About UXMatrix
UXMatrix develops a broad range of digital products, including bespoke frontend applications, reusable templates, widgets, APIs, automated quality-assurance solutions, and a fully customizable WordPress-based CMS. Our products serve multiple operators, brands, and regulated markets, requiring us to balance customer needs, end-user experience, technical scalability, regulatory requirements, and commercial value.
About the Role
We are looking for a Sportsbook Product Owner to join the UXMatrix Product Team and take ownership of the development and continuous improvement of our sportsbook frontend experience. You will define what should be built and why, translating customer, market, and business needs into clear product outcomes and actionable requirements for the development team. You will work closely with design, engineering, QA, delivery, sportsbook platform teams, commercial stakeholders, and operators throughout the complete product lifecycle—from discovery and definition through delivery, launch, measurement, and optimization. The ideal candidate combines strong product thinking with an understanding of sportsbook user journeys, frontend technology, data, and agile delivery. You should be comfortable making decisions, challenging assumptions, managing competing priorities, and maintaining a clear product direction in a fast-paced environment.
What You'll get to do:
Product Vision and Strategy
Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, objectives, and roadmap for the sportsbook frontend.
Translate company strategy, operator requirements, market trends, and end-user needs into clear product priorities.
Identify opportunities to improve sportsbook acquisition, engagement, conversion, retention, and overall user experience.
Balance reusable product capabilities with operator-specific and market-specific requirements.
Contribute to the long-term evolution of the sportsbook product, including personalization, modularity, scalability, and multi-tenant capabilities.
Clearly articulate the business and customer value behind proposed initiatives.
Product Discovery and Requirements
Work with operators, commercial teams, internal stakeholders, and end users to identify problems, needs, and product opportunities.
Analyze sportsbook journeys such as event discovery, navigation, search, market selection, bet placement, betslip usage, live betting, promotions, and bet management.
Convert business needs into clear product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and functional specifications.
Break down complex initiatives into manageable and independently deliverable increments.
Validate requirements with design, engineering, QA, platform teams, and relevant stakeholders before development begins.
Ensure regulatory, responsible-gambling, accessibility, localization, and market-specific requirements are considered during product definition.
Maintain complete, accurate, and accessible product documentation in Jira and Confluence.
Roadmap and Prioritization
Own and continuously maintain the product backlog.
Prioritize initiatives and backlog items based on customer value, user impact, commercial potential, strategic alignment, risk, effort, and technical dependencies.
Define minimum viable product scope and phased-delivery approaches for larger initiatives.
Manage scope throughout the delivery lifecycle and ensure material changes are assessed, documented, and agreed with the appropriate stakeholders.
Balance new product development, operator requirements, technical improvements, defects, and technical-debt reduction.
Make clear prioritization decisions when capacity or timelines are constrained.
Agile Delivery
Work closely with engineering, design, and QA throughout planning, refinement, development, testing, and release.
Ensure the development team understands the product objectives, user needs, requirements, and expected outcomes.
Lead or actively contribute to backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews, and relevant product workshops.
Provide timely clarification and make product decisions during development.
Identify dependencies, risks, and blockers early and collaborate with the appropriate owners to resolve them.
Accept completed work based on agreed requirements and acceptance criteria.
Support release planning and ensure features are ready from a product, operational, documentation, and stakeholder perspective.
Maintain delivery transparency and communicate progress, risks, scope changes, and decisions clearly.
Stakeholder and Client Management
Act as the primary product contact for assigned sportsbook initiatives.
Build strong working relationships with operators, sportsbook platform teams, commercial stakeholders, engineering, UX, QA, delivery, and senior management.
Facilitate product workshops, requirement-gathering sessions, demonstrations, and roadmap discussions.
Set clear expectations regarding product scope, priorities, dependencies, and delivery assumptions.
Evaluate stakeholder requests objectively and challenge solutions that do not support the product strategy or provide sufficient customer value.
Present recommendations using evidence, product data, competitive analysis, and clearly structured business arguments.
Support client presentations, product demonstrations, sales opportunities, and RFP responses when required.
Product Performance and Continuous Improvement
Define success criteria and measurable KPIs for new features and product initiatives.
Monitor sportsbook metrics such as event-to-bet conversion, betslip completion, bet placement success, click-through rates, engagement, bet frequency, retention, and feature adoption.
Use quantitative data, qualitative feedback, user research, and operational insights to evaluate product performance.
Review delivered features after launch and identify opportunities for optimization.
Work with UX and analytics teams to identify friction, abandonment points, usability issues, and unmet customer needs.
Maintain awareness of sportsbook market developments, competitor products, user-experience patterns, and emerging technologies.
Conduct competitor and feature-comparison analysis to identify meaningful product differentiators.
Propose improvements that strengthen the UXMatrix sportsbook proposition and create measurable value for EveryMatrix clients.
What we’re looking for:
At least three years of experience in product ownership, product management, business analysis, or a comparable digital-product role.
Experience in iGaming.
Experience working with cross-functional software-development teams in an agile environment.
Strong ability to translate business and user needs into clear, structured, and testable product requirements.
Demonstrated experience managing product backlogs, priorities, scope, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make evidence-based product decisions.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Confidence presenting product recommendations and reasoning with technical, commercial, and senior stakeholders.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple initiatives and competing priorities.
Ability to understand technical concepts, frontend architecture, APIs, integrations, and platform dependencies at a product level.
Experience using Jira, Confluence, or equivalent product and delivery-management tools.
Professional proficiency in English.
A degree in technology, economics, business, or a related discipline.
What Success Looks Like Success in this role means establishing a clear and evidence-based direction for the sportsbook frontend, maintaining a well-prioritized and delivery-ready backlog, improving collaboration between product and engineering, and delivering measurable improvements for operators and sportsbook users. You will be expected to create alignment around what we build, why we build it, and how we determine whether it has been successful.
Here's what we offer:
Start with 22 days of annual leave, with 2 additional days added each year, up to 32 days by your fifth year with us.
Benefit from two Free Fridays each year, limited to one per quarter.
3 sick leave days per year, no doctor's note required.
Daily catered lunch or monthly lunch allowance.
Private Medical Subscription.
Access online learning platforms like Udemy for Business and LinkedIn Learning, and a budget for external training.
Access to an Employee Assistance Program through TELUS Health.

Join us on this exciting journey as we continue to redefine the iGaming landscape, one groundbreaking solution at a time.
About the Role
We are looking for a Product Data Analyst to join the UXMatrix Product Team and help establish a consistent, evidence-based approach to product development and optimization. You will define how product performance and user behaviour are measured, ensure that the necessary data is collected accurately, and transform that data into insights and recommendations that Product Owners, UX Designers, Engineering teams, and business stakeholders can act upon. This role extends beyond dashboard creation and regular reporting. You will investigate user journeys, identify friction and opportunities, support product discovery, define feature-success criteria, and determine whether released initiatives achieve their intended customer and business outcomes. You will work across UXMatrix products, with a particular focus on critical frontend journeys such as registration, login, deposit, sportsbook navigation, event discovery, bet placement, casino discovery, promotions, content interaction, and customer retention.
What You'll get to do:
Product Measurement Strategy
Work with Product Owners and stakeholders to translate business objectives into measurable product outcomes and KPIs. Establish clear success criteria before features and initiatives enter development.
Define leading and lagging indicators across acquisition, activation, engagement, conversion, retention, and feature adoption.
Help product teams distinguish between activity metrics, diagnostic metrics, and measurable customer or business outcomes.
Ensure product recommendations are supported by reliable data, user research, or clearly documented hypotheses.
Analytics Tracking and Data Quality
Define and maintain analytics tracking plans for websites, applications, widgets, and critical user journeys.
Translate business questions and measurement objectives into clear technical tracking requirements.
Validate analytics implementations before and after release.
Monitor data quality and investigate broken events, incomplete parameters, unexpected changes, and reporting discrepancies.
Ensure that tracking implementations comply with consent, privacy, security, and applicable regulatory requirements.
Product and User-Behaviour Analysis
Identify abandonment points, friction, behavioural patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
Segment users according to relevant characteristics such as acquisition source, device, market, lifecycle stage, product preference, engagement level, or previous behaviour.
Conduct funnel, cohort, retention, conversion, path, and behavioural analyses.
Analyze critical user journeys
Combine quantitative data with UX research, customer feedback, technical performance, and operational context.
Reporting and Data Visualization
Build and maintain dashboards that provide stakeholders with a clear view of product performance.
Create reporting views appropriate for Product Owners, UX teams, Engineering teams, operators, commercial stakeholders, and senior management.
Present trends, anomalies, risks, and opportunities clearly and concisely.
Reduce dependency on manual reporting by developing reusable and automated dashboards.
Ensure KPI definitions remain consistent across products, teams, and reports.
Deliver focused analysis and actionable recommendations rather than reporting data without interpretation.
Product Discovery and Decision Support
Support Product Owners during product discovery by evaluating evidence, sizing opportunities, and identifying behavioural problems.
Provide data to support roadmap prioritization, business cases, and investment decisions.
Help product teams formulate measurable hypotheses for proposed product changes.
Challenge assumptions and stakeholder requests when they are not supported by evidence or a clearly defined customer problem.
Conduct market, benchmark, and competitor analyses when relevant to product decisions.
Contribute relevant data and insights to product reviews, client presentations, RFP responses, and strategic discussions.
Experimentation and Feature Evaluation
Define hypotheses, success metrics, guardrail metrics, and evaluation criteria for product experiments.
Support A/B tests, controlled rollouts, phased releases, and other product-validation methods.
Conduct post-launch reviews to determine whether delivered features achieved their intended outcomes.
Track whether recommendations lead to product changes and measurable improvements.
Stakeholder Collaboration
Work closely with Product Owners, UX Designers, Developers, QA Engineers, Architects, BI teams, operators, and commercial stakeholders.
Facilitate workshops to define business questions, KPIs, success criteria, and tracking requirements.
Proactively identify relevant insights rather than working exclusively from reporting requests.
Establish a regular product-insight cadence through reviews, reporting, and focused deep-dive analyses.
Keep stakeholders informed about measurement gaps, data-quality risks, and significant product-performance changes.
What we’re looking for:
At least three years of experience in product analytics, digital analytics, business intelligence, data analysis, or a comparable analytical role.
Previous experience in sportsbook, iGaming, gaming, fintech, e-commerce, or another transactional or regulated digital industry.
Strong SQL skills and experience extracting, combining, validating, and analyzing data from multiple sources.
Experience analyzing digital-product behaviour, including user journeys, conversion, engagement, feature adoption, and retention.
Experience defining analytics events, parameters, tracking plans, event taxonomies, and measurement frameworks.
Practical experience with analytics and visualization tools such as GA4, Microsoft Clarity, Power BI, Looker, Tableau, Amplitude, Mixpanel, or equivalent platforms.
Ability to transform complex data into clear findings and actionable product recommendations.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
Strong attention to detail and a disciplined approach to data quality and validation.
Experience collaborating with Product, UX, Engineering, QA, BI, and commercial teams.
Good understanding of web and mobile application behaviour, including client-side and server-side tracking.
Professional proficiency in English.
A degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science, economics, business, or another relevant discipline.

Do you care about building a user base from scratch, testing unproven acquisition channels, and implementing wild ideas beyond paid search? Are you enthusiastic about shipping now, preferring to go live with rough ideas today over polishing presentations for next month? If so, this is the role for you.
In this role, you’ll join the team building
Qure
, an AI copilot for web testing automation. This desktop app turns manual testing flows into production-ready automated scripts, saving hours of manual coding. We’re a seven-person team funded directly by JetBrains.
About JetBrains Innovation Hub
JetBrains builds software development tools used by more than 15 million people, over 300,000 companies, and 88 of the Fortune Global Top 100. Innovation Hub is its internal startup incubator, where small autonomous teams build new products, funded and employed by JetBrains.
Qure
runs inside the Innovation Hub with its own roadmap, go-to-market strategy, and customers.
For you, that means a founding role without the runway risk. You build acquisition from zero, with the funding, benefits, and stability of an established company behind you.
What you’ll do
Qure is a fresh product, so the acquisition channel map is practically blank. Paid search, video, newsletters, marketplaces, paid communities, and content are all unproven for Qure. We need someone to determine how best to find its audience. With a high degree of freedom, a lean team, and no marketing bureaucracy, decisions you make on Monday go live by Wednesday.
Day to day, you will:
Run parallel channel experiments across paid search, video, communities, and organic traffic to discover what actually converts.
Shut down underperforming channels early using your own data to ground the decision.
Produce your own marketing assets, including ad copy, screen recordings, and landing pages.
Work directly with the product team to ship acquisition-focused product requirements, such as custom onboarding flows or free tools.
Build and maintain end-to-end funnel tracking, from a user’s initial click to aha moment to LTV.
What you’ll bring
Comfort operating without a playbook and deciding what to test when acquisition channels are entirely unproven.
Honesty about performance, with the discipline to cut underperforming channels based on data before anyone asks you to.
A bias for action that favors shipping functional campaigns quickly over prolonged polishing.
What you’ll need
Demonstrated success growing self-serve products with direct responsibility for user activation.
Experience managing marketing budgets across channels and reallocating spending based on user acquisition economics.
The capability to create your own creative assets – including copy, landing pages, and product demos – without relying on external agencies or designers.
Daily experience using LLMs in your own work for research, creative drafting, and data analysis, with the judgment to know when they help or hinder work.
Experience working inside a startup or a small, fast-moving product team.
Experience doing marketing for developer tools, QA products, or AI tools is a plus.
What success looks like
In your first three months, success means establishing a fully measurable acquisition funnel from a user’s first click to the aha moment. You will have run parallel channel experiments, determined the true cost per active user or B2B lead, shut down non-viable channels, and identified one or two channels worthy of significant investment.
Why join JetBrains?
Strong base salary. We offer competitive pay that reflects your skills and experience.
Flexible work location. Enjoy the freedom to work from home or from the office.
Remote work. Spend up to 30 days per year working remotely from abroad.
Extra time off. More days to relax, recharge, and do the things you love.
Medical insurance allowance. Enjoy peace of mind for you and your family
Learning and development opportunities. Access to conferences, courses, and language classes.
Language classes. Pick up the local language or sharpen your English skills.
Fuel your day. Enjoy a hot meal or receive a lunch allowance on workdays.

ABOUT MISTRAL
Mistral provides full-stack AI solutions: from frontier models to developer tools, applications, and compute. We partner with enterprises tackling the hardest problems across high-stakes industries like finance, manufacturing, defense, healthcare, and the public sector, co-creating customized AI systems that they can run on their terms.
We are a dynamic, collaborative team passionate about AI and its potential to transform society. Our diverse workforce thrives in competitive environments and is committed to driving innovation. Our teams are distributed between Europe, North America, Asia and the Middle East. We are creative, low-ego and team-spirited.
THE ROLE
As a Compute Solution Architect, you will support our strategic AI Infrastructure customers. In this role, you will be a trusted technical advisor, helping clients design, deploy, and scale AI solutions while managing large-scale GPU workloads involving thousands of GPUs. You will also collaborate with sales and product teams to drive growth and enhance customer satisfaction.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Your responsibilities will include:
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact, troubleshooting and resolving for AI Infrastructure services.
- Lead the delivery of strategic GPUaaS contracts and ensure all commitments are met (timelines, SLAs, support, …).
- Act as a bridge to product and support teams, providing customer feedback, relaying feature requests, and ensuring alignment with customer requirements.
- Guide customers in optimizing GPU performance for ML training and inference workloads, ensuring seamless integration and scalability.
- Partner with the sales team to identify new opportunities, promote the latest products, and deliver technical presentations.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 5-10 + years in roles like Cloud Solutions Architect, Technical Account Manager, or Customer Engineer, with hands-on experience in cloud services and AI/ML workloads.
- Track record as a technical pre-sales/solutions architect driving infrastructure engagements with partners through to production.
- Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts and advanced implementations.
- Proven success driving technical engagement and technical adoption.
- Working knowledge of cluster orchestration and scheduling: Slurm, Kubernetes, and batch/HPC workload management.
NICE TO HAVE
- Working knowledge of model training frameworks runtimes (e.g., PyTorch, JAX, Tensorflow) and Generative AI serving runtimes (e.g., vLLM, TensorRT-LLM, SGLang, TGI, LLM-D).
- Proficiency with parallel file systems (e.g., Lustre, GPFS) and object storage integration.
- Familiarity with high-performance infrastructure: InfiniBand/RDMA networking, parallel storage, and multi-node distributed training topologies.
WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS
Compute deals require flawless execution from the initial technical commitment through deployment and production. By coordinating customers, sales, product, and support, the Compute Solution Architect ensures that infrastructure performs as expected, contractual commitments and SLAs are met, and issues are resolved quickly. This end-to-end ownership is critical to building customer trust, securing long-term adoption, and turning strategic GPUaaS contracts into successful partnerships.

Most money apps talk at you. Cleo talks back ✨
We're not building another finance app. We're building the world's first AI financial assistant, one that actually understands your money and makes you better at it, and we're changing the world's relationship with money in the process 💰 For everyone, whatever their background or balance.
The proof: profitable, fast-growing, a unicorn with over $300M in ARR, and millions of people who now feel differently about their money.
We love original thinkers who challenge the status quo. We move fast, tell the truth, and there's nowhere to hide from good work here. If that excites you more than it scares you, you'll fit right in.
Follow us on LinkedIn https://www.linkedin.com/company/cleo-ai/ for new features and the occasional roast 🔥
MEET THE TEAM
Here at Cleo, we have ~200 Engineers organised into Pillars ✨ Our stack spans a Ruby on Rails monolith, a single React Native (TypeScript) app frontend, Python for machine learning services, and PostgreSQL, all hosted on AWS and shipped through Kubernetes - backend goes out multiple times a week, app releases to Google and Apple at least weekly. To thrive here, our engineers proactively use our Engineering Principles to guide daily decisions, take ownership of problems beyond their own squad to drive broader impact, and actively drive their own learning, development and growth.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We're hiring Senior Backend Engineers to join one of our cross-functional product squads - working closely with other engineers, designers, analysts, and product partners to build features that improve our users' financial health.
We care far more about how you think than which language you've used before. Much of our product runs on Ruby today, but we deliberately hire polyglot engineers: if you've shipped meaningful product work in any modern stack, you'll ramp quickly here.
Key responsibilities for this role include:
- Shape the direction of upcoming work - break down ambiguous problems with your squad and help drive projects from early discovery through to shipped impact
- Build and evolve the APIs, data models, and business logic behind our product; no Ruby experience required, just strong fundamentals and sound judgement on trade-offs
- Contribute to testing, observability, and experimentation, and help continuously raise the bar on developer experience and product quality
- Drive high-impact initiatives such as our secured credit card, budgeting and financial insight features, and subscription/pricing experiments
- Mentor engineers at your level and beyond, share knowledge generously, and help build a culture where people grow quickly and have real influence
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- An experienced engineer with solid fundamentals, having worked across any modern tech stack - the specific language matters less than your ability to reason clearly, learn quickly, and think in trade-offs
- A track record of writing maintainable, thoughtful code and making sound technical decisions with minimal oversight
- Comfortable working with Ruby, or confident you can ramp up quickly in it - deep Ruby experience isn't required
- Strong collaboration skills with product, design, and data partners, with genuine curiosity about users and their problems
- Experience mentoring or raising the bar for engineers around you, and contributing positively to team culture
- Motivated by Cleo's mission - you care about building products that genuinely improve people's financial health
- Alignment with our engineering principles https://web.meetcleo.com/blog/cleo-engineering-principles - autonomy, accountability, pragmatism, and building things that matter
WHAT WE OFFER
We offer benefits package built to support you in and out of work. Benefits vary by country 🌍 and include meaningful equity, comprehensive health insurance, mental health support, a paid one-month sabbatical after four years, a learning & development platform, pension or retirement contributions, and location-specific leave entitlements.

We're glad to make reasonable adjustments at any stage of the process. If there's anything we can do to support you in showing us your best, please let your recruiter or one of the team know.

MEET THE TEAM 👥
Hello 👋 I'm Kyle, VP Finance at Cleo. Im excited to be growing our Finance team as Cleo enters its next stage of scaling.
Finance at Cleo is about much more than reporting the numbers. We help the business understand its economics, make better decisions, allocate capital, and build the financial infrastructure needed to scale.
Today, our team of ~25 spans Controllership, Financial Operations, Treasury, FP&A, Strategic Finance, Capital Markets, and Investor Relations, supported by a dedicated Data Science team working across all areas.
We work closely with teams across Cleo, and we expect our people to understand the business, take real ownership, and master their craft.
It’s an exciting time to join: the company is growing quickly, the problems are getting more interesting, and there is a huge amount still to build.
About the Role ✍️
We are currently hiring a Head of Treasury (L5) reporting to the VP of Finance. As Cleo has scaled, so has the complexity of cash moving through the business - you'll bring together liquidity management, cash forecasting, banking infrastructure, funding operations and FX strategy into a single, scalable treasury function built for a fast-growing consumer lending platform operating across multiple facilities and geographies.
Key responsibilities for this role include:
- Own Cleo's group-wide liquidity strategy, building short, medium and long-term cash forecasts across entities, currencies and funding sources, and translating them into recommendations on capital allocation and funding needs
- Own daily cash positioning and treasury operations supporting Cleo's lending facilities - drawdowns, repayments, settlements and collateral movements - partnering closely with Capital Markets to ensure facilities run efficiently
- Strengthen cash controls, reconciliations and audit readiness with Core Finance and Finance Operations, and establish treasury policies and governance that support scale and public-company readiness
- Define the roadmap for treasury systems, data and automation, reducing reliance on manual processes, and build clear reporting and dashboards across liquidity, funding capacity and facility utilisation
- Establish operating rhythms across FP&A, Accounting, Capital Markets, Engineering and Operations so cash movements and forecasts are coordinated, transparent and auditable
- Own Cleo's FX strategy - identify and manage currency exposure across a multi-currency, multi-geography business, and run and improve the hedging programme, from setting risk policy to executing hedges and reporting exposure to leadership
- Scope and hire your first Treasury Operations team member, then grow the function as the business does
What We're Looking For 🕵️
- You've built treasury before - stood up or materially transformed a treasury function, not just run one that already existed, in fintech, consumer lending, financial services, or another highly regulated environment
- Consumer-lending fluency, with an understanding of warehouse facilities, borrowing bases, receivables financing, settlement flows and bank partnerships, comfortable supporting multiple concurrent facilities alongside a Capital Markets team
- Hands-on and strategic - you enjoy building from first principles (operating model, controls, systems) and are equally comfortable approving a wire or designing the policy that governs it
- Forecasting and analytical rigour, having built models and frameworks that leadership actually makes decisions on
- Cross-functional influence, able to bring Finance, Accounting, Capital Markets, Engineering, Product and Operations along with you and explain complex treasury concepts to an exec audience
- Bias to action, zero ego - this role exists because complexity is outrunning capacity, and you'll ship a better setup quickly

BUILDING THE FUTURE OF OPEN FINANCE
Payward - the parent company behind Kraken, NinjaTrader, Breakout, xStocks, Payward Services and CF Benchmarks - has spent the last 15 years building one of the most modern and globally accessible financial infrastructure platforms in the industry, built to advance an open, global financial system.
THE TEAM
Founded in 2011, Kraken is one of the world's longest-standing crypto platforms, trusted by over 10 million individuals and institutions across the globe. It offers spot trading, margin, futures, staking, and OTC services, with products built for both individual investors and institutional clients.
The Pro Verifications team decides whether a business signing up on the Pro side is who it says it is, and whether we're allowed to onboard it. That means figuring out who actually owns the business, running it against sanctions and watchlists, and doing all of it fast enough that a real customer doesn't lose patience and leave. Every Pro customer hits these systems, so slow or wrong is very visible — and the team is early, which means whoever joins gets to decide how a lot of it works instead of inheriting it.
How We Work
- We deploy constantly, almost always behind a flag, in pieces small enough to pull back fast.
- Security and compliance show up at design time, not as a gate at the end.
- Every story is tied to a metric it's meant to move — if work isn't on the board, it doesn't get staffed.
- At this level, you're expected to shape these standards, not just work inside them.
THE OPPORTUNITY
As a Staff Engineer on Pro Verifications, you'll own the technical direction for how verification is built here — the architecture, the patterns other engineers work inside, and the calls about what we own versus what we lean on a vendor for. You'll be hands-on across the stack, drive out entire classes of recurring failure rather than patching them one at a time, and design the fail-closed and audit behavior that keeps regulators satisfied.
This is a high-impact, hands-on technical leadership role for engineers who've built where being wrong has real consequences, and who want to shape a system that stays fast, safe, and defensible as it grows.
- Set the shape of the verification services and their contracts across the KYC/KYB flow.
- Decide how we abstract KYC and KYB vendors so a bad provider day doesn't turn into an outage.
- Design fail-closed behavior and audit trails that hold up under regulatory scrutiny.
- Identify the classes of failure that keep recurring and remove them for good.
- Write and drive architecture decisions (ADRs), and hold the line on security and compliance at design time, not as a late gate.
- Mentor and raise the bar for senior engineers through design reviews, code, and direct feedback.
- Be measured on whether verification gets faster, more of it decides itself, fewer decisions are wrong, and the systems stay up — and on whether the team got stronger for you being on it.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Around eight years building and running production systems, with a track record of owning a domain's technical direction, not just delivering inside one.
- Deep, fluent expertise in Rust, with the versatility to work across TypeScript and React where verification meets the customer.
- You've set architecture other people build on, and it held up — you can point to specific classes of failure you designed out, not just incidents you fixed.
- You've made teams faster through patterns, tooling, or mentoring — engineers around you got better and shipped more because of calls you made.
- You've built where being wrong had real consequences: compliance, payments, security, or anywhere a bad call costs more than a rough user experience.
- Strong on distributed systems, service contracts, and secure design — you've integrated third-party APIs that couldn't be trusted, with real timeouts, retries, idempotency, circuit breakers, and backup paths that actually get tested.
- Comfortable with, or able to quickly ramp on, gRPC, Temporal, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, MySQL/MariaDB, Redis, and GitLab CI.
NICE TO HAVES
- Direct experience with KYC, KYB, or fraud work, including integrating providers like Trulioo, Persona, or ComplyAdvantage.
- Comfort building with AI in the loop.
- Time spent in crypto, fintech, or another space regulators pay close attention to.
Unless a specific application deadline is stated in the job posting, applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.
Please note, applicants are permitted to redact or remove information on their resume that identifies age, date of birth, or dates of attendance at or graduation from an educational institution.
