At Render, we’re building the modern cloud platform for developers creating AI-native, full-stack, multi-service applications. Our mission is to eliminate the tradeoff between the power of hyperscalers and the simplicity of developer-friendly platforms—so teams can ship fast, scale reliably, and focus on their product, not infrastructure.
Unlike complex hyperscalers or ephemeral edge/serverless solutions, Render offers a developer-first experience with persistent compute, dynamic autoscaling, built-in orchestration, and observability, allowing teams to launch, scale, and manage real-world applications without writing infrastructure code or managing servers. Whether you're building LLM-powered applications, scalable SaaS products, or async processing pipelines, Render empowers teams to move fast and scale confidently from MVP to millions of users.
Our platform is trusted by over 7 million developers worldwide and continues to grow rapidly. In February 2026, we raised an additional $100M in Series C financing, bringing our total funding to $260M, to accelerate our vision of making cloud infrastructure both powerful and intuitive—designed for the speed of modern AI development.
We’re a diverse and talented team that values craft, velocity, and user experience. If you’re excited to help shape the future of the intelligent cloud and empower developers everywhere, we’d love to hear from you.
APPLYING TO RENDER
We're seeking candidates who possess high integrity, humility, and an insatiable drive to learn. Through reasoned discussions and continuous feedback, we strive to improve both individually and collectively. We foster an environment of mutual trust and respect, empowering effective debate to achieve the best outcomes for our customers and team.
We especially encourage members of underrepresented groups in the tech community to apply and understand that not all successful candidates will meet each requirement listed.
Our interview process is unique to each role, and we value the candidate experience just as much as our customer experience. We hope your conversations with us reflect a thoughtful process that is illuminative, enjoyable, and respectful of your time.
ABOUT THE ROLE
More than 7 million developers use Render, and most of them found us through other developers. We're building a team to further drive this developer led growth. As our first Developer Programs Lead, you'll own Render's social presence, developer community, developer programs, and developer voice.
You'll set the strategy across all four areas, decide where to hire, where to use agencies or creators, and in what order.
You'll report to Raph Terrier, Head of Developer Experience. The DX team owns content: tutorials, videos, docs, and articles. Your team owns how Render sounds, how that content reaches developers, and the programs and community around it. You'll also work closely with our VP of Marketing, product marketing, and product.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Build and lead the team
- Set the strategy and goals for social, community, developer programs, and developer brand.
- Decide what to build first, what to hand to agencies or contractors, and when to hire. Then hire and manage the team.
- Report on what's working to Developer Experience and Marketing leadership, and change course when something isn't.
Own Social
- Run Render's accounts on X, LinkedIn, and Reddit yourself at first. Write the posts, reply to developers, and join the conversations where Render has something useful to say.
- Set the channel strategy: where we show up, how often, and what we measure.
- Handle the hard moments in public, including outages, pricing changes, and sharp criticism, with the right people inside Render.
Grow our Developer Community
- Build Render's presence in Discord, Reddit, and the other places developers gather, with the DX team.
- Run AMAs, livestreams, and community events with DX.
- Bring what you hear from developers back to Product and Engineering.
Run developer programs
- Build programs that grow Render's reach through other people: developer creators, ambassadors, referrals, speaking, and employee advocacy.
Own the developer voice
- Define Render's voice and style for developers, and write it down so engineers, product managers, and marketers sound like Render when they write or post.
- Work with the VP of Marketing and product marketing on Render's external narrative and how each launch shows up in public.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 7+ years across social, community, developer marketing, or brand, including time building or leading a function at a growing company.
- Experience hiring and leading a team, or building a function from early stage with a clear plan for who to add and when.
- Recent hands-on ownership of a company's social channels. You can show us accounts you ran and copy you wrote.
- Experience building a developer community or program, with results you can explain.
- Experience shaping a brand voice, and examples of how it changed the way a company sounded.
- Fluency with developer audiences and enough technical comfort to write accurately about infrastructure, with the judgment to check with an engineer first.
- You work without a playbook and with little direction across Marketing, Product, and Engineering.
- Steady judgment when something goes wrong in public.
NICE-TO-HAVES
- Experience at a developer tools, cloud, or infrastructure company.
- You've run a creator, influencer, or ambassador program.
- An active personal presence on X, LinkedIn, YouTube, or another platform developers use.
- Comfort on camera or behind a mic.
If this role excites you but you don’t meet every single requirement, we’d still love to hear from you—your unique experience might be just what we need.
BENEFITS
- 4 weeks of paid vacation.
- 14 weeks of fully paid parental leave for all parents to bond with a newly born, adopted, or fostered child. We will also work with you to create a supportive plan of return.
- Long-term disability, life insurance, and 401K plans.
- 100% employer-paid medical coverage and 99% employer-paid dental and vision coverage for you and a dependent. FSAs and HSAs are available as well.
- Monthly lifestyle stipend for wellness, mental health and therapy, hobbies, etc.
- Monthly cell phone and internet subsidy.
- Commuter benefits for Renders in the Bay Area, and home office stipends for remote Renders.
- Continuous learning benefits & related support.

- Lead and coordinate German crisis and issues communications, partnering with Corporate Communications and relevant local and regional teams to anticipate reputational risks, develop response strategies and ensure clear and timely communications.
Qualifications
- Have 7-10 years of experience in B2B communications in DACH, or technical content, ideally in AI, enterprise software, or developer‑focused environments
- Have a talent for translating complex topics into different languages without losing nuance
- Are experienced at managing PR agencies in the German market
- Have experience and/or heavy interest in policy and regulatory communications, particularly within the German/EU regulatory environment
- Have experience running communications strategies for the DACH region
- Are highly organized and detail‑oriented with strong project management skills and a bias for action
- Are comfortable navigating ambiguity and thrive in fast‑moving, high‑growth environments

THE ROLE
You'll lead marketing operations and analytics at Cohere. That covers the team, the martech stack, how we measure marketing's contribution to pipeline, and the budget and pipeline numbers marketing plans against. When leadership asks what marketing produced last quarter and what to fund next, the answer starts with your numbers.
The role reports to the VP of Brand. You'll work most closely with the Marketing Chief of Staff and the heads of Growth and Demand and Product Marketing, and every week with Revenue Operations, Sales Operations & Finance. Web operations is part of marketing but doesn't report to this role.
WHAT YOU'LL OWN
THE TEAM
You'll manage the marketing operations, automation, and analytics and data operations staff, and hire where you find gaps. Marketing is growing rapidly, so you'll also bring acquired companies' systems and data into our stack.
MEASUREMENT
The attribution methodology is yours, documented and signed off by Marketing, Revenue Operations and Finance. Each quarter you'll present marketing's pipeline contribution to the executive team and say what you'd change. Your analysts do the same for the program teams in Growth and Demand, Events and Product Marketing, showing which campaigns and channels are paying back their spend.
SYSTEMS AND DATA
Marketo, Looker, GA4 and 6sense are yours end to end, along with the campaign and lead side of Salesforce. That includes forms, nurture, lead lifecycle, scoring and routing. Campaign data needs to be structured well enough that analysts don't need workarounds, and target-account data has to reconcile to the governed account list. With Revenue Operations, you'll make sure the data behind marketing's pipeline numbers can't change without a record, so a bulk edit can't quietly rewrite marketing's results. A/B testing on nurture and forms sits with you too, sized so the results can be read.
Over time we want fewer tools and fewer dashboards, with one governed source for each metric.
BUDGET AND PLANNING NUMBERS
You'll own the martech and operations budget and track budget and headcount across marketing. You'll also build the pipeline and capacity models marketing plans against. The Marketing Chief of Staff runs planning and the business reviews and leads the trade-off conversations with your numbers in hand. Marketing and Sales need to count pipeline the same way, every time.
YOUR FIRST YEAR
In the first 90 days, you'll document the attribution methodology and get it signed off by Marketing, Revenue Operations and Finance. By then we should also have an inventory of every reporting surface, each with a named owner, and your order for fixing the data problems you inherit.
By three months, one governed executive dashboard has replaced the competing decks in business reviews, and rebuilt lead routing is in production.
By six months, target-account reporting reconciles to the governed list, and anyone on the team can reproduce quarterly attribution from the documented method, with change control on the data underneath it. The stack is smaller than when you arrived, and some marketing workflows run on agents in production. Annual planning runs on your budget, headcount and pipeline models.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
MUST HAVE
- 10+ years in marketing operations or marketing analytics in B2B or enterprise software, including at least one high-growth company.
- You've managed a marketing operations and analytics team and its martech budget, setting priorities across ops, automation and analytics specialists and hiring to fill gaps.
- Hands-on Marketo and Salesforce experience with lead lifecycle, campaign structure, routing and the sync between the two. You've configured these systems yourself.
- You've owned a multi-touch attribution model end to end and defended its definitions to a CFO or executive team.
- SQL, and enough comfort in a governed BI layer like Looker to check a number yourself before you present it.
- You've run the data side of an account-based motion, including the hygiene that makes a target account list reportable.
- You've worked closely with Revenue Operations and Sales Operations without duplicating their work.
- Experience in enterprise, regulated or public-sector buying environments, including GDPR and CASL as they apply to lead handling.
- You already use AI and automation in your own team's work.
NICE TO HAVE
- Enterprise AI, infrastructure or developer-platform marketing.
- You've built agentic or LLM-based workflows in GTM operations and measured what they saved.
- Product-led funnel instrumentation running alongside a sales-led pipeline.
- You've consolidated an inherited martech stack, or merged systems after an acquisition.

We believe that real-time collaboration and human connection are necessary ingredients in building a high-velocity, high-trust team. We maintain core hours (9:30am - 2:30pm Pacific) when everyone is online, regardless of timezone. About half of us are located near our hubs in SF and NYC.
In addition to what’s below, you can see all open roles and learn more about our culture on our careers page.
The Role
CS Learning Designers at Brilliant design interactive learning games to teach programming and algorithmic thinking. We’re hiring exceptional learning designers who can teach computer science concepts creatively using Python, as well as brainstorm new interactive experiences that bring the principles of algorithm design to life.
You will work in a small, nimble team to redefine the future of education. We especially encourage applicants with a strong background in computer science education to apply.
You will use your pedagogical instincts and taste to expand Brilliant’s library of CS learning games and achieve the best possible outcomes for our learners and our business. You will be joining a passionate and experienced team of entrepreneurial-minded people who are working to make a meaningful impact on the world.
To be considered for this role, please include your best example(s) of how you've taught computer science concepts interactively online.
Responsibilities
Develop hands-on programming courses to teach CS concepts using Brilliant’s Python learning game.
Design new learning games — visual, puzzle-driven experiences that teach foundational principles in algorithms, data structures, and computational thinking.
Decompose complex computer science ideas (e.g., recursion, backtracking, dynamic programming) into approachable, well-sequenced steps that empower learners to reason from first principles.
Design content that is clear, creative, and intuitive — using interactivity to help learners build confidence and mastery.
Build immersive, interactive learning experiences that guide learners along problem-solving journeys.
Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to imagine and create new interactive features, visuals, and mechanics that elevate the learning experience on both computers and phones.
You
Have an undergraduate degree or above in a STEM field, and you’ve developed a strong grounding through research or teaching that extends beyond traditional curricula.
You have used AI agents extensively for coding, and have an opinionated stance on what core concepts are important to teach in the world of agentic coding.
Have a knack for teaching complex topics using a progression of clear, simple, hands-on steps.
You have experience with building or using interactivity to motivate, engage, and challenge learners, including in asynchronous contexts.
Have a way with words, especially when communicating challenging concepts, and your writing skills (in English) are top notch.
Are great at context switching and prioritizing among a large workload.
Have an openness to change and a willingness to experiment with formats and platforms.
Are not afraid to jump into any aspect of a project to fill a vacuum, no matter how big or small.
Compensation and Benefits
We use a systematic compensation framework: salary scales are set each year for each job vertical, managers level folks on their team, and those levels are mapped directly to our compensation scales. A location-based adjustment is applied outside of SF and NYC (typically 5-10%) - feel free to ask us about your location!
Given the systematic approach, we always make First and Best offers - there is no negotiation (for new hires nor our existing teammates). This ensures people are paid based on their expected contribution, not their negotiation skills.
We offer top-notch health care plans, with 100% of the premiums covered for medical, dental, and vision for employees.
We offer flexible PTO, with a norm of taking off about 6 weeks per year (including federal holidays). We also provide home office equipment, a professional development stipend, and free food at our offices.
