How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.

About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role
Anthropic's customer-facing teams are often the first place a customer sees what Claude can do. As a Demo Engineer, you'll build the demos, reference implementations, and reusable tooling that help those teams make new capabilities tangible, relevant, and trustworthy, ideally within days of a product launch rather than weeks after.
This role sits between product engineering, technical storytelling, and GTM execution. You'll own ambiguous, high-leverage problems end to end: prototyping an agentic experience for a new capability, then hardening it into something reliable that other teams can run on their own. You'll work closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Operations, and our sales and solutions teams, and you'll bring what you learn from customer-facing work back to the people building the products.
Because a demo is frequently someone's first impression of what our models can and can't do, accuracy and honesty matter as much as polish. Success in this role looks like customer-facing teams demonstrating new capabilities sooner and with more confidence, recurring requests becoming reusable assets rather than one-off projects, and field insights shaping product and launch-readiness decisions.
Responsibilities
Own demo readiness for new and priority Claude capabilities, including environments, integrations, synthetic data, evaluations, reliability checks, and fallback paths
Build prototypes, agents, and reference flows that make complex capabilities concrete and tie them to clear customer outcomes
Turn recurring requests into reusable accelerators such as companion apps, templates, Skills, plugins, and self-service demo packages that scale across customer-facing teams
Partner with GTM colleagues on high-impact customer moments, unblock critical technical gaps, and spot the patterns worth turning into shared assets
Build internal agentic systems that automate demo preparation, validation, and asset maintenance, so demos stay current as products change
Translate patterns from customer-facing work into product feedback, launch-readiness priorities, and systemic improvements with Product and Engineering
Define and raise the bar for demo quality across accuracy, safety, reliability, usability, and adoption
Decide when a customer need calls for a bespoke build and when it should become a shared capability
You may be a good fit if you have
Proficiency in Python or TypeScript, with experience shipping working software end to end
Hands-on experience building applications or agents on top of LLM APIs, including prompting, tool use, and retrieval
Experience designing integrations with third-party APIs, data sources, and services
The ability to take an ambiguous capability or customer need to a working prototype quickly, and then make it reliable
Clear communication of technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, including sales and solutions teams
Comfort collaborating across Product, Engineering, Marketing, Operations, and GTM teams
Experience in a demo engineering, solutions engineering, sales engineering, forward deployed engineering, developer relations, or product engineering role
A track record of building reusable internal tools, templates, or self-service assets that other teams adopted
Hands-on experience with Claude Code, the Claude Agent SDK, the Model Context Protocol (MCP), Skills, or plugins
Experience building evaluation or validation harnesses for AI systems, including reliability checks and graceful fallbacks
Experience building always-on or scheduled agentic systems that automate internal workflows
Experience building synthetic or sanitized datasets that make demos realistic without exposing sensitive information
Front-end or product design skills that help demos feel polished and intuitive
Experience supporting product launches or running launch-readiness programs
A history of turning field feedback into concrete product input that influenced a roadmap
A passion for making powerful technology safe and beneficial, and a commitment to representing model capabilities accurately and honestly

Anthropic is looking for Software Engineers to join the Memory & Search team. We own how Claude remembers you and how it finds what it needs, across Claude.ai, Cowork and Claude Code. That spans the user-facing experience (what Claude remembers, how people see and edit it, how search surfaces the right conversation) and the shared infrastructure underneath it, the memory service, indexing, retrieval and vector search.
Memory is one of the biggest levers on whether Claude feels like it knows you. We recently moved memory from a periodically synthesized summary to a dynamic, editable, on-demand system, and then unified it so the same memory follows you across products. Search went from a top user complaint to something people rely on to find past work. The platform is now in place, and the next phase is finding the product form factors that make memory the most compelling and sticky part of using Claude.
That is why we are hiring product engineers. The team is strong on infrastructure, and we want people who have shipped user-facing products at scale, have a sharp sense for what makes a product feel good, and have built agentic systems where the model, the tools and the user interface have to work together. You will run short, demo-driven experiments on top of the memory and search stack, decide what to keep based on real usage, and help the whole team think like a product team. If you have founded a company, been an early engineer at a startup, or taken a product from zero to one, you will recognize the way we want to work.
This is a trust-sensitive surface. Memory touches privacy, consent and enterprise controls, so you will work closely with product, design, privacy, legal and safeguards, and you will be expected to treat those constraints as part of good product design rather than obstacles to it.
Key responsibilities
Design, build and ship memory and search experiences in Claude.ai, Cowork and Claude Code, owning them end to end from the backend service through the model's tools to the user interface
Run product experiments on the memory and search stack: form a hypothesis, build a demo, put it in front of real users, measure, and make a clear persevere-or-pivot call
Shape how Claude uses memory and retrieval inside its agentic loop, including what the model stores, when it searches, how results are ranked and presented, and how the user stays in control
Define and track the metrics that tell us whether memory is actually making Claude more useful, and build the evaluations that keep quality honest as the system evolves
Improve search relevance and recall across conversations and memories, working across embeddings, hybrid retrieval and ranking as well as the interface that presents results
Partner with product, design, privacy, legal and safeguards to ship features that respect user consent and enterprise requirements such as customer-managed encryption keys and data retention policies
Raise the bar on product quality for the team through design reviews, code reviews and the standards you set for latency, polish and reliability
Share the on-call for the systems you own
Minimum qualifications
Experience building and operating user-facing products used by a large number of people, including the backend services behind them
Experience building agentic systems or LLM-powered products, including tool use, retrieval and prompt or context design
Strong programming skills in Python and TypeScript, with experience across backend services and web front ends
A track record of taking a product or feature from an idea to launch, and iterating on it based on usage data and user feedback
Experience defining product metrics and running experiments to make decisions
Strong product judgment: you notice when something feels off and you fix it, and you can explain why a design choice matters to users
Strong written and verbal communication, with experience working closely with product managers, designers and non-engineering partners
Interest in AI safety and Anthropic's mission
Preferred qualifications
Experience as a founder, early-stage engineer, or someone who has taken a product from zero to one
Experience building search or retrieval systems: embeddings, vector search, hybrid lexical and semantic retrieval, or ranking
Experience building evaluations for LLM or ML systems, or measuring the quality of retrieval and ranking
Experience on consumer products with strong retention, or on personalization systems
Experience shipping features that handle sensitive data or meet enterprise requirements such as customer-managed encryption keys, data residency or HIPAA
Experience with latency-sensitive, performance-critical product work
Experience mentoring engineers or setting technical direction for a team

Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

OUR STORY:
Every year millions of people are either filing their taxes in fear or giving up on their tax refund altogether. We're working on fixing that. Our intuitive app enables anyone, regardless of education or background, to file their taxes with newfound confidence.
Spread across Germany, Spain and the UK, the team at Taxfix Group with its brands Taxfix and Steuerbot, is a compassionate group of solution-finders. We speak our minds openly, and with over 400 professionals, including tax experts, developers, and IT security experts, we're rich in ideas and voices. The group has facilitated more than 3.5 billion euros in tax refunds for its customers since its founding in 2016.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Taxfix recently launched its first products and services for self-employed people and
small and medium businesses in Germany. The B2B motions these products
need to scale have to be built from the ground up, with support from central
growth and channel experts: acquisition and onboarding, lead generation and
nurturing, sales, retention and expansion. In this role, your mandate is to
find, test and scale what works.
You own SE and SMB growth marketing end to end for Germany. You start from an
insight you found yourself and pick the few opportunities worth the time and
money. Before launch you set the success, kill and scale criteria and what done
means. Then you run the work yourself, or hand it to the expert best placed to
run it, read the result and decide whether to scale, iterate or kill.
Central specialist teams carry the established work, and you collaborate with
them: paid acquisition, CRM, marketing data and MarTech. You decide which
channels, segments and messages to test, and you build the growth loops nobody
at Taxfix has run yet. You work with the B2B product team, the B2B commercial
lead, Product Marketing and our Creative Studio.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Find the opportunities worth running. Turn customer conversations, sales
calls, funnel data and what you observe in the market into hypotheses and
experiments for SE and SMB growth. Rank them and run them. Pivot when an
experiment fails, and scale quickly when it works.
- Build multi-channel strategies. Build an experimentation engine, and use
its results to shape the multi-channel strategy for awareness and demand
capture across Taxfix's new B2B products. Central growth teams and channel
experts carry parts of the mix.
- Design how each product reaches its customers. For each growth loop,
decide the ICP segment to focus on, the channel and the message to test, how
the user flow and experience fit the loop, and the plan for scaling after the
first positive signals.
- Plan it, then run it yourself. Set success, kill and scale criteria before
launch. Build the prototype, landing page, content, onboarding flow or nurture
sequence with your own hands where that is fastest, and bring in central
experts where they do it better.
- Build B2B motions from zero to one. Acquisition and onboarding flows, lead
generation and nurturing, the handover to inbound sales, retention and
expansion loops. Several of these exist nowhere at Taxfix today.
- Read the results and make the call. Separate signal from noise at B2B
volumes, where samples start small. Decide to scale, iterate or kill, and turn
the read into recommendations for Product and commercial leadership.
- Use AI as an operating and growth advantage. Use AI to 10x your
effectiveness and your outcomes. Build your own prototypes, applets and tools
for the opportunities you run, and apply AI to discovery, analysis, content,
experimentation and repeating workflows.
- Steer budget where the evidence is thin. You hold the mandate to plan and
allocate budget for new B2B motions and growth loops.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- Strategist and operator in one person. You pick the opportunities and you
run them, to the standard you planned them to. Given the choice, you ship a
first version this week over polishing a plan for a month.
- 5+ years in B2B go-to-market. 5+ years of experience in B2B
go-to-market, growth, strategy or another go-to-market function, including
ownership of a product or business outcome.
- Zero-to-one experience. You took a new product, category, platform or
business line from the first growth-loop tests, through scaling, to a
multi-channel playbook.
- Close to the customer. You naturally stay close to our customers, talk to them, listen to sales calls and use customer insights to inform your decisions.
- Data literacy. You can define and interpret acquisition, activation, adoption,
retention, pipeline, conversion, revenue and product-usage metrics, and you
turn what you find into a decision.
- Agility and speed. You try new ideas all the time. When one fails, you
pivot. When one works, you move to scale it. Shifting priorities and tight
deadlines don't throw you off.
- Curious about B2B growth and AI. You follow the people and sources moving
both fields, and you can name what you took from them into your own work.
- Knowledge of the German market, ideally of how self-employed people and
small businesses buy. Fluent German is a big plus, not a must.
WHY TAXFIX?
- A chance to do meaningful, people-centric work with an international team of passionate professionals.
- Holistic well-being with free mental health coaching sessions.
- A monthly allowance to spend on an extensive range of services that you can use and roll over as flexibly as you like.
- Employee stock options for all employees—because everyone deserves to benefit from the success they help to create.
- 30 annual vacation days and flexible working hours.
- A generous learning budget to support your personal and professional development and guidance from our internal L&D experts.
- Work from abroad for up to six weeks every year. Just align with your team, and then enjoy your trip.
- Plenty of opportunities to socialise as a team. In addition to internal meetups, our international team hosts regular get-togethers—virtually and in person when possible.
- Free tax declaration filing, of course, through the Taxfix app—and internal support for all personal tax-related questions.
- Have a four-legged friend in your life? We’re happy to have dogs join us in the office.
Excited? So are we. Check out our Life at Taxfix https://www.linkedin.com/company/taxfix/life/8684512c-424f-44de-8d07-6e6b516e3319/?viewAsMember=true page on LinkedIn to get a glimpse of our culture.

To help mitigate any potential unconscious biases, we ask that you refrain from including your picture, age, or marital status on your CV. Let your experiences speak for themselves.

Design at Anthropic sits at the intersection of craft, research, and product intuition. We're a small team working on products that millions of people use daily—and on interactions that don't have established conventions yet.
Our work shapes how people experience AI: whether Claude feels like a tool or a collaborator, whether it earns trust or erodes it. We partner closely with engineers and researchers, often designing around capabilities that are emerging in real-time. That means staying close to the models, prototyping rapidly, and being comfortable with ambiguity.
We care deeply about craft—the details that make something feel polished and trustworthy—but we ship fast and learn in the open. We'd rather get something in front of users and iterate than wait for perfection.
We're looking for designers who ship fast and stay in motion—people who would rather get something in front of users this week than perfect it for a month. You're excited to question fundamental UI assumptions and invent patterns that feel native to AI, and you're already using tools like Claude Code to extend what you can build. You pay attention to where model capabilities are heading, not just what Claude can do today, and you find ways to keep caring about the pixels, the copy, and the edge cases while shipping quickly.

Anthropic is building the Forward Deployed Engineering team to help the world's most ambitious organizations adopt Claude in ways that are transformative, safe, and lasting. Our Technical Deployment Leads (TDLs) and Forward Deployed Engineers (FDEs) embed with strategic customers to ship production AI applications that solve real business problems. Our delivery model pairs two roles: FDEs own the technical artifact, and TDLs own the engagement end to end, from statement of work (SOW) through production deployment.
As a Manager of Technical Deployment in EMEA, you lead a team of TDLs embedded with strategic customers. You own engagement portfolio health across your team, set the bar for delivery quality, and define where we play: which customers and which use cases are ready for production AI today. Your work will directly influence Anthropic's product direction and establish Anthropic as the trusted partner for AI transformation across the region. This role is based in London.
This is a player-coach role. You need to be credible in architecture conversations with a customer's engineering leads and equally comfortable in front of executive sponsors. You will also lead the most complex engagements yourself when the stakes call for it. Most of your impact will come through the people you hire and the standard you hold them to. You won't write production code, but you will pressure-test the technical decisions your TDL team makes with FDEs.
Responsibilities
Hire, develop, and retain a team of TDLs embedded in engagements across EMEA. Set a high bar for delivery judgment, technical fluency, and customer presence, and run the interview loop that holds that bar.
Manage each TDL directly: regular 1:1s, clear expectations, direct feedback, and a growth plan. Build a bench that runs engagements well without you in the room.
Define the delivery strategy for your portfolio: which kinds of companies we engage, which use cases we prioritize, and how that differs by market and industry. Hold each TDL accountable for a clear account strategy: what we want to achieve with the customer and the exit gates that tell us we got there.
Own portfolio health across your team. Track which engagements are on track, at risk, or closing out, and intervene early when delivery drifts. Run engagement quality reviews with your team.
Own customer outcomes across the portfolio. Hold the executive relationship with customer sponsors, run steering committees, and represent Anthropic with senior business, risk, legal, and engineering leaders.
Make the staffing call for each engagement. Work with FDE managers to match TDLs and engineers to each customer, and adjust as scope changes.
Lead the most complex engagements yourself. Take the TDL seat when engagement size, regulatory exposure, or organizational complexity calls for it, from SOW through production deployment.
Set the bar for delivery excellence: SOW quality, MVP scoping, and value measurement. Ensure every engagement has a defensible impact story.
Build regulatory requirements into how the team scopes and delivers, working with Legal, Security, and customer risk functions, so compliance shapes the plan from the start rather than blocking it late.
Codify reusable solution patterns, evaluation frameworks, and technical playbooks across the team. Turn what works in the field into delivery infrastructure that lets the practice scale, and adapt global playbooks to EMEA markets.
Partner with Sales to qualify engagements, shape scope, and inform SOWs. Partner with Marketing and Sales on EMEA go-to-market materials, reference cases, and positioning.
Run the team's operating rhythm: engagement reviews, knowledge-sharing, and escalation support, and feed the wider post-sales cadence and dashboards. Set team goals tied to customer outcomes.
Bring the field back to Anthropic. Surface delivery lessons and emerging use cases from EMEA to Product and Research, and represent the region in leadership discussions.
Consistently uphold Anthropic's values as you lead your team. TDLs should be strong representatives of Anthropic's culture as they work within customer environments.
Travel to customer sites across EMEA (25–50% expected), with occasional travel to the US.
You May Be a Good Fit If You
Have 8+ years leading enterprise AI/ML delivery, whether you came up as a founder, engineer, data scientist, or researcher and moved into deployments, with at least 3 years directly managing people who owned delivery outcomes.
Have a track record of building and leading technical delivery teams in enterprise environments across more than one EMEA market, ideally including embedded or forward-deployed teams working at client sites.
Have delivered AI/ML or LLM-based agentic solutions into production. You understand solution patterns, integration approaches, and what breaks in real environments.
Bring depth in at least one industry (e.g., financial services, healthcare and life sciences). You understand how security, compliance, and regulatory review shape what ships, and you can speak credibly with a CIO, a chief risk officer, and a head of engineering.
Know the EMEA enterprise landscape: how buying and procurement differ across markets, and how regulatory requirements affect what customers can deploy.
Can navigate architecture discussions with engineering stakeholders, evaluate technical trade-offs, and judge whether a proposed agent design is realistic.
Have experience with value-based scoping, including TCO/ROI quantification and post-deployment impact measurement.
Thrive in ambiguity and bring structure where none exists. You have built a team, practice, or function from an early stage.
Have executive presence: polished, credible, and concise with senior leaders in high-stakes settings, and just as effective in a hands-on engagement review with your team.
Have strong written and verbal communication skills. You can translate technical complexity into clear narratives for diverse audiences. Working proficiency in a second European language such as German or French is a plus.

We care deeply about the details that make something feel polished, trustworthy and human. We ship fast and learn in the open. We'd rather get something in front of users and iterate than wait for perfection.
The Design Systems team exists to define and elevate the language of our UI and core interactions. Every Claude product, from claude.ai to Claude Code, shares one system, including the guidance Claude itself follows when it generates UI.
You would be joining an early-stage team, working with design engineers and product designers across the company.
You may be a good fit if you:
Are as comfortable designing on canvas tools as you are building and prototyping within the product, and prefer to ship in days, not months.
Have worked on design systems that balance simplicity with creative flair to produce beautiful products out of the box.
Care about the smallest details as much as the big picture, from a pixel to how the whole app fits together.
Make the people around you better through sharp, kind feedback and low ego.
Get up to speed quickly and can make an impact on projects already in motion.
Key responsibilities
Design and evolve the system, from foundations (colour, type, spacing, icons, tokens, theming) to components like menus, dialogs, sidebars and the chat composer.
Design the expressive layer as a system, not one-offs: motion, illustration and icons that are brand and system at once.
Make the system legible to Claude as well as people: the guidance, metadata and evals that show whether Claude uses it correctly.
Partner with product teams: help designers and engineers apply the system well, and feed recurring gaps back into the system.
Prototype in code and ship: land changes in the design-system package alongside engineers, using Claude Code in your own practice.
Minimum qualifications
Strong visual and interaction craft.
Experience building or working on a design system.
Experience with design tokens, theming and accessibility standards.
Fluency in whichever tool gets an idea across fastest, from Figma to code.
Preferred qualifications
Experience building products at the highest level of craft.
Has shipped voice or other beyond-the-screen work, with native mobile instincts.
Has designed an icon set, illustration style or motion system used across products.
Experience defining evals, lint rules or automated checks for UI quality.
8+ years of product design experience.

Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices.
Visa sponsorship:
We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this.
We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification.
Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed. Research shows that people who identify as being from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy, so we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to submit an application if you're interested in this work. We think AI systems like the ones we're building have enormous social and ethical implications. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team.
Your safety matters to us.

Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

ABOUT THE TEAM
At Mural, we’re reimagining how teams think and create together. The Design and Research team brings clarity to complexity, shaping experiences that help people collaborate, ideate, and solve problems visually. We partner deeply with engineering, product, and research to invent the next generation of collaborative work combining craft, systems thinking, and bold exploration.
YOUR MISSION
As a Lead Product Designer focused on Growth, you’ll define how Mural earns user trust at the moments that matter most when someone first encounters the product's value, decides to go deeper, or chooses to stay.
This is end to end growth journey ownership. It's about designing the logic of how Mural grows: the moments where clarity converts, where friction is a design failure, and where the line between growth and product quality either holds or breaks. You'll work across discovery, activation, and pricing surfaces, onboarding paths, upgrade flows, lifecycle touchpoints, and in-product nudges. Most importantly, you'll orchestrate how those surfaces work together and set the standard for how growth design is practiced at Mural.
You'll succeed if you can bring full journey thinking, rigor and craft to a domain that often defaults to shortcuts and if you can help a cross-functional team understand what good growth design actually looks like.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
PLAYER RESPONSIBILITIES (INDIVIDUAL CONTRIBUTOR WORK):
- Define high-quality, user-centered discovery, activation, and monetization experiences across problem to success flows, upgrade flows, pricing surfaces, and lifecycle touchpoints — setting patterns that scale across the platform.
- Work from concept to production, delivering thoughtful UX, polished visual design, and vibe coded prototypes that help the organization understand direction, risk, and value.
- Use behavioral data as a primary design input: interpret funnel metrics, experiment results, and user signals to inform design decisions, not just validate them.
- Design and lead experiments across acquisition, activation, and expansion funnels — from hypothesis formation through read-out, in close partnership with product and data science.
- Establish reusable growth patterns in Mural's design system that balance clarity, persuasion, and long-term user trust.
- Partner with engineers to ensure accurate, high-quality implementation of flows and components.
COACHING RESPONSIBILITIES (PRACTICE LEADERSHIP & MANAGEMENT):
- Directly manage one to three designers on the growth surface: run regular 1:1s, set goals, give performance feedback, and support their career growth.
- Balance IC output with people leadership — this is a hands-on management role, not a full-time management track. Expect the majority of your time to remain in design work.
- Model how to hold craft and commercial intent simultaneously — showing peers what it looks like to design for conversion without compromising user trust.
- Mentor designers working on growth-adjacent surfaces, developing their instincts around hierarchy, motivation, friction, and funnel thinking.
- Contribute to how the team understands growth design as a discipline: a principled approach to earning user commitment.
- Champion the relationship between growth quality and product quality, helping leadership understand when they align and when they're in tension.
- Partner with research, data science, and product to elevate experimentation quality across the organization.
HYBRID RESPONSIBILITIES (BOTH PLAYER & COACH):
- Reframe problems at the funnel level helping teams understand where value is earned or lost and why.
- Lead workshops or working sessions that bring clarity to pricing, packaging, onboarding, and upgrade moment opportunities.
- Collaborate with product, research, and data science to define success metrics, shape experiment hypotheses, and interpret outcomes.
- Advocate for user trust as a growth asset, not an obstacle to conversion — and model how design holds that line.
DESIGN & RESEARCH TEAM CONTRIBUTION:
- Share growth approaches for designing discovery, onboarding, and identity flows with peers through critique and collaboration.
- Partner with research, data, and product teams to elevate experimentation quality and improve how Mural understands user value signals.
- Contribute to a culture of design excellence, especially in areas where growth and monetization intersect with core product experiences.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- 8+ years of product design experience, ideally in SaaS, productivity tools, collaboration software, or product-led growth environments.
- 2+ years of managing other designers
- A track record of leading growth, monetization, or conversion-focused design work — not just contributing to it.
- Deep fluency in funnel thinking: you understand acquisition, activation, retention, and expansion as a connected system, not isolated moments.
- Strong data instincts: you can read behavioral data, interpret experiment results, and use both to sharpen design decisions.
- Exceptional craft: visual clarity, spacing, motion, and interaction polish are second nature.
- Systems thinking: you understand how decisions cascade across surfaces, journeys, and user relationships over time.
- Experience mentoring or leading other designers, even informally — you know how to raise the quality of work around you.
- Strong communication skills that help cross-functional partners make smart, user-centered decisions.
- Comfort operating in spaces where patterns don’t yet exist and playbooks need to be written.
ALSO GREAT IF YOU BRING
- Experience with pricing architecture, packaging strategy, or monetization model design.
- Deep experience mapping and designing activation journeys — the full arc from first action to genuine value realization.
- Hands-on experience using AI-assisted tools and vibe coding to prototype growth flows, simulate behavioral nudges, and stress-test funnel logic in motion — treating code as a design material for rapid exploration.
- Background in organic acquisition or activation funnels at scale.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted experiences or contextual intelligence in growth flows.
- Experience working with data science teams on experimentation frameworks or causal inference.
- History of shaping 0→1 growth systems or redesigning broken acquisition or retention loops.
WHY YOU’LL LOVE MURAL
You’ll help shape how millions of people discover value in Mural, understand what the product can do for them, and make confident choices about their journey. You’ll design experiences that balance business goals with user trust, clarity, and delight. You’ll collaborate with thoughtful partners who care about evidence, craft, and outcomes.
At Mural, we “drink our own champagne” and use our product daily to collaborate, ideate, and prototype together. This role is Canada Remote. Your design work will shape how millions of people around the world collaborate.
Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
