Here at Humanoid, we believe in a future where robots amplify human potential. That’s why we’ve set out on a mission to build the world’s most capable, commercially-scalable, and safe humanoid robots. We’re bringing that mission to life with HMND‑01 - our rapidly developed humanoid platform being deployed in real industrial environments - and we’re growing the team to take it even further.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re hiring a Senior Group Accountant to join our Finance team in London. Reporting to the Global Financial Controller, you will be responsible for monthly and statutory reporting and group consolidation across our global entities, and will help build the reporting, close and audit processes that carry Humanoid from high-growth startup to public-company standards. This is a hands-on role for a technically strong, audit-trained accountant who wants their work to become the foundation of a global finance function.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Reporting, Close and Consolidation
- Run the month-end and year-end close to the group close calendar, including journals, accruals, prepayments, fixed assets and payroll postings, and own full balance sheet reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly management reporting and support the wider reporting pack for internal and external stakeholders, including leadership, investors, lenders and auditors.
- Operate and improve the group consolidation across all entities, including intercompany reconciliation and eliminations, and multi-currency translation.
- Prepare group cash flow reporting and supporting schedules, working with FP&A and Treasury as the function grows.
Technical Accounting
- Own technical accounting assessments and prepare accounting papers and memos on judgemental areas and complex transactions.
- Develop accounting policies across revenue, inventory, R&D, leases and share-based payments as the business scales.
- Lead the accounting for inventory and manufacturing costs as we move from R&D and prototypes into production, including standard costing, cost of sales and stock provisioning.
- Support the transition of group reporting from FRS 102 to IFRS.
Statutory Reporting and Audit
- Prepare UK statutory financial statements and support local filings across our other jurisdictions alongside external advisors.
- Own the external audit process end to end, including PBC lists, auditor relationships and technical position papers.
Controls, Systems and Process
- Build and document internal controls as the group scales, ensuring we stay compliant and are ready for the reporting standards expected of a public company.
- Document processes and controls as you build them, and play a central role in our ERP build-out and finance systems integrations.
- Use AI and modern workflow tooling to accelerate the close, automate reconciliation and reporting, and find efficiencies across the function.
- Collaborate end to end across the finance team and the wider business, including tax, FP&A, finance operations, supply chain and people teams, picking up work that falls outside the standard remit as an early-stage company.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- ACA or ACCA qualified (CIMA considered), ideally audit-firm trained, with 4+ years’ relevant post-qualified or equivalent accounting experience across multi-entity, multi-currency groups, ideally including US entities.
- Strong technical knowledge of FRS 102 and IFRS, with experience preparing statutory accounts, drafting technical papers and managing external audits end to end.
- Hands-on close and consolidation experience, comfortable owning journals, reconciliations, intercompany and eliminations rather than only reviewing them.
- Experience with inventory and cost accounting, standard costing or cost centre reporting in a manufacturing, physical goods or high-volume environment.
- A builder’s mindset, with experience in a high-growth environment where process, controls and documentation still need to be created.
- Comfortable in a modern finance stack, using AI and automation to speed up close and reporting; ERP implementation experience (SAP, NetSuite or similar) is a plus.
- Experience in a venture-backed startup or scale-up, ideally hardware, robotics or deep tech, is a plus.
WHAT WE OFFER
- Competitive equity: stock options with meaningful upside as we scale.
- 30+ paid days off, including 23 days of annual leave, all UK bank holidays, and additional company closure days (including Christmas to New Year shutdown).
- Private healthcare, including virtual and in-person care.
- Pension scheme with 8% total contribution (5% employee, 3% employer) on full earnings.
- Free daily breakfast, catered lunch, and snacks in-office.
- Work at the frontier: collaborate daily with world-class engineers, researchers, and product experts building the next generation of AI and humanoid robotics.
- Real ownership: direct access to leadership, meaningful input, and the ability to drive key initiatives from day one.

📍 Manila, Philippines | Relocation required
Salmon is a technology-driven financial company building a banking and lending platform across Southeast Asia, starting in the Philippines.
We combine global fintech expertise with deep local market knowledge to make financial services simple, accessible, and useful for millions of people across the region.
7M+ app downloads. 2M+ monthly active users. 7,000+ partner stores. US$310M+ raised from leading global investors.
Manila-based, globally distributed, and hybrid-first — our team spans 45+ countries.
If you want to solve complex problems at scale and impact how millions of people access and manage money, come build with us.
Southeast Asia's fintech moment starts here.
About the role:
You'll lead the Finance side of the core banking system project — turning accounting needs, regulatory obligations, and product-administration realities into system requirements, and delivering against them.
What you'll do:
- Lead the core banking system project from the Finance side: own the plan end to end — scope, milestones, dependencies, and risk tracking — and act as Finance's subject-matter voice across vendor selection, design, and rollout.
- Run UAT, data-migration validation, and cutover planning from the Finance side, coordinating closely with IT/Engineering and vendors.
- Connect the dots across Finance, IT/Engineering, and Compliance — surfacing regulatory gaps tied to system limitations and helping close them, and keeping Finance leadership informed on progress, risk, and dependencies.
What you'll own:
- Turn accounting needs, regulatory obligations (such as BSP/MORB), and product-administration realities into concrete system requirements, and manage delivery against them.
- Build and drive the accounting-backlog remediation plan with real milestones, pulling in Finance colleagues and outside help where it makes sense.
- Get month-end and period-end close and reporting, based on the core banking system, integrated directly with the GL — and keep it that way.
- Take the Odoo accounting-automation work into properly owned, documented, controlled, and audit-ready process.
- Identify and prioritise efficiency gains — automating manual entries, reconciliations, and reporting, using AI where it applies — to cut team effort and errors.
- Contribute to IPO-readiness work wherever it touches financial systems and controls.
What makes you a strong fit:
- 10+ years of experience with a strong track record in finance/accounting project management.
- A solid grip on accounting fundamentals and the close process.
- Proven automation experience — you've led or driven process-automation initiatives, not just used automated tools — including practical Odoo (or a comparable ERP) experience for accounting automation.
- Strong IT literacy: comfortable with system architecture, data flows, and technical requirements — enough to bridge Finance and IT/Engineering without a translator.
- Strong project-management discipline: scoping, milestone tracking, risk management, and stakeholder communication across Finance, IT/Engineering, and Compliance.
- Ability to turn messy, ambiguous problems into a plan with real milestones.
What we offer:
OWNERSHIP AND FLEXIBILITY
- Stock option plan — four-year vesting with a 25% cliff after the first year
- Hybrid-first work environment
- Company-provided tools and equipment
- Office in Bonifacio Global City, Manila — a modern, walkable district at the centre of the Philippines' growing tech scene
HEALTH AND TIME OFF
- Medical insurance support for you and your family through co-funding or reimbursement, depending on your location and subject to policy limits
- Access to an internal mental health support specialist
- 22 vacation days, Philippine public holidays, and 15 sick days
- 105 days of paid maternity leave and up to 14 days of paid paternity leave for employees relocating to Manila
RELOCATION AND FAMILY SUPPORT
- Relocation support for you, your family — including flights, two weeks of accommodation, visas, paperwork, and logistics
- Reimbursement of eligible pet relocation expenses
- USD 2,500 per year for flights home
- Baby and family stipends for employees relocating to Manila: USD 1,000 per month for each child under two and USD 500 per month for each child aged two to 18
GROWTH AND TEAM EXPERIENCE
- Opportunities to learn and share your expertise through internal expert meetups, external conferences, speaking opportunities, and industry publications
- Company-sponsored trips to Manila to meet and work with your team in person
- Regular team offsites, sports activities, and team events
- High-performing teams can earn a dedicated beach house week in Southeast Asia

Your Responsibilities
Product Marketing & Go-to-Market

Own positioning, differentiation and value propositions across Intellect’s solutions, tailoring messaging to priority buyer segments and markets.
Lead marketing planning for priority solution launches and updates, defining target audiences, messaging, supporting evidence and sales readiness, with B2B marketing owning acquisition campaign execution.
Bring customer and market insights into discussions with product, clinical and commercial teams to inform how solutions are developed, packaged and communicated.
Commercial Content & Sales Enablement
Personally research, write and edit compelling sales decks, solution materials, customer stories, case studies and campaign content.
Identify barriers to purchase with sales and develop messaging, objection-handling resources and competitive positioning materials that help address them.
Partner with the Clinical team to translate research findings, clinical expertise and customer outcomes into clear, credible evidence that helps buyers evaluate Intellect and supports renewal and expansion conversations.
Keep core materials current and easy to use, assessing their usefulness through adoption, sales feedback and buyer responses.
Website, SEO & AI Search Visibility
Own core website content and routine CMS updates, ensuring our solutions, differentiation and customer evidence are clearly presented.
Improve organic discovery through search-informed content and practical on-page SEO, prioritising relevant audiences and commercial intent.
Test approaches to improve visibility in AI-powered search and answer platforms, building on useful, authoritative content and sound SEO foundations.
Use search and content performance to prioritise improvements, working with B2B marketing on conversion and specialists on technical changes.
Brand Communications, Thought Leadership & PR
Maintain a consistent voice and narrative across Intellect’s public and client-facing communications.
Collaborate with the Clinical team on research-led content and white papers, bringing buyer-relevant questions into topic planning and turning findings and subject-matter expertise into accessible narratives, with clinical review for accuracy.
Develop thought leadership, articles and executive content that connect Intellect’s expertise and perspectives to the issues facing employers and their people.
Own a focused editorial calendar for organic social and ongoing brand communications, coordinating creative support through to publication.
Develop company announcements, press materials and story angles; coordinate leadership approvals, routine media enquiries and outreach with specialist PR support where needed.
Customer Marketing & Lifecycle Communications
Plan and execute repeatable client programmes, including onboarding communications, newsletters, solution education and engagement journeys.

Build reusable assets and workflows, using AI and other tools to improve execution while maintaining accuracy, originality and editorial quality.
Requirements
Strong in product-marketing judgement. You can demonstrate how you have shaped positioning, messaging or a go-to-market approach using buyer insight, and explain the decisions behind your work.
An excellent hands-on writer and editor. You can turn complex products and services into clear, persuasive content, with work samples that show both your thinking and your personal contribution.
Commercially minded. You understand how enterprise buyers evaluate solutions and can connect your work to buying decisions, sales effectiveness and customer value.

ABOUT US
Sierra is the leading platform for customer-facing AI agents, working with many of the world's biggest brands — including The GAP, Rocket Mortgage, SoFi, Sutter Health, and SoftBank — to transform how they serve customers and grow their businesses. We are primarily an in-person company based in San Francisco, with growing offices across North America, Europe, and Asia.
We are guided by a set of values that are at the core of our actions and define our culture: Trust, Customer Obsession, Craftsmanship, Intensity, and a commitment to balancing Family along the way. These values are the foundation of our work, and we are committed to upholding them in everything we do.
Our co-founders are Bret Taylor https://www.linkedin.com/in/brettaylor/ and Clay Bavor https://www.linkedin.com/in/claybavor/. Bret currently serves as Board Chair of OpenAI. Previously, he was co-CEO of Salesforce (which had acquired the company he founded, Quip) and CTO of Facebook. Bret was also one of Google's earliest product managers and co-creator of Google Maps. Before founding Sierra, Clay spent 18 years at Google, where he most recently led Google Labs. Earlier, he started and led Google’s AR/VR effort, Project Starline, and Google Lens. Before that, Clay led the product and design teams for Google Workspace.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
As an Agent Strategist https://sierra.ai/blog/agent-strategist-your-phd-in-applied-ai, you own how Sierra's AI agents come to life for our customers — from first pilot to a production agent handling thousands of conversations a day. You sit at the intersection of product, building agents and customer-facing work, and stay just as close to the technology as you are to the people you build for. You transform a customer's thorniest, highest-stakes problems into agents that measurably move their business.
- Own the Agent Development Life Cycle https://sierra.ai/blog/agent-development-life-cycle. Take agents from initial scope through conversation design, tooling, and evaluation, to launch and continuous iteration in production — translating business goals into an agent that outperforms, and tuning relentlessly until it's the best version of itself in the real world. You'll have real ownership and autonomy over the outcome.
- Be the trusted strategic advisor to enterprise leaders. Sit shoulder-to-shoulder with our customers' executives, understand what success actually means to their business, and shape the AI strategy that gets them there.
- Partner with the customer's working teams day to day. Run working sessions, troubleshoot the agent as issues come up, and make the calls that keep the build on track for launch.
- Directly impact product. Surface unmet needs from your customer work, and feed them back to research and platform to shape where Sierra goes next.
EXAMPLE PROJECTS
These are the kinds of projects that strategists on our team have worked on recently:
- Scope and launch a subscription-retention agent for a large telecommunications or media company that consistently outperforms human agents at saving at-risk customers.
- Stand up an agent for a commerce customer that troubleshoots a broken device end-to-end and personalizes product recommendations in the same conversation.
- Redesign the conversation flows for a financial services agent so it can handle complex, regulated interactions — and convert a pilot into a multi-team production deployment. See our financial services blog https://sierra.ai/blog/five-ways-to-use-ai-agents-financial-services for examples.
- Partner with product on a net-new capability — a new agent architecture or self-service tooling — using a live customer as the design partner.
- Define the evaluation and quality bar for a new agent, then use those metrics to drive a measurable lift in outcome https://sierra.ai/blog/outcome-based-pricing-for-ai-agents week over week.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- Customer obsession. Genuine energy being in front of customers — understanding their business and needs, thriving in complex organizations, and building trusted relationships.
- Communication. Clear, direct, and persuasive across technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strategic problem-solving in ambiguity. Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills to break down complex problems, spot risks early, and adapt as things change fast.
- Technical aptitude. Comfortable engaging directly with technical concepts - reading API documentation, understanding data models and system architecture, and following engineering tradeoffs in a design discussion.
- Ownership and delivery. A track record of running multiple complex, high-visibility projects at once and driving them to outcomes.
EVEN BETTER...
- Experience building or deploying AI/LLM agents in production — hands-on with the tools behind them (eval frameworks, agent tooling, RAG, prompt engineering) — working closely with technical counterparts.
- You've been a founder, founding team member, or operator — you know how to balance craft, ownership, and speed.
- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience — and/or an MBA or comparable experience at the intersection of technology and business.
OUR VALUES
- Trust: We build trust with our customers with our accountability, empathy, quality, and responsiveness. We build trust in AI by making it more accessible, safe, and useful. We build trust with each other by showing up for each other professionally and personally, creating an environment that enables all of us to do our best work.
- Customer Obsession: We deeply understand our customers’ business goals and relentlessly focus on driving outcomes, not just technical milestones. Everyone at the company knows and spends time with our customers. When our customer is having an issue, we drop everything and fix it.
- Craftsmanship: We get the details right, from the words on the page to the system architecture. We have good taste. When we notice something isn’t right, we take the time to fix it. We are proud of the products we produce. We continuously self-reflect to continuously self-improve.
- Intensity: We know we don’t have the luxury of patience. We play to win. We care about our product being the best, and when it isn’t, we fix it. When we fail, we talk about it openly and without blame so we succeed the next time.
- Family: We know that balance and intensity are compatible, and we model it in our actions and processes. We are the best technology company for parents. We support and respect each other and celebrate each other’s personal and professional achievements.

ABOUT US
Sierra is the leading platform for customer-facing AI agents, working with many of the world's biggest brands — including The GAP, Rocket Mortgage, SoFi, Sutter Health, and SoftBank — to transform how they serve customers and grow their businesses.

An overview of the role
We are seeking a Principal Security Researcher to join our
Application Security Team to conduct cutting-edge security research on GitLab's AI-powered DevSecOps capabilities. As GitLab transforms software development through intelligent collaboration between developers and specialized AI agents, we need security researchers who can proactively identify and validate vulnerabilities before they impact our platform or customers.
In this role, you'll be at the forefront of security research, working with our GitLab DevSecOps platform, Duo Agent Platform, GitLab Duo Chat, and AI workflows that represent the future of human/AI collaborative development. You'll develop novel testing methodologies (including for AI agent security), conduct hands-on penetration testing, and translate emerging threats into actionable security improvements. Your research will directly influence how we build and secure the next generation of AI-powered DevSecOps tools, ensuring GitLab remains the most secure software factory platform on the market.
This position offers the unique opportunity to shape security and AI security practices in one of the world's largest DevSecOps platforms, working with engineering teams who are pushing the boundaries of what's possible with AI-assisted software development. You'll have access to cutting-edge AI systems and the freedom to explore creative attack scenarios while contributing to the security of millions of developers worldwide.
This role reports to the Senior Manager of Application Security.
What you'll do
Conduct and lead security research projects across multiple functional areas.
Identify novel, systemic, and chained vulnerabilities in GitLab, where individual weaknesses combine for outsized impact.
Validate security vulnerabilities through hands-on testing, developing proof-of-concept exploits that demonstrate real-world attack scenarios.
Assess emerging industry vulnerability classes against the GitLab codebase, and drive remediation of the class rather than the instance.
Lead security research into GitLab's AI and agentic surfaces, and define the security requirements that engineering teams build against.
Build and direct the tooling and automation that scales security research, including agent-assisted vulnerability discovery across our codebase.
Research the security posture of open source tools and dependencies integrated with GitLab, report findings to their maintainers, and track mitigation following our
responsible disclosure guidelines
.
Solve technical problems of the highest scope, complexity, and ambiguity.
Help shape the team and sub-department roadmap.
Lead the integration of security research results into the engineering and business functions that need to act on them.
Teach, mentor, and advise other domain experts and individual contributors across several teams.
Share knowledge and novel vulnerability types with the security community.
What you'll bring
10+ years of experience in security research, penetration testing, or offensive security roles
Strong ability in discovering and exploiting vulnerabilities in large codebase and complex systems
Proficiency in two or more of Ruby, Go, Python, TypeScript, or Rust.
Ability to read and analyze code across multiple languages and codebases
Strong knowledge of AI frameworks
Strong understanding of AI attack vectors including prompt injection, agent manipulation, and workflow exploitation
At ease in establishing and driving complex remediation initiatives involving cross-functional teams
Excellent written communication skills with an ability to articulate complex topics in a clear and concise manner.
Ability to translate complex technical findings into clear risk assessments and remediation recommendations
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with creative thinking about attack scenarios
Nice to Have:
Published security research or conference presentations; background in software engineering with distributed systems expertise; experience with GitLab or similar DevSecOps platforms
About the team
Security Researchers are a part of our
Application Security team, who address complex security challenges facing GitLab and its customers to enable GitLab to be the most secure software factory platform on the market. We focus on systemic product security risks and work cross-functionally to mitigate them while maintaining Engineering's development velocity.

PlanetScale is backed with over $100M in venture financing from top-tier VCs including a16z, Kleiner Perkins, SignalFire, and Insight Venture Partners. And we serve some of the most innovative companies in the world such as Block, Anysphere (Cursor), MyFitnessPal, Etsy, Kick, and thousands more. Create compelling visual systems for campaigns, product launches, and marketing initiatives.
Design for multiple formats and contexts: digital, print, experiential, and merchandise.

Design booth graphics, signage, and environmental branding for conferences, meetups, and community events.
Collaborate with the events team to create memorable, on-brand experiences that stand out
Design merch that developers actually want to wear and use.
Create branded collateral including banners, posters, stickers, and promotional materials.
Website and Digital Assets
Design creative website components and landing pages.
Design data visualizations and technical diagrams that make complex information accessible.

Explore new visual directions while maintaining brand coherence.
Document design decisions and maintain brand guidelines.
These attributes best describe you.
A strong portfolio demonstrating versatile design skills across digital, print, and experiential design.
Deep understanding of design fundamentals: typography, color, composition, and visual hierarchy.
You've figured out where AI actually helps in a design workflow and built process around it.
Comfortable working in both brand and production modes. You can think big picture and execute in the details.
Strong communication skills with the ability to both articulate design decisions and understand direction.
Self-directed and able to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.
Collaborative spirit with the ability to incorporate feedback while maintaining creative vision.
What else will help you be successful.
Experience designing for technical or developer-focused brands.
Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and other design tools.
Comfortable using AI to build a working first draft of a page rather than handing off a static mockup.
Understanding of design systems and component-based thinking.
Enthusiasm for learning about databases, infrastructure, and developer tools.
Why PlanetScale
We're redefining how high-growth companies manage data at scale—and we work with some of the most exciting brands in gaming, consumer tech, and B2B SaaS. Why work at Higgsfield AI?
Higgsfield AI is the fastest-scaling generative AI company in history, hitting $500M in annual revenue run rate, 25M+ users worldwide, 6M+ generations per day, and powering 390 of Fortune 500 brands. We're building at the absolute frontier of AI-powered video creation and next-generation creative tools. Joining Higgsfield means becoming part of a high-impact team shaping the future of AI-native experiences, at a company that isn't just moving fast, but rewriting what fast looks like.
Why this role exists
Higgsfield is one of the fastest-growing generative AI companies in the world. A large share of our revenue already comes from business users, but the product wasn't built for them, and there's no dedicated PM. We need someone to build the B2B and Enterprise product from the ground up, own the full path from a corporate email signup to a signed enterprise contract, and turn what's currently a reactive feature stream into a real business line.
What you'll actually do
• Own the B2B and Enterprise product surface end-to-end: workspaces, roles, SSO, SCIM, audit logs, admin controls, user and asset management, billing and seat management, brand controls, API access for enterprise.
• Own the self-serve team-plan motion too: corporate email signup flow, in-product invites, seat expansion, the path from one paying user to a paying team.
• Partner with sales on live deals: security questionnaires, compliance responses, contract-blocking features, pilot design. Sit on customer calls, not just receive summaries.
• Untangle the workspace and collaboration model: separate identity from content ownership so users can be invited to collaborate without breaking billing or credit pools.
• Build the enterprise data residency, retention, and privacy story alongside legal and security.
• Design the metrics that matter: corporate-email signup share, team-plan conversion, seats per account, expansion revenue, enterprise pipeline conversion, deal cycle time, loss reasons by segment.
• Work directly with Sales, Legal, Security, Applied ML, Backend, Growth, and Payments. Frequent contact with actual enterprise buyers.
Must-haves
1. Founding or early-operator experience. You've spent years trying to build something of your own. You know what it's like to own an outcome when nobody hands you a spec.
2. Shipped a B2B or Enterprise product at scale, ideally from zero or near-zero. You've built the workspace, the admin, the SSO, the billing, and you've sat across from real buyers to know why each one mattered.
3. Comfortable owning both self-serve growth mechanics and top-down enterprise motion. You don't treat product-led and sales-led as different jobs.
4. Strong technical judgment. You can reason about auth models, permission systems, tenancy, and API surfaces without needing an engineer to translate.
5. You measure in revenue, seats, and cycle time, not features shipped. You can defend a scope cut to Sales and a pilot commitment to Engineering in the same afternoon.
Who this is not for
• You prefer working from complete specifications rather than defining problems yourself.
• You want to inherit a mature B2B org. This is zero-to-one.
• You are looking for a slower release cycle. We ship weekly, and enterprise deals can compress that to hours.
Nice to have
• Background at a fast-scaling B2B SaaS, collaboration tool, or developer platform in the US, EU, or Asia.
• Direct experience with SSO, SCIM, SOC 2, GDPR, data residency, or enterprise procurement cycles.
• Experience turning a strong B2C product into a real B2B business.
• Comfort with generative AI, creative tools, or API products.

About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role
Procurement Operations is the front door for buying at Anthropic. We sit inside Finance Operations and own the path from “I need to buy something” to a signed agreement, an accurate purchase order, and clean spend data at month-end.
We are hiring a Procurement Operations Business Partner to own that path for our research organizations and the special programs that spawn out of it. This portfolio behaves differently from the rest of the company in that it purchases goods and services from highly-specialized vendors and new programs regularly appear with real purchasing needs before any process exists for them. You will be the person who makes all of that feel simple to the researchers and program leads who depend on it, and reliable to the Finance stakeholders behind it. This is a high-volume role with an accounting core. You ensure every purchase in the portfolio is coded, dated, received, and accrued correctly, so research spend is right in the books every month. Expect a steady queue of requests, work orders, and change orders, and expect to be the person Accounting trusts on all of it.
We use Claude as part of our daily workflow and are looking for someone who wants to help define what an AI-native procurement operations function looks like, including how AI changes intake, document review, vendor coordination, and requester support.
Responsibilities
Own the purchasing path for R&D
Manage a high volume of purchase requests, work orders, and change orders each month across research teams and programs, keeping speed and accuracy high at the same time.
Serve as the primary procurement partner for Anthropic's research teams and special programs, guiding requesters from initial request to signed agreement and issued purchase order.
Review every purchase request in your portfolio for the things that matter downstream: the right vendor record and contracting entity, complete commercial documents, correct spend categorization and service dates, and the approvals the purchase actually needs.
Determine what each request requires before it can move, whether that is a statement of work, an order form, an amendment, a security or privacy review, or a third party risk assessment, and route it to the right reviewers the first time.
Launch and track contract review with Legal, keep it moving, and confirm the executed agreement supports the purchase order before it is issued.
Structure purchase orders so they match how the vendor bills (fixed fee, milestone, per-unit, or usage in arrears) and how Accounting needs to see the spend, with the right GL account, cost center, and service period on every line. Manage change orders, renewals, and closures over the life of each agreement.
Act as the dedicated operations partner for our research services vendor portfolio, where engagements are structured as master agreements with frequent work orders and scope changes, and where speed and documentation discipline both matter.
Handle the mechanics that come with hardware, equipment, and lab purchasing, including multi line quotes, lead times, shipping and receiving, and asset handoffs.
Financial completeness & accuracy
Code every purchase order correctly at creation, including GL account, spend category, cost center, and service period, and understand how each choice lands in the financials (expense vs. prepaid, capitalized equipment vs. operating spend).
Work the hard cases with Accounting: services that span periods, partially delivered milestones, per-unit work billed in arrears, credits and true-ups, and work orders amended mid-month.
Own the open purchase order book: receipts recorded against actual delivery, periodic reviews, stale line cleanup, coding corrections, and timely closures, so PO, receipt, and invoice agree.
Serve as the first line reviewer for month end accruals on your portfolio, gathering estimates from vendors and budget owners for variable spend and confirming or correcting proposed amounts so Accounting can close on time.
Partner with Accounts Payable to resolve invoice holds, PO mismatches, and receiving questions so vendors are paid on time and spend lands where it belongs.
Support audit and reporting requests that touch your portfolio, including commitment schedules and control evidence, with data you can stand behind.
Stand up new programs
Be the first procurement call when a new research program or initiative spins up. Scope what they will buy and how often, agree a right sized path with Legal, Security, and Finance, and have it working before volume arrives.
Run a regular pipeline check in with your highest velocity teams so upcoming purchases are visible early and nothing urgent arrives as a surprise.
Translate procurement, legal, security, and finance requirements into plain language for researchers and engineers, and carry their operating reality back to those teams so controls fit the work.
Be the front door
Be visible and responsive in your teams' Slack channels and office hours; answer routine purchasing questions quickly and escalate real blockers with context.
Apply purchasing policy consistently and explain the why, including approval thresholds, signature authority, and when an exception is and is not available.
Continuous improvement
Maintain the playbooks, intake guidance, and standard operating procedures for your portfolio so the path is repeatable and does not live in one person's head.
Identify manual steps, repeat questions, and failure points and fix them, including where Claude and workflow automation with AI can take work off requesters and the team.
Minimum qualifications
Proven track record of owning a high-volume purchasing portfolio end-to-end in procure-to-pay and intake platform.
Solid working knowledge of accrual accounting as it applies to purchasing: accruals and reversals, service period and cutoff, prepaid vs. expense, and GL and cost center coding. You can explain how a purchase order becomes an entry in the general ledger.
Experience supporting outsourced or managed service vendors at scale, where scope and volume move month to month and the contracts, purchase orders, and invoices have to keep up with each other.
Working knowledge of how contract review, security and privacy review, and financial controls fit together in a purchase, and the judgment to know when to push a request through and when to slow it down.
Preferred qualifications
5-7+ years of procurement operations, purchasing, or vendor operations, including time supporting a research, engineering, hardware, or outsourced services organization.
Experience as the embedded procurement partner for a hyper scaling data operations, ML, RL, and lab environments
Time at a hypergrowth technology company scaling procurement operations for outsourced or vendor delivered work.
Background in accounting, accounts payable, or a month-end close process, including experience with three-way match
Sourced human data, data labeling, annotation, or evaluation vendors (or comparable BPO and outsourced operations) with a point of view on where that market is heading
Direct experience with Zip, Workday Financials, and Ironclad.
Prior ownership of month end accrual review or open PO reconciliation for a large, variable spend portfolio
Experience designing tiered intake or approval frameworks that sped up low risk purchases without weakening controls.

How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

Anthropic's Beneficial Deployments team accelerates the work of organizations doing some of the world's most important under-resourced work: nonprofits, education institutions, scientific researchers, and organizations advancing economic mobility. Research institutions sit at the center of that mission. They produce the science the rest of the world builds on, and they are structurally short on time, budget, and technical capacity to figure out new technology on their own.
You will lead our targeted approach to research institutes and research intensive universities globally. Where our scaled motion reaches thousands of organizations one to many, this role is the opposite end of the same ecosystem: a deliberately short list of institutions where depth matters, where a lab, a department, or a whole campus adopting Claude changes what science gets done, and where the buying process runs through provosts, research offices, procurement, grant budgets, and security review.
Reach comes first, and commercial results follow from it. That ordering is deliberate and it is shared across every leader on this team: a research institute that adopts Claude to move its science faster is a win on its own terms, and you will be measured on creating that value with the institutions that matter most, not only on pipeline. You are the single accountable owner for the research Enterprise book globally: its target list, its AEs, its numbers, and its field voice inside Anthropic.
You are half seller, half domain translator. You will personally run the most complex institutional deals, and you will be credible in a room of scientists and research leaders. You know how research is funded, how a university decides, and what it takes for a research sales motion to land in a software company. You will bring that knowledge to the product, applied AI, and marketing teams who build for this audience.
This is a player coach seat. You will be directly involved in deals and directing the account executives who cover research institutes and universities today, and the role is expected to grow thoughtfully with more AEs in key regions globally.
Key responsibilities
Co-design our global research strategy: the target list of research institutes and research intensive universities that advance scientific discovery.
Serve as the lead on our most complex institutional deals — setting the pursuit strategy, opening doors with lab and research-office leadership, university provosts, and personally resolving the toughest hurdles: procurement, security review, and grant-funded budgets.
Direct and coach the account executives working research accounts today: joint account plans, deal reviews, and a repeatable motion for landing a university and expanding within it.
Build the institutional playbook: how an institute goes from a pilot to a working deployment across a department, what good adoption looks like, and when to bring in applied AI, customer success, or partners.
Own the book's numbers, institutions reached, activated, and expanded against goals, and use them to decide where the effort goes next.
Work in lockstep with our PLG 1:many motion, so that an institution moves cleanly between scaled programs and direct coverage in both directions.
Minimum qualifications
Research sales. You have sold software as a service into universities, research institutes, or academic medical centers, and you have personally closed complex institutional agreements involving procurement, security review, and multiple decision makers.
Science background. You have trained or worked in a scientific field, or spent a meaningful part of your career selling to or building for scientists, and you can hold a credible conversation with a principal investigator about their research.
Sales leadership. You have led a sales business end to end and been the accountable owner for its results, whether as a team lead, a player coach, or the sole owner of a strategic book.
Preferred qualifications
Global research landscape: experience selling to universities or research institutes in more than one region, an understanding of how funding and procurement differ from country to country, and comfort working across time zones with regional teams.
Experience with research funding: grants, indirect costs, and how a fixed annual budget shapes what an institution can buy.
Track record landing an institution wide agreement at a research intensive university, and expanding from a single department to a campus or system.
Familiarity with how AI is already used in research settings, and a point of view on where it should go next.
Experience working with academic consortia, national labs, or research networks.
An impact, education, research, or mission driven go to market background, and genuine interest in these institutions' constraints.
A daily working habit with Claude, and agentic workflows you have built for yourself.
You might thrive here if you
Want your work measured in science that moves faster, not only in pipeline.
Have sat in a faculty meeting or a research office and know why the obvious commercial playbook does not work there.
Are comfortable being the only person accountable for a book while depending on teams you do not manage.
Would rather close the first three institutional deals yourself and write the playbook from what you learned than write the strategy deck first.
Find the constraint interesting rather than frustrating: long procurement cycles, grant timelines, and security reviews are the job, not an obstacle to it.

- Identify risks, blockers, and changing customer priorities early. Lead escalations with clarity and urgency by defining the business impact, engaging the right internal teams, setting expectations, and maintaining customer confidence through resolution.
- Advocate effectively for customer needs while exercising strong judgment about when engineering involvement is required, how requests should be prioritized, and when an alternative solution can deliver the desired outcome.
- Use customer insights, performance data, and ecommerce best practices to provide proactive, strategic recommendations, not simply respond to requests.
- Maintain clear success plans, stakeholder maps, account documentation, training materials, and agreed actions so that both the customer and Constructor teams remain aligned.
- Partner closely with Account Management to support retention and growth by demonstrating value, strengthening executive relationships, and identifying opportunities to expand the partnership.
- Continuously improve how we onboard, integrate, and support customers, sharing repeatable best practices that make our processes more scalable and the customer experience more effective.
Requirements
- Based in EMEA, ideally in the Nordics—particularly Finland, Sweden, or Denmark. Fluency in a Nordic language is an advantage but not required.
- At least three years of experience managing relationships with enterprise customers in Customer Success, Account Management, Solutions Consulting, or a similar customer-facing role.
- Experience working with complex enterprise organizations and building trusted relationships with stakeholders ranging from technical teams and product leaders to Ecommerce Directors, VPs, and C-level executives.
- Strong executive presence and the confidence to lead strategic customer conversations, including QBRs and EBRs.
- Strong influencing and stakeholder-management skills, including the ability to create momentum and drive progress without direct authority.
- Strong problem-solving skills, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to learn quickly in a fast-moving, technically sophisticated environment.
- Experience in ecommerce, digital commerce, search, product discovery, or a related field is highly valued.
Benefits
- A competitive compensation package including stock options
- Fully remote team - choose where you live
- Work from home stipend! We want you to have the resources you need to set up your home office
- Apple laptops provided for new employees
- Training and development budget for every employee, refreshed each year
