About the Job:
LaunchDarkly is the runtime control plane for the AI software development lifecycle (AI-SDLC). Thousands of engineering organizations, including more than a quarter of the Fortune 500, use LaunchDarkly to ship, measure, and control every change that reaches production, whether it is written by people or by AI. Feature management built the company. The next chapter is bigger: as the cost of writing code falls and the volume of change outpaces human review, the constraint is moving from writing software to controlling it. LaunchDarkly is building the critical infrastructure for the AI-SDLC. Customers build their own software factories. We build the rails they run on.
We are hiring the leader of Product Management for LaunchDarkly. Reporting to the Chief Product Officer, you will own the product management organization end to end: the people, operating system, roadmap commitments, and commercial outcomes across every product pillar. You will sit at the technology leadership table as the Product Management peer to the heads of Engineering and Product Design.
The CPO sets the company’s product vision and strategic direction. You will build and run the product organization that turns that direction into a coherent portfolio, shipped outcomes, customer adoption, and revenue growth. This is a hands-on operating role for a product leader who knows how to build the machine, make the tradeoffs, and finish the work.
Responsibilities:
Lead cross-functional product leadership.
Serve as the product counterpart to Engineering, Product Design, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Finance. Resolve cross-functional tradeoffs, establish shared commitments, and ensure LaunchDarkly presents one coherent product strategy to customers and the market.
Build and lead the product management organization.
Design the organization intentionally, allocate resources effectively, maintain a high talent bar, build succession plans, and establish clear ownership for every product surface a customer or sales representative may ask about.
Own the product operating system.
Establish the cadence that turns strategy into shipped software and met goals, including quarterly commitments, leadership reviews, squad-level inspection, launch briefs, new product introduction (NPI), and the product-to-field handoff. Make execution predictable enough that the executive team does not have to ask whether something shipped.
Drive roadmap delivery across every product pillar.
Lead execution across Enterprise, Foundation, Observability, Experimentation, Agent Control, Automation, and the platform beneath them. Build a culture of doing what we say we are going to do.
Create portfolio discipline without slowing the company down.
Ensure new bets enter the portfolio through explicit decisions rather than hallway conversations, while preserving the flexibility to respond to market changes. Marketing dates should be commitments the product organization can confidently support.
Drive finishing.
A product is not done when version one ships; it is done when the team has iterated based on learning. A launch is not done when it ships; it is done when the field is amplifying it. A process is not done when it is written; it is done when it creates leverage for the team.
Own packaging execution and commercial outcomes.
Lead how pricing and packaging land in the product and in the field so every representative can sell the full platform and every pillar contributes to its commercial goals.
Stay close to customers and the field.
Spend time with the largest customers and most demanding evaluators, translate what you learn into product decisions, and build a process that brings customer and field insight into the roadmap at scale.
Use AI to increase product and engineering leverage.
Help the organization adopt AI-assisted development and product practices in ways that increase delivery speed while maintaining quality and judgment.
What Success Looks Like in Your First Year:
The organization is complete. The leadership model is in place, product lines have the right pillar leadership, spans and layers are intentional, decision rights are clear, succession risks are understood, and the organization can continue to scale.
Delivery increases every quarter. Shipped output per team rises quarter over quarter as AI-assisted development compounds, with quality holding.
The operating system runs without the CPO driving it. Reviews, check-ins, launch briefs, and NPI happen on cadence and at a consistent bar.
The portfolio is staffed. Every initiative in flight has an explicit staffing decision and plan behind it.
The numbers move. Activation, attach, activity, and expansion targets for each pillar respond to the organization’s inputs.
The team is stronger than you found it. Product managers have more leverage, complementary strengths are valued over a uniform mold, and every hire raises the bar.
About You:
You are direct, decisive, and high-agency. You identify a problem, propose a fix, and act unless someone tells you not to.
You are a relentless simplifier, not a caretaker. When you find friction, your instinct is to remove process rather than add it. You know how to run a company of this size like a small company that ships.
You are a builder of people and move quickly on people problems. Product leaders who have worked for you say you made them better and would work for you again. You raise the bar clearly, promote based on evidence, and do not allow known performance problems to persist.
You are comfortable challenging a strategy and turning it into a sequenced portfolio. You can tell the story of an idea you pushed back on, how you used evidence to make the call, and how you maintained the relationship.
You write clearly and make decisions. You use written argument to create alignment, expect strong writing from your team, and end meetings with a decision.
You are customer-oriented and commercially grounded. You can move from a conversation with a developer or data scientist to a discussion with an executive buyer or sales leader without losing the thread.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 15+ years of experience in Product Management, including 7+ years leading Product Managers and product leaders across a multi-product B2B platform
.
Experience leading Product Management at the VP, SVP, or equivalent level across a multi-product B2B platform.
Experience leading a product management organization of 20 or more product managers at a company with approximately $100M to $500M in revenue.
A track record of building and developing a product organization, rather than simply inheriting one.
Demonstrated ability to turn company strategy into a reliable operating system that delivers roadmap commitments and measurable business outcomes.
Experience working with a founder or visionary executive and converting a high volume of ideas into a sequenced, resourced portfolio.
Experience building products for engineering organizations and selling to CTOs, platform leaders, and data science teams.
Strong commercial fluency, including experience owning or materially influencing pricing, packaging, attach, expansion, and go-to-market execution.
Experience balancing enterprise and self-serve motions, including an understanding of what drives a large enterprise expansion and what creates value for a developer on a free plan.
Practical experience using AI agents in your own work and applying AI-native approaches to product management or software development. You should have clear opinions about how AI changes product management, supported by things you have shipped.
Demonstrated ability to lead through ambiguity, make decisions with incomplete information, and improve delivery speed without compromising product quality.

NICE TO HAVES:
- Familiarity with hybrid audience targeting

Why Sony Interactive Entertainment?
Sony Interactive Entertainment isn’t just the Best Place to Play — it’s also the Best Place to Work. Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) is the company behind the PlayStation brand. As a subsidiary of Sony Group Corporation, we’re part of a proud legacy of innovation and excellence. SIE is a dynamic technology company, delivering cutting-edge hardware and network services to more than 100 million people and an entertainment leader, home to some of the most beloved and recognizable intellectual properties (IP) in the world. Our role at SIE is to create and nurture the experiences under the PlayStation brand, a name synonymous with entertainment excellence and creativity.
JOB PURPOSE:
The Technical Program Governance team enables complex technical initiatives across PlayStation engineering organizations by creating clarity, alignment, and disciplined execution across organizational boundaries.
As a Staff Technical Change Manager, you will lead the people, adoption, and organizational dimensions of complex technical change across engineering and technology organizations. You will work alongside technical leaders, architects, program managers, and delivery teams to understand what is changing, who is affected, what will be required of them, and how to move from awareness to sustained adoption.
This is a technical change role. Success requires more than familiarity with software-development terminology or experience working near engineering teams. You must be able to understand systems, platforms, architecture, integrations, engineering delivery models, and technical dependencies well enough to identify meaningful change impacts, ask informed questions, and translate technical decisions into practical organizational action.
This role offers the opportunity to build and shape change capability from the ground up. You’ll help define how change is led, scaled, and embedded across a growing technical organization, creating practical approaches that can evolve with the business rather than inheriting a fixed playbook.
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:
Essential
Demonstrated experience leading complex, cross-functional organizational change within technology, engineering, digital, or technical environments.
Strong technical fluency across modern software and technology environments. Able to understand systems, platforms, architecture, integrations, engineering workflows, and technical dependencies well enough to assess organizational impact and engage credibly with technical leaders.\
Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts and decisions into clear stakeholder impacts, adoption needs, communications, enablement plans, and practical actions.
Deep practical knowledge of organizational change methods and tools, combined with the judgment to adapt, combine, simplify, or move beyond a methodology when the situation requires it.
Experience developing end-to-end change strategies, including stakeholder analysis, impact assessment, readiness, communications, engagement, learning or enablement, adoption measurement, and reinforcement.
Strong independent judgment and problem-solving skills, with a record of operating effectively in ambiguous environments where the change strategy, operating model, or path forward is still being created.
Ability to influence senior technical and business leaders, facilitate difficult conversations, build alignment across competing priorities, and move decisions forward without direct authority.
Experience using qualitative and quantitative signals to assess adoption, identify resistance or friction, test assumptions, and adjust strategy based on evidence rather than process compliance.
Demonstrated ability to create reusable frameworks, playbooks, tools, and guidance and to coach others so change capability scales beyond the individual.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to produce concise executive narratives while retaining enough technical substance for engineering audiences.
Desirable
Consulting or transformation advisory experience, particularly in environments requiring rapid context building, executive influence, and practical recommendations across multiple clients, organizations, or business units.
Experience building or materially evolving a change capability in an organization where practices, roles, standards, and expectations were not already mature or consistently established.\
Experience supporting platform, infrastructure, cloud, architecture, developer tooling, enterprise systems, or other technically complex transformation work.
Experience working directly with engineers, architects, technical program managers, product leaders, and senior technology executives.
Background in the games, interactive entertainment, or large-scale technology industry.
Formal change-management certification.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & SCOPE FOR DECISION MAKING:
Technical Change Strategy and Delivery
Lead change strategy and execution for complex technical initiatives spanning multiple teams, organizations, technologies, or geographies.
Build a clear understanding of the technical change itself, including affected systems, dependencies, operating models, workflows, roles, and decision points, before determining the appropriate change approach.
Translate technical implementation plans into stakeholder impacts, readiness needs, adoption risks, engagement strategies, and measurable change outcomes.
Embed organizational readiness into the design and delivery of major initiatives, helping ensure change is considered from the beginning and translated into sustained adoption, stronger execution, and measurable business impact.
Identify adoption barriers early, frame the underlying problem, and drive practical interventions that address behavior, capability, process, structure, or incentives as appropriate.
Define meaningful measures of readiness, adoption, and sustained use, and adjust strategy when evidence shows the current approach is not working.
Technical Partnership and Organizational Judgment
Partner closely with engineers, architects, technical program managers, product leaders, and subject-matter experts to understand technical decisions and their organizational consequences.
Ask informed technical questions, challenge assumptions constructively, and surface dependencies or downstream impacts that may otherwise be missed in change planning.
Operate as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, bringing clear recommendations, rationale, risks, tradeoffs, and expected outcomes rather than relying on escalation or waiting for direction.
Demonstrate strong judgment about where and how change leadership can add value. Read the room, adapt to the audience and organizational context, and apply the right level of structure to accelerate outcomes without introducing unnecessary process.
Use organizational context, stakeholder insight, and data to determine where leadership attention is required and where teams can move independently.
Connect technical transformation to business and organizational outcomes so leaders understand not only what is changing, but why it matters and what successful adoption looks like.
Capability Building and Scale
Help build a practical, scalable technical change-management capability, including reusable frameworks, playbooks, templates, decision guides, and operating practices.
Create lightweight approaches that can be used by program and technical leaders directly, reserving specialist change support for the work where it creates the most value.
Coach leaders, TPMs, and cross-functional partners on stakeholder engagement, readiness, adoption planning, resistance, and reinforcement so change knowledge spreads through the organization.
Use strong facilitation and organizational judgment to bring the right people together, navigate competing perspectives, and turn complex conversations into clear decisions, alignment, and action.
Capture lessons learned and patterns across initiatives and use them to improve future change strategies, tools, and organizational practices.
Leave teams more capable than you found them by building knowledge, confidence, and repeatable practices that continue beyond an individual initiative.
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
· Sustained adoption and organizational readiness for complex technical changes, demonstrated through measurable use, behavior change, or operating outcomes.
· Quality and timeliness of change-impact identification, stakeholder strategy, risk management, and interventions across multiple initiatives.
· Demonstrated technical credibility and effectiveness partnering with engineering, architecture, program, and senior leadership audiences.
· Evidence that change approaches are adapted based on context, feedback, and data rather than applied mechanically.
· Measurable growth in organizational change capability through reusable tools, coaching, knowledge sharing, and increased self-sufficiency of partner teams.
· Senior stakeholder confidence in the clarity, practicality, and strategic value of change recommendations and execution.
The individual will be measured on:
Successful adoption and sustained impact of complex technical and organizational changes, with clear evidence that intended outcomes are understood, adopted, and embedded.
Ability to identify where change leadership will have the greatest impact, applying sound judgment and the appropriate level of structure based on the audience, environment, risk, and desired outcome.
Quality of strategic partnership with technical and business leaders, including the ability to build trust, navigate organizational dynamics, challenge constructively, and influence decisions.
Effectiveness in translating complex technical change into meaningful organizational action, connecting technical direction with what teams need to understand, do differently, and sustain.
Measurable improvements in organizational readiness and adoption, using meaningful indicators and feedback to identify barriers, adjust strategy, and improve outcomes.
Growth of scalable change capability across the organization, including practices, approaches, and knowledge that enable leaders and teams to manage change more effectively without continued direct support.
Ability to strengthen and evolve the organization’s approach to change, identifying opportunities to improve how change is led and building practical capabilities that can scale as the organization matures.
Effectiveness operating independently in complex and ambiguous environments, bringing recommendations, exercising strong judgment, and driving work forward without requiring a predefined playbook.
At SIE, we consider several factors when setting each role’s base pay range, including the competitive benchmarking data for the market and geographic location.
Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
In addition, this role
is eligible
for SIE’s top-tier benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, matching 401(k), paid time off, wellness program and coveted employee discounts for Sony products.

About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role
As a Communications Manager at Anthropic, you will bring The Anthropic Institute's research to the world. The Institute works to advance the public conversation around AI, publishing findings so that policymakers, researchers, journalists, and the public can reckon with what's here and prepare for what's ahead.
You will provide dedicated communications coverage for the Institute's two largest and fastest growing research engines: 1) Economic Research, which tracks AI's effect on jobs, wages, and the broader economy through the Anthropic Economic Index and labor market analysis, and 2) Societal Impacts, which studies how Claude is actually used, from workplace impacts and personal guidance to Claude's values and frontier agent use. You’ll also support TAI’s other teams, including Special Projects and the Frontier Red Team.
In this role, you'll drive research tracking, publication strategy, and reactive press across both portfolios, including launches like quarterly Economic Index releases and the rollout of the new Economic Research Fund. You'll partner closely with the Economic Research and Societal Impacts research teams day to day, work alongside the Deputy Communications Lead, and coordinate with Anthropic's broader communications, policy, and editorial teams to keep messaging aligned while maintaining the Institute's distinct voice.
Responsibilities
Drive day-to-day communications for the Economic Research and Societal Impacts teams, including research tracking, publication planning, and reactive press
Lead communications planning and launch execution for the Anthropic Economic Index, recurring labor market analyses, and new research initiatives like the Economic Research Fund
Develop narratives that translate technical and quantitative research for audiences well beyond specialist communities
Build and maintain relationships with reporters across economics, labor, technology, research, and general interest outlets, along with academic economists and think tank researchers
Draft communications plans, briefing documents, talking points, press materials, and social content
Manage reactive press on sensitive findings in partnership with the Communications Lead, Deputy Communications Lead, and policy team
Partner with policy and editorial teams on publishing strategy, ensuring research reaches the largest appropriate audience through the Anthropic blog, the Institute's site, microsites, interactive experiences, video, and audio
Present researchers for media interviews, podcast appearances, and speaking engagements, and prepare them to succeed in those moments
Partner with Institute communications leadership on major announcements and milestone engagements
Build repeatable rollout playbooks and processes that allow a lean team to cover a growing research portfolio
Track both teams' research agendas to shape findings early and plan publications months in advance
You may be a good fit if you
Have deep communications experience, with significant depth in research, science, economics, or policy communications
Have a track record of translating complex, technical, or academic research into public narratives that reach audiences well beyond specialist communities
Are comfortable reading and interrogating quantitative research, and can engage substantively and credibly with the researchers who produce it
Have strong, active media relationships
Can move between long-lead strategic messaging and fast-turnaround tactical execution without losing quality, from planning a launch months out to handling an inbound press inquiry the same day
Have led multi-channel rollouts spanning strategy, digital, press, and cross-functional approvals
Are intellectually curious about AI's impact on the economy, society, and the future of work, and can embrace the unexpected in a field where the unusual is the norm
Thrive in fast-moving environments where priorities shift and ambiguity is common
Are excited about Anthropic's mission to develop AI that is safe and beneficial
Strong candidates may also have
Experience at a research institution, think tank, economics publication, or policy organization communicating quantitative findings
Familiarity with the AI policy landscape and the debates around AI's labor market and societal impacts
Experience standing up communications processes or playbooks on a small, growing team
A background working directly with economists, social scientists, or academic researchers on publication strategy
Experience managing sensitive or high-scrutiny press moments, including deciding what to say, when, and how
Enthusiasm for using AI tools in your own workflows to multiply what a small team can do

How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

WHO WE ARE
Help Scout started in 2011 with a simple premise: support software should treat customers like people, not tickets. 3+ billion conversations later, more than 10,000 companies use Help Scout to grow relationships with customers of all types, from clients to patients and beyond.
Now we’re in a new chapter: not only building AI that gives teams more space to focus on the customer experience, but also reimagining how we operate in an AI-native world. That means shipping and learning faster, without compromising on craft. Great work here carries a strong opinion and sweats the details, regardless of the tools we use to drive it.
We’ve been a fully remote team https://articles.helpscout.com/blog/remote-culture/ since day one, with 120+ teammates now all over the world. It’s a culture where you’ll be trusted to take ownership, stay curious, and raise the quality of work around you. It comes with clear expectations and a team that will push you to do some of the best work of your career.
If that kind of challenge gives you energy, we’d love to meet you.
THE OPPORTUNITY
Help Scout is building a sales-led outbound motion to win more mid-market customers. Most of our pipeline comes from inbound today & we are changing that mix. This role is the engine for it.
We're hiring our first Business Development Representative to join our sales team. In this role, you’ll open conversations with the companies that fit us best and drive pipeline for our Account Executives. You'll also help shape the outbound playbook: which accounts, which messages, and which channels work. As our first BDR, we’re not looking for someone to run an established playbook… we're looking for someone who is eager to help shape one.
Does that sound like you? If so, here’s more about the role:
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Research and personalize. Use an AI tech stack to find the right prospects, from Support/Success leaders to Operations management and company executives. You'll maximize engagement by tailoring outreach using our messaging frameworks and templates, and will check AI-generated drafts before sending.
- Work defined target account lists. Prospect into a defined list of ideal-fit mid-market companies based on our ICP criteria & strategic campaigns, and flag accounts that are not the right fit.
- Execute multi-channel outreach. Manage outreach across several channels, including email, phone, LinkedIn, and video.
- Test and iterate. Run messaging, personas, and channels tests, track what converts at the highest rates, and recommend changes to drive continuous improvement.
- Report on results. Maintain updated reports and dashboards that illustrate your success rates across campaigns and performance towards your targets. Regularly review results and thoughtful recommendations for improvement with your manager.
- Hand off cleanly. Partner closely with Account Executives to brief them on sourced meetings with well documented details about the contacts, accounts and messaging that led to the booking. Use AE feedback to regularly improve your hand-offs.
ABOUT YOU
- You have 1 to 2+ years as an outbound BDR or SDR at a B2B SaaS company, with a track record of meeting pipeline or opportunity targets.
- You've prospected into companies with 250+ employees and know how to tailor messaging based on industry, job title and additional criteria.
- You’re a great communicator, both with prospects and internal colleagues.
- You actively use AI tools in your workflow for research, list building, or writing, and can recommend what works (experience with HubSpot & GTM platforms like Apollo, ZoomInfo, Sales Navigator or similar solutions a plus).
- You can thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- You're coachable and want to grow into a closing role.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
We use a competency-based approach to pay, and pay is the same no matter where in the U.S. you live.
Base salary: $71,000 - $77,000
On-target earnings (OTE): $102,000 - $111,000

CRAFT OVER CONVENTION

PROGRESS NOT PERFECTION
Achieving our true potential — collectively and individually — requires constant progress and forward momentum. By creating a culture of curiosity and openness, we aim to create a safe space for mistakes, the ability to identify them quickly, and use them to get better.
OWN THE OUTCOME
Own the outcome means taking full responsibility for the results of your work, decisions, and contributions. It reflects a mindset of accountability, proactiveness, and follow-through. If you “own the outcome,” you don’t just complete tasks, you ensure your work leads to meaningful results, and take initiative to solve problems rather than passing them along.

An overview of this role
As a SLED Solutions Architect, you'll be a trusted technical advisor to State, Local, and Education customers in every state east of the Mississippi River: state agencies, counties, cities, special districts, community colleges, and public, private, and research universities. These organizations deliver services residents and students rely on every day, often with lean IT teams, aging systems, fixed fiscal-year budgets, and growing cybersecurity threats.
You'll show them how GitLab's DevSecOps platform and AI capabilities, including the GitLab Duo Agent Platform, help them modernize legacy applications, protect sensitive resident and student data, meet state and sector compliance requirements, and do more with the staff they have. You'll own the technical evaluation and validation stages of the sales cycle, guide customers through proofs of concept and value, and translate platform capabilities into outcomes that agency leaders, CIOs, CISOs, and procurement officers can defend in a budget request or an RFP evaluation.
You'll partner closely with SLED account executives, channel partners, and systems integrators, provide technical guidance from first conversation through successful deployment, and bring the voice of the SLED customer back into Product, Sales, and Marketing.
Location and travel:
The territory covers all states east of the Mississippi River. The candidate must reside in the Northeast part of the United States. This role requires up to 50% travel.
What you'll do
Engage SLED customers onsite and remotely, from state capitals to university campuses, with tailored demos, technical presentations, and hands-on workshops that tie GitLab to their mission.
Partner with SLED account executives to shape account strategies that align with each customer's fiscal year budget cycle, legislative appropriations, IT modernization plans, and grant or federal pass through funding.
Own the technical evaluation process, including proof of concept (POC) and proof of value (POV) design and delivery, and provide technical responses for RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, and security questionnaires.
Support purchases made through cooperative purchasing agreements and statewide contract vehicles by working with channel and reseller partners.
Guide customers through state and sector security requirements, such as GovRAMP and NIST frameworks, and show how GitLab's built in security, auditability, and deployment options reduce compliance burden.

Lead the creation of Customer Success Plans that capture technical success criteria and handoff details, ensuring a smooth path to deployment and adoption, often for IT teams with limited capacity.
Work alongside Account Executives to build data driven business cases that quantify delivery bottlenecks, giving customers a defensible basis for budget requests and clear evidence of return on taxpayer investment.
Build relationships with CIOs, CISOs, agency directors, enterprise architects, faculty, research computing leaders, and procurement officers so they become advocates for GitLab, including across agencies and campuses that share services.
Collaborate with systems integrators and state IT shared-services organizations to scale GitLab adoption across multiple agencies, local governments, or campuses.
Serve as the SLED customer advocate internally, channeling feedback on procurement, compliance, and deployment needs to Product, Sales, and Marketing.
Stay current on GitLab and related technologies, and create reusable SLED demos, reference architectures, and assets for customers and partners.
What you'll bring
Background in technical pre-sales, consulting, or IT roles serving state agencies, local governments, or public, private, and research universities, where you guided customers through evaluations and solution design.
Working knowledge of how SLED organizations buy technology: RFP and RFI cycles, cooperative purchasing agreements, statewide contracts, fiscal-year budgeting, and the role of resellers and systems integrators.

Ability to connect technical solutions to mission outcomes, such as resident service delivery, cyber resilience, cost avoidance, and workforce efficiency, and to advise senior stakeholders on tradeoffs and options.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills, including presenting to both technical teams and non-technical leaders such as agency heads, procurement officers, and university administrators.
Openness to learning, seeking feedback, and building new skills, including familiarity with GitLab's Solutions Architect handbook and related resources.
Nice to have
Prior experience working in or for state or local government IT, or a university IT or research computing organization.
Experience with legacy or mainframe modernization programs.
Familiarity with AI governance practices in the public sector, such as AI use-case inventories, acceptable-use policies, and risk assessments.
About the team
The SLED Solutions Architect role is part of GitLab's Public Sector Solutions Architect team, a group of trusted technical advisors who help government and education customers understand, evaluate, and adopt the GitLab DevSecOps platform. The team is distributed and collaborates asynchronously across time zones using GitLab and our handbook-first practices to share knowledge, reusable examples, and best practices.
On the SLED team, you'll help customers solve challenges unique to state, local, and education organizations: protecting resident and student data, modernizing mission-critical legacy systems, buying through public procurement processes, and stretching limited IT staff and budgets. ABOUT DOCKER
Docker has been one of the most loved brands in developer tooling, trusted by more than 20 million monthly users and over 20 billion container image pulls. From solo founders to the world's largest companies, developers rely on Docker to build, share, and run their applications across our suite of products including Docker Desktop, Docker Hub, and Docker Scout.
We are a globally distributed, remote-first team building the tools that define how software gets built and delivered. As AI agents redefine software development, Docker is at the center of that shift, providing the sandboxed environments, verified images, and secure infrastructure that make autonomous workflows trustworthy by default.
_______________________________________________________________________
Docker Forward Deployed Engineers (FDE) embed directly with our most strategic customers to solve important, complex technical problems and turn ambitious ideas into production outcomes. FDEs take on the most challenging technical challenges using existing Docker products and patterns when possible, and work across customer, Docker Product and Engineering teams to realize new approaches when required.
As a Docker FDE, you will work side-by-side with customer engineering teams to deeply understand their goals, problems, constraints, and technical landscape; identify the highest-leverage opportunities; and design, build, and ship solutions with them. You own the technical journey from discovery and architecture through prototyping, implementation and production rollout.
The solutions you build may use existing Docker products, extend Docker into new environments, integrate deeply with customer and third-party systems, or reveal capabilities that Docker should build next. You work closely with Docker Solutions Architects to evolve existing patterns, and Docker Product and Engineering to turn new learnings into reusable patterns and product capabilities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Build in Production with Customers
- Embed with customer engineering teams to design, build, and ship solutions from first prototype through stable production rollout. Use existing Docker products and patterns when possible, invent, prototype and validate innovative solutions when necessary.
- Deliver working technical artifacts to customers: custom MCP servers with tightly integrated Docker Sandbox environments for coding agents and containerized agents; Docker Compose definitions for multi-agent harnesses and model-backed applications; Hardened Image standardization and migration; New tools that unblock customer progress.
- Integrate Docker's AI platform with the customer's existing stack, including identity providers (OIDC/SAML/SSO), secrets management, private and air-gapped registries, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and observability tooling.
- Own technical delivery on your engagements: scope the work, sequence it, make trade-offs between speed and quality, remove blockers early, and contribute directly to code whenever progress depends on it.
Make AI Adoption Safe and Governable
- Translate customer security, compliance, and platform requirements into concrete plans and see those plans through from ideation to production.
- Help customers define controls to enable them to adopt agentic AI to solve their unique business problems without compromising security, compliance, data sovereignty or end-user experience.
- Establish quality and performance standards for customers and work closely with Docker Product and Engineering to quickly address issues that fall outside of established thresholds
- Partner with customer security and platform teams to get agentic workloads through architecture review, threat modeling, and change control.
Partner with Solutions Architecture and the Field
- Work closely with Solutions Architects to enable off-the-self solutions when possible and provide technical experience and leadership when a bespoke solution is necessary.
- Feed implementation learnings back into reference architectures, SOW templates, and success patterns so that FDE innovations become standard features and implementation patterns.
- Support the field with technical depth during proofs of concept, escalations, and expansion conversations when a working build is the fastest path to a customer adoption.
Close the Loop with Product and Engineering
- As part of Docker Engineering FDEs work closely with Product and Engineering teams to fold FDE innovations, learnings, and design patterns into existing or new products and services.
- Work with Customers, Product and Engineering to establish quality and performance thresholds, ensuring customer environments meet them consistently, and responding quickly and decisively when they don’t.
- Be the voice of the customer. Deliver data-driven and actionable feedback to Product and Engineering: what works well; what does not; what customers are asking for; and what blocks their adoption and forward progress. FDE experience directly influences the roadmap.
Shape the Practice
- Define the FDE engagement model, delivery standards, and quality bar, and codify them so that engagements are consistent across customers, regions, and delivery partners.
- Mentor and lead other Forward Deployed Engineers, and participate in hiring loops to grow the team.
- Act as the senior technical escalation point on the hardest problems impacting your customers. Every incident is an opportunity to improve Docker products and services.
- Maintain deep, current knowledge of the agentic AI stack: LLMs, APIs, MCP, coding agents, model and harness evaluation approaches, performance and quality thresholds, deployment patterns.
- This role may require participation in an on-call rotation to provide support outside of standard business hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
- 10+ years of software engineering experience, including 4+ years in a customer-facing technical role such as Forward Deployed Engineer, Solutions Engineer, Professional Services Engineer, or Software Engineer with consulting or technical founder experience.
- Technical leadership across multiple engagements, teams, or domains, with a proven ability to set delivery standards, define repeatable patterns, and influence product direction through field evidence.
- Expert production coding skills in Go, Python, or TypeScript, with a track record of shipping and operating software that other people depend on and of leading technical design reviews.
- Deep, hands-on Docker expertise: Dockerfiles and multi-stage builds, Docker Compose, image and registry operations, container networking and storage, and container security fundamentals.
- Hands-on experience building with LLMs and agents in production, including tool use and function calling, the Model Context Protocol (MCP server and client implementation), prompt and context engineering, and evaluation of agent behavior.
- Working knowledge of software supply chain security: SBOMs, image signing and attestation, vulnerability management, minimal and hardened base images, and secure CI/CD.
- Experience integrating with enterprise systems: identity providers (Okta, Entra ID, LDAP/Active Directory), federated identity protocols (OIDC, SAML), secrets managers, Kubernetes, and at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Ability to scope and deliver complex work in ambiguous, fast-moving customer environments, making sound trade-offs between scope, speed, and quality.
- Excellent communication skills with engineers, security and platform teams, and executive stakeholders, with a low-ego, collaborative approach and the ability to lead through influence rather than authority.
- Proven track record of technical mentorship and of raising the bar for the engineers around you.
- High agency and comfort operating autonomously in distributed, remote-first teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Travel to customer sites to build in person with customer teams, estimated at up to 50%.
Bonus
- Experience with Docker Hardened Images, Docker Scout, MCP Gateway, MCP Toolkit, Docker Sandboxes, or Docker Model Runner.
- Experience deploying and operating coding agents (Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI, Cursor, or similar) in team or enterprise settings.
- Experience with air-gapped, regulated, or compliance-driven environments in financial services, healthcare, government, or similar sectors.
- Contributions to open source projects in the container, Kubernetes, or MCP ecosystems.
- Prior experience founding or scaling a Forward Deployed Engineering or Professional Services practice.
Docker considers visa sponsorship on a case-by-case basis based on business needs.
Compensation & Equity
United States: $198K – $319K + equity

Workplace: Hybrid
At Render, we’re building the modern cloud platform for developers creating AI-native, full-stack, multi-service applications. Our mission is to eliminate the tradeoff between the power of hyperscalers and the simplicity of developer-friendly platforms—so teams can ship fast, scale reliably, and focus on their product, not infrastructure.
Unlike complex hyperscalers or ephemeral edge/serverless solutions, Render offers a developer-first experience with persistent compute, dynamic autoscaling, built-in orchestration, and observability, allowing teams to launch, scale, and manage real-world applications without writing infrastructure code or managing servers. Whether you're building LLM-powered applications, scalable SaaS products, or async processing pipelines, Render empowers teams to move fast and scale confidently from MVP to millions of users.
Our platform is trusted by over 7 million developers worldwide and continues to grow rapidly. In February 2026, we raised an additional $100M in Series C financing, bringing our total funding to $260M, to accelerate our vision of making cloud infrastructure both powerful and intuitive—designed for the speed of modern AI development.
We’re a diverse and talented team that values craft, velocity, and user experience. If you’re excited to help shape the future of the intelligent cloud and empower developers everywhere, we’d love to hear from you.
APPLYING TO RENDER
We're seeking candidates who possess high integrity, humility, and an insatiable drive to learn. Through reasoned discussions and continuous feedback, we strive to improve both individually and collectively. We foster an environment of mutual trust and respect, empowering effective debate to achieve the best outcomes for our customers and team.
We especially encourage members of underrepresented groups in the tech community to apply and understand that not all successful candidates will meet each requirement listed.
Our interview process is unique to each role, and we value the candidate experience just as much as our customer experience. We hope your conversations with us reflect a thoughtful process that is illuminative, enjoyable, and respectful of your time.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for an Executive Business Partner to support our CEO, VP of Finance, and VP of People. You’ll be a force multiplier across the executive team: managing complex calendars, driving critical follow-through, and, above all, representing these leaders’ voices in writing and in person with precision and polish. Because you’ll routinely draft, edit, and speak on behalf of executives across the company, this role calls for a very high bar for written and verbal communication: clear, correct, well-organized, and appropriately toned for the audience, every time.
This role is a great fit for someone who embodies Render’s Operating Principles https://render.com/careers, particularly Own impact and outcomes (you anticipate needs before being asked), Raise the quality bar (you take real pride in the quality of every email, deck, and invite that carries a leader’s name), Reason clearly; execute quickly (you triage and act fast, even with incomplete information), and Build together (you build trust quickly with a wide range of stakeholders across the company).
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Own and proactively manage complex, fast-changing calendars across three executives, resolving conflicts and prioritizing time against what matters most
- Approach AI as a core productivity partner and proactively use AI to automate scheduling and streamline communications, research, and other daily workflows rather than defaulting to manual processes out of habit or hesitation
- Draft, edit, and proofread executive communications including calendar invites, Slack messages, memos, and decks to a consistently high bar for clarity, correctness, and tone, since these often represent the leader’s voice directly
- Prepare polished briefing materials ahead of meetings, including attendee bios, context, and clear agendas
- Take notes in meetings and offsites; synthesize discussions into clear, well-organized action items and drive follow-through to completion
- Coordinate domestic and international travel logistics end-to-end
- Plan and help run internal events, staff meetings, and offsites, from logistics through agenda-setting
- Track deadlines and deliverables across email, Slack, and other tools; proactively flag when priorities are slipping
- Handle sensitive financial and people-related information with a high degree of discretion and judgment
- Manage ad hoc research, vendor coordination, expenses, and other operational needs across the three executives
- Serve as a trusted, high-context communication conduit between the executives and the rest of the company
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- AI-forward mindset: excited by AI tools, and consistently looking for ways to use them to increase velocity, output, and strategic value.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills: you write clearly and correctly under time pressure, and can adapt tone and formality for different audiences (this is a hard requirement)
- Proven experience as an Executive Business Partner supporting senior leaders, ideally supporting multiple executives simultaneously at a fast-growing company
- Demonstrated discretion and sound judgment handling confidential financial and people-related information
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize competing, high-stakes demands without dropping details
- Comfort operating with ambiguity and moving quickly; you reason clearly about what matters most and execute without waiting for perfect information
- A strong ownership mindset: you anticipate needs, follow through without reminders, and hold yourself accountable for outcomes, not just tasks completed
- Ability to build trust and rapport quickly across a wide range of personalities and seniority levels
NICE-TO-HAVES
- Direct experience supporting a CEO, CFO/Head of Finance, or Head of People
- Experience planning company offsites or events at scale
- Familiarity with standard EA tooling (Google Workspace, Slack, expense platforms, travel booking tools)
- Prior experience operating in both early-stage and more scaled organizations
If this role excites you but you don’t meet every single requirement, we’d still love to hear from you—your unique experience might be just what we need.
BENEFITS
- 4 weeks of paid vacation.
- 14 weeks of fully paid parental leave for all parents to bond with a newly born, adopted, or fostered child. We will also work with you to create a supportive plan of return.
- Long-term disability, life insurance, and 401K plans.
- 100% employer-paid medical coverage and 99% employer-paid dental and vision coverage for you and a dependent. FSAs and HSAs are available as well.
- Monthly lifestyle stipend for wellness, mental health and therapy, hobbies, etc.
- Monthly cell phone and internet subsidy.
- Commuter benefits for Renders in the Bay Area, and home office stipends for remote Renders.
- Continuous learning benefits & related support.
This position is generally not eligible for new visa sponsorship. At Render's discretion, the business may sponsor existing visa transfers. Applicants who require sponsorship must receive business authorization.
Render is an equal-opportunity employer. We know that employing a team rich in diverse thoughts, experiences, and opinions allows our employees, product, and community to flourish. We make all employment decisions including hiring, evaluation, termination, promotional, and training opportunities, without regard to race, religion, color, sex, age, national origin, ancestry, sexual orientation, physical handicap, mental disability, medical condition, disability, gender or identity or expression, pregnancy or pregnancy-related condition, marital status, height and/or weight.
We will ensure that individuals with disabilities are provided reasonable accommodation to participate in the job application or interview process, to perform essential job functions, and to receive other benefits and privileges of employment. Please contact us to request accommodation.

But what really sets OnePay apart is how we move. Our customers don’t have time to wait… and neither do we. This place moves fast, and we’re looking for people who are:
- Ready to run
- Hungry and driven by urgency
- Exceptional at what they do, with low ego
- Comfortable operating in motion
THE ROLE
Our growth stack has a lot of moving parts. The app and the website send events through a customer data platform to the ad platforms, our mobile measurement partners and the data warehouse. Most launches touch several of those systems and a few different teams.
You'll own the growth roadmap and work day to day with the MarTech and growth engineers who build and maintain all of this. Your job is to keep launches moving, make sure they get properly tested, and make sure the numbers on the other side can be trusted.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Own the growth roadmap. Turn requests from marketing, paid media and product into scoped tickets with clear owners and dates. Keep the roadmap, runbooks and data flow docs current, and automate the repetitive parts with scripts or AI tools.
- Lead testing and QA with the MarTech and growth engineers. Write test plans, check changes in staging and on test devices before they ship, and confirm they worked after launch.
- Keep data flowing into paid media. Manage customer data platform destinations, audience syncs, reverse ETL and server-side events. Watch for dropped events, low match rates and schema drift, and write or tweak simple scripts when a setting isn't enough.
- Own our relationship with the mobile measurement partners. Debug attribution problems, keep SDK and ad network integrations healthy, and handle support escalations, renewals and roadmap requests.
- Keep tracking specs consistent across the app, the website, the customer data platform and web analytics, and dig in when numbers from different sources don't match.
- Run SDK upgrades, attribution migrations and new vendor onboarding from evaluation through cutover, with a rollback plan.
- Support paid and acquisition work across search, social, app-install networks, app store search ads and affiliates, including click ID plumbing, exclusion lists and test setup.
- Bring Privacy and Legal in early, so consent, data-sharing limits and data subject requests are part of the plan and not a surprise at launch.
YOU BRING
- 8+ years in technical program management, supporting growth, performance marketing, martech or data teams.
- Hands-on time with a customer data platform. You've connected it to several ad platforms, mapped and filtered events, and synced audiences with consent rules applied. You can read a tracking plan or a destination config and spot where a launch will break.
- Experience with a mobile measurement partner and a good grasp of attribution: click IDs, ATT and SKAdNetwork, view-through versus click-through, and platform-reported versus first-party conversions. You've debugged discrepancies and dealt with the vendor directly.
- Experience doing testing and QA with engineers on tracking or integration launches: test plans, staging checks, debug tools, test devices, and regression checks after SDK or release changes.
- You write SQL and pull your own numbers.
- A track record of running programs across engineering, design, data and marketing, with clear specs, honest status updates and a written record of decisions.
- Good judgment on priorities, and comfort saying no. You're fine with ambiguity and with working asynchronously on a remote-first team.
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience at a consumer fintech or another regulated company.
- Reverse ETL into paid media (conversion APIs, offline conversions, audience uploads) and keeping it healthy: match rates, deduplication, delays and dropped events.
- Reading and writing simple scripts in JavaScript or Liquid, for example to transform an event payload or build a template.
- Experience with a cloud data warehouse.
- A working understanding of marketing privacy rules: consent, CCPA and similar state laws, GLBA, and limits on sharing customer data with ad platforms. You know when to ask Legal.
WHAT WE OFFER
- Competitive base salary, stock options, and health benefits from Day 1
- 401(k) plan with company match
- Remote-friendly (US), flexible time off (FTO), and opportunities for growth
- A high-growth, mission-driven, inclusive culture where your work has real impact

Synthesia is the world’s leading AI video platform for business, used by over 90% of the Fortune 100. Founded in 2017, the company is headquartered in London, with offices and teams across Europe and the US.
As AI continues to shape the way we live and work, Synthesia develops products to enhance visual communication and enterprise skill development, helping people work better and stay at the center of successful organizations.
Following our recent Series E funding round, where we raised $200 million, our valuation stands at $4 billion. Our total funding exceeds $530 million from premier investors including Accel, NVentures (Nvidia's VC arm), Kleiner Perkins, GV, and Evantic Capital, alongside the founders and operators of Stripe, Datadog, Miro, and Webflow.
THE ROLE:
We're looking for a Staff (L6) Product Designer to lead design for some of Synthesia's AI-native, agentic Sessions product surfaces.
Sessions are the experiences where employees learn through conversation, companies lrun a survey at scale, and AI becomes a direct participant in how work gets done - not just a tool behind the scenes.
This area is central to redefining what a video platform can be: moving upstream from content creation into workforce development, and making complex AI capabilities feel natural, trustworthy, and effective for everyday users.
You'll operate as a senior IC: setting direction, influencing roadmap decisions, shaping bets with Product and Engineering leaders, and raising the craft bar.
In practice, this role is about solving AI-native design problems, for example:
- Designing real-time, conversational avatar experiences that feel engaging and natural - not robotic or gimmicky - for employees learning and practising skills at work.
- Creating interaction patterns for AI-driven workflows that give users the right amount of control, transparency, and trust without overwhelming them with complexity.
- Improving output quality through better structure, guidance, and feedback loops - helping users understand what the AI is doing, catch issues early, and iterate with confidence.
- Working at the frontier where AI changes what "interaction" means, and the best patterns are genuinely still being invented.
IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:
- Own major AI-native bets end-to-end, from problem framing to shipped outcomes and iteration.
- Set a design vision for our "Sessions" surface, and influence adjacent product areas to stay coherent.
- Partner closely with Product and Engineering to define what "great" looks like (principles, quality bar, success metrics) and then drive toward it.
- Prototype and test interaction models quickly - including novel agentic and conversational patterns - and know when high-fidelity matters.
- Raise the bar on craft: interaction design, UI quality, systems thinking, and consistency across AI-native experiences.
YOU SHOULD APPLY IF YOU BRING:
- Significant experience designing complex, high-usage product surfaces - ideally including AI-native products, agentic features, conversational interfaces, or products where the system takes meaningful autonomous action.
- Strong craft in interaction design and visual design, and a track record of shipping work that measurably improves the product experience.
- Comfort operating in ambiguity: you can turn unclear and fast-moving problem spaces into crisp direction, and you do not wait for perfect clarity.
- Systems thinking: you understand how AI capabilities, model constraints, and product architecture shape what's actually possible in the UX - not just what looks good on a screen.
- Excellent communication in design reviews and cross-functional decision-making contexts.
- Experience designing workflows where trust, transparency, and user control are central - helping users feel confident in AI-driven outputs rather than confused or excluded.
- A track record of tackling novel problems in maturing product spaces, and shaping the product from early-stage bets through to execution.
- The ability to leverage feedback from users and customers to ensure the product continues to meet real needs - including enterprise users with high stakes around quality, compliance, and scale.
