Location: Europe Workplace: Remote As a Backend Engineer on Coder's Enterprise Experience team, you'll build the features that help large organizations run Coder in production with confidence. The team owns what administrators and operators need to run Coder well. That covers how it scales, how it's upgraded, how reliably it performs, how it's observed and reported on, how activity is held accountable, and how it's secured. You'll join a cross-functional team of backend, platform, and QA engineers who own the operator experience end to end. You'll ship features from design through production and partner with product and design to solve real operator problems. WHAT YOU'LL DO HERE - Build features end to end, from a design you write within the team's existing approach through production rollout. - Write database migrations that follow the team's patterns for schema compatibility and safe upgrades. - Build the observability, reporting, and audit features administrators rely on to see what their deployment is doing. - Build features that keep enterprise deployments secure, following the team's security practices. - Help investigate and resolve scalability bottlenecks under production-like load, from database access patterns to concurrency in coderd. - Help resolve backend issues surfaced by Coder operators and administrators. - Document the features you build so a reviewer and the next engineer do not have to decode them. - Participate in code reviews, contribute to RFC-style design discussions, and join the on-call rotation. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR - 2+ years of professional software engineering experience. - Professional experience writing and shipping Go. - Working understanding of Go's concurrency model, including goroutines, channels, and the sync package. - Comfortable with SQL, schema changes, and writing migrations. - Strong verbal and written communication skills, including surfacing blockers and uncertainty early. - Solid debugging skills and the persistence to work a problem, and to escalate early when stuck. - A self-motivated, analytical engineer who enjoys difficult technical challenges. BONUS TACOS IF YOU HAVE - (Tacos? If you need an ice-breaker, ask how we say thanks by giving tacos!) - Experience investigating performance under real-world load, including debugging race conditions. - Experience with observability, audit, or security features in an enterprise product. - Experience with major cloud providers, Kubernetes, and container orchestration. - Experience building or operating distributed systems at a meaningful scale. - Curiosity about the latest developer tooling. OUR TECH STACK - Backend: Go, Postgres, Kubernetes, gRPC - Observability: Prometheus, Grafana - CI/CD: GitHub Actions - General: GitHub, Slack, Discord, Notion ABOUT CODER Coder is the leading platform for AI development Infrastructure, enabling enterprises to securely run human and AI-driven development workflows in consistent, governed environments. Your Purpose At Bitso, the Software Engineer on the Nexus Squad owns the reliability, scalability, and evolution of our mission-critical pay-in and pay-out systems, the financial backbone that moves billions of dollars worldwide. You will design and deliver event-driven, high-throughput solutions that ensure every pay-in and pay-out is fast, accurate, and resilient. Working closely with product, infrastructure, and compliance stakeholders, you will shape the technical direction of a domain where the bar for quality is exceptionally high, resilience is built through continuous learning, and every millisecond of performance matters — for the millions of retail users and the businesses that rely on Bitso to power their financial operations. Reports To This role reports to the Nexus Engineering Manager. Who You Are You are experienced in Java backend development, with a proven track record of shipping production systems at scale. You are familiar with event-driven architecture patterns (event sourcing, CQRS, sagas) and have hands-on experience operating Apache Kafka in high-throughput, real-money environments. You have designed and implemented distributed, fault-tolerant microservices that handle financial or similarly critical transactional data. You have solid experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred), including schema design, migrations, and query optimization. You are comfortable with cloud-native infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or equivalent), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines. You communicate complex technical concepts clearly in English, written and spoken, to engineering peers, product managers, and senior leadership. You work with a high degree of autonomy and ownership — you identify problems, propose solutions, and see them through to production. You are familiar with AI-assisted development flow and tools (Cursor, Claude, CodeRabbit). You have a strong sense of urgency and are comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-stakes fintech environment. Financial Domain (nice to have): Familiarity with payment rails, reconciliation or idempotent transaction processing in financial systems is a strong plus. What You Will Do Own pay-in and pay-out systems: design, build, and maintain the core infrastructure that processes financial transactions and moves billions of dollars worldwide. Architect event-driven solutions: design Kafka-based pipelines and workflows that guarantee correctness, ordering, and resilience at scale. Drive technical decisions: lead architecture discussions, define and use patterns, and set standards for the pay-in and pay-out domain in collaboration with the Nexus team. Deliver high-quality code: write clean, well-tested, high-performance Java code and champion engineering best practices through code reviews. Embrace AI-assisted development: leverage tools like Cursor, Claude, and CodeRabbit as part of your everyday workflow, contribute to skills and guardrails development, and apply Spec-Driven Development (SDD) practices to ensure solutions are well-defined, reviewable, and aligned before implementation begins. Ensure system reliability: proactively monitor, debug, and resolve production incidents with a focus on root-cause analysis and lasting fixes. Collaborate cross-functionally: partner with Product, Compliance, and Finance stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into sound technical solutions. Mentor and uplift: share knowledge with fellow engineers, contribute to internal tech talks, and foster a culture of continuous improvement within the squad. Improve observability: instrument services with comprehensive metrics, logs, and traces to enable rapid diagnosis and confident deployments. Research in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion suggests that individuals may hesitate to apply for jobs if they do not meet all the listed criteria. At Bitso, we value diversity and your unique strengths could be just what we're looking for. If this role excites you but you don't match every point in the description, we still want to hear from you.

At Xenon7, we work with leading enterprise clients and innovative startups on high-impact projects across Data, AI, Cloud, and Software Engineering. Our expertise in AI solution architecture and specialized technical talent allows us to partner with enterprise leaders on transformative initiatives, driving innovation and business growth. Job Summary We are seeking a high-caliber Forward Deployment Engineer (FDE) to sit at the intersection of enterprise AI platforms and executive Finance business functions for our Fortune 100 enterprise client. This role bridges advanced AI platform engineering with direct business impact—translating ambiguous financial challenges into working AI applications, deploying them into regulated client environments, and iterating in tight loops to drive measurable ROI. Rather than building static models or waiting for formal spec sheets, you will operate as a product-minded technical lead. You will prototype user-facing tools in days, deploy agentic and RAG workflows on top of enterprise data stacks (Databricks Genie), and ensure high adoption across FP&A, Controllership, Treasury, and CFO leadership. Key Responsibilities End-to-End AI Application Prototyping & Delivery Own the full lifecycle of AI solutions for Finance business units—from initial discovery with CFO stakeholders to production deployment, user adoption, and ROI measurement. Rapidly prototype vertical applications using Streamlit, Databricks Apps, FastAPI/Flask, or lightweight React interfaces within 1–2 weeks to gather real user feedback. Handle "last mile" execution: edge cases, data quirks, business rule exceptions, and user training to turn prototypes into sticky enterprise products. Agentic Systems & LLM Engineering Build production-grade vertical AI tools leveraging Databricks Genie (Genie Spaces, semantic models). Construct robust RAG pipelines incorporating advanced chunking, vector databases (Pinecone, Chroma, FAISS, Azure AI Search, Cortex Search), retrieval evaluation, grounding, and citation. Implement LLM orchestration frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex) and apply rigorous prompt engineering with hallucination and accuracy evaluation discipline. Enterprise Data & Regulated Integration Deploy applications inside heavily regulated enterprise environments, adhering strictly to RBAC, data residency, audit, and compliance constraints (SOX, GxP). Connect solutions to governed datasets, semantic models, and core enterprise platforms (SAP, Workday, Coupa, ERP) via secure REST APIs. Instrument all deployed apps with usage metrics, telemetry, and business outcome tracking from day one. Strategic Stakeholder Advisory & Pattern Extraction Work directly with senior Finance leadership (CFO office, FP&A, Controllership) to translate ambiguous operational friction into crisp technical roadmaps. Extract reusable code components, prompt templates, evaluation harnesses, and retrieval patterns into shared enterprise assets for broader deployment. Requirements Experience & Mindset Experience: 5+ years of hands-on software development and full-stack AI application deployment. Product-Shaped Builder: Strong bias for action; comfortable shipping rough prototypes in Week 1 over polished spec documents in Week 4. Ambiguity Tolerance: Proven ability to navigate vague business problems without predefined specifications. Stakeholder Communication: Outstanding ability to interface directly with senior business leaders without requiring intermediary Business Analysts. Must-Have Technical Stack Languages & Frameworks: Python, FastAPI/Flask, SQL, and UI frameworks (Streamlit, Databricks Apps, React). AI Platforms: Direct hands-on experience with Databricks Genie . LLM Engineering: Production experience with LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, vector search engines, and prompt evaluation harnesses. Cloud & DevOps: Deep working knowledge of Cloud platforms (Azure preferred, AWS/GCP acceptable), modern Git workflows, CI/CD, and basic MLOps awareness (observability, versioning via LangSmith, Datadog, etc.). Domain Competency (Finance Focus) Solid foundational understanding of core Finance business processes (FP&A, order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, record-to-report, close cycles) and common financial metrics (OPEX, EBITDA, gross margin, working capital). Nice-to-Haves & Certifications Prior FDE, Solutions Engineer, or Field Engineer experience at high-growth AI/Data companies (Palantir, Databricks, OpenAI, Anthropic). Industry background in Life Sciences, Pharma, Healthcare, or CPG enterprise Finance. Experience with enterprise Finance software (SAP S/4HANA, Veeva, Workday Adaptive, Oracle Financials). Certifications: Databricks Certified, or Azure AI Engineer Associate (AI-102). What This Role Is NOT Not a pure Data Scientist or ML Researcher: You will not be training or fine-tuning foundation models from scratch; you are applying existing models to business problems. Not a non-coding Architect: This is a 100% hands-on builder role. Not a pure Backend or MLOps Engineer: You must be comfortable owning the user-facing interface and direct business interaction.

What you will do Turn an incomplete brief into an agreed result and workable plan. Track cross-team dependencies, explain tradeoffs, raise blockers early and communicate changes to estimates. Confirm completion with the users. Build maintainable software and cloud/infrastructure API integrations. Handle credentials, pagination, retries, partial failures and repeated execution so unattended workflows remain safe and reliable. Transform billing, usage and inventory data into repeatable outputs. Reconcile totals and periods, apply agreed allocation rules and make missing or uncertain mappings visible. Extend inventory, network-policy and capacity automation using existing systems. Retain necessary human decisions and verify the operational result. Deliver changes through version-controlled code and CI. Understand live state, test recovery and release safely; diagnose failures across code, Linux, APIs, data and networking. Own monitoring, actionable alerts, documentation and maintenance. Leave systems another engineer can operate, and use coding agents while remaining responsible for design, code, tests and outcomes. Requirements Must have Senior-level experience, typically 5+ years in software, infrastructure, platform or automation engineering. You can explain your own design decisions, implementation and operational results. Strong production Python, software design, testing, debugging and API integration skills. You can understand unfamiliar code and improve existing systems. Hands-on AWS experience and solid Linux/networking fundamentals, including diagnosis across host, service, network and cloud boundaries. Practical SQL and data validation: joins, units, periods, ownership mappings and reconciliation. You distinguish evidence from assumptions. Safe infrastructure delivery through IaC and CI: state, drift, idempotency, dependencies and rollback, using tools such as Terraform/OpenTofu and Ansible. Demonstrated advanced coding-agent workflows for real engineering tasks. You plan and delegate substantial work, supply context, run agents without continuous supervision within defined permissions and stop conditions, and independently explain, debug, test and verify their output. Autonomous delivery and clear collaboration: investigate problems, obtain decisions, challenge unsafe or unnecessarily complex approaches and follow through. English B2 or higher for technical discussions, written decisions and internal customer communication. Nice to have Experience with cloud billing or FinOps tooling (e.g. AWS CUR/FOCUS, Athena), inventory or event-driven integrations (e.g. NetBox or similar), network policies, flow monitoring, identity and access management, capacity tooling, additional cloud platforms, OpenNebula, Kubernetes, Go, or self-service systems. Our environment includes Python, Ansible, Terraform/OpenTofu, GitLab CI/CD, Grafana, and related observability tools. Prior experience with every tool or domain is not required. We value the ability to quickly learn unfamiliar technologies, products, and internal business rules. Benefits What's in it for you? A focus on professional development. Interesting and challenging projects. Fully remote work with flexible working hours, which allows you to schedule your day and work from any location worldwide. Paid 24 days of vacation per year, 10 days of national holidays, and unlimited sick leaves. Compensation for private medical insurance. Co-working and gym/sports reimbursement. Budget for education. The opportunity to receive a reward for the most innovative idea that the company can patent. By applying for this position, you consent to the processing of your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy ( https://cloudlinux.com/candidate-privacy-notice ), which provides detailed information on how we maintain and handle your data.

Location: Remote - United States About Vercel: Vercel is the agentic infrastructure company, freeing people and agents to ship what's next. For more than a decade we've helped builders move from idea to production with speed, security, and exceptional developer experience. Now we're scaling our products for both agents and people to ship and run software, built in the open and trusted by OpenAI, PayPal, Ramp, Supreme, and millions of developers worldwide. About the role AI Gateway gives developers one place to connect applications and agents to hundreds of models with one API key. It handles provider routing and fallbacks, unifies billing and observability, and lets teams manage spend and security controls across production AI workloads. Designing this well is a systems problem. A developer should be able to choose the right model, make and verify a first request, diagnose a failed request, and configure routing, budgets, credentials, and security controls without losing sight of the application they are trying to build. The right interface might be in the dashboard, on the public model catalog, in the CLI, in an API response, or in code. You will be the Design Engineer for AI Gateway, owning product design and frontend implementation across those surfaces. You will work with customers, a Product Manager, and engineers to understand the problem, explore solutions, build the production experience, ship it, and learn from what happens after launch. AI Gateway is live, the model ecosystem changes every week, and the team can move from an observed problem to production quickly. This is a rare chance to use your product judgment, design craft, and code to shape a developer product and ship the experience yourself. You will be the design owner embedded with a Product Manager and a dedicated engineering team. You will also have the Product Design team around you for critique, collaboration, and support. AI Gateway will be your main product area, with room to pursue design-led improvements across Vercel. You will report to the Design Team. If you’re based within a pre-determined commuting distance of one of our offices (SF, NY, London, or Berlin), the role includes in-office anchor days on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday. If you're located beyond that distance, the role is fully remote. For location-specific details, please connect with our recruiting team. What you'll do Own product design and frontend implementation for meaningful parts of the journey from discovering a model to making a first successful request and operating AI in production. Design and build production experiences across the website, dashboard, CLI, and APIs, choosing the right medium for each problem. Make models, providers, credentials, routing, budgets, logs, performance, privacy, and governance understandable, then create patterns that extend across new providers, modalities, and workloads. Talk directly with customers and use product data to understand problems, define success, make tradeoffs, and improve what ships. Own quality after launch, including visual and interaction craft, accessibility, performance, resilience, instrumentation, and edge cases. Use coding agents to explore and implement ideas quickly, while testing, debugging, and taking responsibility for what ships. What you need Your work shows what you personally identified, designed, built, shipped, and learned after launch. You build production-quality web applications with React and TypeScript and can contribute confidently in a large, existing codebase. You bring strong visual and interaction craft and have made technical or data-rich products understandable without removing the control advanced users need. You can move between graphical interfaces, CLI workflows, API behavior, and implementation details, treating accessibility, performance, failure recovery, and instrumentation as part of the design. You use customer research and product data to make decisions, communicate your reasoning clearly, challenge ideas constructively, and change direction when the evidence changes. You use coding agents in your daily work, but you can explain, test, debug, and take responsibility for the code they help produce. There is no required path into this role. You may come from product design, frontend engineering, creative development, or a career that does not fit a standard title. We care about the quality of what you have shipped and the judgment behind it. Bonus if you Have experience with developer tools, infrastructure products, model marketplaces, or observability experiences. Have worked with AI models, providers, inference platforms, guardrails, or AI application tooling. Have experience with APIs, command-line tools, structured product content, or agent-facing interfaces. Have built an application or agent with Vercel’s AI SDK or AI Gateway. Location: Canada Remote; Argentina Remote Workplace: Remote ABOUT THE TEAM Teams do their best work when they’re aligned, and alignment depends on shared context. Today, the context that matters most to a team is scattered across a dozen tools: tickets in Jira and Linear, specs in Confluence and Google Docs, decisions buried in meeting notes, threads in Slack and Teams. Every new conversation starts with someone hunting it down. We’re changing that. The Integrated Workflows team is building the layer that brings a team’s real working context into Mural, so people (and the AI working alongside them) can align on shared knowledge and design the workflows they need. When this works, a person opens a canvas and the project, the open work, the last three meetings, and the doc everyone keeps referencing are already there. No team should have to start from a blank canvas. That’s the problem we’re solving, and we’re early enough that the person in this seat will shape how it’s done. YOUR MISSION This isn’t connector maintenance. You’ll be defining how an AI-native product reaches into the outside world: what context to pull, how to represent it so models can reason over it, how to respect permissions and privacy across systems that each model them differently, and how to make all of that feel effortless to the end user. Few teams anywhere are working at this intersection of AI, integrations, and collaborative product design. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Design and build connectors, including MCP-based connectors, that bring context from systems of record, docs and wikis (Confluence, Google Docs, Notion, and others), meeting notes, and communication tools into the Mural canvas - Shape how that context is modeled, normalized, and made useful to users, so the canvas becomes a live picture of how a team works rather than a snapshot of one meeting - Bridge product and engineering: translate messy realities (different auth models, data shapes, rate limits, permission systems, partner review processes) into a product experience that just works - Build the integration platform, the shared frameworks, services, and patterns that let any team at Mural ship connected, context-aware experiences without starting from scratch - Own the security and trust posture of everything crossing our system boundary, including permissions, data handling, and graceful behavior when an upstream service misbehaves - Maintain and evolve our public API with the backwards-compatibility discipline a published interface demands - Lead projects end to end, from research and prototyping through release and iteration, with a bias toward getting value into customers’ hands quickly - Use AI tools as a core part of how you build, and help the team get better at it - Mentor colleagues, contribute to technical design, and raise the bar on code quality, testing, and documentation WHAT YOU'LL BRING - A product mindset: you care about why something is being built and who it’s for, not just how - 5+ years building and shipping production software at scale, with fluency in TypeScript/JavaScript and Node.js (React and Python are a plus) - Hands-on experience integrating with third-party APIs and platforms: OAuth and token lifecycle, webhooks, rate limiting and backoff, pagination, versioning, and degrading gracefully when things fail - Genuine curiosity about AI-driven products and development practices, and a willingness to experiment - A track record of designing scalable, reliable systems and delivering them iteratively - Strong communication skills and comfort leading technical discussions and navigating trade-offs NICE TO HAVE - Familiarity with the Model Context Protocol (MCP) or interest in learning it - Experience with the Microsoft ecosystem (Teams, Office add-ins) or shipping through a partner marketplace or app review process - Experience designing or maintaining a public developer API - Background in high-growth or startup environments Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. EQUAL OPPORTUNITY We will ensure that individuals with disabilities are provided reasonable accommodation to participate in the job application or interview process, to perform essential job functions, and to receive other benefits and privileges of employment. Please contact us to request accommodation.
