ABOUT US
At LangChain, our mission is to make intelligent agents ubiquitous. We build the foundation for agent engineering in the real world, helping developers move from prototypes to production-ready AI agents that teams can rely on. We began as widely adopted open-source tools and have grown to also offer a platform for building, evaluating, deploying, and operating agents at scale.
With $125M raised at Series B from IVP, Sequoia, Benchmark, CapitalG, and Sapphire Ventures, we’re at a stage where we’re continuing to develop new products, growth is accelerating, and all team members have meaningful impact on what we build and how we work together. LangChain is a place where your contributions can shape how this technology shows up in the real world.
Today, our platform includes LangSmith (Observability, Evaluation, Deployment, Fleet, and Sandboxes), our open source frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, and Deep Agents), and the newly launched LangSmith Engine for autonomous agent improvement. We have 100M+ monthly open source downloads, 6,000+ active LangSmith customers, and 5 of the Fortune 10 use LangSmith in production (+ 35% of the Fortune 500 overall), including teams at Klarna, Clay, Coinbase, Workday, Lyft, Cloudflare, Harvey, Rippling, Vanta, LinkedIn, Monday.com, Nvidia, and Bridgewater.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As our first Federal Partner Alliances Lead for the US, you will own the systems integrator and consulting partner ecosystem across the US Federal market. This is a high-leverage, senior individual contributor role where you will build and drive our federal partner strategy from the ground up — focused primarily on establishing deep, revenue-generating relationships with the major Federal Systems Integrators (FSIs) and a curated set of specialized boutique partners.
You are an operator at heart who loves the ambiguity of a fast-growing startup. You understand how developer tools and enterprise AI stacks fit together within the unique compliance and regulatory requirements of the federal space, and you have a track record of driving sourced and influenced revenue through partner channels without needing a heavy management playbook to guide you. This role sits within our GTM organization and will work closely with our field sellers, customer engineering teams, and product leaders to embed LangChain into the delivery practices and solution portfolios of the partners who win and execute the biggest federal AI programs.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Own FSI Relationships: Build and lead LangChain's strategic partnerships with the major federal primes — including Leidos, Booz Allen Hamilton, Northrop Grumman, SAIC, Accenture Federal, and similar large-scale integrators. Drive structured engagement across their AI/ML practices, solution architects, and business development teams to embed LangChain into active and upcoming program pursuits.
- Develop Boutique and Specialized Partners: Identify and activate a curated set of smaller, mission-focused federal consultancies and AI-native partners that are embedded in specific agency relationships or cleared environments where the primes don't reach.
- Build Joint Go-to-Market Motions: Work with FSI partners to co-develop solution offerings, reference architectures, and proposal language that positions LangChain as the preferred agentic AI framework for federal program delivery.
- Drive Pipeline Through Partners: Own the partner-sourced and partner-influenced pipeline, working hand-in-hand with LangChain's field sales team to ensure FSI relationships translate into real opportunities and closed revenue.
- Support Hyperscaler Relationships Selectively: Maintain a lightweight working relationship with AWS GovCloud, Azure Government, and GCP Public Sector teams, primarily to support event sponsorships, joint visibility opportunities, and marketplace presence — without making this a primary focus of the role.
- Execute Co-Marketing Motions: Partner with marketing to show up effectively at key federal industry events (AFCEA, AWS Summit DC, industry days) and develop technical content and co-branded materials that reinforce LangChain's credibility with FSI and agency audiences.
- Build the Playbook: Create the operational blueprint for how LangChain scales federal partnerships — from initial relationship mapping and partner tiering to joint pipeline tracking and executive engagement cadences.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- Experience: 6+ years of experience in federal partner management, business development, or alliance roles, with a strong track record of building and monetizing relationships with major FSIs and federal primes. Direct experience working within or alongside Leidos, Booz Allen Hamilton, Northrop Grumman, SAIC, or similar organizations is a significant plus.
- FSI Network: A genuine, pre-existing network within the business development, AI/ML practice, and solutions architecture communities at the major federal primes. You should be able to get meetings quickly and have credibility with the people who shape program pursuit decisions.
- Technical Foundation: Enough technical fluency to speak credibly with enterprise architects and engineering leads in federal environments. You don't need to write code, but you must understand how LLMs, agentic frameworks, and developer tooling operate within federal infrastructure, including FedRAMP, IL4/IL5, and zero-trust requirements.
- Startup Agility: Proven ability to navigate a high-growth environment with limited structure. You are comfortable building the playbook as you run it, executing independently with minimal supervision in the often long-cycle federal sales environment.
- Operational Rigor: Strong pipeline management skills. You track partner activity with clean CRM hygiene, maintain accurate opportunity attribution, and communicate clearly and consistently to internal stakeholders.
- Strong Communication & Influence: Equally comfortable writing sharp internal strategy docs as you are presenting to senior BD and practice leaders at major federal integrators.
NICE TO HAVE'S
- Active security clearance (Secret or higher) or existing clearance eligibility.
- Prior experience at an open-source, developer tools, or infrastructure software company bringing a new technology into the federal FSI ecosystem.
- Familiarity with federal procurement vehicles (GSA Schedule, OTAs, BPAs) and how primes use them to structure program delivery.
- Familiarity with the modern LLM orchestration stack, federal data environments, and compliance frameworks (FedRAMP, NIST, CMMC).
Annual Salary Range: $190,000 to 270,000 + Equity
Compensation Philosophy:
We offer competitive compensation that includes base salary, variable compensation for relevant roles, meaningful equity, benefits, and perks.
We are hiring for this role across a range of scope, and the compensation band reflects that. Your offer depends on what we learn about your impact, craft, leadership, and communication during the interview process. We will tell you early where you’re tracking and talk comp with you before offer stage. Team members in the EU, UK, and APAC receive locally competitive benefits aligned with regional norms and regulations.
BENEFITS
Benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage, flexible vacation, a 401(k) plan, meals on in-office days in the US and more.
Location: United States
POWER A WORLD OF TRUST
Incode is the leading provider of world-class identity solutions that is reinventing the way humans authenticate and verify their identities online to power a world of digital trust.
Through our revolutionary identity solutions, we are unleashing the business potential of universal industries including finance, government, retail, hospitality, gaming, and more, by reducing fraud and transforming human interactions with data, products, and services.
We’re in the process of rapidly scaling our diverse global team and we’re looking for entrepreneurial individuals and leaders who are curious, driven, and excited by ownership to join a Unicorn-status scale-up!
About Incode
Incode Technologies is a leader in identity verification, offering innovative, AI-driven solutions tailored to diverse industry needs — from financial services to social media and marketplaces. Our platform is designed to maximize user conversion while minimizing fraud, through a multi-layered approach that includes proprietary AI, deepfake detection, and efficient user re-engagement tools. With close to 99% accuracy in facial recognition tied directly to official document issuance systems, and enterprise partnerships with Citibank, HSBC, Amazon, and Chime, Incode stands apart. With over $250M raised from General Atlantic and SoftBank, we're driving the future of digital trust — and we need a builder-minded Total Rewards leader who can design world-class reward programs from the ground up and own every detail of their execution.
The Impact You'll Make
Incode's Total Rewards function is at an inflection point. Over the past year we moved from a stock-option-only program to a new equity framework that blends time-based options with performance RSUs tied to ARR milestones, launched equity plans in new jurisdictions, expanded our market data, and scoped a job-architecture and leveling project ahead of the next compensation cycle. What we have not had is a single leader who owns all of it end to end.
As Vice President, Total Rewards, you will own compensation, equity, benefits and rewards operations for Incoders across the US, LATAM and EMEA. You'll be the executive the CEO, the Board and the leadership team turn to on pay decisions — from a Regional VP's offer in Mexico City to board member grants — and you'll build the governance, systems and team that make those decisions consistent, data-backed and fast.
This is a build-and-run role. You set the strategy — and you roll up your sleeves during the comp cycle.
What You'll Own & Drive
Rewards Strategy & Governance
— Define and steward Incode's compensation philosophy, market positioning and pay mix by region. Build the approval matrix, offer guidelines and exception process so decisions are consistent and quick. Serve as authorized signatory for promotions, salary increases, compensation adjustments and bonus confirmations.
Job Architecture & Leveling
— Lead the job-architecture and leveling project with our external compensation advisors and People Partners, and land it before the next compensation cycle: job families, levels, salary structures and career frameworks, with the metrics that show it worked.
Compensation Cycles
— Run the annual compensation and performance-linked increase cycle end to end with Finance and People Partners: budget by organization, band updates, manager recommendation frameworks, calibration support, letters and communications. Design and administer bonus and MBO plans with Finance.
Equity
— Own the equity program: new-hire, promotion, refresh and performance grants; the options-to-RSU framework and vesting design; board and advisor grants; and coordination with Finance, Legal and outside counsel on board resolutions, 409A valuations, the cap table and international plan compliance. Lead equity education for managers and employees.
Executive & Offer Compensation
— Partner with the CEO, CBOO and Talent Acquisition on executive and GM packages (base and variable mix, equity structure, sign-on and clawback terms), and support the Board's compensation committee on executive pay and benchmarking.
Global Benefits
— Set the benefits strategy by region with an impact-versus-cost lens; manage brokers, renewals and leave policies across countries so that what we offer in Mexico City, Belgrade and San Francisco each feels like Incode.
Sales Compensation Partnership
— Partner with Finance and Revenue Operations on sales and customer-success variable plan design, quota-setting methodology, pay mix and payout governance, bringing market data and plan-design discipline.
M&A Integration
— Lead rewards harmonization for acquisitions, including equity plan assumption, leveling alignment and benefits integration.
Tooling & AI
— Build an AI-enabled Total Rewards function: market benchmarking, pay-equity monitoring, comp-cycle operations and compensation communication, with clear guardrails on data privacy, accuracy and where human judgment stays non-negotiable. Own the TR tool stack and market data sources.
Team
— Lead and grow the Total Rewards team. Raise the bar on rigor, turnaround and documentation so that today's ad-hoc requests become repeatable processes.
The Qualities That Set You Apart
You build and you run
— You're comfortable owning the day-to-day with a lean team while building the structure that lets it scale.
You speak finance
— You build the models yourself, understand burn and dilution, and earn credibility with the CFO and the Board.
You bring executive presence — and pace
— You work with a CEO who moves fast. You make clear recommendations, protect internal equity, and know when to flex.
You operate at every altitude
— Board grants in the morning, a Regional VP's offer in Mexico City in the afternoon. The shift energizes you rather than frustrates you.
You're AI-forward
— You use AI tools in your own work and have a point of view on where they belong in Total Rewards.
Your Background
Experience
— 12+ years in compensation and total rewards, including 4+ years leading the function for a complex, multi-country employer such as a large technology or professional-services firm, with hands-on ownership of compensation cycles, equity programs and benefits. You have run the function with rigor at scale and want to build it at a company of Incode's stage.
Equity expertise
— Deep expertise in options and RSUs, refresh and performance-grant design, 409A and cap-table coordination, board grants and international equity plans. You have led an options-to-RSU transition or a comparable program change.
Global compensation
— Experience across the US and at least one of LATAM or EMEA. Mexico experience and Spanish are strong advantages.
Certification
— CCP, GRP or CEP certification is a plus.
Nice to Have
Prior experience at an identity verification, cybersecurity, KYC/AML, or data company.
Consulting background in total rewards or executive compensation.
Why Incode?
Be part of a mission-driven company at the intersection of AI, identity, and trust.
Work alongside a world-class team backed by General Atlantic and SoftBank.
Shape the future of how people — and companies — verify identity at global scale.
Competitive compensation, equity participation, and benefits.
A culture that rewards ownership, speed, and intellectual curiosity.
Aspects of our Culture:
High performance
Freedom & responsibility
Context, not control
Highly aligned, loosely coupled
Continuous Feedback

ABOUT SUPABASE
Supabase is the open-source Postgres development platform. 10M+ developers and thousands of enterprises depend on it every day. Database, Auth, Storage, Edge Functions, Realtime and Vector Search run on one platform: the same compute, disks, network and control plane, in each region we operate.
Supabase's hardest problems live in that platform. We run millions of databases, and the count compounds each quarter. Our customers range from a developer on a free project to a regulated enterprise that routes traffic through PrivateLink https://supabase.com/docs/guides/platform/privatelink and puts us through a security review before it signs. Reliability, capacity, cost, security and the enterprise features that close deals all come back to the same primitives. We're hiring a Product Lead to own them and build the product team behind them.
ABOUT THE ROLE
You lead product for the platform under every Supabase product: compute, disks, networking, the API gateway, capacity and regions. You also own what enterprises build and buy on top of it: read replicas https://supabase.com/docs/guides/platform/read-replicas, custom domains https://supabase.com/docs/guides/platform/custom-domains, PrivateLink, Bring Your Own Cloud, and the security and compliance controls they need before they sign. You report to the Head of Product, set direction for the platform, and work alongside the leads for our other product lines. You lead the platform's product managers, including our infrastructure product lead, and you hire and develop the PMs who grow the team.
WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
- You build and lead the platform product team. You decide how to split the area, hire the PMs who own the rest of it, and coach them to own their roadmaps end to end. You set the bar for their work.
- You decide what gets built, what gets deferred, and what gets cut. Each quarter you choose between enterprise unlocks that open new markets, cost and performance wins for the long tail of projects, and new capabilities that change what Supabase can run. The priorities are yours, and so is defending them.
- You own reliability and security as product surfaces. You set service levels that track what customers experience and hold teams to them. You decide which security and compliance commitments we make to enterprises, and you show customers what it takes to run millions of databases.
- You talk to customers across the full spectrum: developers running one small project, startups whose bill is mostly compute and disk, enterprise architects running a network or security review, and partners building on Supabase.
- You run the platform's planning. Your PMs write problem statements, requirements and launch metrics before engineering starts. After each launch, you check whether it moved enterprise deal velocity, project economics or platform reliability.
- You keep engineering, design and leadership aligned. The platform sits under each Supabase product, region and customer tier. You write down what's coming, why, and in what order, and you raise dependencies before they block anyone.
YOU MIGHT BE A GOOD FIT IF YOU:
- Have 8+ years of product management experience on developer tools or infrastructure, or have founded a company in this space. You can read an architecture doc and hold your own in a design discussion.
- Have built and led a team of product managers. You've hired PMs, grown them into owners of their own areas, and made the hard call when someone wasn't working out. You've led leads who run their own teams. You did it while the product grew from something you could hold in your head to a business where capacity, regions and cost set the limits.
- Have shipped cloud infrastructure as a product. You owned at least one of compute, networking, storage, or multi-region and multi-tenant systems yourself, at a cloud, infrastructure or PaaS company. You can judge the tradeoffs: instance sizing and capacity, disk and storage economics, scale-to-zero versus always-on, single-tenant versus shared, and the gap between "works in one region" and "works in twenty." Knowing how enterprises buy and security-review infrastructure (PrivateLink, BYOC, compliance, procurement) is a bonus.
- Move fast and use AI to do it. You'd rather ship something imperfect and learn from it. You hand AI the slow parts of the job (research, drafting, synthesising feedback) and spend your time on judgment calls.
- Build with what you own. You stand up a read replica, put a custom domain in front of a project, route traffic through PrivateLink and deploy onto BYOC. Your opinions come from using the product.
- Work async by default. We're fully remote. You make decisions in writing and move work forward without meetings.
WHAT WE OFFER
- Fully Remote
We hire globally. We believe you can do your best work from anywhere. There are no Supabase offices, but we provide a WeWork membership or co-working allowance you can use anywhere in the world.

adjoe builds the technologies behind mobile apps growth and monetization. With our core product Playtime Arcade, we've become the global leader in rewarded advertising, an ad unit built on a simple premise: users earn real in-app rewards for engaging with new apps. The result is one of the most effective value exchanges in adtech, connecting advertisers and publishers with over 770 million users annually.
Building Infrastructure behind 5.5 Billion Daily Ad Requests
The Cloud Engineering team is the core of our tech unit, the underlying infrastructure that every other team depends on to ship software and grow the business. Behind rewarded ad experience, the partner-facing dashboards, the ML pipelines, and the ad delivery systems serving millions of users daily, there is one team making sure it all stays online, performant, and cost-efficient.
400 million user events daily, traffic spikes of 150,000+ requests per second, and a data lake that feeds data scientists, BIs, and real-time ML inference across the entire ad stack. To handle this reliably and cost-efficiently, the team runs Kubernetes with event-driven autoscaling and Karpenter, manages Kafka clusters for real-time streaming, and provisions everything through Terraform. Rather than defaulting to managed AWS services, the team actively replaces them with open-source alternatives like Druid, Airflow, Grafana, Prometheus, Spark, Trino, MLFlow, Jupiter Hub, Elasticsearch, and Fluentbit as part of a deliberate move toward cloud-agnostic architecture. Cost efficiency is treated as an engineering constraint, not an afterthought, including AI-based anomaly detection on infrastructure costs.
Your Mission & Who We Are Looking For:
- 3+ years in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering. You've designed and operated cloud infrastructure at scale, with hands-on experience deploying and managing containerized applications in Kubernetes. At adjoe, you'll be working across a stack that includes Kafka, Druid, Airflow, Spark, Terraform, and Gitlab running on Kubernetes clusters across data centers.
- Deep in the AWS ecosystem. You have a strong understanding of AWS services (EKS, DynamoDB, SNS, SQS, IAM, Lambda) and manage infrastructure as code through Terraform. You know the tradeoffs between managed AWS services and open-source alternatives, and have opinions about when each makes sense.
- Microservice event-driven architecture is your daily context. You understand how microservices communicate: topics, queues, object storage, and can support backend teams building high-performance Go services across distributed environments.
- Reliable CI/CD is a product requirement. You build pipelines that are fast, predictable, and low-maintenance, ensuring smooth delivery without becoming a bottleneck.
- Hands-on with emerging infrastructure. You're comfortable migrating existing workloads to self-hosted solutions as well as introducing new tools boost business results.
🌎 We welcome applications from talent worldwide and provide relocation support to Hamburg, Germany for those ready to join our team.
What’s in It for You?
At adjoe, you’re not here to just close JIRA tickets, you’re helping build the infrastructure behind one of the most impactful platforms in adtech. The systems you work on will reach hundreds of millions of users and power billions of decisions every day.
- Go Big. Own projects with impact on 770M users and push adtech boundaries.
- Move Fast. Ship solutions multiple times a day, learn from results, and keep momentum.
- Be Direct. Solve problems openly and collaborate across teams.
- Thrive Together. Grow with a diverse, global team of people from over 40 different countries that learn from each other.
- Have Fun. Celebrate wins, enjoy daily victories, and bring your energy.

What You Will Do:
- Executive Relationship Management: Navigate and manage high-stakes technical relationships with C-level stakeholders (CTOs, Architects, and Engineering Leads) at our most strategic publisher partners.
- Success & Service Excellence: Ensure industry-leading satisfaction levels and uphold rigorous Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for our global publisher base.
- Technical Implementation: Oversee end-to-end complex onboardings and technical integrations, ensuring seamless alignment between publisher tech stacks and our proprietary systems.
- Strategic Escalation: Act as the final point of escalation for “unsolvable” technical bugs, delivery discrepancies, or high-priority system failures.
- Product Advocacy: Partner closely with Product and Engineering teams to translate direct publisher feedback and technical pain points into actionable items for the product roadmap.
- Mentorship & Growth: Lead, mentor, and scale a team of Technical Account Managers (TAMs), fostering a culture of technical curiosity and client-first problem-solving.
- Standardization: Develop and refine “Playbooks” for onboarding, troubleshooting, and partner management to ensure a consistent, world-class partner experience.
Who You Are:
- You bring 8+ years of experience in Ad Tech, MarTech, or SaaS, including at least 5 years in a formal leadership or people-management capacity.
- Executive Ownership: You embody a “driver” mentality. You take full accountability for key initiatives, navigating ambiguity with a sense of urgency and ensuring projects reach the finish line through proactive leadership.
- Analytical Power: You possess elite problem-solving skills and are comfortable “getting into the weeds” with data. You are proficient in SQL for database querying, as well as Excel and other advanced analytics tools.
- Technical Literacy: You have a solid understanding of HTML and JavaScript (or a similar scripting language). You understand the architecture of the web and how disparate technical systems communicate.
- Systems Expertise: You have a working knowledge of HTTP REST endpoints and the ability to diagnose failures within API-driven environments.
- Master Communicator: Fluent in English, with the ability to clearly translate complex technical concepts for executive stakeholders and business priorities for engineering teams—without anything getting lost in translation.
How You’ll Stand Out:
- Fluency in German is a strong plus, enabling close collaboration with teams and stakeholders across our Hamburg HQ and wider DACH region.
- Familiarity with Java, Kotlin, or Swift, or personal experience building and deploying your own applications.
- A deep understanding of the mobile ad tech landscape, including SDK integrations and current industry best practices.
We welcome applications from people who will contribute to the diversity of our company.

Creating solutions that run on 13% of the world’s smartphones
The Mobile Integrations team builds the core technology that turns advertising from an interruption into a rewarded experience for 770 million users. We own the robust, lightweight, integration layer between our ad engine and the global mobile ecosystem, ensuring our technology operates with minimal overhead while reaching a massive portion of the smartphone market.
On the client side, our technology performs smoothly across 20 million daily SDK initializations. We build native Swift and Kotlin SDKs optimized for ms initialization and minimal binary overhead, with Unity, Flutter, and React Native wrappers that provide a unified API across the entire mobile ecosystem. Behind the scenes, a high-throughput Go and DynamoDB architecture handles the real-time state synchronization of millions of concurrent sessions. When your code runs on nearly one out of every seven smartphones on Earth, every millisecond of execution and every byte of memory counts.
Your Mission & Who We Are Looking For:
- Documentation is your product. You have 2–4+ years in Developer Relations, Solutions Engineering, or Technical Account Management. You own and evolve external developer documentation end-to-end: API references, SDK guides, integration tutorials, and example applications, and treat it with the same rigor as shipping code. You drive documentation standards and consistency across teams.
- You build to validate. You create lightweight demos and sample apps in Swift or Kotlin to test and support what you document. You contribute directly to documentation tooling like Docusaurus, including Markdown, frontend components, and styling. You're comfortable with mobile SDKs, APIs, HTML, and JavaScript/TypeScript to identify friction in the developer experience and fix it.
- AI-assisted, not AI-dependent. You use code copilots and LLMs to explore unfamiliar codebases, analyze SDKs, and accelerate content creation, but you validate every output for technical accuracy. You're also comfortable building and maintaining AI tools, like publisher-facing integration assistants, to reduce integration friction at scale.
- Debugging is part of the job. On the support side, you perform root cause analysis across mobile apps, APIs, and data flows, working with SQL, dashboards, and logs to investigate integration health and performance issues. You collaborate with TAMs and Growth Managers on technical escalations.
- Cross-functional and cross-regional by default. You manage multiple documentation and integration projects in parallel, work across Product, Engineering, and Product Marketing to deliver documentation at launch, and optimize resources culturally and linguistically across regions. Strong organizational skills and the ability to bring structure where none exists are a must. AdTech, mobile monetization, or SDK-based product experience is a strong plus.

- Event-Driven Pipeline Engineering: You have experience building event-driven systems using Kafka and SQS/SNS. Your mission is to establish reliable asynchronous microservice communication, collect billions of daily API events, and aggregate them in Kafka streams so they can be queried from our data lake in a matter of seconds.
- Low-Latency NoSQL Database Design: You bring extensive experience with large-scale key-value databases such as DynamoDB, Cassandra, or ScyllaDB. You will deploy this knowledge to optimize our database layer, ensuring we consistently deliver few-millisecond response times to block fraudulent transactions in real time.
- Technical and People Leadership: You have a proven track record of managing people, mentoring developers, and setting technical direction in fast-changing environments. You will lead our backend engineers, establish high engineering standards, and run peer code reviews to foster alignment across our international team.
- Adversarial Fraud Investigation: You think like a hacker and naturally find ways around systems that block your progress. You will investigate novel fraud complaints, collaborate with mobile developers to reproduce exploits or cheats, and continuously improve our systems to counter evolving Android and iOS threats.
- Plus: Mobile Development Fundamentals: Basic knowledge of Android or iOS development is a plus. This understanding will help you collaborate with mobile engineers to analyze device integrity modifications like Xposed frameworks, Magisk modules, and jailbroken devices.

Ubuntu is the most widely used Linux distribution in the world, delivering kernels across a vast matrix of versions, architectures, and configurations – with up to 15 years of security and maintenance commitments for Long Term Support (LTS) releases. Ensuring the quality and reliability of these kernels demands a dedicated, systematic approach to testing at scale.
The Canonical Kernel Team is looking for a Test Engineer to take ownership of our kernel testing strategy and infrastructure. You will design and maintain test plans covering functional correctness, stability, performance, and security. You will build and evolve automated test frameworks – including stress testing, fuzzing, code coverage analysis, and regression detection – that not only must remain effective across many concurrently supported kernel versions spanning years of maintenance, but must be able to scale with the high demand for Ubuntu kernels (currently more than 160 under active support).
The successful candidate will bring strong Python skills, familiarity with Linux kernel internals, and experience building test infrastructure that scales. You will work closely with kernel engineers to catch regressions early, validate fixes, and ensure every kernel we ship meets the highest standards of reliability.
Location:
This role will be based remotely in the APAC region, except for Taipei, Taiwan, and Beijing, China, which are office-based locations.
What your day will look like
Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive test plans covering functional correctness, stability, performance, and security for Ubuntu Linux kernels
Build and improve automated test infrastructure for continuous kernel quality validation across multiple kernel versions and architectures
Maintain long-lived test suites that evolve alongside Ubuntu’s many concurrently supported kernel versions spanning years of maintenance
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for continuous kernel quality validation
Conduct performance benchmarking and regression detection across kernel releases
Measure and improve kernel code coverage, identifying gaps in test coverage and creating tests to address them
Execute and analyze stress tests covering CPU scheduling, memory management, I/O subsystems, networking, and filesystem workloads
Develop and maintain fuzzing harnesses to discover kernel vulnerabilities and reliability issues using tools such as syzkaller, Trinity, or custom fuzzers
Collaborate regularly and proactively with a globally distributed team
Contribute to upstream test suites and testing frameworks
Document test methodologies, results, and coverage gaps
What we are looking for in you
Significant programming experience in Python
Experience with test frameworks such as LTP, kselftest, xfstests, stress-ng, fio, or similar
Experience designing and executing system-level tests: functional, stress, performance, or regression testing
Familiarity with CI/CD systems (Jenkins, GitHub CI, or similar)
Experience maintaining test suites over long periods, adapting to evolving software across multiple supported versions
Familiarity with Linux (Ubuntu or Debian preferred but not required), Linux kernel internals and subsystems
Experience with Linux systems administration and automation
Solid background with git
Well-organized, self-starting and able to deliver to fixed schedules
Professional written and spoken English with excellent communication skills
Ability to travel twice a year, for company events up to two weeks each
Additional skills that you might also bring
Familiarity with kernel fuzzing tools and techniques (e.g. syzkaller, Trinity, AFL, or custom harnesses)
Experience with code coverage instrumentation (e.g. gcov, kcov, LLVM source-based coverage)
Knowledge of kernel tracing and observability tools (e.g. ftrace, perf, bpftrace, eBPF)
Familiarity with static analysis tools (e.g. sparse, smatch, Coccinelle) as part of a testing workflow
Experience with fault injection frameworks (e.g. failslab, fail_make_request) for reliability testing
Prior experience with test infrastructure at scale (provisioning, orchestration, result aggregation)
Experience with Ubuntu/Debian packaging or Snap
Knowledge of virtualization technologies (KVM, QEMU) and container runtimes
Cloud infrastructure experience (AWS, GCP, Azure, or OpenStack)
Prior involvement with open source testing communities or projects
