Location: North America
Workplace: Remote
At Linear, we're building the product development system for teams and agents. AI is fundamentally changing how software gets built, and we’re shaping the tools this new era requires.
Founded in 2019, Linear has become the platform of choice for more than 40,000 companies (including OpenAI, Coinbase, and Ramp) to plan, build, and ship their products. Today, our team is distributed across North America, Europe, and Australia, and we’re continuing to grow internationally. What unites us is relentless focus, fast execution, and a deep care for software craftsmanship.
Quality is our competitive advantage. Every member of our fully remote team is a maker at heart, caring deeply about the quality and feel of our work. While the industry optimizes for speed and metrics alone, we believe that craft and quality have lasting value. Quality creates gravity — it pulls people toward our team and product rather than requiring us to push. This philosophy drives everything we do, from product decisions to hiring choices.
For this role, we expect robust design skills, sharp product thinking, and the ability to engage in technical discussions. We work in small, autonomous project teams, where engineers are paired tightly with designers to explore ideas, build prototypes, deploy internal builds, and ultimately ship to customers. You will be a key element of projects from beginning to end.
Location & work mode
Linear is a remote-first company, with optional co-working offices in San Francisco, New York, and London. This role is open to candidates based in North America. You can work from anywhere within this region. We value deep focus and async collaboration, with intentional moments to connect in person through team off-sites, optional co-working, and occasional travel.
What you'll do
- Pair closely with engineering and product to initiate and complete roadmap projects, no hand-offs
- Spot opportunities to redesign or refine key screens and flows, as well as smaller quality issues and “paper cuts” as you use Linear
- Create mockups, prototypes, and high-fidelity visuals to communicate ideas and describe their execution
- Guide and inspire fellow designers through collaborative critique of work-in-progress
- Use and improve our lightweight design system components
- Help with hiring new teammates that can elevate our team and product
What we’re looking for
- 7+ years experience designing software
- Courage to ask questions, experiment, and advocate for what you feel is right
- Humility to accept feedback, adapt your thinking, and iterate toward the best solution
- Experience with prototyping in Figma (and beyond with tools like AI, HTML/CSS, Origami)
- Ability to distill problems and feedback, then design clear, focused solutions
- Effective written and verbal communication skills — much of our work is async
What we offer
We're a small, focused team that cares deeply about the quality of our work and the people we do it with. Here's what you can expect:
- Competitive salary and equity
- Employee-friendly equity terms including early exercise in the US and extended exercise windows
- Daily meal and coffee stipend on every workday
- Paid co-working space or desk
- Health coverage (based on country requirements)
- 5 weeks paid vacation, plus local statutory holidays
- 4 months paid parental leave
- Paid month off after 4 years & every 2 years thereafter
- Regular team events and off-sites
- Remote-first with no required commute

About the Role
The Technical Account Manager (TAM) is a deeply technical post-sales role focused on driving successful adoption of Azul Prime within a portfolio of strategic customers. Unlike a traditional TAM role, this position is hands-on and technical first. You will spend the majority of your time engaged with customer engineering teams on JVM performance tuning, troubleshooting, reliability engineering, and architectural guidance. Strong relationship skills matter, but it is technical credibility with developers, SREs, and architects that makes this role successful.
You will be trusted by Azul’s most important accounts to ensure that their mission-critical Java applications run on Prime with the best possible performance, stability, and cost efficiency. And you will serve as the bridge between customers and Azul’s engineering organization, feeding real-world insights back into the product.
What Makes This Role Different
Technical depth first. Expect to spend significant time reading thread dumps, GC logs, and flight recordings — not building slide decks.
Direct partnership with Azul engineering. You will work side-by-side with our runtime, GC, JIT compiler, and tooling teams on complex customer issues.
Ownership of technical outcomes. You own production adoption of Azul Prime within your accounts — from candidate application selection through successful rollout and ongoing optimization.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Account Ownership
Own a portfolio of named strategic customers, with flexibility to engage additional high-value Azul Prime customers as opportunities arise.
Build and maintain deep, long-term relationships with technical stakeholders — SREs, Java developers, platform engineers, and architects.
Partner closely with Sales, Customer Success, and Support on joint account planning, renewals, and expansion opportunities.
Technical Leadership
Serve as the primary technical advisor for Azul Prime across your accounts.
Lead troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and performance tuning engagements for JVM-based applications running at enterprise scale.
Provide architectural guidance on reliability, scalability, latency, throughput, and cloud cost optimization.
Work with customers to identify and qualify candidate applications for Azul Prime, then partner with them through successful production deployment.
Product & Engineering Partnership
Collaborate with Azul’s runtime, compiler, GC, and tooling engineering teams to resolve complex technical issues.
Channel structured, actionable customer feedback into Azul’s product and engineering organizations to help shape the roadmap.
Act as a senior point of technical escalation for high-severity issues within your accounts.
Enablement & Knowledge Sharing
Design and deliver customer-facing workshops, training sessions, and technical business reviews.
Create and maintain high-quality technical documentation, runbooks, and reusable customer-facing assets for Azul Prime.
Share knowledge internally, mentoring peers across the TAM, Sales Engineering, and Support organizations.
Keep internal systems current with account activity, engagement notes, and customer outcomes.
Required Qualifications
12+ years in senior technical roles such as software engineering, SRE, performance engineering, or cloud/platform engineering.
8+ years in customer-facing technical roles (TAM, solutions architect, consulting engineer, or SRE with direct customer engagement).
Strong working knowledge of Java programming and JVM internals — garbage collection, JIT compilation, class loading, threading, and memory model.
Demonstrated experience tuning and troubleshooting enterprise-scale Java applications in production.
Demonstrated ability to perform root cause analysis and apply structured problem-solving techniques.
Strong Linux fundamentals, including shell scripting and performance troubleshooting on Linux systems.
Hands-on experience with distributed systems, public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, and/or Azure), and containerization (Kubernetes, Docker).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for audiences ranging from individual engineers to senior executives.
Based in North America and able to travel occasionally to customer sites (typically 10–20%).
Preferred Qualifications
Deep specialization in JVM performance tuning, GC behavior analysis, and low-latency Java applications.
Experience with observability and monitoring stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, New Relic, Dynatrace, JFR, or similar APM tools).
Familiarity with microservices architectures and modern cloud-native Java deployment patterns.
Cloud platform certification (AWS, Azure, GCP) or SRE-related certifications.
Contributions to open-source Java projects or active participation in the broader Java technical community.
Experience using Jira and Confluence to raise bugs and maintain documentation.
Prior experience with Azul Prime, OpenJDK, HotSpot, or other commercial Java runtimes.
Why Azul
At Azul, you will work alongside a team of Java experts who genuinely love the platform, on problems that matter to some of the most demanding engineering organizations in the world. Our technology powers mission-critical Java workloads at massive scale, and our customers rely on us precisely because we go deeper on Java than anyone else. WHO WE ARE
Notion is the collaborative AI workspace where teams and agents think together https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vkpYpWfEK5s. We're building one place where your knowledge, projects, meetings, and AI tools live side by side, so work is faster, clearer, and less fragmented. Millions of individuals, small teams, and large companies run their work on Notion.
Notinos (our employees) are customer zero in bringing this future of work to life. We care about craft, building things that last, and the belief that great work is still fundamentally human. Our goal isn’t to ship the next feature. Each and every team of Notinos is working to set the standard for how humans work together in the AI era. From building a business’s system of record to making and managing AI agents to automating away the busy work, we care deeply about giving our customers more time for their life’s work.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Collections Experience owns the product experience for Notion’s database block and everything on top of it: properties, views, forms, permissions, and many more features. If you’ve ever typed /database in a Notion page, you’ve already used something our team built.
We’re hiring an experienced software engineer to accelerate our mission to build a flexible, reliable, and intuitive primitive that gives everyone the power to model their work exactly as they imagine— from simple lists to the most complex workflows.
We’re 8+ engineers, designers, and PMs across SF and NYC. You’ll work across the stack in TypeScript, ship features that touch both the data model and the UI, and help shape where the database block goes next.
WHAT YOU'LL ACHIEVE
- Design and ship new database properties and views that expand what people can model in Notion
- Design permission models that hold up at the scale of our largest customers
- Partner with the Agent team to grow what Notion Agent can do with databases, from tool development to eval-driven iteration
- Collaborate closely with product and design on features that are ambiguous up front and require strong technical judgment to scope
- Raise the bar on code review, testing, and technical design across the team
SKILLS YOU'LL NEED TO BRING
- 10+ years shipping production software, with a strong track record of owning features end-to-end
- Fluency with TypeScript across both backend and frontend
- Strong product instincts: you can take a vague problem, propose a solid technical approach, and know when to cut scope
- Experience on systems where data model decisions have long-lived consequences (databases, permissions, collaborative editing, or similar)
- You don’t need to be an AI expert, but you’re curious and willing to adopt AI tools to work smarter and deliver better results.
NICE TO HAVES:
- Experience building database, spreadsheet, or workflow tools
- Background in permissions or authorization systems at scale
- Familiarity with AI/agent tooling, evals, or LLM-driven product experiences

A NOTE ON AI
You don’t need deep AI expertise for every role, but we do expect every Notino to be intellectually curious, drawn to tinkering and discovery, and excited to use AI as a real collaborator in their work. For some roles, AI fluency is a core requirement — when that’s the case, we'll say so explicitly in the qualifications. People who thrive here don’t treat AI as a novelty. They use it to think better, and make their work easier for others to build on.
EQUAL OPPORTUNITY & ACCOMMODATIONS
We hire talented people from a wide range of backgrounds. If you’re excited about this role but don’t meet every bullet, we still encourage you to apply. Notion is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of any legally protected characteristic. Consistent with applicable law, we will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records. Notion provides reasonable accommodations during the application process; if you need one, please let your recruiter know.
Notion is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. We do not discriminate in hiring or any employment decision based on race, color, religion, national origin, age, sex (including pregnancy, childbirth, or related medical conditions), marital status, ancestry, physical or mental disability, genetic information, veteran status, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, or other applicable legally protected characteristic. Notion considers qualified applicants with criminal histories, consistent with applicable federal, state and local law. Notion is also committed to providing reasonable accommodations for qualified individuals with disabilities and disabled veterans in our job application procedures. About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role
The RL Velocity team owns the efficiency and reliability of our RL Science stack - the infrastructure, tooling, and systems that let researchers iterate quickly on training runs. As a Research Engineer on the team, you'll build and improve the core platform that underpins how we do RL at Anthropic, removing bottlenecks that slow down research and making it easier for the broader org to ship better models faster. This is high-leverage work: small improvements to velocity compound across every researcher and every run.
Responsibilities
Build and improve the RL training infrastructure that researchers depend on day-to-day
Identify and remove bottlenecks across the RL stack: debugging, profiling, and rearchitecting where needed
Partner closely with researchers and with adjacent engineering teams (inference, sandboxing, and many more) to understand pain points and ship tooling that makes them faster
Own the reliability and performance of research runs end-to-end
Contribute to design decisions that shape how Anthropic does RL at scale
You may be a good fit if you
Have strong software engineering fundamentals and a track record of building performant, reliable systems
Have worked on ML infrastructure, distributed systems, or research tooling
Care about enabling other people's work and find leverage through platforms rather than individual experiments
Are comfortable operating across the stack, from low-level performance work to RL algorithms
Have a bias toward shipping and iterating quickly, with a mix of high agency and low ego
Strong candidates may also have
Experience with large-scale distributed training (RL, pre-training, or post-training)
Familiarity with JAX, PyTorch, or similar ML frameworks
A track record of operating at the edge of research and infra in a fast-moving environment
Deadline to apply:
None. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
The annual compensation range for this role is listed below.
For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role.
Annual Salary:
£370,000
—
£630,000 GBP
Logistics
Minimum education:
Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
Required field of study:
A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience
Minimum years of experience:
Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position
Location-based hybrid policy:
Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices.
Visa sponsorship:
We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this.
We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification.
Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed. Research shows that people who identify as being from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy, so we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to submit an application if you're interested in this work. We think AI systems like the ones we're building have enormous social and ethical implications. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team.
Your safety matters to us.
To protect yourself from potential scams, remember that Anthropic recruiters only contact you from @anthropic.com email addresses. In some cases, we may partner with vetted recruiting agencies who will identify themselves as working on behalf of Anthropic. Be cautious of emails from other domains. Legitimate Anthropic recruiters will never ask for money, fees, or banking information before your first day. If you're ever unsure about a communication, don't click any links—visit
anthropic.com/careers
directly for confirmed position openings.
How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research.
$500,000
—
$850,000 USD
This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.

We are building AI to simulate the world through merging art and science.
We believe that world models are at the frontier of progress in artificial intelligence. Language models alone won’t solve the world’s hardest problems – robotics, disease, scientific discovery. Real progress requires models that experience the world and learn from their mistakes, the same way that humans do. And this kind of trial and error can be massively accelerated when done in simulation, rather than in the real world.
World models offer the most clear path to general-purpose simulation, changing how stories are told, how scientific progress is made and how the next frontiers of humanity are reached.
Our team consists of creative, open minded, caring and ambitious people who are determined to change the world. We aspire to continuously build impossible things and our ability to do so relies on building an incredible team. If you are driven to do the same, we'd love to hear from you.
*Titles posted to our careers page are updated regularly to best advertise the role and expected seniority, but internally we have a flat titling system with two types of titles: one for individual contributors and one for people managers.
ABOUT THE ROLE
*Preferable to have someone near one of our offices in NYC or San Francisco, but open to hiring around the US for the right candidate.

You are a self-starter who thrives at getting things done in fast-paced, unstructured environments. You have a passion for helping companies build and bringing scalable initiatives across our commercial and other legal workstreams.

You will serve as a strategic thought partner to cross-functional teams from sales to partnerships to marketing and to the Runway Executive Team. Comfort working within a highly technical, rapidly evolving area of the law is a must.

- Dive into the technical aspects of our generative AI products to learn them inside and out, to inform your advice to the business
- Closely follow technical, legal, and policy developments in the generative AI space
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- A J.D. and admission in good standing with at least one state bar
- 3+ years of negotiating complex technology transactions, including 1+ years negotiating B2B SAAS customer contracts on a commercial legal team at a fast-paced late stage private or mid-sized public B2B SaaS company
- In addition to B2B SaaS customer contract negotiations, experience with data privacy, legal operations, strategic IP-heavy partnerships and preferably B2C legal issues are nice-to-have
- Bias for action and a willingness to take ownership
- Growth mindset that prioritizes continuous operational improvement and service excellence
- Experience with scaling business processes globally and operating in environments that have achieved significant scale
- Excitement about generative AI and motivation to continuously learn more about the legal landscape governing a new and exciting industry
Runway strives to recruit and retain exceptional talent from diverse backgrounds while ensuring pay equity for our team. Our salary ranges are based on competitive market rates for our size, stage and industry, and salary is just one part of the overall compensation package we provide.
There are many factors that go into salary determinations, including relevant experience, skill level and qualifications assessed during the interview process, and maintaining internal equity with peers on the team. The range shared below is a general expectation for the function as posted, but we are also open to considering candidates who may be more or less experienced than outlined in the job description. In this case, we will communicate any updates in the expected salary range.
Lastly, the provided range is the expected salary for candidates in the U.S. Outside of those regions, there may be a change in the range, which again, will be communicated to candidates.

Paired is a global staffing and recruiting agency that pairs remote work with top-tier talent. We help individuals from around the world connect with great companies that are looking for their specific skill set. Our mission is to provide great jobs to talented people, no matter where they are located.
We are looking for an absolute weapon of an AI Creative Strategist and Editor. This is not a role for a traditional copywriter or a slow-moving agency editor. We need a "cracked" hybrid: someone who lives at the bleeding edge of AI generative tools, possesses the ruthless efficiency of a native direct-response video editor, and understands the deep psychology of brand world-building.
Your mandate is clear: I own the Shoot Day Scripts and the core vision. Once those are locked and the raw assets (or core ideas) are handed off, you take the wheel. You are a self-contained production pod. Half of your brain is a direct-response killer who thrives in the timeline; the other half is a visionary artist building an aesthetic universe. You take the brief and return with a massive volume of high-converting gold.
What You Will Do
The Handoff & Execution: Take locked Shoot Day Scripts, raw b-roll, and core hooks, and autonomously transform them into a fully built-out ad ecosystem. You require zero hand-holding in post-production.
Hardcore DR Editing: You are ruthless in the timeline (Premiere, CapCut, AE). You know exactly how to chop b-roll for maximum retention, sequence aggressive captions, and manipulate pacing to optimize thumb-stop ratios and click-through rates.
Rapid Hook Iteration: Take one winning concept or piece of raw footage and aggressively chop it into dozens of hook variants (A/B testing visuals, pacing, text overlays, and AI voiceovers) to crush CPA goals and combat ad fatigue.
Organic World-Building & "Art": Generate breathtaking, non-DR organic content designed purely to associate thoughts, feelings, and ideas with our brand. You use AI to create cinematic, highly aesthetic "art" that builds brand aura and commands attention without directly asking for a sale.
Mass AI Content Generation: Spin core concepts into dozens of high-fidelity ad variants using AI image, video, and voice generation to supplement and elevate practical footage.
VFX & Polish: Elevate both raw footage and AI generation with actual VFX, motion graphics, and sound design. You composite, blend, and fix artifacts so the final output looks premium, not plastic.
Requirements
DTC Native & Timeline Obsessed: You actually understand how e-commerce ads work. You don't just edit; you edit to convert. You know Eugene Schwartz/Ogilvy principles, pacing for TikTok/Reels vs. Meta, and how to build a high-converting funnel.
Top-Tier AI Proficiency: Master of tools like Midjourney, Runway Gen-2, Pika, ComfyUI, Stable Diffusion, and ElevenLabs. You understand seed control, inpainting, and prompting at an advanced level.
The "Cracked" Mentality: You operate with extreme speed and autonomy. You experiment, break things, and deliver a volume of output that makes normal agencies look like they are standing still.
Dual-Threat Aesthetic Range: You possess the unique ability to pivot seamlessly. You can edit aggressive, tactical, fast-paced direct response ads one day, and switch to crafting moody, cinematic, emotionally resonant brand art the next.
VFX / Post-Production Mastery: Deep proficiency in Premiere and After Effects (Nuke is a plus). You know how to track, rotoscope, composite, and seamlessly blend AI generation with real-world b-roll.

Replit is the agentic software creation platform that enables anyone to build applications using natural language. With millions of users worldwide, Replit is democratizing software development by removing traditional barriers to application creation.
ABOUT THIS ROLE:
Accelerate engineering velocity and reduce friction in the Replit development experience by stewarding our codebases, tooling, and developer workflows. You will directly impact every engineer who ships code at Replit. By focusing on developer experience, you will act as a force multiplier across all product development teams, enabling faster feature delivery, happier developers, and reduced operational overhead.
The role combines the technical depth needed to navigate a complex, polyglot codebase with the product mindset to understand how infrastructure decisions impact developer productivity and ultimately customer value delivery.
You will also partner closely with the AI team on our internal AI platform — which already generates more than 60% of all merged PRs at Replit — to improve the Agent's output and help shape strategy around the Agent's default stack.
This is an early hire in this area, so you will have agency and have an accelerated career path as the team undoubtedly grows.
YOU WILL:
- Maintain and evolve our codebase structure — a complex TypeScript monorepo, Go services, npm packages, and internal Agentic tooling.
- Own the build and test pipelines and optimize them to minimize build times and improve developer iteration speed.
- Drive code generation and type-safe interfaces across service boundaries (e.g., GraphQL, Protocol Buffers, gRPC, OpenAPI).
- Set the standards for code quality using automation tools such as TypeScript, ESLint, Prettier, and Go linters/formatters — building custom rules and plugins to enforce Replit-specific requirements.
- Streamline development setup and the onboarding experience.
- Work with platform teams to improve deployment processes, infrastructure integrations, and external tooling.
- Keep things fresh and modern in our codebase by adopting and leading migrations to better and faster tools.
- Partner with the AI team on our internal AI platform (which generates >60% of all merged PRs at Replit) to improve the Agent's output and shape strategy around its default stack.
- Help manage dependencies both internal (public and private) and external, including being the face of the company when interfacing with open-source libraries (e.g., sponsorships, upstream contributions).
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript and/or Go and/or Nix.
- Expertise in modern build systems and toolchains (e.g., Vite, webpack, esbuild, Go's build/module system).
- Proficiency with linters, formatters, testing frameworks, and code generation tools.
- Experience managing monorepos or large-scale codebases.
NICE TO HAVE:
- Experience building self-service developer platforms (CI/CD, infra, or tooling) used by many engineering teams.
- Experience with AI-native development workflows — e.g., OpenCode, Claude Code, Cursor, custom agent skills.
- Open-source leadership or community contributions.
This is a full-time role that can be held from our Foster City, CA office. The hybrid role has an in-office requirement of Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
