Mastery of performance metrics, including the ability to maintain a minimum 2x ROAS (at 30% profit margins) for clients.
Highly structured testing methodology with a focus on data-driven experimentation over ad-hoc changes.

How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role
We're seeking an experienced software engineer to build the platform behind governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) at Anthropic. Compliance information lives across dozens of systems, from cloud infrastructure and identity providers to HR platforms and code repositories. You'll build the pipelines, integrations, and services that bring that data together and turn it into automated checks, real-time dashboards, and evidence for real time decision making, compliance obligations, and to support expanding the markets we can serve.
You will be an early member of the team, collaborating with stakeholders across Security, IT, Engineering, Privacy Engineering, Legal, Finance, and more to turn manual compliance processes into scalable, reliable systems. You will lead your own projects end to end, and you will put Claude to work as an extension of the team through agentic workflows for evidence collection, analysis, and continuous monitoring. If you've built internal platforms, data pipelines, or privacy systems, you'll feel right at home, and you don't need a compliance background to get started.
Key responsibilities
Design and build data pipelines that aggregate risk, control, and asset information from across Anthropic's technology stack, solving hard integration problems like disparate schemas, inconsistent data quality, and unified views of posture
Build and maintain integrations connecting our platform to cloud infrastructure, identity management, HRIS, ticketing, version control, and CI/CD systems to enable automated evidence collection and continuous validation
Translate written policies and regulatory requirements into policy-as-code, turning static documents and spreadsheets into enforceable rules, automated checks, and continuous monitoring
Design and deploy agentic workflows where Claude handles work that previously required manual effort, such as analyzing evidence, generating audit responses, and monitoring control effectiveness
Develop dashboards and reporting that provide real-time visibility into risk and compliance posture for audiences ranging from engineers to executives and external auditors
Make architectural decisions that shape how the platform grows, establishing patterns and tooling that other engineers will build on
Partner with Security, IT, Infrastructure, and product engineering teams to make controls and evidence collection native to how Anthropic builds and ships
Operate what you build, owning reliability and data integrity for systems that audits and executive reporting depend on
Minimum qualifications
Have 8+ years of experience building backend systems, data pipelines, or internal platforms that other teams depend on, ideally operating at tech lead level
Are a systems thinker who understands how data flows between systems, where the integration points are, and what breaks when systems don't talk to each other
Have depth in either integration engineering (REST APIs, webhooks, authentication flows, event-driven architectures) or data infrastructure (warehousing, ELT/ETL, orchestration), and fluency in the other
Are proficient in Python, Go, or similar languages, and have production experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and infrastructure-as-code
Hold a high bar for data quality and reliability, and enjoy turning ambiguous, manual processes into simple, reliable automated systems
Take full ownership of your work, from design through deployment and operations, and can navigate ambiguity and make sound technical decisions independently
Take a product-focused approach to platform work and care about building tools internal customers love to use
Are excited to build with LLMs as system components, designing agentic workflows, evaluating their outputs, and making them reliable enough for high-stakes use
Preferred qualifications
Experience in domains where engineering meets regulation, such as privacy engineering, data governance, fintech, healthcare, or trust and safety
Experience designing and shipping LLM-based or agentic automation in production or operational contexts
Familiarity with compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, FedRAMP) or GRC platforms (ServiceNow, Vanta, Drata, OneTrust); this is helpful but not required
Prior experience at high-growth startups, building processes and systems that scale

At Offchain, we aren’t just building products: we’re leading a movement.
As pioneers in blockchain scalability and security, we're at the forefront of transforming how the world interacts with decentralized applications. We're laying the foundation that will define the next generation of digital commerce, governance, and human interaction. This involves tackling real-world challenges that come with scaling blockchain technology, without compromising on its core principles: decentralization, security and transparency.
At the center of this vision is our people. Our team is made up of thinkers and doers that embrace new challenges and seek solutions that push existing boundaries. If you’re energized by solving unprecedented problems, and believe in the role that decentralized systems will play in creating a more equitable digital future, then we want to hear from you.
Why Offchain?
Offchain is setting the pace for the entire Ethereum ecosystem. We built the Arbitrum stack that powers Arbitrum One, the most widely adopted Ethereum scaling solution that exists today.
Arbitrum’s ecosystem is undergoing tremendous growth with hundreds of projects and dApps on Arbitrum One today. Over 100 different teams have used Offchain technology to build their own Arbitrum chains. Major players in the space, Robinhood, BlackRock, Ethena Labs, Securitize, Aave, and Apechain are all using the Arbitrum stack.
Arbitrum’s thriving ecosystem wouldn’t exist without our advanced technology stack. Arbitrum, Prysm, ZeroDev. These aren’t just product names. These are tools that are actively reshaping what's possible on Ethereum and advancing its core infrastructure.
To top it all off? We’re backed by $124 million in funding. We’ve demonstrated consistent execution with billions in secured value, thousands of supported projects, and infrastructure processing millions of transactions seamlessly.

This person should be as comfortable shaping a founder keynote or editorial thesis as they are reviewing launch copy, assessing funnel performance, coaching a team member, or pushing a cross-functional project over the line.
The right candidate has led and inspired high-performing marketing teams in a high-growth technology environment. They know how to build a brand and narrative that cuts through, develop exceptional talent, and create a measurable growth engine. They understand crypto or are deeply motivated to learn it.
The work must be technically grounded, human in delivery, and anchored in clear business outcomes for the customer segments we serve.
What you'll do:
Marketing leadership and team building
Lead and inspire the marketing function across brand, product marketing, communications, content, social, partnerships, campaigns, and creative.
Set an ambitious vision for marketing and create the energy, clarity, and momentum required to bring the team with you.

Build the team thoughtfully, knowing when to hire, when to level up existing contributors, and how to create role clarity without slowing execution.
Establish clear priorities, OKRs, operating rhythms, and feedback loops that enable fast execution and strong cross-functional alignment.
Brand, communications, and executive thought leadership
Define and strengthen the market position of Offchain and its products, building brands that are distinctive, credible, and relevant to the audiences we serve.

Guide founder and executive storytelling across keynotes, op-eds, interviews, panels, social, and strategic announcements.
Build a stronger editorial engine, including essays, reports, partner stories, market commentary, launch narratives, and recurring content franchises.
Ensure external communications are precise, differentiated, defensible, and grounded in real product value.
Demand generation, marketing infrastructure, and revenue impact
Build the marketing capabilities required to translate awareness and engagement into qualified demand, customer adoption, ecosystem growth, and commercial outcomes.
Partner closely with Business Development to understand the evolving needs of customers and identify the marketing materials, programs, and campaigns needed to move opportunities forward.
Establish the measurement and attribution infrastructure required to understand how campaigns, content, events, partnerships, web activity, product engagement, and executive channels contribute to enterprise pipeline, customer adoption, monetizable activity, and revenue.
Understand which marketing programs influence conversion and where investment should increase, decrease, or shift.
Build dashboards and reporting rhythms that make marketing performance visible to leadership and actionable for the team.
Develop a disciplined experimentation framework for identifying and scaling new sources of qualified demand, monetizable volume, customer adoption, and revenue.
Balance near-term commercial objectives with the long-term growth and health of the Arbitrum ecosystem.

Turn market intelligence into fast action: messaging updates, executive talking points, campaign ideas, social responses, partner opportunities, and content angles.
Operate with urgency without sacrificing accuracy.
Measurement and business impact
Define how marketing success is measured across brand awareness, narrative adoption, developer engagement, partner amplification, qualified demand, enterprise pipeline, launch performance, network growth, monetizable activity, and revenue contribution.
Build reporting habits that show what is working, what needs to change, and where marketing is creating measurable business impact.
Guide the team in using data to improve campaigns, content, channels, audience strategy, conversion, and resource allocation.
Manage budget, marketing technology, vendors, and agency relationships with discipline.
What you'll need:
10 to 15+ years of marketing experience, ideally across high-growth technology, fintech, infrastructure, developer platforms, crypto, or enterprise software.

Track record of exceptional leadership, building and inspiring high-performing teams while raising the ambition and quality of the work.
Experience building distinctive brands and market narratives in complex, technical, or rapidly evolving categories.
