BUILDING THE FUTURE OF OPEN FINANCE
Payward - the parent company behind Kraken, NinjaTrader, Breakout, xStocks, Payward Services and CF Benchmarks - has spent the last 15 years building one of the most modern and globally accessible financial infrastructure platforms in the industry, built to advance an open, global financial system.
THE TEAM
Founded in 2011, Kraken is one of the world's longest-standing crypto platforms, trusted by over 10 million individuals and institutions across the globe. It offers spot trading, margin, futures, staking, and OTC services, with products built for both individual investors and institutional clients.
Kraken's Market Surveillance function is responsible for detecting, investigating and reporting market abuse across our regulated trading venues, spanning spot crypto markets, crypto futures, tokenised equities, OTC markets, and consumer trading. As our licensing footprint and product range grow, so does the scale and complexity of the surveillance programme behind them.
We're hiring a Principal Compliance Associate to take on the function's most complex casework, and help shape how we detect and cover market abuse as the business scales.
THE OPPORTUNITY
- Own complex investigations end to end, writing findings up to a standard a regulator can rely on, and present conclusions to a range of stakeholders.
- Lead or contribute to periodic threshold and model reviews, recalibrating surveillance rules and alert thresholds as trading behaviour, products and market structure evolve.
- Support the design, build-out and integration of surveillance platform capability, including onboarding new products, venues and data sources onto the surveillance system.
- Contribute to market abuse risk assessments, helping identify and score risk across products, jurisdictions and entities, and translate findings into surveillance coverage.
- Use AI and automation tools responsibly to speed up evidence-gathering, case reconstruction and detection-model development, always with human judgement over the final call.
- Support conflicts of interest, information barrier, and personal account dealing matters across Markets Compliance, extending beyond surveillance casework where buy-side or asset management experience is directly relevant.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Experience investigating market abuse or trading conduct inside a firm subject to market conduct regulation, such as an exchange, broker-dealer, trading venue, or comparable regulated trading business.
- A track record running investigations end to end, including writing findings up to a standard a regulator can rely on and presenting conclusions to stakeholders.
- Working knowledge of core market abuse typologies e.g. spoofing, wash trading, insider trading, front running, ramping.
- Experience with, or strong working knowledge of, threshold and model calibration, surveillance platform integration, market abuse risk assessments, and audit remediation.
- Comfort using generative AI and other automation tools to improve the speed and quality of investigative work, while maintaining the human oversight regulated casework requires.
- Familiarity with a surveillance platform (such as Scila, Nasdaq SMARTS, Eventus, or NICE Actimize) and comfort with SQL or a similar query tool for evidence-gathering.
- Clear, evidence-first written communication - your case files, escalations and regulatory drafts will sometimes be read by auditors and regulators without you in the room to explain them.
- Exposure to crypto-asset markets is welcomed but not required. What matters most is regulated-market investigation experience; strong candidates from traditional securities or derivatives markets are encouraged to apply.
NICE TO HAVES
- E-comms surveillance experience.
Unless a specific application deadline is stated in the job posting, applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.
Please note, applicants are permitted to redact or remove information on their resume that identifies age, date of birth, or dates of attendance at or graduation from an educational institution.
We consider qualified applicants with criminal histories for employment on our team, assessing candidates in a manner consistent with the requirements of the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance.
OUR COMMITMENT
Payward is powered by people from around the world and we celebrate the diverse talents, backgrounds, contributions, and unique perspectives that everyone brings to the table. We hire based on merit, seeking out people with the right abilities, knowledge, and skills for the job. We encourage you to apply for roles where you don't fully meet the listed requirements, especially if you're passionate or knowledgeable about crypto.
We may ask candidates to complete job-related skills or work-style assessments as part of our hiring process. These assessments evaluate competencies relevant to the role and are applied consistently across candidates for similar positions. Results are considered alongside experience and interviews, and are not the sole basis for any employment decision.

adjoe builds the technologies behind mobile apps growth and monetization. adjoe Ads is our programmatic in-app advertising platform that seamlessly connects advertisers and publishers through direct integration of our Android and iOS SDKs. Every ad decision happens in under 200ms across 10 million daily users, powered by real-time bidding algorithms and user quality prediction models that match the right ad to the right user at the right moment.
Where 50 Billion Daily Predictions Begin
The User Experience team is the origin point of adjoe Ads. Everything the system knows about a user, every prediction the ML models make, every bid placed in an auction. It all starts with code this team ships.
The team owns two responsibilities. On the SDK side, a native Kotlin and Swift code runs inside hundreds of publisher apps. It participates in 120 million daily auctions, renders ad creatives across multiple formats, and captures the behavioral signals that power 50 billion predictions per day. The constraint that defines this work: you're executing inside someone else's app, on someone else's device, with zero tolerance for instability. Every ad impression has to feel native and fast to the user.
On the analytics side, the dashboards, investigation tools, and data frameworks that turn raw data into decisions: real-time revenue performance across active campaigns, infrastructure cost visibility, and data quality assessments. If a number matters to the business or to engineering, this team makes it accessible.
Your Mission & Who We Are Looking For:
- Kotlin & Android Internals Expertise: You will own the core development and optimization of the adjoe Ads SDK, which runs inside hundreds of publisher apps. We are looking for someone with 8+ years of Android experience (or 3+ years specifically in SDK/library development) who works primarily with Kotlin and has a deep understanding of Android lifecycles, ProGuard/R8, and multithreading to ensure zero tolerance for instability on millions of devices.
- High-Performance Network Design: You will collaborate with backend teams to design APIs and capture behavioral signals that power 50 billion daily ML predictions. You need a strong track record in API design, maintaining strict backward compatibility for thousands of external integrators, and working with high-performance networking protocols like gRPC, Protobuf, Wire, and OkHTTP.
- Resource-Constrained Optimization: You will ensure every ad impression feels native and fast while participating in 120 million daily auctions. You must know how to design for minimal footprint, optimizing battery impact and memory usage, as your code executes directly inside someone else’s app and device.
- Data-Driven Observability: You will monitor, debug, and maintain SDK reliability at scale across millions of global users. You will leverage observability and data tools—including Sentry, Kibana, and AWS (S3, QuickSight, Athena)—to track errors, investigate SDK behavior, and turn raw data into clear engineering decisions.
- Build Automation & Delivery: You will maintain and improve our CI/CD pipelines to guarantee efficient, reliable SDK delivery. This requires hands-on experience with Gradle and GitLab CI to automate the testing, building, and packaging of our mobile libraries.
- Plus – AdTech & Low-Level Systems: It is a major plus if you bring experience in ad-tech or programmatic advertising (aligning products with IAB specifications). Additionally, experience with NDK/JNI (C/C++ interop on Android) or parallel iOS development experience is highly valued to help support our cross-platform ecosystem.
🌎 We welcome applications from talent worldwide and provide relocation support to Hamburg, Germany for those ready to join our team.
What’s in It for You?
At adjoe, you’re not here to just close JIRA tickets, you’re helping build the infrastructure behind one of the most impactful platforms in adtech. The systems you work on will reach hundreds of millions of users and power billions of decisions every day.
- Go Big. Own projects with impact on 770M users and push adtech boundaries.
- Move Fast. Ship solutions multiple times a day, learn from results, and keep momentum.
- Be Direct. Solve problems openly and collaborate across teams.
- Thrive Together. Grow with a diverse, global team of people from over 40 different countries that learn from each other.
- Have Fun. Celebrate wins, enjoy daily victories, and bring your energy.
We welcome applications from people who will contribute to the diversity of our company.

Manila-based, globally distributed, and hybrid-first — our team spans 45+ countries.
If you want to solve complex problems at scale and impact how millions of people access and manage money, come build with us.
Southeast Asia’s fintech moment starts here.
About the role:
You’ll build one ISMS framework for the whole Salmon Group, so every new regulation, licence, entity or market extends it instead of starting a new compliance project.
What you’ll do:
- Run the core GRC processes yourself while leading a GRC Engineer and growing the function. You report to the Group CISO.
- Work with the Bank CISO, the Bank IS governance team, SOC, AppSec, IT, Risk, Compliance and Legal to apply one set of controls across every Group entity. BSP rules are one input to the framework, not its boundary.
- Keep ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification and PCI DSS v4.0.1 compliance as outputs of the common framework, and act as the main contact for the certification body and the QSA.
What you’ll own:
- Own the common controls framework: a single control catalogue with named owners, mapped to ISO/IEC 27001, PCI DSS, BSP regulations and the Data Privacy Act. It includes entity and jurisdiction overlays and standard risk and control matrices (RCMs).
- Track changes in regulations and standards, and map each new obligation to an existing control or to a gap with an owner and a date.
- Define how a new entity, licence, product or market joins the framework, and review new initiatives early for security and compliance impact.
- Run information security risk management: methodology, risk register, annual assessment, treatment plans and risk acceptance. Own the policy lifecycle, an exception process with expiry dates, and the third-party security risk methodology.
- Define how controls are tested and what counts as evidence. Automate control checks towards continuous monitoring, and select and implement a GRC platform.
- Lead internal audits, external audits and regulatory examinations, and track findings to closure. Own responses to partner and client security due diligence.
- Run the security and risk committees, report on risks and compliance status to the Group CISO and management, and brief and train managers and risk owners. Formalise the security services the Group provides to each entity.
What makes you a strong fit:
- 6+ years in information security GRC, including 2+ years leading a GRC function or programme
- A track record of building or scaling a GRC programme, ideally around a common controls framework and RCMs mapped to several standards
- Hands-on experience taking an ISO/IEC 27001 ISMS through certification and surveillance audits
- Practical PCI DSS experience, ideally v4.0.1 in a payments or service provider environment
- Experience in regulated financial services (banking, payments or lending), including designing control testing and working with auditors and regulators on findings
- Working knowledge of ISO/IEC 27005 or NIST SP 800-30, clear writing for senior management, and daily use of AI tools to build your own automations with AI-assisted coding
What we offer:
Ownership and flexibility
- Fully remote work
- Company-provided tools and equipment
Health and time off
- Medical insurance support for you and your family through co-funding or reimbursement, depending on your location and subject to policy limits
- Access to an internal mental health support specialist
- 22 vacation days, Philippine public holidays, and 15 sick days
Growth and team experience
- Opportunities to learn and share your expertise through internal expert meetups, external conferences, speaking opportunities, and industry publications
- Company-sponsored trips to Manila to meet and work with your team in person
- High-performing teams can earn a dedicated beach house week in Southeast Asia
We believe strong teams are built by people with different backgrounds, experiences, and points of view. Salmon is an equal opportunity employer, and we make hiring decisions based on skills, experience, and potential.

At Render, we’re building the modern cloud platform for developers creating AI-native, full-stack, multi-service applications. Our mission is to eliminate the tradeoff between the power of hyperscalers and the simplicity of developer-friendly platforms—so teams can ship fast, scale reliably, and focus on their product, not infrastructure.
Unlike complex hyperscalers or ephemeral edge/serverless solutions, Render offers a developer-first experience with persistent compute, dynamic autoscaling, built-in orchestration, and observability, allowing teams to launch, scale, and manage real-world applications without writing infrastructure code or managing servers. Whether you're building LLM-powered applications, scalable SaaS products, or async processing pipelines, Render empowers teams to move fast and scale confidently from MVP to millions of users.
Our platform is trusted by over 7 million developers worldwide and continues to grow rapidly. In February 2026, we raised an additional $100M in Series C financing, bringing our total funding to $260M, to accelerate our vision of making cloud infrastructure both powerful and intuitive—designed for the speed of modern AI development.
We’re a diverse and talented team that values craft, velocity, and user experience. If you’re excited to help shape the future of the intelligent cloud and empower developers everywhere, we’d love to hear from you.
APPLYING TO RENDER
We're seeking candidates who possess high integrity, humility, and an insatiable drive to learn. Through reasoned discussions and continuous feedback, we strive to improve both individually and collectively. We foster an environment of mutual trust and respect, empowering effective debate to achieve the best outcomes for our customers and team.
We especially encourage members of underrepresented groups in the tech community to apply and understand that not all successful candidates will meet each requirement listed.
Our interview process is unique to each role, and we value the candidate experience just as much as our customer experience. We hope your conversations with us reflect a thoughtful process that is illuminative, enjoyable, and respectful of your time.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We're looking for a Senior/Staff Data Scientist to join our growing Data team and serve as a strategic analytics partner across Render. As we scale, we're tackling increasingly complex questions across our product, customers, and business, from how developers discover and adopt Render, to what drives engagement and retention, to how we prioritize investments and identify new opportunities for growth.
You'll partner with leaders and teams across Product, Growth, Go-to-Market, Finance, and other functions, focusing on some combination of data analytics, analytics engineering, machine learning, and experimentation based on your strengths, interests, and Render's highest-priority needs. You'll turn ambiguous questions into rigorous analysis, define how we measure success, and translate complex data into decisions and action.
As a Senior/Staff-level individual contributor, you'll also help set the standard for analytics at Render, shaping our measurement frameworks, analytical practices, and how teams across the company use data to make better decisions.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Serve as a strategic analytics partner. Work closely with leaders and cross-functional partners across Product, Engineering, Growth, Go-to-Market, Finance, and other teams to identify high-impact questions, frame decisions, and determine how success should be measured.
- Define meaningful metrics and measurement frameworks. Develop the KPIs and frameworks teams use to understand performance across areas such as acquisition, activation, adoption, engagement, retention, conversion, expansion, and customer outcomes.
- Turn data into strategy. Surface patterns across our users, customers, products, and business. Identify opportunities, diagnose friction, and help teams determine where to invest and what to prioritize.
- Shape our approach to experimentation and evaluation. Design and analyze experiments where appropriate, develop guardrail metrics and other methods for evaluating initiatives, and help teams choose the right analytical approach for the decision at hand.
- Build measurement into how we work. Partner with teams to define instrumentation and measurement plans early, ensuring new products, programs, and initiatives can be evaluated reliably after launch.
- Build trusted analytical foundations. Build and maintain dbt models, semantic and context layers in partnership with Analytics Engineering, transforming behavioral and business data into reliable datasets that support decision-making across Render.
- Raise the bar for analytics. Establish analytical best practices, improve how teams use data in decision-making, and mentor scientists and cross-functional partners on measurement, experimentation, and data literacy.
- Help shape the future of analytics at Render. Explore how AI-assisted tools can make analytics faster and more accessible while maintaining a high bar for accuracy, context, and analytical judgment.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- 7+ years of analytics experience, with a track record of shaping strategy and influencing decisions across complex or ambiguous problem spaces.
- Strong business and product judgment. You can take an ambiguous question, identify what really needs to be understood, and determine the right analytical approach to inform a decision.
- Experience defining and using metrics across some combination of Product, Growth, Go-to-Market, Finance, or other business domains, for example acquisition, activation, adoption, engagement, retention, conversion, expansion, or revenue.
- Strong SQL skills. Writing complex, efficient SQL and independently exploring large datasets is a core part of how you work.
- Experience using experimentation, statistical analysis, or other rigorous evaluation methods to understand impact, along with judgment about when each approach is appropriate.
- Experience with modern analytics tooling such as Metabase, Mixpanel, dbt, BigQuery, Segment, and Git.
- A track record of influencing cross-functional teams and senior leaders without direct authority. You're comfortable challenging assumptions, creating clarity from ambiguity, and driving alignment around what the data says.
- Excellent communication skills. You can turn complex analysis into a clear narrative, explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences, and build the relationships necessary to drive action.
- Experience using AI-assisted coding or analytics tools such as Codex, Cursor, or Claude Code to accelerate analysis, data modeling, instrumentation, or visualization.
NICE-TO-HAVES
- Expertise in statistical methods beyond traditional A/B testing, such as causal inference, cohort and survival analysis, or time-series analysis.
- Experience with developer-focused, product-led, sales-led, or usage-based businesses.
- Knowledge of cloud infrastructure, PaaS, developer tooling, or other technically complex products.
- Experience analyzing multi-product or multi-segment businesses and understanding behavior across interconnected customer journeys.
If this role excites you but you don’t meet every single requirement, we’d still love to hear from you—your unique experience might be just what we need.
BENEFITS
- 4 weeks of paid vacation.
- 14 weeks of fully paid parental leave for all parents to bond with a newly born, adopted, or fostered child. We will also work with you to create a supportive plan of return.
- Long-term disability, life insurance, and 401K plans.
- 100% employer-paid medical coverage and 99% employer-paid dental and vision coverage for you and a dependent. FSAs and HSAs are available as well.
- Monthly lifestyle stipend for wellness, mental health and therapy, hobbies, etc.
- Monthly cell phone and internet subsidy.
- Commuter benefits for Renders in the Bay Area, and home office stipends for remote Renders.
- Continuous learning benefits & related support.
This position is generally not eligible for new visa sponsorship. At Render's discretion, the business may sponsor existing visa transfers. Applicants who require sponsorship must receive business authorization.

About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role
Anthropic's Supplier Security & Assurance (SSA) team sits within Security GRC and is responsible for assessing the security of our suppliers: evaluating whether vendors meet our security requirements, capturing the deviations, and giving the business a clear approval decision it can act on. We assess the vendor population a frontier AI lab actually depends on: SaaS and software, human data operations, compute and data center providers, hardware suppliers, and services firms. The program is designed agent-first so that people spend their time on judgment, remediation, and the vendors that matter most.
As a member of the Supplier Security & Assurance team you will run supplier security assessments end to end: reviewing evidence, verifying agent-drafted evaluations, determining inherent and residual risk, and driving findings to closure with vendors and business owners. You will also carry the work that extends assurance past the approval, from contractual security terms and secure configuration baselines to continuous monitoring and reassessment, and you will help shape the tooling and requirements the program runs on.
Key responsibilities
Run supplier security assessments: review agent-prefilled outputs, evaluate vendor controls and evidence, determine residual risk, route to domain reviewers where deeper assessment is warranted
Operate supplier issue management and risk treatment: document each finding with a severity, an owner, and a due date, drive remediation with the vendor and the business owner, record risk acceptances, and roll open issues up to the risk register
Run continuous monitoring after approval: reopen an assessment on defined triggers (data classification change, new SOC 2 report, new subprocessor, vendor incident), investigate SaaS configuration, data, and use case drift signals, and queue a reassessment where the vendor's scope has moved
Improve the program as you run it: identify gaps in coverage, questionnaires, requirements, and tooling that surface during assessments, propose the fix, and carry roadmap items that mature supplier security overall
Tune and maintain our Claude-powered assessment platform alongside the team: prompt development, questionnaire and assessment type design, calibration against assessor decisions, and output QA
Contribute to KPI and KRI reporting on coverage, cycle time, residual risk, open issues, and reassessments due
Minimum qualifications
Experience running supplier security assessments end to end at a technology company: scoping the engagement, determining inherent risk, reviewing controls and evidence, documenting residual risk, and driving findings to closure
Working knowledge of risk fundamentals (inherent and residual risk, control effectiveness, compensating controls, risk acceptance) and the judgment to apply them when the evidence is incomplete or the answer isn't in a framework
Ability to assess a vendor across security domains, and to recognize which findings you can close yourself and which need a security domain specialist
Track record of driving risk treatment to closure through influence across teams with competing priorities
Experience building or tuning an LLM-backed workflow, agent, or automation in a risk, compliance, or operations context, including tuning prompts and reviewing model output for accuracy
Experience building or operating issue management workflows: logging issues with a clear owner and due date, tracking remediation, and escalating when treatment stalls
Working technical knowledge of SaaS security configuration (SSO and SCIM, admin scoping, sharing defaults, audit log export) and of standard vendor security contract terms (DPA, incident notification, subprocessors, audit and testing rights)
Ability to read a SOC 2 report or penetration test and turn it into findings: identify control exceptions and carve-outs, map complementary user entity controls, and judge what the evidence does and does not prove
Preferred qualifications
Experience assessing cloud infrastructure, data center, or data-pipeline vendors
Experience supporting SOX, SOC 2, or ISO 27001 third party or vendor management controls
Experience assessing additional, more specialized vendor cohorts from a security risk perspective: human data operations or data labeling vendors, hardware suppliers, compute providers and neoclouds, and others
Experience with post-approval supplier continuous monitoring: configuration, data, and use case drift detection, shadow IT & SaaS detection, vendor incident management, or evidence-based vendor audits/site visits
The annual compensation range for this role is listed below.
For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role.
Annual Salary:
$255,000
—
$270,000 USD
Logistics
Minimum education:
Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
Required field of study:
A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience
Minimum years of experience:
Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position
Location-based hybrid policy:
Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices.
Visa sponsorship:
We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this.
For roles performing work in California:
We will consider for employment all qualified applicants, including those with arrest or conviction records or criminal histories, in a manner consistent with the requirements of applicable state and local laws, including the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance, the City of Los Angeles’ Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring Ordinance, the Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers, and the California Fair Chance Act.
We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification.
Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed. Research shows that people who identify as being from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy, so we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to submit an application if you're interested in this work. We think AI systems like the ones we're building have enormous social and ethical implications. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team.
Your safety matters to us.
To protect yourself from potential scams, remember that Anthropic recruiters only contact you from @anthropic.com email addresses. In some cases, we may partner with vetted recruiting agencies who will identify themselves as working on behalf of Anthropic. Be cautious of emails from other domains. Legitimate Anthropic recruiters will never ask for money, fees, or banking information before your first day. If you're ever unsure about a communication, don't click any links—visit
anthropic.com/careers
directly for confirmed position openings.
How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.
