ABOUT US
Ruby Labs is a leading tech company that creates and operates innovative consumer products. We offer a diverse range of opportunities across the health, education, and entertainment industries. Our innovative teams are driving the future of consumer-led products, and we're always looking for passionate individuals to join us. Learn more about our story at: https://rubylabs.com/about-us/
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are hiring an Accounting Automation Engineer to replace manual accounting work across a multi-entity, multi-country enterprise, using Claude Code and agentic AI.
You will use Claude Code and agentic AI, plus Python or JavaScript/TypeScript, to automate accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, month-end close and the wider day-to-day accounting operation. You need strong IFRS or US GAAP knowledge to get the numbers right, because an automation that posts wrong entries is worse than no automation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The goal is to automate the repeatable core of enterprise accounting, with human review kept only where judgment is needed.
Accounts payable
- Invoice capture and data extraction from PDFs and email, using AI where useful
- Vendor matching, coding suggestions, and 2-way/3-way PO matching
- Duplicate invoice detection and approval routing
- Payment run preparation and vendor statement reconciliation
Accounts receivable
- Invoice generation and delivery
- Cash application and bank receipt matching
- Aging reports, dunning and collections reminders
- Credit note handling and bad debt/ECL provision support
Reconciliations
- Bank and card reconciliations across all accounts and currencies
- Balance sheet account reconciliations (prepayments, accruals, deferred revenue, fixed assets)
- Intercompany and subledger-to-GL reconciliations
- Exception reports that flag only the items a human needs to review
Month-end close
- Close checklist tracking and scheduled reminders
- Recurring, accrual, prepayment and amortization journals
- Depreciation runs and FX revaluation
- Trial balance checks, flux/variance analysis, and draft commentary
- Management reporting packs
General accounting operations
- Expense report and employee reimbursement checks
- Chart of accounts and master data hygiene
- Audit support: evidence collection, PBC lists, sample extraction
- Data pipelines between ERP, banks, payment platforms and spreadsheets
QUALIFICATIONS
Two things matter most, and we weigh them above everything else:
1. Strong knowledge of IFRS or US GAAP
2. Real experience with AI coding tools, ideally Claude Code, backed by solid engineering basics
We accept two paths: an accountant who learned to code, or an engineer who learned accounting. Both are judged on the same practical test.
- Hands-on experience building automations with Python or JavaScript/TypeScript (either is fine)
- Daily, hands-on use of AI coding tools, ideally Claude Code, with solid engineering basics, shipping working scripts and agents
- Ability to run local scripts and schedule jobs (cron, task schedulers or CI pipelines)
- Strong knowledge of IFRS or US GAAP, shown by ACCA, ACA, CPA or equivalent, or by several years of hands-on accounting experience
- Experience with core processes: AP, AR, bank reconciliation, month-end close
- Comfort working with APIs and MCP servers, CSV/Excel data and basic SQL
- Care for accuracy, controls and audit trails
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience in multi-entity or multi-currency environments, including intercompany and consolidation
- Experience reconciling payment processor statements across multiple jurisdictions and currencies
- Experience with shared cost services that invoice group companies, including complex expense splits and automated invoice generation
- Experience with an ERP and its API (which ERP does not matter)
- Experience building AI agents and agentic workflows, including tool use and MCP servers
- Knowledge of VAT/GST and e-invoicing rules in several jurisdictions
- Experience with Git, testing and basic cloud deployment
- Prior experience in a finance transformation or accounting operations team
- Additional languages, where our entities operate in non-English markets

You will lead a team of around 10 people (creative producers at junior, mid and senior level, plus a lead designer and motion designers). You will own the creative strategy, the quality of every ad that goes live, and the results those ads deliver. You will also create ad concepts yourself, alongside the team.

You will analyse results in detail, give the team clear direction on what to produce and what not to, and support User Acquisition in growing the brand across every major ad network. You http://network.You will hold every creative to a clear quality standard, keep every ad compliant so our ad accounts stay healthy, and build the systems that keep production fast. - Turn performance data into testable hypotheses and retire underperforming angles quickly.
- Support User Acquisition with high-performing creatives across Meta, Google, Microsoft, Snapchat, TikTok, Applovin, and new networks.
- Deliver structured creative performance reviews to the CMO and User Acquisition Lead.
Quality Control & Ad Network Compliance
- Own quality control: no ad goes live without meeting a defined quality standard.
- Ensure every creative complies with each network's ad policies, keeping ad accounts healthy with no rejected creatives.
- Track policy changes and keep compliance guidelines and pre-launch checklists current.
Team Leadership & Production Systems
- Lead and develop producers across levels, and direct the design team through its lead designer.
- Implement processes and systems that speed up creative production: briefs, templates, workflows, and automation.
- Set output, quality, and testing-velocity standards, and give specific, reference-backed feedback.
- Lead hiring, onboarding, and performance management for the ad creative unit.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must-Have Experience
- 6+ years in performance marketing, producing ad creative for D2C app or SaaS subscription products.

- Experience directly leading and developing a cross-functional creative team, including producers and designers.
- Hands-on knowledge of Meta, Google, Microsoft, Snapchat, TikTok, and Applovin, including ad policy compliance and keeping accounts healthy.
- Ability to read creative-level data independently and build structured testing frameworks.
- Experience implementing processes, systems, and AI-enabled workflows that measurably increased creative production speed.

- Fully accountable for performance outcomes, decisive with data, and comfortable killing concepts, including your own.

- Strong management instincts: sets clear direction, develops people, and holds them accountable.

✨ ONE PLATFORM, A WHOLE WORLD OF OPPORTUNITY
The best jobs have always clustered in a handful of the world's wealthiest cities. But talent is everywhere. Oyster set out to close that gap - building a global employment platform that lets companies hire, pay, and care for brilliant people anywhere.
We're proof that a high-performing culture doesn't need an office. Distributed across 60+ countries since 2020, we've built something the industry keeps noticing:
- Ranked #10 of 250 on TIME and Statista's 2026 list of America's Top WorkTech Companies https://www.oysterhr.com/library/oyster-hr-named-10-of-americas-top-worktech-companies-of-2026-by-time
- Named one of America's Greatest Startup Workplaces 2026 https://www.oysterhr.com/library/oyster-2026-newsweek-award by Newsweek
- A G2 Spring 2026 Leader https://www.oysterhr.com/library/oyster-named-best-roi-for-any-global-employment-platform-for-g2-spring-2026 across Employer of Record, Global Employment, Multi-country Payroll, and HR Compliance
- The only B Corp-certified global employment platform ~ independently verified since 2023
Two of those rankings measured our business impact from the outside. One measured how our own people feel about working here. They landed in the same place ~ because at Oyster, culture and performance aren't separate conversations. They're the same one.
And we're just getting started. If you want to do the best work of your career alongside people who care as much as you do, we'd love for you to apply.

Core Requirements

The Role
Location: While this position is posted in a specific location, all of Oyster’s positions are fully remote and you can work from home. Forever. To create the best experience for our new hire, this role requires you to be based within +4 / -4 UTC.
We are looking for a hands-on Senior Accountant to own day-to-day accounting, monthly reporting, and ERP activities for Oyster entities around the world, with a focus on EMEA coverage. - Prepare and review financial statements and balance-sheet reconciliations across multiple entities.
- Lead month-end and year-end close activities, maintaining clear checklists and documentation.

- Own assigned ERP activities and improve accounting standards, controls, documentation, and automation.
- Proactively coordinate dependencies across Finance, Payroll, Tax, Legal, and external partners.
- Execute ad hoc financial projects and support junior teammates with practical guidance.
Core Requirements
- At least 5 years of accounting experience, including at least 1 year operating at senior-accountant scope.
- CPA (or part-qualified) or an equivalent professional accounting qualification.
- Strong knowledge of multi-entity accounting, intercompany transactions, financial reporting, reconciliations, close, and audit support.
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and manipulation of large datasets.

- Ability to prioritize competing deadlines and maintain quality across several entities.

- NetSuite or a comparable ERP.
- Payroll accounting or SaaS experience.

- You are uncomfortable investigating ambiguous discrepancies or making evidence-based accounting recommendations.

HEALTH CAN’T WAIT.
Not for symptoms to get worse. Not for a six‑month appointment. Not for a system to catch up. But that’s exactly how healthcare works today. You wait, until you can’t.
Alan exists to end the wait.
Health is a universal right, and we believe this right can only become real when it’s coupled with prevention. We need to stop treating health as something we repair and start treating it as something we build, every day. It’s not solely a question of willpower. It’s the healthcare system itself that needs to work for everyone, in a sustainable way.
So we are building the new standard in prevention insurance. Alan is the first company that integrates insurance, prevention, and care into a single, acclaimed user experience.
We are on an incredible journey to build a global leading company, with a unique culture https://alan.com/en/careers. We already partner with 40K+ companies of all sizes, serving more than 1M+ members, and have reached €800M+ in ARR.
Prevention as the new norm. That's what we're building with our team of 1000+ people. If it speaks to you: we're hiring across France, Spain, Belgium, and Canada. And beyond.
⭐️ YOUR MISSION ⭐️
Taking care of our clients is at the heart of our business. Our User Care Experts are on the frontline to answer our members (via chat, email and phone), solve their problems and offer an amazing customer experience.
- Helping our members - Your first mission will be to deal with our members' requests in a meaningful, delightful and timely manner. Your goal is to be transparent, accurate, clear and helpful to our members. After all, we are dealing with a crucial subject — their health — and we are committed to offering them exceptional service.
- Improving Alan - As a User Care Expert, you’ll also have the opportunity to work on projects next to answering our members. The focus of these projects depends on your interest and background. We expect you to help us implement better processes and tools, and to contribute to improving our product. This will involve analysing what you see, identifying areas for improvement and making suggestions on what we can do better.
- Grow and learn - At Alan, we are dedicated to learn as much as we can. It's not every day that you can join a fast-growing company, tackling an obsolete sector by putting the member at the heart of it all. You will become an expert in healthcare and insurance, and help new members of the great healthcare team.
- Pioneering - The 🇧🇪 care team today is still relatively small. However, we have bold ambitions and will grow quickly. You will be involved in building, nurturing and enhancing our care team on a daily basis.
⭐️ JOIN THE 🇧🇪 CARE TEAM ⭐️
You will be a good fit for the role if you:
- Have 2+ years of experience in: a customer-support role; or education; or communication
- Are bilingual English + Dutch
- Have a passion for caring for members, and solving their problems
- Love written communication
- Are comfortable with computers and technology in general
- Have a very empathetic mindset
- Are motivated and entrepreneurial
- Have an enthusiasm for teamwork, learning and teaching
- Bonus points if you know how the Belgian healthcare system works — we will teach you if you don’t. 😉

WHO WE ARE
Notion is the collaborative AI workspace where teams and agents think together https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vkpYpWfEK5s. We're building one place where your knowledge, projects, meetings, and AI tools live side by side, so work is faster, clearer, and less fragmented. Millions of individuals, small teams, and large companies run their work on Notion.
Notinos (our employees) are customer zero in bringing this future of work to life. We care about craft, building things that last, and the belief that great work is still fundamentally human. Our goal isn’t to ship the next feature. Each and every team of Notinos is working to set the standard for how humans work together in the AI era. From building a business’s system of record to making and managing AI agents to automating away the busy work, we care deeply about giving our customers more time for their life’s work.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
The People Team at Notion exists to help build a generational company - one that enables people to do their best and most meaningful work. Hiring exceptional talent, at the right time and with care, is central to that mission.
We’re looking for a Recruiting Coordinator to partner closely with Recruiters and Hiring Managers to create a thoughtful, well-run, and genuinely human candidate experience. This role sits at the center of our hiring process and plays an important role in how candidates experience Notion.
This role can be based in either San Francisco or New York City. We work from our offices on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays (our Anchor Days) because we do our best thinking and building together in person. We’re looking for someone who’s excited to work alongside the team during those days.
WHAT YOU'LL ACHIEVE:
CREATE A CANDIDATE EXPERIENCE THAT REFLECTS NOTION
You’ll be one of the first and most consistent touchpoints candidates have with Notion. From scheduling interviews to answering questions and resolving issues, you’ll help ensure every interaction feels organized, respectful, and intentional. You’ll collaborate closely with Recruiters and Hiring Managers to continually refine our processes—so candidates leave feeling excited about what we’re building, regardless of the outcome.
COORDINATE INTERVIEWS WITH CARE AND PRECISION
You’ll manage and schedule a high volume of interviews across primarily non-technical roles, balancing speed with attention to detail. You’ll anticipate needs, communicate clearly, and keep candidates and interviewers aligned - making the process feel smooth and predictable, even as things move quickly.
BUILD STRONG RECRUITING FOUNDATIONS
This role is designed for someone early in their recruiting career who wants to build durable fundamentals. Over time, you’ll gain exposure to how we plan, execute, and scale hiring at Notion. With support from the team, you could take on light sourcing work, process improvements, and additional ownership as your skills grow - creating a strong foundation for future growth in recruiting, operations, or people-focused roles.
SKILLS YOU'LL NEED TO BRING:
- 6–12 months of experience in recruiting coordination or interview scheduling, ideally in a high-volume environment
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills - you’re proactive, reliable, and thoughtful about details
- A steady, calm approach in fast-moving environments
- Ability to navigate ambiguity with optimism
- Clear, kind, and professional communication skills - you’ll represent Notion to a large and diverse group of candidates
- You don’t need to be an AI expert, but you’re curious and willing to adopt AI tools to work smarter and deliver better results
NICE TO HAVES:
- Experience supporting both technical and non-technical roles, including remote and in-person interview scheduling
- Experience with Ashby, Workday, Slack
- Experience in a high-growth or startup environment
Notion is committed to providing highly competitive cash compensation, equity, and benefits. A NOTE ON AI
You don’t need deep AI expertise for every role, but we do expect every Notino to be intellectually curious, drawn to tinkering and discovery, and excited to use AI as a real collaborator in their work. For some roles, AI fluency is a core requirement — when that’s the case, we'll say so explicitly in the qualifications. People who thrive here don’t treat AI as a novelty. They use it to think better, and make their work easier for others to build on.
