We build the foundation for agent engineering in the real world, helping developers move from prototypes to production-ready AI agents that teams can rely on. We began as widely adopted open-source tools and have grown to also offer a platform for building, evaluating, deploying, and operating agents at scale. With $125M raised at Series B from IVP, Sequoia, Benchmark, CapitalG, and Sapphire Ventures, we’re at a stage where we’re continuing to develop new products, growth is accelerating, and all team members have meaningful impact on what we build and how we work together. LangChain is a place where your contributions can shape how this technology shows up in the real world. Today, our platform includes LangSmith (Observability, Evaluation, Deployment, Fleet, and Sandboxes), our open source frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, and Deep Agents), and the newly launched LangSmith Engine for autonomous agent improvement. We have 100M+ monthly open source downloads, 6,000+ active LangSmith customers, and 5 of the Fortune 10 use LangSmith in production (+ 35% of the Fortune 500 overall), including teams at Klarna, Clay, Coinbase, Workday, Lyft, Cloudflare, Harvey, Rippling, Vanta, LinkedIn, Monday.com, Nvidia, and Bridgewater. ABOUT THE TEAM The LangSmith team owns and builds LangChain's core platform for observability, evaluation, and production reliability of AI systems. In this role you will be building the backend systems that power LangChain’s observability and evals platform. You will work on the core services that allow developers to monitor and evaluate their AI applications at scale. WHAT YOU'LL BRING - 5+ years of professional experience in backend engineering working on highly complex products - Proficiency in one or more backend languages/frameworks, ideally Python or Go - Strong understanding of API design and building reliable data services. - Experience with high-throughput or mission-critical systems. - Demonstrated ability to optimize backend services for performance and reliability. - Experience with database systems (Postgres, Redis, Clickhouse), and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) - Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally - Customer centricity and ownership mentality Compensation Annual salary range: $180,000- $240,000 Compensation Philosophy: We offer competitive compensation that includes base salary, variable compensation for relevant roles, meaningful equity, benefits, and perks. We are hiring for this role across a range of scope, and the compensation band reflects that. Your offer depends on what we learn about your impact, craft, leadership, and communication during the interview process. We will tell you early where you’re tracking and talk comp with you before offer stage. Team members in the EU, UK, and APAC receive locally competitive benefits aligned with regional norms and regulations. BENEFITS Benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage, flexible vacation, a 401(k) plan, meals on in-office days in the US and more.

Location: United States (Remote) Workplace: Remote About Teleport Don't wait for the future of infrastructure. Be part of it. Teleport is the AI Infrastructure Identity Company. We're solving one of the hardest problems in security: giving every human, machine, workload, and AI agent a cryptographically secured identity, improving engineering velocity while maintaining security. We make trusted computing simple. This gives you the freedom, power, and autonomy to build and innovate with confidence. Remote-first and globally distributed, we work with companies like Nasdaq, DoorDash, and Elastic to secure infrastructure for an AI world. ABOUT THE ROLE Teleport Cloud takes our traditionally open-source and enterprise access plane and provides a SaaS option for our customers to adopt. As such, our team is building our production and software as a service infrastructure from scratch. We tackle the hard problems that allow our customers to trust us for secure and reliable access to their infrastructure. Excellent security is table stakes; a security breach can compromise our customers' infrastructure. We must also balance security with maintaining productivity and building a compelling product offering for our customers. Most of the code you will write will be written in Go. We strongly encourage you to explore our GitHub Repo https://github.com/gravitational to get a taste of what we are building. Important information - We require to be in-person in our Oakland, CA, office for the onboarding week. - We conduct background checks. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Re-engineer the core teleport product to scale globally and optimize routing latency for teams distributed around the world - Re-write portions of the core Teleport product to enable our goals for the cloud product - Build out our monitoring and observability stack to alert us to production issues and minimize false positives so we can all get a good sleep at night - Work on automation to tackle and eliminate the highest toil activities - Execute on traditional operation challenges, such as patching, scaling, backup and restore, disaster recovery, and more - Investigate the outages and incidents our customers experience with our product - Participate in the on-call rotation to ensure 24/7/365 system uptime. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR - Willingness to collaboratively work with Teleports’ engineers on coding challenge in Go https://github.com/gravitational/careers/blob/main/challenges/sre/challenge.md as part of the interview process. - 8+ years of progressive experience in Software Engineering and/or SRE/DevOps roles. - Strong experience in Linux systems, networking, containers, and troubleshooting. - Have solid Go and production Kubernetes development experience. - Technical leadership experience. - Strong experience developing scripts, automation, submitting patches to the product codebase, or building tooling that incorporates AI agents into operational workflows. - AWS Cloud experience is preferred, GCP experience is acceptable. - Systems Observability tools: Prometheus, Grafana, Loki etc. - Operate and support the observability platform to maintain visibility and reliability. - Experience operate in a team where sound security choices are critical, and where reasoning about correctness and system invariants (e.g. formal or property-based methods) is valued. - Intellectual curiosity and a willingness to master new technologies. - Transparency, honesty, and a no-ego mindset. - Excellent communication skills. HOW WE HIRE Our process is designed to be straightforward and respectful of your time. We skip performative rounds and focus on what matters: understanding how you think and what you can do. For this role, we use a take-home challenge that mirrors real work at Teleport — on your time, your way. You'll have support from the team throughout. 1. Zoom meeting with a Teleport recruiter. You’ll learn about the company, our products, compensation philosophy, interview process, and key requirements. 2. Zoom meeting with the Hiring Manager or a Lead Engineer. They will walk you through the coding challenge and answer your questions. 3. Coding challenge collaboration. The day after your meeting with the Hiring Manager or Lead Engineer, you join a Slack channel and complete a coding challenge in Go https://github.com/gravitational/careers/blob/main/challenges/sre/challenge.md using GitHub. The challenge usually takes about 2 weeks and ends with a Zoom meeting with the Hiring Manager and a member of the interview team to review your solution. 4. If your challenge solution meets our bar, you'll receive an offer to join Teleport. Why Teleport You're joining a company where the problem is real, the team is small, and your work shows up directly in the product. We're not a big company, you won't get lost in a crowd. You'll have the freedom and autonomy to do what you're great at, alongside teammates who care about doing it right and want to see you succeed. The work is collaborative, there's real room to grow, and the mission is one worth showing up for. Remote-first and globally distributed, we're genuinely passionate about what we're building. The Benefits At Teleport, we believe your career is more important than a list of perks. Location: Romania; Brazil; Peru; Sweden; Colombia; Argentina; Cyprus; South Africa; Czech Republic; Hungary; Mexico; Chile; Poland; Bulgaria Workplace: Remote BUILDING THE FUTURE OF OPEN FINANCE Payward - the parent company behind Kraken, NinjaTrader, Breakout, xStocks, Payward Services and CF Benchmarks - has spent the last 15 years building one of the most modern and globally accessible financial infrastructure platforms in the industry, built to advance an open, global financial system. THE TEAM Founded in 2011, Kraken is one of the world's longest-standing crypto platforms, trusted by over 10 million individuals and institutions across the globe. It offers spot trading, margin, futures, staking, and OTC services, with products built for both individual investors and institutional clients. We are currently seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our growing Consumer team. The Consumer team at Kraken focuses on building applications that expose Kraken's product offering to the mass market. Trying to onboard the next 100 million people to the benefits of crypto. This role involves setting the technical direction for our "Consumer" applications — a suite of products aimed at offering the simplest way for our customers to interact with Kraken — and delivering the hardest parts of it yourself. We expect anyone applying for this role to have an extreme eye for detail, a passion for building genuinely world class user experiences, a "ship fast but don't ship shit" attitude, and the judgment to know which is which without being told. The opportunity - Own the architecture and delivery of customer-facing Rust backend services powering trading, payments, and crypto experiences — making the design calls on systems that will outlive the feature you built them for - Take ambiguous, multi-quarter problems from "we think this matters" to shipped and measured, breaking them down so the rest of the team can move in parallel with you - Own features end-to-end rather than stopping at the API/backend boundary, and raise the bar on what "end-to-end" means for everyone around you — customer experience, frontend impact, and the product problem behind what you're building - Partner with product leadership to shape the roadmap for a product area, not just execute against it. You'll bring engineering insight that changes what gets built, and own the outcomes and metrics that follow - Drive initiatives that cross team boundaries — Kraken's trading infrastructure, platform, and other product teams — building the relationships and technical alignment needed to land them - Multiply the team: mentor mid-level engineers, review designs before code exists, unblock people quickly, and leave behind patterns and standards that make the next feature easier than the last - Use AI extensively to amplify scope and speed, moving from manually writing code toward orchestrating AI and validating implementation — and help the team do the same, defining what good AI-assisted engineering looks like here What you bring - 6+ years of backend engineering experience, with deep Rust proficiency across network services, asynchronous code, and distributed systems design (RPC protocols, Kafka, event-driven architectures) - A track record of owning systems, not just features. You've made architectural decisions in production, lived with the consequences, and can explain the tradeoffs you'd make differently now - Product engineering mindset. You've shipped features from problem → implementation → launch → user impact, with deep understanding of customer experience and product metrics, and you've influenced what got built and what got cut - Demonstrated impact through others: mentoring, design review, technical writing, or setting standards that changed how a team worked - Experience driving work that spans teams or orgs, where the hard part was alignment and sequencing as much as the code - AI-first development approach where AI is already meaningfully incorporated into your workflow; you actively use AI for coding, understanding unfamiliar codebases, crossing technical boundaries, and validating implementations - Ownership mindset with collaborative spirit. You personally drive features end-to-end, work across backend/frontend boundaries, and operate outside technical silos - Openness to how the engineering profession is evolving because of AI, prioritizing shipping valuable products over manual code writing Nice to haves - Full-stack experience including React/TypeScript or other frontend frameworks — valuable for demonstrating cross-boundary collaboration mindset - Cryptocurrency or blockchain domain knowledge - Experience building and scaling products at consumer-focused technology companies, ideally at meaningful user scale - Experience introducing AI tooling or workflows to an engineering team Unless a specific application deadline is stated in the job posting, applications are accepted on an ongoing basis. Please note, applicants are permitted to redact or remove information on their resume that identifies age, date of birth, or dates of attendance at or graduation from an educational institution. We consider qualified applicants with criminal histories for employment on our team, assessing candidates in a manner consistent with the requirements of the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance. OUR COMMITMENT Payward is powered by people from around the world and we celebrate the diverse talents, backgrounds, contributions, and unique perspectives that everyone brings to the table. We hire based on merit, seeking out people with the right abilities, knowledge, and skills for the job. We encourage you to apply for roles where you don't fully meet the listed requirements, especially if you're passionate or knowledgeable about crypto. We may ask candidates to complete job-related skills or work-style assessments as part of our hiring process. These assessments evaluate competencies relevant to the role and are applied consistently across candidates for similar positions. Results are considered alongside experience and interviews, and are not the sole basis for any employment decision. As an equal opportunity employer, we don't tolerate discrimination or harassment of any kind, whether based on race, ethnicity, age, gender identity, citizenship, religion, sexual orientation, disability, pregnancy, veteran status, or any other protected characteristic as outlined by federal, state, or local laws. We're growing quickly and recently raised our $1.5B Series F https://www.baseten.co/blog/announcing-our-series-f/, led by Altimeter Capital, Conviction Partners, and Spark Capital. Join us and help build the platform engineers turn to ship AI products. THE ROLE This role sits at the applied end of our post-training research efforts. You will work directly with stakeholders from the world’s fastest-growing AI companies to post-train open-source models that outperform frontier closed models on their specialised tasks. Your day-to-day is finding creative ways to extract signal from complex, domain-specific datasets and building the reward functions, environments, eval harnesses, and training pipelines that turn that signal into better models. The models you train ship to production and reach millions of users. We are looking for people with hands-on LLM fine-tuning and RL experience. Researchers who are excited by the prospect of shipping models into production, who can translate a customer's domain-specific requirements into an effective training curriculum, and who know when to be rigorous and when to iterate fast. WHAT YOU’LL DO - Co-architect and co-build production AI agents with customer engineering teams and customers - Own the technical win in pre-sales by designing POCs, answering deep technical questions, and guiding evaluations - Help customers deploy and operate agent-based applications such as conversational agents, research agents, and multi-step workflows - Advise customers post-sale on architecture, best practices, and roadmap-level decisions - Build and run tailored demos, trainings, and workshops for developer audiences - Surface field feedback and contribute reusable patterns, cookbooks, and example code that scale across customers - Interface with LangChain's engineering, product and design (EPD) team to share field perspectives and guide product direction based on customer priorities - Occasionally contribute code upstream when it meaningfully improves customer outcomes - This role requires 40% travel to customer sites to support deployment, onboarding, and ongoing technical engagement WHAT YOU’LL BRING - 1-3 years of experience in software engineering, customer engineering, solutions engineering, founding engineering, or a similarly technical role, ideally at a startup or high-growth company - Strong Python, JavaScript and systems fundamentals - Hands-on experience building and deploying agent-based or LLM-powered applications beyond simple API calls, including multi-step workflows, orchestration, and failure handling - Strong technical communication skills and builder credibility; Can explain technical tradeoffs clearly, translate complex AI concepts into actionable insights, and build trust with technical customers and engineering teams - Excited to work directly with customers during POCs, architecture reviews, and technical evaluations - Take responsibility for outcomes, not just recommendations - Have a bias toward action and enjoy figuring things out as you go - Are excited about shipping AI agents in production NICE TO HAVE’S: - You’ve deployed AI agents in production, especially using LangChain, LangGraph, or similar frameworks - Worked with LLM evaluation, observability, or guardrails - Have experience with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure), containers, and Kubernetes concepts - Have shipped and operated production software and are comfortable owning systems under real-world constraints COMPENSATION Annual OTE range: $160,000-185,000 USD Compensation Philosophy: We offer competitive compensation that includes base salary, variable compensation for relevant roles, meaningful equity, benefits, and perks. We are hiring for this role across a range of scope, and the compensation band reflects that. Your offer depends on what we learn about your impact, craft, leadership, and communication during the interview process. We will tell you early where you’re tracking and talk comp with you before offer stage.
