ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re looking for an Accounts Payable Accountant to join our Finance team and take ownership of daily AP activities, including accurate invoice coding, timely payments, vendor support, and reconciliations.
Reporting to our Procurement Manager, you’ll partner with Accounting and teams across Alchemy to keep our procure-to-pay process running smoothly across Zip, NetSuite, and Ramp. You’ll help strengthen existing processes, troubleshoot issues independently, and identify opportunities to improve how we work. This role requires attention to detail, dependability, and proactive communication.
This role will work a hybrid schedule in our San Francisco, California or New York, New York Office. We offer generous in-office food and commuter benefits. Both offices have state of the art gym facilities available to employees.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
DAILY AP OPERATIONS
- Manage the AP inbox, promptly process incoming invoices and requests, and serve as a primary point of contact for vendors and internal teams.
- Review, enter, classify, and code vendor invoices in Zip and NetSuite, ensuring complete documentation, appropriate approvals, and purchase order matching where applicable.
- Prepare payment batches for review and approval, monitor payment deadlines, and follow up on outstanding approvals or missing information.
- Support vendor onboarding and maintain accurate vendor records, including tax forms, addresses, payment terms, and verified banking information.
- Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies, duplicate charges, missing credits, and payment issues; escalate exceptions when needed.
- Review employee expenses and corporate card transactions in Ramp for accurate coding, receipts, approvals, and policy compliance.
CLOSE SUPPORT & SPECIAL PROJECTS
- Reconcile AP activity and balances with the general ledger, investigate differences, and ensure invoices, credits, and payments are properly recorded.
- Support month-end close by identifying unrecorded invoices and potential accruals and preparing supporting schedules for Accounting.
- Maintain vendor tax documentation, including W-9s, and support annual 1099 preparation.
- Follow established approval and payment controls, including verification procedures for vendor banking changes.
- Maintain organized records and provide AP documentation for internal reviews and external audits.
- Support system updates, workflow improvements, and other projects affecting procurement, expenses, accounts payable, and FP&A.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- 2–4 years of experience in accounts payable or a related accounting operations role, with hands-on responsibility for invoice processing and vendor support.
- Curiosity about how processes work and initiative to make them better.
- A solid understanding of invoice coding, purchase orders, payment terms, reconciliations, and basic accrual accounting.
- Experience with accounting or ERP systems and the ability to learn new P2P, payment, and AI tools.
- Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills, including lookups, pivot tables, and reconciling data across reports.
- Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and a habit of checking your work.
- The ability to manage recurring deadlines, prioritize competing requests, and follow through independently.
- Clear, practical communication and a collaborative approach to working with vendors and colleagues.
NICE TO HAVES
- Experience with NetSuite, Zip, or Ramp.
- Experience at a growing technology company or Big 4 accounting firm.
- Experience improving AP workflows or using automation to reduce repetitive work.
- Experience with crypto, digital assets, blockchain, or web3 is a plus, but not required.

About the Role:
We’re building a Finance function that can scale with a fast-growing company, and we’re looking for a Financial Analyst who wants to help build it with us. This is a hands-on role with a strong focus on accounts payable, expense coding, payment operations, and financial reporting. You’ll help make sure invoices are coded correctly, vendors are paid on time, payment information is accurate, and the Finance team has clear visibility into upcoming cash requirements and company spending.
You’ll also help us move away from manual processes wherever possible—using technology, automation, and better workflows to make Finance easier for everyone across the company.
What You’ll Do:
- Own the AP workflow. Manage invoices from intake through approval and payment, making sure everything is accurate, properly documented, and moving on schedule.
- Keep our financial data clean. Code expenses across the right GL accounts, departments, cost centers, projects, and reporting categories so our financial reporting is reliable.
- Run payment cycles. Prepare payment batches and clear, concise payment reports for Finance leadership, highlighting upcoming obligations, exceptions, and anything requiring attention.
- Stay ahead of what we owe. Maintain AP aging and vendor schedules and help Finance understand upcoming cash requirements.
- Solve problems before they become problems. Investigate duplicate invoices, missing approvals, incorrect coding, vendor discrepancies, and payment issues—and own them through resolution.
- Partner across the company. Work with teams across the business to make invoice approvals, expense coding, and purchasing processes easier and more efficient.
- Support the close. Help with month-end AP reconciliations, accruals, expense analysis, and supporting schedules.
- Turn transactions into insights. Prepare reporting around company spending, vendors, payments, outstanding liabilities, and expense trends.
- Automate the boring stuff. Identify repetitive manual work and help implement better workflows, integrations, and automation.
- Grow beyond AP. As you develop, take on projects across cash forecasting, budgeting, reporting, financial analysis, and finance systems.
What You’ll Bring:
- 0–2 years of experience in accounting, finance, or a related analytical role.
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
- A solid understanding of accounting fundamentals, including AP, GL coding and reconciliations.
- Strong Excel and Google Sheets skills, plus confidence working with financial data.
- Exceptional attention to detail—you notice when something doesn’t look right and investigate why.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Clear communication skills and confidence working with people across different teams.
- A high degree of ownership. If something lands with you, you see it through.
- Curiosity about systems, automation, and how technology can make Finance better.

An overview of this role
Data Products integrates GitLab and third-party SDLC data, and builds the dashboards, APIs, and data products that turn it into trusted, interoperable intelligence for customers and internal teams.
This is a 0 to 1 team and we are hiring for a foundational engineering role. That means you bring technical leadership through ambiguity, helping figure out what to build, making the foundational design decisions, and keeping delivery moving while the picture is still forming. You own the full lifecycle of what ships and stand behind it.
What you'll bring
Proven ability to influence as a Staff owning product or platform systems end to end across multiple engineering and product teams.
High agency, i.e finds the owner, clarifies the path, makes the call, and keeps pushing until the work lands.
Force multiplier and raise the people and the codebase around them
Deep full-stack expertise, including strong proficiency in
Go, Ruby
and
Node
.
Depth in at least one of analytics and metrics platforms, graph data systems, CDC and warehouse integration.
Hands-on experience building production AI-powered tool orchestration.
Experience operating multi-tenant systems across SaaS and self-managed deployment.
Direct communicator who builds alignment across teams.
Bias to write things down and make reasoning legible.
What you'll own
Architect how GitLab and third-party data is ingested, modeled, and synced into the knowledge graph as a near-real-time graph of the development ecosystem.
Lead integration with external systems for business context (Jira, observability tools, Zendesk, ServiceNow), indexed into the graph.
Architect the Data Marketplace so customers consume GitLab data through Snowflake, Databricks, and BigQuery with no engineering dependencies.
Publish GitLab observability as OpenTelemetry and broker the data-sharing APIs.
Define operational readiness for everything the team ships across GitLab.com, Dedicated, and Self-Managed.
Translate an ambiguous 0 to 1 problem space into concrete, iterable roadmaps in partnership with Product, Design, and the graph backend team.
Resolve cross-team dependencies across graph backend, AI Platform, and Infrastructure without escalating everything upward.
Mentor senior and intermediate engineers through design reviews, pairing, and code review.
Create organizational leverage through speed. You identify systemic bottlenecks, simplify processes, and design systems that dramatically improve execution velocity.
About the team
Data Products work across three surfaces:
Dashboard and Reporting Framework
Builds AI-native dashboard components so customers and internal teams can see engineering health and GitLab's impact across DORA, VSA, AI Impact, SDLC trends, security, and quality, and launch their own custom dashboards on the same framework.
Internal Ingestion
Ingests third-party data into the GitLab and power tools like Knowledge Graph, building connectors so that signals from systems like Jira, Zendesk, ServiceNow, and observability tools become one queryable, near-real-time graph of the developer ecosystem.
External Ingestion
External makes GitLab and Knowledge Graph data consumable outside the product, through marketplace listings, data-sharing APIs and SDKs, and co-branded partner products.
We are a new team in a highly ambiguous, high-impact space, and we need engineers who can create clarity while building, make practical tradeoffs, unblock cross-team dependencies, and keep pushing until meaningful customer value lands.

As Legal Administrator, you will keep our regional legal operations running smoothly: managing contracts and signatures, corporate entity records, KYC/KYB requests, external counsel coordination and legal document logistics across multiple jurisdictions. You will work with global and regional legal leads, internal stakeholders and external partners across entities and time zones.
The role suits experienced paralegals, legal assistants (asistentes jurídicos), corporate secretarial and legal operations professionals, and executive or administrative assistants with legal exposure.
What You Will Do
Documentation & Data Hygiene
Template and Contract Management:
Maintain, update and organize standard regional legal templates and demand letters in designated folders and within the agreement management system.
Signature Lifecycle Management:
Oversee the end-to-end execution of legal documents, including active tracking, obtaining signatures and rigorous follow-ups with internal and external signatories.
Information Management:
Manage digital filing systems and shared directories, performing periodic audits to ensure strict data hygiene and consistent naming conventions.
Entity Data Maintenance:
Keep a master record of corporate entities (jurisdictions, directors, registered addresses, filing deadlines) up to date.
KYC, Finance, Billing & Vendor Support
Bank and Regulatory KYC/KYB Support:
Support the KYC/KYB processes required by banks and regulatory authorities for the group's own companies, including gathering and submitting corporate documentation (certificates of incorporation, UBO information, director details, proof of address, etc.) and coordinating with internal stakeholders to respond to bank and regulator requests.
PO and Invoice Management:
Handle the end-to-end Purchase Order (PO) process within internal ERP systems, validating invoices against engagement letters and following up on outstanding payments or billing discrepancies.
External Counsel Liaison:
Act as the primary operational point of contact for external law firms on invoicing, billing updates, conflict checks and routine document follow-ups.
Certificate Requests:
Handle routine requests from clients and vendors for certificates of good standing, insurance certificates and similar documents.
Operations, Logistics & Governance
Legalization and Logistics:
Coordinate specialized legal document processes, including public notarization, apostille certifications and secure regional courier logistics.
Regulatory Status Tracking:
Liaise with local and regional corporate registries and regulatory authorities to monitor application statuses, filing updates and compliance requirements.
Contract Repository Reporting:
Produce periodic reports on contract status, KYC completion rates and outstanding signatures for global leads, and obtain those outstanding signatures directly.
What We Are Looking For
A degree in Law, Business Administration or a related field.
Minimum 3–5 years of relevant work experience; experience in a law firm, in-house legal or corporate administration, or in an executive or administrative support role is a plus.
A highly organized, detail-oriented approach, with the ability to manage high volumes of documentation across multiple jurisdictions without anything slipping through the cracks.
Proficient English, both written and verbal (essential); additional languages relevant to the regions covered are a plus.
Experience working in a global or regional setting, managing competing priorities across multiple entities, time zones and stakeholders.
A proactive, self-starting mindset: you chase outstanding items and flag issues before they become problems, without needing to be prompted.
A genuine interest in administrative, operational and process-oriented legal work, with a clear wish to build and grow in this type of role over the long term.
Why Join Aleph
Real impact:
You become the operational backbone of the legal function, keeping contracts, signatures, entity records and bank KYC/KYB requests moving across multiple entities and jurisdictions.
Room to grow:
This is a long-term path into legal operations, a discipline that is growing quickly in Spain, with direct exposure to global legal leads, ERP processes and external law firms.
A collaborative team:
You will work with colleagues and stakeholders across regions and time zones, in a role that rewards ownership, initiative and clear communication.
In line with the EU Pay Transparency Directive, we are committed to fair and open compensation practices. For this role, the minimum gross annual base salary is EUR 33,000.
