Scorewarrior is a game developer and publisher based in Limassol, Cyprus. The company focuses on the 4X strategy genre, with an ambitious goal to grow its hit game, Total Battle, to become the No.1 strategy game in the world. Our team consists of 200+ passionate, talented, self-driven, and continually developing professionals who love making high-quality games.
Our product: We are currently working on Total Battle — an MMO 4X strategy game with a deep political system and lots of player interaction. Players take on the role of a commander and need to develop their city, forge alliances, fight against monsters, and conquer other players. We're constantly developing new game mechanics, and the project is continuing to grow.
Our game project has a code base of ~300k SLOC and consists of multiple services running in several hundred instances. The game services are a sharded system for horizontal scaling.
Our team is looking for both Middle and Senior specialists with confident knowledge of C++ and design principles to work on creating new game features for a large-scale multiplayer project with long-term gameplay.
Our team's objective and the challenge they face is to create an outstanding technical design that ensures quality, flexibility, and simplicity in the development of in-game features.
Tasks:
- Design and implement solutions for new game mechanics — based on documentation from game designers, create a technical design and implement it.
- Prepare RFC documents describing your approach and discuss them with the team before implementation.
- Deliver your solution to production and ensure it runs smoothly by monitoring its behavior after deployment.
- Refactor and optimize existing functionality to improve performance, maintainability, and scalability.
- Perform code reviews for other team members and follow team coding guidelines and best practices.
- Create functional prototypes to validate ideas and mechanics when necessary.
- Write and maintain technical documentation for implemented features and decisions.
- Participate in team meetings and discussions to stay aligned on priorities and progress.
Requirements:
- Strong communication skills and initiative.
- 3+ years of experience developing in C++ in a product-oriented company
- At least 2 years of backend development experience (not necessarily in C++)
- Solid knowledge of software design principles and ability to apply them in practice.
- Ability to analyze and decompose complex tasks into smaller, manageable steps.
- Practical experience with network and multithreaded programming
- Practical experience with relational databases
- Proficiency in Linux environments for development and debugging.
- Knowledge or willingness to learn Python for developing tools and automation.
The following would also be to your advantage:
- Having samples of code that you can show us.
- Knowledge of other high-level programming languages (for general awareness).
- Practical experience applying Domain-Driven Design in real-world projects
- Hands-on experience building applications using Akka.NET http://Akka.NET, Microsoft Orleans, or similar actor-based frameworks
We use:
- C++20, Clang, and CMake.
- Boost — only for the library, not for game code.
- PostgreSQL.
- GitLab, TeamCity, Ansible.
- SonarQube, Clang-Tidy, Clang-Format.
- Onboarding, coding conventions.
- Python for utilities.
- Linux.
Our technical developments:
- A library/framework of ready-made solutions for creating game features.
- ORM — allows us not to have to write code for saving to the DB.
- A code generator for a binary RPC protocol and ORM.
- A pub/sub event system for game clients.
- Telemetry that allows for real-time product status tracking (through Grafana).
- An expression interpreter for flexibility in game configuration.
- HotReload environment, with everyday game updates.
- Sync and Async network designs.
- Internal Event System.
- Internal persistent and transactional message system.
- R-tree based world map.
What we offer and our benefits:
- A team of professionals with a passion for gamedev and a drive to make Total Battle the #1 strategy MMO game.
- An excellent remuneration package, including a 13th salary.
- Full relocation coverage for you and your family to Cyprus (Limassol).
- A modern, sunny office close to the sea.
- Private health insurance for you and your family members.
- A monthly pre-school, school, and university allowance for employees' children.
- Lunch compensation.
- A sports and fitness allowance.
- Company-funded personal development opportunities (professional and language courses, books, etc.).
- Bonuses for outstanding results, years of service, marriage, and childbirth.
- Friendly monthly office parties and epic annual offsite company birthday and Christmas celebrations.

Why you should join Fin today
AI is transforming everything—fast. We’re at the forefront, shaping the AI Agent category and redefining customer service with Fin. Soon, Fin will handle the vast majority of customer interactions, setting a new standard for support.

At Fin, design is in our DNA. With 60+ designers across R&D and Brand—and two co-founders from design—you’ll never have to fight for your place at the table. Here, designers lead from the start, shaping products that millions of people interact with daily. If you want to work on cutting-edge AI experiences that push the boundaries of product design, there’s no better place to be.

—you should thrive in open-endedness and ambiguity.
You
don’t obsess over details
—we’re looking for someone who sweats the pixels.
You primarily work on
marketing sites
—this role is about designing deep,
functional
software experiences.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
What you’ll be doing:
Owning
end-to-end design for

exceptional craft and taste.
You’ve shipped product with major business impact.

considered, clear, and easy to implement.
Your peers trust your judgment.
When you push for quality, people listen.
Interview Process
We understand that interviewing for a new role is both time and energy consuming–we aim to be thorough, speedy and transparent in our approach. You should expect for the entire process to be no more than 4 weeks from start to finish. You’ll meet with various members of our team and have the opportunity to fully validate that Fin and the role is the right fit for you.

If you're driven to push the boundaries of product design and have the craft, autonomy, and taste to make a real impact, we want to hear from you.
Unleash Your Potential
When you join Salesforce, you’ll be limitless in all areas of your life. What you’ll be part of
Garner is on a mission to transform the U.S. healthcare system — and we’re the only proven player doing exactly that. We partner with employers to redesign how healthcare works: applying 550+ proprietary clinical metrics across 80+ specialties to a dataset of 320M+ patients to identify the best-performing doctors, then using compelling incentives to steer members to the care that helps them get healthier, faster.
The result is a rare “win win” — better care and lower costs for both members and employers. In just five years, our work has helped over 2.5 million people access higher-quality care and saved $1B in healthcare costs. We recently raised our Series E and have doubled five years running. If you've ever wanted your work to solve a problem that touches every person in this country, this is the opportunity to do exactly that. You'd be joining a team fundamentally reimagining healthcare in the U.S. — and using AI to scale that impact further and faster than anyone else can.
About the role:
We are looking for an engineer who can walk into messy, cross-functional workflows and turn them into clean, automated systems that scale. This role focuses on identifying high-friction operational processes across the company and replacing them with durable, API-driven automation. You will work across IT, Security, Engineering, and Business teams to reduce manual work, improve reliability, and build systems that scale with the company.
This is not a ticket-driven IT role. You will operate with a high degree of ownership, driving initiatives end-to-end from problem discovery through implementation and rollout. You will be part of the Business Technology - Corporate Engineering team and report to the Director of Business Technology.
Where you will work:
This role will be based in our New York City office (in the Financial District). You must be willing to work in the office 3 days per week on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
What you will do:
Identify and automate high-impact operational workflows across onboarding, offboarding, access management, and service delivery
Replace manual, fragmented processes with scalable, API-driven systems
Build and maintain integrations across HRIS, identity providers, SaaS platforms, and cloud environments
Develop internal tools and automation using platforms like Retool, Okta Workflows, and custom scripts or services
Apply infrastructure-as-code to manage and version system configurations
Incorporate AI into workflows to improve efficiency in areas like ticket routing, knowledge retrieval, and decision support
Design and automate access and security workflows that enforce least-privilege and auditability
Own and drive cross-functional initiatives end-to-end, from problem definition through implementation and rollout
The ideal candidate has:
4–7+ years of experience in IT, platform engineering, automation, or similar roles
Strong scripting or programming ability in Python, Go, Node.js, PowerShell, or similar
Experience building API-driven automation across multiple systems
Ability to design and implement workflows that span multiple tools and teams
Experience with infrastructure-as-code such as Terraform or similar
A desire to be a part of a high-performing, mission-driven team that operates with intense urgency, a strong sense of individual accountability, and a commitment to authentic feedback
What will make you stand out:
Hands-on experience with identity and access systems (Okta, SSO, SCIM, RBAC), including implementation and ongoing management
Proven ability to build and scale internal tools using platforms like Retool or other low-/no-code solutions
Familiarity with security automation and orchestration (e.g., Tines), with an eye toward reducing manual effort and risk
Practical experience leveraging AI/LLMs to streamline and enhance operational workflows
Strong understanding of compliance and security standards (HIPAA, SOC 2, HITRUST) and how they shape systems and processes
Focused on driving meaningful outcomes
Able to identify root-cause, system-level issues and design durable solutions rather than quick fixes
Comfortable navigating cross-functional environments with competing priorities and constraints
Operates with urgency while building scalable, maintainable solutions
Defaults to automation and efficiency wherever possible
