ABOUT THE ROLE
We're hiring a Jr. Software Engineer to join the Optimum team and turn product ideas into working prototypes. You'll work closely with our CTO and CPO to build, test and benchmark our solutions against the competition.
This role is deliberately focused. Your job is product discovery through code: build it, measure it, learn from it, and help us find a good fit for our users.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Build working prototypes of new ideas alongside the engineering and product team.
- Design and run benchmarks that compare our prototypes with competing solutions, and report results clearly.
- Work with the product team to understand how our users operate, where performance matters most to them, and what they'd pay for.
- Iterate quickly: ship a prototype, present findings and gather feedback, decide what to keep, and move on.
- Use AI coding tools such as Claude Code and Cursor to prototype faster, so you spend your time on testing ideas rather than boilerplate.
- Help shape the roadmap by bringing data and working demos, not just assumptions.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Strong hands-on software engineering skills and a track record of shipping, such as open-source work or side projects.
- Strong hands-on full-stack engineering skills, from backend services and APIs to web front ends, with a record of shipping things such as open-source work or side projects.

- A competitive streak and curiosity about how your work stacks up against alternatives.
- Comfort with performance measurement and benchmarking.
- Clear written communication and the ability to work with a distributed team.
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience with Go or another systems language on the backend, and React or TypeScript on the front end.
- Familiarity with real-time data systems, latency-sensitive applications, or high-performance workloads.
- Experience with blockchain networks, P2P networking, or trading and MEV workflows.
- Experience working directly with product or business stakeholders.
WHAT WE OFFER
- Work on hard problems at the edge of networking, blockchain market structure, and decentralized systems.
- Close collaboration with a small, senior, cross-functional team.
- Competitive compensation, equity, and flexibility.
- Flexible time off.
- Fully remote.
- Work from wherever you do your best thinking. Most of the team operates on ET or CET, so we look for meaningful overlap with those windows (at least 5 hours per day).
This is a 4 month contract with the potential to extend.

This enables hundreds of thousands of people to achieve financial stability for themselves and their families while providing essential care to millions of people across the U.S.
Founded in 2016, we are a remote-first team of over 1,000 people building a top Y-Combinator company https://www.ycombinator.com/topcompanies/ and have been profitable since 2022. We’re the leader in Long-Term Care staffing and are rapidly expanding into Home Health, Hospitals, and more, meaning we have more work to do than people to do it, and are growing our team to support millions more people and their communities.
OVERVIEW
Our largest customers run complex operations, and when something isn’t working, the problem rarely sits neatly within one team. A customer may be implementing a new product, dealing with a complicated integration, or facing an operational issue with no obvious owner or solution. That’s where you come in!
We’re looking for a Strategic Fixer who wants exposure to a wide range of problems and is ready to own outcomes. You will take ambiguous problems, structure them, dig into the details, align senior stakeholders, and drive execution across teams that don’t report to you.
This isn’t a role where you make a recommendation and hand it off. One week you might be diagnosing a failing payroll integration, the next coordinating an engineering fix, and the next working with a customer’s VP of Operations to get an implementation back on track. The problems might vary, but your job stays the same: figure it out, get the right people moving, and own the problem until it’s solved. This role opens doors to a range of growth paths across Clipboard!
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Analyze operational data to spot trends and bottlenecks, and turn your findings into clear recommendations that guide business decisions.
- Research and evaluate new tools, including AI, automation, and internal systems, and drive their adoption to make operations more effective.
- Design processes, workflows, and operating procedures that improve efficiency, quality, and customer experience
- Lead cross-functional projects and strategic initiatives from planning through execution, partnering with Operations, Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and other teams.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 2–6 years of experience in a problem-solving role, such as strategy or management consulting, operations, strategy & operations, implementation, customer strategy, or program management.
- Experience solving operational problems by improving processes, designing workflows, or building scalable systems, while juggling multiple priorities in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
- Strong analytical skills, with comfort using data (e.g., SQL, Python) to diagnose problems and support decisions.
- Clear written and verbal communication, with the ability to explain complex problems simply and align stakeholders across teams, from frontline operators to senior leaders.
- A high level of ownership. You don’t stop at the recommendation; you stay with the problem until it’s solved.
- A deep curiosity that drives you to reason from first principles and dig until you find the root cause.
- A habit of going to the source: testing the feature, listening to the agent call, calling the customer, or running the workflow.
WHY JOIN CLIPBOARD?
- We are remote-first, giving you the flexibility to work with us from many places.
- Fast-paced startup environment. Join a company that values curiosity, independence, and growth.
- A hiring process that rewards skills, not just experience. Every applicant gets a fair shot, our selection is based on real-world problem-solving ability, not just credentials.
- Opportunity to make a significant impact with our customers on both sides of the marketplace.
THE INTERVIEW PROCESS
At Clipboard, we don't believe proxies are a reliable way to measure ability. We prefer to evaluate candidates by having them do work that closely resembles the actual job. We are hiring for several teams through this one posting, so the process also helps us find the team where you’ll fit best. Here is how it works:
1. Application Review
2. Case Study
3. Case Study Interview
4. Hiring Manager Interview (s)
5. Offer!

Job Summary
The Bugcrowd RL and Reasoning Team focuses on pushing the boundaries of autonomous cybersecurity by building authentic, verifiable reinforcement learning environments for world-leading foundational AI companies. As a Reinforcement Learning Engineer specializing in Reinforcement Learning from Verifiable Rewards (RLVR), you will design and scale automated verification pipelines that transform real-world software vulnerabilities into deterministic reward functions. In this role, you will bridge the gap between low-level security analysis and modern LLM reasoning models, engineering environments where AI agents learn to discover, exploit, and remediate software vulnerabilities with mathematical certainty. Instead of relying on subjective human feedback, your work directly powers the rigorous, verifiable reward signals that teach next-generation frontier AI models how to master complex cybersecurity domain logic. You will work at the intersection of fuzzing, dynamic program analysis, system exploitation, and scalable ML infrastructure to shape the safety and offensive/defensive capabilities of future artificial intelligence.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Design, build, and deploy high-throughput RLVR (Reinforcement Learning from Verifiable Rewards) environments that evaluate LLM action sequences against deterministic execution outcomes.
Develop automated test harnesses, sandboxes, and verification engines that convert complex vulnerability research (e.g., memory corruption, web security, logic bugs) into binary pass/fail reward signals.
Integrate Bugcrowd’s Mayhem automated analysis platform and real-world vulnerability feeds into continuous, scalable RL environment generation pipelines.
Architect safe, isolated, and highly reproducible execution environments (using Docker, BuildKit, or Nix) capable of running thousands of simultaneous agent-driven exploitation and patching trajectories.
Collaborate directly with researchers at frontier AI labs including Anthropic, OpenAI, and Cohere to define standard benchmark formats, observation spaces, and verifiable evaluation metrics for cybersecurity tasks.
Implement precise telemetry, ground-truth verification algorithms, and trajectory logging to analyze agent reasoning paths and prevent reward hacking or false positives.
Build low-level instrumentation and debugging tools to monitor memory states, process executions, and network behaviors during agent interaction cycles.
Optimize infrastructure performance and environment reset latency to support massive-scale parallel sampling and distributed RL training workflows.
Benchmark and evaluate frontier AI model performance across diverse offensive and defensive security challenges, such as automated fuzzing, exploit payload generation, and patch validation.
Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Understanding of RL training workflows used by modern LLM systems, specifically execution-based feedback or Reinforcement Learning from Verifiable Rewards (RLVR).
Proficiency developing applications in Python and low-level systems programming in C, with Rust experience being a strong plus.
Solid understanding of software vulnerabilities, binary exploitation, fuzzing methodologies, or program analysis.
Experience with DevOps pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions), reproducible builds (Docker, BuildKit, Nix), and comfort working with Linux systems and low-level debugging.
Experience working with or building benchmark environments (e.g., CTFs, SWE-bench, security challenges, or execution sandboxes).
Preferred Experience
Experience designing custom reward functions, ground-truth verifiers, or automated grading engines for AI safety and reasoning models.
Background in low-level program analysis tools, sanitizers (e.g., ASan/MSan), compiler instrumentation, or automated exploit generation tools.
Proven track record of participating in or developing competitive cybersecurity benchmarks, CTFs, or open-source AI evaluation frameworks.
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
The ideal candidate must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
Sitting and / or standing - Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
Carrying and / or lifting - Must be able to carry / move laptop as needed throughout the work day.
Environment - remote, work-from-home 100% of the time.

At Bugcrowd, we strive for fairness, equality and to create an environment that allows our people to perform at their very best. Our compensation philosophy is to foster a collaborative community that rewards, attracts and retains the best possible talent. The provided salary details are based on US national averages and we retain the flexibility to tailor to the needs of the business.
The national estimate for the current base range for the position of $176,400 - $242,550.
This position may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary bonus program or commission plan, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
Culture
At Bugcrowd, we understand that diversity in the workplace is vital to a company’s success and growth. We strive to make sure that people are included and have a sense of being part of making Bugcrowd not only a great product but a great place to work.
We regularly hear from both customers and researchers that Bugcrowd feels like a family, and we strive to maintain that internally as well.
Our team consists of a broad range of people: musicians, adventure sports junkies, nature lovers, parents, cereal enthusiasts, night owls, cyclists, artists—you get the point.
At Bugcrowd, we are solving security threats and vulnerabilities that are relevant to everyone, therefore we believe solving these problems takes all kinds of backgrounds. We value the perspectives and experiences people from underrepresented backgrounds bring.

About Alvys
Alvys is on a mission to revolutionize transportation logistics. Combining hands-on industry experience with a world-class technical team from Wonder, Jet, and ServiceTitan, we’re building the preferred supply chain operating system, starting with the $800B US freight industry.
Alvys’ all-in-one solution is designed to help Carriers, Brokers, and Hybrid Operators book and move more freight with more automation and lower costs.
About the Role
As an EDI Growth Specialist at Alvys, you will own EDI integrations from kickoff through go-live. You'll work directly with our customers and their trading partners (shippers, 3PLs, VANs, and payment processors) to gather requirements, build mappings, establish connectivity, and run testing until each integration is certified and live in production. This role is critical to scaling our EDI capabilities, and it suits someone who is as comfortable chasing down a trading partner for a spec guide as they are working through an X12 file segment by segment.
What you’ll do
Partner and customer communication
- Own communication with trading partners and Alvys customers for every integration you manage, from kickoff to go-live
- Gather requirements, including spec guides, sample files, ISA/GS identifiers, connection details, and the transaction sets in scope
- Follow up consistently on open items, keep projects moving, and escalate when a partner or customer stalls
- Coordinate go-live timing, cutover, and sign-off with all parties
Mapping
- Build and maintain decoder and encoder mappings between X12 transactions (204, 990, 214, 210, 997) and the Alvys platform data model
- Interpret partner spec guides and sample files, and identify where a partner's actual data differs from their documentation
- Work with APIs and JSON payloads to make sure mappings are technically correct and fit our backend systems
- Apply and contribute to our mapping templates and standards
Connectivity
- Set up and troubleshoot AS2, SFTP, and VAN connections, including identifiers, MDNs, directories, and test vs. production environments
- Configure customer integration profiles in the platform
Testing and go-live
- Run end-to-end testing across the full transaction cycle: inbound tender, 990 response, 214 status updates, and 210 invoicing
- Exchange test files with trading partners, interpret 997 rejections and partner feedback, and iterate until the integration is certified
- Validate integrations against the customer's real day-to-day workflow, not just the test cases
- Confirm production readiness, verify the first production transactions at go-live, and hand off to Support with complete documentation
Project management and documentation
- Manage several concurrent integrations, keeping ticket status, due dates, and notes accurate and current
- Document mapping logic, partner-specific quirks, assumptions, and edge cases so another team member could pick up any integration you own
- Contribute to continuous improvement of our onboarding process, testing standards, and internal best practices
What you need
- 2–4 years of hands-on EDI experience, including X12 transaction sets (204, 214, 990, 210, 997 strongly preferred)
- Background in transportation and logistics, ideally with a carrier, broker, 3PL, or TMS provider
- Hands-on experience with EDI connectivity (AS2 and/or SFTP); VAN familiarity is a plus
- Hands-on experience with data mapping between different systems and formats
- Proficiency reading and manipulating JSON, and experience working with APIs (reading documentation, understanding requests and responses)
- Strong troubleshooting skills, including diagnosing problems from raw files, logs, and data
- Excellent written communication with external enterprise partners, with the persistence to follow up without damaging the relationship
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects at once and prioritize independently
- Basic SQL is a plus

THE ROLE
We're building an AI-powered entertainment studio producing addictive vertical micro-drama series for US audiences, primarily women aged 35–55.
We're looking for a creative director with exceptional storytelling instincts, strong cinematic taste, and a deep understanding of human emotions.
Your mission is simple: turn good scripts into emotionally powerful episodes that people can't stop watching.
You'll work with screenwriters, AI video creators, and editors, taking creative ownership from script review to the final finished episode.
You won't need to write the scripts or generate every video yourself. Your role is to guide the creative execution, identify what needs improvement, and ensure every episode meets our standards.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
1. Script Review & Creative Direction
- Review season storylines and individual episode screenplays.
- Evaluate storytelling, emotional impact, character motivations, hooks, and cliffhangers.
- Approve scripts or provide specific, actionable feedback to screenwriters.
- Add directing instructions only when necessary. If the script is already strong and production-ready, approve it without unnecessary changes.
2. Direct AI Video Production
- Establish the visual style and creative standards for each series.
- Guide AI video creators on cinematography, framing, character performance, lighting, and emotional delivery.
- Review generated footage and identify scenes or shots that need improvement.
- Maintain visual consistency and quality across episodes.
3. Editing & Final Approval
- Review episode edits for pacing, tension, emotional impact, music, sound design, and visual storytelling.
- Give clear, prioritized feedback to editors.
- Approve final episodes before release.
- Ensure the finished video delivers the intended emotional experience.
4. Production Quality & Efficiency
- Work with multiple AI video creators and editors.
- Help the team increase production speed without sacrificing creative quality.
- Identify recurring production problems and improve workflows.
- Use audience feedback and retention data to improve future episodes.
WHO YOU ARE
- Exceptional storytelling instincts – you understand why audiences feel anger, excitement, suspense, satisfaction, and anticipation.
- Strong cinematic judgment – you know how camera angles, acting, editing, lighting, and sound influence emotions.
- Experience in directing or filmmaking – ideally film, television, serialized drama, or narrative short-form video.
- Understanding of AI filmmaking – you know the capabilities and limitations of AI video generation and how they affect production decisions.
- Strong attention to detail – you easily spot continuity errors, weak performances, awkward cuts, or emotional moments that don't work.
- Clear communicator – you can explain exactly what's wrong, why it matters, and how to fix it.
- Pragmatic – you don't make changes just to make changes. You know when something is good enough to approve.
- Comfortable with fast-paced production – you can make strong creative decisions quickly.
- Excellent English communication skills.
BIG PLUS
- Experience directing drama, romance, thrillers, soap operas, or telenovelas.
- Familiarity with ReelShort, DramaBox, or other vertical drama platforms.
- Experience with AI filmmaking tools such as Kling, Runway, Seedance, or similar.
- Experience leading creative production teams.
- Understanding of audience retention and performance-driven storytelling.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
- Episodes consistently deliver strong emotional impact, hooks, and cliffhangers.
- Screenwriters and AI creators receive clear, useful feedback without unnecessary revisions.
- The team produces more high-quality episodes while keeping production costs under control.
- Finished episodes maintain consistent cinematic quality and improve based on audience feedback.
