WHY WORK AT HIGGSFIELD AI?
Higgsfield AI is the fastest-scaling generative AI company in history, hitting $1B in annual revenue run rate, 30M+ users worldwide, 6M+ generations per day, and powering 390 of Fortune 500 brands.
We're building at the absolute frontier of AI-powered video creation and next-generation creative tools. Joining Higgsfield means becoming part of a high-impact team shaping the future of AI-native experiences, at a company that isn't just moving fast, but rewriting what fast looks like.
WHAT ORGANIC GROWTH MEANS AT HIGGSFIELD
Organic growth here is the set of channels that convert without media spend: search, AI assistants, and the content ecosystem they pull from. The channel has already brought in $2M in under a month, and conversion keeps climbing.
So this isn't an experiment in the dark. It's a proven channel that nobody has figured out how to scale yet, because the rules are still being written.
Millions of people now ask ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity which tool to use instead of typing it into Google. What those answers say about Higgsfield decides who discovers us and whether they choose us.
An Organic Growth Manager here is a high-agency operator who:
- treats SEO, AEO and GEO as one channel, not three disciplines;
- turns observations into hypotheses, tests them, and scales what moves the number;
- builds systems and automations instead of doing the same research by hand every week;
- moves work through adjacent teams, not just through their own hands;
- owns the line from visibility to sign-ups, not just rankings.
WHAT YOU WILL OWN
Visibility across search and AI assistants
- Understand how Higgsfield and competitors appear across Google and across LLMs — and why;
- Map how people actually ask for products in our category, and identify the queries worth winning;
- Find the gaps and the weak spots, including results that currently work against us.
The source ecosystem
- Understand which sites, communities, creators and formats different engines trust and retrieve;
- Shape what information exists about Higgsfield online and how our category gets described;
- Work with content, product and external partners to turn that into things that actually get published.
Measurement and experimentation
- Connect visibility, citations, traffic, sign-ups and revenue — the channel is judged on conversion, not vanity metrics;
- Build lightweight systems (Sheets, APIs, scripts, automation tools) to cut manual work;
- Continuously test new sources, formats and tools as the engines evolve.
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We don't require experience in AEO or GEO — almost nobody has it. We care about how you solve unfamiliar problems, and about what you've already delivered somewhere else.
Must-have
- A measurable result you can walk us through. Which metric you moved, by how much, and what part of it was yours;
- You turn data into decisions — and can explain why that decision and not another
- Technically curious: you figure out new tools, systems and data on your own;
- Has built or automated something before, rather than doing the same thing by hand every week;
- Can move work through adjacent teams and external sites, strong cross-functional and partner skills
- Fluent English, and comfortable working with content when needed;
- High ownership: you don't wait for a task list, you understand the goal and figure out how to get there;
Good to have
- Experience in SEO, growth, analytics, content, engineering or automation;
- Familiarity with LLM retrieval, RAG, or technical SEO;
- Your own project, product or business — anything you built without a brief;
- Strong understanding of the GenAI ecosystem.
WHAT THIS ROLE IS NOT
- It's not a channel with an existing playbook to execute;
- It's not a role where someone hands you a task list;
- It's not a fit if you prefer strategy over execution, or want predictable 9-to-5 workdays.
THE DEAL
- Competitive salary in USD, reviewed as you grow;
- On-site role in Almaty, Kazakhstan;
- Access to Higgsfield products and the AI tools we use internally;
- Breakfast, lunch and good coffee on us;

In 365 days we shipped 305 releases — roughly five years of work at most companies. New models, features and workflows land every week, and each one has to be explained to millions of users in a way that makes them understand it, want to try it, and remember it.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
- Writing about releases, features and updates for our blog, guides and newsletters;
- Translating product context into language users actually understand;
- Working cross-functionally — inside CX, and with the product and marketing teams;
- Shaping how Higgsfield sounds: the words we use about ourselves, how we're read, how we're remembered.
YOUR MUST HAVES
- English C1+ — the language you think in, not the one you translate into;
- Real craft with text in English and Russian: you write from scratch, edit for different audiences, and feel rhythm. You can write simply and you can write densely. You understand structure and know how words move people;
- A nitpicker, in the best sense: you see a weak sentence and can't leave it. You notice where a paragraph sags, where an analogy doesn't hold, where cutting three words makes it stronger;
- A-player mindset: ownership, speed, taste, and genuine interest in AI;
- Comfort with the pace — releases ship weekly and the writing has to keep up.
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience writing for a tech, SaaS or AI product;
- Background in product documentation, developer content or technical writing;
- Familiarity with the GenAI landscape and the tools creators actually use;
- Experience working alongside product teams rather than downstream from them.
THE DEAL
- Competitive salary in USD, reviewed as you grow;
- On-site role in our Almaty office;
- Access to Higgsfield products and the AI tools we use internally;
- Breakfast, lunch and good coffee on us;
- Full-time position with high ownership and growth potential.

About us
Aave Labs began with a simple question: how do we make financial services like borrowing, saving, and earning more accessible globally?
We built the Aave Protocol, now the world’s largest and most trusted onchain lending market, connecting decentralized finance with individuals, traditional finance, and fintech.
Today, we build trusted, high-quality products that expand access to lending, credit, and savings globally
Our culture
We build trusted products that help people access and discover economic opportunities.
We hold a high bar for quality and craftsmanship. No detail is too small. Trust depends on it.
We’re a global team building products people can actually use, turning complex technology into something simple and reliable.
We stay aligned, move quickly, and think long term, while keeping teams lean and focused on impact.
About the Role
We're hiring a Staff Backend Engineer to build the backend infrastructure behind Aave App, a consumer savings app that makes onchain financial products simple, secure, and intuitive, and the vault products that power it.
The role focuses on the systems between blockchain protocols and the consumer experiences built around them. This includes account and wallet services, transaction orchestration, vault management, monitoring and rebalancing, partner vault integrations, high-reliability blockchain indexing, balances and yield data, funding and withdrawal flows, notifications, and performant, well-documented APIs for mobile and web clients.
You'll own a broad technical area with high ownership and turn ambiguous product goals into reliable production systems. Correctness, security, and operability are critical: the services you build will support customer transactions, sensitive account flows, user funds, and financial data across both onchain and offchain infrastructure.
You'll also work closely with Quant Engineers, who own the financial models, assumptions, and calibration behind vault allocation and rebalancing, and with smart contract engineers, who own onchain integration and enforcement. Backend owns the production systems, data pipelines, and services that run those models.
How you can make an impact:
Design, build, and operate backend services for Aave App across onboarding, funding, savings, vaults, withdrawals, portfolio data, and customer communications
Build vault management, monitoring, and rebalancing systems, including partner vault integrations, and work with Quant Engineers to turn reviewed allocation models into reliable production services
Build transaction-orchestration and high-throughput indexing services that safely prepare, submit, monitor, and reconcile onchain activity across its full lifecycle
Integrate with smart contracts, RPC providers, account infrastructure, payment partners, and other external services, designing for degraded dependencies and partial failure
Lead technical reviews for high-value systems and improve testing, observability, alerting, incident response, and deployment practices across the backend codebase
Work closely with mobile, web, product, design, protocol, smart contract, quant, security, data, and operations teams to deliver coherent consumer experiences
Raise the engineering standard through hands-on delivery, pragmatic architecture, clear documentation, and review that helps other engineers grow
Let's connect if you have:
6+ years of backend engineering experience, including ownership of complex production systems
Strong backend programming skills. Production experience with Rust is highly desirable, but we'll also consider strong systems experience in Go, C++, Zig, or Java
Experience building distributed, event-driven, or data-intensive systems with clear reliability and performance requirements
Strong knowledge of API/GraphQL design, PostgreSQL or another relational database, caching, queues, and observability
Experience with blockchain systems or other financial infrastructure involving real capital, particularly transaction signing, private-key or key-management flows, wallet infrastructure, and onchain transaction lifecycles, is highly desirable
Strong judgement around threat modelling, sensitive data, permissions, and the operational risks of systems handling financial value
Nice to haves:
Experience reading smart contracts and integrating with EVM-compatible networks, smart accounts, account abstraction, bridges, vaults, or DeFi protocols
Experience designing constraint, optimization, solver, or allocation systems
Experience building consumer fintech, savings, wallet, exchange, or payments products at meaningful scale
Experience with cross-chain indexing, large-scale data ingestion, Kafka, ClickHouse, or similar infrastructure
Haven’t quite met all the criteria? Let’s not miss out on the chance to speak. Whilst you might not meet every single requirement, you might bring other, more exciting skills to the companies!
Equal opportunities statement:
Aave Labs celebrates diversity and views each and every team member as a separate individual with their own unique identity. No matter your race, religion, gender, ethnicity, age, disability, sexual orientation or even the wallet you use, we welcome you at Aave Labs. As an equal opportunities employer, we take accountability and believe in everyone's potential to build, create and inspire changes. With a mission to build a diverse workforce, we are proud to foster a working environment in which everyone can feel safe and valued for who they are.

Here at Humanoid, we believe in a future where robots amplify human potential. That’s why we’ve set out on a mission to build the world’s most capable, commercially-scalable, and safe humanoid robots. We’re bringing that mission to life with HMND‑01 - our rapidly developed humanoid platform being deployed in real industrial environments - and we’re growing the team to take it even further.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re hiring a Finance Operations Analyst to join our Finance team in London. You will run and improve the core operational processes that keep finance moving across our global entities, from supplier onboarding and invoice processing through to payment runs, expenses and reconciliations, and you’ll help us build an automated, well-controlled procure-to-pay process as we scale into manufacturing volumes.
Accounts payable is the core of the role today, but this is deliberately a broad finance operations position rather than a purely transactional one. As the finance function grows, there will be opportunities to take ownership of additional accounting processes, including accounts receivable, reconciliations, month-end close and other areas of the finance function. You’ll help design the processes, not just run them.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Finance Operations
- Process supplier invoices end to end across multiple entities and currencies, including coding, approvals and matching to purchase orders.
- Prepare and execute weekly multi-currency payment runs with clean approvals and a full audit trail.
- Own supplier onboarding and vendor master data, including bank detail verification and compliance checks.
- Administer employee expenses and corporate cards on our spend platform, driving policy adoption and timely receipts.
- Manage supplier statements and queries, and act as the go-to contact for suppliers and internal teams.
Accounting and Close
- Deliver AP cutoff, accruals, aged creditors analysis and supplier statement reconciliations to the monthly close calendar.
- Support bank reconciliations and other month-end close tasks, taking on more ownership as the function develops.
- Work alongside the Senior Group Accountant to ensure operational data feeds cleanly into the group close.
Analysis and Insight
- Produce supplier spend and payment analysis, and AP ageing and working capital reporting to support cash management.
- Identify opportunities to improve payment terms, purchasing controls and process efficiency, and support ad hoc finance reporting and analysis.
Systems and Process
- Use our spend and AP tooling, including its AI features, to drive touchless invoice processing.
- Support the rollout of PO-based purchasing and three-way match as procurement volumes grow.
- Support integrations between our spend tooling and ERP, and document processes and controls clearly as we build them.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- 2 to 4 years’ experience in finance operations, accounting or accounts payable, ideally within a fast-growing or multi-entity environment.
- Experience with modern spend and AP platforms (for example Ramp, Payhawk or Tipalti) and ERP systems (SAP, NetSuite, Xero or similar).
- Strong controls instincts, including accuracy, segregation of duties and a clean audit trail.
- Comfortable with data and analysis, using spreadsheets and finance systems to spot trends, errors and opportunities.
- Highly organised and process-driven, with the initiative to improve and document as you go.
- Comfortable with high volume and ambiguity in a fast-scaling startup environment.
- Ambition to grow beyond finance operations into broader accounting and finance responsibility.
- An accounting qualification, or being on the journey towards one, is a plus and can be supported.
WHAT WE OFFER
- Competitive equity: stock options with meaningful upside as we scale.
- 30+ paid days off, including 23 days of annual leave, all UK bank holidays, and additional company closure days (including Christmas to New Year shutdown).
- Private healthcare, including virtual and in-person care.
- Free daily breakfast, catered lunch, and snacks in-office.
- Work at the frontier: collaborate daily with world-class engineers, researchers, and product experts building the next generation of AI and humanoid robotics.
- Real ownership: direct access to leadership, meaningful input, and the ability to drive key initiatives from day one.

ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re hiring a Senior Group Accountant to join our Finance team in London. Reporting to the Global Financial Controller, you will be responsible for monthly and statutory reporting and group consolidation across our global entities, and will help build the reporting, close and audit processes that carry Humanoid from high-growth startup to public-company standards. This is a hands-on role for a technically strong, audit-trained accountant who wants their work to become the foundation of a global finance function.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Reporting, Close and Consolidation
- Run the month-end and year-end close to the group close calendar, including journals, accruals, prepayments, fixed assets and payroll postings, and own full balance sheet reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly management reporting and support the wider reporting pack for internal and external stakeholders, including leadership, investors, lenders and auditors.
- Operate and improve the group consolidation across all entities, including intercompany reconciliation and eliminations, and multi-currency translation.
- Prepare group cash flow reporting and supporting schedules, working with FP&A and Treasury as the function grows.
Technical Accounting
- Own technical accounting assessments and prepare accounting papers and memos on judgemental areas and complex transactions.
- Develop accounting policies across revenue, inventory, R&D, leases and share-based payments as the business scales.
- Lead the accounting for inventory and manufacturing costs as we move from R&D and prototypes into production, including standard costing, cost of sales and stock provisioning.
- Support the transition of group reporting from FRS 102 to IFRS.
Statutory Reporting and Audit
- Prepare UK statutory financial statements and support local filings across our other jurisdictions alongside external advisors.
- Own the external audit process end to end, including PBC lists, auditor relationships and technical position papers.
Controls, Systems and Process
- Build and document internal controls as the group scales, ensuring we stay compliant and are ready for the reporting standards expected of a public company.
- Document processes and controls as you build them, and play a central role in our ERP build-out and finance systems integrations.
- Use AI and modern workflow tooling to accelerate the close, automate reconciliation and reporting, and find efficiencies across the function.
- Collaborate end to end across the finance team and the wider business, including tax, FP&A, finance operations, supply chain and people teams, picking up work that falls outside the standard remit as an early-stage company.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- ACA or ACCA qualified (CIMA considered), ideally audit-firm trained, with 4+ years’ relevant post-qualified or equivalent accounting experience across multi-entity, multi-currency groups, ideally including US entities.
- Strong technical knowledge of FRS 102 and IFRS, with experience preparing statutory accounts, drafting technical papers and managing external audits end to end.
- Hands-on close and consolidation experience, comfortable owning journals, reconciliations, intercompany and eliminations rather than only reviewing them.
- Experience with inventory and cost accounting, standard costing or cost centre reporting in a manufacturing, physical goods or high-volume environment.
- A builder’s mindset, with experience in a high-growth environment where process, controls and documentation still need to be created.
- Comfortable in a modern finance stack, using AI and automation to speed up close and reporting; ERP implementation experience (SAP, NetSuite or similar) is a plus.
- Experience in a venture-backed startup or scale-up, ideally hardware, robotics or deep tech, is a plus.
- Pension scheme with 8% total contribution (5% employee, 3% employer) on full earnings.

7M+ app downloads. 2M+ monthly active users. 7,000+ partner stores. US$310M+ raised from leading global investors.
Manila-based, globally distributed, and hybrid-first — our team spans 45+ countries.
If you want to solve complex problems at scale and impact how millions of people access and manage money, come build with us.
Southeast Asia's fintech moment starts here.
About the role:
You'll lead the Finance side of the core banking system project — turning accounting needs, regulatory obligations, and product-administration realities into system requirements, and delivering against them.
What you'll do:
- Lead the core banking system project from the Finance side: own the plan end to end — scope, milestones, dependencies, and risk tracking — and act as Finance's subject-matter voice across vendor selection, design, and rollout.
- Run UAT, data-migration validation, and cutover planning from the Finance side, coordinating closely with IT/Engineering and vendors.
- Connect the dots across Finance, IT/Engineering, and Compliance — surfacing regulatory gaps tied to system limitations and helping close them, and keeping Finance leadership informed on progress, risk, and dependencies.
What you'll own:
- Turn accounting needs, regulatory obligations (such as BSP/MORB), and product-administration realities into concrete system requirements, and manage delivery against them.
- Build and drive the accounting-backlog remediation plan with real milestones, pulling in Finance colleagues and outside help where it makes sense.
- Get month-end and period-end close and reporting, based on the core banking system, integrated directly with the GL — and keep it that way.
- Take the Odoo accounting-automation work into properly owned, documented, controlled, and audit-ready process.
- Identify and prioritise efficiency gains — automating manual entries, reconciliations, and reporting, using AI where it applies — to cut team effort and errors.
- Contribute to IPO-readiness work wherever it touches financial systems and controls.
What makes you a strong fit:
- 10+ years of experience with a strong track record in finance/accounting project management.
- A solid grip on accounting fundamentals and the close process.
- Proven automation experience — you've led or driven process-automation initiatives, not just used automated tools — including practical Odoo (or a comparable ERP) experience for accounting automation.
- Strong IT literacy: comfortable with system architecture, data flows, and technical requirements — enough to bridge Finance and IT/Engineering without a translator.
- Strong project-management discipline: scoping, milestone tracking, risk management, and stakeholder communication across Finance, IT/Engineering, and Compliance.
- Ability to turn messy, ambiguous problems into a plan with real milestones.
What we offer:
OWNERSHIP AND FLEXIBILITY
- Stock option plan — four-year vesting with a 25% cliff after the first year
- Hybrid-first work environment
- Company-provided tools and equipment
- Office in Bonifacio Global City, Manila — a modern, walkable district at the centre of the Philippines' growing tech scene
HEALTH AND TIME OFF
- Medical insurance support for you and your family through co-funding or reimbursement, depending on your location and subject to policy limits
- Access to an internal mental health support specialist
- 22 vacation days, Philippine public holidays, and 15 sick days
- 105 days of paid maternity leave and up to 14 days of paid paternity leave for employees relocating to Manila
RELOCATION AND FAMILY SUPPORT
- Relocation support for you, your family — including flights, two weeks of accommodation, visas, paperwork, and logistics
- Reimbursement of eligible pet relocation expenses
- USD 2,500 per year for flights home
- Baby and family stipends for employees relocating to Manila: USD 1,000 per month for each child under two and USD 500 per month for each child aged two to 18
GROWTH AND TEAM EXPERIENCE
- Opportunities to learn and share your expertise through internal expert meetups, external conferences, speaking opportunities, and industry publications
- Company-sponsored trips to Manila to meet and work with your team in person
- Regular team offsites, sports activities, and team events
- High-performing teams can earn a dedicated beach house week in Southeast Asia

HEALTH CAN’T WAIT.
Not for symptoms to get worse. Not for a six‑month appointment. Not for a system to catch up. But that’s exactly how healthcare works today. You wait, until you can’t.
Alan exists to end the wait.
Health is a universal right, and we believe this right can only become real when it’s coupled with prevention. We need to stop treating health as something we repair and start treating it as something we build, every day. It’s not solely a question of willpower. It’s the healthcare system itself that needs to work for everyone, in a sustainable way.
So we are building the new standard in prevention insurance. Alan is the first company that integrates insurance, prevention, and care into a single, acclaimed user experience.
We are on an incredible journey to build a global leading company, with a unique culture https://alan.com/en/careers. We already partner with 40K+ companies of all sizes, serving more than 1M+ members, and have reached €800M+ in ARR.
Prevention as the new norm. That's what we're building with our team of 1000+ people. If it speaks to you: we're hiring across France, Spain, Belgium, and Canada. And beyond.
MISSION
Alan is scaling internationally (800+ employees, 100+ healthcare professionals, 5+ countries) and needs IT Engineers to build and own the internal technology platform every Alaner works on: identity and provisioning, endpoint and SaaS security, the tooling behind our clinics, and the automation that keeps IT from scaling linearly with headcount.
The scope below is what the team owns, not a checklist for one person. You'll be staffed on one or two of these areas at a time, according to your strengths and interests, and it will evolve through time based on company needs and personal appetite.
Staying close to users keeps us building the right things: you'll spend up to one day a week on IT support, seeing first-hand where friction lives and what's worth automating next.
SCOPE
⚙️ PLATFORM & AUTOMATION
- Own and extend automations on Alan Home, our internal provisioning engine
- Maintain, extend and improve helpdesk automation, SaaS provisioning flows, and onboarding/offboarding pipelines
- Own the meeting room AV and room-booking platform as a product, replicable across offices
🔑 IDENTITY & ACCESS
- Own the IT side of the employee lifecycle (onboarding, offboarding, mobility between jobs and countries) across Google Workspace, SSO/SAML and our SaaS ecosystem.
- Grow our role-based access model: extend it to more tools and refine the permission groups, so access is granted by role rather than case by case
- Make employee lifecycle events reliable, fast and auditable end-to-end
- Own access reviews and least-privilege models; produce and maintain the evidence our auditors rely on
- Own SaaS procurement and license management: vendor relationships, renewals, and cost optimization across our stack
🔒 ENDPOINT & SAAS SECURITY
- Own the Mac fleet in Kandji: enrollment at scale, role-based blueprints, fleet compliance
- Cloudflare WARP, SaaS security controls
- Maintain and strengthen our ISO 27001 certification and drive ACPR and pentest remediation on the endpoint and platform scope
🩺 HEALTH PROFESSIONALS IT
- The IT layer behind Alan's clinics: practitioner tooling, equipment, access
- Role and permission automation for healthcare professionals, and their support and escalation process
🌍 INTERNATIONALISATION
- Make international expansion something IT accelerates, not something it slows down: a repeatable process where every new market (Canada, KSA, Armenia...) launches on our standard stack from day one
- Bring acquired entities onto that same platform
MILESTONES
First 3 months
- Acquire technical knowledge on Alan's platform: Alan Home, Google Workspace/SSO, Kandji, Cloudflare WARP
- Take one project end-to-end and ship a first increment
- Join the IT oncall team as technical escalation
First 6 months
- Own a workstream end-to-end
- Deliver one automation or hardening initiative end-to-end
- Take up documentation and automation on your scope and reduce significantly the bus factor on it
- Mentor IT teammates on your core expertise
First year
- Deliver measurable IT toil reduction on your scope
- Set the technical standards on your domain: how we build, document and review it
- Build strong cross-functional partnerships (Engineering, Security, Workplace, Clinic, People, Audit)
- Contribute to hiring and onboarding new teammates
3 years
- Lead major projects end-to-end across several communities
- Be the reference the team relies on across at least two domains
- Mentor the IT team and beyond, and scale IT without a linear increase in manual work
As the community grows, there is room to take on more responsibility: leading a crew, owning cross-community projects, mentoring, hiring.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Must-have - Technical/hard skills:
- 3+ years in IT engineering, platform, systems or corporate engineering, with real ownership of production-facing systems
- Depth in at least one area (platform & automation, identity, endpoint & security) and demonstrated range beyond it.
- You write code: not as a full-time software engineer, but Python, APIs and pull requests in a shared repo should feel normal
- Structured problem-solving: diagnoses methodically, asks the right clarifying questions, thinks about failure modes and rollback
- Comfort with regulated environments: health data, ACPR, ISO 27001, HDS
- Automation & AI appetite: uses AI tools smartly to accelerate their own delivery, with an instinct for what should be automated or delegated to AI rather than repeated
Must-have - Behavioral / soft skills:
- Ownership & autonomy: drives topics forward without hand-holding, including when they cross into someone else's perimeter
- Written communication: Alan is written-first; decisions get argued in public documents and challenged by people outside your team
- Pragmatic judgment: balances "perfect" vs. "good enough", decides with incomplete information
- Documentation culture: reduces bus factor through clear documentation and knowledge sharing
Nice-to-have skills / Bonus points if you have:
- Experience with an internal provisioning or IdP-driven automation platform
- Kandji or another MDM at scale
- Cloudflare Zero Trust / WARP, Datadog
- Audit remediation experience (ISO 27001, HDS)
- Multi-country rollouts, or IT integration after an acquisition
- Having mentored, coached or led a (small) crew
- Health or healthtech ecosystem familiarity

MISSION
Alan is scaling internationally (900+ employees, 100+ healthcare professionals, 5+ countries) and needs IT Operations Specialists to own device security, SaaS platforms, identity & access, and the daily IT experience of every Alaner, while contributing to build projects that remove operational toil.
IT at Alan is more than just a helpdesk. Operations and support ('Run') take roughly 60% of your time initially, while the rest goes toward owning project-based initiatives ('Build') tailored to your experience level.
As you ramp up alongside senior engineers, your focus will naturally shift toward more build-focused work with wider impact.
The scope below is what the team owns, not a checklist for one person. We staff people according to their strengths and interests, and it evolves over time.
SCOPE
🛟 SUPPORT & ONCALL
- Own L1/L2 oncall for 900+ Alaners across 5+ countries, with a clear escalation path to engineers
- Triage, communicate to users during incidents, and escalate appropriately
- Document recurring issues and reduce ticket volume through self-service

- Maintain role-based Kandji blueprints and least-privilege configurations
- Contribute to device compliance across all countries (MDM, EDR, FileVault) and to audit evidence
- Own the physical side: laptop locker, hardware inventory, office equipment
- Take over day-to-day device operations as we bring them back in-house from our outsourced provider
🔑 IDENTITY, ACCESS & SAAS PLATFORMS
- Own onboarding and offboarding end-to-end, across both automated and manually-managed tools
- Administer Google Workspace, SSO/SAML, licences and access reviews
- Manage day-to-day vendor relationships and procurement on your scope
⚙️ BUILD
- Own a build project end-to-end, with a more experienced engineer to pair with and learn from
- Examples from the current roadmap: rebuilding the onboarding intake, the meeting room audiovisual equipment and room-booking revamp, the IT playbook for new offices, ISO 27001 / ACPR evidence collection
- Ship automation and self-service tooling that measurably reduces IT toil
MILESTONES
First 2 months
- Join IT oncall rotation (helpdesk) with buddy/shadowing support
- Discover Alan's processes, stack (Kandji, Apple Business Manager), SaaS ecosystem, and identity tools (Google Workspace, SSO, Alan Home)
- Handle most typical IT operations issues autonomously (equipment, SaaS access, account provisioning)
First 6 months
- Handle IT oncall shifts autonomously, solving most problems that do not require engineer input
- Own onboarding/offboarding workflows end-to-end
- Have wide knowledge of Alan's processes, equipment, and tools
- Ship a first project
First year
- Be regarded as an expert on at least one topic beyond the oncall rotation (e.g. MDM, SaaS admin, compliance documentation)
- Contribute on device compliance improvements (MDM, EDR, FileVault) across all countries
- Ship automation or self-service projects that measurably reduce IT toil, with limited guidance
- Lead small to medium IT projects end-to-end
3 years
- Fully autonomous on the User Experience & Platform workstreams
- Lead medium to high-complexity IT projects end-to-end
- Mentor newer team members, reduce bus factor through documentation, automation and knowledge sharing
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Must-have - Technical/hard skills:
- 1-3 years in IT operations (or strong internship / student association background in a tech environment): device management (MDM, ideally Kandji), SaaS administration, basic identity & access management (Google Workspace, SSO)
- Operational reflexes: can triage issues, communicate to users during incidents, and escalate appropriately. Has oncall or production support experience
- Automation & AI appetite: scripting basics (Python, Bash) or low-code, and an instinct for what should be automated or delegated to AI rather than repeated
- Documentation mindset: writes clear, structured documentation
- Learning velocity: Picks up new tools and processes quickly.
Must-have - Behavioral / soft skills:
- Written-First Communication: Clear, effective written communicator who instinctively documents workflows, shares knowledge transparently, and thrives in an asynchronous work culture.
- Empathetic Problem-Solving: Balanced user-first service mindset with operational pragmatism—delighting colleagues while diagnosing root causes rather than applying band-aid fixes.
- Autonomous Growth: Self-directed problem solver who takes early project ownership, learns rapidly alongside senior engineers, and actively seeks feedback to level up.
Nice-to-have skills / Bonus points if you have:
- macOS fluency: comfortable troubleshooting macOS, understands the Apple ecosystem (Apple Business Manager, DEP enrollment)
- Experience with Kandji specifically
- Exposure to security compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2, HDS), even just awareness
- SaaS vendor management and/or license administration
- Interest in automation and coding (even from college/school projects)
- Experience in a fast-growing, multi-country tech company

ABOUT US
Sierra is the leading platform for customer-facing AI agents, working with many of the world's biggest brands — including The GAP, Rocket Mortgage, SoFi, Sutter Health, and SoftBank — to transform how they serve customers and grow their businesses. We are primarily an in-person company based in San Francisco, with growing offices across North America, Europe, and Asia.
We are guided by a set of values that are at the core of our actions and define our culture: Trust, Customer Obsession, Craftsmanship, Intensity, and a commitment to balancing Family along the way. These values are the foundation of our work, and we are committed to upholding them in everything we do.
Our co-founders are Bret Taylor https://www.linkedin.com/in/brettaylor/ and Clay Bavor https://www.linkedin.com/in/claybavor/. Bret currently serves as Board Chair of OpenAI. Previously, he was co-CEO of Salesforce (which had acquired the company he founded, Quip) and CTO of Facebook. Bret was also one of Google's earliest product managers and co-creator of Google Maps. Before founding Sierra, Clay spent 18 years at Google, where he most recently led Google Labs. Earlier, he started and led Google’s AR/VR effort, Project Starline, and Google Lens. Before that, Clay led the product and design teams for Google Workspace.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Design and deliver production-grade AI agents https://sierra.ai/blog/meet-the-ai-agent-engineer: You'll build and ship highly performant, reliable, and intuitive AI agents that are central, mission-critical and drive revenue directly to Sierra's growth. These aren't prototypes—they are powerful, scalable systems running in production environments across industries like finance, healthcare, and commerce.
- Drive the Agent Development Life Cycle https://sierra.ai/blog/agent-development-life-cycle (ADLC): You'll have complete ownership and autonomy from initial pilot through deployment and continuous iteration. You'll be responsible for building, tuning, and evolving AI agents in production environments, defining the standard for ADLC best practices along the way.
- Partner with large enterprises and cutting-edge startups: You’ll work directly with leaders at some of the world’s largest enterprises to understand their most pressing business challenges, and build AI agents that transform how they operate at scale. You'll also partner with the most cutting-edge startups in Silicon Valley, embedding AI agents across their entire business stack to drive innovation and efficiency.
- Build the future of the platform: Your direct work with customers will guide the evolution of Sierra's core platform. You'll surface unmet needs, prototype new tools and features, and collaborate with research, product, and platform to shape the future of AI agent development and Sierra's product.
EXAMPLE PROJECTS
These are some examples of projects that engineers on our team have worked on recently:
- Design and build AI agents for large telecommunications and media companies that consistently outperform human agents in managing subscription churn
- Develop and refine AI agents capable of navigating complex customer interactions, like troubleshooting a broken device and personalizing product recommendations
- Create generalizable AI agent frameworks tailored for industry-specific use cases. See some examples in our financial services blog https://sierra.ai/blog/five-ways-to-use-ai-agents-financial-services!
- Facilitate design partnerships for new product initiatives, such as new agent architectures, self-service capabilities, and generative agent development
- Experiment with the latest voice models and figure out how to integrate them at scale to enterprise-grade customers
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- Experience building and scaling end-to-end production systems
- Strong technical problem-solving skills, especially in fast-changing, ambiguous environments
- A builder and tinkerer’s mindset with high agency - you find creative ways to overcome obstacles and ship
- Comfort working directly with customers to understand their needs and solve real-world problems
- Excellent communication skills - clear, direct, and persuasive across technical and non-technical audiences
EVEN BETTER...
- Experience building or deploying AI/LLM systems in production
- Have been a founder or founding engineer - you know what it means to balance craft, ownership, and speed
- Familiarity with tools that power today's AI agents: eval frameworks, agent tooling, RAG pipelines, and prompt engineering
- Prior experience with React, TypeScript, and/or Go
- Previous roles where you interfaced with customers or led technical projects with external stakeholders
OUR VALUES

- Customer Obsession: We deeply understand our customers’ business goals and relentlessly focus on driving outcomes, not just technical milestones. Everyone at the company knows and spends time with our customers. When our customer is having an issue, we drop everything and fix it.
- Craftsmanship: We get the details right, from the words on the page to the system architecture. We have good taste. When we notice something isn’t right, we take the time to fix it. We are proud of the products we produce. We continuously self-reflect to continuously self-improve.
- Intensity: We know we don’t have the luxury of patience. We play to win. We care about our product being the best, and when it isn’t, we fix it. When we fail, we talk about it openly and without blame so we succeed the next time.
