We are looking for enterprise sales people based in LATAM and fluent in Spanish. Colombia is currently the highest priority.
We deliver better open source from the data center to cloud and edge. Our Linux distribution Ubuntu is now the leading platform for public cloud compute, and the favorite platform for software engineers, data scientists and AI developers. Our mission is to accelerate the adoption and quality of open source globally, and our goal is to ship the most software on the planet by cores. A tidal wave of open source innovation is the next phase of the entire enterprise software industry, and we aim to be the most compelling way to ride that wave.
Our customers include Global 500 enterprises and startups. We are expanding our product range from the base operating system - Ubuntu - to full enterprise solutions in infrastructure and applications. We can deliver software defined storage, private cloud solutions, container runtime environments, as well as databases, message queues, identity, observability, analytics, machine learning and web publishing capabilities. Customers love the idea that they can get security compliance and support for everything open source from a single company. Our goal is to have more solutions on tap than any other vendor, and we have built unique capabilities to make that possible across every cloud, every class of compute and every category of application.
Canonical provides licensed enterprise software products, commercial support, managed services, consulting and training services to customers who are deploying Ubuntu or open source applications on the cloud, in their data center, or to the connected device and IoT ecosystem. We are just over 1,000 colleagues in 70+ countries and $250m in revenue, profitable, on a steady but relentless growth trajectory. We are almost entirely distributed, with leadership spread across many countries. We believe that talent is equally distributed across the globe, and we are excited to hire, develop, promote and ultimately trust a diverse group of exceptional leads to build the best, not biggest, enterprise software company.
We hire carefully and deliberately; our selection process is long and requires substantial work from applicants. It will take successful applicants three to six months to secure an offer. This is not a place to apply if you are in a rush to find a position, it is a worthwhile place to apply if you are ambitious and long-term in your thinking about your career and the dynamics which move the world forward. If you see clearly the rise of open source, and you understand the drivers of enterprise procurement and technical decision making, then you will understand why Canonical has such a tremendous long term advantage. You will also understand, given the ferocity of competition and the challenges of competing in a market of giants, that we have to set a very high bar for hiring and performance. In order to be a world leading company we select for exceptional ability as well as character, and then provide an environment which promotes teamwork and celebrates diligence, collaboration and effectiveness. All of those are easy to say but hard to do - at Canonical we are willing to be uncomfortable in pursuit of that excellence.
In building our sales team, we look for five things:
Empathy for the customer - a real understanding of customer needs, industry-specific challenges, and a desire to help customers solve their business problems
High intellect - the ability to learn quickly, understand very complex subjects, and communicate clearly to build trust and confidence
Passion for technology - a fascination with the state of the art from brilliant people solving hard problems, and fierce competition for large prizes
Teamwork - a willingness to help others, to collaborate well with people from different disciplines, and to balance personal and team ambitions
Energy - the drive to motivate oneself and others to achieve the best result for the team and our customers
Ubuntu is already very widely adopted which gives us a credible basis for conversations in the market. Nevertheless, it requires real work for sales professionals to build on that adoption to create trusted and profitable commercial relationships with the enterprises in their territory. Our product managers and marketing teams run campaigns to generate awareness, engagement and leads, but you will need to go beyond managing inbound interest to develop the potential of your territory. You will need judgement as to which industries and companies are ready to go deeper with open source and Canonical, and energy to develop relationships in advance of proven interest. We expect professional practice, territory and account planning, as well as clear, complete and continuous reporting on pipeline status and activity, using standard professional tools.
The successful candidate will carry an annual bookings quota within their assigned territory. They should be able to travel regionally for client engagement, industry conferences, and internationally for company events twice a year. They will be expected to demonstrate professionalism and effectiveness, to prospect accounts for new business, maintain and develop existing relationships, and work with colleagues and partners on account strategy. They must be comfortable selling enterprise software, open source, cloud, virtualization, container technologies and technical software solutions to senior levels of the enterprise.
Location: We are expanding our sales organisation globally and have open roles in every region.
What your day will look like
Represent the company, its solutions and software, in your territory
Build and execute a territory plan to prioritize outreach and prospecting
Develop new pipeline through outreach, prospecting, local marketing, and industry events
Close contracts to meet and exceed quarterly and annual bookings targets

Manage customer relationships and interactions through all stages of the sales cycle
Work with field engineers to propose solutions that solve our customers’ business problems
Work with customer success to identify growth opportunities
Maintain accurate pipeline data and forecasts within Salesforce
Establish productive professional relationships with key influencers and decision makers

We balance our programs to meet local needs and ensure fairness globally.
Distributed work environment with twice-yearly team sprints in person
Personal learning and development budget of USD 2,000 per year
Annual compensation review
Recognition rewards
Annual holiday leave
Maternity and paternity leave
Employee Assistance Program
Opportunity to travel to new locations to meet colleagues

Open source software is the new default in the enterprise, and Canonical is the new challenger to major enterprise software vendors.
We are profitable and growing our global enterprise sales organisation. We are hiring a
regional sales renewal team manager
in North America to lead the renewals team in the region.
We are just over 1,000 colleagues in 70+ countries and over $250m in revenue, profitable, on a steady but relentless growth trajectory.
The successful candidate will carry an annual team bookings quota within their territory. They should be able to travel regionally for client engagements or, industry conferences, and internationally for company events twice a year. They will be expected to demonstrate professionalism and effectiveness in managing their team. They will need to coach, mentor and lead by example. Their sales representatives are expected to prospect accounts for new business, maintain and develop existing relationships, and work with colleagues and partners on account strategy. They must be comfortable selling enterprise software, open source, cloud, virtualization, container technologies and technical software solutions to senior levels of the enterprise.
Location:
We are expanding our sales organisation globally and have open sales team manager roles in every region.
What your day will look like
Build and execute a territory plan to prioritize outreach and prospecting
Allocate portions of territory and accounts to sales representatives on your team
Identify and prioritise new logo accounts in your territory for account-based marketing and prospecting
Ensure that sales representatives have high quality account plans for existing accounts and priority prospects
Monitor new pipeline development by your team, through outreach, prospecting, local marketing, and industry events
Support contract closure to meet and exceed quarterly and annual bookings targets
Be mindful and proactive in achieving tactical and strategic objectives
Work with customer success to identify growth opportunities
Ensure your team maintain accurate pipeline data and forecasts within Salesforce
Represent the company, its solutions and software
What we are looking for in you
Bachelor's level degree, preferably in engineering or computer science
Leadership and management skill
Experience of open source technology and solutions
Detail oriented with effective planning, organisation and reporting skill
Experience in enterprise software or technology sales planning and execution
Track record of achievement in sales targets and new account wins
Self-discipline and motivation to be successful in a distributed team
Professional written and spoken English, as well as any language that may be appropriate for your target market
Ability to travel for customer engagements, industry events and company events
Additional skills of interest
Specific vertical experience, in particular finance, telco, health, energy, public sector, tech
Experience speaking at conferences or industry events
What we offer you
We consider geographical location, experience, and performance when shaping compensation worldwide. We revisit compensation annually (and more often for graduates and associates) to ensure we recognise outstanding performance. In addition to base pay, we offer a performance-driven commission structure. We provide all team members with additional benefits, which reflect our values and ideals. We balance our programs to meet local needs and ensure fairness globally.
Distributed work environment with twice-yearly team meetings in person
Personal learning and development budget of USD 2,000 per year
Annual compensation review
Recognition rewards
Annual holiday leave
Maternity and paternity leave
Employee Assistance Program
Opportunity to travel to new locations to meet colleagues

HEALTH CAN’T WAIT.
Not for symptoms to get worse. Not for a six‑month appointment. Not for a system to catch up. But that’s exactly how healthcare works today. You wait, until you can’t.
Alan exists to end the wait.
Health is a universal right, and we believe this right can only become real when it’s coupled with prevention. We need to stop treating health as something we repair and start treating it as something we build, every day. It’s not solely a question of willpower. It’s the healthcare system itself that needs to work for everyone, in a sustainable way.
So we are building the new standard in prevention insurance. Alan is the first company that integrates insurance, prevention, and care into a single, acclaimed user experience.
We are on an incredible journey to build a global leading company, with a unique culture https://alan.com/en/careers. We already partner with 40K+ companies of all sizes, serving more than 1M+ members, and have reached €800M+ in ARR.
Prevention as the new norm. That's what we're building with our team of 1000+ people. If it speaks to you: we're hiring across France, Spain, Belgium, and Canada. And beyond.
⭐ CEO Founder Associate Internship ⭐
The position is open for gap year or end-of-study interns starting from July 2027, for a six-month internship. It is not open to MBA students.
CEO Founder Associates support the CEO and Senior Alaners on top business priorities, such as unlocking new growth, driving alignment on strategy, building new processes internally and externally and building new products. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on a diverse range of strategic projects in a dynamic, innovative environment, gaining invaluable experience across multiple facets of the business.
You will be highly involved in key challenges for Alan, and will be asked to support high added value tasks for Alan.
⭐ DETAILED MISSIONS ⭐
As such, you can’t be exhaustive on the missions you will perform as a FA, as you can be asked to help on almost any subject.
POSSIBLE PROJECTS INCLUDE:
- Strategy - Contribute to the strategic vision of the company, market analysis and competition, identify strategic business opportunities, perform business analyses and growth modelling
- Product & Design - Contribute to the product vision by identifying and exploring strategic product opportunities, support the continuous improvement of Alan’s core offering, conduct user research, assist in design & prototyping
- Growth - Coordinating RFP for big prospects, supporting marketing initiatives, partnerships.

- Brand & Communication - Develop the corporate presence at major events, via social networks; organise internal and external events to build the Alan network and leverage connections globally.
- Talent - Sourcing and recruiting the next batch of FA’s
In this position, you will get a great overview of the key strategic topics at Alan and you will have the chance to work with senior Alaners on topics that are instrumental to our success. You will grow exponentially with the guidance of senior Alaners. It is a unique chance to work on so many tasks in a different and non traditional environment.
Examples of recent projects:
- Strategy - Develop market entry strategies for international expansion, contribute RFP coordination for major prospects in the public sector, create go-to-market plans for new segments.

- Recurring tasks - Coordinating the weekly internal communication, supporting the CEO with meeting preparations, organising the internal events, recruiting the next batch of FAs- And many more...
⭐ PROFILE & COMPETENCIES ⭐
SKILLS
- Analytical sense and critical thinking: FAs have a lot of research and analysis to produce. This requires the ability to frame the right questions, objectively analyse and evaluate a problem, and problem-solve including simulating possible outcomes.
- Business’ and product sense: FAs often have to think at the company level, assessing what would be best for the business, and working on topics that have cross-cutting impacts. The ability to understand what can make a business great (product wise, commercially, in terms of image, etc.), and make correct decisions, even in the presence of ambiguity, is paramount.
- Execution and collaboration: given the scope, volume and timeline of work, the ability to direct people—including oneself—towards a particular objective that may require active orchestration is key.
- Versatility: given the scope of work, FAs should be able to jump from one topic to another with similar impact
- Organization, time management and autonomy: you are well-versed in missions requiring precision and reliability. You are able to manage a project from start to finish with minimal external assistance.
- Communicate effectively: given the number of Alaners that FAs interact with on a daily basis, the ability to communicate your specific needs (deadlines etc) and to inspire action in others is essential.
- Always looking for the extra-mile: as a FA, you will be expected to be able to deliver quickly and well on the tasks assigned to you, but also to be proactive in proposing new initiatives, going beyond the task assigned to you if you think it is necessary, as well as anticipating future needs to propose potential solutions?
- Growth mindset: you know how to ask for and receive feedback in order to grow as an FA in your early professional life.
- Fluency in spoken and written English. All our communications are written and in English.
- Technical aptitude: Familiarity and appetite for basic programming, experience with data analysis and/or product creation tools is a plus.
We welcome applications from candidates with diverse educational backgrounds, including but not limited to:
- Business schools (HEC, ESSEC, ESCP, LSE …)
- Engineering schools (Polytechnique, Mines Paris, Ecole des Ponts, CentraleSupelec, Imperial … )
- Data science or mathematics programs
- Other relevant fields or schools (Bocconi, Politecnico, TU Delft, UCL, Oxford, Cambridge)
Diplomas matter to an extent but if you don’t have one and have built a project or a company, we’d love to hear from you so please send your application!

WHO ARE WE?
Cohere is the leading security-first enterprise AI company. We build cutting-edge foundation AI models and end-to-end products that are designed to solve real-world business problems.
We’re training and deploying frontier models for enterprises who are building AI systems. We believe that our work is instrumental to the widespread adoption of AI and we are looking for folks that want to be part of that.
We obsess over what we build. Each one of us is responsible for contributing to increasing the capabilities of our models and the value they drive for our customers. Cohere is a team of researchers, engineers, designers, and more, who are all passionate about their craft.
We are a global technology company headquartered in Toronto with key offices in London, New York City, San Francisco, Montreal, Paris, Berlin and Seoul. Join us!
Role Overview:
We’re looking for a senior engineer to help build, maintain and evolve the training framework that powers our frontier-scale language models. This role sits at the intersection of large-scale training, distributed systems, and HPC infrastructure. You will design and maintain the core components that enable fast, reliable, and scalable model training — and build the tooling that connects research ideas to thousands of GPUs.
If you enjoy working across the full stack of ML systems, this role gives you the opportunity and autonomy to have massive impact by working on projects such as:
- Building a high-performance data loading and caching pipeline.
- Implementing performance profiling across the ML systems stack
- Developing internal metrics and monitoring for training runs.
- Building reproducibility and regression testing infrastructure.
- Developing a performant fault-tolerant distributed checkpointing system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and own the training framework responsible for large-scale LLM training.
- Design distributed training abstractions (data/tensor/pipeline parallelism, FSDP/ZeRO strategies, memory management, checkpointing).
- Improve training throughput and stability on multi-node clusters (e.g., GB200/300, AMD, H200/100).
- Develop and maintain tooling for monitoring, logging, debugging, and developer ergonomics.
- Collaborate closely with infra teams to ensure our cluster, container environments, and hardware configurations support high-performance training.
- Investigate and resolve performance bottlenecks across the ML systems stack.
- Build robust systems that ensure reproducible, debuggable, large-scale runs.
Qualifications:
- Strong engineering experience in large-scale distributed training or HPC systems.
Deep familiarity with JAX internals, distributed training libraries, or custom kernels/fused ops.
- Experience with multi-node cluster orchestration (Slurm, Ray, Kubernetes, or similar).
- Comfort debugging performance issues across CUDA/NCCL, networking, IO, and data pipelines.
- Experience working with containerized environments (Docker, Singularity/Apptainer).
- A track record of building tools that increase developer velocity for ML teams.
- Excellent judgment around trade-offs: performance vs complexity, research velocity vs maintainability.
- Strong collaboration skills — you’ll work closely with infra, research, and deployment teams.
Any of the following would also be good to have for this role:
- Experience with training LLMs or other large transformer architectures.
- Contributions to ML frameworks (PyTorch, JAX, DeepSpeed, Megatron, xFormers, etc.).
- Familiarity with evaluation and serving frameworks (vLLM, TensorRT-LLM, custom KV caches).
- Experience with data pipeline optimization, sharded datasets, or caching strategies.
- Background in performance engineering, profiling, or low-level systems.
Bonus: paper at top-tier venues (such as NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, AIStats, MLSys, JMLR, AAAI, Nature, COLING, ACL, EMNLP).
Working Location:
This role can be based remotely or from one of our office locations listed on the job description - there is no minimum in-office qualification requirement. We care most about hiring exceptional people regardless of locations, though please check the location listed on the posting for guidance around the core time zone or working hours alignment expected for the role.
FULL-TIME EMPLOYEES AT COHERE ENJOY THESE PERKS:
- A weekly lunch stipend of $75/£75 or equivalent in your local currency for lunch.
- Full health and dental benefits, including a separate budget for mental health.
- RRSP matching, 401K, Pension Scheme.
- 100% Parental Leave top-up for up to 6 months, for either parent.
- Annual enrichment benefits:
Arts & culture, fitness/wellness, quality time, and a workspace improvement credit.
Education & learning stipend for conferences, courses, and coaching.
- 6 weeks of paid vacation (30 working days!)
- Budget for traveling to other offices if you are remote, plus an annual company offsite.
HOW AND WHERE WE WORK:
- Cohere is remote-friendly, but we also have offices in Toronto, London, New York City, San Francisco, Montreal, Paris, Berlin and Seoul with more opening soon.
- For those in the office: a daily lunch program, plenty of snacks, and regular community and social events.
- For those not near an office: a co-working benefit so you can work alongside others in your city.
- Everyone receives a $500 home office stipend to set up your workspace properly.
If any of the above doesn’t line up exactly with your experience, we still encourage you to apply.
We strive to create an inclusive work environment for all; we welcome applicants from all backgrounds and are committed to providing equal opportunities. Should you require any accommodations during the recruitment process, please submit an Accommodations Request Form https://docs.google.com/forms/d/12a6IrLdF3kI2nonKSr4tiFuz18rLQbaeYV-JM9L4o9Q/edit, and we will work together to meet your needs.
We may use AI-enabled tools to screen and assess applicants against the criteria for this position. This helps our recruiters identify potentially qualified candidates, but it doesn't limit the applications our recruiters may review or consider.
Beware of Scams: Cohere will never ask for payment or third-party services (e.g., CV writing) as part of our hiring process. All legitimate roles are listed on the Cohere careers page and LinkedIn only, with all communications from Cohere employees coming from an @cohere.com or @cw.cohere email alias. This is an opportunity to run a field engineering team, helping customers understand and implement Canonical's open source solutions in public clouds and in their own data centers. We work across the entire spectrum of cloud offerings, from Ubuntu itself to virtualisation and private cloud, Kubernetes, and the implementation of sophisticated open source solutions such as MLops platforms, data platforms and more. We are rapidly expanding the range of open source solutions we offer and deliver to customers, as we move into new industries like telco, finance, health care and media we design and develop new open source solutions to meet their needs.
We believe that Engineering Managers should be outstanding engineers themselves. They should feel completely at home troubleshooting technical issues and having technical presales conversations with customers. They should contribute to project delivery themselves, but know that the technical contributions they bring are far less significant than their ability to shape the whole team’s direction, focus and delivery. We grow management skills and train engineers, who are interested in soft skills, to be managers.
We believe that open source is just starting to transform the tech sector and enterprise compute. Our goal is to make open source easier, more reliable and more secure for deployment and development. We strive to be the provider of ‘most software to most companies’. To deliver on that ambition, our engineers are carefully selected from the applicants across the globe. We select for brilliance and motivation to take open source to the next level. Our engineering managers help teams achieve more than they realised they could, and feel proud of the result.

Managers and team members also take part in presales conversations to provide technical advice during the sales process.
A Cloud Field Engineering Manager is responsible for line management and career guidance.
