About Aleph
Aleph is a global leader accelerating digital advertising, and fintech solutions across more than 130 high-growth markets. With more than 20 years of experience and strategic partnerships with over 50 of the world's leading digital platforms, Aleph connects media, payments, and local market expertise to enable platforms and businesses to grow and operate globally with speed and compliance. With teams in more than 90 offices worldwide, Aleph combines global scale with deep local execution. Beyond business impact, Aleph drives digital inclusion through its education initiative, Digital Ad Expert, member of UNESCO’s Global Skills Academy.
What You Will Do
1. Deal Structuring & Commercial Strategy
Commercial model execution:
Structure and negotiate merchant agreements using Aleph’s standard CSS commercial framework.
Tailored deal packages:
Design custom commercial incentive structures (for example volume-based tiers, cross-platform spend commitments, and bundled trial periods) for tier-1 enterprise merchants and large digital agencies.
Value proposition positioning:
Clearly explain the CSS financial advantage, showing how merchants achieve 8% bottom-line spend savings or +20% auction bidding power compared with Google’s default 20% margin.
2. Merchant Acquisition & Pipeline Growth
Portfolio monetization:
Identify, prioritize, and pitch top-tier e-commerce accounts in Aleph’s current regional client base that spend on Google Shopping Ads outside of Aleph.
Agency and reseller partnerships:
Build strategic relationships with performance marketing agencies, feed management partners, and media buyers across the 21 European CSS markets.
Sales pipeline ownership:
Lead full-cycle sales for strategic, high-value accounts, from first pitch to signed contract.
3. Sales Enablement & Regional Activation
Go-to-market collateral:
Partner with Product Marketing to localize commercial decks, pitch templates, ROI calculators, and contract templates across European regions.
Local team enablement:
Train local country teams to position CSS alongside our existing portfolio.
4. Contracting & Governance
Contract management:
Oversee contract drafting, legal reviews, billing terms, and sign-offs in coordination with Aleph Legal and Finance.
Billing alignment:
Make sure client billing configurations fit smoothly into existing Aleph payment flows and credit terms.
What We Are Looking For
Experience:
3+ years in commercial roles, tech sales leadership, platform partnership management, or agency business development within digital advertising or e-commerce ecosystems.
Industry knowledge:
Deep understanding of digital performance advertising, media agency commercial models, pay-per-click (PPC) pricing structures, and e-commerce growth metrics.
Dealmaking track record:
Proven background in structuring multi-market contracts, negotiating complex service fees, and closing enterprise clients.
Organizational fit:
A commercial leader with deep connections in European e-commerce advertising.
Communication and mobility:
Native or fluent business English (additional European languages are an advantage; Czech or Slovak is a plus for Prague-based collaboration). Comfortable working with stakeholders across remote CEE/EEA teams.
How We Measure Success (KPIs)
Merchant adoption rate:
Total count, and Gross Merchandise Value / ad spend, of merchants onboarded onto the Aleph CSS platform.
Net revenue target:
Total net service-fee margin generated (retaining 10% on managed CSS spend).
Portfolio migration rate:
Percentage of existing eligible Aleph e-commerce clients successfully converted to Aleph CSS.
Sales velocity:
Average time to move a merchant from initial CSS pitch to signed contract.
Why Join Aleph
Real commercial impact:
You will own the go-to-market for a new revenue line launching across 21 European markets, with a direct line from your deals to measurable merchant savings.
Room to grow:
This is a high-visibility launch role, giving you ownership of strategy, pipeline, and partnerships rather than a narrow slice of the work.
Collaborative team culture:
You will work closely with Product Marketing, Legal, Finance, and local country teams, so you are never building alone.
An inclusive environment:
We welcome applicants of every background, and your experience and skills are what count.
A market with momentum:
Czech e-shops turned over more than CZK 200 billion in 2025, up 6% year on year, and independent CSS partners are now a recognized route into the Google Shopping auction across the EEA.

An overview of this role
As a Software Engineer on GitLab's Authorization team, you'll help build and maintain the system that decides what every user, token, and automated agent can access on GitLab.com, Self-Managed, and Dedicated. You'll work alongside experienced engineers who guide the larger design decisions, delivering well-scoped changes and growing into ownership of larger parts of the system.
Today, that work is Ruby on Rails. Roughly 400 policy classes and a catalog of about 1,900 permissions sit behind every application programming interface (API) request. You'll work on fine-grained token permissions, custom roles, and the GraphQL and representational state transfer (REST) APIs that enforce them. A single request can trigger hundreds of permission checks, so correctness and performance both matter.
You'll also contribute to moving the permission model to a new authorization stack that pairs the Rails monolith with a Rust policy engine. The engine represents access relationships and evaluates permission rules, and can run within the monolith's process or be reached through remote procedure calls using gRPC. You don't need prior Rust experience: several engineers on the team learned it for this work, and we'll support you doing the same.
Some examples of our projects:
Refactoring GitLab's policy layer so the same permission definitions can be evaluated by the monolith and the new authorization service
Extending fine-grained token permissions to more resources, with guidance from senior engineers on the design
What you'll do
Implement authorization changes in GitLab's Ruby on Rails monolith so permission checks allow intended access and deny unauthorized access.
Deliver well-scoped workstreams from feature-flagged rollout through verifying that the old and new systems produce the same results, with review and guidance from senior engineers.
Build and extend fine-grained permissions for tokens and roles so additional resources have permission coverage consistent with the established catalog.
Extend and fix authorization enforcement so GraphQL and the REST API enforce the intended permissions consistently.
Make incremental refactors to long-lived policy code without changing behavior for existing customers.
Investigate and fix reliability, performance, and security issues so affected permission checks return the expected results without regressions.
Work with the authentication, platform, and artificial intelligence (AI) teams to document interface contracts that keep permission checks consistent as authorization moves toward a shared service.
Contribute to design documents, merge requests, and code reviews so proposed changes have a documented rationale and review feedback is addressed asynchronously.
What you'll bring
Solid experience building and maintaining production Ruby on Rails applications, typically gained over 2 to 4 years or more.
Hands-on experience with authorization concepts, such as role-based access control or fine-grained permissions, from work or projects.
A security mindset: you treat a permission bug as a security bug and consider who a change could affect before choosing an implementation.
Experience making careful changes to existing codebases, including incremental refactors and feature-flagged rollouts that preserve existing behavior.
Familiarity with GraphQL or API authorization patterns.
Awareness of performance, including how repeated permission checks can add up on every request.
Strong written communication and the ability to work effectively when most decisions happen in a document or merge request rather than a meeting.
Helpful, but not required: hands-on PostgreSQL experience, or experience with Rust, gRPC or Protocol Buffers, Cedar or other policy languages, Zanzibar-style authorization systems, Go, or service-oriented architecture.
We welcome transferable experience from adjacent domains such as identity, policy engines, and platform security.
About the team
We work in a fully asynchronous organization, with most decisions made in documents or merge requests rather than meetings.

Analytics Engineer, Regulatory Reporting
Finom is growing, and so is the set of reports we submit to regulators and external parties. As our Analytics Engineer for Regulatory Reporting, you'll be the embedded data partner for the Regulatory Reporting team. You'll run and develop the reports, build the data behind them and set the quality standards that make regulatory data run like clockwork.
You'll be the engineer behind regulatory reporting and own its whole technical side, so the Business Analyst and Report Owners can focus on requirements and the regulatory content. You'll sit in the Central Data team and work with the Regulatory Reporting function every day. We treat regulatory reporting as a product: a reliable internal service, not just a compliance obligation. This role helps build it that way.
What You Will Be Doing
- Own the full engineering scope of regulatory reporting. That includes pipelines, data models, formats, quality checks and releases, and coordinating with the engineering, data platform and product teams whose data and systems feed the reports
- Run recurring monthly and quarterly regulatory reports and data extractions, and keep them accurate and on time
- Update existing reports and build new ones as requirements change. Many of them are being built at Finom for the first time, so iteration is part of the work
- Build the data behind the reports: pipelines, governed datasets and semantic models on our lakehouse
- Generate external formats, including XML, and support submissions
- Set up business checks, data quality standards and alerting, so issues are caught before a report goes out
- Work with the Business Analyst and Report Owners on reusable requirement templates, data standards and data contracts with engineering
- Bring datasets to self-service level, so the reporting team gets answers without waiting on data
How We Work
You decide how to structure semantic models, standards, quality checks and pipelines. Report content is signed off together with the Business Analyst and Report Owners. Priorities are set by final business impact. You'll work on a modern stack, including Databricks and n8n, with the freedom to trial AI tools, vendors and open-source solutions.
Who You Are
- You have 3+ years of hands-on technical experience in data, in engineering, analytics engineering or technical analytics
- You write strong, expert-level SQL
- You write working Python, including generating files in different formats such as XML
- You've worked with data pipelines and a data warehouse or lakehouse
- You can take technical requirements, turn them into working reports and adjust existing ones
- You're comfortable being the technical point of contact across teams and driving work that depends on others
- You choose precision over speed when the two conflict
- You want to own the data behind a process, not just close tickets
- You're an engineer moving into analytics, or an analyst with solid engineering skills. Both work for us
Nice to Have
- Regulatory or external reporting experience
- Experience with XML schemas, report exports or integrations with external recipients
- dbt, Databricks or Spark
- Background in fintech, banking, insurance, investments, trading or government projects
Your First Year
- First 3 months: you're onboarded on the Data team's tools and workflows and have delivered the immediate priorities
- First 6 months: you can support every recurring regulatory report on your own
- First 12 months: you own a set of reports end to end and work directly with a group of stakeholders
- Beyond: you curate releases with full data governance, and the regulatory dataset works at self-service level
The Team
You'll join a small central data team that works with every function at Finom. We use a modern stack, you're free to try new tools, and AI assistants take on routine work so people can focus on harder problems. We work in English, think long term and build data that functions keep developing after we deliver it.
- Onboarding staff for various company departments. - Handling the entire hiring process: drafting employment contracts and ensuring compliance with Cypriot labor laws.
