About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role
As the Sales Manager for Life Sciences at Anthropic, you’ll lead the foundational team introducing our frontier AI platform to the life sciences ecosystem, spanning biotech, pharma, and medtech. You’ll build and develop a team of Strategic Account Executives who drive adoption of safe, frontier AI by securing strategic deals with pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device companies. You’ll bring deep domain fluency across the segment to coach your team’s consultative sales approach, while becoming a trusted advisor yourself to senior life sciences stakeholders, helping them embed and deploy AI across the product lifecycle from discovery through commercialization. In collaboration with Product and Marketing, you’ll continuously refine the team’s value proposition, sales methodology, and market positioning to resonate with decision-makers across each sub-segment.
The ideal candidate has a passion for developing new market segments within life sciences, pinpointing high-potential opportunities across R&D, clinical, regulatory, manufacturing, and commercial functions, and building a team that can execute strategies to capture them. By driving deployment of Anthropic’s emerging products across biotech, pharma, and medtech organizations, you’ll help life sciences enterprises accelerate the path from science to patients while advancing the ethical development of AI.
Key responsibilities
Build and lead a specialized team of Strategic Account Executives covering biotech, pharma, and medtech accounts, setting growth targets by sub-segment and coaching reps through the full sales cycle from outbound to close
Design and oversee sales strategies tailored to each sub-segment’s distinct procurement cycles - R&D and commercial budgeting in pharma and biotech, product development and quality budgets in medtech, and enterprise IT and digital transformation programs across all three - translating market and trend analysis into account plans and campaigns that meet and exceed team revenue targets
Identify and prioritize high-potential opportunities across drug discovery, clinical development, regulatory affairs, medical affairs, manufacturing and quality (GxP), pharmacovigilance, and commercial functions, partnering cross-functionally to differentiate Anthropic’s offering for life sciences use cases
Run a disciplined pipeline and forecasting cadence across the team, managing an evolving sales process to deliver predictable, coachable performance against quota
Serve as Anthropic’s domain expert across the life sciences value chain - including discovery research, clinical trial operations, regulatory submissions, device development and post-market surveillance, and commercial launch - and translate that expertise into repeatable playbooks, frameworks, and go-to-market strategies your team and the broader field organization can scale
Partner directly with C-suite executives (CEOs, CIOs, CDOs, CSOs, Heads of R&D, CCOs) across biotech, pharma, and medtech organizations to design multi-year AI transformation roadmaps and build long-term trusted advisor relationships
Partner closely with Product and Applied AI to translate feedback from scientists, clinical operations teams, regulatory and quality leaders, and commercial teams into product and roadmap input, strengthening Anthropic’s value proposition across the segment
Build strategic relationships with life sciences-focused system integrators, technology vendors, CROs, and industry organizations to scale go-to-market capabilities
Establish Anthropic’s position as the AI partner of choice across life sciences through conference presentations, white papers, case studies, and participation in industry forums
Codify learnings into playbooks, templates, and best practices, partnering with Marketing and Enablement to scale winning use cases and proof points across biotech, pharma, and medtech accounts
Minimum qualifications
10+ years of experience in life sciences, with at least 5 years specifically selling into or working within biotech, pharma, or medtech organizations (R&D, clinical, regulatory, manufacturing, or commercial functions, or related consulting)
Experience in leadership roles managing or coaching enterprise sales teams, with a track record of driving measurable revenue outcomes in life sciences settings
Deep understanding of business models, operations, and economics across at least one of biotech, pharma, or medtech - including the regulatory environment (FDA, EMA, GxP, 21 CFR Part 11) and competitive dynamics
A track record of managing or overseeing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles within life sciences organizations, securing strategic deals by understanding both technical requirements and scientific, regulatory, and commercial use cases
Proven experience exceeding revenue targets by effectively managing a team’s pipeline and an evolving sales process
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present confidently across life sciences audiences - from scientists and clinical leaders to C-suite executives
A genuine interest in deploying AI responsibly and motivation to advance Anthropic’s mission of building safe, beneficial AI
Preferred qualifications
Deep understanding of buying cycles, decision-making processes, and key pain points across two or more of biotech, pharma, and medtech organizations
A strategic, analytical approach to assessing the life sciences market, paired with creative, tactical execution to capture opportunities and a willingness to roll up sleeves on deals alongside the team
Experience developing and refining AI use cases in collaboration with customers and channel partners, spanning drug discovery, clinical development, regulatory and quality, manufacturing, or commercial functions
Experience building or scaling a specialized sales team from an early stage
Passion for and/or experience with advanced AI systems and their applications in life sciences, with strong conviction around safe, ethical development of AI in these contexts

How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.

About the role:
We are hiring our first Tokyo-based Product Support Specialists, who will grow our global presence as a team and serve as champions of our unique support brand. You’ll be at the front lines of safely delivering AI to the world by responding to, investigating, and tracking user needs in your day to day. Additionally, you’ll help us identify – and close – gaps in our team’s technical knowledge, provide high-touch support to strategic customers, and demonstrate deep care for how we systematically support customers at scale.
This role requires native-level Japanese and business-level English proficiency, as candidates will support both Japanese-speaking customers and those across APAC/ANZ in English.
Note: Specialists in Tokyo will work 10am - 6pm, Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities:
Become an expert in all Anthropic products
Respond to user support cases, in English and Japanese, with a variety of complexity, from simple billing or account questions for individuals to complex API debugging for large businesses
Clearly and empathetically communicate with a wide range of user personas, context-switching between guiding executives in a high-touch model to assisting consumer users in a rapid pace
Manage on-call tasks for high-urgency user issues with extreme ownership. This includes being on critical ‘pager duty’ during APAC hours to ensure 24/7 Support for Critical Queries.
Prioritize critically and comfortably adapt to an ever-evolving product landscape
Operate in ambiguity, making informed decisions even in never-before-seen situations
Partner with engineers, teammates, and other internal stakeholders to diagnose and resolve user issues, both individually and at scale
Suggest and drive improvements to increase user satisfaction through support processes as well as own initiatives that increase efficiency and drive down contact rates
Uplevel our team’s technical knowledge by scoping gaps, working with cross-functional partners to deeply understand relevant nuances, and building resources that grow with our products
You may be a good fit if you:
Have experience in providing technical product support, in both English and Japanese, within a second tier, escalated, or priority support team.
Are familiar with APIs and technical SaaS products and can deeply understand technical docs with ease
Have demonstrated an ability to thrive in fast-paced, reactive situations while meeting core support metrics targets (e.g. CSAT, SLA, etc.)
Possess strong user empathy and are expert in the lifecycle of a support case; you can read between the lines of a user’s question, put yourself in their shoes, and get at the heart of their needs for a speedy, satisfying resolution
Have crisp but kind written communication skills and a deep care for the details
Enjoy helping others learn about new features and complex concepts
Are persistent and curious; you delight in the hunt of tracking down a bug or issue, and are energized by fixing this for all similar users going forward
Have experience contributing to the foundations of a support team – this is essential, highly valuable, but often unglamorous work. And particularly key for this role due to it being among the first Support hires in APAC.
Are proficient at working in a technical environment and are interested in Anthropic’s products
Possess a deep sense of ownership, and are excited to help us build our team!

Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the Role
As a Technical Program Manager on the Compute team, you will help drive the planning, coordination, and execution of programs that keep Anthropic's compute infrastructure running efficiently at scale. Our compute fleet is the foundation on which every model training run, evaluation, and inference workload depends.
You'll join a small, high-impact TPM team and take ownership of critical workstreams across the compute lifecycle, from how supply is procured and brought online, to how capacity is allocated and utilized across teams. The exact focus will depend on your strengths and the team's evolving needs.
You'll partner with Infrastructure, Systems, Research, Finance, and Capacity Engineering to shape the processes, tooling, and coordination mechanisms that allow Anthropic to move fast while managing an increasingly complex compute environment.
Responsibilities:
Own and drive critical programs across the compute lifecycle, coordinating execution across multiple engineering, research, and operations teams
Build and maintain operational visibility into the compute fleet, ensuring the organization has a clear picture of supply, demand, utilization, and health
Lead cross-functional coordination for compute transitions: bringing new capacity online, migrating workloads, and managing decommissions across cloud providers and hardware platforms
Partner with engineering and research leadership to navigate competing priorities and drive alignment on how compute resources are planned, allocated, and used
Identify and close operational gaps across the compute pipeline, whether through new tooling, improved processes, or better cross-team communication
Own trade-off discussions between utilization, cost, latency, and reliability, synthesizing inputs from technical and business stakeholders and communicating decisions to leadership
Develop and improve the processes and frameworks the team uses to plan, track, and execute compute programs at increasing scale and complexity
You may be a good fit if you:
Have 7+ years of technical program management experience in infrastructure, platform engineering, or compute-intensive environments
Have led complex, cross-functional programs involving multiple engineering teams with competing priorities and ambiguous requirements
Have experience working with research or ML teams and translating their needs into operational plans and technical requirements
Are comfortable diving deep into technical details (cloud infrastructure, cluster management, job scheduling, resource orchestration) while maintaining program-level visibility
Thrive in ambiguous, fast-moving environments where you need to define scope and build processes from the ground up
Have strong communication skills and can engage credibly with engineers, researchers, finance, and executive leadership
Have a track record of building trust with engineering teams and driving changes through influence rather than authority
Strong candidates may also have:
Experience managing compute capacity across multiple cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure) or hybrid cloud/on-premises environments
Familiarity with job scheduling, resource orchestration, or workload management systems (Kubernetes, Slurm, Borg, YARN, or custom schedulers)
Experience with GPU or accelerator infrastructure, including the unique challenges of large-scale ML training and inference workloads
Built or improved observability for infrastructure systems: dashboards, alerting, efficiency metrics, or cost attribution
Capacity planning experience including demand forecasting, cost modeling, or hardware lifecycle management
Scaled through hypergrowth in AI/ML, HPC, or large-scale cloud environments
Deadline to Apply:
None, applications will be received on a rolling basis.

ABOUT US
Sierra is the leading platform for customer-facing AI agents, working with many of the world's biggest brands — including The GAP, Rocket Mortgage, SoFi, Sutter Health, and SoftBank — to transform how they serve customers and grow their businesses. We are primarily an in-person company based in San Francisco, with growing offices across North America, Europe, and Asia.
We are guided by a set of values that are at the core of our actions and define our culture: Trust, Customer Obsession, Craftsmanship, Intensity, and a commitment to balancing Family along the way. These values are the foundation of our work, and we are committed to upholding them in everything we do.
Our co-founders are Bret Taylor https://www.linkedin.com/in/brettaylor/ and Clay Bavor https://www.linkedin.com/in/claybavor/. Bret currently serves as Board Chair of OpenAI. Previously, he was co-CEO of Salesforce (which had acquired the company he founded, Quip) and CTO of Facebook. Bret was also one of Google's earliest product managers and co-creator of Google Maps. Before founding Sierra, Clay spent 18 years at Google, where he most recently led Google Labs. Earlier, he started and led Google’s AR/VR effort, Project Starline, and Google Lens. Before that, Clay led the product and design teams for Google Workspace.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Design and deliver production-grade AI agents https://sierra.ai/blog/meet-the-ai-agent-engineer: You'll build and ship highly performant, reliable, and intuitive AI agents that are central, mission-critical and drive revenue directly to Sierra's growth. These aren't prototypes—they are powerful, scalable systems running in production environments across industries like finance, healthcare, and commerce.
- Drive the Agent Development Life Cycle https://sierra.ai/blog/agent-development-life-cycle (ADLC): You'll have complete ownership and autonomy from initial pilot through deployment and continuous iteration. You'll be responsible for building, tuning, and evolving AI agents in production environments, defining the standard for ADLC best practices along the way.
- Partner with large enterprises and cutting-edge startups: You’ll work directly with leaders at some of the world’s largest enterprises to understand their most pressing business challenges, and build AI agents that transform how they operate at scale. You'll also partner with the most cutting-edge startups in Silicon Valley, embedding AI agents across their entire business stack to drive innovation and efficiency.
- Build the future of the platform: Your direct work with customers will guide the evolution of Sierra's core platform. You'll surface unmet needs, prototype new tools and features, and collaborate with research, product, and platform to shape the future of AI agent development and Sierra's product.
EXAMPLE PROJECTS
These are some examples of projects that engineers on our team have worked on recently:
- Design and build AI agents for large telecommunications and media companies that consistently outperform human agents in managing subscription churn
- Develop and refine AI agents capable of navigating complex customer interactions, like troubleshooting a broken device and personalizing product recommendations
- Create generalizable AI agent frameworks tailored for industry-specific use cases. See some examples in our financial services blog https://sierra.ai/blog/five-ways-to-use-ai-agents-financial-services!
- Facilitate design partnerships for new product initiatives, such as new agent architectures, self-service capabilities, and generative agent development
- Experiment with the latest voice models and figure out how to integrate them at scale to enterprise-grade customers
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- Experience building and scaling end-to-end production systems
- Strong technical problem-solving skills, especially in fast-changing, ambiguous environments
- A builder and tinkerer’s mindset with high agency - you find creative ways to overcome obstacles and ship
- Comfort working directly with customers to understand their needs and solve real-world problems
- Excellent communication skills - clear, direct, and persuasive across technical and non-technical audiences
EVEN BETTER...
- Experience building or deploying AI/LLM systems in production
- Have been a founder or founding engineer - you know what it means to balance craft, ownership, and speed
- Familiarity with tools that power today's AI agents: eval frameworks, agent tooling, RAG pipelines, and prompt engineering
- Prior experience with React, TypeScript, and/or Go
- Previous roles where you interfaced with customers or led technical projects with external stakeholders
OUR VALUES
- Trust: We build trust with our customers with our accountability, empathy, quality, and responsiveness. We build trust in AI by making it more accessible, safe, and useful. We build trust with each other by showing up for each other professionally and personally, creating an environment that enables all of us to do our best work.
- Customer Obsession: We deeply understand our customers’ business goals and relentlessly focus on driving outcomes, not just technical milestones. Everyone at the company knows and spends time with our customers. When our customer is having an issue, we drop everything and fix it.
- Craftsmanship: We get the details right, from the words on the page to the system architecture. We have good taste. When we notice something isn’t right, we take the time to fix it. We are proud of the products we produce. We continuously self-reflect to continuously self-improve.
- Intensity: We know we don’t have the luxury of patience. We play to win. We care about our product being the best, and when it isn’t, we fix it. When we fail, we talk about it openly and without blame so we succeed the next time.
- Family: We know that balance and intensity are compatible, and we model it in our actions and processes. We are the best technology company for parents. We support and respect each other and celebrate each other’s personal and professional achievements.

We encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't precisely match the job description. Figma’s distribution partnerships team is passionate about unlocking new sources of revenue and hyper-scaling growth through the power of strategic alliances. This includes accelerating go-to-market (GTM) efforts, driving adoption of Figma’s platform, and unlocking new use cases via our suite of AI tools. We are looking to hire an experienced business development and partnerships professional to scale our efforts with agencies, systems integrators, consultancies, and commercial partners (resellers) across the globe. This includes driving revenue growth and supporting customers across North America in both commercial and public sectors (government).
This is not a channel sales role - we are focused on new critical initiatives and analyzing how partnerships best serve the long-term needs of Figma’s business. This is an exciting opportunity to join an emerging team at Figma where you will play an active role in shaping our long-term partner strategy. You will build new revenue-focused partner programs from scratch and scale our existing motions to better serve customers as Figma’s platform continues to evolve.
This is a full-time role that can be held from our New York City or San Francisco hub - or remotely in the United States.
What you’ll do at Figma:
Identify, evaluate, and execute new strategic distribution opportunities that require complementary GTM partners, and onboard qualified organizations into Figma’s formal partner program
Manage and grow relationships with service and commercial partners across AMER — including public sector and Federal clients — driving partner-influenced revenue and aligning on mutual success plans, critical metrics, and documented wins
Partner with Figma’s GTM teams to source, scope, and progress partner-influenced opportunities, while identifying new co-marketing and co-selling motions that expand reach and unlock new use cases
Evaluate and mature indirect sales motions in the context of Figma’s established sales model, recommending improvements that streamline execution and support long-term growth
Educate and enable the partner ecosystem on Figma’s products, services, and AI capabilities, while building strong cross-functional relationships with Sales, Marketing, Customer Experience, Product, and other internal partners
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
10+ years of professional experience in partnerships, business development, channel, or related GTM roles
3+ years of experience handling external GTM partners (e.g., SIs, agencies, consultancies, ISVs, resellers, marketplaces, or referral partners)
Proven experience building partner programs or strategies from inception to execution, including defining important metrics and revenue goals
Experience managing multiple strategic partner relationships simultaneously and driving measurable revenue outcomes
While not required, it’s an added plus if you also have:
Experience working with partners to influence or capture business within the U.S. Federal government
Worked at a service organization or channel partner in a direct GTM capacity
Sold to product, design, or technical audiences
Familiar with UX/UI design principles, collaboration tools, or digital product development workflows
Exposure to a sales methodology (e.g., MEDDICC, Command of the Message)
At Figma, one of our values is Grow as you go. We believe in hiring smart, curious people who are excited to learn and develop their skills. If you’re excited about this role but your past experience doesn’t align perfectly with the points outlined in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyways. You may be just the right candidate for this or other roles.

As the Engineering Manager for Observability, you'll lead the team building the systems that show Figma how its platform and its AI products actually behave in production. That spans our core observability stack, meaning metrics, logs, and distributed tracing, as well as a fast-growing new frontier: the AI observability pipeline that turns traces, conversations, and model outputs into the classification and evals that make Figma's AI features measurably better. You'll set strategy across both, raise the bar on instrumentation and data quality, and push into AI-driven approaches to anomaly detection and operational automation. Observability was an unowned space at Figma until recently, so this is a rare chance to shape an early-stage, high-leverage platform that every engineering team here depends on.
This is a full time role that can be held from one of our US hubs or remotely in the United States.
What you’ll do at Figma:
Lead and grow a 6 engineer team responsible for the reliability, scalability, and evolution of Figma's observability and AI observability platforms.
Own and evolve the AI observability ecosystem: a privacy-safe telemetry pipeline that aggregates trace, conversation, and model data, runs classification, and lets teams run evals to measure and improve AI feature quality.
Own Figma's core observability stack, including platforms like Datadog, ensuring high availability, strong data quality, and a healthy signal-to-noise ratio across metrics, logs, and traces.
Set the technical strategy for the instrumentation standards, libraries, agents, and operators that monitor services across the company.
Explore and ship AI-driven approaches to anomaly detection, root cause analysis, signal correlation, and operational automation.
Partner across infrastructure, product engineering, finance, and security to give teams clear visibility into system health at scale, including cost efficiency as the team's scope grows.
Coach and develop engineers through career growth, feedback, and technical leadership, building a culture of ownership and high-quality execution.
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
4+ years of experience leading and growing engineering teams in infrastructure, observability, platform, or AI systems, with a track record of delivering reliable production systems at scale.
A strong foundation in distributed systems and a platform mindset: you build systems other teams adopt and rely on, not just for your own team.
Hands-on depth in observability, AI systems telemetry, or both, whether that means metrics, logs, and distributed tracing, or the traces, classification, and evals that power AI products.
Fluency with the modern tooling in your area, such as Datadog, OpenTelemetry, and Prometheus, or LLM tracing, prompt and model versioning, and eval workflows.
A high operational bar (instrumentation and data quality, SLO design, incident response) and the ability to set technical direction and drive cross-functional alignment in complex environments.
While not required, it’s an added plus if you also have:
Breadth across both classic observability and AI observability, or the curiosity to grow into whichever is newer to you.
Experience creating AI Telemetry-assisted improvement feedback loops for services, in particular for AI products and features.
Experience improving infrastructure efficiency, including cost attribution, forecasting, vendor negotiation, and usage modeling.
A track record designing company-wide observability standards, shared libraries, and agent or operator-based integrations.
Experience applying AI or machine learning to anomaly detection, root cause analysis, or operational automation.
Experience scaling and mentoring high-performing teams through platform expansion or major architectural change.

ABOUT US
Sierra is the leading platform for customer-facing AI agents, working with many of the world's biggest brands — including The GAP, Rocket Mortgage, SoFi, Sutter Health, and SoftBank — to transform how they serve customers and grow their businesses.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Lead the design and delivery of production-grade AI agents: You’ll manage and grow a team of engineers building highly performant, reliable, and intuitive AI agents that are central, mission-critical, and directly drive Sierra’s growth. These aren’t prototypes—they are powerful, scalable systems running in production environments across industries like finance, healthcare, and commerce. You’ll ensure technical excellence, operational reliability, and high customer impact.
- Own the Agent Development Life Cycle (ADLC): You’ll guide your team through the full lifecycle—from initial pilot through deployment and continuous iteration—coaching engineers to set and maintain the standard for ADLC best practices. You’ll ensure projects are delivered on time, meet customer needs, and scale effectively in production environments.
- Partner with large enterprises and cutting-edge startups: You’ll collaborate with leaders at some of the world’s largest enterprises to understand their most pressing business challenges, and guide your team in building AI agents that transform how they operate at scale. You’ll also work with innovative startups in Europe, embedding AI agents across their entire business stack to drive innovation and efficiency.
- Shape the future of the platform: Your team’s direct work with customers will guide the evolution of Sierra’s core platform. You’ll surface unmet needs, prioritise initiatives, and collaborate with research, product, and platform teams to shape the future of AI agent development and Sierra’s product.

To do so, it is important to us that the diversity of our employees represents the diversity of our customers. We encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't precisely match the job description.
