Leveling Philosophy
In order to thoughtfully scale the company and avoid downstream inequities, we’ve adopted a flat titling structure at One. Though we may occasionally post a role externally with a prefix such as “Senior” to reflect the external level of the position, we do not use prefixes in titles like that internally unless in a position which manages a team. Internal titles typically include your specific functional responsibility, such as engineering, product management or sales, and often include additional descriptors to ensure clarity of role and placement within our organization (i.e. “Engineer, Platform”, “Sales, Business Development” or “Manager, Talent”). Employees are paid commensurate with their experience and the internal level within OnePay.
Inclusion and Belonging
To build technology and products that are used and loved by people and solve real-world problems, we need to build a team with many different perspectives and experiences. We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company. Are you ready to join our digital revolution journey?
At Aleph, we’re not just part of the digital advertising landscape—we’re shaping its future. Representing the world’s leading platforms, including TikTok, Amazon, Google, and nearly 55 others, we operate in 130+ markets across new and existing geographies.
Our mission is to empower advertisers and brands to unlock the full potential of these platforms' advertising capabilities. By fostering long-lasting partnerships, we create limitless opportunities for people and businesses to advertise effectively at both local and global levels.
With a presence spanning continents, Aleph offers you the chance to be part of a fast-growing, innovative team where your work makes a direct impact. If you’re ambitious, forward-thinking, and eager to thrive in a dynamic, global environment, Aleph is the perfect place to build your career.
About The Role:
We're an advertising company that lives or dies by how well we connect to the outside world. We integrate with the major social and ad platforms (Meta, Google, TikTok, LinkedIn, Snap, and more) and wire them into our internal systems for billing and reporting. Data moves constantly and in both directions, at scale, and a meaningful part of our estate is legacy. You'll own the technical direction that keeps all of this coherent, resilient, and evolvable — and you'll stay close enough to the code to prove it.
This is the top of our individual-contributor ladder. You won't have direct reports; your leverage comes from setting direction, building the hard parts yourself, writing the decisions down, and getting engineers and leadership to build behind them. This is not a role that only draws diagrams — you'll ship production code on the riskiest paths, cut the spike that de-risks a migration, and go deep in the incidents nobody else can crack. We work across PHP, Go, Python, TypeScript, and JavaScript; PHP and Go are both first-class and here to stay, and the right tool for a problem can land in either. You'll be the person who decides where new capability lands, how legacy gets retired, and how we absorb the constant churn of third-party APIs without breaking delivery.
What You'll Own:
The integration architecture for ingesting from and pushing to external ad/social platforms — versioning, rate limits, backfills, idempotency, webhooks, and graceful degradation when a partner API changes underneath us.
The data architecture for information flowing between platforms and internal systems: pipelines, reconciliation, contracts between services, and the path from operational data to reporting.
A pragmatic strategy for modernizing the legacy estate — strangler-fig migrations, clear service boundaries, and sound judgement about which language and pattern fit each problem — carried far enough into code that teams can follow the pattern.
The engineering bar for integration and data work: the reference implementations, patterns, and standards the org builds against, ratified through the technical committee.
What You'll Do:
Set the technical direction for new products and major changes, and stay the technical decision-maker through build and post-launch — with the authority to course-correct when implementation drifts, and the habit of being in the codebase to catch the drift early.
Build the hard parts yourself.
Write production code on the riskiest, highest-leverage paths; prototype the uncertain approach to turn an argument into evidence; build the reference implementation others extend.
Turn intangible trade-offs — partner API risk, team capability, long-term scalability, cost of change — into clear, written decisions (ADRs) that leadership and the technical committee can sign off on.
Define service and data contracts, integration patterns, and resilience strategies that survive third-party API deprecations and outages.
Go deep when it breaks: lead diagnosis on the gnarliest production incidents and performance regressions, and land the fix and the systemic follow-up.
Identify the infrastructure (compute, data, messaging, observability) needed to meet current and near-future goals.
Raise the bar through others:
mentor engineers and tech leads, set the standard in code review, and drive cross-functional decisions across engineering, product, security, and operations — through influence, not line management.
Evaluate third-party and vendor solutions against our integration and data requirements.
Monitor systems against performance and business benchmarks and escalate with concrete recommendations.
What We're Looking For:
Substantial experience as a staff/principal engineer (or equivalent) on
integration-heavy, data-heavy systems
— ideally where you didn't control the external APIs.
Still hands-on.
You lead by building, and you're demonstrably strong in production code, not only in design.
Depth in at least one of
PHP, Go, or Python
, and comfort across a polyglot estate (TS/JS on the front).
A track record of
modernising legacy systems incrementally
without halting delivery.
Fluency in integration and data patterns: idempotency, eventual consistency, rate limiting, queuing, backfills/reconciliation, API versioning.
A history of
driving technical decisions through influence rather than authority
— getting senior leadership and peer engineers to commit to a direction, and backing it with working code.
Nice To Have:
Experience with ad/martech platform APIs (Meta Marketing, Google Ads, TikTok, etc.).
Data warehouse / analytics pipeline experience (e.g. BigQuery).
Multi-region, multi-currency, or high-volume billing/reconciliation backgrounds.

Wrike is our people, not a place. As a distributed team, we own our growth, stay globally connected, and rely on the product we build to deliver impactful work alongside brilliant minds. You'll have real ownership over meaningful work, a global team that has your back, and the flexibility to do your best work your way. If that sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you.
Our vision:
A world where everyone is free to focus on their most purposeful work, together.
About the Role:
You'll help build the very AI-powered platform you use every day, with real autonomy over the features you ship. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, using critical thinking to question assumptions and validate your own decisions.
Strong written and spoken English skills suitable for collaborating in an international engineering environment.
Standout Qualities:
Background in infrastructure engineering or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), including infrastructure-as-code practices.
Experience leading technical initiatives, driving cross-team projects, and mentoring other engineers while remaining an individual contributor.
Familiarity with observability and monitoring stacks (e.g., Graylog, Zabbix, Grafana) and/or data analytics tools such as BigQuery.
A strong interest in how complex systems fail and a track record of designing them to recover gracefully.
Team Dynamics:
You will join the Backend Reliability (BRE) team, a small, highly specialized, senior group focused solely on Wrike’s reliability. The team operates as an internal “reliability task force,” partnering closely with product and platform engineering teams across the company. You’ll collaborate with other senior engineers who value autonomy, deep technical discussions, and rigorous engineering practices. The culture is ownership-driven: you are trusted to manage your time, make architectural decisions, and drive initiatives to completion.
Our Work Style:
The BRE team works on core backend and infrastructure services that support millions of users. We operate in a collaborative environment that values clear communication, thoughtful design, and fast feedback loops.
Tech focus areas include: Java/JVM-based services, PostgreSQL, Redis, Docker, Kubernetes, RabbitMQ/Kafka, and observability/monitoring tools.
We encourage the use of modern AI-based tooling and coding agents as part of daily development and troubleshooting workflows.
Work is organized with an emphasis on impact and reliability goals rather than ticket volume, giving you room for deep work and long-term improvements.

• Act as editor-in-chief of the Satellite Operations Handbook: gather documentation and inputs from subsystem teams (power, thermal, AOCS, TT&C;, payload, FDIR, ground segment) and integrate them into one coherent, fluid text.
• Interview subsystem engineers to close gaps, resolve ambiguities, and verify the technical accuracy of every section.
• Rewrite engineering source material into clear, unambiguous, procedure-grade language suitable for use by operators in real-time operations.
• Structure the handbook across the mission lifecycle: nominal operations, contingency and FDIR response, and subsystem reference sections.
• Maintain revision and configuration control; organize and run formal review cycles with engineering and operations stakeholders.
• Establish and enforce a style guide, templates, and terminology consistency across all contributors.
Required Qualifications
• Proven long-form technical authorship — a PhD thesis, published research, or prior authorship of operations manuals, handbooks, flight rules, or procedures. (Per the hiring manager: "People who have written PhD theses would be ideal candidates.")
• Working knowledge of satellites and space systems — able to read, understand, and interrogate subsystem engineering documentation.
• Fast learner with a synthetic mind: able to compress many inconsistent sources into one clear narrative.
• Excellent written English.
Preferred Qualifications
• Background in satellite operations, spacecraft systems engineering, or mission analysis.
• French language skills (Montreal-based team).
• Familiarity with documentation and requirements tools (DOORS, Confluence) and ECSS/NASA documentation culture.
• Experience authoring training materials or certifying operations personnel

The engineering team at Chainalysis is inspired by solving the hardest technical challenges and building products that establish trust in cryptocurrencies. We're a global organization that thrives on challenging work and doing it alongside exceptionally talented teammates. Our industry evolves rapidly, and our mission is to build a flexible, AI-driven platform that automates entity resolution, optimizes data labeling pipelines, and creates predictive models that identify illicit patterns before they escalate.
Our data and solutions have been used to solve some of the world's most high-profile criminal cases and grow consumer access to cryptocurrency safely. Now, by pairing the industry's most trusted blockchain data with agents that reason, investigate, and act, we help our customers scale their workflows as the cryptocurrency economy becomes increasingly mainstream.
The Protocols team delivers high-quality, low-latency blockchain datasets that serve as the trusted foundation for Chainalysis’ investigation, compliance, data and security products. We currently support more than 30 blockchains, translating on-chain data into actionable intelligence.
In this role, you’ll:
- Architect and evolve scalable, reliable, and performant systems for ingesting and parsing complex blockchain data.
- Leverage AI-native engineering workflows (LLMs, automated agents) to increase team velocity and code quality.
- Provide blockchain protocol expertise (EVM, UTXO, etc.) to the team and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Manage the full software development lifecycle, including production monitoring, debugging, and maintaining reliability of our pipelines and services.
- Work closely with Product Managers to ensure our datasets meet the evolving needs of the crypto ecosystem.
- Guide junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews, design docs, and technical mentorship.
We’re looking for candidates who have:
- Extensive experience building distributed systems or data-intensive applications.
- Experience working with TypeScript either in a professional or personal capacity
- A bias to ship and the ability to iterate quickly in a fast-moving environment.
- Demonstrated ability to leverage AI assisted development tools to increase velocity while maintaining reliable, maintainable code.
- A deep understanding and experience of at least one Blockchain protocol
You might also have:
- Knowledge and experience with non-EVM chains such as Solana, TON, and Sui.
- Experience with indexing and ETL at scale (Spark/Databricks).
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and managing services in Kubernetes.
- Contributions to open-source blockchain projects.
Technologies we use:
- Languages: Java, TypeScript
- Data Processing: Spark, Databricks, PostgreSQL
- Infrastructure: AWS (Serverless & EKS), Kubernetes, Terraform
- CI/CD: GitHub Actions
AI at Chainalysis
AI is not a feature at Chainalysis - it is a new way of working. One that turns instructions into work done, and helps us move faster than the threats we're built to counter, and we expect our employees to take ownership of the output and ensure quality. As the world's most trusted blockchain analytics platform, Chainalysis sits at a rare intersection of proprietary data, regulatory relationships and crypto expertise that makes it uniquely placed to shape and lead the next era of AI-driven intelligence - and we expect everyone here, regardless of role, to be an active part of it.
AI fluency is tied directly to how we measure performance and how we plan to win. There is no substitute for your own curiosity. We provide the tools, workflows, and space to experiment - but the expectation is that you develop these capabilities yourself, bring ideas, and collaborate across teams to reinvent the way work gets done. We are not using AI to do less. We are using it to do what was never possible before.
About Chainalysis
Chainalysis is the blockchain data platform, making it easy to connect the movement of digital assets to real-world services. Powered by deep blockchain data and AI, organizations can investigate illicit activity, manage risk exposure, and develop innovative market solutions built on the industry's most trusted blockchain intelligence. Our mission is to build trust in blockchains, blending safety and security with an unwavering commitment to growth and innovation.
You belong here.
