Your Role:
Solve some of the team’s toughest technical problems and build solutions that hold up as the product grows.
Partner with product managers, architects, and other engineers on technical approach and planning, contributing perspectives that can extend beyond your immediate area when it’s useful.
Act as a go-to technical resource for complex design and architecture questions, helping ensure solutions hold up against business needs, compliance standards, and long-term maintainability.
Take ownership of the most complex technical issues that come up in your systems, driving root cause analysis and fixes that hold up over time.
Mentor other engineers through code review, design discussions, and everyday guidance, helping raise the technical bar around you.
Bring a high bar to your own code and design work, and help others do the same through thoughtful review and knowledge sharing.
Your Opportunity:
Take deep ownership of significant, technically demanding components, and help evolve core infrastructure so it stays reliable and scalable as the product grows.
Work with a high degree of independence on complex technical initiatives - some of which may touch multiple systems or teams - from design through delivery.
Help shape automation, testing, and deployment practices that raise the bar for reliability and velocity.
Own complex projects from design through delivery, and contribute meaningfully to the thinking behind them - including, at times, decisions that touch the product itself, not just the implementation.
What You'll Need:
BSc in Computer Science or an equivalent degree from a recognized institution, or an exceptional track record in server-side development with advanced technical expertise.
8+ years of professional experience in software engineering, with a demonstrated ability to take on complex, ambiguous problems independently and consistently deliver high-quality outcomes.
Deep expertise in one or more programming languages such as C/C++, C#, Java, Go, Python, with an ability to adapt to new technologies as needed.
Extensive experience building highly scalable, distributed systems, with a strong understanding of microservices architecture, API design, and cloud-native development.
Demonstrated success designing and deploying services at scale on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Strong technical judgment, with experience mentoring other engineers and weighing in on decisions that shape the product’s direction.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver reliably under tight deadlines.
If you’ve reached this point, and you’re still not sure if you should apply…..Just do it! We’re human and we don’t fit a perfect mold. Having diverse backgrounds, experiences and perspectives, that’s a good thing! If you’re coming from outside of the cyber industry - great! If you’re looking to try something new - awesome! All we ask is you bring passion to all that you do, crave creativity and innovation, and embrace the hard work of gaining new skills and accepting big challenges.

— Participating in broader AI governance efforts as an R&D contributor.
— Working with Finance and partners to improve visibility into AI tool usage, spend, and value to inform investments.
— Exploring and supporting autonomous agents to improve planning, discovery, design, build, evaluation, and management across product development.
Requirements:
— Strong practical experience applying AI to real-world problems, building usable solutions.
— Proven track record taking ambiguous problems from discovery through implementation, testing, adoption, and improvement.
— Excellent systems thinking to understand people, processes, tools, data flows, integrations, permissions, and constraints, making trade-offs.
— Strong user and workflow discovery skills to understand real jobs and simplify solutions.
— Hands-on technical fluency building, modifying, troubleshooting internal workflows, automations, agents, or apps.
— Practical experience with modern development tools like GitHub, repositories, pull requests, application hosting, deployment, logging, and troubleshooting.
— Ability to manage work independently: prioritizing backlog, handling dependencies and risks, documenting decisions, communicating with stakeholders.
— Strong approach to evaluation and reliability, defining "good", testing, collecting feedback, and improving live systems.
— Ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams, asking questions, challenging assumptions, seeking expert input, and progressing without close supervision.
— Good judgment on responsible AI, security, access, governance, and knowing when to involve partners.
The role reports to VP of Product Operations and collaborates with Product, Engineering, Design, Research, Data Science, IT, InfoSec, and AI practitioners across Typeform.

Job Scope:
- Own the data platform roadmap - Define and deliver the product roadmap for our data platform — covering data ingestion, on-chain data parsing, metrics frameworks, data-as-a-service, and data asset management — turning scattered data capabilities into reusable platform products.
- Build on-chain data capabilities - Lead multi-chain data ingestion and parsing (EVM, Solana, Bitcoin, Cosmos, etc.). Define standardized parsing logic for transactions, transfers, contract calls, and DeFi interactions. Drive the buildout of address labels, protocol labels, and transaction attribution.

Establish source priority, fallback, and cross-validation mechanisms across CEX, DEX, third-party aggregators, and in-house indexers. Be accountable for data accuracy, coverage, and latency.
- Serve downstream consumers - Partner with business, growth, risk, and BI teams to package data capabilities into APIs, datasets, and self-serve analytics tools that cut the cost of getting answers.
- Data quality and governance - Build monitoring, metric definition management, and incident response processes. Eliminate the "same metric, five definitions" problem.
- Cross-functional execution - Work closely with data engineering, backend, algorithm, and BI teams on requirement breakdown, prioritization, and delivery.
Requirements:
- 5-8 years in product management, including 3+ years on data platforms, data infrastructure, or internal data products
- Hands-on Web3 experience (wallet, exchange, L1/L2, data provider, DeFi protocol) with real understanding of the business and user behavior
- Practical knowledge of on-chain data: blocks, transactions, event logs, internal transactions, and the differences between UTXO and account models; familiarity with the data structures and parsing challenges of major chains
- Familiarity with the token data landscape — the strengths, limitations, and appropriate use cases of CoinGecko, CMC, Chainlink oracles, DEX pool pricing, and similar sources
- Solid grasp of data warehouse layering (ODS/DWD/DWS/ADS), metrics frameworks, and event tracking design
- Able to read and write SQL; can pull and validate data independently
Nice to Have
- Built a data platform from zero to one
- Experience with Dune, The Graph, Nansen, Covalent, Etherscan APIs, or similar tooling
- Working knowledge of Flink, Spark, ClickHouse, or Airflow — enough to hold a technical design discussion with engineers
- Experience commercializing data products or running external data services

- We offer a competitive and thoughtfully structured compensation package designed to align with impact, experience, and long-term growth.

Workplace: Remote
RevenueCat gives app businesses the infrastructure and tools to build, run, and improve their monetization. Since graduating from YC's S18 batch, we've grown into the default monetization platform for mobile.
We're in 50%+ of newly shipped subscription apps, we process $16B+ in annual purchase volume, and we help everyone from a solo developer to the OpenAI mobile team understand and grow their revenue.
We're a remote-first team of 150+ people across 25+ countries, guided by values we actually practice: Customer Obsession, Always Be Shipping, Own It, and Balance.
This isn't the right fit for everyone. The systems you’ll build here manage billions of dollars and touch hundreds of millions of end users, and we don’t take that lightly. You'll be expected to work hard and hold a high bar for what you ship, alongside some of the sharpest, most driven people you've worked with. If that sounds energizing rather than exhausting, keep reading.
THE ROLE
As Senior Product Manager, Ad Monetization, you'll join a small product and engineering team building RevenueCat's next generation of monetization products for app developers.
Ads at RevenueCat are early, but we’re no longer starting from zero. We’ve launched ad revenue tracking and rewarded-ad infrastructure, with strong early adoption. Our next chapter is helping developers earn more from ads: building products that connect publisher inventory with demand, improve monetization performance, and make ad monetization easier to adopt and operate.
You'll report to our product lead for Ads and become the primary IC product owner for ad monetization. You'll own significant parts of the roadmap end-to-end: understanding customer problems, identifying opportunities, forming hypotheses, working closely with engineering and design, shipping quickly, and using what we learn to determine what comes next.
This is still a fast-moving initiative with significant strategic latitude. We're specifically looking for someone who has built ad monetization products for mobile apps, ideally at a mediation platform, ad network, SSP, or similar company serving app publishers. You should already understand the ecosystem well enough to contribute a strong point of view while remaining willing to challenge your assumptions as we learn.
ABOUT YOU:
- You have 5+ years of experience owning product decisions end-to-end. Your title may have been Product Manager, founder, or something else — what's important is that you've been accountable for deciding what to build and whether it worked.
- You've built and shipped publisher-facing ad monetization products for mobile apps, and have firsthand experience solving the product, technical, and business problems involved in helping developers monetize ad inventory.
- You deeply understand the mechanics of mobile ad monetization, including how publisher inventory, demand sources, auctions, pricing, mediation, and measurement interact.
- You understand the incentives of the different participants in the ad ecosystem and can reason about both the technical and commercial implications of product decisions.
- You are excited about RevenueCat's mission to help developers make more money and about expanding that mission beyond subscriptions.
- You have an entrepreneurial mindset and are excited to take an initiative with early traction and help turn it into a significant product area.
- You are sufficiently technical to work closely with engineering on SDKs, APIs, integrations, data flows, and other technical product decisions.
- You have demonstrated the ability to ship and learn quickly, including finding pragmatic solutions to hard problems with many constraints.
- You are comfortable operating with ambiguity, making decisions under uncertainty, and taking responsibility for the outcomes of those decisions.
- You communicate clearly across different audiences and media, particularly in writing.
IN THE FIRST MONTH, YOU'LL:
- Build a deep understanding of what's live today, including ad revenue tracking, rewarded-ad infrastructure, and virtual currency and entitlement flows.
- Spend significant time talking with customers using these products to understand what's working, what isn't, and where the biggest opportunities may be.
- Build strong working relationships with your engineering, product, design, data, and go-to-market counterparts.
- Develop context on our existing strategy, customer research, technical architecture and the hypotheses behind our current roadmap.
- Begin contributing your own perspective on where RevenueCat should invest next.
WITHIN THE FIRST 3 MONTHS, YOU'LL:
- Take ownership of a meaningful portion of the ad monetization roadmap.
- Work closely with engineering to identify the fastest and most effective ways to validate our next set of product hypotheses.
- Ship or meaningfully advance your first product bets.
- Establish a strong understanding of the opportunities, constraints, and tradeoffs that should shape our roadmap.
- Effectively collaborate with senior stakeholders on priorities for the area.
WITHIN THE FIRST 6 MONTHS, YOU'LL:
- Independently drive product discovery, prioritization, and execution across your areas of the ad monetization roadmap.
- Have shipped meaningful improvements for customers and developed clear signals about what we should invest in next.
- Have a documented point of view on where RevenueCat should be headed in ad monetization over the longer term and what capabilities we'll need to get there.
- Have materially improved RevenueCat's understanding of the ad monetization vendor ecosystem, customer needs, competitive landscape, and relevant industry trends.
- Be recognized internally as a domain expert who can help the broader company reason about advertising and monetization.
WITHIN THE FIRST 12 MONTHS, YOU'LL:
- Be the primary IC product owner for RevenueCat's ad monetization products.
- Have shipped products that create measurable monetization value for our customers and establish a meaningful new growth opportunity for RevenueCat.
- Have a credible, evidence-backed view of RevenueCat's longer-term opportunity in ad monetization and a roadmap for pursuing it.
- Have shipped enough meaningful bets that you've also stopped, changed, or deprioritized something when the evidence showed it wasn't delivering the value we expected.
WHAT WE OFFER:
- Competitive equity in a fast-growing, Series C startup backed by top-tier investors, including Y Combinator
- 10-year window to exercise vested equity options
- A fully remote environment designed around autonomy and flexibility
- 4-5 weeks of flexible time off annually
- Paid desk at a co-working space
- Workspace budget and continuous learning stipend

Translate product requirements and business objectives into intuitive, user-centered experiences.

Experience collaborating with developers and preparing designs for engineering handoff.
Excellent written and spoken English.
Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and communicate effectively in a fully remote environment.
Portfolio Signs We Prioritize:
Your portfolio should demonstrate how you think, not just how your designs look.
Strong candidates will ideally show:
Clear case studies explaining the problem, process, decisions, and outcome.
The progression from wireframes → prototypes → final UI.
Experience with SaaS platforms, dashboards, mobile apps, marketplaces, or other complex digital products.
Complex user journeys and product workflows rather than primarily marketing or landing pages.
Strong consistency in typography, spacing, hierarchy, grids, and visual systems.
Responsive design across different screen sizes and devices.
Design systems, component libraries, and reusable UI patterns.
Evidence that products were actually built and shipped.
Clear reasoning behind important UX and UI decisions.

About Vercel:
Vercel is the agentic infrastructure company, freeing people and agents to ship what's next. For more than a decade we've helped builders move from idea to production with speed, security, and exceptional developer experience.
Now we're scaling our products for both agents and people to ship and run software, built in the open and trusted by OpenAI, PayPal, Ramp, Supreme, and millions of developers worldwide.
About the role
We're looking for a Staff level Engineer to lead the design and development of a next-generation Data Platform at Vercel. This is a unique opportunity to architect a foundational system that will power data across our products and business, supporting everything from real-time analytics to AI/ML initiatives.
Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Data Engineering, you'll define the technical vision for our data ecosystem, work across the organization to align engineering strategy with product goals, and build scalable, reliable systems using modern technologies like Kafka, ClickHouse, Tinybird, and Snowflake.
You'll lead from the front, writing production-grade code, setting high standards for design and data governance, and mentoring a team of engineers as the organization grows. If you're excited by the challenge of building scalable data systems that drive product innovation, we'd love to hear from you.
What you'll do
Design and implement a next-generation data platform that supports diverse requirements, including batch and real-time integrations, advanced analytics, and multiple data types, leveraging Kafka, Kafka-based tooling, and additional streaming technologies to power real-time data movement and processing.
Work with engineering, product, and senior leadership teams across Vercel to architect solutions that address business needs, aligning technical strategies with product goals and ensuring seamless data availability and usability.
Define and maintain guidelines for data ingestion, creation, enrichment, and storage, while overseeing data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing (ClickHouse, Tinybird, Snowflake) to achieve low-latency analytics and scalable storage.
Develop end-to-end solutions across the tech stack, setting the example for engineering excellence, and provide mentorship and direction that fosters continuous improvement and innovation in the team.
Partner with Security, Compliance, and Legal teams to ensure adherence to data protection standards, and champion high availability and fault tolerance through comprehensive monitoring, alerting, and incident response practices.
Drive architectural decisions and roadmap planning that ensure efficiency, scalability, and high performance, and evaluate build-vs-buy trade-offs, integrating vendor solutions where appropriate.
Collaborate with data scientists and machine learning teams to evolve infrastructure that supports advanced analytics and AI initiatives, serving as a key contributor to strategy, tooling, and platform enhancements for ML-related workloads.
Act as a key decision-maker for discovering, vetting, and selecting data architectures and technologies critical to Vercel's success, and establish multi-phase strategic roadmaps that align with overall business objectives and drive data platform maturity.
What you need
8+ years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, or related roles, with at least 5 years at the Principal Engineer level.
Proven track record designing and operating large-scale data infrastructures at high scale in a complex, fast-paced environment, with experience across Kafka and its ecosystem (e.g., Kafka Streams, Confluent Platform), ClickHouse, Tinybird, Snowflake, and broader big data frameworks.
Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and associated big data services.
Strong background in data governance and security, and adept at ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and protecting sensitive information.
Outstanding communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders across varying organizational levels.
A leadership mindset, with demonstrated ability to mentor teams, drive consensus, and advocate for best practices across the organization.
A Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
Industry recognition or notable contributions in data engineering (e.g., published works, open-source contributions) is a plus.
