About the Role
We’re looking for a technically strong, hands-on E-commerce Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a growing direct-to-consumer (DTC) business.
In this role, you’ll coordinate internal team members and external agencies across paid acquisition, retention marketing, and website operations, ensuring that projects are executed correctly, systems are working as expected, and nothing falls through the cracks.
This is not a traditional project management or high-level strategy role. We need someone who understands how e-commerce platforms and marketing channels work in practice, can confidently navigate tools like Shopify, Meta Ads Manager, and Klaviyo, and knows how to identify and troubleshoot issues when something goes wrong.
You won't necessarily be responsible for executing every marketing initiative yourself, but you'll need enough hands-on experience to evaluate the quality of execution, understand performance data, hold partners accountable, and occasionally step in to resolve operational issues.
You'll work directly with the business owner in a fast-moving environment where priorities can change quickly. This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys taking ownership, solving problems, and keeping a growing e-commerce operation running smoothly.
Responsibilities
Coordinate internal team members and external agencies across paid acquisition, retention marketing, and website management, ensuring priorities are clear and deliverables are completed on time.
Monitor Meta and Google Ads execution, review campaign activity and performance data, and ensure agencies are implementing campaigns correctly.
Oversee email and SMS marketing operations through platforms such as Klaviyo, checking campaign schedules, flows, launches, and performance.
Regularly review the Shopify storefront to identify issues, verify updates, and ensure website changes and initiatives are implemented correctly.
Investigate problems such as missed email sends, campaign setup errors, platform access issues, or website operational issues, resolving them directly when appropriate or coordinating with the responsible team.
Gather and interpret data across acquisition, retention, and website operations to provide visibility into performance, identify issues, and support informed business decisions.
Follow up on deliverables, identify execution gaps, communicate expectations, and ensure outstanding tasks are resolved rather than simply reported.
Keep initiatives moving across multiple channels, coordinate dependencies, and ensure stakeholders have clear visibility into progress and priorities.
Identify operational inefficiencies, recurring issues, and opportunities to improve processes, execution quality, and overall e-commerce performance.
Requirements
3+ years of relevant experience in e-commerce operations, DTC marketing, e-commerce project management, or a similar hands-on role.
Experience working with a direct-to-consumer (DTC) or e-commerce brand, or at an agency supporting e-commerce businesses.
Practical familiarity with Shopify, including navigating the platform, reviewing storefront changes, and troubleshooting basic operational issues.
Experience with Meta Ads Manager and a working understanding of paid acquisition campaign setup, execution, and performance monitoring.
Familiarity with Klaviyo or similar email and SMS marketing platforms, including campaign scheduling, launches, and basic troubleshooting.
Exposure to Google Ads and an understanding of how paid acquisition fits into the broader e-commerce operation.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to navigate dashboards, interpret performance data, identify inconsistencies, and communicate findings clearly.
Proven project and stakeholder management skills, including coordinating agencies, following up on deliverables, and ensuring accountability across teams.
A hands-on, solutions-oriented mindset. You're comfortable getting into the details, investigating problems, and taking action rather than simply escalating issues.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with the confidence to communicate directly with U.S.-based leadership and external partners.
Comfortable with occasional urgent requests outside standard working hours when business-critical issues arise. These situations are not constant, but flexibility and responsiveness are important.

Paired is a global staffing and recruiting agency that pairs remote work with top-tier talent. We help individuals from around the world connect with great companies that are looking for their specific skill set. Our mission is to provide great jobs to talented people, no matter where they are located.
We're looking for someone to own the finance function across our entire portfolio. Every entity, every bank account, every QuickBooks file, every payout. When a partner asks what they're owed, you know. When we ask where the money went last month, you already have the answer.
About our client:
Ecom Business (
ecombusiness.com
) is a portfolio of ecommerce companies doing multi-eight figures a year across US and international entities. We're the founders behind
Evolve
and
Origins
, the #2 & #11 communities on all of Skool (we consult over 2,500 brands). We're building
ecomuniversity.com
, an education platform teaching ecommerce skills at the highest level that has already trained over 1,000+ editors. We run
ecombounty.com
, where trained editors create ads for brands through performance. And we're getting ready to launch our first direct to consumer brand. Every company we launch adds more entities, bank accounts, partners and payouts. And our finance function hasn't kept up.
Responsibilities
Own the books for every entity, US and international, in QuickBooks Online. Clean entity and class structure, reconciled every month.
Direct our accounting assistant on categorization, receipts, invoices and reconciliations, and QA their work.
Run payouts with our accounting assistant for the whole team: contractors, partners and distributions. Right person, right amount, right time, documented.
Track ownership splits and distributions so every partner knows exactly what they're owed and why.
Build dashboards showing cash, revenue, costs and margins by entity and across the portfolio.
Build projections and cash flow forecasts so we make decisions before problems show up.
Bring the partners a monthly read on the business: what's growing, what's leaking and what to do about it.
Review costs, subscriptions and vendor spend, and work with the team to optimize them.
Set up finance for every new company from day one: bank accounts, QuickBooks file and structure.
Requirements
2 to 3+ years in accounting or finance, ideally owning the books for a multi-entity business at eight figures or more
Expert in QuickBooks Online: classes, multiple entities and consolidated reporting
Comfortable across US and international entities and currencies. US tax knowledge is a plus, not a requirement.
Ecom experience is a bonus, not a requirement. It helps you understand Shopify payouts, Stripe, ad spend and contractor payments faster.
CPA, CA, ACCA or equivalent strongly preferred
AI-native. You use AI to build models, dashboards and workflows faster, and you know what never gets uploaded. Our financial data stays private.
Available during our core hours, with strong async communication
References from founders or owners whose books you've run are a big plus
THIS IS NOT FOR YOU IF
You need someone to tell you what to do next
You're a bookkeeper who enters transactions and never asks why
"Close enough" is fine with you on a reconciliation
You've never owned the books for a business doing eight figures or more
You would describe yourself as Type B
Benefits
Competitive salary in USD + performance bonus
Fully remote

The Opportunity
As a Customer Success Representative, you will play a critical role in delivering an exceptional customer experience across every interaction.
You will own customer interactions from initial inquiry through resolution, ensuring customers feel heard, supported, and valued. Your focus will be on building trust, resolving concerns, preventing avoidable churn, and strengthening long-term customer relationships.
This role goes beyond traditional customer support. You will proactively understand customer needs, identify opportunities to improve their experience, and use customer insights and operational data to help increase satisfaction and customer retention.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve complex issues, identify recurring customer pain points, and contribute to improvements that create a stronger overall customer experience.
Work Schedule & Shift Flexibility
Our customer operations run 24/7 to support customers across different markets and time zones.
Team members work 8-hour shifts, rather than working 24/7 themselves. Because our operations require continuous coverage, employees should be comfortable working different shifts, including morning, evening, night, weekend, and holiday shifts when required.
Shift assignments may change based on business needs, team coverage, and operational requirements. Candidates must therefore be flexible and willing to move between shifts when required.
This role is onsite in Islamabad and requires reliable attendance according to the assigned shift schedule.
What You'll Own
Manage customer interactions across phone, email, and live chat, delivering timely, personalized, and consistent support across all channels.
Build strong customer relationships by demonstrating empathy, ownership, and a customer-first approach throughout every interaction.
Proactively identify customer concerns, churn risks, and friction points, taking appropriate action to strengthen retention and lifetime value.
Own customer issues end-to-end, investigating complex cases, resolving concerns effectively, and escalating high-priority matters when required.
Maintain accurate CRM records of customer interactions, resolutions, feedback, and relevant insights to ensure clear cross-functional visibility.
Identify recurring customer issues, trends, and feedback, translating insights into actionable opportunities to improve the customer journey.
Partner with Customer Success, Operations, Marketing, Product, and other teams to resolve complex customer needs and address root causes.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that reduce customer friction, strengthen service quality, and drive customer satisfaction and retention.
Skills & Qualifications
4+ years of experience in Customer Support, Customer Success, Customer Experience, or a related function, preferably within US/UK retail or e-commerce.
Proven experience driving customer retention, loyalty, relationship management, and overall customer satisfaction.
Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to handle complex, sensitive, and high-impact customer interactions with professionalism and empathy.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to investigate root causes, exercise sound judgment, and drive effective resolutions.
Hands-on experience with CRM and customer support platforms, with Gorgias preferred; familiarity with Shopify and e-commerce ecosystems is a strong advantage.
Proven ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth, 24/7 environment, managing multiple priorities while maintaining service quality and accountability.
Highly adaptable and customer-focused, with strong ownership, follow-through, and the ability to work across assigned shifts while delivering against CSAT, response quality, resolution, and retention KPIs.

What The Role Is
We're hiring a Staff MLE for the Discovery team to own recommendations and personalization across Babylist's consumer experience — the homepage feed, product recs, search, and the ML-powered systems that make registry building feel effortless.
Babylist was built on editorial recommendations: products chosen by people with deep baby gear expertise. That editorial foundation is a big part of why millions of families trust us. We're now building ML-powered personalization on top of it, using one of the richest first-party datasets in parenting.
We're early in this work, and we have a real mandate. A small Discovery team has initial retrieval and reranking models live on parts of the site and a steady cadence of A/B tests. We are looking for a Staff MLE who has seen personalization done well at scale and can set the technical direction for where we go next.
Registry building is the heart of the Babylist product. Every parent builds a list of dozens of products, from swaddle to stroller, with real stakes (a friend or family member is going to buy these things, and a baby is going to use them). As a universal registry, this registry also typically spans many retailers. This makes registry building on Babylist one of the most interesting personalization problems in consumer e-commerce: latent intent, life-stage progression, multi-stakeholder gift dynamics, deep declarative signal in millions of completed registries, cross-retailer datapoints, and a user who genuinely wants help.
If you want to join a mature ML org and tune models at the margins, this isn't the right role. If you've worked inside a strong recommendations team, learned what good looks like, and want to build from zero-to-one at a company earlier in the journey, read on.
What You'll Own
You'll be the technical lead for personalization on the Discovery team, working alongside a PM, Engineering Manager, Senior MLE and fullstack software engineers. You set where our models go over the next year or two, sequence the bets that get there, and stay deep in building. A few examples of the problems you’ll get to shape:
Product recommendations across every surface.
Product detail pages, add-next recommendations after someone adds to their registry, vibes/aesthetic representations of products and the shared models underneath them.
Personalizing the Feed.
Deciding which products, editorial content and social content each family sees, and in what order.
Personalizing search.
Bringing what we know about a family into search results, and helping decide how much search should share retrieval and ranking with recommendations.
Making Addie (our AI registry assistant) better at recs.
Working with the team behind Addie so its product suggestions draw on the same models and signals as the rest of the site.
In practice, you will:
Take a fuzzy business problem from first sketch to production model, and own whether it moved the metric.
Make the modeling and architecture calls that span surfaces and are expensive to reverse.
Design the evaluation, offline and online, that tells us a model is good before and after it ships.
Know when a rule or a simple baseline is the right first step, and when it's time to pursue more advanced approaches.
Partner with product, design and data to help shape what's worth building.
Coach engineers on the team, and more broadly be an ML expert and resource to the wider engineering org.
Who You Are
You’ve shipped recommendation and/or personalization systems that reached real users at scale within a consumer product, and can point to the business impact of your work. You’ve done this within a team that did ML well — you know what good looks like, and are motivated to bring that to a company earlier in their ML journey.
You bring:
Expertise in recommender fundamentals: for example, candidate generation vs. ranking, offline vs. online evaluation, cold start solutions, and handling position and popularity bias.
Fluency in the Python ML stack and comfort owning models through deployment and monitoring, including contributions to our application backend.
An ability to take an ambiguous problem and start moving before anyone hands you the full picture.
A builder's instinct for early-stage ML. You understand effort vs. effectiveness tradeoffs and can advocate for when a rule beats a model, or a model is “good enough” for early learnings.
An outcome and user focused mindset. You measure yourself by business impact, and you can connect a model change to user experience & registry adds, conversion or revenue.
AI-native daily practice. You're already using AI to move faster and improve your output, and you stay curious about what's coming next.
Compensation
We post real numbers. For a Canada-based Staff Engineer, the starting base salary range is 299,300 to 372,600 CAD plus a target annual bonus of 20 percent of base. That's total target cash of roughly 359,160 to 447,120 CAD. On top of that you get meaningful equity and a 401(k) match. Where you start in that range depends on your experience, and your pay grows from there with performance and scope.
How We Build
AI is the default here. Engineers run agentic sessions for most of the work, and a lot of the interesting engineering now lives in the scaffolding that makes the agents good: the eval harnesses, the curated context, custom review skills and fast CI. Agents also triage incidents and handle a big share of support. A human always owns the outcome.
The architecture is intentionally simple: one Rails monolith, MySQL and few moving parts. That's deliberate. Simple infrastructure lets us move fast and lets AI reason about the whole system, so the hardest problems are the ones in front of customers.
The Stack
Core app:
Rails, Packwerk, React, TypeScript, Sidekiq

Why Babylist
An engineer, expecting her first baby, couldn't find the registry she wanted. So she built it. That's how Babylist started, and it's still how we work: engineers solving problems for families. Becoming a parent is one of the biggest moments in a person's life. Millions reach it for the first time every year, making thousands of decisions and figuring it out as they go. That's who we build for, and we're a long way from done.
Ten million people give gifts through Babylist every year. We did more than $750M in revenue in 2025, up 45 percent over the year before, and we've been profitable for eight years while staying independent. So you can take on a hard, multi-year problem without watching over your shoulder for the next round or the next correction. And the team is small, around 65 engineers, so what you ship stays visible and your scope stays wide.
How We Work
Remote-first across the US and Canada, and we have been for years. That's not changing. We trust you to own your time and your outcomes, and we get everyone in a room together twice a year. Teams are small, pods of three to five engineers, so nothing you ship disappears into a committee. You'll work shoulder to shoulder with product, design and data, and with the partners across the business who rely on what you ship. You'll also stay close to customers yourself: sitting in on user interviews, watching session recordings, riding along with support. Here that's part of the engineering job, on a regular basis.
How We Hire
Three rounds, usually two to three weeks start to finish.
Recruiter conversation (30 minutes).
Trade context: what you want next, what we're building and straight answers on comp, team and remote.
Technical screen (1 hour).
One round, no AI, language-agnostic. Reach for Google when you normally would. We just want to see how you reason from first principles.
Final round (4 hours).
Four one-hour interviews: system design, AI-assisted coding with the tools you'd actually use here, product sense and culture and values. You'll hear back either way within 24 to 48 hours.
If your timeline is tight, tell us and we'll move faster.
Benefits
Company-paid medical and fully covered dental and vision
A 401(k) match
Generous paid parental leave for birthing and non-birthing parents, plus a gradual return-to-work program
Winter Wonder Week, a paid company-wide week off at the end of the year
A remote-work stipend
Mental-health and wellness support
A Few Things To Know
We record and transcribe interviews to evaluate candidates, in line with applicable privacy laws.
We expect you to use AI in your work and we welcome it in the process, but what you submit and say should reflect your own thinking.
If you have a family member or close relationship with a Babylist employee, let your recruiter know.
Official outreach only ever comes from an @babylist.com address

We are looking for
Senior Payments Processing Engineer
to join us as part of our team
About the role
As a
Senior Payments Processing Engineer
you will join a product team building payment infrastructure for merchants and partner platforms. The platform enables businesses to accept payments, manage payouts, process card and bank transactions, and handle payment-related operations without relying on multiple disconnected providers.
The engineering challenges go far beyond basic payment integrations. The platform handles payment orchestration, transaction processing, settlement and reconciliation, payouts, fraud and KYC integrations, and complex failure scenarios across systems that the team does not fully control.
This role is a strong fit for an engineer who understands how money actually moves through payment systems and is comfortable owning critical backend flows end to end.
Tech Stack
TypeScript across the board, in a pnpm monorepo
NestJS backend services; Next.js and React on the front end
PostgreSQL, with SQL-first data modeling and versioned migrations
Event-driven service orchestration, webhooks, and idempotent processing
Acquirer and vendor integrations for card/ACH acceptance, fraud screening, payouts, and KYC
Managed cloud infrastructure, containerized services, CI/CD on GitHub
AI-assisted development as a standard part of the toolchain, not a side experiment
Work environment
Full-time, remote. Daily collaboration with a US-based team (4–6 hours of overlap with US Central Time is required)
As a qualified expert You will
Own end-to-end payment flows in TypeScript/NestJS services: authorization, capture, void, refund, dispute handling, and payout initiation and confirmation.
Build and maintain acquirer and processor integrations, keeping the platform acquirer-agnostic behind clean internal abstractions.
Design embedded and hosted checkout experiences (hosted fields, iframes, tokenization) that keep sensitive cardholder and bank data out of internal systems and minimize PCI scope.
Implement fee calculation and rate logic, including tiers, interchange-plus, flat structures, rounding rules, special rates, and edge cases.
Build the reconciliation and settlement layer to match processor reports and settlement files against internal records and surface breaks.
Design event handling incorporating idempotency keys, out-of-order and duplicate webhooks, retries with backoff, and state machines.
Integrate fraud, bank-account verification, and KYC providers, tuning decisioning against real outcomes.
Handle ACH mechanics including submission windows, returns, return codes, NOCs, and retry rules.
Ensure correctness in the domain, maintaining complete audit trails and producing reconciliation evidence.
Act as the team's payments expert, advising product on rail capabilities and reviewing payment-adjacent code.
What Success Looks Like
First 30 days — you can trace any transaction through the platform end to end, and you have documented the gaps and risks you see in current flows.
First 90 days — you own a critical payment domain including its specs, tests, and reconciliation checks, and you have shipped a meaningful improvement to reliability or correctness.
First 6 months — payment orchestration in your area is provably correct and observable, adding a new processor or payout rail is a well-understood exercise rather than an adventure, and you are the person the team and the business rely on for payments judgment.
We're looking for you if you have
6+ years building production software
, with at least
3 years hands-on in payments
, and direct ownership of live payment flows.
Concrete experience
integrating a payment processor, gateway, or acquirer
(Adyen, Stripe, Braintree, Worldpay, Checkout.com, Fiserv, or similar) beyond a starter integration — including webhooks, reporting, and edge-case handling.
Practical understanding of the card lifecycle (auth, capture, settlement, refund, chargeback, representment) and of ACH/bank rails (NACHA basics, returns, timing).
Working knowledge of
PCI DSS
obligations and of the architectural patterns that reduce scope: tokenization, hosted fields, iframe isolation, and data-flow segregation.
Strong
TypeScript/Node.js
skills and solid relational data modeling — you can design a schema whose invariants make an inconsistent ledger structurally difficult.
A rigorous approach to reconciliation and idempotency, informed by having been on the hook when something didn't balance.
Fluency with modern AI-assisted development tooling, paired with the discipline to verify — in payments, plausible-looking code that is subtly wrong is the expensive kind.
Strong English communication skills
and confidence working directly with a US-based team.
Ability to work with
4–6 hours of daily overlap with US Central Time
.
Bonus points
Experience with platform, marketplace, or facilitator models (split payments, sub-merchant onboarding, multi-party flows).
Experience with payouts and disbursement rails, including bank-account collection, verification, and payout status handling.
Experience with fraud and risk tooling, and bank-account validation services.
Experience with e-commerce plugin or SDK development (WooCommerce, Shopify, Magento).
Knowledge of multi-currency, cross-border, or alternative payment methods.
Experience with event sourcing applied to financial state, and double-entry ledger design.

Tempo is a layer-1 blockchain purpose-built for stablecoins and real-world payments, born from Stripe’s experience in global payments and Paradigm’s expertise in crypto tech.
Tempo’s payment-first design provides a scalable, low-cost predictable backbone that meets the needs of high-volume payment use cases. Our goal is to move money reliably, cheaply, and at scale. Our north star is simplicity for users: fintechs, traditional banks, merchants, platforms, and anyone else looking to move their payments into the 21st century.
We're building Tempo with design partners who are global leaders in AI, e-commerce, and financial services: Anthropic, Coupang, Deutsche Bank, DoorDash, Mercury, Nubank, OpenAI, Revolut, Shopify, Standard Chartered, Visa, and more.
We’re a team of crypto-optimists, building the infrastructure needed to bring real, substantial economic flows onchain. We like to move fast and swing for the fences — join us!
The role
You will be our first policy and government relations hire. You'll build Tempo's presence in Washington from the ground up. You'll represent us on Capitol Hill, with regulators, and across industry coalitions, and you'll help the company understand and shape the rules that govern stablecoins, digital payments and agentic commerce.
We're looking for a seasoned senior leader who is not afraid to roll up their sleeves. As our first policy and government relations hire, you’ll set the strategy and run it yourself. You will be our voice to Congress and regulators. You will also be a strategic partner to Legal, Product, Comms/Marketing, and GTM, shaping how policy factors into product decisions from the earliest stage. Context shifting will be critical to success; the best candidate will understand how to move between strategy and execution hour to hour and day to day.
Responsibilities
- Build and run Tempo's federal government relations strategy, with a focus on stablecoin, payments, digital assets and agentic commerce legislation and rule making
- Develop and maintain relationships with Members, committee staff and relevant regulators
- Engage on emerging AI and agentic commerce policy as it intersects with payments
- Track and analyze federal and key state policy developments, then turn them into clear guidance for leadership and product teams
- Draft comment letters, testimony, white papers, one-pagers, and briefing materials
- Build and manage Tempo's presence in trade associations and industry coalitions, and build alliances across the payments, fintech, and AI ecosystems
- Support company leadership in DC engagement
- Manage outside lobbying and policy consultants as needed
- Own the policy function end to end as a hands-on individual contributor
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of policy or government relations experience
- In-house government relations experience at a payments, fintech, financial services, or technology company
- Experience with payments policy, including stablecoins, money transmission, BSA/AML, card networks, real-time payments, or fintech regulation
- Strong relationships and credibility on both sides of the aisle
- Direct experience with digital asset policy, such as stablecoin legislation and implementation, market structure, or tax
- Excellent written and oral communication skills: you can turn complex technical and regulatory issues into crisp, persuasive material
- A self-starter comfortable working in a fast-moving startup, and quickly toggling between strategy and execution
Preferred qualifications
- Prior Capitol Hill experience, preferably on financial services, banking, or agriculture issues
- Experience with AI or agentic commerce policy
- Multi-client experience at a lobbying firm, consultancy, or trade association
- Familiarity with federal agency rulemaking and regulatory engagement
Attributes
- High motor; speed is a cherished attribute at Tempo
- Concise, evidence-based communicator
- Intense curiosity and open-mindedness
- Scrappiness; willingness to roll up sleeves
