Aptos is a people-first blockchain on a mission to help billions of people achieve universal and fair access to decentralized assets in a safe and scalable way.
Founded by some of the original creators and maintainers that researched, designed, and built the Diem blockchain to serve this purpose, we have dedicated several years toward this mission. We believe the open-source Diem technology we have developed is an important foundation of a safe and scalable web3 world where everyone has more equitable opportunities to grow and access financial assets with lower fees and fewer intermediaries.
Aptos (Ohlone for "The People") encompasses our mission and ethos for why we build.
About this role
Aptos is a high-performance Layer 1 designed for financial services: sub-second settlement at sub-cent cost, production reliability institutions build on, and native stablecoins including assets exclusive to the network. We are consolidating our commercial efforts into one financial services company — payments, tokenization, and trading — and payments is the first chartered business: a ring-fenced unit with its own P&L, an exclusive global settlement partnership already signed, first-party products already shipped (keyless onboarding, multisig treasury, confidential payments), and clear evidence gates at 90 days, 6 months, and 24 months.
This role is the founding technical leader of that unit. You are hire number one of the engineering team, and the build you lead defines the business.
What you'll own
The Aptos Payment API.
Spec, ship, and run the single API businesses integrate against — wrapping partner infrastructure today, with an orchestration engine routing across a licensed partner network as the business earns it. You write the spec bottoms-up from partner and client requirements.
Partner-facing engineering.
You are the technical face of the unit: requirements intake, integration leadership, and technical diligence with banks, EMIs, PSPs, stablecoin issuers, and e-wallet platforms. You can run those calls alone and write the requirements doc after.
The trust infrastructure.
Revenue attribution and reconciliation (the system that proves which volume is ours), a single-window KYC/KYB integration, a testnet sandbox that lets any prospect try the stack before compliance onboarding, and a native-asset-only settlement policy — no bridges.
Integration with the trading stack.
Our trading team builds the RFQ liquidity and tokenized-FX systems; you own the payments side of that seam — routing corridor FX through their venue, defining the API contract between the two systems, and making the handoff invisible to clients.
The team and the calls.
Hire and lead the first two engineers; grow the team only as revenue triggers fire. Make the build-vs-buy decisions (orchestration components, KYC tooling) with written memos at each gate.
Your first 90 days
Publish the Payment API v1 spec and ship the testnet sandbox.
Stand up revenue attribution v1 and harden USDT/USDC settlement rails to production grade.
Ship the first client integration hands-on, end to end.
Draft the orchestration build-vs-buy memo that frames the unit's biggest technical decision.
These are not aspirations — they are the unit's first gate, and the role's report card is the engineering column of the business's scorecard.
What we're looking for
8+ years building payment infrastructure at production scale — PSP or orchestrator-class systems: cross-border rails, on/off-ramps, virtual accounts, reconciliation.
Hands-on chain-native settlement experience: stablecoin rails, ramp integrations, wallet infrastructure. Move or Rust a plus; strong engineering judgment on any stack a must.
Front-facing gravitas: banks, issuers, and regulated partners treat you as a peer. You've led external technical relationships, not just internal roadmaps.
A product engineer's instincts: you build bottoms-up from what clients and partners actually need, and you treat existing internal products as assets to resell — not constraints to build around.
Player-coach by default: you ship code, then hire people better than you at parts of it.
Nice to have
APAC corridor experience — e-wallet ecosystems, QR rails, regional licensing landscapes.
Enough FX and market-structure fluency to be a strong counterpart to the trading team on the RFQ integration.
Working familiarity with payments regulation (money transmission, MiCA, Singapore PS Act) — enough to design with counsel, not practice law.
A prior 0→1: founding engineer, first technical hire, or owner of a product line from blank page to revenue.
Why this role is unusual
Distribution is solved before you start.
An exclusive settlement partnership routes committed volume to the network — you build against real flow, not hoped-for flow.
The business is chartered.
Written gates, a stop condition, and growth triggers tied to revenue — you'll always know exactly where the business stands and what your work must prove next.
The scope compounds.
What starts as one API becomes an orchestration network and a tokenized-currency framework, integrated with a trading venue's liquidity — the technical agenda grows with every gate the business clears.
You define the org.
Every engineering hire after you is your call, made against revenue evidence.

ABOUT SUPABASE
Supabase is the Postgres development platform, built by developers for developers. We provide a complete backend solution including Database, Auth, Storage, Edge Functions, Realtime, and Vector Search. All services are deeply integrated and designed for growth.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are hiring a AI Platform Engineer to build the execution layer for Supabase's internal AI systems.
Supabase is building an AI-native internal operating system: a common way of working across the company where AI carries a meaningful share of the operational load rather than sitting alongside it as an assistant. We are standing up a new central team to build those systems, enable the teams, and embed AI operations throughout the organization. You are the engineer on that team.
The execution layer is yours. You will build the platform that actually runs agents: an event-triggered queue, a headless model-agnostic runtime, durable state so work survives a restart, a human review gate, atomic rollback, and full logging of every prompt, tool call and decision so any run can be reconstructed. You will build the evaluation layer that makes any of it trustworthy, because an agent that cannot be measured cannot be trusted with anything beyond reading. And you will build the agents themselves, across everything from executive reporting down to a layer of agents that watch the platform and improve it.
This is a governance-heavy environment by design, and that is the interesting part of the problem. Agents are risk-tiered from read-only internal data through to external-facing output, with review depth, evaluation requirements and human approval scaling by tier. Some capabilities are permanently off limits: an agent may read and report, it may carry a human-authored update into a system of record once a human consents, and it may initiate contact within a strict budget, but it may never autonomously write a commitment (an owner, a due date, a status) into a shared work system. Your job is to make that structurally impossible rather than merely forbidden.
You will be the only engineer on this platform. You will close open architecture decisions yourself, own the infrastructure end to end, and instrument the system so it reports its own return.
WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
In this role, you'll:
- Ship the agent platform to production. An event-triggered queue, a headless model-agnostic runtime (choosing the runtime is an open decision you will close), durable state that survives a failed run, a human review gate, atomic rollback, and complete run logging in the warehouse.
- Own the evaluation layer, and switch on the gate that depends on it. Golden suites with behavioral assertions rather than intuition, judge criteria with a written rubric, safety cases that must pass on every run, and a CI gate that blocks a regression from merging. This is the precondition for every agent that does anything beyond read internal data.
- Build and register the agent portfolio. Reporting, drafting, linting, triage and question-answering agents across the executive, team-lead and individual-contributor layers, plus a meta layer that observes the platform and improves it.
- Enforce governance in code. Risk tiers the pipeline actually enforces, least-privilege credentials per agent, tool-permission gates, a decision audit log, and autonomy classes where the dangerous class has no code path rather than a warning label. Nothing runs without a registered owner, tier, tool grant and human gate.
- Design how the system contacts people. A hard interruption budget per person, message bundling instead of a stream of pings, and a structure that gives something useful before it asks for anything. Adoption depends on this more than on any other single design choice.
- Own the platform tooling. The compiler and validator, inventory integrity, and the paths that distribute context and capabilities into the repositories and chat surfaces where work happens.
- Compute the operating measures from production data. A pipeline from raw system activity through to a computed maturity grade per team, defensible enough that a team can dispute the result and be answered with the query rather than an opinion.
- Instrument the platform's own return. A ledger that logs the work each agent absorbs and computes the monthly figure, so the value of the system is a measurement rather than a claim.
HOW YOU'LL THINK
RECURSIVE THINKING
You build the generator, not the artifact. When you need thirty agents, you do not write thirty agents; you build the inventory, the compiler and the distribution path that makes the thirty-first cost an afternoon, then a meta layer whose job is to watch the platform, find its drift and file the fix.
The evaluation layer is the same move applied to trust. You are not checking whether one agent is correct today. You are building the machine that decides whether every future agent is allowed to ship, which means the suite has to be right in a way the agent does not, and the thing that grades has to be graded too.
INVERSION THINKING
You start from the failure and work backward to the design. The rule is that an agent may never autonomously write a commitment into a shared work system. The weak implementation is an instruction in a prompt. The strong one is that the credential in the agent's tool grant physically cannot set an owner, a due date or a status, so no amount of clever input, prompt injection or model error produces the forbidden write. You reach for the second one first.
Same for evaluation. Before writing a suite you enumerate how the agent can be wrong: an update that invents progress that did not happen, one that quotes a private channel into a public digest, one that is accurate and reads as an accusation, one that credits the wrong person. Then the suite is that list, each case caught before the agent ships rather than after it embarrasses someone.
AI-NATIVE EXECUTION
You use agentic tools on real work, in files and repositories, with the same rigor you apply to anything else you ship. You have a setup of your own and can describe it mechanically: what triggers it, what it is allowed to touch, where the human approves, what it logs, and how you found out the one time it went wrong.
That experience is this job, generalized. You are building for async engineers across 40+ countries who will judge the platform by whether it saves them an hour or costs them one, so you are your own first user and your own harshest reviewer.
YOU MIGHT BE A GOOD FIT IF YOU
MUST HAVE
- Have shipped production LLM agent systems that other people depended on. Not demos, not internal showcases. Systems with operational history, real users and at least one incident you can talk through. Prompt engineering on its own does not clear this bar.
- Design evaluations, not spot checks. You build golden sets, write behavioral assertions, define judge rubrics, set pass thresholds and gate CI on the result. You can explain why "we reviewed a bunch of outputs and they looked good" is not evaluation.
- Have done deep API work against the systems work actually lives in, and have authored MCP servers. You know the specific failure modes of those APIs, not just that they exist.
- Own infrastructure end to end in Python on GCP, with a cloud warehouse and infrastructure as code. You provision, deploy, monitor and roll back your own systems, and you close architecture decisions rather than routing them onward.
- Have taste about how software contacts humans. You treat every notification as spending a limited amount of trust.
STRONG SIGNAL
- Public work in this space. An open-source agent framework, an MCP server, an evaluation harness, or writing on agent reliability that other practitioners cite.
- LLM observability and cost instrumentation. Tracing agent runs, attributing spend per run, and building the queries that turn raw logs into a report someone acts on.
- You have built an internal platform that non-engineers adopted voluntarily, and can describe what you changed after watching them use it.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
- The platform is boring. Agents run on a schedule and on events, state survives restarts, failed runs roll back cleanly, and every run can be reconstructed from its log.
- Nothing ships unevaluated. Every registered agent has a real suite with safety cases, the gate blocks regressions, and when someone challenges an output the answer is a test case rather than an argument.
- The dangerous action is impossible, not discouraged. An audit of any agent's credentials shows it cannot perform the writes it is not allowed to perform, and the audit log makes every consequential decision traceable.
- Teams pull the platform instead of being pushed. Agents get adopted because the reports are useful and the contact is rare and well-timed, and each team ends up with at least one workflow that runs automatically.
- The platform reports its own value. The work absorbed is measured and published, so the case for expanding it is made with data rather than enthusiasm.
WHAT WE OFFER
- Fully Remote
We hire globally. We believe you can do your best work from anywhere. There are no Supabase offices, but we provide a WeWork membership or co-working allowance you can use anywhere in the world.
- ESOP
Every team member receives ESOP (equity ownership) in the company. We want everyone to share in the upside of what we’re building together.

Canonical is a leading provider of open source software and operating systems to the global enterprise and technology markets. Our platform, Ubuntu, is very widely used in breakthrough enterprise initiatives such as public cloud, data science, AI, engineering innovation and IoT. Our customers include the world's leading public cloud and silicon providers, and industry leaders in many sectors. The company is a pioneer of global distributed collaboration, with 1200+ colleagues in 75+ countries and very few office based roles. Teams meet two to four times yearly in person, in interesting locations around the world, to align on strategy and execution.
The company is founder led, profitable and growing.
Canonical builds the open-source software that runs the world’s clouds, devices and AI, and we hold our managers to a high standard. Our Talent Development team exists to make leaders and managers at Canonical genuinely excellent. We define what great management looks like here, and we bring managers and leaders up to that standard through direct, hands-on work, both from the centre and embedded inside engineering and commercial organisations.
As a Senior Organisational Development Practitioner you are the person who sets the bar for how coaching and organisational development is practised here. You coach leaders to a clear standard of management excellence. You diagnose how a whole organisation is led and drive the plan to raise it. You develop the practitioners working in the field. It is one of the most senior and demanding Talent roles at Canonical: hands-on coaching and organisational-development craft with real leaders, in a company that expects you to be credible in a room of directors and to earn that credibility fast.
You work both from the central team and embedded inside a leader's organisation for periods, turning what you learn in the field back into how we develop leaders and managers across Canonical.
Location: These are remote based positions, available across EMEA and the Americas.
What you deliver
Raising individual leaders
Coaching leaders to visibly raise their game against a clear standard of management excellence.
Landing the hard conversations, because you coach leaders to make them happen.
Turning 360 feedback into real, followed-through commitments, not a report that gets filed.
Lifting organisations and the company
Leaving an organisation you take on visibly better led, off a sharp first-weeks diagnosis and a plan you own and drive.
Contributing to defining and implementing new ways of working across our globally distributed company.
Building the function and its standards
Developing the practitioners in the field so they get visibly better at their craft under your supervision.
Setting the bar for how coaching and organisational development is done at Canonical: owning what exceptional looks like, proving the methods in the field, and holding the practice to them.
Sharpening the management-excellence standard itself across Canonical, by feeding back what you learn in the field.
What we are looking for in you
Deep, hands-on coaching and organisational-development practice with real leaders and teams, not just programme design.
A track record of measurably changing how leaders behave, with specific examples you can talk through.
Credibility: you can walk into a room of directors and be taken seriously.
Effectiveness operating inside someone else's organisation without formal authority.
A clear and honest philosophy of development: you know where coaching helps, and you are candid about where a role or fit decision is the right call.
An exceptional academic track record from high school and university.
Excellent written and spoken English.
Sincere personal motivation aligned with our mission.
Willingness to travel up to 4 times a year for internal events.
In addition we expect that you will match our values, by being:
Precise, taking care to deliver correctness and clarity.
Reliable, delivering high quality work that builds trust and confidence.
Accessible, collaborating to build products and systems that are usable.
Adroit, blending enthusiasm, knowledge, adaptability, style and character.
Nice-to-have skills
A management-consulting background: comfortable with ambiguity, able to diagnose, propose and move.
Experience coaching across a distributed, fast-moving, technical organisation.
Experience building competency or development frameworks.
Experience designing and running effective workshops or training sessions, in person and online.
Learning-design judgment for development materials. We want the design sense; AI handles the production drafting.
Talent-development experience, valued alongside but secondary to coaching and consulting craft.
What we offer colleagues
We consider geographical location, experience, and performance in shaping compensation worldwide. We revisit compensation annually (and more often for graduates and associates) to ensure we recognise outstanding performance. In addition to base pay, we offer a performance-driven annual bonus. We provide all team members with additional benefits, which reflect our values and ideals. We balance our programs to meet local needs and ensure fairness globally.
Distributed work environment with twice-yearly team sprints in person
Personal learning and development budget of USD 2,000 per year
Annual compensation review
Recognition rewards
Annual holiday leave
Maternity and paternity leave
Employee Assistance Programme
Opportunity to travel to new locations to meet colleagues
Priority Pass, and travel upgrades for long haul company events

About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the Role
We are seeking a Director, Technical Accounting – M&A to join our Finance team at Anthropic. In this role, you will support the company's accounting for mergers, acquisitions, strategic investments, and other complex capital transactions. You will report to the Senior Director, Technical Accounting – M&A
As Anthropic continues to scale rapidly and deploy capital into acquisitions, strategic investments, joint ventures, and novel commercial structures, you will be a key technical resource on structuring alternatives, consolidation outcomes, and financial statement impact. You will partner closely with Corporate Development, Legal, Tax, Treasury, FP&A, and leadership to ensure that deal economics are accurately reflected under US GAAP and that positions are defensible to external auditors, valuation specialists, and future regulators.
This is a builder role: you'll help operate and continuously sharpen the controls, valuation governance, and close-ready documentation expected of a large accelerated filer, working alongside the Senior Director as the function takes shape. If you thrive on being in the room when deals are shaped — and then making the accounting land cleanly — we want to hear from you.
In this role, you will:
Execute technical accounting for business combinations, asset acquisitions, joint ventures, and related financing/equity structures
Partner with and influence Corporate Dev to steer deal structures toward preferred terms and outcomes
Perform accounting due diligence on prospective transactions, advising Corporate Development and leadership on GAAP, control, and earnings implications before terms are finalized
Execute end-to-end purchase accounting — acquirer and acquisition-date identification, consideration measurement (contingent consideration, rollover equity, replacement awards), and recognition/measurement of assets, liabilities, and goodwill
Execute post-close integration accounting — conforming accounting policies, system/ledger onboarding, working capital true-ups, earn-out remeasurement, and push-down considerations
Assess and monitor consolidation and investment classification for investees and structured arrangements — VIE/primary-beneficiary analysis, reconsideration events, equity method, measurement alternative, and fair value through earnings — and support impairment and observable-price-change reviews
Manage third-party valuation specialists; review PPA, intangible asset valuations, contingent consideration fair values, and impairment analyses
Author and defend technical accounting policies & memoranda; partner closely with external auditors on M&A, investment, and consolidation matters
Partner with Tax on deal structuring and ASC 740/basis-difference impacts; with Treasury and Legal on equity, SAFE/convertible, and other financing instruments
Help refine the deal-accounting operating model — diligence checklists, Day-1 close playbooks, opening balance sheet procedures, measurement-period tracking, integration workplans, and SOX-ready controls over non-routine transactions
Prepare and review transaction-related disclosures for quarterly and annual filings, including pro forma financial information and significance testing
Present transaction accounting conclusions and financial statement impacts to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders in clear, decision-ready terms
Monitor standard-setting and SEC developments affecting business combinations, consolidation, and investments; support adoption and cross-functional education
You may be a good fit if you:
Have 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 4+ years owning complex M&A and strategic investment accounting transactions end-to-end
Hold an active CPA license
Bring significant Big 4 experience — ideally in a National Office, Transaction/Deal Advisory, or Capital Markets/Accounting Advisory group — paired with in-house experience at a high-growth or public technology company
Have contributed to multiple closed acquisitions and minority/strategic investments, including at least one transaction of meaningful scale or complexity
Possess deep command of US GAAP for business combinations, consolidation, equity method, and fair value measurement, with a track record of positions that withstand auditor and regulator scrutiny
Are fluent in valuation concepts and can direct and challenge third-party specialists on PPA, contingent consideration, and impairment models
Have operated within a deal-accounting or investments-accounting function, contributing to playbook and controls design
Communicate effectively with Corporate Development and Legal on structuring trade-offs, translating technical conclusions for cross-functional and senior stakeholders
Demonstrate exceptional written and verbal communication, translating complex deal accounting into clear business implications
Excel at hands-on technical execution in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment, partnering closely with the Senior Director on strategic judgment calls
Are proficient with accounting systems (Workday preferred), consolidation tools, and advanced Excel/modeling
Curious about and quick to adopt new AI tools, including Claude and Claude for Finance
Strong candidates may also:
Have deep, practitioner-level expertise in one or more of the following:
Business combinations and asset acquisitions (ASC 805), including contingent consideration, replacement share-based awards, and step acquisitions
Consolidation and investment classification (ASC 810, 323, 321), including VIE/primary-beneficiary analysis, basis differences, and the measurement alternative
Fair value measurement, acquired financial instruments, and goodwill/intangibles (ASC 820, 815, 825, 350, 360), including impairment testing and IPR&D
Have led accounting for carve-outs, divestitures, spin-offs, or legal-entity rationalizations, including standing up SOX-compliant controls over non-routine/complex transactions
Have prepared or reviewed pro forma financial information and registration-statement disclosures (Article 11 of Regulation S-X, S-X Rule 3-05/1-02(w) significance testing, S-1 processes)
Have experience with novel AI/technology deal structures — acqui-hires, IP/license-heavy transactions, data and compute arrangements, revenue-share partnerships, and strategic investor rights — and are passionate about leveraging AI to accelerate diligence, memo drafting, and close

How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

Perplexity is an AI-powered answer engine founded in December 2022 and growing rapidly as one of the world's leading AI platforms. Perplexity has raised over $1B in venture investment from some of the world's most visionary and successful leaders, including Elad Gil, Daniel Gross, Jeff Bezos, Accel, IVP, NEA, NVIDIA, Samsung, and many more. Our objective is to build accurate, trustworthy AI that powers decision-making for people and assistive AI wherever decisions are being made.
Throughout human history, change and innovation have always been driven by curious people. Today, curious people use Perplexity to answer more than 780 million queries every month—a number that's growing rapidly for one simple reason: everyone can be curious.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Perplexity is building the AI platform for professional legal work: Perplexity Computer, our agentic platform that navigates tools, completes multi-step workflows, and connects to the case law, statutes, filings, contracts, and internal documents that legal professionals already rely on, and our API Platform, which powers search, retrieval, and automation across structured and unstructured legal data.
At the center of this is our Applied AI / Forward Deployed motion: we work closely with law firms and in-house legal teams to distill their core legal processes and embed them into bespoke solutions built on our platform. That means sitting with partners, associates, and counsel to understand how they research, review, draft, and advise, then translating those workflows into custom skills, agents, and connector configurations that run inside their daily process—and feeding what we learn back into the product so it compounds across customers.
As an AI Strategist on our Applied AI team focused on the legal vertical, you are the subject matter expert who makes this real for legal professionals. This is a commercial and sales engineering role: you will own strategic customer engagements end to end—leading discovery, defining what to build, demonstrating frontier capabilities against real legal workflows, and driving deployments from first conversation through production and expansion. You are part customer owner, part product strategist, part sales engineer—fluent in both the language of the practice group and the language of the platform.
RESPONSIBILITIES
OWN STRATEGIC LEGAL ENGAGEMENTS
- Lead discovery with law firms and in-house legal departments: what matters to the practice, what problems they are solving, and which workflows are worth automating
- Define scope—what is the right thing to build—and own success metrics, pilot design, and commercial structure
- Drive deployment and rollout across practice groups and legal departments, with real revenue responsibility alongside Sales
BE THE DEMO AND TECHNICAL PROOF ENGINE
- Build and deliver compelling, workflow-specific demonstrations: legal research, contract review and analysis, due diligence, drafting, deposition and discovery summarization, regulatory monitoring
- Prototype workflows, skills, and connector configurations hands-on in Perplexity Computer and the API Platform to prove value in the customer's own use cases
- Run pilots and evaluations that hold up to scrutiny from skeptical partners and general counsel
BRING DOMAIN JUDGMENT TO THE PRODUCT
- Translate how practice groups, legal departments, and legal ops teams actually work into product, connector, and data-partnership priorities
- Assess whether we have the right research, contract, docket, and document-management integrations to serve each legal segment—and drive the roadmap where we do not
- Codify repeatable engagement patterns: discovery templates, practice-specific reference workflows, demo libraries, and deployment playbooks
OPERATE AS THE COMMERCIAL LEAD
- Own senior relationships with partners, general counsel, and legal-innovation leaders; move engagements through qualification, scoping, proposal, pricing, legal, and close
- Create urgency, write crisp follow-ups, and know when to push and when to wait
QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of direct experience practicing law at a leading firm or in-house—litigation, transactional, or regulatory—or in legal ops / legal innovation with deep workflow exposure; you have run diligence, drafted and negotiated agreements, and lived the workflows you will now automate
- 5+ years of total experience spanning legal and some combination of technical GTM, sales engineering, solutions architecture, AI product strategy, or applied AI with customer exposure
- Deep fluency in legal workflows: research, contract review, diligence, drafting, discovery, regulatory analysis, and matter management
- Strong intuition for AI products, agents, and workflows, with the ability to understand technical systems without needing every detail pre-digested
- Demonstrated ability to turn ambiguous customer problems into scoped, executable deployment plans with clear success metrics
- Strong commercial instincts and comfort operating with partners, general counsel, CIOs, and heads of innovation
- Excellent written and verbal communication; able to write proposals, customer memos, technical scopes, and launch narratives
- High agency and low ego, with the ability to run multiple complex customer workstreams in parallel and make progress before the playbook exists
NICE-TO-HAVES
- JD and bar admission
- Hands-on experience building with agentic systems, tool-use workflows, MCP, or LLM APIs
- Working knowledge of legal technology platforms: Westlaw, LexisNexis, iManage, NetDocuments, Relativity, Ironclad, or similar
- Experience selling or deploying technology into law firms or regulated enterprises, including outside-counsel guidelines, privilege, and security review
- Founder or early-startup operating experience
- Strong network across AmLaw 100 firms and Fortune 500 legal departments
If you're excited about this role, we encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't match every qualification listed above.
