Location: US, Boston, MA Workplace: OnSite Here at Humanoid, we believe in a future where robots amplify human potential. That’s why we’ve set out on a mission to build the world’s most capable, commercially-scalable, and safe humanoid robots. We’re bringing that mission to life with HMND‑01 - our rapidly developed humanoid platform being deployed in real industrial environments - and we’re growing the team to take it even further. ABOUT THE ROLE Humanoid is seeking a Head of Solutions Engineering to turn customer operational needs into feasible, commercially compelling robotics solutions. Based in Boston, you will partner with the Commercial, Product, Engineering and Deployment teams to lead technical discovery, define customer requirements and build a clear path from initial evaluation to scaled deployment. Initially, you will be the core individual contributor: personally visiting customer sites, designing solutions, developing technical proposals and creating the pre-sales material the Commercial team needs. As demand grows, you will establish and lead the Solutions Engineering function across the UK/EU, US and MENA, hiring and developing regional engineers while retaining direct involvement in strategic opportunities. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Customer discovery and requirements: - Lead customer site visits and operational assessments to understand workflows, volumes, layouts, materials, shift patterns and constraints; identify repeatable, high-value use cases for humanoid robotics. - Align customer Operations, Engineering, IT, Safety, Procurement and executive stakeholders on the problem to solve and measurable success criteria, including throughput, availability, accuracy and human intervention. - Build credible business cases and fleet-sizing models covering utilisation, labour assumptions, total cost of ownership, payback and sensitivity to performance and deployment ramp-up. - Solution design and Product partnership: - Define solution concepts, workflows, layouts, robot configurations, infrastructure and interfaces with customer systems such as WMS, MES, ERP and existing automation. - Work with Product and Engineering to validate feasibility, distinguish demonstrated capabilities from development requirements, and agree capability gaps, owners, validation plans and realistic timelines. - Translate customer demand into prioritised Product requirements, balancing commercial value, engineering effort and the potential to reuse capabilities across customers. - Identify safety, cybersecurity and deployment compliance requirements, coordinating with the relevant specialists and documenting the actions needed for customer approval. - Technical pre-sales and commercial enablement: - Own the technical content of proposals, solution specifications, statements of work, RFI/RFP responses and customer technical due diligence, working with Commercial and Legal on commitments. - Provide technical cost and resource estimates to support pricing, deployment planning and commercial risk assessment. - Create and maintain the full pre-sales technical library: capability and performance evidence, use-case descriptions, technical presentations, reference architectures, layouts, integration guides, FAQs, demonstration assets, business-case models and requirements/SOW templates. - Train Commercial colleagues and relevant partners to qualify use cases, gather the right site data and communicate approved technical capabilities consistently. - Use operational modelling and simulation to assess suitability and deployment economics, including Humanoid AnalitIQ where appropriate. - Validation, acceptance and deployment handover: - Define the technical scope of demonstrations, proofs of concept and pilots, including baseline measurements, test conditions, resources, milestones, pass/fail criteria and the evidence required for acceptance. - Work with Commercial to connect each evaluation to a measurable long-term business case and a credible path to larger fleet or multi-site deployment. - Coordinate technical input to trials with Product, Engineering and Deployment; evaluate results, resolve gaps and translate learning into revised requirements and reusable material. - Build and lead the global function: - Define the Solutions Engineering operating model, ownership, technical review process and engagement with regional sales teams, Product, Engineering and Deployment. - Develop a phased hiring and coverage plan across the UK/EU, US and MENA, aligned to pipeline value, opportunity complexity, travel demand and delivery capacity. - Recruit, onboard, coach and lead regional Solutions Engineers, establishing consistent standards for discovery, solution design, technical documentation and commercial judgement. - Establish the tools, CRM discipline, knowledge base and reporting needed to track requirements, feasibility decisions, proposal progress, technical risks and team performance. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR - 8+ years of proven experience in Solutions Engineering, Solutions Architecture, Pre-Sales Engineering or a similar customer-facing technical role, ideally within robotics, industrial automation or complex hardware solutions. - Solid understanding of industrial workflows, automation systems and integrations with platforms such as WMS, MES and ERP. - Strong commercial acumen, with experience building business cases, ROI models, fleet-sizing estimates, TCO assessments and deployment cost models. - Ability to work cross-functionally with Commercial, Product, Engineering, Deployment and customer stakeholders to validate feasibility, manage technical risks and align on delivery commitments. - Direct experience with humanoid robotics, autonomous mobile robots (AMRs), industrial robotics or AI-driven automation. - Familiarity with operational modelling, simulation tools and robotics deployment economics. - Experience scaling a Solutions Engineering or technical pre-sales function in a high-growth technology company. - Willingness to travel to customer sites and work closely with teams and customers across the UK/EU, US and MENA. WHAT WE OFFER - Competitive equity: stock options with meaningful upside as we scale. - 30+ paid days off, including 23 days of annual leave, all UK bank holidays, and additional company closure days (including Christmas–New Year shutdown). - Private healthcare, including virtual and in-person care. - Pension scheme with 8% total contribution (5% employee, 3% employer) on full earnings. - Free daily breakfast, catered lunch, and snacks in-office. - Work at the frontier - collaborate daily with world-class engineers, researchers, and product experts building the next generation of AI and humanoid robotics. - Real ownership - direct access to founding leadership, meaningful input on product direction, and the ability to drive key initiatives from day one.

We are where the world checks out, enabling over 10 billion transactions yearly for more than one billion global shoppers. Whether you want to book a holiday, order food, renew a subscription, or check out online, there’s a good chance our tech powers the payments behind the scenes. Our platform helps the most ambitious businesses deliver effortless digital experiences, at scale. If you want to do career-defining work, you’ve come to the right place. We move fast, think globally, and believe great teams are built by hiring exceptional people with conviction, curiosity, and the desire to make an impact. With 20 offices across six continents and London as our HQ, we’re shaping the future of fintech – and we’re just getting started. You'll join the Issuing Operations team in London and own the technical side of card issuing deals from first conversation to go-live. Pre-sale, you're front and centre: positioning our issuing platform, building custom card program flows, live demos, and POCs, and winning over the prospect's engineers, product leads, and payments architects while your Account Executive drives the commercial thread. Once the deal is ready, the weight shifts: our Implementation Engineers lead the build and you stay close, ensuring your issuing card program survives contact with reality. You'll work on a modern, fast-moving platform alongside passionate payments experts across commercial and operations teams. People who do well here are curious by default: they pull threads, teach themselves what the job needs next, and thrive in fast-paced commercial environments where they act before anyone asks. If that's how you work, you'll like it here. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING - Drive Technical Deal Execution: Partner closely with Sales and Account Managers and the broader Issuing Operations team in high-velocity, high-stakes commercial environments to position Checkout.com http://Checkout.com’s card issuing platform, winning complex, multi-product deals. - Architect Card Issuing Solutions: Understand client requirements across card issuing (virtual and physical cards, funding approaches, balance management, interchange economics as examples) and map them to our APIs and operational workflows to create robust solution designs. - Build & Demonstrate: Run live technical demos, create POCs, and customise technical presentations for developer, operational, and executive audiences alike. - Provide Issuing Domain Leadership: Act as an expert on Card Issuing, Program Management, Authorisation & Settlement streams, Network Tokenisation, 3DS, Fraud/Risk Controls, and card program operations. - Lead Client Technical Interactions: Lead all technical discussions, from discovery calls and architecture workshops to operational readiness sessions, from first contact through go-live, collaborating closely with Implementation Engineers. - Support Complex Procurement (RFPs/RFIs): Support the BID management team on technical, operational, security, and card program design queries in RFP and RFI responses. - Voice of the Customer & Operational Feedback: Feed real-world program manager and developer feedback back to Product, Engineering, and Issuing Operations to champion card issuing feature enhancements and process improvements. - Industry & Technical Mastery: Maintain deep expertise on Checkout.com http://Checkout.com’s issuing platform and stay ahead of evolving card scheme rules, issuing infrastructure, and European payment regulations. - Full Lifecycle Technical Ownership: Equally comfortable wearing the hat of a pre-sales Solutions Engineer to win complex deals, and driving post-launch technical support, operational health, and incident resolution in production environments, fully owning the 360-degree client relationship from initial discovery through long-term delivery. ABOUT YOU EXPERIENCE - 5+ years in a high-velocity, client-facing technical role (Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, Pre-Sales Consultant, Implementation Engineer, or Technical Account Manager) at a PSP, Card Issuer / Issuer, Processor, Fintech, or Payments company. - Proven track record operating directly in fast-paced commercial environments, managing competing deal priorities, and driving commercial momentum alongside sales and operations teams. - Mandatory UK & EEA Issuing Experience: Hands-on experience designing, launching, or supporting virtual and physical card programs within the UK and EEA regulatory and scheme landscapes. - Issuing Domain Knowledge: Expert understanding of card program mechanics, BIN ranges, issuer processing, and scheme compliance (Visa/Mastercard). - Payment Foundations: Strong grasp of end-to-end payment flows, 3DS, Network Tokenisation, Apple/Google Pay, Strong Customer Authentication (SCA), and fraud engine mechanics. TECHNICAL SKILLS - Coding Ability: You can code and are comfortable with web technologies. Proficiency in at least one front-end (JavaScript, React) or back-end language (Node.js, Python, Java, .NET, Go). - API & Debugging Mastery: Expert in API-based integrations (REST/JSON, Postman, Webhooks); able to build, reproduce, isolate, and explain technical issues using logs, API responses, and test environments. HOW YOU WORK - Exceptional Communicator: Clear written and verbal English; equally at home pitching to CTOs and lead architects as you are detailing unit economics and operational flows to CFOs, Operations leads, and C-level stakeholders. - Commercially Minded: You talk interchange, authorization rates, card program economics, and revenue impact, not just API endpoints, and proactively push opportunities through the sales funnel. - Highly Organised: Thrives under pressure with the ability to prioritise shifting workloads in a fast-moving, deal-driven environment. NICE TO HAVE - Global Issuing Experience: Exposure to launching card programs in global jurisdictions outside the UK/EEA (e.g., US, APAC, LATAM, MENA). - Background: Former software engineering, developer advocacy, or technical product management background. - Languages: Business fluency in an additional European language. Additional Information Bring all of you to work We create the conditions for high performers to thrive, through real ownership, fewer blockers, and work that makes a difference from day one. Location: Hong Kong Position Summary We are looking for a Financial Reporting and Control Manager to own group reporting and the monthly close across Hex Trust's legal entities in Asia, the Middle East, and the Americas. You will run the group consolidation in Workday, our new ERP, and own the numbers that go to the Executive Committee, the Board, our auditors and our regulators. Our finance team is deliberately small. Workday and AI tools handle most of the transaction processing, reconciliation and first-draft analysis, so your job is to run the close as a controlled process, check what the systems produce, and stand behind the result. The role suits a qualified accountant who wants more ownership than a large finance team would offer, and who is comfortable reviewing work that a machine has prepared. You will report to the Director of Finance and work closely with the Group CFO. Duties & Responsibilities Own the monthly group close as a controlled process: set the close calendar, run the review gates, and sign off entity results with the Director of Finance. Run the group consolidation in Workday, including intercompany eliminations and currency translation, and review the system output rather than assembling it by hand. Catch the cases where a system-generated elimination or translation is wrong. Produce the monthly Executive Committee reporting and the quarterly board reporting for the Group, Singapore and MENA, delivered through our live financial dashboard. Turn the automated variance analysis into clear commentary that you can defend. Review the closes of the material legal entities, and own intercompany recharges and reconciliations. Deliver the statutory audits across the group with the Director of Finance: prepare schedules and workpapers, manage auditor requests, and challenge proposed adjustments where the treatment is wrong. Account for digital assets, staking and validator income, stablecoin activity and trading results, with treatment and documentation that are ready for audit. Prepare regulatory financial returns, including monthly reporting to VARA in Dubai and returns to the MAS in Singapore, for sign-off by the Director of Finance. Coordinate tax compliance with our local advisors across jurisdictions. Keep the finance procedures and our finance knowledge base current, so that the automated tools and AI agents work from accurate instructions. Work with the finance operations team to extend the automation of the close and of our reporting. Requirements Qualified accountant (CPA, ACCA or equivalent) with three to five years of experience, ideally including audit at a Big Four or mid-tier firm. Hands-on experience of group consolidation, intercompany eliminations and multi-currency reporting across several legal entities. Experience with a modern ERP; Workday is a strong advantage. We value ERP experience over advanced spreadsheet consolidation skills. Sound technical accounting under IFRS or HKFRS. Experience with digital assets or crypto accounting is an advantage but not a must. Comfortable working with AI tools and automated workflows. Much of your first draft will come from a system, and your job is to question it. Examples of where you have used AI tools in finance work are a plus. The judgement to say a number is wrong, to push back on an auditor, and to explain results clearly to senior stakeholders. Experience with regulatory financial reporting in Hong Kong, Singapore or Dubai is an advantage. Strong written and spoken English. Cantonese or Mandarin is an advantage. Candidates who do not tick all the boxes are still encouraged to apply, those with less experience will still be considered for the position but with an adjustment to the level of seniority. Benefits As one of the leading Web3 innovators, Hex Trust offers a front-row seat in the ever-changing blockchain & crypto industry. We genuinely believe that people are our greatest asset, and invest heavily so they’re best prepared to support our mission to unlock ownership in decentralized markets! You will be joining a company that is always committed to creating a supportive & inclusive environment that promotes personal and professional growth that furthers your success and drives innovation, collaboration, and passion in the blockchain space. At Hex Trust, we are proud of our H.E.X. culture: Heart Empowerment Xcellence Join us at Hex Trust and not only can you look forward to working with blockchain professionals to build the decentralized future, but also: Competitive Salaries & Bonuses Generous Amounts of Paid Time Off (incl. leave for Birthdays, Work Anniversary, and Mental Health etc.) Access to Corporate Discounts and exclusive Employer Perks Medical & Retirement Plans Professional Learning and Development Opportunities Elevate your work using cutting-edge technology Fun & friendly office spaces in Hong Kong, Singapore, Dubai and Vietnam Regular company & social events Hex Trust is an equal-opportunity employer devoted to diversity and inclusion in the workplace. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, colour, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status or disability status.
