Now we're scaling our products for both agents and people to ship and run software, built in the open and trusted by OpenAI, PayPal, Ramp, Supreme, and millions of developers worldwide.
About the role
Vercel is hiring a Senior HRBP to partner with our G&A organizations, Finance, Legal, People, and Security & IT. You'll work directly with C-Suite leaders to build people strategies that drive effectiveness, grow talent, and sustain a high-performance culture as we scale. This isn't a consulting role. You'll be embedded in the business, bringing strategic vision and operational follow-through in equal measure. We want a builder: someone who's guided teams through real inflection points, balances analytical rigor with genuine human-centeredness, and never loses sight of the individual in the system. You speak truth to power, advocate for employees, help leaders make hard calls and you don't wait to be asked.
What you'll do
Strategic Partnership
Serve as the primary HR advisor to senior leaders across Finance, Legal, People, and Security & IT functions
Translate business objectives into actionable people strategies, including organizational design, workforce planning, and talent development
Advise on org structure, team effectiveness, and leadership development to support G&A scaling
Partner with executives on headcount planning and HC allocation to align talent resources with business priorities
Talent & Performance
Drive talent review and talent development processes across supported organizations
Coach and develop leaders at all levels, from ICs to managers to VPs, on people management, feedback, and performance

Champion Vercel's culture and values, ensuring they're embedded in the day-to-day experience across G&A

Ensure consistent and equitable application of HR policies, providing guidance to managers and employees alike
Partner with Legal on compliance, employment law guidance, and risk mitigation across global jurisdictions
Operational Excellence

Contribute to and improve core People programs, onboarding, L&D, DEI, total rewards communication, within your client groups
Collaborate across the broader People team on cross-functional initiatives and process improvements
What you need
10+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a senior HRBP or HR generalist role supporting corporate / G&A functions
Experience operating in a fast-scaling, global tech company; startup or high-growth background strongly preferred
Demonstrated ability to build trust with senior executives and operate as a genuine business partner, not just an HR service provider
Deep expertise in organizational design, performance management, talent planning, and employee relations
Strong analytical skills; you use data to tell stories, identify trends, and inform decisions
Outstanding communication, facilitation, and executive presence; equally comfortable in a 1:1 coaching session and presenting to a leadership team
Comfortable with ambiguity; you create structure where none exists and thrive in a fast-moving environment
Experience with tools such as Workday, Greenhouse, and Notion highly preferred.

Competitive compensation package, including equity.

Recruitment scams have become increasingly common. To protect yourself, please keep the following in mind when applying for roles:
Apply only through our official channels.
We do not use third-party platforms or agencies for recruitment unless clearly stated. All open roles are listed on our official careers page: https://tether.recruitee.com/
Verify the recruiter’s identity.
All our recruiters have verified LinkedIn profiles. If you’re unsure, you can confirm their identity by checking their profile or contacting us through our website.
Be cautious of unusual communication methods.
We do not conduct interviews over WhatsApp, Telegram, or SMS. All communication is done through official company emails and platforms.
Double-check email addresses.
All communication from us will come from emails ending in
@
tether.to
or @
tether.io
We will never request payment or financial details.
If someone asks for personal financial information or payment at any point during the hiring process, it is a scam. Please report it immediately.
When in doubt, feel free to reach out through our official website.
