- GTM technical expert: Design and demo Sierra’s incredible Agent product, offering technical solutions to solve for our customer’s needs, and answering technical questions about our solutions.

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Pipeline Development: Build and maintain production pipelines that collect data from external providers, process it, and load it into our spatial databases, using established ingest patterns and adding new sources.
- Pipeline Operations: Own pipelines in production, respond to failures, and adapt ingestion when upstream providers change their schemas, formats, or access rules.

- 3+ years of experience in software engineering
- Proficiency in writing clean, scalable backend code in a systems language, preferably Rust or Node/Typescript
- Commitment to a security-first mindset when designing systems
- Ability to autonomously debug issues across the stack including OS, network, and application layers
- Familiarity with distributed systems and technologies including RPC protocols, Kafka, and Event Driven Systems
