As a Senior Customer Success Manager (High-Touch) for the German-speaking market, you will be the trusted post-sales partner for some of n8n’s most strategic enterprise customers. With a deliberately small book of business, you go deep: you learn each customer’s business, build relationships across their organization, and turn product usage into measurable outcomes and clear ROI.
You will own retention and expansion for your accounts, running a tight operating cadence of kickoffs, success plans, health checks, QBRs and renewals, while proactively managing risk and escalations.
In close partnership with Support, Solutions Engineering, Product and Sales, you turn technical success into durable revenue.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Own a small book of n8n’s largest, most strategic enterprise customers in the German-speaking market, acting as their primary post-sales partner across onboarding, adoption and renewal
- Build an account strategy for each customer and a footprint across their organization, from IT and engineering teams to senior business and executive stakeholders
- Own retention and expansion targets, driving renewals and growth (upsell/cross-sell) in partnership with Account Executives
- Lead customer kickoffs and success planning, aligning stakeholders on goals, timelines, responsibilities and measurable outcomes
- Drive onboarding and enablement for technical and business audiences, unblocking implementation and accelerating time-to-value
- Run a strong operating cadence (health checks, exec syncs, QBRs), using usage and health data to proactively spot risks and manage escalations
- Quantify and communicate business value throughout the lifecycle, building ROI narratives tied to adoption, outcomes and impact
- Partner closely with Support, Solutions Engineering and Product to resolve blockers quickly and deliver a seamless customer experience
- Provide structured, actionable customer feedback to Product and Engineering, and share what you learn with the wider CS team

HEALTH CAN’T WAIT.
Not for symptoms to get worse. Not for a six‑month appointment. Not for a system to catch up. But that’s exactly how healthcare works today. You wait, until you can’t.
Alan exists to end the wait.
Health is a universal right, and we believe this right can only become real when it’s coupled with prevention. We need to stop treating health as something we repair and start treating it as something we build, every day. It’s not solely a question of willpower. It’s the healthcare system itself that needs to work for everyone, in a sustainable way.
So we are building the new standard in prevention insurance. Alan is the first company that integrates insurance, prevention, and care into a single, acclaimed user experience.
We are on an incredible journey to build a global leading company, with a unique culture https://alan.com/en/careers. We already partner with 40K+ companies of all sizes, serving more than 1M+ members, and have reached €800M+ in ARR.
Prevention as the new norm. That's what we're building with our team of 1000+ people. If it speaks to you: we're hiring across France, Spain, Belgium, and Canada. And beyond.

- You will support the board meetings preparation and communication with investors regarding capital evolution and market risks
- Regulatory
- You will scale and automate the production of our regulatory quantitative reporting and contribute to our narrative (SFCR, RSR) and ORSA reports
- You will support our discussions with supervisors
- You will assist the assessment of international opportunities and help prepare the opening of new countries
- Capital management
- You will make proposals to improve our capital management in the 4 countries Alan is present

Are you ready to join our digital revolution journey?
At Aleph, we’re not just part of the digital advertising landscape—we’re shaping its future. Representing the world’s leading platforms, including TikTok, Amazon, Google, and nearly 55 others, we operate in 130+ markets across new and existing geographies.
Our mission is to empower advertisers and brands to unlock the full potential of these platforms' advertising capabilities. By fostering long-lasting partnerships, we create limitless opportunities for people and businesses to advertise effectively at both local and global levels.
With a presence spanning continents, Aleph offers you the chance to be part of a fast-growing, innovative team where your work makes a direct impact. If you’re ambitious, forward-thinking, and eager to thrive in a dynamic, global environment, Aleph is the perfect place to build your career.
We're looking for a proactive, resourceful, and AI-forward Tech & Marketing Operations Specialist to manage our technology projects, keep our learning platforms running seamlessly, and power the marketing engine that brings students to them
This role suits someone with a broad technical fluency who thrives on coordination, troubleshooting, and hands-on building. You don't need to be a professional developer, but you do need to be comfortable using tech tools to design, prototype, and ship real solutions.
The position will be based at the Buenos Aires office with a hybrid work model.
What You’ll Do
Platform & Systems Management
Tech project management:
Manage technology-related projects end to end — defining requirements, building timelines, tracking progress, and identifying improvements that serve broader project goals.
LMS management (WordPress & LearnDash):
Own the day-to-day health of our WordPress-based LMS and LearnDash plugin — user administration, course administration, email flows, bulk imports, new features, configuration, and troubleshooting.
CRM & Marketing Automation (Salesforce & Salesforce Marketing Cloud):
Act as first point of contact for Salesforce and SFMC — build and test journeys, landing pages, and lead magnets; investigate and resolve issues the Operations team can't solve; escalate and follow up when needed.
System integration:
Serve as the architect making sure LMS, CRM, Marketing Cloud, and Power BI talk to each other correctly — designing and implementing the technical architecture for data flows between platforms, including low-code integrations.
Data integrity & reporting:
Review data integrity across LearnDash, Salesforce, and Power BI; execute queries and build reports/extracts for non-technical stakeholders; handle large-scale data reviews (including million-row datasets) when needed.
Website support:
Provide general technical support for the website and coordinate with relevant resources to resolve issues.
Compliance & security:
Help bring the LMS environment up to the organization's IT and security standards, acting as liaison between the Education team, developers/cloud providers, and Security/Legal/IT.
Marketing Operations & Growth
Campaign execution:
Build, test, and launch email and lifecycle campaigns in Salesforce Marketing Cloud — segmentation, audience building, A/B tests, send scheduling, and deliverability hygiene.
Landing pages & lead capture:
Build and ship landing pages and forms based on designs provided by the internal design team; ensure correct lead routing into Salesforce, field mapping, deduplication, and follow-up automation.
Tracking & attribution:
Own the measurement layer — GA4, Google Tag Manager, conversion pixels, UTM taxonomy and enforcement — so that every campaign, source, and channel is measurable end to end.
Lifecycle & retention automation:
Design automated flows across the student lifecycle (onboarding, course progress nudges, re-engagement, certification, upsell) connecting LMS events to CRM and Marketing Cloud triggers.
Martech stack & compliance:
Own the marketing technology stack and its integrations; keep consent management, cookie compliance, and data handling aligned with privacy requirements and company policy.
AI for marketing:
Apply the same builder mindset to marketing — AI-assisted copy and creative variants, campaign localization at scale, automated performance summaries, and audience insight tooling.
Technical Bridge & Coordination
Stakeholder liaison:
Serve as a primary point of contact between internal stakeholders (especially the development team) and business operations, translating business needs into functional technical specifications.
Specification writing & QA:
Write clear technical specs, replicate scenarios, and fully test in QA and production before rollout.
Documentation:
Keep the operations manual and technical documentation current and useful for the team.
Cross-functional project leadership:
Lead multi-month initiatives (e.g., new catalog builds, platform redesigns, global/language expansions, migrations) from scoping through to launch — defining KPIs, coordinating between design/development/vendors, and testing at every step.
AI Development & Innovation
AI builder mindset:
Go beyond being “AI-savvy” — actively explore, prototype, and build AI-powered solutions that improve how the team works and how students learn (e.g., translation tools, automation of repetitive data tasks, AI-assisted reporting).
Tool development:
Design and build practical AI tools and workflows (e.g., custom Gemini/Claude “gems”/assistants, scripts, or low-code automations) to solve real operational bottlenecks — not just use off-the-shelf AI features.
Exploration & evaluation:
Stay current on emerging AI tools and platforms relevant to EdTech operations, and proactively propose where they could create value (efficiency, personalization, translation, content scaling, etc.).
AI project ownership:
Take end-to-end ownership of AI-driven initiatives — from investigating alternatives and setting up integrations, to testing and rolling out to production (as previously done with AI-powered course translation tooling).
Responsible use:
Use AI tools in a way that's compliant with company confidentiality and data-security standards, and only with company-approved systems.
What You Need For This Role
You have a solid, broad understanding of technology and digital platforms, and you're comfortable getting hands-on rather than just directing others.
You have
5+ years
of experience managing Education and Marketing tech projects.
You are genuinely
curious about AI
and see it as a tool to build with, not just a topic to discuss — you've built something with AI before (a workflow, an automation, an integration, a tool).
You bring project management skills with a track record of leading initiatives from scope to delivery.
You're a strong communicator who moves comfortably between technical and non-technical audiences.
You're a proactive problem-solver, able to identify needs and find the right solutions, people, and tools without waiting to be asked.
You understand
marketing funnels
and growth metrics (CPL, CAC, conversion rate, LTV) and can translate them into technical requirements.
Hands-on experience with marketing automation and campaign tooling (Salesforce Marketing Cloud strongly preferred) is highly valued.
Familiarity with GA4, Google Tag Manager, and conversion tracking setups is a strong plus.
You are comfortable owning both the plumbing and the outcome — not just that the campaign sends, but that it performs.
Experience with WordPress and/or LMS platforms (ideally LearnDash) is a strong plus.
Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce/Salesforce Marketing Cloud preferred) and data/BI tools (Power BI) is highly valued.
You're highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple concurrent projects.
You're a self-starter, comfortable working independently.
What Will Make Us Really Love You
You bring a track record of success in a similar role, with hands-on experience.
You’re not afraid to challenge the status quo and bring fresh, out-of-the-box ideas to the table.
You anticipate challenges before they arise and take initiative to find effective solutions.
You have an eye for detail.
You thrive on teamwork but also bring a driven, goal-oriented spirit.
You’re genuinely enthusiastic about advertising, ad-tech, and staying ahead of industry trends.
You have the ability to engage and communicate with internal and external stakeholders in a positive and approachable way.
What You’ll Love About Us
We care about your individuality by giving you freedom to grow and create within the company, regardless of your position
Learn from the best: Our state of the art workshops guarantee the latest insights into digital advertising
Be part of a company with a truly global footprint, working with leading brands, platforms, and publishers across 90+ markets.

About Wolt
At Wolt, we create technology that brings joy, simplicity and earnings to the neighborhoods of the world. In 2014 we started with delivery of restaurant food. Now we’re building the delivery of (almost) everything and you’ll find us in over 500 cities in 30 countries around the world. In 2022 we joined forces with DoorDash and together we keep on dreaming big and expanding across the globe.
Working at Wolt isn’t always easy, but it’s definitely exciting. Here you’ll learn more, build more, and ship more than in most other companies. You’ll be challenged a lot, but also have a lot of fun on the way. So, if you’re a self-starter with drive and entrepreneurial spirit, this could be the ride of your life.
At Wolt, we help local merchants reach more customers, and the New Verticals teams make sure those partners have a great experience working with us. You'll join the Quality team in New Verticals EMEA, which works across both regional and global levels to improve how we support, onboard and grow our merchant partners across all of our markets, including Wolt and Deliveroo.
You'll sit at the intersection of merchants, account management, and our support and quality organizations. You'll work on large, cross-market initiatives and partner closely with our regional teams and global heads.
What you'll be doing
This role is about taking a global view of merchant quality and operational excellence, and turning what you find into initiatives that make best practices. You contribute to our quality targets – most importantly reducing items not found and cancellations, and improving efficiency and product substitutions. You'll own the initiatives and projects you drive, for instance occasions and go-to-market, and you'll work hands-on with the internal team stakeholders, while staying close to the merchant experience.
Day-to-day in this role you'll:
Act as the point of contact and build feedback loops between merchant-facing teams, product and customer support, helping resolve defects and recurring issues at a global level
Drive product rollouts across markets, informing and training Account Managers and ensuring merchants are set up for success
Analyse how things work in practice across regions, spotting and grouping similar issues and feeding those insights back to the right teams
Lead global and cross-regional initiatives such as occasions and best practices, working with regional heads to improve performance in their markets
Collaborate with specialists across countries, running initiatives together
Use data and AI tools to analyse, automate and prototype solutions yourself, rather than waiting on others
Our humble expectations
Confident working with data. You can pull, analyse and draw conclusions on your own
Comfortable using AI tools and prompting to automate work and speed up analysis, while knowing they're a starting point and not a replacement for judgment
Strong communication skills, with the ability to work with stakeholders from different markets and levels of seniority
Solid project management skills and a track record of taking initiatives from idea to delivery
A generalist mindset: you're curious, pick things up quickly and are happy to dig into the details
A strong sense of ownership and a drive to go beyond what's expected
Fluent English both written and spoken.
What we offer
Global visibility: work on initiatives that impact many markets and collaborate directly with global heads
A real opportunity to make an impact and shape how we work with merchants worldwide
A clear growth path. Many people in this role move on to take regional ownership or product ownership
Our Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion
We’re committed to growing and empowering a more inclusive community within our company, industry, and cities. That’s why we hire and cultivate diverse teams of people from all backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives. We believe that true innovation happens when everyone has room at the table and the tools, resources, and opportunity to excel.

Who Are We?
Welltech is a global wellness technology company with Ukrainian roots. Our mission is to build and scale wellness apps globally through state-of-the-art, tech-driven performance marketing.
We are one of the most established players in the wellness app space, and we are accelerating. Over 25.5 million people across the world use our apps — Muscle Booster, Yoga-Go, and WalkFit — to build healthier habits, move more, and feel better every day. Every subscription represents a real person making a real change in their life, and we take that seriously.
With 500+ people across hubs in Cyprus, Ukraine, Poland, Spain, and the UK, we combine the scale of a market leader and the drive of a team that's just getting started.
What We're Looking For
How would you like to shape the product experience behind a portfolio of apps already generating hundreds of millions in ARR, growing 100% year over year — in one of the world's largest categories that still remains wide open? You'll have real cross-functional authority to shape the experience across Welltech's app portfolio — YogaGo, Muscle Booster, WalkFit — as we relaunch all three on a new, shared tech stack, building the foundational capabilities (onboarding, personalization, content discovery, and more) right, once, in a way that lets every app experiment and innovate faster than it could alone.
Reporting to the Head of Product, you will own product development for the shared capabilities that power all of Welltech's apps — from the first moment someone opens the app, through the identity, personalization, and content systems that shape everything they do next. You will be responsible for both large step-change product innovation and continued, high-velocity incremental feature development, helping deliver real value to millions of users.
Our culture encourages collaboration, transparency, passion, innovation, and having fun through continuous self-improvement, learning, and actively sharing feedback to constantly improve performance. You will move fast and are used to driving yourself and your teams in a quickly changing environment. You will challenge the norms and address innovation at pace and at scale. You will be comfortable with ambiguity, prototyping your own ideas — AI-assisted where it helps — before handing them to engineering to build for real, and you'll address challenges in a systematic, proactive manner to find solutions that increase customer value and happiness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the moment that matters most — the onboarding and activation experience across YogaGo, Muscle Booster, and WalkFit — as all three relaunch on a brand-new shared tech stack. You're not inheriting legacy decisions; you're making them.
- Build it once, make it great everywhere — define how shared capabilities like welcome experience, content discovery, and personalization get built as reusable foundations, not duplicated three separate times across three separate teams.
- Turn hunches into proof — design and run experiments focused on activation (getting people to their first workout) and reactivation (winning back the ones who drifted away). You'll always know what's actually working, not just what feels right.
- Reimagine how content gets discovered — push beyond long-form-only browsing into modular, quick-access experiences that meet users where they are, not where the content library assumes they'll be.
- Grow a team that grows with you — manage and mentor a small product team, and build the kind of day-to-day partnership with marketing and engineering leadership that makes big ideas actually ship.
- Prototype before you pitch — build working prototypes yourself, AI-assisted where it helps, so ideas get tested in
Required skills:
- A proven track record building and scaling direct-to-consumer, mobile-first products — ideally somewhere that lived and died by retention, not just downloads
- Real experience working alongside performance marketing — you understand what it's brilliant at, and exactly where product has to pick up the slack
- A track record of shipping features that measurably moved activation, engagement, or retention — not just shipped, but proven
- Sharp communication and stakeholder instincts — you can bring marketing and engineering into the same room and actually get alignment
- Comfortable enough with AI tools to turn a rough idea into something tangible on your own — you don't need to wait for engineering to know if a concept has legs
- A background forged in scale-up or startup environments, where you're energized by speed, experimentation, and metrics — not slowed down by them

NICE TO HAVE
- Experience running or supporting benchmarks for ML inference deployments.
- Familiarity with infrastructure tradeoffs relevant to inference performance and cost (for example GPU selection and latency versus throughput tuning).

About Us
Since 2013, we’ve been building a CRM that gets out of your way and helps your team sell more, faster. Now we’re building AI into every part of it, so Close does the busywork and your team does the selling. No manual data entry, no 10-click workflows. Just communication-first, AI-powered sales software designed to help you succeed and scale.
We're bootstrapped and profitable which means we answer to our customers and play by our rules. We're proud of our 130-person, 100% remote team, focused on building Close so that no small, scaling business fails because it can't figure out sales.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Close is a CRM built around the communication tools sales teams use every day: email, calling, SMS, workflows, reporting, and AI. Underneath that product is a broad technical surface — Python services and a large application backend, a TypeScript and React frontend, public APIs, Docker and Kubernetes, AWS infrastructure, and integrations with providers that handle sensitive customer data.
Security work happens across it all today, but the ownership is spread across Engineering, Infrastructure, and Security & Trust. We’re hiring our first dedicated Product Security Engineer to make that work systematic. You’ll report to the Backend Platform team manager within EPD (Engineering, Product, and Design), while working across the entire product and infrastructure surface. You’ll find vulnerabilities, determine which findings matter most, and drive them through remediation. Often you’ll fix the problem yourself. Other times you’ll give the owning team a clear reproduction, a practical path forward, and enough context to prioritize correctly.
You’ll analyze code, build proof-of-concepts, test running applications, tune or replace noisy tools, and automate the repetitive parts of vulnerability management. This is not a role where you forward scanner alerts and call the queue managed. Product and application security will be your responsibility. You’ll partner closely with our Infrastructure team on cloud security, access, and secrets, and with our Security & Trust Lead on GRC Engineering https://grc.engineering/, compliance (SOC 2) goals, audits, and corporate security.
This role is a new one at Close. You’ll have significant room to decide where better tooling, clearer ownership, and a small amount of code can reduce the most risk.
OUR STACK
Our backend is primarily Python, with Flask and FastAPI services and TaskTiger https://github.com/closeio/tasktiger and Temporal handling much of our asynchronous work. We expose REST https://developer.close.com/ and GraphQL APIs and store data in MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, and Redis.
Our frontend is a large single-page TypeScript application built primarily with React. We bundle with Vite, target modern browsers, and test with Vitest, React Testing Library, Playwright, and Chromatic. The product updates in near real time and uses technologies including WebSockets and WebRTC. Our mobile application is built with React Native.
We build and test Docker images in CI/CD and continuously deploy them to Kubernetes on AWS. Our infrastructure uses managed services including EKS, MSK, and ElastiCache, alongside services running on EC2. Terraform and Ansible automate much of the underlying infrastructure, and our containerized local development environment lets engineers run the full system on their own machines.
For this role, our stack extends beyond simply backend or frontend: browser behavior, frontend state, API authorization, asynchronous processing, data access, third-party integrations, containers, and cloud configuration can all be part of the same attack path.
We love open sourcing our code and ideas on our GitHub https://github.com/closeio and on The Making of Close https://making.close.com/, our behind-the-scenes Product & Engineering blog. AI is both how we build and what we ship, and that's reshaped what engineering looks like. This is a transformation we’re embracing and find deeply exciting.
YOU ARE
- An application security engineer who writes code. You can move from reading an unfamiliar code path, to reproducing an exploit, to proposing or shipping a production-quality fix. Strong Python or TypeScript experience would be especially useful; fluency across both backend and frontend systems is even better.
- Skilled at finding vulnerabilities conventional scanners may miss. You use modern AI-assisted review pipelines, guided by expert judgment, to uncover subtle flaws in web apps and APIs—from authentication, authorization, and tenant isolation to injection, SSRF, unsafe data flows, and business logic. You can threat-model designs, white-box review code, and test running systems.
- Offensive-minded and operationally responsible. You know how to test like an attacker without being careless with customer data or production systems. You can turn a finding into a safe reproduction, assess exploitability and business impact, and retest the eventual fix.
- An automation builder. You have worked with some mix of SAST, DAST, software composition analysis, container scanning, secrets scanning, or cloud posture tooling. More importantly, you know how to tune tools, connect them to engineering workflows, and remove noise.
- AI-native and accountable. You use coding agents and LLMs to accelerate investigation, code review, and repetitive engineering work, but you verify their output. You think carefully about what happens when agents clone untrusted code, install dependencies, or receive access to credentials.
- Able to separate severity from priority. A score is an input, not a foregone conclusion. You consider reachability, existing controls, customer impact, and attack chains, then explain the risk in language that is legible to an engineer or business owner.
- Comfortable working across the business. You’ll collaborate with product engineers, Site Reliability Engineers, Security & Trust Lead, auditors, and external researchers without confusing partnership for pass-off ownership. You will follow findings to closure even when another team is responsible for the fix.
- Self-directed in a remote environment. You can take an ambiguous surface (say, secret rotation or dependency remediation) and learn how it works across multiple systems then turn it into a practical plan with measurable progress.
You do not need to arrive as the deepest expert in every part of this scope. You do need to be able to investigate an unfamiliar system, determine what matters, and bring the right people with you.
YOU WILL
The work spans hands-on application security, security automation, vulnerability management, and infrastructure partnership. Depending on where you find the greatest risk and leverage, projects could include:
- Build a recurring product security review program. Threat model new features, audit high-risk areas, review code, and build safe proof-of-concepts in isolated development environments. Work across our backend, frontend, APIs, and customer-facing integrations.
- Improve application security testing. Combine static analysis, dependency and secrets scanning, dynamic testing in development, and carefully scoped production testing. Use existing tools where they fit and build focused automation where they don’t.
- Own vulnerability intake and remediation. Triage findings from HackerOne, scanners, penetration tests, audits, customers, and internal research. Reproduce issues, assess exploitability and impact, track remediation, and verify fixes. Serve as technical lead for our bug bounty program while contract and budget ownership remain elsewhere.
- Turn security alerts into useful engineering work. Verify scanner coverage and automate ingestion, deduplication, enrichment, prioritization, and routing—so teams spend less time interpreting alerts and more time fixing important issues.
- Make dependency remediation safer and less manual. Improve scanning across our Python and TypeScript codebases, then build workflows to assess upgrades, stage pull requests, run checks, and route work without exposing credentials to untrusted packages or build steps.
- Make secrets routinely rotatable. Partner with service owners and Infrastructure to inventory application secrets, add graceful rotation paths, document provider-specific runbooks, and automate rotation where the provider and risk justify it. Expand our use of Vault-backed dynamic credentials and reduce the number of rotations that require a coordinated fire drill.
- Strengthen AWS security with Infrastructure. Evaluate and improve automated detection of risky configuration across identity, networking, compute, storage, containers, and registries. Turn findings into secure defaults, just-in-time access patterns, infrastructure guardrails, and actionable remediation—not build a second Infrastructure team.
- Support audits and raising the security floor. Partner with Security & Trust on external assessments, provide technical context, and ensure findings are fixed rather than rediscovered. Along the way, create documentation, paved roads, and lightweight training that helps engineers make safer choices without waiting for a security review.
- Take a key technical role in security incident response. Partner with Engineering and Infrastructure to coordinate investigation, containment, and remediation. Contribute to root-cause analysis and follow-up improvements, translating lessons learned into stronger controls and reduced recurrence.
Tech you’ll touch: Python, TypeScript, React, Flask, FastAPI, GraphQL, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Vault, GitHub Actions, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka, Elasticsearch and the security tooling you help us choose.

Fivetran helps organizations automate data movement across the systems, clouds, engines, and tools they rely on. dbt Labs pioneered analytics engineering, helping teams transform data into reliable, governed insights. Together, we support thousands of organizations as they build a trusted foundation for analytics, AI, and better business decisions. As we bring our teams and technology together, we’re building on the strengths of both companies while continuing to deliver the products and experiences our customers know and trust. It’s an exciting time to join us: we’re creating a company with the scale, talent, and technology to help more organizations put their data to work with greater speed, confidence, and impact. During this transition period, you may see references to both Fivetran and dbt Labs throughout our recruiting process as we integrate our teams, systems, and career sites.
About the Role
Fivetran + dbt Labs is building data pipelines to power the modern data stack for thousands of companies. We’re looking for a
Senior Staff Systems Engineer, Data and Integrations
to join our Systems Engineering team and set the technical direction for the data that runs Fivetran's business. In this role, you will own the data architecture behind our marketing, sales, billing, and product operations: the canonical data models, the contracts between systems, and the pipelines and transformations that move data reliably between them. You will lead our largest and most consequential data initiatives, such as system migrations, org consolidations, and re-platforming of core integrations, from design through validation and cutover.
This position sits at the crossroads of data engineering, data modeling, and business process. You will partner closely with our Systems, Analytics, and Engineering teams, as well as Marketing, Revenue Operations, Accounting, Product Operations, and other business partner teams, and you will mentor the engineers who build within the standards you set.
This is a full-time position based out of our Oakland, California office.
Technologies You’ll Use
Our core systems are Salesforce, Netsuite, Coupa, Workday, and Zendesk, with BigQuery as our data warehouse. Our current integration stack includes Celigo and Fivetran itself. You should be an expert in SQL and strong in a general purpose programming language such as Python or TypeScript, and comfortable evaluating and adopting new tools when necessary.
A data engineering background is required, with expertise in data modeling, ETL/ELT development, data quality testing, and data validation at scale. Experience with dbt or a similar transformation framework, and with API-based and event-driven integration patterns, is preferred. Help us bring established data engineering practices to internal business systems, and define what those practices should be here.
What You’ll Do
Data Architecture and Standards
Own the canonical data models for Fivetran's marketing, sales, billing, and product operations integrations, and define how business concepts map to data across our core systems.
Define team-wide standards for data modeling, data quality, testing, governance, and documentation, and drive their adoption across Systems Engineering and partner teams.
Contribute to the design of integration architecture, establishing guidance for when to use batch, real-time, and event-driven data movement.
Delivery of Complex Initiatives
Lead the design and execution of our most complex data initiatives, including bulk migrations, system consolidations, and re-implementation of core integrations, from target-state design through validation, cutover, and stabilization.
Build, review, and ship the SQL and Python transformations and pipelines behind these initiatives, setting the bar for code quality on the team.
Design the validation and reconciliation approach for migrations and pipeline changes, and sign off with stakeholders that record counts, values, and business rules reconcile.
Reliability and Observability
Design the monitoring, alerting, and data quality framework that gives end-to-end visibility into data freshness and accuracy across systems, and define the KPIs used to measure integration and data health.
Lead root cause analysis on the most complex cross-system data issues, and drive the systemic fixes that prevent recurrence.
Business Partnership Technical Leadership
Translate ambiguous requirements from cross-functional business partners into data models and technical designs, and drive alignment across teams with competing priorities.
Serve as the technical lead and subject matter expert for business data within the Systems Engineering team.
Mentor other engineers and review their designs and code, raising the team's proficiency in data modeling, testing, and pipeline design.
Write and maintain design documents and data flow documentation for current and target state, so decisions are legible to the team and to partners.
Skills We’re Looking For
10+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, or a similar role, with a deep focus on modeling and transforming business data and a track record of technical leadership on complex, multi-team initiatives.
Expert SQL proficiency, including complex transformations, performance tuning, and large-scale data reconciliation.
Strong proficiency in a general purpose programming language such as Python or TypeScript, with experience building production-grade, tested data pipelines.
Hands-on experience with business systems data models such as those for Salesforce, NetSuite, Coupa, Workday, or Zendesk, including a data migration, org merge, or major re-implementation.
Demonstrated experience designing and delivering large-scale ETL/ELT solutions and the data quality, validation, and governance frameworks around them.
Ability to evaluate trade-offs between short-term delivery and long-term data architecture health, and to communicate those decisions clearly.
Ability to lead through influence, driving alignment across technical and non-technical stakeholders without direct authority.
Bonus Skills
Experience with dbt or a similar transformation framework.
Hands-on experience with iPaaS platforms such as Celigo, Workato, or Boomi, and with reverse ETL tools, including experience choosing between them.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP, infrastructure as code, and CI/CD for data pipelines.
Familiarity with AI/ML capabilities to augment data quality, matching, and automation.
By stepping into this role, you will define how Fivetran's + dbt Labs business data is modeled, governed, and moved, and lead the initiatives that make it scale.
