similar IaC systems, Cloudflare, Envoy/Istio, SPIFFE/SPIRE, and managed data services.
- Experience with large-fleet rightsizing, infrastructure consolidation, or migrating CI compute without disrupting developer workflows.
- A track record using AI tools to increase engineering output while preserving production safeguards.

Hi, I'm Paul, VP of Engineering at
Customer.io
. We're looking for a staff product engineer — not a generalist who happens to touch frontend and backend, but someone who thinks like a product owner and ships like an engineer.
About
Customer.io
Over 9,000 companies — from scrappy startups to global brands — use our platform to send billions of emails, push notifications, in-app messages, and SMS every day.
Customer.io
powers automated communication that people actually want to receive.
We help teams send smarter, more relevant messages using real-time behavioral data. Under the hood: Go, React, and AI help us ship fast and scale with confidence.
What We Value
End-to-end ownership
You take on the problems nobody's claimed — the ones that span squads with no obvious owner — and carry them from a fuzzy first conversation to what's actually live. If it touches the customer, it's yours to chase down.
Comfort in ambiguity
Half-formed problems and conflicting signals are your starting material, not a blocker. You define the problem before you solve it, form a point of view on what's worth building, and move without waiting for someone else to de-risk the call.
Customer-first, always
You think from the customer's problem backward, not the codebase forward. Every technical call traces back to what it does for the person on the other end of the message — and you can explain that connection to people who don't write code. Given the choice, you ship the thing that changes their experience, not the thing that's merely elegant.
A healthy skepticism for "the way things are done"
You retire practices that have outlived their usefulness, including ones you helped build. Best practices matter — but never more than forward motion.
Force multiplication
Shipping your part isn't the bar. You bring in the right people before a problem becomes theirs to clean up, and you leave enough behind — docs, patterns, delegation — that the team keeps moving without you in the room.
What You'll Do
Own important, ambiguous problems from initial framing through launch and iteration. Set direction, align partners, and stay accountable for the result.
Partner with product, design, and data to shape priorities, scope the work, and define how success will be measured.
Lead technical decisions across the stack, including architecture, performance, reliability, and maintainability.
Lead work across teams and systems. Build alignment, resolve technical disagreements, and keep complex initiatives moving.
Improve engineering practices through mentorship, reusable patterns, and clear technical guidance.
Use AI throughout your engineering work, with sound judgment about where it helps, where it falls short, and how its output should be reviewed. Help the team improve by testing new workflows, sharing what works, and identifying useful opportunities for automation.
Participate in an on-call rotation as required, supporting the systems the team builds.
What we're looking for
A track record of leading complex work across teams or systems and delivering meaningful customer, business, or engineering outcomes.
Strong backend engineering experience, with the ability to work across the stack and lead end-to-end technical decisions.
Strong product and technical judgment, especially when the problem or path forward is unclear.
The ability to influence experienced peers and align teams without formal authority.
Experience using metrics, experimentation, and observability to guide decisions and improve production systems.
Regular, hands-on use of AI across the software development lifecycle, with the judgment to adapt as tools change while remaining accountable for quality, security, and outcomes. Experience improving how a broader team uses AI is a strong plus.
Compensation & Benefits
We believe in transparency. Starting salary for this role is $200,000 - $280,000 USD (or equivalent in local currency) depending on experience and subject to market rate adjustment. This role also carries a 10% annual bonus target. In addition to base salary, this role includes an equity grant in the form of stock options, so you share in the success you help build.
We know our people are what make us great, and we're committed to taking great care of them. Our inclusive benefits package supports your well-being and growth, including 100% coverage of medical, dental, vision, mental health, and supplemental insurance premiums for you and your family. We also offer 16 weeks paid parental leave, unlimited PTO, stipends for remote work and wellness, a professional development budget, and more.

AGENTIC ENGINEERING PLATFORM ENGINEER
Developer Productivity · AI Coding Agents · Developer Platform
🎯 Your main goal will be to keep n8n operating as an AI-native engineering organization where agents are embedded across the development cycle; helping teams plan, build, test, review, learn, and improve.
You’ll do this by maintaining and evolving the platform foundations, tools, guardrails, and team processes that make agentic development safe, measurable, and sustainable. Working with Developer Platform, Security, AI/Agents, Architecture, and product engineering teams, you’ll help teams continuously adopt what works from frontier AI and make success visible through faster feedback loops, better quality, stronger resilience, and more learning from what we ship:
BUILD THE PAVED ROAD FOR AGENTIC DEVELOPMENT
- Define safe task categories for autonomous agents, including what they can attempt, what they should never touch, and where additional review is required.
- Design and implement isolated execution environments where agents can work without exposing secrets or accessing sensitive systems unnecessarily.
- Build pilot workflows that allow selected Linear issues to be picked up by agents, tested, and converted into useful draft PRs.
MAKE N8N'S MONOREPO AGENT-READY
- Create and maintain repo instructions, agent playbooks, ownership metadata, coding guidelines, and documentation that improve agent performance.
- Continuously improve developer workflows, repo structure, testability, and documentation based on where agents succeed, fail, or create reviewer friction.
- Partner with Architecture and senior engineers to define boundaries, dependencies, and areas where agents need more context or tighter constraints.
INTEGRATE AGENTS INTO ENGINEERING WORKFLOWS
- Integrate agentic workflows with Linear, GitHub, CI, test infrastructure, and developer review processes.
- Design PR evidence templates that help reviewers understand what changed, why, what tests ran, what risks remain, and where human judgment is needed.
- Partner with Security, AI/Agents, Developer Platform, and product engineering teams to define guardrails for sensitive areas like auth, billing, permissions, and data handling.
MEASURE QUALITY, SAFETY, AND ADOPTION
- Create benchmarks from real historical engineering tasks to evaluate agent output quality, failure modes, test pass rates, review burden, and production risk.
- Define quality signals and adoption metrics such as draft PR usefulness rate, reviewer acceptance rate, CI pass rate, rework rate, and developer satisfaction.
- Use data and feedback from pilot teams to improve agent workflows, reduce unsafe attempts, and build trust across engineering.
REQUIREMENTS
MUST-HAVES
- 🧠 Autonomous coding agents: You have experience with autonomous coding agents, AI coding platforms, agent orchestration systems, or internal AI developer tooling.
- 🤖 Agentic development experience: You have practical experience building, deploying, or operating AI-assisted or agentic software development workflows that work with developers not besides them.
- 🛠️ Strong engineering foundations: You have a strong software engineering background, ideally in platform engineering, developer experience, infrastructure, tooling, CI/CD, or engineering productivity.
- 🧭 Ambiguity leadership: You’re comfortable leading a first-of-a-kind technical initiative from problem definition through pilot, adoption, measurement, and iteration.
- 🔁 Modern engineering workflows: You deeply understand GitHub, CI, testing strategies, code review, monorepos, issue tracking, developer environments, and release risk.
- 🔐 Safety-first judgment: You have strong judgment around permissions, secrets, sandboxing, sensitive code paths, and human-in-the-loop review.
- 📊 Measurable systems thinking: You know how to design benchmarks, quality signals, failure-mode tracking, and adoption metrics.
- ✍️ Clear written communication: You’re strong at writing repo instructions, playbooks, PR evidence templates, technical proposals, and alignment documents.
- 🤝 Cross-functional influence: You have credibility with senior engineers and can influence across Platform, Product Engineering, AI, Security, and Architecture without formal authority.
NICE-TO-HAVES
- 📦 TypeScript monorepos: You have worked in a large TypeScript, Node.js, or JavaScript monorepo.
- ⚙️ Developer platforms: You have experience with GitHub Actions, Linear, automated testing infrastructure, preview environments, or internal developer platforms.
- 🛡️ Security-aware platform engineering: You have worked on sandboxing, secrets management, least-privilege access, or sensitive code ownership.
- 📏 AI evaluation: You have created evaluation frameworks, benchmarks, or quality metrics for AI-generated code or automation systems.
- 🌍 Open-source communities: You have experience contributing to open-source or source-available projects with active developer communities.
- 🏢 B2B SaaS context: You understand environments where reliability, permissions, data handling, and customer trust are central.
- 🔗 Workflow automation: You’re familiar with workflow automation, integration platforms, AI orchestration, or developer-facing products.
Why join us?
At n8n, you’ll help define how autonomous AI agents become a trusted part of engineering inside one of Europe’s fastest-growing AI-native infrastructure companies. Your work will shape the platform foundations, safety model, evaluation framework, and developer workflows that determine whether agents can contribute meaningfully to production engineering without lowering the quality bar.
You’ll join a remote-first team with high autonomy, high visibility, and a strong builder mindset. Because this is a first-of-a-kind role, you’ll have the opportunity to set direction, influence engineering culture, and create learnings that may inform both internal engineering productivity and n8n’s external product thinking.

Coding agents are only as good as the context they're given. Most explore a repository like a new hire on day one – grepping, opening files, guessing. JetBrains Context replaces that with actual knowledge of your whole codebase and resources, served to any agent that asks. If you want to own the layer that decides what an agent knows before it writes a single line, this is for you.
About JetBrains
We create intelligent software development tools for developers and teams. More than 15 million users, over 300,000 companies, and 88 of the Fortune Global Top 100 rely on our products to solve real, complex problems. Our mission is simple: make development teams more productive and AI adoptable at scale.
What you’ll do
As agents get better at searching for themselves, what is the durable value of a managed retrieval layer? We need someone with an opinionated answer to own JetBrains Context as a product – defining what it is for, who it is for, how we measure success, and where it goes next.
This is a hands-on role where you'll manage the product from a terminal and agent session rather than slides. You'll bridge the technical core and cross-functional teams: collaborating closely with engineering and ML teams on indexing pipelines and retrieval quality, working with Air, IDE, and Junie teams on integrations, and partnering with marketing, developer advocacy, sales, and customer success on positioning and adoption. You'll take full ownership of defining problem statements, setting explicit trade-offs, and balancing cost, latency, and freshness across the platform.
Day to day, you will:
Build and maintain a deep working understanding of chunking, embeddings, index freshness, retrieval, reranking, and agent-facing surfaces.
Define and defend an opinionated vision for the product's evolution, including explicit target audiences, use cases, and key success metrics.
Translate product strategy into actionable problem statements, priorities, plans, and milestones with an explicit definition of “done”.
Communicate product direction clearly to engineering, leadership, cross-functional stakeholders, customers, and prospects.
Analyze competing context and code-search products through direct use to establish clear differentiators and identify gaps.
Define core operational and product metrics – index freshness, retrieval quality, agent task outcomes, adoption, retention, and unit economics – to guide decision-making.
Represent the product externally by sharing roadmaps, publishing updates, speaking to developer audiences, and gathering community feedback.
Partner with ML teams on model evaluation and platform teams on service scale, reliability, and cost.
What you’ll bring
A well-argued point of view on where AI-first development is going and what agents genuinely need from a context layer.
Comfort with technical depth across embeddings, retrieval quality, sub-agents, tool-calling, indexing costs, and API design.
The habit of using the product you build daily alongside competitors' tools.
Communication that adapts to different audiences, from staff engineers and enterprise architects to conference attendees.
A data-informed approach that combines telemetry, evaluation results, customer conversations, and market signals.
Comfort with ambiguity and a preference for defining a new category over copying an existing one.
What you’ll need
Proven experience owning a complex developer, platform, or infrastructure product end to end, including strategy and roadmap.
Hands-on familiarity with modern AI coding tools and agent workflows.
The technical capability to work directly with engineering on retrieval behavior, APIs, data models, and integration surfaces.
The ability to define metrics for quality-sensitive products and build evaluation habits that maintain product standards.
Experience communicating a product externally through written content, talks, or community engagement.
Practical experience with search, retrieval, RAG, developer search, or static analysis at scale is a plus.
What success looks like
Within your first months, you'll form and share a clear thesis for what JetBrains Context is and is not – one the engineering team recognizes as theirs and leadership can invest in. You'll establish a metrics story that distinguishes real retrieval quality from vanity usage, a roadmap with clear trade-offs, and a documented evaluation of serious competitors.
Longer term, success means JetBrains Context becomes a deliberate choice for developers and organizations, agents get measurably better answers because it exists, enterprises adopt it for its governance and scale, and the market clearly understands its unique value because you've communicated it effectively.
Why join JetBrains?
