At ClickUp, we're building the future of work: the first truly converged AI workspace unifying tasks, docs, chat, calendar, and enterprise search, all supercharged by context-driven AI. We are an AI-native company. Every team member is expected to leverage AI daily, and we evaluate AI fluency as part of our hiring process. Join us and help redefine what's possible. 🚀
THE MISSION
The Foundry is ClickUp's internal AI innovation lab — embedded inside GTM Systems and accountable for turning AI capabilities into production-grade, internally deployed products that make every GTM function faster and smarter. We build the infrastructure that powers AI-first work across Sales, Marketing, Post-Sales, and Revenue Operations.
As the Senior Software Engineer on this team you will own the technical delivery of our MCP server platform, agent orchestration layer, and internal tooling — shipping production systems used daily by hundreds of ClickUp employees, and scaling your own throughput by treating AI tools as first-class engineering collaborators.
WHAT YOU'LL OWN
MCP SERVER PLATFORM
- Design, build, and operate Model Context Protocol servers that expose CRM, ticketing, analytics, and communication data to AI agents across the GTM stack
- Implement Okta PKCE authentication flows and RBAC policy enforcement so agents access only the data they're authorized to touch
- Maintain deployment infrastructure on AWS (Bedrock, Lambda, ECS, API Gateway) and contribute to GCP workloads where applicable
- Own observability: structured logging, distributed tracing, latency SLOs, and on-call runbooks for every production server
AGENT ORCHESTRATION & AI-NATIVE PRODUCTS
- Build and maintain multi-step autonomous agents that execute end-to-end GTM workflows — lead qualification, deal room assembly, onboarding automation, support triage, and more
- Architect prompt engineering frameworks, tool-call schemas, and agent evaluation harnesses that make AI behavior predictable and auditable
- Integrate with LLM providers (Anthropic, OpenAI, AWS Bedrock AgentCore) and maintain version-pinned, cost-tracked model configurations
- Deliver AI-powered internal applications (web apps, CLI tools, Slack integrations) that non-technical GTM stakeholders use without friction
GTM PLATFORM ENGINEERING
- Own full-stack feature delivery across TypeScript/Node.js backends and React/TypeScript frontends for internal tooling
- Write Python automation scripts, ETL pipelines, and data transformation layers that feed GTM analytics and AI context
- Collaborate with Systems Engineering and GTM Engineering teams on cross-cutting API standards, data contracts, and integration patterns
- Conduct code reviews, establish engineering standards, and actively mentor junior engineers toward higher leverage
AI-NATIVE DEVELOPMENT PRACTICE
- Use AI coding assistants (Claude, Cursor, GitHub Copilot) as primary engineering accelerators — not supplements — to ship at a pace that punches above a single engineer's weight
- Document AI usage patterns, prompt templates, and agentic workflows so the team's collective throughput compounds
- Stay current on MCP protocol evolution, agent frameworks (LangGraph, CrewAI, custom), and emerging LLM capabilities; bring back what matters
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with production systems
- Expert-level TypeScript and Node.js — idiomatic, typed, testable server-side code
- Strong Python — automation scripts, data pipelines, and scripting for AI/ML tooling
- Meaningful AWS deployment experience: Lambda, Bedrock, ECS/Fargate, API Gateway, IAM, Secrets Manager, CloudWatch
- Demonstrated experience integrating with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, AWS Bedrock, or equivalent) and shipping AI-powered features to real users
- Solid foundation in REST API design, OAuth 2.0 / OIDC authentication, and secure credential management
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CDK, or SAM), and cloud cost awareness
- Clear written communication: design docs, ADRs, and runbooks that others actually read
- Track record of using AI tools (LLM assistants, copilots, agentic workflows) as a genuine productivity multiplier — not a gimmick
STRONGLY PREFERRED
- Hands-on experience with MCP (Model Context Protocol) — building servers, defining tool schemas, or operating multi-server agent environments
- GCP experience (Cloud Run, BigQuery, Cloud Functions) to complement AWS work
- Salesforce, HubSpot, or other CRM API integration work — understanding GTM data models is a significant advantage
- React or Next.js front-end capability to ship internal dashboards and tooling without hand-offs
- Familiarity with agent orchestration frameworks: LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI, or custom orchestration patterns
- Experience in a GTM Systems, RevOps, or Sales Engineering context
- Okta / identity provider integration work (PKCE flows, SCIM, token management)
HOW WE OPERATE
The Foundry runs on three principles that every team member is expected to embody:
- Ownership — You own the full lifecycle of what you build: design, delivery, observability, and iteration. We don't have a separate ops hand-off.
- Velocity — We ship to production in days, not quarters. AI tools are how we maintain that pace without sacrificing quality.
- Atomicity — Every deliverable is a discrete, composable unit — an MCP server, an agent, an API. Nothing we build requires everything else to work.
WHO THRIVES HERE
This role is a strong fit if you are genuinely excited to work at the intersection of AI infrastructure and internal product — not just as a user of AI, but as someone building the layer that makes AI useful for an entire go-to-market organization. You are comfortable with ambiguity, you default to shipping, and you see every piece of internal tooling as a product that deserves operational discipline.
This role is not a fit if you need heavily defined requirements before starting work, prefer long planning cycles to iterative delivery, or view AI tools as optional extras rather than core to how you operate.

How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

HEALTH CAN’T WAIT.
Not for symptoms to get worse. Not for a six‑month appointment. Not for a system to catch up. But that’s exactly how healthcare works today. You wait, until you can’t.
Alan exists to end the wait.
Health is a universal right, and we believe this right can only become real when it’s coupled with prevention. We need to stop treating health as something we repair and start treating it as something we build, every day. It’s not solely a question of willpower. It’s the healthcare system itself that needs to work for everyone, in a sustainable way.
So we are building the new standard in prevention insurance. Alan is the first company that integrates insurance, prevention, and care into a single, acclaimed user experience.
We are on an incredible journey to build a global leading company, with a unique culture https://alan.com/en/careers. We already partner with 40K+ companies of all sizes, serving more than 1M+ members, and have reached €800M+ in ARR.
Prevention as the new norm. That's what we're building with our team of 1000+ people. If it speaks to you: we're hiring across France, Spain, Belgium, and Canada. And beyond.
⭐️ THE ROLE: PRODUCT LEAD, GROWTH ⭐️
We are looking for a proven product leader to lead the next phase of Alan’s growth.
Our self-serve business now brings in €1M of incremental ARR every week. We got there with a funnel that was ahead of the market for years, built for health insurance, one country and one way of buying.
That playbook will not get us to the next 10x. Alan is moving to many products, many countries and new segments, and prospects are starting to buy through AI assistants. We need someone who has scaled growth before to write the next playbook and lead the product team that delivers it.
About the Growth area
The Growth area owns Alan’s self-serve business: every member and company that signs up without a sales account executive.
- It covers individuals (freelancers, retirees, etc) and small companies.
- It covers everything that happens before someone becomes a member: how prospects find Alan, how they decide we are right for them, and how they start.
- On the go-to-market side, segment leaders own offer, pricing and channels for their segments, and marketing teams run paid, SEO / GEO, partnerships, brand and more.
- On the product side, product crews build. Conversion owns the flows and referral surfaces that turn prospects into members. Growth Infrastructure owns the website, marketing measurement and marketing ops.
As Product Lead for Growth, you will lead the product side of the area and partner with our business and marketing leaders to accelerate growth.
A subset of hard questions to answer:
- One funnel to many: how do we make launching a new funnel for a new product, country or partner as easy as writing a prompt? How do we empower business owners to iterate on the conversion flows?
- Experience before signing: how does a prospect get to try Mo, the Clinic and the Shop before signing, without slowing down their decision?
- The comparison moment: how do we become the place people compare insurance on fit and value, when comparison sites rank only on price?
- Buying through AI: when the journey starts in ChatGPT, how do we become the answer it cites, and the product people can buy right there?
- Channel leverage: how do we use technology to make each acquisition channel faster, cheaper and smarter, and how do we decide spend on incrementality?
- Cross-sell at acquisition: how do we sell more than one product from the first signature?
We have strong convictions on some of these and open questions on others. We expect you to bring your own view and to change ours.
What you will do:
- Set the vision. You will own the multi-year growth product vision, turn it into a small number of big bets, and align the roadmaps behind them. You will also decide what we stop doing, so that we both invest in incremental optimization and big bets.
- Build an experimentation engine that compounds. We have a baseline of A/B testing and a shared bar for what counts as a win. You will take it to the level covering velocity, rigor, incrementality and learning loops.
- Make Growth AI-native. You will lead conversational AI in our sales flows, AI-native acquisition surfaces and Alan’s presence in LLM ecosystems. You will also build the AI tooling our marketing teams need to scale their output (content, landing pages, campaigns, lead qualification) without scaling headcount at the same rate.
- Lead and grow the team. You will manage the PMs in the area and help lead Design, Engineering and Data in the area.
- Go deep yourself. At Alan, everyone is also an individual contributor, and AI makes that more true every month. We expect you to personally drive selected initiatives to kickstart or unblock them.
- Partner with business leaders. You will work with segment leaders and marketing as a peer, and you will own growth outcomes jointly with them.
⭐️ ABOUT YOU ⭐️
- You have 6+ years of experience leading product teams, with a track record of moving the numbers at scale. You have led growth for a product with significant self-serve or B2C acquisition, and you can point to the curves you bent.
- You have led growth teams. You have managed PMs directly and you have handled hiring, coaching, hard feedback and performance calls.
- You set the vision. You have a track record of setting the direction and balancing optimizations and big bets. You have brought business, marketing and engineering leaders along with you.
- You coach. People you hired and coached have grown into strong PMs and leaders, and you raise the craft bar of the people around you.
- You deep dive. You open the funnel analysis yourself, challenge an experiment read, question attribution and spot a vanity win before anyone else.
- You are data-driven. Experimentation, incrementality and attribution are your native language, and you can push a data team to a high standard.
- You have worked across a portfolio of products and countries, ideally by building shared platforms rather than one-off flows. This is a strong plus.
- You have an opinionated view of where AI is taking acquisition and buying journeys (LLM discovery, conversational selling, agentic commerce), and you have turned that kind of view into shipped product.
- You talk to prospects and members often, you enjoy it, and what you hear changes your mind.
- You care about healthcare. Alan’s mission has to matter to you, and for us this is essential.
- You are fluent in English. French is a nice-to-have.
