THE TEAM
Founded in 2011, Kraken is one of the world's longest-standing crypto platforms, trusted by over 10 million individuals and institutions across the globe. It offers spot trading, margin, futures, staking, and OTC services, with products built for both individual investors and institutional clients.
The Consumer team owns the Kraken app experience used by millions of traders and crypto newcomers worldwide, the product that turns someone's first crypto curiosity into a long-term relationship with Kraken. We build the interfaces people actually use to buy, sell, manage their portfolio, and interact with their assets. Our stack is React on web and React Native on mobile, and we ship fast, measure everything, and iterate based on real user behaviour. We work agile, globally distributed, and we care as much about why we build something as how we build it.
We're looking for a world-class Senior Frontend Engineer to join our product-minded engineering team: we care about customer problems, measurable outcomes, frontend craft, and fast iteration. We work across web and mobile surfaces, partner closely with Product, Design, Data, and Platform teams, and use experimentation, observability, and user behaviour to guide what we build next.
THE OPPORTUNITY
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality consumer-facing features across web (React) and mobile (React Native), owning the full experience from concept to production monitoring.
- Own the full lifecycle of product work, from discovery and technical design through release, monitoring, experimentation, and iteration.
- Drive A/B testing and experimentation strategies forming hypotheses, designing experiments, analysing results, and iterating based on data.
- Partner with Product, Design, Data, and Mobile engineers to create coherent experiences across Kraken’s consumer surfaces.
- Make opinionated technical decisions on framework and architecture choices (we want engineers who have strong views on things like TanStack Router vs Next.js App Router and can back them up with real experience).
- Set the standard for high-quality code — functional correctness, accessibility, performance, and testability are non-negotiables.
- Mentor engineers across seniority levels and contribute to a culture of craft and continuous improvement.
- Lead and collaborate on complex cross-platform initiatives, driving alignment across web and mobile surfaces.
- Stay ahead of the curve on React ecosystem tooling, React Server Components, concurrent features, streaming, and bring those insights back to the team.
- Work AI-natively, we use AI tools across the full SDLC and expect engineers to have a structured, opinionated workflow, not just autocomplete.
WHAT YOU BRING
- 6+ years of professional software development experience with a strong focus on consumer-facing web and/or mobile products.
- Deep expertise in TypeScript and the React ecosystem, you have opinions about state management, data fetching patterns, and component architecture, and you can articulate the trade-offs.
- Production experience with React Native and cross-platform mobile development, including App Store and Google Play release pipelines.
- Experience with Next.js — specifically familiarity with App Router, React Server Components, and the client/server boundary decisions that come with them.
- Hands-on experience with A/B testing, feature flags, and experimentation frameworks (LaunchDarkly, Optimizely, or similar).
- Experience with WebSockets or Server-Sent Events for real-time UI updates.
- Strong testing culture Jest, React Testing Library, Playwright or Cypress, and the judgement to know when to use each.
- Familiarity with modern build tooling (Vite, Webpack, CI/CD pipelines) and performance profiling.
- Experience in fintech, crypto, payments, or other high-trust consumer products where correctness and user confidence matter.
- Strong written and verbal English, you can write a clear RFC, give direct feedback in a PR review, and explain a technical trade-off to a non-technical stakeholder.
- An active AI-assisted development workflow, Cursor, Claude Code, Copilot, or equivalent with the engineering rigour to review and own what gets produced.
Unless a specific application deadline is stated in the job posting, applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.
Please note, applicants are permitted to redact or remove information on their resume that identifies age, date of birth, or dates of attendance at or graduation from an educational institution.

ABOUT MORPHO
Morpho is a leading Decentralized Finance (DeFi) lending protocol backed by a16z crypto, Paradigm, Ribbit Capital, Apollo, Vaneck, Coinbase Ventures, Variant and 50 others to build an open credit network giving anyone, anywhere, access to the best possible terms. Morpho is experiencing exponential adoption, with over billion in deposits on the network and used by institutional clients including Bitwise, Galaxy, and Anchorage Digital and the largest crypto exchanges, such as Coinbase, Binance, and Kraken. Now, Morpho is scaling its team of contributors to establish itself as the open credit network, not just of DeFi, but of the world.
WHY MORPHO EXISTS
Everyone has the potential to build something great for the world. But fulfilling that ambition almost always requires more: people willing to trust you with their capital. Yet access to capital still depends on where you live, who you know, and which institutions are willing to trust you. Even when capital is available, it sits fragmented across disconnected networks and hidden behind intermediaries. The result is a system that fails most of the people it should serve. Borrowers overpay. Lenders earn less than they should. Many are shut out entirely, not because they are unworthy of credit, but because today's infrastructure was never built to connect them. Morpho exists to solve this. Full article here https://morpho.org/blog/why-morpho-exists/.
ABOUT THE ROLE
You’ll run Morpho’s corporate IT: accounts and access, laptops, and the SaaS tools the company runs on, all set up securely. You’ll work closely with the security team: they set policy and lead on incidents, and you put that policy in place across our tools and devices. The scope is broad and the work is hands-on. We’d rather automate repetitive work than hire for it, so expect to write scripts and build your own tooling, using AI where it helps. We’ll go through our stack with you early in the process.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Administer SSO, the directory and the password manager. Handle onboarding and offboarding, and run regular access reviews.
- Manage the Mac fleet: setup, MDM policies, OS and app updates, and keeping the endpoint security agent installed and working.
- Apply the security baselines and access policies the security team defines, and keep our tools configured to match.
- Administer our SaaS tools: setup, admin access and licences. Handle the IT side of bringing on new vendors.
- Support the security team during incidents by isolating devices, revoking access and pulling logs.
- Provide evidence for IT controls during audits.
- Automate repetitive work such as onboarding, offboarding, access reviews and evidence collection.
- Write and maintain documentation for IT procedures.
- Take part in IT on-call.
DEFINITION OF SUCCESS
- 1 month: handles onboarding, offboarding and day-to-day account and device work without help, and knows how our tools are set up.
- End of probation: owns our identity, device and SaaS setup, has automated at least one process that used to be manual, and is the person the security team goes to for IT changes and incident support.
- 12 months: runs corporate IT independently. Onboarding, offboarding, access reviews and audit evidence mostly run on tooling they built.
EXPERIENCE
- 5+ years in IT, systems engineering or IT security.
- Hands-on admin experience with an enterprise identity provider, an MDM and endpoint security tools.
- Strong macOS management: configuration profiles, privacy preference and system extension policies.
- Writes Python or Bash to automate work. Infrastructure as code is a plus.
- Has supported a SOC 2, ISO 27001 or similar audit.
- Knows crypto companies are frequent targets of phishing and social engineering, and sets up systems with that in mind. Web3 or fintech experience is a plus.
- Writes clear documentation.
- Prefers simple setups people follow over perfect ones they work around.
- Comfortable being part of an on-call rotation.
PERKS & BENEFITS
We design benefits around deep work and growth, so you can do the best work of your career. Expect fair, top-tier compensation, real flexibility, time together in Paris, great health coverage, and support to keep learning.

Our financial system is broken. High fees, low rates, and too few ways to actually grow your money. We’re fixing it. And we’re moving fast.
We’re an all-in-one financial services platform that brings together banking, high-yield savings, credit cards, point-of-sale lending, investing, and crypto in one place. We also partner with employers, HCM providers, gig platforms, and others to deliver embedded financial services to millions of employees and frontline workers.
We’re backed by Walmart, the world’s largest retailer, and Ribbit Capital, one of fintech’s most respected investors, giving us rare scale, distribution, and the opportunity to build something truly category-defining.

THE ROLE
OnePay’s Pay Later helps Walmart customers spread out the cost of what they buy, and we’re focused on getting it in front of more of them. This PM owns that growth: finding new places and moments to offer it, and turning interest into customers who start a loan. You’ll partner closely with engineering, analytics, and Walmart-facing teams. - Own how customers discover Pay Later and start a first loan from places other than checkout
- Lead in-store and wallet provisioning from first test through scaled rollout
- Set demand and conversion targets with analytics, then run experiments against them continuously
- Work with the team building our personalization platform so the right customer sees the right offer at the right moment, and push it to perform for Pay Later
- Ship with Engineering, Design, Risk, and our Walmart partners
You bring
- 3-5+ years in product, mostly at startups, owning a funnel or growth surface end to end. You can tell us what you moved and by how much
- A record of getting things shipped through teams you did not manage, such as platform, data, and partners
- Strong ownership, with experience being a decision maker
- Experience in payments, lending, consumer banking platforms. BNPL helps but is not required
WHAT WE OFFER
- Competitive base salary, stock options, and health benefits from Day 1
- 401(k) plan with company match
- Remote-friendly (US), flexible time off (FTO), and opportunities for growth
- A high-growth, mission-driven, inclusive culture where your work has real impact

BUILDING THE FUTURE OF OPEN FINANCE
Payward - the parent company behind Kraken, NinjaTrader, Breakout, xStocks, Payward Services and CF Benchmarks - has spent the last 15 years building one of the most modern and globally accessible financial infrastructure platforms in the industry, built to advance an open, global financial system.
THE TEAM
Payward Services is an enterprise infrastructure platform that enables companies to seamlessly integrate trading, payments, funding, and digital asset services through a single unified system. It provides coordinated liquidity, custody, compliance, risk management, and settlement capabilities, reducing operational complexity for fintechs, banks, brokerages, and payment providers.
Payward’s Payments & Blockchain team builds the capabilities that move money into and out of its products, connecting banking partners, payment providers and local rails for millions of users.
We’re building a peer-to-peer marketplace for Asia-Pacific that lets users buy and sell digital assets directly with each other using familiar local payment methods. Payward will provide the marketplace infrastructure, merchant network, escrow, transaction management, and trust and safety capabilities.
We’re looking for an experienced product leader who has launched crypto P2P in APAC and can turn that expertise into a shared platform serving multiple Payward products.
THE OPPORTUNITY
- Strategy and market expansion: Set the P2P vision, business objectives and roadmap. Prioritize markets, customer segments and payment methods based on demand, competitive conditions, economics and regulatory requirements.
- Merchant network and liquidity: Develop the merchant acquisition, onboarding, incentives and retention strategy. Work with commercial and local teams to build dependable liquidity, competitive pricing and coverage across relevant payment methods.
- Marketplace economics: Define fee structures and incentive programs. Set commercial targets and improve revenue, transaction costs and contribution margin with finance and commercial partners.
- Core P2P capabilities: Lead product development across matching, escrow, order management, payment confirmation, transaction limits, merchant controls and dispute handling.
- Platform adoption: Build reusable capabilities and integration requirements that allow multiple Payward products to offer P2P. Make the platform straightforward to integrate, operate and extend into new markets.
- Buyer, seller and merchant requirements: Define transaction workflows, exception handling and acceptance criteria. Bring customer research and marketplace expertise into interface decisions, and use transaction data to identify friction and improve completion.
- Trust and marketplace integrity: Partner with risk, compliance, legal and operations to build merchant verification, fraud prevention, dispute resolution and appeals into the product from the outset.
- Launch and operating performance: Lead cross-functional launch planning and establish the processes needed to run each market. Track liquidity, order completion, time to trade, repeat usage, dispute rates, fraud losses and platform reliability.
- Product leadership: Align senior stakeholders around priorities and tradeoffs, work closely with engineering on system capabilities, and develop product talent as the platform scales. Apply proven P2P playbooks and move quickly from decisions to live transactions.
WHAT YOU BRING
- A demonstrated record of launching and scaling a crypto P2P marketplace in APAC, ideally including a launch from zero.
- Senior product leadership experience with responsibility for strategy, roadmaps and measurable commercial outcomes.
- Deep understanding of merchant operations, two-sided liquidity, pricing, incentives and the economics of P2P trading.
- Practical knowledge of APAC payment methods, local banking and wallet ecosystems, and how customer behavior differs across markets.
- Experience building shared platform capabilities used by multiple products, channels or external partners.
- Strong judgment about fraud, payment verification, transaction disputes and the operational realities of running a financial marketplace.
- Technical fluency across APIs, transaction lifecycles, payment integrations and reliable financial systems.
- The ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead through partnerships with engineering, interface product teams, operations, risk and commercial teams.
NICE TO HAVES
- Experience expanding P2P across several APAC markets.
- Experience with stablecoins and local fiat on/off-ramps.
- Experience building and leading product teams.
- Fluency in one or more APAC languages.
Unless a specific application deadline is stated in the job posting, applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.
