Our Machine Learning Core Algorithms team is responsible for developing novel algorithms and features that expand our health and fitness capabilities with wearable sensor data. We combine continuous physiological data with clinical research and expert knowledge to generate features that are both scientifically grounded and deeply impactful for members. This role is located on our Core Algorithms team: performance-related insights for sleep, recovery, and exercise.
As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer on our Core Algorithms team, you will design, build, and productionize ML systems that deliver meaningful, personalized metrics to millions of members. You will own the ML systems you build in collaboration with applied machine learning scientists. You will work at the intersection of data science, backend engineering, and cloud infrastructure – deploying robust, scalable, and reliable ML solutions built on physiological and behavioral data streams. This role emphasizes strong coding skills, system design, and the ability to deliver production-ready ML systems.
Responsibilities:
- Create, improve, and maintain production services that provide analysis for core features in collaboration with applied ML scientists and MLOps engineers.
- Improve ML data pipelines, tooling, and validation systems that support robust model performance.
- Work alongside applied ML scientists to translate research prototypes into production ML systems optimized for scale, latency and cost efficiency.
- Collaborate with researchers and Product teams to align model development with physiological insights and member impact.
- Build operational maturity within the Core Algorithms team as well as the broader Machine Learning team, developing processes for observability, alerting, and incident response (including on-call rotations).
- Develop applied ML operational infrastructure (frameworks, evaluation criteria, performance validation).
- Mentor other engineers and applied ML scientists on production practices, raising the bar through code and system design review.
Qualifications:

Perplexity is revolutionizing how companies get work done. We are seeking an Associate Product Marketing Manager to join our team and serve as the bridge between how our products actually work and how the world learns to use them. You will develop the deepest product understanding on the team and translate it into webinars and education materials that inspire adoption and drive growth.
If you have a passion for understanding how things work, thrive in taking something complex and making it simple, and want to build a world-class product education engine that turns new users into power users, this role is for you.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Know the product cold. Develop a deeper working knowledge of our products than anyone else in marketing, using every feature the day it ships, building the workflows yourself, and staying close to the teams that built them.
- Turn complexity into clarity. Transform complex product capabilities into simple, specific, and accurate explanations, defining not just what we built, but how it works, when to use it, and why it matters.
- Teach at scale. Own product webinars end to end, from content and live demos to delivery and follow-up, spanning onboarding series, feature deep-dives, and use-case walkthroughs.
- Build the education engine. Create the product education materials our users learn from: how-to guides, demo flows, video walkthroughs, and use-case libraries that make customers materially better at their jobs.
- Obsess over the user. Maintain a sharp, real-time view of what users misunderstand and where they get stuck, ensuring our education remains grounded in how people actually use the product rather than how we assume they do.
- Measure outcomes, not just outputs. Tie webinars and education content to tangible activation, adoption, and retention, running lightweight experiments to iterate fast on format, content, and delivery.
- Get products to launch. Own and coordinate the cross-functional workstreams that take products from built to launch, keeping teams aligned on dependencies, timelines, and the work needed to bring each launch to market.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 2-3 years of experience in product marketing, customer education, business development, or a related role, ideally within a high-growth technology company, or work that proves the skill regardless of title.
- Proven ability to synthesize complex technical concepts into simple, specific, and provable explanations that travel across new users, power users, and admins.
- Genuine obsession with product: you explore every setting, test every new feature, and can explain what a product does better than the team that built it.
- Sharp teaching and storytelling skills grounded in data, with the ability to summarize how a feature works in a single sentence and demonstrate it live.
- High slope: you learn unfamiliar products and domains fast, and your rate of improvement is your standout trait.
- Extreme comfort delivering clarity in high-velocity, ambiguous environments.

From Fivetran’s founding until now, our mission has remained the same: to make access to data as simple and reliable as electricity. With Fivetran, customer data arrives in their warehouses, canonical and ready to query, with no engineering or maintenance required. We’re proud that more organizations continue to leverage our technology every day to become truly data-driven.
About Us
Fivetran and dbt Labs are bringing together two industry-leading companies with a shared mission: helping organizations unlock the full value of their data. Together, we’re delivering the data infrastructure layer that helps organizations move, transform, and trust their data — from the moment data moves, through every transformation, to the context teams and AI systems rely on. Fivetran helps organizations automate data movement across the systems, clouds, engines, and tools they rely on. dbt Labs pioneered analytics engineering, helping teams transform data into reliable, governed insights. Together, we support thousands of organizations as they build a trusted foundation for analytics, AI, and better business decisions.
As we bring our teams and technology together, we’re building on the strengths of both companies while continuing to deliver the products and experiences our customers know and trust. It’s an exciting time to join us: we’re creating a company with the scale, talent, and technology to help more organizations put their data to work with greater speed, confidence, and impact. During this transition period, you may see references to both Fivetran and dbt Labs throughout our recruiting process as we integrate our teams, systems, and career sites.
About the role
The Global Alliance Lead is one of the most strategically important roles in our Ecosystem. You will own our relationship with one of the world's leading technology and transformation partners end-to-end — from C-suite engagement through to practitioner enablement and joint pipeline creation. You will be the architect of how the GSI and NewCo go to market together, ensuring our platform becomes the trusted data foundation inside the GSI’s agentic AI delivery practice globally.
This is a senior individual contributor role reporting to the Global Head of GSI Relationships. You will orchestrate across sales, partner solution architecture, marketing, and partner operations — bringing the full weight of the organisation to bear on one of our highest-leverage commercial relationships.
What You'll Do
Relationship strategy and executive engagement
Own the global GSI relationship at partner and C-suite level, building trusted relationships with Client, practice and delivery team leads.
Define and execute a multi-year joint strategy that positions dbt + Fivetran as the default open data infrastructure layer within the GSI’s enterprise AI and agentic workflow delivery
Represent NewCo at GSI’s internal forums, client briefings, and industry events — articulating a compelling narrative around open data infrastructure and its relevance to the GSI’s strategy.
Platform integration and practitioner adoption
Drive adoption of the dbt + Fivetran platform within GSI delivery teams — ensuring practitioners, solution architects and practice leads are certified, confident, and actively recommending the platform in client engagements
Work with GSI's practice leadership to embed NewCo's platform into their business groups, standard delivery architectures, RFP responses and client proposals — with particular focus on GSI's Data & AI practices
Enablement and go-to-market
Design and execute a frictionless enablement programme for GSI practitioners globally — certifications, reference architectures, use case playbooks, and joint delivery assets
Partner with GSI's marketing and alliances teams to develop joint go-to-market campaigns anchored to open data infrastructure, trusted AI delivery, and closing the gap between AI POC and production
Support GSI in building and positioning client-facing agentic AI value accelerators — with NewCo platform as the foundational data layer — the "NewCo inside" model
Pipeline and opportunity development
Source and develop new pipeline opportunities through the GSI relationship — identifying client situations where open data infrastructure creates measurable value.
Drive co-sell motions alongside GSI account teams, ensuring NewCo is present and influential at the point of client opportunity
Maintain a rigorous view of GSI-engaged pipeline — tracking opportunity sourcing, progression, and closed business attributed to the alliance
Telemetry and performance
Define and track the signals that indicate a healthy, high-performing GSI relationship: certifications, sourced opportunities, platform deployments, practitioner engagement, and joint wins
Report regularly to the Global Head of GSI Relationships on alliance health, pipeline contribution, and strategic progress
Identify risks and gaps in the relationship early and mobilise internal resources to address them
What you will bring
15+ years of experience in strategic alliances, enterprise sales, or partner management within the data, cloud, or enterprise software industry
Demonstrated experience managing complex, global relationships with major consulting firms or global system integrators at a senior level
Deep understanding of the modern data stack and the business value of open data infrastructure — dbt, Fivetran, or equivalent experience strongly preferred
Ability to engage credibly at C-suite and partner level within a global consulting organisation — understanding how GSIs make decisions, build practices, and go to market
Strong commercial instincts — able to identify, thoroughly qualify and develop joint pipeline opportunities, not just manage existing relationships
Track record of operating as a cross-functional orchestrator — influencing without direct authority across sales, engineering, marketing, and operations
Exceptional communication and storytelling skills — able to translate technical platform capabilities into compelling business narratives for consulting and enterprise audiences
Familiarity with AI, agentic workflows, and the data governance landscape is a strong advantage + strong knowledge of GSI's operating model and contacts within.
Willingness to travel globally to engage GSI leadership and teams across regions
What Success Looks Like in Year One
A clearly defined joint strategy with GSI signed off at partner Executive level and on track to primary Global Strategic Practice.
Material increase in GSI practitioner certifications and active platform deployments across Data & AI and Insights & Data practices
GSI-sourced pipeline contributing measurably to NewCo's revenue
At least two joint go-to-market campaigns live in the market delivering pipeline — anchored to GSI's agentic AI and trusted data agenda
First client-facing agentic value accelerators built on NewCo platform delivered with GSI — positioning NewCo as the trusted data infrastructure inside GSI's AI delivery
A telemetry framework in place tracking alliance health and pipeline influence
Why This Role
This is a rare opportunity to own a marquee relationship at a defining moment for both companies. GSI’s are publicly committing to capturing the full value of the agentic AI revolution for customers — and the merged dbt + Fivetran platform is the trusted data infrastructure that makes AI production-ready. The person who builds this alliance well will sit at the intersection of the two most important forces in enterprise technology right now: the scale of a global systems integrator and the open infrastructure that makes AI trustworthy enough to deploy at scale.
This position qualifies for Fivetran’s incentive plan, and it’s common for employees in this role to achieve the total on-target earnings.

About the Role
The Azul Sales Engineer is a hands-on, deeply technical pre-sales leader responsible for delivering the technical win across opportunities within their territory. Azul sells to the most demanding Java estates in the world — enterprises running mission-critical, high-throughput, latency-sensitive applications on the JVM — so this role demands genuine engineering depth, not just presentation polish.
A Sales Engineer earns credibility with engineers, architects, and executives alike by getting hands on: running technical evaluations in the customer’s own environment, tuning the JVM, interpreting GC and performance data, and translating measurable technical outcomes into clear business value. Beyond individual deals, the Sales Engineer uses their experience to mentor and uplevel the broader SE team.
What You'll Do (aka Responsibilities)
Own the technical win.
Drive pre-sales engagements end to end — discovery of the prospect’s business and technical challenges, mapping Azul portfolio capabilities to those challenges, and validating the solution through demonstration and hands-on proof.
Lead hands-on pilots.
Design, scope, and personally execute product pilots and proofs-of-concept inside the customer’s existing environment: installing and configuring the JVM, running representative workloads, and capturing empirical results the customer trusts.
Prove performance.
Plan and run performance-focused engagements: establish benchmarks and success criteria, measure latency, throughput, GC pause behavior and resource efficiency, analyze GC and JIT logs, tune JVM settings, and quantify the improvement Azul delivers against the incumbent.
Win at enterprise scale.
Navigate complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise engagements (large production estates, strict SLAs, security and compliance review, and long procurement cycles) coordinating technical validation across many teams and environments.
Present at every altitude.
Deliver presentations and demos across all technical levels, from CxOs to hands-on developers, to “make the complex simple” and communicate Azul’s value to each audience.
Respond to technical requirements.
Understand and respond to solicited and unsolicited proposals (RFI/RFP) by aligning Azul capabilities against detailed technical and business requirements.
Orchestrate the extended team.
Engage Product Management, Engineering, and the CTO office as needed to remove technical blockers and secure the win.
Partner on territory strategy.
Work alongside your Account Executive(s) on territory planning: pipeline generation, growing existing accounts, and enabling partners.
Grow and retain customers.
Nurture existing clients to promote customer success and to create new upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
Evangelize.
Present at conferences, workshops, and roadshows to raise awareness of the Azul portfolio and build funnel.
Mentor the team.
Provide expert assistance to other SEs on pilot planning and execution, run training sessions, and serve as a primary mentor to onboarding SEs.
Be a trusted advisor.
Advise your manager on product, territory, and team matters.
Technical Competencies
These are the core technical strengths that define a successful Sales Engineer at Azul:
Java & the JVM.
Deep, hands-on knowledge of Java internals and the JVM: class loading, JIT compilation, memory model, and garbage collection. Able to read and reason about GC logs and runtime behavior, not just describe them.
Performance engineering.
Practical experience benchmarking, profiling, and tuning JVM-based applications for latency, throughput, and scale; comfortable diagnosing GC pauses, warm-up, jitter, and resource-efficiency issues in production-like conditions.
Hands-on aptitude.
Confident on the command line and in customer environments: installing, configuring, and troubleshooting runtimes; able to build and run a POC independently.
Enterprise application stacks.
Solid understanding of Java-based applications and frameworks that run on or alongside Azul products (e.g., Cassandra, Kafka, Solr, Spring).
Cloud & containers.
Working knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and container/orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Portfolio SME.
Demonstrate SME-level depth and breadth across the entire Azul product suite, and continuously grow technical acumen through enablement, hands-on experimentation, and self-study.
What You'll Bring
Qualifications
5+ years in a Sales Engineering / pre-sales role
supporting enterprise software, ideally in the Java, middleware, performance, or infrastructure space.
3+ years of hands-on Java development or testing experience
with a demonstrable command of Java architecture.
Proven track record of hands-on pilots and POCs
and of performance-related engagements where you measured and demonstrated technical results in a customer environment.
Experience selling into large enterprises
— complex, multi-stakeholder, mission-critical production environments.
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent)
in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related IT discipline; a master’s or higher in an IT or business discipline is a plus.
Working knowledge of cloud and container technologies
(e.g., AWS, Docker/Kubernetes).
Solid knowledge of sales process and CRM
(MEDDICC and Salesforce preferred).
Willing and able to travel up to 30%.
Fluent in your territory’s primary language,
with strong professional English.
Skills & Attributes
Strong oral and written communication, effective one-on-one and in front of large groups.
Proven critical-thinking and problem-solving skills; able to solve complex technical challenges with minimal supervision.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, with excellent time management.
Highly professional and ethical.
Thrives in a fast-paced environment and can multitask across client challenges, meetings, and team needs, occasionally outside normal business hours.
Collaborates across disciplines, with the EQ to understand multiple perspectives toward a common goal.
A proven winning record.

At WHOOP, we're on a mission to unlock human performance and healthspan. WHOOP empowers members to perform at a higher level and live longer through a deeper understanding of their bodies and daily lives.
We are seeking an Associate Director, Core Algorithms (Cloud) to lead the teams responsible for WHOOP's cloud-based algorithmic intelligence — the models and systems that transform physiological data into the sleep, recovery, and training insights our members rely on daily. This role is also responsible for ensuring our cloud algorithms evolve alongside WHOOP hardware, partnering with Sensor Intelligence and Hardware teams to translate new sensor capabilities into production-grade algorithmic experiences.
You will own the technical vision, execution, and organizational health of this team. You'll drive the evolution of our core production algorithms such as workout detection, strain, and sleep staging toward higher accuracy, better member experiences, and more mature development practices. You will partner closely with ML Platform, Sensor Intelligence, Research, Product, and Software Engineering to define what WHOOP algorithms can enable — not just how they perform technically, but how they show up for members.
This is a role for someone who has built and shipped physiological ML at scale in a consumer product, who has a deep product instinct for what algorithms mean to end users, and who knows how to elevate an ML organization's practices: raising the bar on tooling, processes, and standards to match the ambition of the work.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the cloud ML team responsible for the algorithms powering sleep, recovery, and training
- Directly manage applied ML scientists and ML engineers; provide coaching, career development, and performance feedback that grows individual contributors into strong technical leaders
- Ensure the technical quality bar for algorithm development is maintained by establishing the processes, reviews, and standards that guarantee rigor from research through deployment, and diving into designs and architectural decisions where necessary
- Help drive the vision for what WHOOP algorithms and next-generation sensors can enable; advocate for member experience and push the boundaries of what our data makes possible
- Ensure cloud algorithms remain compatible with future hardware generations; partner with Sensor Intelligence and Hardware to evolve proof-of-concept algorithms that leverage new sensor capabilities and bring them to production readiness
- Establish and improve development lifecycle practices: experiment management, model validation, deployment pipelines, and production monitoring
- Partner with ML Platform / MLOps to define requirements and drive maturity improvements across experiment tracking, model monitoring, deployment automation, and observability
- Drive cross-functional alignment with Sensor Intelligence, Product, Software Engineering, and Research teams
QUALIFICATIONS
- 8+ years of experience in machine learning or applied data science, with hands-on experience developing and shipping ML models for a consumer product
- 4+ years of people leadership experience directly managing machine learning scientists/engineers, with demonstrated growth of team members and a track record of building high-performing teams
- Experience scaling a production ML organization: growing teams and leaders, identifying gaps in the development lifecycle, and driving improvements that increase velocity, reliability, and rigor
- Deep product sense: ability to think about algorithms from the member's perspective, drive the vision for what algorithms can enable, and ensure the team is building toward meaningful user outcomes
- Ability to evaluate technical designs, guide architectural decisions, and ensure quality at the system level, without needing to write code day-to-day
- Experience defining and driving cross-functional programs with engineering, product, and science partners
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex ML concepts to diverse audiences including product, engineering, and executive stakeholders
PREFERRED
- Experience building algorithms using physiological or wearable sensor data (e.g., PPG, accelerometer, temperature, bioimpedance)
- Experience managing through hardware-coupled development timelines where sensor availability and device generations constrain algorithm roadmaps
- Familiarity with time-series modeling, sequential data, and the specific challenges of continuous physiological monitoring
This role is based in the WHOOP office located in Boston, MA. The successful candidate must be prepared to relocate if necessary to work out of the Boston, MA office.
Interested in the role, but don’t meet every qualification? We encourage you to still apply! At WHOOP, we believe there is much more to a candidate than what is written on paper, and we value character as much as experience. As we continue to build a diverse and inclusive environment, we encourage anyone who is interested in this role to apply.
WHOOP is an Equal Opportunity Employer and participates in E-verify https://www.e-verify.gov/ to determine employment eligibility. It is unlawful in Massachusetts to require or administer a lie detector test as a condition of employment or continued employment. An employer who violates this law shall be subject to criminal penalties and civil liability.
At WHOOP, we view total compensation as the combination of base salary, equity, and benefits, with equity serving as a key differentiator that aligns our employees with the long-term success of the company and allows every member of our corporate team to own part of WHOOP and share in the company’s long-term growth and success.
The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $200,000-$245,000 Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within each range, individual pay is based on factors such as job-related skills, experience, performance, and relevant education or training.
In addition to the base salary, the successful candidate will also receive benefits and a generous equity package.
These ranges may be modified in the future to reflect evolving market conditions and organizational needs. While most offers will typically fall toward the starting point of the range, total compensation will depend on the candidate’s specific qualifications, expertise, and alignment with the role’s requirements.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Own and execute Humanoid's commercial strategy across MENA, with an initial focus on Saudi Arabia and the GCC.
- Build and manage the regional sales pipeline from strategic introductions through to contract execution.
- Develop relationships with C-suite executives, government stakeholders, sovereign wealth funds, ministries, and major enterprise customers.

- Represent Humanoid at executive meetings, industry events, and strategic customer engagements across the region.
- Work closely with Product, Engineering, and Leadership to ensure customer feedback shapes product development and go-to-market strategy.
- Own regional revenue targets, forecasting, and commercial performance.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 10+ years of commercial leadership experience in robotics, automation, industrial technology, AI, or advanced manufacturing.
- Proven experience building and scaling enterprise sales across the Middle East, particularly Saudi Arabia and the GCC.
- Demonstrated success selling complex technical solutions to enterprise, government, or sovereign customers.
- Established network across key regional organisations, including major enterprises, government entities, and strategic partners.
- Experience leading strategic partnerships and managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience owning revenue targets, forecasting, and business planning.
- Exceptional executive presence with outstanding communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to operate independently in a fast-moving, early-stage environment and build new markets from scratch.
WHAT WE OFFER
- Competitive equity: stock options with meaningful upside as we scale.
- 30+ paid days off, including 23 days of annual leave, all UK bank holidays, and additional company closure days (including Christmas–New Year shutdown).
- Private healthcare, including virtual and in-person care.
- Pension scheme with 8% total contribution (5% employee, 3% employer) on full earnings.
- Free daily breakfast, catered lunch, and snacks in-office.
- Work at the frontier - collaborate daily with world-class engineers, researchers, and product experts building the next generation of AI and humanoid robotics.

About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role
The Safeguards team is responsible for ensuring our models and products are developed and deployed safely. We're looking for engineers for our Review Tooling team, which builds the systems that humans — and increasingly Claude — use to investigate potential harms and take enforcement actions across Anthropic's first-party products and third-party cloud platforms.
You'll own the tools our safety investigators rely on to understand what's happening on our platforms and act on it, as well as the platform underneath those tools. That platform includes data analysis capabilities, privacy-preserving primitives that keep review workflows compatible with our data retention commitments, and a sandbox environment where new review interfaces and workflows can be built and iterated quickly.
These are internal tools, but they are anything but low-stakes: the speed, clarity, and reliability of this tooling directly determines how quickly Anthropic can identify harmful behavior, make sound enforcement decisions, and feed signals back into model training and safety classifiers. You'll partner closely with policy, operations, data science, legal, and privacy teams to ensure our enforcement systems are effective, accurate, and trustworthy.
Key responsibilities
Build investigation, review, and enforcement tooling for both first-party and third-party platform surfaces — including case queues, investigation views, decision and audit logging, and account-actioning workflows
Develop the platform layer of reusable APIs, data storage, and backend services that lets new review workflows be stood up quickly and safely
Stand up and run deployments of this tooling across multiple clouds, including inside cloud-provider partner environments where data must stay in place. Keep the deployments consistent through shared deployment pipelines, smoke tests, observability, and alerting
Scale review through automation, including enabling reviewers to use Claude effectively and building toward Claude-assisted and Claude-driven review workflows
Partner with policy, operations, legal, privacy, and data science stakeholders to translate enforcement and investigation needs into reliable, well-designed systems that measurably reduce handling time and decision error
Instrument the tools you ship — surfacing metrics on queue health, reviewer throughput, and decision quality — and ensure tooling evolves alongside new privacy primitives and data retention commitments
Minimum qualifications
A technical background in full-stack or platform engineering, with the ability to engage deeply in architecture and design discussions
Experience shipping internal tools or platforms with demanding operational users, and a track record of improving their workflows measurably
Experience working cross-functionally with non-engineering partners such as operations, policy, or legal teams
Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain technical tradeoffs to non-technical stakeholders
Care about the societal impacts of AI and want your work to make powerful systems safer
Preferred qualifications
8+ years of industry software engineering experience
Experience building data labeling, trust and safety, integrity, fraud, or abuse-prevention tooling, or other systems supporting human review at scale
Have built systems that handle sensitive or regulated data, with requirements around access control, auditability, retention, and data residency
Have worked across multiple cloud providers, or built infrastructure designed to be provider-agnostic
A product-minded approach to internal users: you work directly with the people using your tools, watch where they struggle, and fix it
The annual compensation range for this role is listed below.
For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role.
Annual Salary:
$320,000
—
$485,000 USD
Logistics
Minimum education:
Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
Required field of study:
A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience
Minimum years of experience:
Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position
Location-based hybrid policy:
Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices.
Visa sponsorship:
We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this.
We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification.
Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed. Research shows that people who identify as being from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy, so we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to submit an application if you're interested in this work. We think AI systems like the ones we're building have enormous social and ethical implications. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team.
Your safety matters to us.
To protect yourself from potential scams, remember that Anthropic recruiters only contact you from @anthropic.com email addresses. In some cases, we may partner with vetted recruiting agencies who will identify themselves as working on behalf of Anthropic. Be cautious of emails from other domains. How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.
