We are Kolibri Games - a mobile games developer from Berlin. We believe that with the best people, we can make games that players will enjoy for years to come.
Our games have defined the idle genre, and bring enjoyment to hundreds of millions of players all around the world. This is possible due to the talented people who make us who we are. ‘Kolibris’, as we call ourselves, are on a mission to continue making great games and we're looking for new talent to join our team. We strive to offer you a fair recruitment process and a great candidate experience, as well as a friendly environment to work in, with plenty of opportunities to learn and grow.
Senior Unity Developer - Core Game Tech (f/m/d)
We are looking for a Senior Unity Developer to join our Core Game Tech (CGT) Team — the small, senior team behind the technology that every Kolibri game runs on.
Our work spans consulting game teams on technical decisions, investigating problems where nobody has defined the requirements yet, and building the systems and integrations that the games depend on. That ranges from compliance features and third-party SDKs to shared systems, standardization and keeping our engine and tooling current.
You'll work in a small specialized team alongside technical decision makers to have strong impact on all the games across our portfolio.
If you like being the person who takes on the technical problems other teams can't, and you don't shy away from constantly diving into new unknowns, learning new skills and driving topics forward, this role is for you.
Responsibilities
Design and build the shared systems multiple live games with dynamic events and scheduled content for millions of users run on
Drive third-party integrations and keep the portfolio current: evaluate and integrate SDKs, drive SDK and Unity version upgrades, and understand the impact across every game before it lands
Advise game teams as their technical counterpart, driving standardization and winning adoption of shared solutions on the strength of the work and the argument
Deliver compliance and privacy features across the portfolio, such as age assurance APIs, CMP implementations and GDPR data deletion flows
Investigate open-ended technical problems and turn regulations, vendor changes and internal needs into concrete technical requirements
Required skills
(Ideally 5+ years of professional) Software development experience in C# and Unity3D. Experience in non-gaming contexts is also relevant; we value your expertise, so do not hesitate to apply
You have a wide understanding of how Unity works, you are familiar with native implementations, understand backend interactions, and performance investigations are your bread and butter. The most important skill is to be able to jump into the unknown and get familiar
Strong written and spoken communication, and the credibility to make teams you don't sit with want to adopt your solutions
Experience building libraries, packages, APIs or tooling that other developers consume, and an instinct for what makes them adoptable
Ability to plan, communicate, and execute technical solutions in a way that is both understandable for other developers as well as non technical stakeholders
Ability to derive requirements yourself from ambiguous or external sources — regulation, platform policy, vendor documentation — rather than working from a written spec
A genuine appetite for constantly learning new areas of the stack
Desirable skills
Experience debugging below the C# layer into Android and iOS platform code, and profiling performance on mobile
Exposure to compliance, privacy or platform policy work — GDPR, CMP, age assurance, ATT or similar
Familiarity with reactive or async programming and dependency injection frameworks, e.g. UniRx, Zenject, UniTask
A passion for games and an understanding of the mobile market, like F2P and LiveOps
Strong familiarity with using LLMs in different areas of game development to support your efforts and achieve stronger results
Familiarity with Firebase Crashlytics and an understanding of ANRs.

As a Backend Engineer on Coder's Enterprise Experience team, you'll build the features that help large organizations run Coder in production with confidence. The team owns what administrators and operators need to run Coder well. That covers how it scales, how it's upgraded, how reliably it performs, how it's observed and reported on, how activity is held accountable, and how it's secured.
You'll join a cross-functional team of backend, platform, and QA engineers who own the operator experience end to end. You'll ship features from design through production and partner with product and design to solve real operator problems.
WHAT YOU'LL DO HERE
- Build features end to end, from a design you write within the team's existing approach through production rollout.
- Write database migrations that follow the team's patterns for schema compatibility and safe upgrades.
- Build the observability, reporting, and audit features administrators rely on to see what their deployment is doing.
- Build features that keep enterprise deployments secure, following the team's security practices.
- Help investigate and resolve scalability bottlenecks under production-like load, from database access patterns to concurrency in coderd.
- Help resolve backend issues surfaced by Coder operators and administrators.
- Document the features you build so a reviewer and the next engineer do not have to decode them.
- Participate in code reviews, contribute to RFC-style design discussions, and join the on-call rotation.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 2+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Professional experience writing and shipping Go.
- Working understanding of Go's concurrency model, including goroutines, channels, and the sync package.
- Comfortable with SQL, schema changes, and writing migrations.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including surfacing blockers and uncertainty early.
- Solid debugging skills and the persistence to work a problem, and to escalate early when stuck.
- A self-motivated, analytical engineer who enjoys difficult technical challenges.
BONUS TACOS IF YOU HAVE
- (Tacos? If you need an ice-breaker, ask how we say thanks by giving tacos!)
- Experience investigating performance under real-world load, including debugging race conditions.
- Experience with observability, audit, or security features in an enterprise product.
- Experience with major cloud providers, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
- Experience building or operating distributed systems at a meaningful scale.
- Curiosity about the latest developer tooling.
OUR TECH STACK
- Backend: Go, Postgres, Kubernetes, gRPC
- Observability: Prometheus, Grafana
- CI/CD: GitHub Actions
- General: GitHub, Slack, Discord, Notion

What You’ll Be Doing
Lead global finance operations. Accounting and reporting, month end close, financial controls, regulatory reporting, local audit, and regulatory reporting all sit under you. You'll lead a team of 30+ professionals across 15 countries and be accountable for the quality, timeliness, and defensibility of everything that comes out of it.
Partner with the regional C-suite on what's next. Business strategy, exchange listings, infrastructure investment, and M&A — you'll be in the room, and you'll be the one putting numbers behind the options. Capital planning and investor relations sit with you, as do external partnerships that carry a financial dimension.
Price the decisions before they're made. New products, new markets, new licenses. Each one gets a financial evaluation from your team — unit economics, capital requirements, tax and regulatory cost, downside cases. Leadership should be able to trust that analysis without re-running it.
Tighten controls and risk frameworks across crypto and fiat. This is the part most finance leaders haven't done before. Internal controls, SOX readiness, audit, and global regulatory obligations have to work across digital-asset custody and movement as well as conventional banking flows. You'll build the frameworks that hold up in both worlds.
Own external relationships. Regulators, banking partners, payment providers. These relationships determine what the business can and can't do in a given market, and they need a senior finance voice who regulators and bank credit committees take seriously.
Standardize the plumbing. Global finance policies, a single reporting architecture, consistent close and consolidation processes.
Sit on leadership committees at both the global and local entity level, including boards and governance bodies where a licensed entity requires it.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regional financial regulations and cryptocurrency market developments.
What We Look For In You
Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
Deep technical foundation in IFRS and US GAAP. CPA, ACCA, CA or equivalent certifcation
15+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, preferably in a cryptocurrency exchange, fintech, or financial services company.
Strong understanding of cryptocurrency markets, blockchain technology, and digital asset accounting.
Expertise in financial regulations of various global jurisdictions (e.g., NYDFS, MAS, VARA, MiCA, FCA).
Proven experience with financial systems (e.g., Oracle NetSuite) and automation tools.
Strong analytical, strategic, and leadership skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
Excellent communication skills and ability to operate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Experience managing multi-currency operations and intercompany transactions.
Ability to lead and develop teams in multiple jurisdictions and work across different time zones.

Your Purpose
At Bitso, the Software Engineer on the Nexus Squad owns the reliability, scalability, and evolution of our mission-critical pay-in and pay-out systems, the financial backbone that moves billions of dollars worldwide.
You will design and deliver event-driven, high-throughput solutions that ensure every pay-in and pay-out is fast, accurate, and resilient.
Working closely with product, infrastructure, and compliance stakeholders, you will shape the technical direction of a domain where the bar for quality is exceptionally high, resilience is built through continuous learning, and every millisecond of performance matters — for the millions of retail users and the businesses that rely on Bitso to power their financial operations.
Reports To
This role reports to the Nexus Engineering Manager.
Who You Are
You are experienced in Java backend development, with a proven track record of shipping production systems at scale.
You are familiar with event-driven architecture patterns (event sourcing, CQRS, sagas) and have hands-on experience operating Apache Kafka in high-throughput, real-money environments.
You have designed and implemented distributed, fault-tolerant microservices that handle financial or similarly critical transactional data.
You have solid experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred), including schema design, migrations, and query optimization.
You are comfortable with cloud-native infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or equivalent), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines.
You communicate complex technical concepts clearly in English, written and spoken, to engineering peers, product managers, and senior leadership.
You work with a high degree of autonomy and ownership — you identify problems, propose solutions, and see them through to production.
You are familiar with AI-assisted development flow and tools (Cursor, Claude, CodeRabbit).
You have a strong sense of urgency and are comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-stakes fintech environment.
Financial Domain (nice to have):
Familiarity with payment rails, reconciliation or idempotent transaction processing in financial systems is a strong plus.
What You Will Do
Own pay-in and pay-out systems: design, build, and maintain the core infrastructure that processes financial transactions and moves billions of dollars worldwide.

About Xenon7
Where elite tech talent meets world-class opportunities! At Xenon7, we work with leading enterprise clients and innovative startups on high-impact projects across Data, AI, Cloud, and Software Engineering. Our expertise in AI solution architecture and specialized technical talent allows us to partner with enterprise leaders on transformative initiatives, driving innovation and business growth.
Job Summary
We are seeking a high-caliber
Forward Deployment Engineer (FDE)
to sit at the intersection of enterprise AI platforms and executive Finance business functions for our Fortune 100 enterprise client. This role bridges advanced AI platform engineering with direct business impact—translating ambiguous financial challenges into working AI applications, deploying them into regulated client environments, and iterating in tight loops to drive measurable ROI.
Rather than building static models or waiting for formal spec sheets, you will operate as a product-minded technical lead. You will prototype user-facing tools in days, deploy agentic and RAG workflows on top of enterprise data stacks (Databricks Genie), and ensure high adoption across FP&A, Controllership, Treasury, and CFO leadership.
Key Responsibilities
End-to-End AI Application Prototyping & Delivery
Own the full lifecycle of AI solutions for Finance business units—from initial discovery with CFO stakeholders to production deployment, user adoption, and ROI measurement.
Rapidly prototype vertical applications using Streamlit, Databricks Apps, FastAPI/Flask, or lightweight React interfaces within 1–2 weeks to gather real user feedback.
Handle "last mile" execution: edge cases, data quirks, business rule exceptions, and user training to turn prototypes into sticky enterprise products.
Agentic Systems & LLM Engineering
Build production-grade vertical AI tools leveraging Databricks Genie (Genie Spaces, semantic models).
Construct robust RAG pipelines incorporating advanced chunking, vector databases (Pinecone, Chroma, FAISS, Azure AI Search, Cortex Search), retrieval evaluation, grounding, and citation.
Implement LLM orchestration frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex) and apply rigorous prompt engineering with hallucination and accuracy evaluation discipline.
Enterprise Data & Regulated Integration
Deploy applications inside heavily regulated enterprise environments, adhering strictly to RBAC, data residency, audit, and compliance constraints (SOX, GxP).
Connect solutions to governed datasets, semantic models, and core enterprise platforms (SAP, Workday, Coupa, ERP) via secure REST APIs.
Instrument all deployed apps with usage metrics, telemetry, and business outcome tracking from day one.
Strategic Stakeholder Advisory & Pattern Extraction
Work directly with senior Finance leadership (CFO office, FP&A, Controllership) to translate ambiguous operational friction into crisp technical roadmaps.
Extract reusable code components, prompt templates, evaluation harnesses, and retrieval patterns into shared enterprise assets for broader deployment.
Requirements
Experience & Mindset
Experience:
5+ years of hands-on software development and full-stack AI application deployment.
Product-Shaped Builder:
Strong bias for action; comfortable shipping rough prototypes in Week 1 over polished spec documents in Week 4.
Ambiguity Tolerance:
Proven ability to navigate vague business problems without predefined specifications.
Stakeholder Communication:
Outstanding ability to interface directly with senior business leaders without requiring intermediary Business Analysts.
Must-Have Technical Stack
Languages & Frameworks:
Python, FastAPI/Flask, SQL, and UI frameworks (Streamlit, Databricks Apps, React).
AI Platforms:
Direct hands-on experience with
Databricks Genie
.
LLM Engineering:
Production experience with LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, vector search engines, and prompt evaluation harnesses.
Cloud & DevOps:
Deep working knowledge of Cloud platforms (Azure preferred, AWS/GCP acceptable), modern Git workflows, CI/CD, and basic MLOps awareness (observability, versioning via LangSmith, Datadog, etc.).
Domain Competency (Finance Focus)
Solid foundational understanding of core Finance business processes (FP&A, order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, record-to-report, close cycles) and common financial metrics (OPEX, EBITDA, gross margin, working capital).
Nice-to-Haves & Certifications
Prior FDE, Solutions Engineer, or Field Engineer experience at high-growth AI/Data companies (Palantir, Databricks, OpenAI, Anthropic).
Industry background in Life Sciences, Pharma, Healthcare, or CPG enterprise Finance.
Experience with enterprise Finance software (SAP S/4HANA, Veeva, Workday Adaptive, Oracle Financials).
Certifications: Databricks Certified, or Azure AI Engineer Associate (AI-102).
What This Role Is NOT
Not a pure Data Scientist or ML Researcher:
You will not be training or fine-tuning foundation models from scratch; you are applying existing models to business problems.
Not a non-coding Architect:
This is a 100% hands-on builder role.
Not a pure Backend or MLOps Engineer:
You must be comfortable owning the user-facing interface and direct business interaction.
Location: Karachi, Pakistan; Lahore, Pakistan; Islamabad, Pakistan

We are looking for a
Senior Automation Engineer
to join the Infrastructure team. You will independently own agreed outcomes—from clarifying the need with engineering teams, Finance or Security to delivering and operating a useful system. The work includes new development, improvements, repairs and maintenance. There is no traditional on-call rotation; you respond to alerts from your own systems during working hours.
What you will do
Turn an incomplete brief into an agreed result and workable plan. Track cross-team dependencies, explain tradeoffs, raise blockers early and communicate changes to estimates. Confirm completion with the users.
Build maintainable software and cloud/infrastructure API integrations. Handle credentials, pagination, retries, partial failures and repeated execution so unattended workflows remain safe and reliable.
Transform billing, usage and inventory data into repeatable outputs. Reconcile totals and periods, apply agreed allocation rules and make missing or uncertain mappings visible.
Extend inventory, network-policy and capacity automation using existing systems. Retain necessary human decisions and verify the operational result.
Deliver changes through version-controlled code and CI. Understand live state, test recovery and release safely; diagnose failures across code, Linux, APIs, data and networking.
Own monitoring, actionable alerts, documentation and maintenance. Leave systems another engineer can operate, and use coding agents while remaining responsible for design, code, tests and outcomes.
Requirements
Must have
Senior-level experience, typically 5+ years in software, infrastructure, platform or automation engineering. You can explain your own design decisions, implementation and operational results.
Strong production Python, software design, testing, debugging and API integration skills. You can understand unfamiliar code and improve existing systems.
Hands-on AWS experience and solid Linux/networking fundamentals, including diagnosis across host, service, network and cloud boundaries.
Practical SQL and data validation: joins, units, periods, ownership mappings and reconciliation. You distinguish evidence from assumptions.
Safe infrastructure delivery through IaC and CI: state, drift, idempotency, dependencies and rollback, using tools such as Terraform/OpenTofu and Ansible.
Demonstrated advanced coding-agent workflows for real engineering tasks. You plan and delegate substantial work, supply context, run agents without continuous supervision within defined permissions and stop conditions, and independently explain, debug, test and verify their output.
Autonomous delivery and clear collaboration: investigate problems, obtain decisions, challenge unsafe or unnecessarily complex approaches and follow through. English B2 or higher for technical discussions, written decisions and internal customer communication.
Nice to have
Experience with cloud billing or FinOps tooling (e.g. AWS CUR/FOCUS, Athena), inventory or event-driven integrations (e.g. NetBox or similar), network policies, flow monitoring, identity and access management, capacity tooling, additional cloud platforms, OpenNebula, Kubernetes, Go, or self-service systems.
Our environment includes Python, Ansible, Terraform/OpenTofu, GitLab CI/CD, Grafana, and related observability tools. Prior experience with every tool or domain is not required. We value the ability to quickly learn unfamiliar technologies, products, and internal business rules.
Benefits
What's in it for you?
A focus on professional development.
Interesting and challenging projects.
Fully remote work with flexible working hours, which allows you to schedule your day and work from any location worldwide.
Paid 24 days of vacation per year, 10 days of national holidays, and unlimited sick leaves.
Compensation for private medical insurance.
Co-working and gym/sports reimbursement.
Budget for education.
The opportunity to receive a reward for the most innovative idea that the company can patent.
