Location: Toronto Headquarters Workplace: OnSite BUILD SOMETHING PEOPLE LOVE Wealthsimple is Canada’s leading financial innovator. The company offers a full suite of simple, sophisticated financial products across managed investing, do-it-yourself trading, cryptocurrency, tax filing, spending and saving. Wealthsimple currently serves more than 4 million Canadians and holds over $155 billion in assets under administration. The company was founded in 2014 by a team of financial experts and technology entrepreneurs, and is headquartered in Toronto, Canada. We're proud of what we've built — and we're just getting started. Read our Culture Manual https://www.wealthsimple.com/en-ca/culture and learn more about how we work https://www.wealthsimple.com/en-ca/careers. ABOUT THE TEAM The Corporate Physical Security and Protective Services team sits within Wealthsimple's Regulatory division. We keep our people, offices, and visitors safe — from access control and our on-site guard program to emergency preparedness, investigations, and executive protection. We're a small team that works closely with Workplace Operations, building management, and partners across the company, and we're focused on building a security program that gets ahead of problems instead of just reacting to them. If you take safety seriously and want to help shape a strong security culture at a fast-moving fintech, you'll fit right in. ABOUT THE ROLE Reporting to the Senior Manager, Corporate Physical Security & Protective Services, you'll be the face of security in our Toronto office — the first person employees, visitors, and guards turn to when something comes up. This role exists to give our team more room to build: you'll own how we respond day to day in the office, and lead the security awareness program that helps everyone at Wealthsimple understand their part in keeping each other safe. Please note, this role is based in our Toronto office 5 days/week and is not eligible for remote work. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Serve as the first point of contact for security in the office, handling visitor management, temporary badging, and in-person concerns from employees and visitors - Lead content creation and day-to-day delivery of our security awareness program, including training on badging, visitor management, and emergency procedures - Respond to security incidents and see each one through to resolution, documenting everything - Investigate routine workplace incidents — like access violations, thefts, and disturbances — and escalate sensitive or high-risk matters - Coordinate daily with on-site guards on coverage, post order compliance, and shift handovers, and report issues so they get addressed with our vendor - Process access requests, badge issuance, and deactivations in our access control and video management systems, flagging anomalies and gaps as you find them - Support our emergency preparedness program — floor warden coordination, drills, and tabletop exercises — and help draft security policies, procedures, and event risk assessments - Assist with executive protection and travel security when needed, from logistics to travel monitoring SKILLS YOU BRING - 2+ years of experience in physical security, risk assessment, emergency response, customer-facing communications, or a related role - Post-secondary education in security management, risk management, criminal justice, communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience - Experience de-escalating tense situations with clients, visitors, or employees, with composure and discretion - Clear, concise writing — you can produce incident reports, procedures, and advisories that people actually read - Good judgment about what you can handle and what to escalate, and the ability to manage several priorities at once NICE TO HAVE - Experience in fintech or financial services - Hands-on experience with security and ticketing platforms like Genetec and Jira - A valid First Aid and CPR certificate - A PSP or CPP designation from ASIS, or progress toward one - Interest in growing into executive protection or intelligence analysis work WHO YOU ARE - Calm under pressure — you stay composed when things get tense, and people feel safer because you're there - Approachable and clear — you can walk a new hire through our badging process or settle a frustrated visitor with the same ease - Thorough and consistent — you follow procedures, document your work accurately, and notice when a process isn't working - Clear on your scope — you handle routine matters on your own and escalate early when something needs a second set of eyes - Someone who takes ownership — you follow your work through, raise issues before anyone asks, and want to grow into bigger responsibilities - Curious about how to make security part of the culture, not just a set of rules WHY WEALTHSIMPLE? 🌸 Top-tier health benefits and life insurance 📈 Long-term group savings with employer match, through Wealthsimple for Business 🌴 20 vacation days, 4 wellness days, and unlimited sick and mental health days per year* ✈️ 90 days away: work outside Canada for up to 90 days per year* 👥 Employee resource groups, including Rainbow (2SLGBTQ), Women of WS, and Black at WS 🌎 We are a hybrid team with over 1,500 employees across North America. The people are one of the best parts of working here: you'll collaborate with incredibly talented, curious, and driven teammates who are deeply committed to doing great work. *Unlimited paid sick days, Wellness Days and the 90 day away program do not apply to certain roles. ICYMI Technology & Innovation at Wealthsimple: We move quickly and build thoughtfully. That means we're always looking for better ways to work — whether that's new tools, AI, or rethinking how we approach a problem. We don't expect you to have all the answers, but we do expect curiosity and a willingness to evolve alongside the products we're building. Inclusion Statement: We're building products for a diverse world, and we need a diverse team to do it well. We strongly encourage applications from everyone, regardless of race, religion, colour, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, or disability status. Accessibility Statement: We're committed to an accessible hiring experience. If you need any accommodations throughout the interview process, please let us know — we'll work with you to make sure you have what you need. We also welcome any feedback on how we can better accommodate candidates with accessibility needs. AI in Hiring: We may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of our hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses. These tools assist our team but don't replace human judgment – all final hiring decisions are made by people. If you have questions about how your data is used, reach out to us.

Location: Poland Workplace: remote Senior Reconciliation Analyst (Fixed-Term Cover) About the Role Our Reconciliation team makes sure that every euro our clients see in their balances is actually backed by cash in the bank — and right now, we need an experienced Senior Reconciliation Analyst to join us on a fixed-term basis to cover a period of maternity leave. This is a hands-on, high-impact role at the heart of our payment operations. You'll own the day-to-day routine of monitoring reconciliation breaks, investigating discrepancies, and working closely with engineering and banking partners to keep everything balanced. It's a fast-moving environment where priorities can shift daily, so we're looking for someone who thrives on structure one day and adapts the next. While the core focus is routine reconciliation, there's real room to get involved in automation projects once you're up to speed — and this role can also be a strong stepping stone into other teams at the company longer-term. A Bit About the Team Our Reconciliation team is small but mighty — every analyst is expected to think like an owner, gradually automating routine work while keeping the core process rock-solid. It's a team that values flexibility (fully remote, outcome-focused — we care that the job gets done, not what hours you keep) and gives people real autonomy once the fundamentals are covered. If you enjoy solving problems that sit right at the intersection of data and payments, you'll fit right in here. While the core focus is routine reconciliation, there's real room to get involved in automation projects once you're up to speed — and this role can also be a strong stepping stone into other teams at the company longer-term. What You Will Be Doing Own daily reconciliation monitoring — checking that cash held in the bank matches client balances in our systems, and flagging and investigating any breaks or mismatches as they arise Resolve reconciliation breaks end-to-end — determining whether an issue is internal (looping in engineering) or external (liaising directly with banks and third-party payment providers) and driving it to resolution Maintain reporting and month-end close — supporting vendor reporting, regulatory reporting, and other recurring reporting cycles with a high level of accuracy Work across data tools — using Excel alongside data visualization tools (Databricks, Metabase, or similar — Tableau/Power BI experience also welcome) to monitor and track reconciliation data Contribute to automation — gradually helping automate manual reconciliation processes using AI and other tools, reducing reliance on spreadsheets over time Handle occasional manual money transfers — with the accuracy and attention to detail this requires Manage stakeholders across the business — working with engineering, treasury, and external banking partners to keep processes running smoothly Who You Are You have hands-on experience in reconciliation, payment operations, or treasury operations (e.g. as a reconciliation specialist, payment analyst, or accountant with reconciliation exposure) You're comfortable with Excel and have some experience with data visualization/BI tools (Databricks, Metabase, Tableau, Power BI, or similar) You have a working understanding of payment schemes and how money moves between banks and internal systems — you know who to go to when something doesn't add up You're diligent and detail-oriented, especially when it comes to handling money movements You're used to fast-paced, frequently changing environments and can adapt when processes shift — this isn't a role with a fixed rulebook You have strong stakeholder management skills and are confident communicating with both internal teams and external partners (e.g. banks) You're able to start immediately or on very short notice You're open to a fixed-term contract (~5 months, with a real possibility of extension depending on business needs) Nice to Have Experience working at a neobank or fintech (e.g. N26 or similar) — you'll likely need less ramp-up time in a high-change environment A mathematical or quantitative background Prior experience helping build or improve automations within a reconciliation or payments workflow Basic SQL or data analysis skills
