Perplexity is seeking a Director of Events to own our external events worldwide: the ones we host, the stages we speak on, and the ones we sponsor. You will set the strategy, run production, manage the budget, and build the team. If you have produced a flagship and a dinner in the same week, know what a good sponsorship deal looks like, and want to build an events function from the ground up, this role is for you.
Responsibilities
- Own events. Hosted, speaking, sponsored. Strategy, budget, production, results.
- Set the calendar. Decide which events we run, which we speak at, and which we skip.
- Produce hosted events. Launches, dinners, summits, roadshows. Concept, programming, venue, vendors, run of show.
- Run the speaking program. Pick the stages. Prepare the speakers.
- Manage sponsorships. Negotiate terms, design our footprint, and account for the spend.
- Run field events with Sales. Get the right customers in the room. Make sure someone follows up.
- Be Perplexity. Our events should look and feel like our product. Work with Brand and Creative on every one.
- Lead the team. Equal parts IC and manager.
- Build the system. Playbooks, event tiers, intake, vendors, agencies, budgets.
- Measure. Attendance, coverage, pipeline, signups. Know which events worked and stop doing the ones that didn't.
- Be on site. For the events that matter, you are in the room.
Qualifications
- 12+ years producing events, including large hosted events, sponsorships, and field programs, ideally in-house at a technology company.
- Has built or led an events team.
- Has owned large budgets, agency relationships, and vendor contracts.
- Has negotiated sponsorships and knows a bad deal when they see one.
- Has run an executive speaking program: selecting stages, preparing speakers, managing the day.
- Knows production: run of show, staging, AV, registration, staffing, security, permits.
- Drives measurement. Has built event attribution and tracked brand sentiment, and reports what each event returned.
- Can partner with Sales, Product, Comms, Brand, Finance, Legal, and executives.
- Power user of AI tools. Most of your work already runs through them, and you can show us how.
- Based in San Francisco or New York. Willing to travel internationally.
Location: San Francisco

OVERVIEW
The Workplace Experience team powers and connects the workday for all Perplexity employees across our global offices.
We are hospitality and experience-driven at the core. We are made up of People people, meaning that we love supporting each other and all of the People in our workplace. We take on the good and the bad with optimism and with a positive, kind approach to solving problems, dealing with the obstacles handed to us, and proactively creating good around us. We think about each moment through the lens of our colleagues (our customers) so that we can create thoughtful and memorable experiences no matter what task we have at hand.
As our Global Workplace Business Operations Lead, you will manage the business operations and cross-functional program delivery that enable our global Workplace Experience team to scale. In collaboration with the Head of Workplace Experience, you will set the operating framework for your areas, make decisions within agreed priorities and approval limits, and remain hands-on in delivering results. You will own the effectiveness of portfolio operating processes and internal project delivery.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Own the Workplace operating framework: Lead annual and quarterly planning for your areas, translate team strategy into priorities and resource plans, and establish clear decision rights, delivery commitments and measures of success. Resolve sequencing and capacity trade-offs within agreed parameters and recommend when to add people, vendors or technology.
- Lead internal capital-project delivery: Take accountability for integrated delivery plans across office openings, refreshes and other capital initiatives. Direct the work of external PMs within agreed scopes, align internal workstreams, resolve delivery issues and hold partners accountable for schedule, cost, quality and operational readiness.
- Own portfolio controls and insight: Establish dependable lease administration, obligation tracking, space and occupancy information, and portfolio reporting. Set data and control standards, ensure actions have owners, and turn trends and risks into recommendations before deadlines or capacity constraints become problems.
- Drive financial planning and performance: Own the processes and quality of operating and capital forecasts, commitments, actuals and variance analysis in partnership with Finance. Challenge assumptions, recommend corrective actions and investment trade-offs, and give the Head of Workplace Experience a reliable basis for budget and commitment decisions.
- Set the systems and reporting roadmap: Own business requirements, governance and improvement priorities for workplace tools such as Envoy. Establish useful performance measures, improve data quality, and automate repeatable work while maintaining appropriate controls and keeping processes practical for the team.
- Lead EHS program governance: Establish a risk-based plan, clear responsibilities and a review cadence with qualified vendors and internal teams. Drive follow-through on assessed obligations and remediation across offices and remote populations, maintain evidence of completion, and escalate material risks without substituting for specialist advice.
- Set standards for delivery and handover: Own the development and use of project playbooks, planning processes and operational-readiness criteria. Bring together design standards and occupancy requirements, and ensure completed projects transfer to local operations with the documentation, training, vendor arrangements and issue ownership needed to run well.
- Serve as a senior operating partner: Lead cross-functional operating and project reviews, surface decisions with clear recommendations, and represent your areas with internal and external partners. Drive resolution within your authority, escalate material changes with options, and build accountability without adding unnecessary layers.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Senior functional leadership: 8+ years in workplace business operations, corporate real estate, facilities programs or a closely related field, with increasing responsibility for complex, multi-site programs and their outcomes. You have operated with substantial autonomy, not only administered plans set by others.
- Project and program management expertise: You are a project manager at the core. You are quick and agile, but methodical when it comes to planning for, organizing, tracking, and executing on a project in a way that keeps everything and everyone aligned and on task.
- Relevant delivery depth: You have a record of delivering office buildouts, relocations or capital improvements as an internal owner, with accountability for scope, financial performance, schedules, change control and external delivery partners.
- Strong financial and analytical judgment: You have experience driving forecasting and reporting processes, challenging assumptions and translating portfolio data into resource or investment recommendations; strong spreadsheet and analytical skills.
- Experience building an operating framework: You have established planning, governance, performance measures and systems that helped a growing function deliver more predictably. You know when structure improves execution and when it becomes unnecessary process.
- Leadership across organizational boundaries: You can secure commitments, challenge constructively and resolve competing priorities across teams and vendors. You communicate risks and recommendations credibly to senior leaders and know which decisions to make independently and which to escalate.
- Hands-on ownership and sound judgment: You can move between portfolio-level trade-offs and project details, deliver through others without losing accountability, handle sensitive information responsibly, and maintain a kind, service-oriented approach under pressure.
- Helpful, not required: International portfolio experience, workplace technology ownership, EHS program governance, or a relevant project-management credential.

Senior Software Engineer - AI & Agentic Architecture
This is a senior individual-contributor role combining deep hands-on engineering with multiple agentic frameworks & SDKs, harnesses, MCP, and APIs, technical leadership, and close collaboration with engineering, security, and product teams. You'll design and ship agentic systems, developer tooling, and reusable platform capabilities that improve productivity across SIE.
What you'll do:
Agentic & AI Engineering
Design, build, and operate production-quality agentic applications using agentic SDKs/harnesses — including multi-agent orchestration, subagent delegation, tool integration, and lifecycle hooks.
Design Model Context Protocol (MCP) tool and resource interfaces that give coding agents/harnesses safe, reliable access to backend systems and enterprise data.
Engineer prompts for reliable structured output (JSON schemas, few-shot examples, validation/retry loops) and build evaluation frameworks to measure and improve output quality.
Manage context effectively across long documents, multi-turn conversations, and multi-agent handoffs; design escalation and human-in-the-loop patterns for production reliability.
Developer Productivity
Configure and extend Codex/Claude Code for team-wide use:
AGENTS.md/CLAUDE.md
hierarchies, custom slash commands, Agent Skills, path-specific rules, and plan mode.
Integrate agentic development into CI/CD pipelines for automated code review, test generation, and PR feedback, tuned to minimize false positives and duplicate findings.
Build and maintain MCP server integrations (project- and user-scoped) that extend agent-native development capabilities across engineering workflows.
Identify high-value opportunities for AI-assisted development and design reusable capabilities that multiple teams can adopt, not just one-off solutions.
Discovery, Prototyping & Production Delivery
Partner directly with engineering teams to understand workflows, pain points, and opportunities through hands-on discovery.
Rapidly prototype and validate new AI capabilities with real users, then take successful prototypes into secure, observable, maintainable production systems.
Own the full lifecycle: implementation, testing, deployment, monitoring, and iteration.
Technical Leadership
Provide hands-on technical leadership through architecture discussions, code reviews, and troubleshooting of agentic systems.
Mentor engineers on agentic design patterns, prompt engineering, and agent-native development practices.
Communicate tradeoffs, risks, and results clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Contribute to engineering standards, reusable patterns, and documentation that help other teams build effectively with agentic development tools.
Requirements
6+ years of professional software engineering experience, including significant hands-on work building and operating AI/LLM-powered or agentic applications.
Strong programming skills (Java, Python, Go, Rust, or C++) and solid engineering fundamentals — API design, testing, debugging, code review, maintainable code.
Practical, production-grade experience with agentic SDKs/harnesses, MCP, and LLMs — tool use, orchestration, RAG, context management, structured output, and evaluation.
Experience designing MCP tool/resource interfaces and reasoning about tool selection, error handling, and reliability in multi-agent systems.
Demonstrated experience integrating AI into CI/CD and developer workflows.
Ability to work in ambiguous problem spaces, evaluate tradeoffs, and make pragmatic engineering decisions.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience mentoring and leading through influence.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated expertise across agentic architecture, MCP integration, Codex/Claude Code configuration, prompt engineering, and context management.
Experience building multi-agent research or customer support systems, or structured data extraction pipelines.
Experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and GitOps in support of AI/agentic infrastructure.
Familiarity with vector databases, embeddings, and AI evaluation frameworks.
Contributions to open-source projects involving AI, agentic systems, or developer tooling.
Strong systems thinking — understands how models, agents, tools, context, APIs, data, and infrastructure fit together as production systems, and can reason about dependencies and tradeoffs across the stack.
A track record of adapting quickly to new AI tools, models, and frameworks as the space evolves.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Understand the needs of the teams that use our platforms and the customers who depend on them. Use product data, operational feedback, and recurring quality issues to identify the highest-impact problems, and then solve them.
- Turn recurring needs into shared services, tools, and workflows that reduce duplicated work. Exercise judgment about when to build a reusable capability, use an existing solution, or take a simpler approach.
- Work directly with product, engineering, and operational teams to understand their workflows, identify recurring problems, and anticipate the capabilities they will need next.
- Prioritize platform investments across new product enablement, reliability, efficiency, and technical debt. Make clear tradeoffs between near-term delivery and long-term flexibility.
- Define and track success through business impact, reliability, cost to serve, and reduced manual work, connecting these measures to customer and business outcomes.
- Partner closely with engineering on technical tradeoffs, build-versus-buy decisions, and rollout plans. Write clear requirements and drive delivery from problem definition through launch and iteration.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience owning product strategy and execution on technical products and platforms, or shared systems used by multiple teams such as billing and monetization, identity and access, developer platforms, data and experimentation, internal tooling, support, etc.
- Strong technical fluency. You can reason about APIs, data flows, system dependencies, and failure modes, and work closely with engineers on consequential tradeoffs.
- Strong analytical skills. You can investigate problems independently, define meaningful metrics, and evaluate the impact of platform investments.
- Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to align teams around priorities and make difficult decisions when their needs compete.
- High ownership and sound judgment in a fast-moving environment. You are comfortable moving between long-term strategy and hands-on execution without adding unnecessary process.
- A focus on customer outcomes and product quality, including when your immediate users are internal teams.
WHERE THIS PERSON NEEDS TO SPIKE
- Systems thinker, detail-oriented, problem solver. This person needs to have experience wrangling thorny, complex problems. We need someone that is excited about diving into messy workflows, reading through dozens of support tickets, thinking through edge cases no one’s thought of, assuming different behavior across platforms, proactively considering enterprise vs. consumer workflows, etc.
- Experience working on platforms with multiple stakeholders and non-trivial tradeoffs. This person is building products simultaneously for customers, agents, and other internal employees.
- Is “AI-native.” Can build AI products whose outputs require evaluation, safeguards, and human-in-the-loop design.
- Strong analytical skills and experience defining metrics in ambiguity, breaking down workflows, and using quantitative and qualitative evidence to prioritize.
- Some experience working on critical software: support platforms/agents, legal/compliance tooling, identity and account tooling, billing, fraud, trust-and safety, etc.
- High-ownership. This person needs to feel dissatisfied by the current support flow, and hungry to do whatever it takes to clear the backlog.

But what really sets OnePay apart is how we move. Our customers don’t have time to wait… and neither do we. This place moves fast, and we’re looking for people who are:
- Ready to run
- Hungry and driven by urgency
- Exceptional at what they do, with low ego
- Comfortable operating in motion
THE ROLE
As a Quality Platform Engineer at OnePay, your work will directly shape how confidently every engineering team ships to production, building the internal tooling that catches problems before they reach customers of a financial platform millions of people trust. You will:
- Design and own shared automation frameworks used by engineering teams across web, mobile, and backend services
- Build and maintain infrastructure that runs automated suites reliably at scale, including flaky-test detection and triage tooling
- Partner with engineering teams to raise coverage and testing maturity, embedding quality practices into the development workflow rather than bolting them on afterward
- Develop platform for test environment provisioning, data management, and parallelized execution to keep feedback loops fast
- Define quality standards, provide observability (coverage, pass rates, run times), and maintain documentation and best practices to help engineers write and maintain effective automated tests
YOU BRING
- 5+ years of professional experience in frontend/backend/platform engineering with a strong testing focus
- Proficiency in TypeScript/Node.js or similar languages, with experience architecting test frameworks rather than just writing test cases
- Experience with cloud-native infrastructure (Kubernetes, AWS) and containerized test environments
- Familiarity with testing across the stack: API/integration testing, end-to-end testing for web and mobile (e.g., React Native)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, able to influence testing practices across multiple engineering teams
- Drive and proactivity - everyone here is a builder and executor
TOOLS WE USE
We use Typescript front to back, with node and NestJS frameworks for server code and React Native for our iOS, Android, and Web clients. We run on a highly distributed cloud-native stack with Kubernetes and AWS, and scale and resiliency are at the heart of everything we build. We also embrace agentic development, so engineers have their choice of a variety of models and agent harnesses, including Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, and more to fit their workflow. While you don't need experience with our exact stack, familiarity with modern software engineering practices will help you ramp up quickly.
WHAT WE OFFER
- Competitive base salary, stock options, and health benefits from Day 1
- 401(k) plan with company match
- Remote-friendly (US), flexible time off (FTO), and opportunities for growth
- A high-growth, mission-driven, inclusive culture where your work has real impact

THE ADVENTURE AHEAD 🚀
Our Salesforce team is at the center of how Docebo sells, renews, and serves customers. We're investing in how it operates, and this is a net-new role we're adding to lead that change. We have strong senior technical talent on the team — what we're adding is a product owner who can set direction, manage stakeholders, and give that talent well-scoped work to build.
You'll own the backlog and the priorities. You'll define the intake and process the team runs on. And you'll work shoulder-to-shoulder with our senior architects and admins as an advisor and partner — not to out-engineer them, but to make sure the team is solving the right problems in the right order, with the business bought in.
THE DAY-TO-DAY 🛠️
- The product backlog and priorities. Turn business needs into clear problem statements, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Prioritize with stakeholders so the team always knows what's next and why.
- Stakeholder management. Be the connective tissue between the Salesforce team and the business — Revenue Operations, Marketing, and Finance. Manage expectations, negotiate trade-offs, and bring the team into solution design early instead of receiving pre-baked requests.
- Process and ways of working. Define and stand up how the team intakes, prioritizes, and delivers work. Set the standard for a good request and make it stick, so work enters the team ready to build.
- Partnership with senior technical leads. Work with the team's architects and admins as an advisor and thought partner. You bring the product and process lens; they own the technical design. Together you keep the org healthy and the roadmap realistic.
- AI-driven innovation. Champion how the team uses AI to work smarter — from AI-assisted ticket triage and intake scoring to identifying where automation and AI can improve how Docebo runs on Salesforce.
- A seat at the table. Represent the Salesforce team when the business evaluates new tools, so decisions that affect the platform are made deliberately, not discovered later.
YOUR SUPERPOWERS ⚡
- Platform Depth: Proven experience as a Salesforce Architect, Senior Admin, or Business Analyst with the hands-on expertise needed to speak fluent platform and earn instant respect with technical leads.
- Product Ownership Mastery: Strong track record of running backlogs, scoping airtight requirements, prioritizing high-value features, and confidently saying "no" with strategic reasoning.
- Stakeholder Diplomacy: Exceptional ability to align competing business priorities across departments, negotiate trade-offs with senior leadership, and keep everyone bought into the plan.
- Process Architecture: Demonstrated success building lightweight, effective operating frameworks that bring structure and clarity to team workflows without adding bureaucratic bloat.
- Impactful Communication: Talent for translating technical complexities into business-friendly language for executives while keeping developers clear on the mission and priorities.
- AI-Forward Mindset: Natural curiosity and drive to leverage emerging AI solutions to optimize team operations and CRM efficiency.
- Governance Savvy: Deep comfort navigating regulated environments, including SOX controls, structured deployment schedules, and strict UAT standards.
BONUS POINTS 🌟
- Certified Expertise: Holding active Salesforce certifications (e.g., Administrator, Platform App Builder, or Architect track credentials).
- RevOps Synergy: Direct experience acting as the designated product owner partnering with a fast-paced Revenue Operations organization.
- Revenue Cloud Knowledge: Hands-on familiarity with Salesforce Revenue Cloud (CPQ/Billing) or leading complex billing system migrations.
- Applied AI Experience: Practical background implementing AI-driven workflows or tools within CRM or delivery environments.

About Niantic Spatial
AI has learned from almost everything online, but it still struggles with the physical world, where 99.5% of economic activity happens. It doesn’t know where things are, how spaces fit together, or what changes over time.
That’s one of the biggest unsolved problems in AI, and it’s the one we’re solving at Niantic Spatial. We build spatial AI models and services so people and machines can reason, learn and act safely in the physical world. We turn camera imagery, video, sensor data and archives into accurate, AI-readable representations of real places that robots can train in and machines can use to know exactly where they are.
In physical AI, mistakes have real consequences. That’s why we build AI grounded in measured reality, not guesswork, so the people and machines relying on it can trust it to get things right.
Our team built some of the world’s most widely used maps. Now we’re building something bigger: a living, measured record of the real world that machines can query, learn from and use to understand how places change over time. If you want to help AI understand the world we actually live in, come build with us.
About the Role
Niantic Spatial makes the physical world computable, helping people and machines collaborate safely by aligning how they understand reality. One of the fundamental problems we're helping autonomy teams and engineers overcome is the sim-to-real gap for visual-spatial understanding. We're applying our team's decades of experience encoding the world precisely as it is at Google Maps, Google Earth, and Niantic Labs to build the scalable real-to-sim stack for embodied AI.
We're looking for a Staff Engineer, Robot Learning to lead engineering for our real-to-sim product within the Embodied AI group. One of the fundamental problems facing autonomy teams is the sim-to-real gap in visual-spatial understanding, and we're applying decades of experience encoding the world precisely as it is to build the scalable real-to-sim stack for embodied AI.
Working alongside the group's General Manager and Product leader, you'll inform the roadmap, own the technical requirements our researchers and engineers build against, and personally prototype and evaluate the changes you propose. You've lived the problems our customers are solving: you've trained and deployed embodied AI systems, seen where and why simulation fails to predict real-world performance, and worked through the consequences.
This is not a role for someone who wants to manage and not ship, or someone who wants to ship without ownership of commercial consequences. This is a role for an entrepreneurial tech lead who loves to build and is energized by helping those around them do the best work of their lives. You have a co-founder mentality. You may have been part of a founding team before, or want to start your own business one day.
What You'll Do
- Sharpen the Roadmap - Bring first-hand knowledge of customer pain, existing solutions, and the value of doing better to roadmap decisions, and help focus effort on the most consequential problems to solve.
- Own the Technical Requirements - Guide the team to design the real-to-sim stack pragmatically. Make the final recommendation on what to build, integrate, and simplify, ensuring capabilities work within customers' existing training and evaluation workflows.
- Benchmark the Impact - Working with our Real-World Test Lab, design and run reproducible evaluations that measure the impact of our real-to-sim stack on policy transfer and real-world performance against customers' existing approaches.
- Build and Ship - Lead engineering delivery and personally build critical features. Keep scope tight, remove blockers, and get performant capabilities into customers' hands quickly.
- Raise the Technical Bar - Set a high bar for the team's work and deepen its understanding of robotics development and deployment, driving incremental improvement every week.
What You'll Bring
- Experience training, evaluating, and deploying robot policies in systems used by enterprise or government customers, with responsibility for performance in real operating conditions.
- Deep practical experience using simulation for policy training or evaluation, including tools such as NVIDIA Isaac Sim, Isaac Lab, MuJoCo, or equivalent. You have diagnosed sim-to-real failures and understand when greater fidelity improves outcomes.
- Hands-on experience with reinforcement learning, imitation learning, or both, and with deep-learning frameworks such as PyTorch.
- A practical understanding of how visual perception and 3D scene representations affect robotics training, evaluation, and real-world performance.
- Experience running experiments on real robots, from an ambiguous hypothesis through to defensible results.
- Strong Python and C++ skills, with experience building reliable production software.
- A bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
Nice to Have
- You've authored or maintained a public robotics benchmark.
- You've helped take an early product to repeatable adoption across multiple customers.
- You've built or substantially extended robotics simulation infrastructure, including scene authoring, domain randomization, or large-scale training and evaluation.
- You've trained and deployed vision-based navigation or mobility policies, particularly in varied, unstructured environments.
- You've built pipelines that turn real-world reconstructions into simulation-ready environments.
Competencies
- Always Learning. Staying on top of the latest academic breakthroughs and commercial advancements, particularly in real-to-sim-to-real.
- Relentless bias for action. You make decisions and ship as if the company’s success depends on it, because it does. You set the pace, and drive the people around you to rise to it.
- Intellectually honest. You know there’s just one job that underpins every other in a startup: find the truth. You are relentless in your pursuit of it, including when it challenges your own convictions, and you raise concerns when you see them — even when it's uncomfortable, and especially when it's unpopular.
- Pragmatic. You have no patience for not-invented-here syndrome and analysis paralysis. You find the fastest path to delivering customer value without going through one-way doors that undermine future scaling.
- Confident and credible with customers. You can sit alongside an autonomy engineer and help them get to the root of their problems. You are comfortable speaking to customers and bring commercial nous to those discussions.
Compensation & Benefits
The expected salary range for this role is $270,000 – $300,000 per year. Compensation also includes an annual bonus, equity, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k), and more.
Location & Work Model
This role is based in our San Francisco office, with three days per week in office.
Inclusive Application
We know the strongest candidates don't always tick every box. If you're excited about this role and believe you could do it well, we encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't match every qualification listed - you may be exactly who we're looking for.
Equal Opportunity
Niantic Spatial is an equal opportunity employer. About WorkOS 🚀
WorkOS builds modern developer tools and APIs that make it easy for companies to become Enterprise Ready. Our platform powers authentication, identity, authorization, and other critical infrastructure that developers need to securely scale their products to large organizations.
We recently raised a $100M Series C, valuing the company at $2B, led by Meritech and Sapphire with participation from Greenoaks, Craft, Abstract, and Audacious. WorkOS powers enterprise features for many of the fastest-growing AI companies, including OpenAI, Cursor, and Perplexity, Sierra, and Plaid.
As AI reshapes software, WorkOS is at the frontier of Human and Agent Authentication, Identity, and Access Control helping companies answer a new critical question: who are your agents, and what are they allowed to do? Our fast-growing customer base includes hundreds of modern software companies building the next generation of enterprise-ready products.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re hiring an experienced Engineering Manager to lead Dashboard, the team helping customers get more value from the WorkOS suite and helping WorkOS grow as a business. We’re looking for a leader who is excited to manage engineers, but approaches the role as a startup founding member would.
You’ll lead engineers working across customer onboarding and growth, billing and monetization, and AI assistance in the WorkOS dashboard. The team’s work connects the customer journey from signup and integration through production and expansion. You’ll partner closely with design, go-to-market, finance, and other engineering teams to make that journey simpler and more effective.
This role offers meaningful autonomy to shape what we build and why. It’s a great fit for a strong product thinker who enjoys working closely with product managers and taking the lead on product decisions when the opportunity calls for it. You’ll have room to identify customer problems, propose new directions, and carry ideas from discovery through launch, with ownership of the outcomes. If you’re excited by the chance to combine engineering leadership with product judgment, there’s a lot to build here.
You’ll also drive technical strategy, empower your team to execute on projects with a direct impact on customer success and the business, and play a pivotal role in scaling the team and recruiting exceptional engineers.
WHAT YOUR TEAM WILL BUILD
- Growth and onboarding: help developers move from signing up to integrating and running WorkOS in production. Improve onboarding and next steps, and work with go-to-market teams on timely outreach informed by product signals.
- Billing and monetization: build annual-credit capabilities, make billing more reliable and automated, and give customers clearer pricing, usage, and credit information in the dashboard.
- AI assistance for developers: bring the Dashboard Agent, WorkOS MCP server, Ask WorkOS, and Support Bot into a coordinated experience, with shared retrieval, evaluations, and quality standards. Help developers get useful, consistent answers and make progress with WorkOS.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build and lead a high-velocity team that ships product fast and with polish across growth, monetization, and developer assistance.
- Be deeply technical and hands-on: read the PRs, write prototypes, and work with technical leads on architecture and project scope.
- Shape the roadmap in close partnership with product managers, design, go-to-market, finance, and engineering. Bring your own product perspective, identify opportunities, and drive product decisions directly where needed—from defining the problem and choosing an approach to measuring the outcome.
- Help the team improve the customer journey from signup to production and expansion, using product signals and customer feedback to choose what to build next.
- Balance rapid product iteration with the reliability and correctness customers need from billing and the quality they expect from AI assistance.
- Push for clarity, focus, and high energy in every sprint. Drive urgency without burning people out.
- Spend time with customers and engineers alike—digging into pain points, testing assumptions, and improving the craft.
- Coach, mentor, and grow a team of curious, driven engineers through direct feedback, clear goals, and meaningful ownership.
- Partner with recruiting to attract, hire, and retain exceptional engineering talent.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Track record of having successfully led product-focused engineering teams in high-performing organizations that shipped real impact.
- You've written code at a high level, and you still love to get your hands dirty. You view leadership as an amplifier, not a step back.
- Bias for action and scrappiness: You don’t over-optimize for process. You optimize for velocity, customer value, and learning.
- You deeply care about the developer experience. You think about UX, APIs, performance, edge cases, and joy.
- You ask "why" obsessively, and you push yourself (and your team) to learn constantly.
- You build trust, give direct feedback, and create space for engineers to thrive.
- You have experience partnering with internal recruiting teams to drive effective and fair hiring processes. You realize that recruiting is a large and important part of your role, and have a track record of recruiting, hiring, and mentoring top engineering talent.
- You’re a strong product thinker who connects customer needs, technical possibilities, and business outcomes. You collaborate well with product managers and are comfortable driving product decisions yourself, using customer insight and evidence to make tradeoffs and build alignment.
Experience with onboarding and growth, billing systems, or customer-facing AI products is especially relevant. You do not need prior experience in all three areas.
