THE ADVENTURE AHEAD
As a Senior Product Engineer, you bring strong expertise in either backend or frontend engineering alongside the ability and willingness to work across the full stack. You own features end to end, working across customer facing applications, services, APIs, and integration boundaries to deliver complete product outcomes.
Your primary strength may be building cloud native backend services and event driven systems, or developing complex frontend experiences and application architecture. We do not expect equal specialization in every part of the stack. We value strong fundamentals, depth in your primary area, and the ability to contribute effectively across system boundaries.
You work closely with Product, Design, QA, and other engineers to understand customer problems, make sound technical decisions, and take solutions from idea through production and iteration.
THE DAY TO DAY
- Own features end to end Take customer and product problems from discovery and technical design through implementation, production deployment, and iteration.
- Build across the stack Work across frontend applications, APIs, backend services, and integration layers to deliver complete customer outcomes.
- Bring technical depth Contribute strong expertise in your primary discipline while developing a broader understanding of the systems and technologies around it.
- Make good technical decisions Participate in architecture discussions, evaluate tradeoffs, and shape solutions that are scalable, maintainable, and pragmatic.
- Stay close to the product Partner with Product and Design to understand customer needs and translate them into effective technical solutions.
- Drive engineering excellence Contribute to strong testing, CI/CD, observability, code quality, and technical debt practices.
- Collaborate across functions Work with Engineering, Product, Design, QA, and platform teams to break down complex problems and deliver high quality software.
- Grow the team Support other engineers through code reviews, pairing, technical discussions, and knowledge sharing.
YOUR SUPERPOWERS
- Engineering depth and breadth Four to six or more years of software engineering experience, with strong expertise in either backend or frontend engineering and practical experience across the broader stack.
- End to end ownership Experience taking features from technical design through development, deployment, and production support.
- Strong fundamentals A solid understanding of software design, APIs, application architecture, testing, and maintainable production software.
- Cloud awareness Experience with cloud environments such as AWS and familiarity with modern CI/CD and observability practices.
- Product mindset The ability to understand customer problems, navigate ambiguity, and balance technical quality with meaningful delivery.
- Collaborative communication The ability to explain technical tradeoffs and work effectively across Engineering, Product, Design, and QA.
BONUS POINTS
- Cloud and event driven systems AWS serverless technologies, asynchronous workflows, distributed systems, or event driven architecture.
- Infrastructure and delivery Infrastructure as Code using CDK, Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools, plus CI/CD or deployment experience.
- Frontend architecture Large frontend applications, component architecture, state management, design systems, accessibility, or performance.
- Backend breadth Node.js and TypeScript services or experience with Go, Python, PHP, or other backend technologies.
- Production observability Monitoring, tracing, structured logging, metrics, and production diagnosis.
OUR STACK
Our product teams work primarily with TypeScript across frontend and backend development. Frontend applications include Angular and modern web technologies. Backend and platform systems span Node.js, TypeScript, Go, PHP, Python, AWS, REST APIs, event driven architectures, relational and NoSQL databases, CI/CD, and modern observability tooling.
You do not need deep expertise in every technology we use. We are looking for engineers with depth in a primary discipline, strong software engineering fundamentals, and the ability to become effective quickly in unfamiliar systems.

About the role
Rove Next is a new premium line from Rove Concepts, a Vancouver-based modern furniture brand selling direct to consumer across Canada and the US. Rove Next launches with improved versions of best-selling pieces and needs its own marketing built from the ground up. The role involves owning how Rove Next reaches and retains customers, focusing on email and lifecycle marketing. The goal is to scale marketing through AI and systems rather than headcount, building a clean function rather than inheriting one. This is not a coordination role but requires problem-solving and proactive management.
Scope
Initially focused on Rove Next, with potential to expand across the Rove Concepts group as the brand grows.
What you'll own
— Email and lifecycle as the primary owned channel, including campaign calendar, flows, segmentation, deliverability, and list health, using Klaviyo.
— Quality control on all outgoing materials: copy, creative, link destinations, offers, regional versions, ensuring errors are caught before shipping.
— Building AI into daily work, shipping AI solutions rather than just proposing them.
— Collaborating with lifecycle and email team, designers, and external ads partner to maintain the campaign calendar.
— Translating marketing results into clear business language, explaining spend, revenue, and recommendations.
Must-haves
— Five or more years in ecommerce or DTC marketing with real ownership of email and lifecycle marketing, experience with Klaviyo or comparable ESP.
— Demonstrated ability to build AI workflows independently and solve problems proactively.
— Fluent, native-level English, both written and spoken, capable of writing premium-sounding copy.
— Strong attention to detail, able to assess assets for alignment with promises, tone, and offer accuracy.
— Comfortable receiving and giving feedback about campaign effectiveness.
Nice to have
— Experience in furniture, home, or other considered-purchase categories with long buying cycles.
— Familiarity with Shopify, GA4, and Meta Ads.
— Experience enforcing brand guidelines within a team.
What success looks like
— Growth of flow revenue as a share of total email revenue.
— Reduction of errors reaching leadership.
— AI integrated and producing measurable results within 90 days.
Compensation
$3,500 to $4,500 USD per month depending on experience, independent contractor.
How to apply
Send CV to talent@rovenext.com with two examples: one AI workflow or automation built and its impact, and one instance of catching an error before shipping. Include a short voice note introducing yourself and what you'd want to know before writing your first email. Shortlisted candidates will complete a short paid project.
Location: Espoo
Workplace: Hybrid
ROLE HIGHLIGHTS:
- Staff Product Designer
- Location: Espoo, Uusimaa, Finland
- Department: Product Management
- Reports to: Product Design Director
- Employment type: Permanent
- Workplace model: Hybrid (3 days / week in office)
- Employment is subject to applicable security screening (incl. SUPO, where required)
WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS:
This is the kind of project designers wait years for. You'll be the design lead and hands-on builder on one of the most exciting products we're working on: a largely greenfield space where AI and LLMs meet serious data intelligence and where the problems are genuinely hard, the kind nobody has solved before, because the product itself is new territory. We can't say much more here (some things we build, we keep quiet about) but if the idea of turning cutting-edge intelligence into something people can actually use makes your fingers itch, this is it. You won't inherit a design system or a roadmap but you'll shape both. And you won't do it alone: we're building a world-class design team from a small core and early hires like you set the bar for everyone who comes after. This role is for a builder, an IC who gets their energy from making things, not managing them
WHO WE ARE
ICEYE delivers space-based intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) capabilities to governments and allied nations. This includes sovereign and turnkey ISR missions leveraging ICEYE’s world-leading synthetic aperture radar (SAR) satellite technology, as well as access to data from the world’s largest SAR satellite constellation. These capabilities enable partners to detect and respond to critical changes anywhere on Earth with unprecedented speed and accuracy, day or night and in any weather, supported by ultra high-resolution imagery and high-frequency revisits.
As a trusted partner for defense, intelligence, security, and maritime domain awareness, ICEYE’s near real-time data creates a tactical advantage for mission-critical operations. Designed for dual use, the platform also serves civil protection and commercial users for natural-catastrophe intelligence, insurance, maritime monitoring including oil-spill detection, and finance, contributing to global security and community resilience.
ICEYE is headquartered in Finland and operates globally across Europe, North America, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific. We have more than 900 employees, united by a shared vision: improving life on Earth by becoming the global source of truth in Earth Observation.
YOUR DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Own design end to end for the product: from fuzzy problem to research to concept to polished, shipped UI. No handoffs, no "that's another team's job."
- Get out of the building (or into the ground station). Talk to users regularly, watch how they work and turn what you learn into design decisions everyone can get behind.
- Make the complex feel simple. Take AI, LLM and data-heavy workflows and turn them into experiences that feel obvious in hindsight.
- Prototype fast and often. Test ideas with real users and real data before we commit engineering time and kill your darlings when the evidence says so.
- Work elbow to elbow with engineers, data scientists and product. You're in the room when problems get framed, not just when screens get requested.
- Set the design foundations. As one of the first designers on this product, you'll shape the patterns, quality bar and ways of working that everyone after you builds on.
- Push the craft. Sweat the details, raise the bar on every release and give (and take) sharp design feedback.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
MUST HAVES:
- Your craft is genuinely top-tier and your portfolio proves it. Sharp UX thinking, beautiful execution, obsessive attention to detail. We'll look closely so bring work you're proud of down to the last pixel.
- You've designed for data products, ML or AI, and you have opinions about it. You know what makes these experiences tricky and you've wrestled with at least some of it in real work.
- You've shipped design work that actually changed something. Adoption went up, churn went down, customers stopped swearing at the product. You can tell us what happened after you hit publish, ideally with numbers.
- You're a bit obsessed with users. Nobody has to send you to talk to customers; you're already there, asking awkward questions and coming back with your assumptions rearranged.
- You get a kick out of messy, ambiguous problems. There's no playbook here, half the time nobody knows what the answer is yet, and that's exactly where you do your best work.
- You own your stuff. The wins, sure, but also the faceplants. You'll tell us what went sideways, what you learned and what you'd do differently, without us having to drag it out of you.
- You make things happen without being asked. No design ops, no ticket queue, no waiting for permission. You spot what's needed, rally the right people, and ship.
NICE TO HAVES:
- You've designed in a properly technical environment, elbow to elbow with engineers or scientists, on systems with real complexity under the hood.
- Satellites genuinely excite you. If you've ever fallen down a Wikipedia rabbit hole about Earth observation at 1am, we should talk.
APPLICATION PROCESS:
- Recruiter screen
- Hiring Manager Interview
- Portfolio Review
- Assignment + Panel interview
- CPO interview

Location: Hybrid - San Francisco, New York City
About Vercel:
Vercel is the agentic infrastructure company, freeing people and agents to ship what's next. For more than a decade we've helped builders move from idea to production with speed, security, and exceptional developer experience.
Now we're scaling our products for both agents and people to ship and run software, built in the open and trusted by OpenAI, PayPal, Ramp, Supreme, and millions of developers worldwide.
About the role
The next generation of software won’t just be used by people — it’ll be built and shipped by agents. Builds are where that happens, and they’re the beating heart of Vercel. Whether an idea starts in v0, in an agent, or in an engineer’s editor, every customer builds — and millions of builds flow through our systems every day.
As an engineer on the Agentic Infrastructure team, you’ll take ownership of the systems that carry that work at scale. You won’t just contribute features — you’ll be responsible for the design, reliability, and evolution of the platform itself. You’ll make decisions that shape performance, define best practices, and ensure the workflows that Vercel, our customers, and their agents depend on are fast, resilient, and secure.
This role blends product thinking with deep systems ownership. You’ll partner with teams across Vercel to build and operate the agentic infrastructure that determines how software actually ships.
We’re looking for engineers who want to own high-scale systems end-to-end, thrive on improving the developer/agent experience, and are driven to have a lasting impact on how modern software gets built and delivered.
What you’ll do
Own and evolve the infrastructure that powers Vercel’s build and deployment lifecycle — from handling webhooks to designing resilient database schemas and building scalable APIs.
Design and operate high-performance microservices that process millions of builds daily, ensuring speed, reliability, and developer delight.
Lead projects end-to-end: from identifying opportunities to defining technical direction and delivering improvements in performance, reliability, and developer experience.
Collaborate across teams to align infrastructure with company-wide goals and ensure seamless developer workflows.
Shape the long-term vision of agentic infrastructure at Vercel by setting standards for scalability, reliability, and developer productivity.
Participate in the on-call rotation, taking responsibility for the reliability of critical systems.
Contribute to the open-source community, representing Vercel’s commitment to advancing developer tools globally.
Write clean, efficient, tested, and well-documented code that others can build upon confidently.
What you need
3+ years of experience designing, building, and operating backend applications and distributed systems at scale.
Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, with the ability to navigate and improve complex systems.
Strong proficiency with cloud infrastructure (AWS) and infrastructure as code (Terraform)
A track record of end-to-end ownership — from design and implementation through to long-term operation in production.
Skilled at cross-team collaboration, able to influence priorities and drive alignment toward shared goals.
Able to reason about technical direction and architectural tradeoffs, balancing long-term vision with pragmatic delivery.
Invested in the people around you — through mentorship, code review, or simply raising the bar on how the team builds.
Curious, eager to learn, and motivated to push the boundaries of how modern software gets built and shipped.
Bonus if you
Are familiar with React or Next.js
Have experience with DynamoDB
Have worked to develop a CI/CD platform or internal developer platform used by other engineers or by agents.
Have experience contributing to or participating in open-source projects.
Have experience optimizing build systems for monorepos or polyrepo setups.
Have experience with build caching, artifact storage, or dependency management at scale.
Benefits & Compensation:
Competitive compensation package, including equity.
Inclusive Healthcare Package.
Learn and Grow - we provide mentorship and send you to events that help you build your network and skills.
Flexible Time Off.
We will provide you the gear you need to do your role, and a WFH budget for you to outfit your space as needed.
The base pay range for this role is $196,000.00 - $294,000.00. Actual salary will be based on job-related skills, experience, and location. Compensation outside of San Francisco may be adjusted based on employee location. The total compensation package may include benefits, equity-based compensation, and eligibility for a company bonus or variable pay program depending on the role. Your recruiter can share more details during the hiring process.

Hi, I'm Paul, VP of Engineering at
Customer.io
. We're looking for a staff engineer to set technical direction for the systems that move billions of messages a day. This isn't a role about shipping more, faster. It's about deciding what gets built, where the architecture needs to go next, and raising the ceiling for the engineers around you.
About
Customer.io
Over 9,000 companies — from scrappy startups to global brands — use our platform to send billions of emails, push notifications, in-app messages, and SMS every day.
Customer.io
powers automated communication that people actually want to receive.
We help teams send smarter, more relevant messages using real-time behavioral data. Under the hood: Go, React, Ember and AI help us ship fast and scale with confidence.
What We Value
Ownership at company scale
You take on the problems nobody has claimed yet — the ones that span squads, have no obvious owner, and would quietly cost us a year if left alone. You either solve them or get leadership aligned to.
Engineers with product taste
You think like a user, not just an engineer. You connect architectural decisions to what customers actually experience, and you can explain that connection to people who don't write Go.
A healthy skepticism for "the way things are done"
You retire practices that have outlived their usefulness, including ones you helped build. Best practices matter — but never more than forward motion.
Force multiplication
Your best quarter isn't measured by what you shipped. It's measured by what the department can now do that it couldn't before.
What You'll Do
Shape the technical direction of our distributed messaging systems in Go — making the high-level architectural calls on mission-critical services where scale, cost, and reliability are all in tension
Take on ambiguous, high-stakes problems that cross squad and function boundaries, and drive them to a decision when the right answer isn't obvious to anyone yet
Build consensus on contested technical questions across teams, and communicate the tradeoffs clearly enough that senior leadership can act on them
Raise the department's bar — set quality and design standards, mentor senior engineers, and turn what you know into frameworks and documentation other teams can use without you in the room
Drive engineering process and tooling improvements that span multiple squads, not just your own
Participate in an on-call rotation as required, supporting the reliability of the systems you build
Interview and calibrate against our career ladder, giving honest, evidence-based assessments of candidates
Use AI agents to make multi-file changes by scoping the work, writing the prompt, and verifying the output
What we're looking for
10+ years building scalable, distributed systems in Go (or similar statically typed languages), including several as the person others turned to on architecture
Depth across multiple systems or domains, not just one — you've been the recognized expert in more than one place
A track record of designing for production reality: you quantify tradeoffs in throughput, cost, and reliability rather than picking a reasonable path and defending it
Experience designing observability and recovery as first-class concerns — metrics, alerting, rollback, backpressure, checkpointing — not logging added afterward
Comfort working in cloud-native environments (AWS, GCP), with relational databases (we use MySQL) and a real understanding of performance tradeoffs
Evidence of making other engineers better: mentorship, technical writing, design review, standards that outlasted your involvement
A bias for action over perfection, and the judgment to know which decisions are worth slowing down for
Compensation & Benefits
We believe in transparency. Starting salary for this role is $200,000 - $240,000 USD (or equivalent in local currency) depending on experience and subject to market rate adjustment. This role also carries a 10% annual bonus target. In addition to base salary, this role includes an equity grant in the form of stock options, so you share in the success you help build.
We know our people are what make us great, and we're committed to taking great care of them. Our inclusive benefits package supports your well-being and growth, including 100% coverage of medical, dental, vision, mental health, and supplemental insurance premiums for you and your family. We also offer 16 weeks paid parental leave, unlimited PTO, stipends for remote work and wellness, a professional development budget, and more.

- Complete a short, realistic task similar to what you'd work on here.

About LaunchDarkly:
Modern software delivery was supposed to be the foundation for a thriving digital business but reality has proven otherwise. Slow, inefficient development cycles, costly outages, and fragmented customer experiences are preventing developers from building their best software. The LaunchDarkly platform helps developers innovate on new features faster while protecting them with a safety valve to instantly rewind when things go wrong. Developers can target product experiences to any customer segment and maximize the business impact of every feature. And by gradually rolling out new application components, they escape nightmare "big-bang" technology migrations.
The LaunchDarkly platform was built to guide engineers to the next frontier of DevOps by:
Improving the velocity and stability of software releases, without the fear of end customer outages
Delivering targeted experiences by easily personalizing features to customer cohorts
Maximizing the business impact of every feature through the ability to experiment and optimize
Coordinating the release and optimization of software to provide consistent experiences across mobile platforms and device types
Improving the effectiveness and productivity of engineering teams, by providing insights into engineering cadence and stability

Thousands of creators across our partner agencies post about Picsart's AI tools every week, and we're scaling that many times over. In this role, you decide what they make: the concepts, hooks, angles, scripts and briefs. You build rough examples in Picsart's own tools so creators and editors can see the idea instead of reading about it, and you run the tests that show which creative turns a viewer into someone who generates, spends credits and pays. You’ll be working across all our social platforms: TikTok, Meta, Instagram, Youtube, X, and Reddit.
You work through AI, because nobody can watch that much content by hand. You'll use it to read everything the network publishes, to draft briefs and variations for every agency and creator, and to spot winners early, then you make the call and make the example. The best agencies now publish their playbooks; your edge is running that discipline across every agency at once, with the one dataset no agency has: what happens after the click.
How success looks like for this role within a year: conversion per view rising while volume rises, and winning creative replicating across markets in days.
Please note that this is a
Full-Time Contractor (12-month contract) role.
How You'll Make an Impact
Decide what creators make.
The concepts, hooks and scripts they film each week. Agencies bring local ideas; you pick what the whole network runs.
Write briefs creators can follow.
Not documents they skim, clear direction, plus rough cuts and examples you make in Picsart's own tools, so nobody has to guess what you meant.
Test the creative.
Hook against hook, format against format, market against market. The results decide what runs next, not anyone's taste.
Get content finished.
Work directly with creators and editors to turn concepts into posts, and give feedback specific enough to act on.
Find out what converts.
Look at what thousands of videos actually did, and point the network at the audiences and use cases that bring in paying users.
Spread what wins.
When a hook works in one market, get it into every other market and language fast, and into templates users can remix themselves.
Own launch content.
Every new model and feature goes out through the creator network within days. You decide what day one looks like.
Tell product what to build.
You see what people want from AI tools before product does. Turn that into concrete asks: which presets, templates and models to build or promote next.
Keep it fresh and safe.
Stop the whole network from copying last month's winner. And when a platform changes its rules or a theme crosses a trust-and-safety line, the network hears it from you first.
What You'll Bring
A portfolio, not a résumé:
social accounts you've grown.
Your own or a client's. Send the links and tell us what the numbers did while you ran them.
Creator networks you've directed.
How many creators, what you taught them, what came out of it.
Content you made yourself.
Rough cuts, scripts, hooks, examples, not just feedback on other people's work.
Comment-to-DM and link funnels.
You've set them up, watched them break, and fixed them.
Short-form content that worked in more than one market or language.
You know which hooks travelled and which ones didn't.
Real use of AI creation tools.
You've made things with them, not just read about them.
Creative testing.
You've run hook against hook, format against format, and let the results decide.
Clear writing.
A brief a creator can follow, and a short update an executive can read.
Great communication skills in English.
Any other languages are a plus.
